    Hi sir,

    I am using my airtel postpaid connection from more than 3 years.My number is [protected].
    Due to my personal concern I requested them to convert postpaid to prepaid connection on 24th Dec 2012.
    On the same day I cleared all my outstanding as well as unbilled amount.
    I submitted all my documents required to convert.They gave me another sim card for prepaid number.
    After 3 days i.e. 27th december my postpiad sim got disconnected from network.So I inserted my prepaid sim card and there is no network either in postpaid sim or new prepaid sim.
    I was keep on calling customer care and raised my concern.Sometimes they are telling it is still in postpaid connection even though I got a message saying my number converted to prepaid, sometimes they are saying that I have to wait for 7 working days.
    They raised my concern and gave me different reference numbers.

    Till today I did not see my network up.When I called back they are saying request is closed as completed.
    Please resolve my issue.I am planning to go back to different service providers if this issue is not resolved.

      for me they took 3000 RS for advance payment and 1500 rs for monthly

      first month was ok

      second month i asked to shift them they told 3 working day's that's all now it's nearly a month they have not responded so please do not pay in advance

      we want to shift landline from one room to another for this we complaint about that but there is no response so please shift my landline from one room to another.

      Airtel — Shifting of land line

      I am from New delhi. My airtel account no is 13956666 and I have applied for the shifting of my landline cum broadband connection from AIRTEL on 6th November 2010 from the previuos address to my current address. But till date the shifting has not been done yet. I also called so many times on the Airtel customer care. They always assure me about the job done and they always gave me a new reference number. Now every time when I call on the customer care to check the status , Airtel customer care executives always told me that the case is under process and it will not take more then next 1 day.

      I am extremely disappointed about the services that such a reputed company like Airtel. When our bill payments are delayed even for a single day we get 100 of calls but when it comes to refunding our hard earned money there is no sense of responsibility or ethics!

        I am so done with Airtel.the customer care services is a disaster.i am calling 121 to tell them that my blackberry services are not being activated even after sending activation message and all they do is put me on hold and then hang up or ask me to call 7070 where a system generated message tells me that i am not registered and to call 121...it is forming a web with one person shifting his responsibilities to another.Airtel has no code of conduct and i personally feel that Airtel should be banned.people of Airtel customer care center relish harassing the common man and customers because of whom airtel is earning huge profit.Government of India should take a stern action against Airtel Bharti Customer care Center and its staff.

        I write this email as Airtel (Maharashtra Circle) has failed to provide a specific service, which I had subscribed and registered for on the 4th of October . Despite several follow ups, the issue still persist and I am almost on the verge of requesting the renewal of the service (which unfortunately never got activated at all!).

        As mentioned above, on the 4th of October , I had requested the Pre-paid Blackberry Service (Plan 299) to be activated on my 8700 Blackberry handset. The request was registered immediately and the amount was debited instantly. But the service is yet to be activated on my handset! Even as I write this email, I speak to a technical support personnel, who mentions that there is some weird problem with the servers, due to which the device is still not registered on the Airtel server, although the service has been activated !

        Unfortunately, I do not even have a complaint number to provide, as the Technical support personnel mentioned that there is no request ID generated, when a complaint is being reported and is worked upon.

        Note (4-Nov-2009): Inspite of all the escalations there has been no resolution provided to me.
        And to add to this, today Rs.299 more was credited from my pre-paid account to re-activate the Airtel BB services for the next month!

        The customer care executives are not fully exposed to what all the services they provide.
        I have asked how to activate BB Services and they answer about Mobile Office and Airtel Live and diverting me to technical team.
        When I call the technical team they are asking to activate BB services through Customer care people.
        Got the details to activate but am getting a response unable to process try again after 24 hours.
        How many 24 hrs should i wait to get a service for which am going to pay?

        I am using a prepaid Airtel card and a blackberry phone. I send a sms on 121 to activate my black berry services on 11 march 2010 and the service provide also DEDUCTED my 299 balance the same day. the maximum time according to them is 24 hrs an activation of services. i called them on 12th, they said there is a problem is server and they cannot do anything about it. i was given the rural manager ABHA GUPTA'S number, i tried calling her up serve times but she did not answer my phone. i wen to the airtel gallery on 12 march and when called on their 999 helpline from the gallery itself, they assure my BB services will get activated by 15th MARCH 2010 morn and i was told that their executive will call me up and was given the complaint number for the same, which is [protected]. but my black berry services has yet not been activated, so today on 15 MARCH 2010, i call them up again. i was informed again there is nothing much they can do and i will have to wait for maximum 15days. when i asked them to send me a sms on my cell on their behalf assuring that my services will be activated for sure after 10 days they refused. i do not wish to activate my BB services with airtel any more but they have crooked me and deducted my balance, so all i m forced to do is wait. I have been mentally tortured. i feel cheated and mislead.

        Hi,

        I'm Kaarthikeyan, using airtel blackberry services thru airtel prepaid ([protected]) for a while. My Blackberry services ceased to work from 20-Mar-11, and I've been contacting airtel customer care every now and then, but there is lack of proper response. Its almost two days now, and the customer care is not approachable at all, I hear the computer voice asking for some nonsense passwords just to ignore the callers. Before this issue the calls will be attended even before it rings. I'm planning to migrate to some other service provider soon due to this sheer lack of response. I've now lost two days of my blackberry services validity which I'm not gonna get back again. No more airtel.
        Airtel Blackberry services are pathetic ,awefull. I really regret taking this service from airtel . People in the customer service are not properly trained and they even do not have proper info .

        I am a blackberry customer . I called up the customer care to see if I could use my device with my laptop also . No one was actually able to give me the proper info . One of the customer care rep said it was possible . One of them said it was not possible , and the problem is when ever they see that the issue cannot be resolved they just disconnect the phone . The reps I interacted to were Ashita and Sharmistha . They should be immediately retrained or people like me will leave airtell and start with some other service provider . And not to mention they do not even know how to talk properly . They were enough rude to me as if they were doing some facvor to me or something . Is this the way a customer is treated ?

          hi this is piyush this side..I have been getting calls from them regarding the payment for broadband.I told thier representatives so many times ( 100 times to be precise) that i have the company and i am not part of the company.
          Still those are calling me again again and again.And top of that they are giving miss calls at regular interval which is so annoying. I look forward to take legal action agains them.There Representaive are pathetic and dont know how to make business calls and to whome.
          Have given them the right contact too and but i failed to understand why they are reapting the same mistake again again and again.Feel liek hitting them too..

            I am an advocate in profession,

            I was a satisfied airtel postpaid customer since last 6 months till I activated an internet pack.
            My plan is 249 corporate and I activated Rs 98 internet One GB pack.
            I got bill amount of 1400.
            I utilized only less than half GB and for 21 days
            I used to get some SMS from Airtel that , I activated some service packs , actually I didn't activated any kind of service packs (I am also MSc in Information Technology graduate) I will produce my mobile for any kind of check, I made 3 complaints, I got a answer that the amount will be wavered once the bill generated, but the incident repeating, then I requested to discontinue the pack . I changed the sim to a normal mobile to avoid any further internet usage.

            Note: the cancelled date is wrong it was 11th Dec 2012( I have SMS with me to prove), bill also showing the internet usage till 11th Dec 2012.

            I contacted Customer care, they told me that they will waiver the amount for value added services (Rs 415).
            but I have to pay remaining amount including 513.8 which don’t have details in the bill. customer care explained me that amount for internet usage.
            After deactivation I didn't used internet, from the bill it showing, I didn't crossed the allowed data( one GB for one month , but utilized less than(489 MB) half GB for 21 days )
            I called 3 times again to get rectify the issue, i got a information that , they will call me back within 4 hours, i didn't received any calls.
            I mailed to the following nodal officer for any help.

            but i didn't received any reply.

            There is no response from the customer care to solve the issue,
            Why should I pay an amount which I didn't utilize?

            Airtel Postpaid — Incorrect billing!

            Hello sir/madam

            I had airtel postpaid connection.
            This connection i on my sister name "Avantika ukey' but used by me.
            On 11-09-07 i activated powerpack (for gprs) from an airtel gallery
            For this i paid 400 to gallery employee and she give me the receipt.
            And they told me in powerpack 3 monthy gprs is free.
            But problem is that The gprs monthly rent is included in my bill.
            In month -03/10/07 i got waver of 292 in bill.
            But in 03/11/07 i have same problem again the gprs monthly rent is included in my bill
            This time they dose not give me the waver on my bil.
            I paid extra 350/- in bill

            please help me & give me waver on bill.

            but after one month again I recievd Rs 5000 outstanding due .

            again Ihave given complaint to airtel but no proper responsible not recievd .my all offical call disterbed due to the connection block

            Airtel — Wrong billing/Connection not yet disconnected

            Dear Sir/Madam,

            I have recently shifted from Hyderabad and was having airtel mobile connection there (no.[protected]; A/c no.[protected]. On 10.11.2008, at NOIDA- Sector-12 Airtel outlet I had paid the dues Rs. 716.00 (as confirmed by the customer care) and also requested for disconnecting my connection. In two-three days I got a call from the customer care executive regarding confirmation of disconnection. But now as per my usual billing cycle I have received the bill for Dec.'08, which is surprising.

            Will someone look into and help me in getting the billing stopped permanently for the above connection?

            Airtel Postpaid mobile connection — WRONG BILLING

            I have been requesting Airtel since November to correct the wrong bill and regenerate fresh bill, but I receive no response at all. Every day one new person speak to me about the issue, I have to explain daily the story to them. After listening to the issue they say they will do something, but do nothing. This is going on for the last three months. They are only wasting daily 1-2 hours of my office time rather than solving the issue. I have sent complaint e-mails also. Today they have stopped my outgoing. If something can be done on this issue, I would be very happy. If Airtel does not want to cooperate with me I am ready to cancel my connection after solving this issue. Kindly help me in this matter. Thank you.

            Mobile airtel connection billing — Wrong billing

            Because of poor coverage area all the call drops with in the billing tariff of one minute especially on STD and ISD are being charged in Full, inspite of frequent complaint no developments found till date my first complaint was launched in the month of March last year and no solution or deduction in the bills are found, hence i finally gave a written complaint in Hyderabad begumpet airtel office and stopped paying last two month bill, i am not going to clear any bills till the old bills are collected

            THIS BAD COMPANY IS SENDINS ME BILLS EVEN AFTER DISCONNECTION.

            Airtel Postpaid Connection — Wrong Billing and Disconnect

            I have (had ?) Airtel post-paid service from June[protected] and had no problems till July 2010. From the end-July bill the CUG was not applied. When I call customer service they take a few days and calculate the bill and ask me to pay a corrected amount - without fixing the problem of CUG adjustment with the bill.

            Last month a couple of one time charges were added to my bill (900 + 520) when my usual monthly bill is around Rs.700 (incl taxes). I was so disappointed and asked to disconnect my service. I was told somebody will talk with me before disconnecting and I will be given a date of disconnection (11/Nov). Without notifying anything (Airtel doesn't forget to send repeated SMS for higher call/SMS rates during festivals) my SIM was disconnected on 5/Nov/2010. The customer service reps are no help when I asked for 1 week additional service to make other arrangements.

            This is the level of service from a so-called blue-chip premier company. The pathetic customer service reps are disappointing and have a standard "we can do nothing sir, you asked for disconnecting". Looks like Airtel does NOT want to RETAIN CUSTOMERS and has NO WISH to have RETURNING CUSTOMERS even if they WANT TO.

            I wish there is a way to make Airtel pay a punitive fine for such stupid service we are forced to endure.

            AirTel — wrong billing, disconnect my connection

            i am a customer of airtell broad band ?(plan 749-one air tell) my id is [protected] .i have been billed with rs 2600 as broadband useage charges.sir as my bill should not be more than rs 500 because i have allready paid rs 500 as an advanced usage charges and i only use it for browsing purposes not for any downloading.so kindly dissconnect my connection as soon as poosible.nor i m going to pay this hefty amount.

            today i recharged my cell phone numbered [protected], by 98rs, according to your website http://www.airtel.in/BestValue-Offers/Mobile_Internet.html i should get 2GB of data but i got only 1GB.
            Since one week i am trying to rectify issue, the agents took the call and he used to tell (7 times happened), manager will call me back.
            yesterdays i stub-burned to give directly, i told the grieves, she disconnected the call.

                today at 8.03 pm i got miss call from [protected] claiming for 25 lakhs rs lottry when i suspects the disconnected and call from +121 but again i show doubt and did some quarries the disconnects ...wot i do fo this weather i go to make any FIR?

                    I am not using this number since last 6 months as I shifted to other place, still I am keep receving the internet bill.
                    Every month I call Airtel that I don;t have connection anymore that then redeem the amount, but this keep happening

                    Again, I received bill of around 1151 Rs and still I don't have airtel connection, I got a call from your executive that amount will be waived off, I asked them to reply on mail, however you guys are not confirming on mail, number of times I called for cancellation and I got SR number for the same

                    And every time I asked for the confirmation on mail, that my number has been cancelled and I don't have any outstanding amount, however you guys are not replying me on mail.

                    I don't understand, what is stopping you to confirm on mail though number of times I asked you, is it because again next month you send me new bill and give excuse that my number is not cancelled and asking me for proof ?

                        As a responsible citizen of India i would like to raise a concern on fake calling from Pakistan (+92) country. Since yesterday i received 4-5 times missed call from below number:

                        1) [protected] at 4:12PM on 31 dec 2012
                        2) [protected] at 10:39am on 1 Jan 2013
                        3) [protected] at 11:31am on 1 Jan 2013
                        4) [protected] at 11:41am on 1 Jan 2013
                        5) [protected] at 11:42am on 1 Jan 2013

                        I unfortunately called at this num to inquire who is giving my missed calls. They ppl told you have got Rs 25lakhs of Lottery from airtel. They gave me some number 89910 (which i feel will be use number who responded back to their missed calls). The talk went for 1min 30 sec when i cut the call.

                        I'm concerned if they would have tracked my mobile phone IMEI num which they can utilize for some other purpose.

                        I request you to please take this seriously and barr this number from entering India. This can cause our nation a big cause.

                        Note: I'm not mentioning my mb num here coz i dont want to be a victim of fake calls. But pls let me know if you want my num to be mention here.

                          I bought Airtel DTH connection on 22nd on Dec 2012 at around 1100 IST and due to already connections available in my society i had to cancel this connection.

                          I contacted the Airtel DTH customer care and reported them about the cancellation on my connection on 22nd Dec 2012 at 1700 IST. It was confirmed to me that the connection can be cancelled and the refund will be made in 5-8 days.

                          but since then i am unable to get through to the customer care that can assist me on this. I called them atleast 15-20 times and i was always told that they will transfer the call to some senior and was always kept on waiting for more than 15 mins or so.

                          Dear Sir/Madam,

                          I was using Airtel prepaid card since last August. But last week Airtel network bared my no due to address proof. So, i was make a call to Airtel Customer care then they verified my address and they told your no was unbared within an hour. After 4 to 5 hours my no was not unbared.

                          Then i sent a mail to customer care id ( [protected]@in.airtel.com ) after they given reply on my mail that you need to submit Address proof and also they given the airtel relationship centre address, You can find the address below,

                          No.27, Mahadevapura Post, Whitefield Road, (opp.Bimal Maruthi Auto Agency ) Bangalore - 560048

                          So, i went the above address as on (27 - Apr ) by 7.45 Pm and i explained very clearly about my problem to them but they dint give any proper response and guidance to me and they was make call to airtel customer care and verified the same ( address).

                          Then next day also i dint get any solution on my problem So, i was again make a call to customer care then they unbarred my no. So, i decided to my problem was solved.

                          After 7 days they simply canceled my no. Now, Airtel customer care was telling that your no was canceled and we cant do anything for you.

                          So, Please help me to solve my problem.

                          I am feeling very bad in your customer service because i got call from your technical team on last week as on 13/5/2011 and she told me that I will get a duplicate SIM for the no. [protected].

                          With that reference i went to airtel relationship center on the same day and i got a duplicate SIM. Please find the duplicate SIM no. below, which has not activated yet.

                          I was waiting for my SIM activation for 2 days and I didn't find any changes in my number. So, I called again to Airtel Technical Team informed the same. As your technical person told that, my number will be activated with in 24hrs.

                          But my number was not activated. So, again I made a call to your technical person as on 19/5/2011 and again the same thing she also repeated me that it will be activated with in 24 hrs. But after that it's already been 3days. I don't know whether your technical team is playing with me or really they can solve my issue. So, finally I want to know, why my number is not getting activate? If there is any problem from your end or my end or if my number can't be activated, let me know ASAP. So, I can take further action on the same.

                          As a single SIM issue, your technical persons are not able to rectify still. So, It shows that, airtel is providing very very poor customer service.

                          Please call me for further clarification.

                            Hi,
                            Myself Mittal chheda using Airtel network for my mobile.
                            I have recharged recently -25 days back with 575 Rs to get corresponding talktime of 650.
                            I was in impression of the same refilling rules which we used to get earlier.(No restriction on specific validity and same balance use for calls,SMS,Internet)
                            But now got to know that above refilling is valid for only calls and not for any other purpose(SMS,Internet Pack etc.),and that is also valid for 30 days.my 575 ruppes go in vain without any use.
                            Why network provider has not informed or made awareness among customers about changes in such rules.
                            They have indirectly cheated customer.We just cant take it this way

                            even many times they just start any value added service without taking permission of customers on the mobile and cut the balance without knowledge of customer.
                            This happened many times with me.I am sure it must have happened with many such customers.

                            Need appropriate action on above matters.

                              I am Amit Kumar, I was airtel customer from the past two years, but unfortunately due to my personnel issues I did not made the payment of my postpaid mobile [protected] of Rs3705/- only. I am currently out of the Bangalore. When I analyzed the bill it seems unclear to me as I didn't enjoyed any Internet packs services as my Sim card was also not inserted in my handset. So, I shoot a mail to airtel for which I got an automated reply that my concern will be addressed soon.

                              Meantime, the airtel collection people was calling me and i told the same thing to them and I want to quit airtel services after clearing all my dues, but they didn't understood and after that they started using abusing words, I too abused them and in return airtel called my people back home and abused my family also. This is unacceptable, I am very much interested to meet that collection executive personally as I will let that guy go easily..

                              Now, as I didn't got any reply from airtel side I am writing to you because I want an explanation. I have cleared my all dues with airtel.

                              I have that collection people numbers also, so I am coming to Bangalore soon and I will for sure fill a complaint or even I will contact my legal advisor regarding this issue.

                                  I had subscribed to these 2 airtel postpaid numbers [protected] and [protected]. Airtel has inflated the bills and are now demanding the payment which is fraudulent, extortive and illegal. I have been receiving threatening and abususive calls from [protected] and [protected] purporting to be airtel "agents". The recordings of these numerous calls are saved and available for perusal.
                                  The "ladies" calling from the above mentioned numbers are abusive and have used derogatory language in demanding monies which are not due to barti airtel lawfully. Co-ercive language and derogatory terms were expressed, which have been recorded, and will be presented to the necessary courts.

                                  I implore that this extortion, blackmail and de-famation is stopped immediately, and my plea be heard as and when the honourable court decides.

After waiting for few months, i sent mail to the concerned team and called customer care to check my refund status. After few compliants, i was informed that the amount is sent through blue courier to old address and it was received by someone. I registered complaint again but no reply and no status. Airtel guys cheating customers by not refunding their amount. They know adding interest and cheating but they dont think about customer. My details are below. Please help me in getting my money back.

                                    Airtel - DTH — Refund not received

                                    i had recharged my Airtel DTH id [protected] with INR 1000 on 22nd Dec'2010 through my HDFC Bank netbanking account. However, the DTH account was recharged with only INR 500 and the remaining 500 has not been refunded to me till date.
                                    My account was recharged with 500 on 7th Feb'2011( without any payment from my side) and the same was reversed again on 14th Feb'2011. This has left me wondering where have my INR 500 gone. Airtel has been investigating this for the last 2 months but they have not been able to come up with any explanation for this. Request help in procuring my refund.

                                    * As per the attachement my account was recharged on 7th Feb and reversed on 14th without any payment from my side. This transaction id is the same as the one generated during my payment. Pls refer the other attachment.

                                    Till February-2001, I had AirTel postpaid connection. on 02/02/2011, I had paid excessive amount to the AirTel Postpaid bill.

                                    Advance payment of Rs, 1048/- was paid on 02.02.2011 by Receipt No.[protected] at AirTel Ashram road, Ahmedabad office. After I get one SMS from your Account department "Your Airtel Mobile Bill dated 12-Feb-2011 for Rs.-805.03 has been generated. it will reach you by 24-Feb-2011. Due Date:03-March-2011." on feb-2011. But till today I have not got any payment from AirTel India. So Please help me in recovering the amount.

                                    Please note that I have not received amount yet. I didn't receive any call or letter for the same.

                                    As you are saying that, is has been resolved, but I don't have any update or the refund money with me.
                                    Kindly look into this matter and let me what is the status.

                                        Hi, my name is Nitika agrawal, I have a airtel DTH TV connection ID no [protected] , in same ID no i have 2 connections last thursday i had a complaint that its not working & showing error code 2, next day engg visited and just cleaned its card & my cable got working for that he told me that service charge is 120 rs , I asked him for the invoice or to give me any bill but he deniyed & told we dnt give any bill, other then that i told him that my remote is als not working properly he told me that i have to buy a new remote because old is now useless , then yesterday on sunday he given me a new remote that of RS250 , today on 31.12.2012 i received confirmation call from AIRTEL: DTH TV that my complaint is resolved or not ..i told him this all story & he told me that remote price is 200RS not 250 RS , & engg has not given invoice that means that amt was kept by engg & not submitted to company........i have a request from you to pls pay back my money because for such a small company how can a company can charge RS120 & also not given any invoice & of remote engg has taken RS250 from me...pls pay back my amount as its noy a fair deal to customer...this is non genuine charges by comp engg's pls resolve my complaint as soon as possible ..
