Hi,
I am Sai. I am using air tel postpaid plan. Two months back i.e in April They changed my account number of bill payment with out any request from my side. And Then for The duration of 20th April to 1st may They charged The bill on daily basis. I have two Value added services (Internet pack & Message offer) with monthly rentals of Rs 99 and Rs 98. But in The bill They are asking me to pay complete charges of This two value added services in That duration, which is usually I pay monthly. But here They are charging This amount just for The duration of 10 days. And I paid These charges in The May bill and again They added These amount as one time charge in The bill of June and asking me to pay which I have to pay two times. This happened not only for me. Who are using air tel postpaid plans ( I am saying in The case people who are just around me) They are also paying extra amount like This. So could you please tell me is This cheating or not and suggest me with possible solution.

Airtel — cheating bills

i was alloted a number [protected].i feel it disgusting to use this airtel service
iam getting a regular false bills from the past three months regarding "airtel live music on demand" ,without my subscription to it.
to prove it ,i was using nokia 1100 model phone which is not compatible to it .i have complained many times for which i was given a waiver of 60 rs on jan 2nd. again the same problem is repeated and i was charged 30 rs unnecessarily for which there was no reply for my questions raised at 121
ihope to reply as soon as possible and grant 30rs waiver
I AM CANCEL MY NUMBER AND THEY CONFIRMED AND NOT CANCELLED MY NUMBER AFTER CONFIRM PLEASE HELP ME

    I have bought an Airtel Digital connection for my TV on 21/06/2012 from Great Eastern Trading Co. (Baguihati, Kolkata), Order No. 2114979, VAT No. [protected], Tax Cash Memo No :19/1213/02755 . The Airtel personnel came and installed the dish and set-top box and they got full payment but there is no signal from the set-top box. I called them repeatedly and they told me that they will come my home and fix the problem but no one came. For the last two days they also not receiving my phone call. when I am trying to connect customer care help line of Airtel, it's not connecting and no one is answering. After the installation of the set-top box I got no signal ever. I bought this from a TV shop but they are not taking any responsibility because it's the matter of Airtel company.

      writing to Airtel on 27/06/2012 and talking to them have resulted nothing. they have not done any thing regarding pending conversion of my mobile no. [protected] from prepaid to postpaid since June 08, 2012. urgent action is pending from their side. if they are not able to provide the postpaid services on my mobile no. [protected] then please revert my money deposited for post paid account. u r serives are totaly frustrating. u all are simply cheating me. Airtel custumer care will simply give some ref. no. and ask for 72 hours for action. nothing has been done.

      GUYS VISIT OFFICES IN THE NAME OF EXECUTIVES AND CHEAT US. THEY COME EITHER AS AIRTEL EXECUTIVE TAKE MONEY FOR ACTIVATION AND NEVER TURN UP.PLS NOTE THIS. I GOT CHEATED FOR RUPEES 400.       Sir,
      The AIRTEL company had cheated me by giving one type of assurance at the time of buying the airtel bundle phone, but now the assurance is neglected. Here dont spend ur money with airtell
      in Tamilnadu.
      Sir, My mobile no. [protected] an Airtel prepaid connection.
      Many a times my balance gets automatically deducted and while talking to the customer service I get response like I had requested for a particular services (VAS) or for caller tunes etc which infact I had not. After lot of arguments with the customer care executive they refund my deducted amount. But this kind of activity is regualarly noticed. Yesterday again they deducted my balance saying that I had used Internet from my mobile which I had never tried and after complaining to the customer services the response they had given to me was now you will not get your money refund go and complaint where ever you want.
      Airtel has found a very cheap way to make money, They might be making money cheating their customer but really degrading their name in the industry.
      Viewers never go for AIRTEL Services. They are big cheat.

      well i am your old airtel costumer of panipat but still i am facing problem from airtel and even your officers for costumer care is not solving my problem



      i have no [protected] which is 3 or 4 year old number and last month your airtel costumer care officers has been activated some NOP servicesin my this number without getting any request message from my side and after 15 days they deducted 70 /- Rs from my account that time my sister has calleed and request for deaactivation and refund of my balanace but they refused and even my father has tried no action has been taken



      well yesterday it again happened and when i tried to call your costumer care first time they assured me that i will get my balance refund in 4 hours but after 4 hours when i called SOME OFFICER named mr Neeraj refused me directly and when i said i will take action they talk rudely



      This is not a case of 140 Rs but what services you all providing your officers in costumer care dont know how to talk and this is completely cheating with costumers that in end we are only the suferers



      I HOPE YOU WILL SEE THIS CASE AND TAKE APROPIATE ACTION OTHERWISE IT WILL MAKE ME FORCE TO TAKE FURTHER ACTION
      Under my company, I have 5 connections from Airtel. Due to some wrong information provided by the airtel agencies to airtel, Airtel has generated the wrong bills. I paid according to proper amount but 1 of my phone got disconnected by Airtel. Also on my personal number outgoing to customer care barred by them. I have sent many emails to different rank people. Have spoke to customer care many times but no body is bothered. I am feeling cheated with a bunch of people in Airtel.

      This is regarding extremely poor sevices provided by AIRTEL.customer care executives.I went at thier company showroom in Mayur Vihar phase 1 New D elhi to gather info about validity and top up schemes.The customer care executive didnot give me details about all offers and overcharged me by 100 rs. I believed what she told me and got my mom's number [protected] rechargedby rs 295 to get a lifetime validity offer on 14-07-08. later i got a msg from airtel saying that the same offer was available at rs 196 till 15-07-08. I got back to her to enquire about this...and this ridiculous female tells me that I should have told her about the offer...i mean how rubbish is that ??was it me to tell what schemes company is offering??
      I dont care about the money...but i am feeling cheated and humiliated.This is a BIG LET DOWN on part of AIRTEL...really hopeless incident...ALL POOR AIRTEL CUSTOMERS PLZ STAY ALERT FROM BEING DUPED BY THESE PATHETIC SO CALLED CUSTOMER CARE ""

      Sir, i recharged with 97 bosster pack on 18 th september. But the airtel persons are saying that i have recharged with 55 rupees booster. They are completely cheating me. Plz get me a justice.

      Airtel is the biggest cheater of all...today i got a sms from airtel that hello tune service is subscribed on my number although i didn't subscribe and they charged me money for a service which i didn't want and which i didnt subscribe. when i called up customer care service, the person there didnt know how to deal with the customer. Airtel charged me rs. 40 by cheating. I have been using Airtel prepaid connection since last 5 years but they've really started humiliating and harrasing their customers.

I want to ask how can you do this without informing me, u have no right to deduct or add any thing without informing me.This is not happen for the first time and neither i got good response from your customer care. Is this the facility giving to the customer.

      I AM USING AIRTEL PRE-PAID SERVICES. WHAT THE COMPANY IS DOING IS, THEY ARE ACTIVATING THEIR SERVCES WITHOUT MY CONSENT AND THEY ARE DEDUCTING THE SERVICE CHARGES REGULARYLY. FIRST THE COMPANY ACTIVATED BOL-BOL SCHEME AND

      i had bought a sim card from airtel they gave me a ten digit fancy number then only i accept to buy that airtel postpaid connection. they asked me to pay Rs.300/- for new connection and i paid it, they were finished all formalities and they gave me that sim card what they assured(fancy number). the next day they told me that, the number was released to others so i give you other number. and i accept those request but still they are not change the number and they not give me any response for that, this is very bad process
      hi..ds is payal from jalandhar.m using airtel connection past 6-7 yrs.in my postpaid number gprs 299 plan is activated, from past 5 months .i have been charged rs1500 .i had nvr asked for ds service, but it is activated.it is no use of mine.i called up customer care, but no response, m fed up of these kind of cheats .this was happen to me alott of tym .need a help .i want discount in my bll of rs 1500.

      REF: To ur Letter dated 6th May 2009 Ref No : 13182554

      Dear SIR.

      I was in receipt of your above mentioned letter where in you have so kindly written in you have so kindly written your stereo-type blaa – blaa – blaa to make me understand that I owe you an amount of Rs 5207 on my Id . No 13182554, Tel Ph. No. [protected].
      I would hereby wish to bring to your kind notice the actual antecedents of the matter and my grievance for which the said amount had been intentionally with held by me.

      The facts of the unfortunate episode are as under:

      That I, Mukesh Kumar Bhalla have the above connection since the last 2 year approximately under the Rs 299 plan and my payments for the bills generated on this number have never deferred.

      That on the 24th - 27th of February, a kind hearted & a very caring gentleman from your respectful organization contacted me over the telephone to acknowledge me that my data usage was exceeding the free limit every time and that I should better opt for your Rs 699 plan so as to avail free data usage services on this number .

      That after understanding the benefits of this plan, I decided to opt for the same and on his request agreed to the activation of the said plan.

      That, when I got a confirmation from him, that the request had been forwarded for the activation of the said plan, I asked that noble soul as to when would the plan be active?

      That the said gentleman told me that it would be active on the 5th of March i.e. from the date by billing cycle.

      That, since 5th March, I used your data services right & left only to find out in my next bill that I had been billed for Rs 5207 as date usage charges and simultaneously Rs. 700 as date usage charges in the next bill, an amount totaling to Rs 3900 respectively, for which I registered my concern two times and finally withheld my payment.

      That then started your process of firstly, disconnecting my no. and then gentleman and ladies form all odds in your organization trying to resolve the matter and make me pay the bills.

      That finally a sweet gentlemen by the name of vishal mittal posing to be from your organization walked up to my office with a letter in his hand saying that I was given a discount of 50% on my bills which were Rs. 5700/- at that time, as a trial to resolve my matter and to maintain a relationship.

      That, and if at all you people agreed to your mistake and discounted my bill, then it shows that this may not have been done for the first bill and if these kind of mistakes are committed very often in your accounting solutions, then it means that it is a fraudulent practice.

      That, I would wish to advice you that a fraudulent practice is a malafide intention punishable under IPC section 420 and not a valued customer whom you write to, the that you have written to me.

      Nevertheless I paid a sum of rs .2870 to shri vishal mittal vide receipt no.1877305 dt: 15/05/09 who was also carrying a letter dt: 15/05/09 ref no. may’09 / haresh anand /vs/187 who corrected the matter of the letter and said that the connection would be activated the same day.

      The need to correct the letter arose when the matter said that it was full & final payment to close the connection whereas I wanted to continue with the connection.
      Now my office accepted the corrected letter because he requested me that he would have to travel all the way back to okhla and in any case the phone would just be active and all this would be a wage exercise.

      He also collected an amount of rs 500/ in cash from my office as he said that it is to be submitted in cash for my request to shift the connection to another address (8a/20 wea, karol bagh, new delhi 110005.)so that it could be done instantly, for which he did not issue a receipt as it was supposed to be issued by some other dept.

      NOTHING HAPPENED AFTER THAT TILL DATE.

      I tried to inquire about mr. vishal mittal who never came on line after collecting the money and is not from airtel.

      It latter came to my knowledge that it was some mr rajender (his associate)who corrected the letter as I was not physically present at my office when he collected the money.

      IREGISTERED MY CONCERN NOD : 19910302 IN THIS REGARD WITH THE HELPLINE BUT AGAIN THE SAME THING, NOTHING HAPPENED AFTER THAT TILL DATE.

      Therefore, I hear by request you to kindly look into the matter and activate my phone at the earliest, failing which I would have no other option left but to approach the TRAI & the consumer disputes redressal forum for justice, mental agony defamation and claim the losses from you occurred due to the negligence of yr people and disconnection of my telephone line.

      Hello this is shahid khan i am using a airtel number from last 3 month's, after activating my GPRS 25 rupees unlimited pack, I found the airltel company is a cheater and a fraud, The company debit rupees 25 daily from my account but after charging rupees 25 for my unlimited GPRS pack they also charge me 30paise for per 50kb, i have complaint 10 time in airtel gallary but the only answer is we can't help you sorry sir. I have called airtel costumer care minimum 50 times and given complaint but all the time answer is that the problem will solve in 4hours. I have been charged 300 to 400 from last 11/06/2009 till now and now i am fedup from all this if any one can help out.

      Cheaters & Fraud
      It is very sad to write complain against company like Airtel. Last Saturday on 13th one executive Mr Karan Kapoor pune([protected]) visited my home with new Postpaid offer. They have taken 530 Rs in advance and given a SIM(sim nuber[protected]/imsi [protected]). He has confirmed that number will be activated in 48Hr. Since Monday I am daily following with the executive and he is giving me false commitment every time. After several follow-up I asked for my money back. again he has given me false commitment and since today evening he is not receiving my phone.

      I am already having one number of Airtel and Airtel digital TV at my home and having faith in company. Please arrange activate my SIM or back the money otherwise I have no choice other than complain in consumer forum or in media.

      This is to bring to your kind notice that Airtel which professes to be the Best Service Providers in the Country are actually the biggest cheaters in the country...to prove this again please see mail forwarded mail below dated 2nd August and special attn to highlighted matter too..

      Again to top there continous efforts in cheating us, Airtel has gone and Debarred outgoing calls on the Mentioned Number from 20th August inspite of having told them hundreds of times that the amount of Rs 10000/- they claim unpaid is already paid and mail to the same has been sent to them and the same has been referred to them too. I have tried to convince them that the Payment has been made at thier Airtel Gallery in Santacruz and the Bill Number too has been forwarded yet these people just dont wish to see reason and have asked me to go thier gallery at Santacruz. Is it not the duty of Airtel to confirm details at thier self appointed galleries and do they have a right to harass us so.

      Again to day i have been to thier relationshiop centre at Santacruz and spoken to the Supervsior Sunil there and he called up some Number from the Hotline 888 and Spoke to Ashok who after some deliberations with Sunil finally Agreed that then payment has been recd and the Outgoing would be activated in the next 4 Hrs. This was confirmed by Mr Sunil too. After this between 3:30and 4:00 I have spoken to Anjali and Bakan and Tanveer and Adam and to each of them i explained my predicament and these people said the matter would be rectified shortly and the outgoing activated.

      Its now nearly 4 hrs since my last discussion but these poeple at Airtel are thick Skinned and Deliberately out to cheat us common men. Thier best way to harass us is to keep sending us to this and that galleries and refuse to listen to reason. In this case i request your immediate your attn and demand harshest penalty for the Company and Demand Immediate Cancellation of My Money Rs 10500/- and Rs 1 Lac in Penalty for Causing Loss of Goodwill and Mental Agony. Dear Sir Pls take this on priority and take strict action against them for default in services.

      I shall also exercise my rights to bring the matter to the Notice of the General Media through Mass media and all other available channels of communication . Copy fo the Mails sent to MIdday and Other Newspaper and Tv Channels for highlighting the inefficiency and deliberate harassment to end consumers.

      Also am willing to donate a few rupees in charity to Airtel if they are cash strapped but please ask them not to cheat us common men who pay from thier hard earned money and not by cheating people like us.

      Dear Sir / Madam

      This is to bring to your kind and urgent notice that services of Airtel are getting worse day by day and taking customers for a ride .
      Inspite of repeated complaints and reminders the people at airtel seem least bothered about taking notice of regular complaints and instead choose to ignore them as per thier convenience .

      I had requested a change in bill plan somewhere around 5th of July to DAP400 and they said they would do the needful from the coming bill cycle of 26th July onwards. Again i tried to contact them but they said there was some problems with them and they were undergoing maintainence till few days . Again on 14th July when i called and requested for the same, the concerned executive informed me that the request was taken and the needful would be done from the 27th of July as per the billiing cycle . I had got the reference number[protected]
      for the same .

      Now yesterday when i called to confirm Shweta the executive told me that they were sorry but no such request is thier with them. This is very disgusting and totally unreliable . This is taking us for granted and i strongly suggest they stop making claims of being the best provider in the country. If i were to be asked Airtle is one of the worst service providers in the country lately and they can only get worse.

      Another instance is recently i purchased a new premium connection of Airtel ([protected]) from their galley at Santacruz on 02/07/09 and paid Rs10000/- as premium number via my credit card and have recd bill NO 276858 for the same. But i was shocked to receive the bill for the same amounting to Rs10000/- plus which is really shocking and when i call the customer care they say go to the ARC at santacruz and check out the problem with them. If this is not unprofessional and actually trying to cheat then what it is. If i had paid cash and lost my BILL ETC i am sure these cheaters would definitley not accept anything.

      There are many more instances for which i dont have time to explain as they can actually see form their log about my complaints. I wish to inform the concerned authorities at AIrtel that i shall be taking this matter to the media with all proof and the mailers sent to them over the last few months and also i shall explore legal action against these company AIRTEL which is out and out trying to cheat the customers.

      This mailer is specifically for the company and the Authorities at TRAI .Hard copy fo the same being sent o the dept of Telecommunications for further Action anad consumer courts and all blogs avaialble on the inernet .

      I really feel that Airtel shoukld be banned immediatley from proclaiming to be the best service providers in the country . They suck like anything and should be treated worse than dogs. I wish they were banned from providing services anymore and would like to know if there is any legal provision to take them to court for cheating deliberately.

      i havent activated any sub packs from airtel but i frequently get charged rs.10 saying that"you have been renewed for cricket subscription pack from airtel" from the no.54321
      i had been told by the local dealer " for Rs. 49 recharge 100 SMS-s which include local and national SMS-s for 30 days". after i was recharged by Rs. 49/- i was sent only 24 SMS-s which include local and national SMS-s and after that they started charging for my SMS. then i want to speak with the airtel customer care executives there is no response. i have been frustrated by the service of airtel.
      I activated international roaming on my airtel sim before flying to Mauritius.While activating the international roaming facility, I requested them to provide me the billing rates for Mauritius. I have advised to visit the airtel website for the same.
      While I checked the rates : Call back to India using Emtel (Local Network - Mauritius) was at Rs 34.49/34.99 per minute.With these rates in mind, I made few calls to India. On the second day of my arrival, I received an sms saying the outstanding was Rs 18000 plus. I was shocked and when I went through my mobile log..the billed amount and usage didnt add up. On my return to India, I requested
      Airtel to provide me the details, which they immediately denied. I was asked to wait till the billing cycle would be over...which was 27 days away..However they wanted me to pay Rs 18000 immediately ..without providing me the details of my usage...2 days later my outgoing was barred and few days later the connection was suspended..without any prior intimation....all this happen while the monthly bill was yet to be generated and I had paid all my previous bill...Finally when I received the bill, I was shocked to seethe per minute charges applied were close to Rs 115 against the Rs 34.49 displayed on the website...Airtel cheated me....I immediately wrote to airtel to explain and they have been sleeping over the matter ever since....Its been 15 days and no response and now I am constantly being harrased by Airtel's Collection agents to pay the outstanding amount..

On the second day of my arrival, I received an sms saying the outstanding was Rs 18000 plus. I was shocked and when I went through my mobile log..the billed amount and usage didnt add up. On my return to India, I requested
      Airtel to provide me the details, which they immediately denied. I was asked to wait till the billing cycle would be over...which was 27 days away..However they wanted me to pay Rs 18000 immediately ..without providing me the details of my usage...2 days later my outgoing was barred and few days later the connection was suspended..without any prior intimation....all this happen while the monthly bill was yet to be generated and I had paid all my previous bill...Finally when I received the bill, I was shocked to seethe per minute charges applied were close to Rs 115 against the Rs 34.49 displayed on the website...Airtel cheated me....I immediately wrote to airtel to explain and they have been sleeping over the matter ever since....Its been 15 days and no response and now I am constantly being harrased by Airtel's Collection agents to pay the outstanding amount..
      AIRTEL is cheating customers so badly.
      On my visit to India I realized that Airtel is lying to their customers on 121 and especially at their retail outlets. They promise something else and give you something else. Customer has no proof of what they were promised.

". I was surprised since I never requested for this service nor any body from airtel never-ever took my consent for this service. I contacted customer service at 121 and brought this cheating to their knowledge on 21st April 2010. I got a confirmation on my cell at 11:29:56 on[protected] that " your service has been deactivated successfully ...". I was told on 20th April itself by the customer care that I wll receive a message at 3PM, but unfortunately that 3PM never happened till 24th April 6:16PM, DESPITE subsequent reminders also on daily basis. In response to my reminder, I was adviced through a message on[protected] at 19:43:18 that my request reference no.is [protected].

      Please note that airtel has caused me a lot of harassment and till this moment I have not been credited back with the amount unduly and unauthorisedly charged. PLEASE ENSURE THAT MY ACCOUNT IS CREDITED FORTHWITH WITH THE DEDUCTED MONEY, AND DISCONTINUE THIS PRACTICE OF CHEATING.

      I have Airtel prepaid card and wanted to recharge I received SMS from Airtel use RC 175 and get full talktime of Rs 175 free but on recharge of Rs 175 I got talk time of Rs 156.66.

      I feel they are cheating with sending wrong advertisement. They should be penalised.
      I recieved an sms stating 'thank you for downloading value+pack from airtel live which I hav'nt done and 15Rs was cut from my phone yesterday.Same thing happened today also.Please do something about this blatant theiving

      I got one SMS from Airtel in that they told that recharge your mobile with recharge coupon RS. 20.00 and get 2000 SMS free for one month validity. I recharged my mobile with recharge coupon Rs. 20.00 and i started sending sms and after sending some SMS i checked my main account balance , i was in socked they deduct Rs.1.00 per SMS after that i called to Customer care center ,they told that it was for voice SMS it was not for text SMS(But in SMS this was not mentioned), i complained about it to customer care but they did not take any action about it.
      I was forced or obligated to use/have a roaming services without my approval.I think I have the Right to decide what I want and what I don't want since it is me who is to pay the money.I don't want them to simply take away my Accounts through their offering services and I have the perception that these are all nothing but a deception by using an deceptive advertisement by which they tried to hide their Hoax and I don't want that to happen to everybody who don't know about these money fraud

      I was also pushed a HD Airtel Digital TV on purchase of Samsung LCD at the time Diwali.
      There I was asked to pay Rs.750/- as activation charge.

      The moment Dish was installed, problem started, picture started getting hanged/ stilled.

      I made continous complaints and every time request no. was given to me, but till date the problem has remained unsolved.

      Now I am regularly being harrased by the Airtel personals as 3 months time has already lapsed in trial and they have done nothing except phone call and I am not satisfied with their service and wasted Rs.750/- for experiment/ trial of their product.

      Airtel DTH — Harrasment and Cheating

      I have applied for a new Airtel DTH connection online and there starts my misery. After repeatedly calling to Airtel Customer Care for one week, they failed to do the installation. They give me so many false promises which made me took leave and wait in my home for service guys to come and do the installation. Finally the reply was "WE HAVE MANY CUSTOMERS, WE ARE NOT SURE WHEN WE CAN COME AND DO INSTALLATION".

      That was the last thing which I expected from a company like Airtel. I decided to go for cancellation and asked for refund. Airtel Customer care was so happy to do that and promised me the refund with in 10 days. Now it is almost one month, I have not received the money but only apologies and assurance from Airtel that I will get my money with in 10 days. Not sure when this 10th day will come.

      1. I Colonel N S Bhasin am a serving army officer and an airtel customer. I have been a repeated victim of their cheating ways. I have two airtel phones both in my own name ([protected] and [protected]).

      2. On both these phones airtel has been automatically without any demand from my end been activating services like GYAN, JOBSEARCH and YARANA and many more. Sometimes I get to know that they have turned on some such service which I unsubscribe but even then they have already charged me for the month/ week etc.

      3. Whenever I have complained to their customer service representative they say that they are helpless and can only help by disconnecting the service for the future. Today when I called them they put me through to a 'supervisor' who refunded these illegal deductions of Sep 2011 for one phone no - [protected].

      4. In view of the foregoing, may I request that this matter be looked into and such unethical (cheating) must be dealt with seriously.

      5. I would also appreciate if I could get a penal refund for both my phones.

      On my Mobile No.[protected] (Pre-Paid), I had received a call from Radio Mirchi on 06.11.2011 for some subscription but I had not followed any instruction told by them, even I had not disconnected the call. Now I had received a message that they have deducted Rs.10 for one week.
      I had requested to Airtel to refund the same but they denied to refund.

      STILL WAITING FOR DISCONTINUE THE FALSE SUBSCRIPTION !

      Please tell the matter for Refund the said deducted amount and disconnection of Subscription.
      Addressing to the concerned authorities towards the malpractices been conducted by BHARTI AIRTEL , Punjab Sector.
      On the 14th of October i purchased an Airtel Sim Card which offered me free 50mb internet services every month for 6 months. The scheme also consisted of 300 Local + National SMS every month for 6 months. After one month o[censored]sage , they deactivated these lucrative services. On calling the AIRTEL Costumer Care , the officials simply refused to take any action saying that the scheme has now been called off. Such an unexpected behaviour from the most prestigious network of India , Bharti Airtel is a setback for me.

      I have just ported to Airtel thru MNP(Mobile Number Portability). The offers, which I was entitled to get, were not given to me after I have switched to airtel. That I could let go but now when I have recharged with 27 (STD pack).After 15 days also that plan is not activated to my number.And due to this I had to bear extreme call cost.I have lodged complaints 2 -3 times but they did not do anything.Now they have disabled my contact to customer care department.

      I am Airtel DTH user for last six months but the monthly package has been gradually reduced by the company for last 3 months .
      As per the practice monthly package should have been of 30 days as per their advertisement, where as company is providing us the package for only 25 days or less
      last month we recharged our dth on 30th oct12 now they say that your validity for the monthly package will expire on 25th Nv 2012 when contacted they say that since you have opted additional pay channel therefore monthly period will be reduced. It is worthwhile to submit that I opted an additional pay channel for initial two months only and paid extra to them accordingly but they continued to subtract the amount from my subsequent monthly packages for that additional pay channel without my consent and thus has been reducing my monthly period. It is a clear cut cheating of the DTH provider.

I have taken Airtel DTH service two years back from the DTH lots available at that time in the market (TATA, reliance, sun direct, Videocon, etc) mainly due to the base plan which was offer to me as permanent pack and with an assurance of best service in terms of channels as well as service.
      2. I took this connection mainly for my father who is an aged and retired person and is at home and is much depend on the tv channel mostly (news and sport) for his entertainment.
      3. On 22/11/2012 my channels ESPN, Star-Sports and Star-Cricket was removed from my base plan and was replace it by SONY-SIX and TRACE-SPORTS. My father was very annoyed since he was to watch India vs England cricket match.
      4. On finding this I contacted the customer care of Airtel and after much discussion with their executive and team leader and told them that no approval or consent given by me to change my base plan and this is clearly a breach of trust and contract. After much discussion i being told that needful will be done and my plan were activated again very next day.

      5. However from 27th nov 2012 onward I started receiving sms from Airtel DTH that my sports channel will be discontinued from 30th nov 2012 and i need to pay 25 Rs monthly rental if I need to activated the same.
      6. Kindly note I have not approve or given any consent to change my base plan and this is clearly a breach of trust and contract.
      7. Please note I have paid till 12th dec 2012 for all my channels.

      8. I would like this to be resolved and the channels ESPN, Star-Sports and Star-Cricket be again introduced and SONY-SIX and Trace Sports be removed in the base plan without any extra charges on monthly or yearly basis.

      I am D.Oliver vedha sing an ex-navy recently 20days before i changed my AIRCEL service to AIRTEL i gave all documents regarding that they took everything and they deactivated my number and none is responding in both service...

      Leading communication title may be good for fools to grab their money. You people are good at cheating. Many newspapers witness that. I have a disgusting case here. I am unfortunately also a user of Airtel with number [protected]. I have two airtel numbers but this one I have kept for internet purposes only. I usually go with plan of rupees 200 for a month. On 14th of November 2014, 11:50 pm, I made a 3g recharge of rupees 51 because I was in Srinagar. Unfortunately recharge was successful but no benefits were given. I called upon customer service to talk about it to which he said that airtel hasn&#039;t provided me the benefits. I said to him that I would be going back to my village on 15th where 3g does not work, so I made a request to refund me to which he agreed. Today was this refunding date. When I called customer service today he disgusted me by saying that benefits were given and used. There wasn&#039;t even an element of shame on their part. Cheers with cheaters!
      Airtel deducted Rs.35/- from my main account balance on 30.03.2015 at 11.20 am (my mobile Number [protected]). They sent me an SMS which said - &#039;LAILA service has been activated for 7 days. I never subscribed for such a service. Airtel cheated me with Txn ID - N[protected].
      airtel gives confirmation msg for renew my net pack .after that they reduce my balance 1324.00 rs .and not refund

        Actually I dint post this to complaint on airtel i just wanted to appreciate the technology evolution airtel is utilizing. Easy Recharge through our own mobile is a great thought. Some case or the other may go wrong as it can go wrong with a few cases but over all motto is really gud.
        I went for easy recharge my mobile no is[protected] on 5/6/10 at malviya nagar from ht e shop from which I took my prepaid connection but instead of that i entered no[protected] which is nonexsist . I asked the concered person that you please recharge with correct no he said that he has got the message that it has been successfuly recharged and the money has been reduced from his account , if the no is non exsisting then how it will get recharged please let the airtel recharge my account with 100 Rs so that i can value for my money

I frequently get calls to make my payment of 6000/- which doesnt have any valid reason as am using 4 GB plan of 900 Rs per month. I paid Rs 4000/- for my 1st bill after 15 o[censored]sage. the 2 nd month i paid Rs 900/-.Again for the 3rd month i got a bill of 4000/- , till date it has gone upto Rs 6000/-. i dont even check mail frequently.whenever i call them to disconnect, they ask me make the payment. this bill is ridiculous and far beyond my usage. Am most frustrated receieving calls from 20 different people this month for making the payment. i want you to take necessary action to help me disconnect the internet connection.

            This happened to me in past few days. Having accidentally lost my cell phone and the Airtel postpaid sim , I went to Airtel Gallery in Madhapur, Hyderabad (near Image Hospital) and took a duplicate sim.

            The customer care exective handed my husband the sim saying it will take 3-4 hours for activation. But,it wasn't activated until 14 hours. The next day I called Aitel 121 and spoke with customer care executives thrice.

            In my 1st call no one asks for verification and she registerd my complain on high priority saying it will be activated in 1 hour. Obviously which does not happens so I am forced to make 2nd call after a duration of 3 hours.

            In my 2nd call I am asked to verify myself name,airtel a/c owner,last bill,etc now after all this the executive tells me please call on postpaid no . I thought 121 is the single customer care no and I chosed Postpaid to speak to this un-reasonable Customer care executive. On Arguing he re-directs the call to his Supervisor.
            This smart lady Hungs me up after listening my story

            Then I make 3rd call now and the smart customer care executive tells me Maa'm you need to go to the Airtel Gallery where you bought the duplicate and speak to them since we are not having your data.

            What's the bloody point of having a Customer Care no 121 when I need to visit Gallery.

            Finally I had to go to the Gallery again and the customer care executive tell me its the rule that postpaid activation takes 3-4 working days. I mean seriously what age are we living in? 3-4 days to activate a duplicate sim-card?

            And then Airtel has ads on television claiming they are the best Providers.
            Airtel Providers that you should live upto your words and please please improve and educate your customer care executives.I mean they should know basic English you can't expect if you are in Hyderabad you should know Telugu.India needs Globalization and Airtel has executives who hardly speak in English

            Airtel Postpaid Connection — customer care

            I have not received the airtel bill last month.And my bill is being paid by the company so i requested them to send the copy of the bill again.
            But they never send the same and also they disconnected my phone.
            When i talked to the customer care they never gave answer and always hung of the phone.
            Now every time i dial to customer care they transfer my call to prepaid customer care who have no idea about my bill details.
            Again they have disconnected the phone saying that the credit limit has reached. I have even paid the interim amount.
            Still waiting for phone to get activated.when i dial from other phone they say it is new product deptt. And they can't help.
            This is worst customer care i have seen.this are few reference no they send to me[protected],[protected],[protected], [protected],[protected].
            Now they have even stopped doing the same.
            I am very annoyed the kind of service given by Airtel.
            I had a pre paid card and i changed it to paost card, privided all the documents to The airtel agent and it took 2 days to make as a post paid.
            After great diffculty they changed in to post paid. After onw eek of service i got a message saying that i did not submit my documents, i called coustmer care, where my queries not answered properly.
            called to the agent to submit document as soon as possible, he mada a call after one hour saying that all problem has been resloved.
            The horrible thing happened after one week i got the same message that i have not submited my documents and my network got cut in the evening. While i tried to call the Agent ( Mr.Yogesh). His phone service has been out of service. No i am at fix, what to do? while i need to provide my bill for tax redmpetion.
            If this kind of service Airtel provides, i am very sorry to say the all the user to switch other network which atleaset guide at right time.

            Airtel Postpaid Connection — Serious Delay in reactivation of my postpaid connection

            i am working in carrier airconditioning and have taken a Postpaid connection of airtel.My no. got deactivated because of document submmited (my permanent address as said by the airtel agent) .But now they wanted the present address proof which i submitted 15 days back but there has not been any action till date.
            I am just fedup of all this.
            I regret to say that airtel services are really very poor as am not the only one in carrier who is facing such problem.every third day one or the other person has the some sort of problem with their connection.
            I would also like to mention that the staff for Airtel is extremely rude and mannerless.They dont know how to behave and handle a customer.

              to whomsoever it may concern,The cheaters have started making several conspicous calls for availling lotteries and handsome money again. Report to police as we have the right to know that what tie ups airtel india is having that the data has been shared with these liars and nefarious hounds.
              i have checked on the google as it tells that there are numerous cases and issues just only the amounts have been changed and the name of the indian banks only gets changed. each call charges more than 25 inr. and there is one more biggest threat as might be indian sims are getting proned and sooner there might be very adverse effects . it is a case of 420 and tampering the intellectual property rights as well.
              the no. should be traced and treaty should intervene and if they have data for our phone no.s then they must be having all the personal details as well.
              there should be a firewall and preventive measures should be taken ,on the contrary government bodies should also get alarmed that we have to think about our cyber security.

Despite my transfer to Mumbai from Delhi and getting an unlimited Vodafone connection, I am using Airtel Mobile No. [protected]. From so many years, I am regularly paying bills to the tune of Rs.250/- to say Rs.,1500/- every month. Recently, to my shock, I got a bill of Rs. 10000/-. I had enquired on telephone to your representative vide complaint No. 44138969 the reasons for the same. I am surprised to know that about 8000 sms messages have been sent to my own number [protected] and my wife's Number. Really this is shocking. I have requested them to send actual bill which can not be more than Rs.1000/-. My bill has not been changed despite repeated requests and I am repeatedly getting SMS to clear off the bill. I request you to kindly look into the matter to rectify the bill immediately. I am paying Rs.1000/- considering the bill amount. If the bill is not rectified, I will have no option but to surrender the mobile no. unwillingly. Kindly look into the matter urgently to rectify the BIll at the earliest.

                    I dialled the same no. 7070 and they tell that this service is not available on your phone number.

                      NEVER BUY A HDTV FROM AIRTEL. THE WORST SERVICE AND IT DOESN'T WORK,

                      I BOUGHT A HDTV WITH 6 NONTHS PACKAGE WHICH COST ME 6K+ . FROM THE BEGINING THE SET TOP BOX HAD PROBLEMS. I SPENT 1000 BUCKS ON INSTALLATION(THEY SAY IT IS FREE). THEIR ENGINEERS(?) DON'T KNOW THE BASIC CONCEPTS AND TOOK 5-10 DAYS TO ADDRESS THE PROBLEMS AND I HAD TO INSTALL IT WITH THE HELP OF A 3RD PARTY. AFTER 2 WEEKS THE SETTOP BOX WOULD NOT SITSH ON. AFTER REPEATED CALLS(10 ATLEAST) FINALLY A GUY CAME AND PICKED THE SET TOP BOX 4 MONTHS AGO WHICH WAS ABOUT A MONTH FROM WHEN I PURCHASED. UNTIL NOW HE HAS NOT TURNED BACK AND NOT PICKING UP THE PHONE. MY BROTHER AND ME HAD CALLED THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SPENT HOURS AND HOURS EXPLAINING THEM FROM THE BEGINNING. TILL NO RESPONSE. NEVER BUY IT..

                      I AM TAKING TO THIS TO CONSUMER COURT WHEN I HAVE TIME TO DO, NOT BECAUSE OF MY LOSS BUT TO EXPOSE THIS CORPORATE SCANDAL AND AVOID UNSUSPECTING CUSTOMERS.

                      Airtel HD TV — No installation of Dish once money is paid

                      I have bought a Sony TV and got a airtel HD Dish TV activation kit. I was asked by call centre in Airtel to recharge for another 2000 Rupees to get the connection booked.

                      I paid the money. That was on 1 st March 2010. Then i called to book a installation. The airtel employee in call centre promised a installation within 48 hours. Later I got a sms saying installation booked for 28th March 2010. I immedieatly called and was told that it is a mistake and they will ask their backend team to install with in 48 hours.

                      3 weeks have passed and no one bothers to come. I have called the call centre at least 10 times , every time they promise to get it dine in next 24 hours but nothing gets done.

                      Toady i.e. 18th March they are not even picking up my call on 12150 ... i simply hear sms CALL to 54325 and call gets disconnected.


                      They are big cheaters and i would advise everyone not to choose them . I'll keep posting any progress on my case if it ever happens.

                        This mail is on behalf of Ms. Nikita Jangale. She is using airtel Maharashtra card,her number is [protected]. She made recharge for mobile internet but she was unable to connect the internet. It might be because o[censored]nsuccessful recharge or any other technical problem. So she made a call in the customer care on 27th June,2012 at around 8.19 PM. Then person from airtel customer care started talking in rubbish language after picking her call rather than solving her problem. So she told him to talk in proper language first and then solve my problem. Then also he continued to talk in wrong language. Then she dropped that call. But after few minutes she got a call from [protected] and found the same person who talked with her when she made a call in customer care , was calling from his personal mobile number. And started talking in very foolish and rubbish language. And he started calling her again and again. She is living in Kothrud, Pune.

                        Later on we called that person from another number then we found that person is also staying in the Kothrud. So she is frightened now because of that person. So please take serious action against him. If your customer care executives behave like this, all girls in Maharashtra ,using Airtel are in trouble because of such unethical behavior of Airtel customer care executives.

                        We thought before giving this matter to Media , we must inform you regarding this matter so that you can also take some corrective actions against him and avoid spoiling name of Airtel on news channels. Take this matter seriously.

                          I am regular customer of Air-tel broadband connection and our land-line number is[protected]. We were using 75GB data limit plan.
                          From last 15 days we were facing internet connection problem.

                          Here the air-tel company in Chandigarh is totally corrupted.
                          Last time, on 20th June we had checked on air-tel website that our data was left 33GB.
                          But when we came next day to office, then see that only 0GB data was left. At same day, we had complained to air-tel company regarding that issue. Then the name of guy Jag deep came to our office to solve our issue. But he had not solved that issue. And filled a form and said that i had registered your complaint and given a slip.
                          For the detail information of that slip i have attached one scanned copy of that complaint. He was forcefully told to us to sign on that complaint form and said that your issue should be solved tomorrow( 22th June) evening.
                          But he had not got any email till now.

                          Our internet is still not working properly. Even the air-tel website is not opening properly.

                          Please charge our complaint against Air tel office in Chandigarh.

                            Hi,

                            I am a user of Airtel DTH (HD) services. I have recently bought this connection. In the first month everything was fine, but from the 2nd month o[censored]sing the connection I am facing lots of issues. Details of the issue mentioned below.

                            I activated Set Max HD on my account after buying connection in May 2012. Then I recharged my account first time with 600 INR to continue with the Ultra pack which was given to me in my first month of subscription. Till 26-Jun-12 everything was going fine then suddenly my connection got suspended. I called customer care to check, and I came to know that by balance was not sufficient due to Active Set Max HD on my account for which I was charged 5 INR every day. Then I recharged my account on 28-Jun-12 and called customer care to check the status of set max HD and they informed me that this channel is Off-air since IPL is over, however I was charged for each day even while it was Off-air. How will I come to know that this channel is off air and I have to get it removed myself? Is it not simple understanding that the channels get removed or we are not charged from account if it is Off-air? More over why should I pay for services which was never given to me it is Illegal as well as unethical practice.

                            Also I myself is not liking to escalate or write emails for such issues related to something like cable TV. This is very frustrating and disappointing. Airtel is known for its customer service; however in this case it is worst that my local cable TV walah. I have lost complete trust in customer services, looking at my experience in last three days. At first I am charged for something which was never given to me, and then when I try to register complaint, the customer service representatives are fooling me by putting me on hold or disconnecting my call. Today on 28-Jun-12 between 30 mins duration between 06:30 AM to 07:00 Am IST, I called around 10 times and I was answered twice and somebody replied to me only once rest all calls were deliberately disconnected even without responding.

                            Need your attention to the concern and request for reversal of the amount charged on my account on set max HD for the period when it was Off-air.

                              I purchased an airtel prepaid number on[protected] in Bangalore.
                              When I went on roaming on[protected],they barred my incoming & outing calls plus outgoing messages without any prior information.
                              Then on my return & my complaint,they re-activated my services on[protected].
                              On[protected],at 2:00 AM,I was on a call,which was suddenly cut off & my number was deactivated from that moment with a pre-recorded voice saying “Number doesn’t exist”.
                              I went to an airtel office where the executive told me that my number is recycled and I cant get the number back plus the existing balance.
                              What a fraud!!
                              Cannot trust AIRTEL anymore.

                                I have a prepaid Airtel SIM with number [protected]. On Jan 2012 I moved out to Abu Dhabi in the UAE. From 22nd Jun 2012, my mobile phone is showing Invalid SIM. A balance of Rs 1000/- of talk-time was still there at that time. I am told that since 6 months have crossed without a recharge, the SIM has been made invalid and it will be resold in the market.
                                I expected that Airtel would at least give a warning call or sms before taking such an action, since I am a customer for quite some time. This number is given to all my Banks and so I have a lot of difficulties as all my transactions with secure code by sms has stopped. I am not getting important transaction and Balance sms.
                                Please make my SIM valid again and help.

                                  Dear Sujit,

                                  In our country it is not possible to know the name and address of any users of mobile number with out any help from local Police if there is some major issue, but only the easiest way to escape such disturbance you may just put those number in your mabile phone in reject list/ Black list service. It will be very helpful if you kindly provide mobile phone model and manufacture details. I also face same problem since a long time and now a days it is very common to every one. I just put those number in reject list record and resolve the issue. May be some other ideas are there But I share my opinion only.

                                    I applied for new connection on Last Friday (june, 15) though net banking card . Transaction ID[protected].

                                    Your associate committed me that day we ll definitely

                                    install it on the next day but one week past no call from your side . The

                                    most disappointing is, I called you 8 times , every time somebody picks

                                    and ask for the details of my connection and tells we ll call you back in 1

                                    hour or 45 minutes. No body call me back. Just I think Airtel is fooling

                                    me . I don’t have any time to call you or waste my time and money on that.
                                    This sms i got when i pay online on 15/6/2012, today its 21/06/2012 no response shame on airtel brand!! assured me to serve connection within 48 hrs ....

                                    I am unfortunate enough to have an Airtel DTH vide Customer ID [protected].

                                    With great difficulty and after changing three telephones I could get

                                    your complaint nos. And after three mismanaged calls I could finally convey
                                    my
                                    problem to a person (arrogant and devoid of any courtesy) at your place.
                                    This
                                    was on 12th January evening. Nobody has yet contacted me or tried to sort
                                    out
                                    my problem.

                                    I even went twice to your service centre with the equipment a few months
                                    back
                                    with same problem and was told that everything was alright. Besides this I
                                    would also like to draw your attention towards the kind and quality of
                                    installation done by you. You can compare the quality of TATA Sky installed

                                    next to it.

                                    Now I am not ready to wander places with this equipment and in case this is
                                    not
                                    fixed I will prefer to dispose it.

                                    My Airtel Digital TV Customer ID is [protected] and this is to bring to notice that since last one month, I am requesting Airtel Digital TV customer care to activate Channels- Movies Now HD (No.198) and Discovery HD (No.338) but after so much follow up through email and telephone there is no response from Airtel.
                                    So my request is to take immediate agaist my complaint.

                                    From friday i m continuesly but customer call center guys are not responding , i gave call atleast 10 time and explain the same to each agent , but no solution provided for my problem .Every time they told with in some time engineer will call you and fix . Finally i told to disconnect my connection . I don't want to use service any more .

                                    Problem was wire broke from conneector , airtel engineer came to my place and he asked 350 + 100 (service charge) , that is not acceptable .
                                    Here i want to name few agents who i talked Soni Morya(TL),Rinki,Imran,Sridhar,PrathviRaj.

                                    i had purchase a AIRTEL DTH . after few months i remote control is not working even after calling customer care for few months no body had turned up for to repair the remote control.

                                      Hi Sir,

                                      I am using Airtel network with the number [protected],few week back i have activated for DND(do not disturb) services by calling airtel Customer care, the executive who took a call said it will be activated in 7days,

                                      On june 23rd 2012 i got marketing SMS from HDFC bank number was [protected], I have called to customer care and logged a complaint regarding this executive said that my complaint got register and will get a feed back call, but till now i dint get any call from Airtel,

                                      Today again i got a call from[protected] lady spoke to me and said that she is from HDFC BANK and offered some personal loans, I asked her "from where did you get my number..?" she said my office gave a database i asked for a senior person she disconnected the call.

                                      I request you to please register my complaint and investigate on this, I want necessary action should be taken on Airtel,

                                      Airtel has become a poor service provider and pathetic customer care service they are handling.

                                        My father is airtel postpaid customer([protected]). I paid the bill of Rs 775.82 for March billing cycle against the same. This bill amount is now added back to my airtel billed amount and I got the message on 21st June stating that money will soon be refunded to my bank account. I paid this bill via axis bank debit card. Till date(27th June, 2012), the money has not been credited back to the bank account. Moreover, customer care executives were not able to resolve my query. Further, the advised me to send a mail to nodal officer. I have also not recieved any communication from nodal officer although I sent the mail to nodal officer several days back with the bank statements attached.
                                        I need to call complaint helpline(198) almost everyday and put my call on a long hold. Its disgusting and not at all accepted from a brand like Bharti Airtel. Why should I bear the malice?
                                        Just reply asap how long would you take more to refund my money. And if you are not willing to do so, then I need to file a consumer forgery case if my complaint is not resolved by tomorrow. I will not tolerate this now and will not pay any further bills if my money is not refunded.

                                        Are you crazy? I didn't any call back from you and my query is still not resolved. It is completely pending at your end. You did a fraud of Rs. 775. And to build a goodwill again, wrote that you have resolved my complaint over a comment. It is not acceptable.
