I am using Airtel pre-paid number [protected] for last 10 years. Recently when I installed MyAirtel application in my Andriod instrument, the registered name is showing somebody else' name. When mailed and checked with 121, airtel executive confirmed that it is in somebody else' name. I've submitted required documents requested by airtel, more than thrice in last 10 years. I've personally handed over documents to Airtel office, Vikrampuri, Secunderabad & Airtel Office, White House, Begumpet, Hyderabad. In spite of this the name and details are not changed according to the documents. Are these airtel offices are dummy offices, do destroy documents once they received it from customers. If not, then whey my name is not registered in their database. After writing several mails to 121, the executive says he cannot talk to those airtel offices and change the details. He was suggesting me to personally visit airtel office and check with them. Why should I do all these things? When I've submitted documents, why can't customer care executive can contact at those offices and get the documents. Is airtel do disintegrated?

Kindly do the needful.

    Hi,

    i had raised a ticket for transferring my broad band connection with the phone number[protected]. The Ref No : 25480834 and raised on 2nd December , was informed it would need 5 working days and would be resolved by Dec 6th. Post that i called Airtel on 5th Dec to check on the progress of this ticket and was informed that it was on track and it would be closed on 6th Dec. I shifted residence soon after and called Airtel on 8th Dec to check progress of the move and was informed that there was a technical fault with the cable , and that my ticket has been escalated. I have called subsequently post that, spoken to supervisors and to the escalation department but to much avail. i was gauranteed a call back and no call backs happened. Funny part is they called once and got a call waiting and they didnt even try post that. My final call was on Dec 24 and was informed that the issue would be closed by Dec 26. So here we are, so is airtel really the best broadband provider this country has to offer to a customer who has used their service for 4 yrs?

    AirTel — transfer of broadband connection

    i have been using your airtel internet broad band connection for last 10 months...

    i m sorry to state that your services n staff are the worst i have ever encountered in any aspect of my life...the guy from your staff who got us the connection named Mr. Parminder had stated during the time of installation that connection can be transferred to any place in NCR region without any problem.
    but my problems started when we shifted to our new flat at the above mentioned address, which is hardly 500 metres away from the old address..
    i had first called your customer care service on 13th June.2010 asking for transfer of connection to my new address...n i was told that the entire process will take 3 working days and a charge of Rs 300 only...i agreed to that...i waited till 16th for the same but there was no response.i was literally calling your people every day..(who i am sorry to say are the most unqualified people to be born on this planet)...they kept delaying it for the next day...finally on 19th of June i was told that my complaint has been lodged and complaint number 353271 was given to me.....n i was said the concerned department( which i feel even your staff does not know about) will contact me....no contact was made...n on calling again another complaint number was given 3407004 and so called higher authorities were informed about my complaint....again no response came from your side n on calling again a service request number 34696858 was given....n they were supposed to call back by 6th of July....this time surprisingly they called...to inform that the tariff plan of Rs 799 which we were using is not available at the new address...so we have to take a plan of Rs 1199 or something...
    my complaints are
    1. the guy who fixed our connection Mr. Parminder gave us wrong information that the connection can be shifted anywhere in NCR...and on calling him he refuses to talk or take any inquiry
    2. your customer care people just kept on using two words- concerned department and technical fault...i wonder what thy are...i am not sure even if they aware of the either
    3.just for a distance of 500 meters away...why is it that one tariff plan is available and not the other
    i have been misguided, cheated and mentally harassed by your company...and i want action to be taken against each one responsible for it.
    i refuse to pay bills for the period in which your services were not provided...that is from 13th June onwards... kindly address my issues and let me know if you can provide the service which you were supposed to....otherwise please return my installation charges..

      I am Vasu. I am visited Airtel Relation ship center at Anna Nagar (Reach Communications) several times ( close to 10 times) but without use. I am trying to change my post paid CUG connection to latest one and the people there are helpless.Timings stated is 9 AM - 8 PM but even at 10.00 AM there is no people to work. Also they try to avoid working and instead directing to other locations. After 4 - 6 PM is general power shut down at Anna Nagar and this center will also not work since there is no UPS or inventor. Not sure of the pathetic slate of the Airtel service provider. Need to check this is how Airtel works ( one of india's leading service provider).

        I am impresed to get a quick reply from your side. Its appreciated and this fast service attracts me always and made Airtel put few steps above than other providers. Thats why i have been with this leading Airtel Network for a long time. I have gone through each line of your email but i want to point out one thing that i have been using as you mentioned not from now but since i came to know about mobile settings long years back.

        Only from 26/12/2012 onwards i started facing this problem for my Airtel no +[protected]. i am dead sure that there is nothing wrong with mobile and settings.i can assure that. The error which i am getting is 'SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED'. while being an existing good customer like me how come i got such an error. There is nothing wrong with my part but it happens from your side. so i urgently and kindly need to get it cleared

        It will be good and greatly appreciated if you could sort it out as quick as possible. I dont want to miss any of my business clients. I have been waiting for your reply. Feel free to contact me for further clarification over my UK mob no[protected].

            Dear Sir;

            I have taken yours airtel post-paid connection my ph no ; [protected] . Your sales person wrong committed to me and He said that you will get 1500 minute local and STD calls free but When 1 month bill generated i didn't get any free call in my bill. My bills is unclear as they committed and more than my expectations.

            I requested deactivation of my post-paid number and it is deactivated on 2 December 2012. But the request is not processed and I am receiving bills for the number.

            Please help me get rid of this PATHETIC SERVICE and loss of money! Please intervene in this matter I will be thankful of you for same and resolve the issue

              AirTel — MESSAGE FAILED

              Hello, I have complaint regarding messages.The messages are not sent and it shows failed and saved msg in outbox. I am facing this problem for many days.                 My ROFFER incentive and booster OTF are not credited properly its credited partially or null.In customer care also they are not answering properly.These things are happening throughout the year.They are promoting fake promotion messages and not act accordingly.If they are not interested to give incentives then why they are sending those message continuously.i need solution for these things

                  Hi, I am Shashank Bhushan from U.P. East and my mobile number is [protected]. I recharged with (Rs. 45) 3G Data Pack, i got an confirmation msg, that the plan has been successfully activated & i've got 150MB 3G Data. But, i did not get any data, i called CC, they are saying different different things, like you have consumed all data, next one says no recharge has been done, different people saying different things.

                  I've checked there website and then recharged via E-top, but when i told them this, they all started saying that the plan is only available as Rs. 45 in self care and through CC online activation. But there's nothing mentioned like this in there website ! They said that through E-top i have to recharge with Rs. 47 for the same pack & in Rs. 45 E-top i will get a A2A Tarriff...

                  They denied submitting any complaints and the CC executive started using vulgar language and when i asked his full name he denied to tell !!!

                  They are saying that i should call CC before every recharge, to know the status of the plans ! Are they dumb ?

                  I need immediate help !!!

                    this is my number [protected],now I'm in Kuwait,i can't call in India,please tell barring password
                    I am unable to use the call barring feature. I was using this service since 2004 It was working fine before but since last week I am facing problem while using this service. I tried contacting Airtel customer care many times but as per them its a handset feature and suggested me to contact Nokia for the same. I explained them by sharing the manual of the Nokia model that it must be activated by the network service provider but they don't agree. I remember very well that this service was activated on my nujmber from AirTel in 2004. It is not a handset feature. It can be used from your handset only if it is activated from your network service provider (Idea, AirTel, Vodafone etc.) Not any customer care executive including senior supervisor too, knowing properly regarding this service. Everybody is saying same that this is a handset feature. Even theirs nodal officer also saying same. It is really the height of ignorance by Airtel.
                    Please get the Call barring service re-activate on my number.

                      I have recently switched my mobile number ([protected]) to Airtel and subscribed to a 3g data pack (1GB/month free usage). I found that some amount is getting deducted from the main balance for internet browsing though 3g free usage is still remaining.

                      I called up the customer care professional. They say that there are some chargeable websites for which balance will be deducted from my main account balance.

                      I neither found the list of such chargeable websites on Airtel's website nor received any alert messages while browsing them on my mobile.

                      I switched to Airtel though it's is well-known for such kind of frauds, Did I make a mistake ?

                        It's being more than a week, since I have selected my ala- de-carte channels for my above I'd.

                        Till now I have contacted at paid customer care & had taken more than 60 minutes in all, and all the times I have been transfered to seniors who assured me of ala-de - carte package activation.

                        But unfortunately till now it's being not activated. I Moreover I was assured that daily burn cost will not be deducted till said package is activated, and but still I am losing my money.

                        It's really painful and irritating to talk again n again for same issue. If airtel is not capable of handling online request it should simply discontinue taking online request or at least remove option of ala-de-carte option from there.

                        Anyways kindly let me know if it is possible to start my selected channels or I should take any other decision.

                          My bharti airtel mobile no. [protected]. and i had activated BBM services.
                          through customer care center on 04/10/2012 & customer care person
                          inform us charges 399 per month. only. but after usage of four to five
                          day i came to know that my bill was generated 2700 than i surprise &
                          knew from customer care you have made 1900 rupees as advance rental
                          for six month which was not intimated to me before charging than
                          suddenly myself discontinue BBM services.& made same complain in
                          customer care centre two three times but we are not getting any
                          response from your side.
                          So please clarify & Kindly aknowledge my complaint and waived imposed
                          charges than i am ready to pay my actual charges.

                            I Poonam Chaudhary, Got postpaid connection [protected] in february 2011. In July i wanted this to be prepaid and called on airtel customer care from there customer executive asked me to go to nearest airtel store and they will make it prepaid . I went to Ansal Plaza, South Ex airtel store but there i was told that airtel store people cannot convert it in prepaid i need to call on customer helpline no. 121. But there i got same response that i need to go t airtel store. Both guys wwere passing me to each other. I got fed up and styopped usng that no. Now from december first week 2012 airtekl guys keep calling me on daily basis to get the payment. When i told them that i am not using it and will not pay my amoutn coz of all difficulties they have given me . Airtel guys started insulting me by usng bad language and high tone. Also, they have exceeded my credit limnit without any informetion which has increased my bill amount. They even did not provide me service of checking my bill amount. Firs they gave me everything without informing and now asking for payment.

                            This is not less than a cheating, they are making fool o[censored]sers .

                            I request you to please take action upon my complaint.

                              Hi sir, i was the user of airtel postpaid and my mobile no is[protected], i have been charged unnecessary amount of rs 1500/- i did'nt pay the bills and request thousand times to airtel to rectify those charges but they said they have changed the bill plan and they sent a message to me regarding this but i have not received any massage from them , after four months of harassment nothing happened and they discontinued the services of my mobile...but now they called to my contacts and asked them for my new contact number...and they also threatened them that ...they will file a case and send the summons to them.......i am very depressed by the behavior of those people....

                                I have used mobile internet packs of Rs.98 on prepaid numbers but this is the first time I used it on a postpaid number. I activated mobile internet pack of Rs.98 (1 GB plan valid for 1 month) on my post-paid airtel number [protected] on 16th December, 2012. My usual usage for a month comes to around Rs.300. I received message a couple of days later that my bill excluding discount is Rs.1200. Shocked and unaware of such billing practice in postpaid connection, I checked with customer care who replied that at the month end the entire data pack offer of Rs.98 would get adjusted against the huge amount and I would get the usual billed amount similar to previous months. I enquired how would the customer get to know his data usage to which the customer service exec confirmed that there is no way to check data usage. However, after 80% usage customer gets a message that 80% of the data under the plan has been used. Data is billed at 10P/10Kb and discount/plans are adjusted at end of monthly billing cycle. Thus, at the rate of 10P/10Kb I had already used 100MB.

                                For my own precaution, I downloaded and used a data usage monitor app. Subsequently, I have been getting message of my daily bill(excl. discount) reaching Rs.3000, Rs.4000 and as of today its Rs.5466 (dt.25/12/2012) which equates to approx.500-550MB of data. Suddenly, yesterday my internet stopped working. I checked with Customer Care and they informed that my bill is currently Rs.2000 including discount, as I have exceeded my data usage. Due to high bill, my internet service has been suspended. My data usage app shows data usage no more than 400-500 MB(since I downloaded the app a couple of days after I activated the data pack, exact figure is not ascertainable). My problems are:

                                1) The unusually high billing of Rs.2000 without intimation that I am exceeding my 1 GB plan.
                                2) Under no circumstances I could have exhausted 1 GB. The bill of Rs.5466 with data usage billed at 10P/10Kb itself shows the data usage in the range of 0.5 GB only.
                                3) I was told by customer care that unless I pay Rs.2000, my GPRS service would remain suspended. Neither have I received intimation of 80% usage nor that I have exhausted the entire 1 GB under the plan. How am I supposed to know that my current plan is expired and that its time to buy a new one?
                                4) It is unusual that there is no way customer can check his data usage. I have experienced Vodafone GPRS service a year back and even back then, customer was able to know his exact data usage and balance data left under the plan.

                                Airtel — Billing without usage

                                I have got my bill for the month of sept in that when i came to see the detailed billing i found the GPRS usage amount charged in account from aug 27 to sept 26 daily with a slab of 20 to 30 min for 24 hrs for 30 days even after i have complainted about this usage to the customer care and mailed to them and only i will receive a call sir we can not give you waiver but i said them i do not want waiver you give the detail who this billing has happened with a slab of 20 to 30 min is till today they are not able to give me any answer for this just two days back one person form their office he said the fault is not theirs then i asked him to give me a mail that it is not their fault he asked all my details till today they have not any mail know i am getting my friends help to take the help of telecome ombudsum to give them the entire details of my complaint so that i can find a solution in this regard.

                                Airtel — higher rates of GPRS

                                Airtel has increased the cost of GPRS from 15rs/day to 25rs/day...which is not quite affordable.
                                Apart from that the service is also not too good...it doesn't provide enough speed to match the rate of it.

                                Airtel should reduce the cost of GPRS!

                                AirTel — Billed unusually without using internet

                                Sir,
                                My mobile number [protected] received a bill of Rs.6000 saying Rs.4500 is for mobile internet usage, When I asked how much GB have I downloaded to make this bill, no response. I'm ready to pay for what calls I have made, but definitely not for the un-used internet usage amount.

Recharged Rs.295 on 7th dec. while balance was Rs.69/- and on 17th Dec, aRBITRARILY WITHOUT INFORMING ME AND WITHOUT MY AUTHORISATION the Airtel deducted the balance of Rs.325/- leaving a balance of Rs.39/- In between 7th dec. and 17th dec. my usage was only Re.1. I made complaint on 17th giving details about my usage and the co. reaction was that my recharge of dec is not with them and recharge was made on sept, only While I gave the SMS confn. details of 7th dec. and the usage details, now they inform me that the recharge benefit has been passed on to me but where the balance has gone as I have not used it at all and I wanted them to show me the details of my usage so that I have utilised the balance of Rs.325 in just one day. I would like you to check my previous occasions, that with Rs.295/- recharge I used to use the balance anything between 2 1/2 to 3 months period and within a period of 7 days the same amount in full is ridiculous. Kindly check and give me relief as I am retired and I cannot be made to run behind these big cheaters like airtel.

                                    I bought a 4g connection from Airtel # [protected] after the Airtel sales officer promised me a minimum speed of 15mbps, in July2012. Soon after purchasing and installation of the router, I realised the speed never went above 5-6 mbps. I registered a complaint # 45604183 dated 30.8.12. They sent their technical guys to check the speed onsite and realised my complaint is valid. They made promises after promises for increasing speed , all in vain. They even gave a discount of Rs 562/- in my Nov bill, thus acknowledging the speed is much lower than 4g. On my requesting for similar discount for earlier months, they refused since their "system" cannot pass such discounts. Meanwhile on a email of 30th Nov I wrote " Will some one at Airtel attend to my issue of lower speed, else I have no use of a 4G connection....my broadband is good enough !!" and on the same date Airtel wrote " We wish to inform you that we are in the process of installing a new cell-site in your area, which should come up within the next 02 months. This site will improve the network strength and considerably enable you to enjoy continued services. Kindly bear with us till such time.". Soon after I paid my discounted bill, they notified they have suspended my a/c and obviously there is no connection now.
                                    I wrote back to them since they are unable to provide a 4g speed they should take back the router and refund the cost...and their reply is a no.

                                    Airtel is now a global brand, and has very high expectations from its consumers. I myself have 5 mobile connections in my family and a landline with broadband connection and pay more than Rs10k per month. The least one expects is selling its consumers by making false promises thereby making a few thousand Rs. That goodwill and faith is now lost.

                                    I request the highest authorities at Airtel to take notice and improve their services, meaning speed so I can make use of the router for which I have already invested. Else, please take the router back and return its cost.

                                    BTW, Airtel sells its 4g connection but never ever commits on any document a guaranteed speed. Why has TRAI allowed such a loophole? This loophole in the contract is allowing Airtel to dupe its customers !! Will someone listen and wake up please?

                                    Sandwip, you at least got 5Mbps speed. At my area, I never got more than 1Mbps, moreover average speed is 100kbps with Airtel 4G dongle. Before buying this 4G dongle, Airtel Team promised me they have adequate network coverage at my place and no need to worry further. I used this Airtel 4G dongle for one month and got it disconnected and during this one month I lodged around 8 complaints which yielded no resolution. Airtel Team confirmed me they don't have 3G or 4G coverage at my place. I asked Airtel Team to take back the 4G dongle and provide the refund as I was promised very good speed from Airtel but Airtel is not ready to take back the dongle. Not only that, Airtel is not also ready to waive this one month bill. Now friends be aware of Airtel before you commit to take Airtel 4G service.

                                      I subscribed to the Airtel 4G (USB modem) as soon as it launched in Pune in Nov 2012. I was very happy and expected and was promised a wonderful browsing experience at lightning speeds and great connectivity. Instead what I got was a product that has barely worked for 10 days in the last 8 weeks and a customer service team that is hardly reachable and creates service request numbers when I reach them only to auto-close the requests without any action on the same.



                                      The service was tested by your sales guy and service engineer prior to my buying the product and was told that there is excellent 4G coverage in my area and that connectivity would not be an issue. On the recommendation of the sales rep (Mr. Shekhar) I purchased the 4G USB modem along with a TP-Link 4G Wi-Fi router totaling to Rs. 7500/-. I paid in cash on request since I was told that paying by cheque would delay activation.



                                      The problem started two days after I bought the product with the USB modem not responding and zero connectivity. I tried contacting the customer service helpline @ [protected] and was unable to get anybody to take down a service request. I tried all options on the IVR and everybody who picked up said that the IVR had not been setup for 4G yet and someone would call me back. I was not even given a service request number. After a week I was able to reach someone who told me that somebody had notated my account with the remarks "Customer requested deactivation" and that my account had been disabled. This was when I had paid the first bill sent to me ahead of time. When I contested this, I was told that there was some error and that the account would be reinstated. The same day the service was resumed and worked for a couple of days.



                                      Since then, the device has again stopped working and I have been chasing the customer service helpline ([protected]) and the sales rep @ +91-98602XXXXX but to no avail. Both the devices sit on my desk without any use to me. However I am getting the bills for the service on time. I have been able to get some service request numbers; however they have been auto-closed as before without any resolution. (Complaint #47503115 dated Dec 9 2012, #47541762 dated Dec 11 2012, #47596027 etc.). In the interim I am forced to use a Reliance Netconnect+ USB modem which may not be a 4G but does the simple job of keeping me connected really well!!!



                                      I am clueless on how to proceed further on this and then I get the below email telling me that I am a valued customer and your favorite. I really do not know whether to laugh or cry.



                                      Please tell me how I can return these devices to your office. Looking them lie on my desk without use keeps reminding me of my folly.
