    Disconnection of sim

    I have purchased new Airtel prepaid mobile sim no[protected] mobile no [protected] two months ago by giving all valid documents. mobile phone was rarely used as validity was upto 2015. No addresss verification was made.There was sum balance of Rs 100+. Now sim is disconnected with balace amount. I have contacted local customer care centre and nodel office Indore. But they replied that paper was not submitted hence sim was stopped.br...

    I have bought new airtel conncetion from Mahalakshmi Enterprises
    Shop No-1-2-25/11,Dr-Atmaram complex , Main Road, Hydernagar, Opp Vasanth Nagar Main Gate,Kukatpally500072 Hyderabad on 11/05/2012.I have asked them to when can they install the Broadband; they informed within 2 days they will install.

    But still today none of them appeared.

    I had even tried to call the person Prasad which has given me commitment for the same but not picking up my call his no is [protected].

    At the time of payment he said i will start the connection any how within two days you just give me the advance and documents.

    Can anyone suggest me can i file consumer court against their wrong commitment?

    Also warn other for not going to this shop as they are doing frauds by not proving the service as per their commitment

      Myself Roma Bhatia, working with Adani Group, I am facing network problem despite of my office being located in the centre of the ahmedabad city.
      There is hell lot of problem while calling and messaging and also GPRS is half of the time not connected. And above this if we call customer care, they are unable to handle our complains well. From my past experience I have learnt that calling customer care is just a waste of time money and efforts. Atleast we could expect that the managers would handle the grievances of the customers but am sorry to say that we have not got any kind of support yet. Managers and other staff are inefficient to deal with customer and cannot handle their grievance well.
      Based upon this experience I now repent . The services provided are unsatisfactory & pathetic, brand name of Airtel is huge but the support and services provided as experienced by me was depressing.

        This is respect to my Airtel No. [protected]. I have received a call from airtel representative named Shubham Kaushav (Chandigarg). I have found the airtel representative to be non professional and language used by him was slang. I have already raised the complaint at 198 also with nodal officer still this complaint is open.When the right solution is provided by your company then I can go ahead with the payments of my outstanding amount without any late payment charges .

        I got call from rohan khanna [protected], harrising me to pay the due within 1 hr if not arrest warrant from delhi will be issued .i vil be under remand for 6 months and fine of rs 280000 /- .
        i m continuously receivng calls saying mr rohan khanna .statement " i m rajiv chaudhary from police head quoter delhi, u r issued arrest warrant for 2 days n u will be handed over to new delhi court then u will be for 6 months in jail, againts pennalty of
        rs 2, 80000 /- u will be releifed..getting continuse calls n follows up for payment its totaly wronge and illegal .too much harasment i was totaly tensed n frusted .Please email me on [protected]@gmail.com if any of can help me plz , I will get in touch asap I can .will take action against this fraud..

I found 20-20 rupees was deducted 2 times from my pre-paid balance. Now there is no option on www.tashan.co.in to unsubscribe this service

              I purchased an Airtel digital HD connection on 8th May 2012 using my debit card and the money (Rs. 6670) was deducted from my account the same day. I was provided a customer ID [protected] on the 12th May. Today is 15th of May and no installation has taken place.

              Several calls to[protected] are either attended by rude executives or whenever the call is escalated to a Supervisor, an assurance is given that they have spoken to the Area Sales Manager and installation will happen within 24 hours.

              On 13th May (the last call from an Airtel executive) I was informed that the installation was to happen by 4 PM that evening and since then there has been no response from anyone in that company.

              This is a case of fraud and cheating of hapless customers. My last call at 11 AM to the call centre was attended by a girl who refused to give her name and was rude and disconnected the call....

              I am left feeling helpless and not sure how to deal with this matter. I would appreciate any help in getting my money back.

                Hi,
                I applied for the new Internet broadband connection with all the documents to the airtel executive on May 06, 2012. But till now I hadn't get the installation of broadband connection at my location. When I called to the customer care against service request no. 15630630 then they told me your request get cancelled then when I told them why this request get cancelled then they told me no such pear available in that location but this not true. Because on the same day I cancelled one of the Internet connection from that location. I mentioned all these details to customer care as well as the one of the installation person who contact me. My old Number which was cancelled to that location is[protected]. One thing customer care executive told me that he is execuing a call back facility for me on May 15, 2012 in between 8:00 Am to 9:00 AM but I hadn't received any call from the service provider.

                So I request you once again please installed the new connection on the same pear on which the old number exists.

                Airtel — new internet connection

                I have an airtel internet of 15gb. My billing date is on the 5th of every month. But for the past 2 months ie July and August I have been getting messages by the 10th of the month telling me my usage is over. It is highly impossible that I used up 15gb in 5 days. I have never had this problem before. I have met many people who have complained to me about the same problem.The customer care service is very poor. I hope this issue can be sorted out soon.

                  Signal with error code B001, the weather is normal here, and it is not working from last 3 days. I complaint report on 6th May. They are asking to charge Rs. 100 for visit for the service they are providing. Their service is not working and they are charging to resolve their service issues. Since I recharged advance till 1st Jul 2012, so I didn't argue with them and ready to pay. Today is 3rd day and no action was taken from Airtel technical team so far. And today I got the message that the problem (Service Request Number:[protected] has been resolved. But it is not yet resolved.

                  AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — very bad services

                  Hi,

                  I am relocating from Pune to Navi Mumbai (Airoli). I loged a requiest - costomer care to setup my Digital TV setup box 8 days back, But no any response taken yet.

                  Daily i called costomer care 2 -3 time, they told me that i am writing a compaint now, within 24 hours your problem definitly get resolved. But 4 time happen same thing. This 24 hour never end.

                  My customer ID is [protected]) (in the name of the owner of my house). I am seeing a blank black screen on my Airtel Digital TV for last 10 days. Have been complaining regarding the same to Airtel Digital TV consistently, yet no resolution.
                  The worst part is that after such a pathetic experience, I intend to discontinue the service and move to some other operator. These guys are not willing to give me back the INR 500+ excess deposit (Advance payment) from my account.

                  Every time I call them, they say our engineer will visit your site in next two hours. Damn the same comment every time.

                  One I could reach some senior executive and he was all pain balm to me..Yet no resolution.

                  Airtel Digital: You are a bad bad service. 10 days of blank screen, and yet no resolution.

                  BTW I have waited like 10 hours (Atleast) on their customer care 'hold'. And have figured out easier ways to reach the customer care.
                  1. Do not use the tech support IVR, instead if you use a recharge one or add on/movie one, they are prompt to pick up.

                  i buy airtel digitel tv and make payement on 13 august firstky it is not installed at my home after 10 days it is install and then it is not work it show error code 6 if i call customer care they tell me sir wait for 1 hour then 2 hour but not one solve my problem .

                  i called up the customer care to order a movie at 02:55 am on 05 jul 2012. The agent told me that movie has already been ordered so i will be able to see it in some time. Movie started for few seconds and then stopped. I informed abt the same to the agent aswell but he asked me to wait for some time and then he transferred the call to the supervisor. He informed me that only the next show will get played as i ordered the movie a bit late according to his system at 03:16 am which is wrong because when i asked him the current time at his place he informed me its 03:51 am whereas on all the news channels the time was 03:31 am so they have wrong timings in there system. I asked him to cancel the show and to refund the amount back as i did not have time after that. He did not agree and said he can not cancel it from his side and i will only get the refund if the movie will not get played. right now its 07:12 am but the movie still did not get started and when i asked him to transfer the call to his senior he said there is not one available rite now. Very very poor customer service. I planned to enjoy a movie and ended up with arguementing with a customer care agent for approximately half an hour in the middle of the night. What sholud i do?

                    Dear Sir,

                    I've upgraded my airtel standard DTH to HD after i paid Rs.1999/- through IVR using my credit card on 4th May. I've been promised that it will be delivered in 24-48hrs and it was delivered on 8th May(after 96hrs), that too after multiple calls to them for tracking. And i was promised that SMax HD channel will be free till 27th May as an offer to the existing customer. This channel is not being activated since 8th May. I've spoken to customer care and the executive who took the booking several times, but no use. They are having standard reply of 'IT WILL BE ACTIVATED IN 24hrs', however now several 24hrs passed since 8th May. No action from Airtel DTH team.

                    And while booking, IVR system prompts that upgrade your existing setup box with just Rs.1750/- and they charged me Rs.1999/-. When i asked for clarification they told its an old offer, not valid. But still there in the IVR. Apart they recharged my account with Rs.1750/- only and detected that amount against HD box deliverable. I've sent mail to [protected]@in.airtel.com on may 8th, and so far no reply from them.

                    Airtel HD DTH Upgrade — No Installation after multiple call

                    Hi,

                    i Upgraded my Airtel setup from normal to HD and made payment on 6th March'12. while making payment i was promised that in max 72hours setup box will be upgraded, but unfortunately no installation and useless customer care dont have any answer expect repeating same old written English.

                    I will never suggest anyone to go for Airtel DTH.

                      Respected Sir/Madam,
                      I am using a mobile no. [protected] from Bharti Airtel. I got my bill amount for the month of April 2012 as Rs. 1775 which is far more than my average monthly usage of around Rs. 400 because Airtel claims that I had made a gprs usage of Rs. 1200 on 12th April 2012 it does not specify how many MBs (may be 300-400) I have used in that one hour o[censored]sage. I beg to make them remember that they offer 1024 MBs for Rs. 99 on Gprs plans. But how could they charge me Rs. 1200 for 300-400 MB. I know they will argue that you have not opted for any Gprs plans so we would charge you according to the normal rate of gprs usage but isn’t that wrong on the part of SUPREMELY POWERED BHARTI AIRTEL when they know that according to plans that much o[censored]sage should be charged to around Rs. 50 but if you have not opted for gprs plan that does not mean they can charge Rs 1200 instead of Rs. 50. If I would have opted for gprs plan my gprs usage would have at most cost me Rs. 100 but if I forgot to opt or didn’t know the normal gprs usage charges I would be charged Rs. 1200 intead of Rs. 100. Today in many places in cities like Delhi internet is offered free in the same time the SUPREMELY POWERED BHARTI AIRTEL is charging Rs. 1200 for a few hours o[censored]sage or downloading. It is not that people at Airtel do not know this fact that gprs or internet usage is not that much expensive but who can stop them from charging their customers they have been given 2G license so where would the customer go he would have to pay whatever they ask for. Goodness gracious I had not used gprs for the whole month otherwise I would have needed to sell my house to pay that bill. I have not even used this internet for any purpose which could be specified from the usage of the internet I had just put my Sim card into my husband’s phone for that time which had some virus problem then also the usage would not be more than 300 MB.
                      Shouldn’t there be any limit to what these people charge when the normal charges are Rs. 100 for whole month how can they can charge Rs. 1200 for one day or much less usage. Today almost everyone makes use of internet and most people know the technical terms nowhere in the world charge is Rs. 1200 for 300 MB it would be around Rs. 50 even from Airtel gprs plans if they want to cheat people they can but take 10 times if I forgot to opt for gprs plan that is Rs. 500 but why so expensive Rs. 1200. I am not the first one to be cheated like this but their would be many people but not everybody has the time to write about wrong doings of these people. I had even made a complaint to TRAI regarding this bill but people from Airtel called me to tell that they have had a talk with people from TRAI and your Gprs billing usage is correct according to the people from Trai they insist that 300 MB should cost you Rs. 1200 and it does not matter if you had incidentally used internet or not which means internet is a very expensive thing and should be restricted to the rich people like AIRTEL and poor people like me who find Rs. 1200 per hour expensive should stay away from it.
                      Lastly I most respectfully ask you for a favour that internet should be not be switched on any postpaid mobile number without the permission of the user to do so by the service provider like AIRTEL so that more people do not suffer and there should be a upper limit of charge for the internet usage as normally unlimited usage of net on the laptop with data card which has mobility is around Rs. 800 for whole month.
                      Please give some thought.

                      when nop service available in parel area pl tell because I am facing this problem last 10 day.

                      Airtel Mobile — GPRS

                      I made a request 3 days back for activation of GPRS my number is [protected] since then i have made more then 30 calls for activation some time they are saying your GPRS service is activated and some time they said it is not and will be done with in a hour but its not activated yet. NO body is doing nothing about it.

                      Airtel — internet charge are more

                      dear sir,
                      my airtel simcard [protected].Company gives only 100MB downloading+browsing per day in 10/- but the other customers of airtel gets UNLIMITED INTERNET per day in 10/-.Why the AIRTEL company gives different facility in same amount???
                      So,i request you to give same facility to me.

                          I am a resident of Malkajgiri, Hyderabad. I used to use DOCOMO network before March 2012 and because of network connectivity problem i have port to Airtel GSM network and using since 2 months as all my family members and friends suggested me Airtel as good network. But i have never thought that Airtel does this type of activities. Actually on[protected] exactly at 8:42 PM 15 Rs Deducted from airtel balance of number [protected] on the name of TTMVROCKS. I have made a call to[protected] which is number of Passport Customer service before 8 min and which was my last call. I have called the Customer service of Airtel and the executive told me that i have got a call and i gave a positive response at 8:41 PM but i haven't received any call. I hope Airtel will return my 15 Rs which are valuable to me and stop blaming me unnecessarily that i have given a positive reply.

                          AirTel — Unnecessary deduction of amount

                          I have complain about unnecessarily deduction of amount from my account, they r charging 4 that which I m not using in that sometimes message comes that deducted this for this vas download they even don’t describe for what they r deducting, this generally happens when I go on roaming. Even Their customer Care executives give wrong information of which there are no norms, their customer care executives are need 2 have trained about their products. Even it is one of the worst service provider as I go to the roaming their customer care is chargeable on STD rates, I m totally fed up of it plz help me I wana fight for it

                          Dear Sir,
                          I am holding airtel prepaid card no [protected]. I recharged this number on 01/08/09 for 150Rs & I received 138Rs. But today I have only 2Rs bal all the amount is automatically debited from my account. I called customer care & I found some Healthy tips VAS is activated on my number.I may inform you that I have never opted for such request as I am not aware of such useless packages. Moreover I am using this mobile only for incoming calls and am using it very rarely.The whole day I am receiving unwanted messages/calls from Airtel.
                          In this connection I talked to Airtel Customer care executives who told me that this amount of Rs.130 will be revert back to my account within 48 hrs of time and I will be informed about it. I am sorry to state that even after elapse of 48 hrs of my complaint neither I received any message nor any amount is credited to my account. I called airtel after the same I was annoyed as I found that I have not called customer care btn. 01/08/09 - 16/08/09 as told by customer care executives.
                          No good service by airtel, response from airtel executives, not willing to take request.

                          I therefore request you to kindly get me this refund of Rs.130 immediately and inform me about the action taken. Also please take some necessary actions against airtel.

                          It is very stupid and nonsence process of AIR TEL is that it deducting reguraly from my balance amount.AIRTEL is a thief,ghost and most worst service provider.

                          Airtel — Unnecessary calling and deducting amount

                          I have getting the call from value added services from AIRTEL on my mobile no. [protected] regularly. After picking up the call the service provider activated the value added services and deducted the sum of Rs. 15/30 without my consent. This has happen numerous time. I did not notice as the deduction them apply is accounted latter on. Today on 30.01.2011and around 15:30 Hrs I received a call from them and after picking up the call they have activated the hallow tune though I have disconnected the call without pressing any numeral as suggested in the IVRS system. Afterward they deduct Rs. 15 rupees and activated the hallow tune @ Re.1 per day. Further I have dial their customer service, when the call is established they activate the Bhakti Mala without my consent with deduction of money. They have activated the ramayan in my mobile no 03 month back without my consent and deducting Rs. 15 per week PLUS Re.1 per day. Though I have SMS to stop this service they do not bother to deactivate their service. They have literary cheating me with around Rs.500 and more along with giveing a lot of mental agony

                          I am trying to contact Airtel customer care number from my mobile number but some how I am not able to talk to any of the representative. I have a query, my airtel balance was 114 rs. till 29th Feb 2010 night when I slept. When I woke up in the morning I see there is only 14 rs. left in my account. Now I want to know where you have deducted my amount. for what you have charged me 100 rs. s such I do not have any services on on my number. I want the clarification fro the same.

                          The same problem I faced few days back when I was using itnernet on my phone, though I had GPRS active on my number and it said that news aplication is free for airtel live users, I had been charged some what around 50 Rs. and after that only I recharged with 200 Rs. and I had balance of some 179 Rs.which i was using till now. Suddenly today morning 100 Rs. have been deducted from my balance why? and for what? Last call I made which was Gujarat number and it charged me some what around 0.80 and before that I dialed some Punjab Jalandhar number which charged me some what around 8 Rs. at the max. after that I have only received the calls. I am not on roaming also that I get charged for my incoming calls. So for what the HECK you people have charged me?
                          I have a prepaid connection of Airtel i.e. [protected]. Since 25th April 2012,nearly 70-100 rupees have been deducted from my mobile number without any service recommended by me. I am trying to contact customer care at 121, while been unable to talk with customer care executives. Today on 10.5.2012, Rs. 35 has been deducted for MHealth and Rs. 15 for Hello tune, again Rs. 15 for Chit Chat services; while i have not made any request.
                          Please lodge the complaint against the company and take necessary action.

                            Hi,

                            i'm using airtel postpaid ( mobile number[protected]connection from 2005 to till date. Since then I'm promptly paying bill every month. Last year I have submitted my documents to Airtel ( voter id,pan card ) when they told it is guided by TRAI.Again on April 3rd week they sent me SMS to resubmit the documents. They have not accepted to send scanned documents from my registered e-mail address. They asked me to visit airtel outlet must submit documents by hand.

                            On Apr'25 they have barred all services. Since then,i have called customer care 3 to 4 times, no one informed me failing to provide documents my connection will be disconnected. As well, i had no time to visit airtel outlet. Later on May'09th I visited airtel outlet and submitted all relavent documents. But, my service is permanently disconnected without informing though i'm using service for past 6 and half years.

                            When I visited airtel outlet, I was told it will be activated with in 24 hours, but it has not happened.The next day i submitted documents i called customer care and they told once they receive documents they will activate service.But on 12thMay they permanenently disconnected my service.

                            When I call customer care,they said check with airtel outlet. When I check with airtel outlet, they said we already forwarded check with call center.

                            My queries:

                            1.How can airtel permanently disconnected the service without my notice or informing me?

                            2. Why airtel have not given me sufficient time to submit documents? How come service is permanently disconnected with in 2 weeks of time i received SMS?

                            3. Why airtel outlet or airtel have not received documents I have submitted in time and who is responsible?

                            4. According to airtel outlet/customer care after submitting documents the services will be resumed in 24Hrs. Why is it not happened?

                            5. Why airtel have disconnected the service after 3 days[protected] of I submitting the documents[protected]?

                            6. Why airtel asking me to submit the documents every year?

                            I have struggled a lot because of irreponsible processes defined in airtel and there is no coordination between consumer,airtel outlet and concerned departent?

                            please take appropriate action against airtel and provide service in short time?

                            Hello

                            I am rajeev from gurgaon using airtel ([protected])post paid connection from 2003 and i am paying all the bill on time, but from feb 2008 i didn't recieved any bill thats why i didn't pay my bill, i have all raedy give complain regarding this? from today my out going call and incomming call services has been stoped. i am working as self employed so phone in the best way to connect with the clients, today some inportant dealing have to finalised from Malyasia thats hy i called up and found that my servises has ben stoped. i lost this important contract so its a big financial loss for me so i wanted to take action against the airtel mobile services. I called up customer care thrice today evening and requested him to open the services because it vry very urgent for me for my deal with client in Malyasia but he refussed to proved the servises and the miss behaved with with said if you are not able to afford to pay than don't make call so i feel very very imbrassed so i have descided to make an complain on comsumer fourm.
                            please help me so that we can take some action against service provider.

                            Airtel mobile connection — service disconnected without notice

                            sir,
                            i took 2 additional connection of airtel under cug to my company employees by submitting the copy of the proof and personnel verfication on 9.5.2008. the connection was given only on 15.5.2008 and the service was disconnected on 19.5.2008, since the agent who has taken my proof of identity was absconding with the papers.

                            Airtel never bothered to contact me to inform the same but discontinued the supply. till date iwas not contacted to restore the line despite my complaints to their executives.

                            iam terrilible annoyed and taking the matter to consumer court.

                            can u help me in taking the company to consumer court and redress the greivance.

                            Airtel Postpaid Connection — discontinued service due to company negligence

                            I have a post paid mobile connection from airtel [protected], I had asked for a change in address as i had shifted house. No one from airtel came to confirm the address to the Amritsar cantt where I stay and now they have disconnected my service when i am out of Amritsar and am facing extreme haressment.

                            AirTel — Postpaid Mobile Connection disconnected

                            I’d lost my handset having SIM of ph. No. [protected] on 29-Mar-09 and thus requested to block the lost SIM to Customer Care

                            Then I left India for around 3 months and returned on 25-Jun-09.

                            Now I needed a duplicate SIM of the [protected]. So I called Customer Care on 27-Jun-09 for the same. They told me that they have permanently disconnected the no. as it was not used for more than past 3 months (Though the period is less than 3 months). Anyways I asked for duplicate SIM, the executive told me to go to any Airtel outlet and give an application and I’ll be given the SIM which will get activated within 4 hrs. CC Executive – Pankaj | Call no –[protected] &[protected]

                            So on the same day 27-Jun-09, I went to Airtel outlet in Sector-18, Noida which from first instance was quite an un-human place where no ACs were working, Drinking water served was too hot to drink and overall the behavior of the executives over there was quite pathetic. Anyways when I asked them to provide me the duplicate SIM they asked for some documents which seemed irrelevant to me and wasn’t possible for me to provide at that time. As per them the info given to me by Pankaj was wrong. So I called another time the Customer Care (CC Executive – Preeti | Call no –[protected] and lodged complaint about the airtel outlet and also the wrong information given by Pankaj and the phone disconnected in the midway.

                            Getting negative response from the Airtel outlet, I once again called Customer Care (CC Executive – Monica | Call no –[protected] and had to explain everything once again and she was helpless due to your policies. And asked me to mail to [protected]@airtelindia.com.

                            Now, I’ve few questions for which I need answers:

                            > Why my ph number was disconnected before 3 months? In between a bill has been paid for it.

                            > If disconnected then why not proper intimation or confirmation was given to me either by phone or email?

                            > When asked for reactivation, why not proper information for required document was passed to me?

                            > Why not the Airtel outlet is made a human place to visit?

                            > Why not the executives over there and at phone are given proper training to how to behave with the Customer and pass correct information?

                            > Where is my mistake for which I’ve to manage my work without phone? And spend so much of time in calling and writing mails.

                            > Why do I need to resubmit documents which I’d already submitted?

                            > Seeing all the problems with Airtel service above, why should not I close my account with Airtel and get my Advance Rental back?

                            Neither there Nodal Office nor Appelate has any satisfactory solutions to the problem.

                            I procured an Airtel Postpaid Connection from Chakala ARC on 04-Jul-2009. The service was activated on the same day.
                            The details of the connection are -

                            On 28-Jul-2009 the service was disconnected. I attempted contacting Airtel call center 5 times over 121 using my other Airtel postpaid numbers. Everytime I reported that I have a problem, the problem was heard and before any resolution can be obtained the call was disconnected.
                            I called up Airtel call center using my MTNL landline over [protected]. The call went through. I reported my problem and it was mentioned to me that the service was disconnected as the service was not used. In order to get this service activated I need to visit ARC.
                            How is it justified for disconnecting the service even though bill is paid well before due date?
                            How is it justified for disconnecting the service when it is not used?
                            Neither I nor any of my family member had instructed Airtel for disconnecting the service. Airtel did this disconnection on it's own without any intimation to me. Even while paying bill online there was no error or warning message mentioning that service was not used and will be disconnected. If that would have been the case I would not have even paid the bill.
                            Airtel is just out to make money and harass the customer without any reason. While accepting bill amount well in advance they have no hinderance. But, in order to activate the service they would not do it online or through call center. For that Airtel forces the customer to waste time and energy to travel to a ARC, wait in the QUEUE and then like an obligation will activate the service.
                            I am going to waste my time today (29-Jul-2009) evening visiting Chakala ARC (ARC from where I purchased this connection) to get this connection activated. Let me hope for the best.

                            Airtel Postpaid — my card is permanently disconnected without informing me

                            i am havin mobile number [protected] which i had took on 13th june 2009. the very next day they disconnected it for no reason. after visitin more then 6-7 times to airtel relationship centre and many calls on helpline they asked me to pay rs 5000 as dis is special number. i did the same..and the card got activated. but after 20 dayz it again got disconnected and when i asked the reason they told itz due to negative verification. verification was already done before but they told ityz not done. so i gave request for re-verification. for continuous 4-5 dayz i gave complaint but dey didnt done anything. but den in mail which i had send dem i had mention that i wil report this thing to consumer forum den they activated the next day itself and also told me your verification is positive. and now again today i.e. 06-08-09 they have permanently disconnected for no reason. this is my business number and already given to all of my clients and is on my visitin card also. i hv cleared my dues as well.

                            Yesterday i.e on[protected] i have lodged complaint for the difficulties i have faced in getting activation of my service from[protected] till yesterday ie[protected]. From 18 hours of[protected] onwards my service was activated and functioned till 18 hours of today. to my surprisingly my service/SIM was inactivated for the best reasons known to the airtel officials without any communication/information. this amounts deficiency of service. i once again requesting to take necessary steps in this regard SKSKSARMA

                            Airtel Post Paid — Service Disconnected

                            Hello,

                            I converted my prepaid Airtel number[protected] from prepaid to postpaid on January 29 by going to the Mahadevapura Airtel Relationship Center in Bangalore.

                            At that time I paid a deposit for 300 Rs and was told address verification would be done in the next 24 hrs. I chose the Turbo 299 plan and completed all the forms as well as provid identity and address proof along with two photos.

                            My connection got converted to the new SIM on Jan 30. The Address verification took place on February 1. Same day I got call from customer service welcoming me to Airtel and also icreasing my credit limit to Rs 2000/. I also received a paper letter confirming my plan as well as address from Airtel. I also signed up online to manage my account.

                            Yesterday while I am in Hyderabad, I receive an SMS saying Airtel has not received my documentation and my outgoing will be barred in 48 hrs. Because of all the activities mentioned above had happened I assumed it would be a mistake. Today within 24 hours my phone does not have any service( Outgoing ang incoming). I am in Hyderabad and in no position to visit an ARC in Bangalore till Friday.

                            I call up the Karnataka customer support and they tell me that I have not submitted my Subscriber Enrollment form. Can you please tell me if I have not done it

                            1) How did you enroll me in my Turbo 299 plan?
                            2) How did you send a welcome letter?
                            3) How did you call and increase my credit limit?
                            4) How could I sign up online?
                            5) How did your personnel complete address verification?

                            Even though I asked all these questions to the agent he was pretty rude and said that he cannot do anything as it is the document department who barred my number.

                            The whole thing does not make any sense to me and looks like the whole support infrastructure is poorly run and mismanaged. The only explanation I have is the document department or whatever has lost documents and is penalizing me for their mistake.

                            I request you to atleast activate my number till this Friday( Feb 12 2010) so tha tI have phone connection while in Hyderabad. I will visit the ARC and do the needful when I am back in Bangalore on Friday.

                            Airtel mobile connection — Disconnection of services

                            I requested airtel customer service located at shopprix mall, shop no. 225A and 225 B, sector 51,Noida to change the services of my mobile No. [protected] from postpaid to prepaid basis on 10 03.2010. I deposited all documents and got connectivity on 11.03.2010. All of sudden , phone was disconnected on 18.03.2010 through a message with the advice to contact the mobile shop.
                            Without the connection, my all activities were shattered. My family could not contact me in the morning from Australia as they call daily at 5.45 a.m. They were all under tension as I live here alone.
                            I am a senior citizen. I am not interested in any sort of compensation but service providers may please be asked to be helpful to the customers.

                            i am havin mobile number [protected] which i had took on june 2010. the very next day they disconnected it for no reason. after visitin more then 2-3times to airtel relationship centre and many calls on helpline . and when i asked the reason they told itz due to negative verification. verification was already done before but they told ityz not done. so i gave request for re-verification. for continuous 4-5 dayz i gave complaint but dey didnt done anything. but den in mail which i had send dem i had mention that i wil report this thing to consumer forum den they activated the next day itself and also told me your verification is positive. and now again today have permanently disconnected for no reason. this is my business number and already given to all of my clients and is on my visitin card also. i hv cleared my dues as well.

                            Before 4 days i have got a message please verify your account for that i have visited to miraroad ARc and submitted my documents and on 19/10/2010 they had disconnected my number without informing me later i talk to customer care but they were also not responed properly again i have talk with there sinior person Mr.Mehrul he had given me the number of Mr.asif khan i have called him he replied me that he dose not belong to Airtel and they had completed puzzled me throug this situation.

                            Airtel — Complaint against disconnection of postpaid mobile connection

                            Hi,

                            I wanted to bring to your notice a point of view of a utterly dissatisfied, disgruntled customer of yours who used to be a loyal customer for the past 10 years. I have been a loyal customer of Airtel for the past 10 years. You can check my credit history during the tenure and not a single bill has been defaulted. In fact, I have been paying my bills before the due dates. I have been loyal to Airtel which can gauged by the fact that all my family has a mobile connection from Airtel, I have a landline connection, broadband connection & DTH services from Airtel.

                            Problem story: I got a new mobile number from Airtel ([protected]) in the month of May 2011 under a corporate plan for HCL. I had planned to give this connection to my dad as he required it. The number had not been used due to some reasons. Today morning I called up customer care, since when I called the above mentioned number it was being mentioned as number does not exist. The response that I got was that the number has been disconnected since the month of July which came a big shock for me.

                            When I asked that why was I not informed about the disconnection beforehand, the response was really funny and ridiculous: “Sir, we informed you by SMS on the same number ([protected]) 3 days beforehand”. Now can someone put some commonsense in these guys to tell them that if a number is not being used for a certain time, then why are you sending notifications on the same number. Why do you guys take an alternative number and an email id along with the billing address? I was asked to visit an Airtel showroom to get the issue addressed. I asked for address near sector-18 Noida. I was given the address as “G-26 Savitri Market, sec-18 Noida”. When I reached the address, I was shocked to know that the airtel showroom has been shut down since the past 3 months. I was appalled that the customer care executives did not even care of the whole situation a customer of theirs is.

                            Important points from a dissatisfied customer:

                            1. The Airtel customer care has gone from being the best to bad to the worst now. Every time a customer calls for the same issue, he/she would get different responses. No one and I mean no one including the floor supervisors know how to talk in either Hindi/English. They keep the customer on dead air for endless times.
                            2. Airtel has stopped keeping its promises, I was told that I would be getting a call back from the backend team (I thought Airtel was one team) within maximum 2 hours, but I did not get it.
                            3. Airtel needs to re-check its SLA’s: How can you say that if a customer defaults the bill for a single day, we will charge extra amount and at the same time you take 72 hours to re-activate a connection which should not take more than 24 hours.
                            4. Airtel needs to make sure the processes laid down are followed to avoid customer dissatisfaction: Is there a process of getting in touch of the customer on an alternative contact number (which is taken while submitting the documents)? If yes, then it is currently not being followed.
                            5. Airtel needs to make sure its records (if not for the customer records, at least Airtel’s own records) should be updated. Airtel customer care does not itself know that their showroom has been shut down for the past 3-4 months.

                            Expectations: I have a very simple expectation from Airtel. Please let me know what do I need to do now regarding the mobile number ([protected])? If I do not get it re-activated, is there any expectation that Airtel has from me with regards to bill submissions,etc

                            Conclusion: At the end of all this conversations, where I spent almost half of my day fighting and debating with Airtel customer care trying to explain them that it is a mistake from their side and not mine (which their floor supervisors (Vijay Singh & Arun Kumar) agreed to), I had thought of putting a complaint against Airtel on the consumer forums court (which I eventually will). Also, in due course of time with the help of mobile number portability I would change my number from Airtel to any other Telecom company. I would also change my broad band connection and remove Airtel DTH services in due course of time.

                            In short, Airtel is going to loose a loyal customer very shortly.
                            No remorse has been shown by Airtel on losing a loyal customer. All i need is the Account number for the mobile number ([protected]) so that i can make a full and final payment and settle the dues

                              I am an Airtel DTH customer since a long time –
                              I have a concern with regard to digital TV services which I am facing,
                              and would like bring this to your attention Urgently.
                              I am based in pune and i m facing problem in my Digital TV (set top box ) from last 1 month and during this period i made lots of complaints but not a single visit was done by airtel .During this months period i received many calls from Airtel executives regarding whether my complain is resolved or not every time they called they were sorry and asked to give a chance and a days time. my complaint was registered on 18 April 2012 and is still pending on 14 may 2012. On top of that states top most authority to look after complaints the nodal officers office has people worst than government offices. These people promised to resolve issues within a day and here i am waiting for the resolution . Sorry state of airtel and our poor corrupt Indian government .

                              Hi,

                              It has been almost 40 days since my Airtel Digital TV Set-top box started mal-functioning. I must have made at least 15 complaints to the customer care but they gave aonly assurance and never bothered to get my problem rectified. Each time I called them, they used to give me one fresh date and when I told them that I have received the same assurance earlier, they would tell me that this time it will bes olved but till today they have not even bothered to contact me.

                              It is really shocking how shameless a company can be in this age of competition.
                              They will send you hundreds of SMS regarding the expiry of your account but will never bother to solve your problem.

                              I hope their nodal officers (rather sarkari babus) are seeing this complaint and take some action on this.

                              I also hope their CEO Mr Ajai Puri is also taking note of it and see how their sub-ordinates are running the company.

                              AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — No Response towards complaint registered

                              This is in regard to the complaint (Complaint No: 5971292) i had made to Airtel Digital TV Customer Care. I am very disappointed at the poor response of the company towards my complaint.My complaint was registered on Monday,till now no resolution has been made.I have been calling the customer care for a week now.

                              Kindly provide a solution ASAP.

                              I am a customer of AIR TEL DIGITAL TV ID- [protected], my set up box was not functioning so i took to the here customer care office in CRPF square Bhubaneswar, they changed and gave old one.Now that also got technical problem and I paid so it was repaired and again after 2 month the same probblem came.Now they are asking me Rs.350/-for old setup box which has only 3 month warranty.If you provide this kind of service then how can we manage?So please provide necessary service as soon as possible since I have recharged and now amount is getting deduct day by day.

                                my customer id is [protected]. on 11th march i recharged for rs. 100/- and subscribed kids plus 1+1 offer for rs 34/-. i.e. one month free. the connection got disconnected exactly on 11th of may. but now my balance should be rs. 66/- but it is zero balance now. Inspite of making calls to the customer care and spending nearly rs. 100/- for my discussion ,.. still the amount has not been credited to my account..

                                  I have complaint about Airtel mobile services, i had paid my bill on 05/03/2012 at airtel
                                  Fort outlet(kamdar tele communication) in Mumbai Rs. 900/- cash to
                                  executive who has noted wrong no. so i immediately informed him and he
                                  changed the no. to correct. but, i have not received payment confirmation till
                                  07/03/2012. Therefore, i visited again to outlet on 07/03/2012 to
                                  reconfirm about my payment confirmation. But they informed me the payment is
                                  not paid in their system,

                                  I spoke to another Executive at the outlet and he assured that he will make
                                  the changes & transfer the payment to my no. and gave me a Complaint no. i.e, 42489889.
                                  on 07/03/2012

                                  I received a call on 11/03/2012 from airtel that the payment is still not paid
                                  and i explain all these details to him, he also assured the payment will be
                                  transfered soon.

                                  I visited your fort outlet on 21/03/2012 again and discussed with Mr. Zaheer (outlet manager)
                                  about the issue but he assured the payment will be credited on my bill.

                                  I had rechecked my mobile no. status on another outlet and it is not showing
                                  any payment made in month of March

                                  I had receiving a text message regularly that my payment is overdue and i
                                  have already paid the amount on 05/03/2012.and i have handwritten receipt
                                  dated 05/03/2012.

                                  On 12/05/2012 my outgoing services are also stopped in spite of their fault which they were not able to solve till now.

                                  I have made my postpaid bill payment of Rs.620/- on 23.12.08 at NDR Lobby by cash. They gave me a voucher ( not receipt) with seal as an acknowledgment. But I found that my payment is not updated and I have even got a call from Airtel - Chennai to make my payment immdly. I have logged the complaint with Airtel ( ref.[protected] and told them to findout from NDR lobby why my payment not updated, but they inturn telling me go personally to NDR lobby to find out the problem. I think Airtel has become very worst in serving their customers.

                                  AirTel — Bill not updated

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  My number was [protected] which was ported to BSNL 2 months back, but before portability I went to the franchise of airtel to settle my due and they requested me to deposit Rs.180/- and so i did on 1th may,2011 and got my No Due Certificate.

                                  On 6th june,2011 i was again asked to deposit Rs.205/-.. I clarified that the amount has been paid and the receipt is with me. After that a number of calls were received from your customer care, delhi again asking for the payment, despite i have made it already and told them..
                                  And i also contacted the franchie to inform you regarding the payment.

                                  The franchie gave me the TX ID number[protected].
                                  Again on 16th june,2011 call from Delhi by number[protected] came and they gave me fax number[protected] to fax the receipt and i faxed it.

                                  They also wanted that i should speak to Mr. Amit (i don't knw him) and they also gave me one site- [protected]@in.aegisglobal.in.. I tried but this site in not available..

                                  A person called from Delhi to hold my line to talk to Mr.Amit and after that he said he'll call after an hour. Next day again same happend..

                                  Then I again contacted to franchise. he gave me the receipt number- [protected], dated 22nd june,2011..
                                  But on 30th june in evening, despite knowing that on saturday And sunday offices are closed, they disconnected my number without informing.

                                  I again contacted franchise and lodged complain with number- 267389..

                                  So it is requested to kindly look into the matter and get my number activated as soon as possible.. If any action is not taken by coming monday, then i shall be moving to consumer court lodging complaint against you people..

                                      I had purchased airtel digital tv my customer id is [protected], in month of may 2011, at the time of installation engineer has used third class of goods and charged for first class prise, now i had sifted in new place , transfre charges they have ask me ie. 200+12 per meter (wire charges), now they are saying that airtel has used useless goods it is local machine now they are asking money for changing all machienery kindly look in to the matter.
