I went to a shop for recharging my airtel internet in mobile for Rs.98/- but the shopkeeper mistakenly charged it by Rs.98/-
Unfortunately I have not got any balance,any talktime, or any internet usage balance..I called up the customer care immediately but one lady picked up the call and she misbehaved with me to her level best..!! I am just surprised how come such company like AIRTEL could do this with customers..!!

    Dear Sir,

    I am using Air tel [protected] postpaid number which is on my wife name. They are giving me such service where they don't give me any brief about internet plan. Three days before I bought one 3G Mobile of Sony Company. Today when I see my bill of Airtel I found that in three days they charged me approx 2500 Rs for downloading on less than 250 MB data download. Even though before that I never worried about Internet because I thought it may include in our plan. But now when I discussed with Airtel customer executive they said that it is charged around 10 Paisa per KB charged.

    Now you tell me that before saying anything to me or without updating about my plan they are charged me un-usual amount. After that when I discussed with Customer Care executive and I remind about no updation from their side about the plan so he says casually about that sir if you dont know the plan then how you use this. Since the plan charge is 10 paisa per kb so you have to pay this. If your charges are going beyond one lakh or more they dont neglect by airtel and you have to pay that amount also.

    Sir, you tell me if the person are not aware about the plan then how can they charged unusual and after that if the amount is more than our income they asked me to to pay that amount also. As I thought that they are not only cheated their customer also they are very used to misbehave with them also.

    Right now I request to stop Airtel service. But really I want to make a complain against Airtel Services.

    They cheated me about the plan and also they generated unrealistic amount of Bill. They are doing Fraud work and I want that you have to take some serious action against Airtel Services. Also want that they withdraw the fraud amount from their side.

    Awaiting your action.

      Hello Sir/Madam

      I name is amit kumar.i am from delhi.My Mobile no. [protected] which i am using from last four years has convert idea prepaid to airtel postpaid. The number was then converted into postpaid . I submitted my voter id card as identity and address proof. But after submitting all the authentic documents I dont know why my outgoing stopped if trying to call the message is coming that due to incompletion of documents outgoing stopped.After two days they have stopped my all incoming and outgoing calls and geeting msg.from airtel that your SIM registration is failed without any verifaction of my address proof as i have earlier submitted my document and getting airtel postpaid bill on the same address which i have provided.and a person comes for address verification(31/12/12), he verifies my address and all the documents and said your no ([protected]) will start in today evening. But my no have not started yet . Due to that i am facing some challenges as i am unable to contact my clients regarding business. I have tried to contact Airtel Cust. care and spoke with two executives on behalf of whom i converted my connection to postpaid they didn't answer my call and didn't give any response from the customer care.
      please short out my problem as soon as possible.

        This is an ongoing issue with Airtel...


        I have disconnected the broadband connection long back due to the issue I had with the payment.

        Last week I got a call from a Lady from Airtel and she said she is Keerthana from Chennai office.

        Again I had to tell all the story from last 8 months and she said I need to pay only 2500/- the remaining amount will be waived off. This week I got a message from Airtel saying that if I want to reactivate my account give a call. So I called them and I had to tell all the same story and that lady said this would be like a new connection and regarding old payment the concern team will call you.

        I got the connection on Saturday and Sunday morning I got a call from Keerthana for the old bill payment.
        So based on her confirmation I have paid 2500/- cash on Sunday to the representative who came to my house and collected it.

        Monday morning I got a call from another Airtel representative asking me to pay the remaining 2500/- which was due in the old bill. I was shocked to hear this and I told him what had happened and he said nothing is updated in the system like this and I need to pay the money.

        I want few things to be very clear.

        1.I WILL NOT PAY ANY MONEY FOR WHICH I HAVEN’T USED.
        2.THIS WAS NOT MY FAULT IT WAS ALL BECAUSE OF AIRTEL.
        3.I HAVE RECORDED ALL THE CALLS WHICH I HAVE RECEIVED FROM THIS LADY KEERTHANA.
        4.IF THIS ISSUES IS NOT SOLVED BY END OF TODAY I WILL HAVE TO GO TO THE CONSUMER COURT AND FILE A CASE.
        5.I DON’T WANT A CONFIRMATION MAIL/CALL SAYING THAT THIS ISSUE WILL GET SOLVED WITHIN 48 HOURS.

        I WILL NOT PAY ANY SINGLE RUPEE AND I DON’T WANT THE CONNECTION PLEASE DEACTIVATE IT.

        No one bothered to call me and solve the issue and daily I'm getting calls from the Airtel/Agency for asking the payment to be made.

        You guys are testing my patience.

        I need someone to call or to come in person to solve this issue.

          Sir,
          my airtel dth account no.[protected], in 2011 in the mid march i have disconnected my airtel dth services because of their unsatisfactory services and i have Rs.2450.00 balance in my dth account which they said it will be refunded after they collect the set top box and dish, but it has been a year and more they collected those things and i have not received my amount till date. please help and do justice ensure them me pay with interest.

          Airtel Dish DTH — Not refunding money

          I bought an Airtel Dish TV connection recently and when i shifted my house I called to customer care and made a request to do reinstallation of the device. They agreed to send their executive to do the executive. But even after 3-4 days no one came and in between I called customer care so many times for follow up.Each time different people will be taking the phone and will tell different stories and finally I called to customer care and asked to disconnect the device and to refund my money. That executive agreed and he said will refund my money. But next day, some executive called me and told they wont refund my money as it is not company policy. It is two weeks passed now and no one responded for my request. Providing this kind of pathetic service, as a customer I do not want to pursue their service and want my money back.           Airtel DTH — Not refunding my payment

          Hi,
          I booked Airtel DTH through Online offer on 2nd October.
          I got a call from[protected] and payment was directed to IVR and i made payment of Rs. 999/-.
          Thereafter there was no response from Aitrel DTH team.After many calls to them i had one representative visit my premises on 7th October and he said that directions of balcony is such that we cannot install the antenna hence the money would be refunded.
          Since then i have been following the Airtel guys and have been making calls upto 3 times a day and everytime i get a reply stating i would get a call within one hour and that it is already forwarded to senior officials but i never ever get any call from them.Please help me get my money back.
          This is height o[censored]nprofessional behaviour from their side.

            Hi Team,

            A POLY Tone service has been activated without any confirmation and airtel is not closing the same. Though several complaints has been raised with airtel UP West district authorities "appellate.[protected]@in.airtel.com" and "nodalofficer.[protected]@in.airtel.com" the POLY Tone service is not deactivated. Every time airtel gives back the money but it do not stop the service on my Mobile number--[protected] (UP West number of Barielly City). So whenever I do recharge the amount gets automatically deducted for "POLY Tone Serive". Please do the needful at the earliest.

              I recharged my mobile for sms pact for Rs.36 on 12/12/12 @1.47pm. I recharged my mobile for full talk time of Rs.160 on 31/12/12 @12.50pm.I got a msg tat my sms pack has been auto renewed on 02/01/13 without my consent. When i tried to call my frnd @ 10pm yesterday (2/1/13) i got an auto generated voice tat i don't have sufficient balance in my mob and ask me recharge my account. I was shocked to hear this news. I cant understand wat is going on in air tel company.

                  The same happened to me on my idea recharge . i have recharged it through ideacellular site only. After recharging with 67 rs i got only 900 sms instead of 100 per day for 1 month.

                      This is with respect to my Airtel Kolkata postpaid number which I had 11 months ago.Due to business reasons I had to travel abroad for 4 months and informed the same to kolkata customer care before travel.Then after post coming back from abroad my office changed my base location out of West Bengal to another state.

                      Since last 4-5 months I have been trying to reach these people from Mysore to tell me the outstanding amount for my Airtel number : [protected].
                      But none of them responds stating that its invalid number or giving another number to contact where they state the same.

                      Iam tired of these hassles, their behavior so idiotic that neither they respond nor they talk properly.Also,they come up with stupid number with noone at another end to understand the problem clearly.

                      Please request the authorities to look into this and HELP me close the final outstanding which was around 1200 INR and further close the account permanently.PLEASE HELPPPP.

                      My mobile no is [protected] - Airtel. On 19.02.2010 I have received an SMS from Airtel Service which reads as follows
                      "You have been renewed for SaiBaba_ pack subscription service from Airtel. You have been charged Rs 30. Filmy Buzz and Pics 321 69"
                      Immediately it is seen an amount of Rs 30 has been debited from my account. This is an uncalled for service which I never asked for. Please desist your corrupt officials.
                      In the mean time please refund Rs 30 to my account immediately. Else I would be constrained to necessary action as deemed fit.
                      Similarly for mobile no [protected] - Airtel an amount of Rs 30.00 has been deducted this week for extending service without being asked for.This amount must be refunded immediately.
                      Oflate lot of complaints are remured in the air for unsolicated debit from prepaid account of Airtel. Plese desist your corrupt officials to desist such practices before the image of Airtel is tarnished,

                        I applied for a airtel postpaid dongle connection from reachh aitel exclusive shop chrompet(receipt no 12584 dated 24/12/2012). Till now (03/01/13)the connection is not activated and despite repeated calls and requests and remainders the showroom did not respond when i demanded a refund the store in charge Mr suresh (Chief service manager!!!!!!!!!!!!! what a irony?)spoke rudely and said that he is not responsible for airtel and his duty is only to sell and not to care about post connection services despite being a airtel franchise he spoke rudely about my profession(i work in healthcare sector) and said that doctors do not take responsibility for deaths so he is not responsible for this inaction .he says that its not his problem and he will not refund and he will give confirmation for service activation.pls do not trust reachh mobiles when i was there for 40 minutes there were 5 problems like these all are customer dis service they provide headache not service to customers

                            Hello today at 1.30 pm date 2.1.2013 i have dialed *121# with my airtel no. I.e. [protected] i have checked monthly internet pack of rs. 98 with 1 gb data and 30 days validity .ok after that i recharged my no. With 98 rupees but i got only 650mb with 21 days validity ,after recharging i have again checked the monthly internet pack by dialing *121# and it was showing the same i.e. 1gb data with 30 days validity .
                            After that i called customer care and they are just deducting my balance and cutting call every time.
                            Mr. Om singh and sandeep were on customer care helpline first they are not telling their names and when i forced they told there name and cut the call one of them didnt tell his name...
                            Now tell me what should i do i have a screenshot of that now tell me what should i do even i cannot call customer care i m calling it with my brother no. [protected] .now they have blocked both the numbers.

                              I am using Airtle broadband and wanted to change my plan. I raised a request for a Mega 8GB plan which was showing up on airtel site and also got a request created(#[protected] by the Airtel executive who confirmed that the plan is available.
                              Today I get another call from the Airtel team and they told that the plan i have requested is not available and i have to opt for another plan which was not what i wnated. the Plan he has offered is expensive and also not required for my use.
                              This is a problem i have been facing from airtel where they display some type of Plan on there website but when we ask the Airtel customer care they say its not available. Example for this is LUP749 plan which shows up on the Airtel site when we select Punjab / chandigarh.
                              This plan is best suited for my use but i never get it because of the same reason that it is not available.
                              From a lay man term this looks like a fraud that the company is doing by showing some lucarative plans so people opt for airtel and later saying that the plan is not available. I want to report this incident to the consumer forum.

                                    I am using my airtel postpaid connection from more than 3 years.My number is [protected].
                                    Due to my personal concern I requested them to convert postpaid to prepaid connection on 24th Dec 2012.
                                    On the same day I cleared all my outstanding as well as unbilled amount.
                                    I submitted all my documents required to convert.They gave me another sim card for prepaid number.
                                    After 3 days i.e. 27th december my postpiad sim got disconnected from network.So I inserted my prepaid sim card and there is no network either in postpaid sim or new prepaid sim.
                                    I was keep on calling customer care and raised my concern.Sometimes they are telling it is still in postpaid connection even though I got a message saying my number converted to prepaid, sometimes they are saying that I have to wait for 7 working days.

                                      I am from New delhi. My airtel account no is 13956666 and I have applied for the shifting of my landline cum broadband connection from AIRTEL on 6th November 2010 from the previuos address to my current address. But till date the shifting has not been done yet. I also called so many times on the Airtel customer care. They always assure me about the job done and they always gave me a new reference number. Now every time when I call on the customer care to check the status , Airtel customer care executives always told me that the case is under process and it will not take more then next 1 day.

                                      I am extremely disappointed about the services that such a reputed company like Airtel. When our bill payments are delayed even for a single day we get 100 of calls but when it comes to refunding our hard earned money there is no sense of responsibility or ethics!

                                        I am so done with Airtel.the customer care services is a disaster.i am calling 121 to tell them that my blackberry services are not being activated even after sending activation message and all they do is put me on hold and then hang up or ask me to call 7070 where a system generated message tells me that i am not registered and to call 121...it is forming a web with one person shifting his responsibilities to another.Airtel has no code of conduct and i personally feel that Airtel should be banned.people of Airtel customer care center relish harassing the common man and customers because of whom airtel is earning huge profit.Government of India should take a stern action against Airtel Bharti Customer care Center and its staff.

                                        I write this email as Airtel (Maharashtra Circle) has failed to provide a specific service, which I had subscribed and registered for on the 4th of October . Despite several follow ups, the issue still persist and I am almost on the verge of requesting the renewal of the service (which unfortunately never got activated at all!).

                                        As mentioned above, on the 4th of October , I had requested the Pre-paid Blackberry Service (Plan 299) to be activated on my 8700 Blackberry handset. The request was registered immediately and the amount was debited instantly. But the service is yet to be activated on my handset! Even as I write this email, I speak to a technical support personnel, who mentions that there is some weird problem with the servers, due to which the device is still not registered on the Airtel server, although the service has been activated !

                                        Unfortunately, I do not even have a complaint number to provide, as the Technical support personnel mentioned that there is no request ID generated, when a complaint is being reported and is worked upon.

                                        Note (4-Nov-2009): Inspite of all the escalations there has been no resolution provided to me.
                                        And to add to this, today Rs.299 more was credited from my pre-paid account to re-activate the Airtel BB services for the next month!

                                        I have asked how to activate BB Services and they answer about Mobile Office and Airtel Live and diverting me to technical team.
                                        When I call the technical team they are asking to activate BB services through Customer care people.
                                        Got the details to activate but am getting a response unable to process try again after 24 hours.
                                        How many 24 hrs should i wait to get a service for which am going to pay?

                                        I am using a prepaid Airtel card and a blackberry phone. I send a sms on 121 to activate my black berry services on 11 march 2010 and the service provide also DEDUCTED my 299 balance the same day. the maximum time according to them is 24 hrs an activation of services. i called them on 12th, they said there is a problem is server and they cannot do anything about it. i was given the rural manager ABHA GUPTA'S number, i tried calling her up serve times but she did not answer my phone. i wen to the airtel gallery on 12 march and when called on their 999 helpline from the gallery itself, they assure my BB services will get activated by 15th MARCH 2010 morn and i was told that their executive will call me up and was given the complaint number for the same, which is [protected]. but my black berry services has yet not been activated, so today on 15 MARCH 2010, i call them up again. i was informed again there is nothing much they can do and i will have to wait for maximum 15days. when i asked them to send me a sms on my cell on their behalf assuring that my services will be activated for sure after 10 days they refused. i do not wish to activate my BB services with airtel any more but they have crooked me and deducted my balance, so all i m forced to do is wait. I have been mentally tortured. i feel cheated and mislead.

                                        I'm Kaarthikeyan, using airtel blackberry services thru airtel prepaid ([protected]) for a while. My Blackberry services ceased to work from 20-Mar-11, and I've been contacting airtel customer care every now and then, but there is lack of proper response. Its almost two days now, and the customer care is not approachable at all, I hear the computer voice asking for some nonsense passwords just to ignore the callers. Before this issue the calls will be attended even before it rings. I'm planning to migrate to some other service provider soon due to this sheer lack of response. I've now lost two days of my blackberry services validity which I'm not gonna get back again. No more airtel.
                                        Airtel Blackberry services are pathetic ,awefull. I really regret taking this service from airtel . People in the customer service are not properly trained and they even do not have proper info .

                                        I am a blackberry customer . I called up the customer care to see if I could use my device with my laptop also . No one was actually able to give me the proper info . One of the customer care rep said it was possible . One of them said it was not possible , and the problem is when ever they see that the issue cannot be resolved they just disconnect the phone . The reps I interacted to were Ashita and Sharmistha . They should be immediately retrained or people like me will leave airtell and start with some other service provider . And not to mention they do not even know how to talk properly . They were enough rude to me as if they were doing some facvor to me or something . Is this the way a customer is treated ?
