Airtel India — Activation of service without permission

Dear sir/mam,
My phone no is [protected]. I got a promotional message at 12:29pm on 1st December, 2010 from Airtel that "Sri Ram ki katha apne airtel phone pur suniye. Dial karein *0* for FREE". When i dialed this number, i heard the advertisement regarding activation of RAMAYAN service and cost for that, then i do not activate the service and cut my phone call. But i got the message at 8:35 on pm on same day that , your rs. 10 has been charged for subscribing Ramayan. I dont know when i subscribed. When i called customer care , then they said that you should call 121 for taking information before dialing *0* although it was said free and calling 121 is aso not free. So it means , airtel gives the offer to provide knowledge about its service for free and in advertisement it also tells about cost and method of activation, but when customer does not activate its service, then It forcefully activates that service and charges for that.
So you are kindly requested not to misguide and cheat the customer, because if one service provider looses its reputation among the people, then it is not good for that company and it is well known fact that mouth to mouth advertisement is the most effective way of advertisement.
Thus you are requested to return my money that has been charged. If i would have been desire for that service , i would not have been unsubscribe without completion of service validity although when i lost my money for that.. Hoping for your kind attention.

Airtel India — Services activated without my permission

You are sending & activated your different scheme on my mobile without my confirmation and deducting your charges from my balance for the same. . I do not want any your such scheme in future. So please note do not activate any your scheme on my mobile. My Mobile No.[protected].Why you are stealing people money like this. It is dangerous as many of my friends are already thought of switching to other services.Please maintain dignity. Customers are not Fools to activate what they don't want. I certainly get all these from your services for the past 3 months. If you steal 30 rs for one month and that is for 10000 customers then the amount counts to 30 lakhs. It is a robbery act.
Tata docomo is doing the same, not just to me but to all of my frnds who have docomo service.I guess all networks do such stuff because 90 % of the time people think its a waste of effort to complain for their money

      Recieved arround 50 calls from airtel collection agency. Same guy called me all the times nd as i pik call everytime he started abusing me.. The number from which i recieved a call is "[protected]"
      Then after some time i tried calling o. The above number but no one is picking up my call...kindly take some strict action against this number as soon as possible.

        i accidenlty entered wrong pin so now it asks for PUK number

        i tried to cal assam airtel cus care but didnt get proper response so pls understand my current situation since i get all my official calls via this postpaid sim cug 99 pack

        or atleast give any phonenumber to whom i can speak with / email id.. i am stuck here

          I have been an airtel customer for over 8 years. I am using airtel services for postpaid connection, DTH, 3g Datacard and broadband(till last year). I was using Airtel broadband airtel connection number -[protected] for over 2 years in Koramangala, Bangalore at my old residence. Was happy with the service and payments from my end were all done on time(have records for the same).
          Last year on September 7th 2011 (4 days before shiftng), I called up the customer care and requested to shift my connection to my new residential location at Malleshpalya, CV Raman nagar, Bangalore. Request was accepted and I was informed that the connection from the current location would be taken down and shifted to the new location. I removed the phone and router after raising the request. I received the bill till that period for which I made payment as usual, well before the due date.
          Till the day of shifting no one from airtel came to remove the connection. When I called up the customer care I was asked to carry the landline and WiFi router to the new location and some one from airtel would come within 2 days to set it up and till then .
          After repeated calls to customer care I finally raised request via email on 25th September 2011. Part of the content of the mail was -

          "I have shifted to a new location in Bangalore now. I had lodged a request for shifting my connection to my new house location on 7th September, and till date (25th September, 2011) I have not received any response. In between when I called up customer care myself I was told that the request is already closed. They took a new request and promised me that it will be resolved within two days. I called up customer care again after 3 days and again I was promised that it will be resolved in one more day or else it will be escalated to higher level(whatever that means). Till now I have not received any response from the customer care or from your technical team. When I called up your customer care again today I was told that the ticket has been closed(again) ".

          Even after this, the issue was not resolved and there were a couple of repeated mails sent. Finally after almost 1 month on 4th October 2011 I received a call from airtel stating that they can not provide broadband connection in my new location in Malleshplaya at the moment due to technical difficulties hence I was offered Airtel 3G data card free of cost. After thinking over for a couple of days I accepted the datacard stating that I still want broadband connection as soon as the technical issues are fixed. In october, I recieved 2 calls from Airtel stating that payment for [protected] is due for the month of Sept-Oct. I informed him that this number has been in-active since 8th September due to shifting issue and in replacement to that I have been given a 3G datacard by your retention department. They agreed and said they will close issue then.

          I am still not happy with the 3G data card service and even in January, 2012 I had sent a mail again to Airtel if the issue has been fixed since I am waiting to get Broaband connection for months. This was the response again-

          Thank you for writing to airtel and the opportunity to assist you.

          This is in reference to your email regarding a new connection at Sri Sri enclave apartment, 10th main,11th cross, maruthi nagar, Malleshpalya-75.

          We regret to inform you that, currently, we would be unable to provide you a connection at the above mentioned address due to some technical constraints in the area.

          Please do write in for any further assistance.

          Now three days back at 3:15 pm, I got a call from +91-[protected] by Stayendra Yadav, Section Department, Batch no. 86. He said that he is calling from Delhi district court and that I was served 4 Legal notices of the Chargesheet against me for which I have not responded to any. Also that, there is fourth and final hearing at 4pm (on the same day) in Delhi district court at which If I fail to appear I would be facing Strict Legal action and hefty fine of around Rs. 24000. I told him that I have not received any of the notices and I am not even aware of any chargesheet against myself. He was extremely rude and said that he does not care about that. Finally, he gave me the govt. lawyers number who would have the case details. He also provided me the case number- 81237/2012. The govt. Lawyer was Miss. Sudeshna no. +91-[protected]. When I called her she said that she is the govt lawyer and the chargesheet against me has been filed by Airtel for non-payment of bill amounting to Rs.970. She told me to take this very seriously as this is now a state transfer case which has been moved from Karnataka to Delhi. When I informed her that I have not received any notices nor I was aware of such charges, she suggested me to go to any nearest Airtel office and make payment of Rs.970 before 4pm and provide her with the receipt number so that she can send a stay order. After this I could go to consumer court with the proofs and for not receiving any notices from Airtel.

          I got really scared and stressed and ran to to the airtel shop and paid Rs.970 for something I never used and for no fault of mine. I have 5 mail conversations with acknoledgement from airtel starting from September 2011 to Jan 2012 stating they cannot provide Broadband connection. Plus, I have the bills and records of the payment made to Airtel and Rs.970 as payment made last week after being threatened legal action and fine of Rs.24000.

          I consulted another lawyer as well and was suggested to report this to consumer court and send a legal notice to Airtel for Harrasment and fraud. This is the first step in that direction. I am reporting this here. If there is no response and action taken by Airtel then I will be sending a legal notice.

          Airtel — harrrasment & failing to atttend request

          i submitted request on 6th december with all neccessary documnets & paid billed as well unbilled amount.
          even after person visits so many times nothing has been done so far.

          although i was contacted on pohone for confirmation of details, no progress yet.

          now i am planning to cut off from airtel & move to consumer court

          Airtel — Harrasment on late payment on prior to the commitment of the payment.

          Hello sir, Due with respect I would like to inform you that I was not able to pay the dues of Airtel postpaid connection of Rs 1700, since 4 months due to some lack of money as recession over firm and family responsibility on head. My connection was already diactivated, and after 3 months suddenly a call from an agent named Rohit Sharma has come, he asked the reason for due payment, I had clarified him that I will make payment as soon as I get my salary within 2-4 days. At one day he said ok, but on next day itself he called me back, I assured him to make payment at evening, but due to critical situations I could not achieve the commitment. On next day morning he called me up, I assured him that by evening the payment will be done. But then he started threatening me that I should make payment by 12 afternoon. On that I too loosed my temper and told him that I will do by evening before that it is not possible. On reaction of this he started calling up my associates and colleagues including girls and used rude languages with them also. I know that I was on a fault of late payment, but I had requested him and assured him that I will make payment, as soon as I will be feasible. The complaint is that, without my knowledge he should not have contacted my colleagues especially girls and use rude language. He should keep contacting me and follow me up.

          AirTel — Harrasment for the Bill Payment

          I made the request to discontinue service for my Airtel Broadband number[protected] in December 2010, still Airtel is continuously sending me the bills and asking for the payments, I am harassed by Airtel mentally and want to lodge a complainant for the same.

          Airtel — Harrasment for bill payment against connection which was never used

          Airtel Team,

          Even after loggin a complaint and clarifying with Service Provider that there was no usage of said Landline connection, the company has came from its level. Also response from Mr. Rakesh Ranjan clearly specifies that the problem has been resolved, which means there is no due on me for Airtel. The response was against an older complaint logged against Bharti Airtel.
          Yesterday there was a call at 2:50 PM from a so called Advocate Mr. Abhishek Gupta([protected]) from Delhi informing that a case under section 420 was registered in my name in Delhi High Court. He asked me to pay the bill of Rs.2199=00 in 1 hour else he will forward the file to Magistrate, once that is done I will have to attend the court proceedings in Delhi on Monday 31st Oct 2011 with a fine of Rs.22,000=00. Also I will have to bring 2 bails (jamanati) of Rs.8000=00 each.
          Since currently I'm undergoing financial as well as mental turnmoil due to my mother's serious illness I decided to pay the amount to avoid any tension and left in search of Airtel Relationship Centre. At 5:30 I reached the ARC to pay the bill all I found was closed shop. This I intimidated to Mr Gupta, then he asked me that it was OK if I pay the bill next day by 12:00 PM.
          There are many flaws in Company behaviour:
          1. I have not cheated still a case under section 420 is applied on me (infact its the Company that is fraudulently trying to get money from my pocket).
          2. I don't understand that 10 times fine has to be paid for any such cases (this seems to be frightening technic so that customer agrees to pay the small amount).
          3. If it was OK to pay the bill by 12 PM of 29th Oct. 2011 why the person tried to harrass me mentally that it has to be paid on that day itself.

          I would like bring the attention of government towards company's such harrasments in cases where consumers are not defaulters of any bill payment and are innocent.

            I have been using Airtel Blackberry(BB) services for quite some time now.But today since evening my Blackberry services have been blocked.It doesn't show Edge on the home screen.Its been showing as GSM because of which I have been not able to browse internet. So I called the Airtel BB customer care nos...All of them comes as no unobtainable.But everytime they charged for all the calls. So I called the Gprs helpline. Even that is not getting connected. So I called the 121 which is the Airtel customer care. If am not exaggerating I spoke to 15 executives and 4 supervisors. They just went on either disconnecting my calls half way through or give wrong info or ask to call on Airtel BB helpline nos. When I told them no those nos are unobtainable they to my surprise said you have no other option. I pay rs.399 monthly for the internet services and they have blocked it. I am mentally disturbed by this. How do I go about this issue?

              Airtel staff at Gallery informed me this number has been blocked, then I had Tel conversation with Ms.Jayna Staff of Airtel Gallery according to her this number has been Permanently disconnected on the March 21st and Recycled and allotted to another person on April 21st,

              Ms.Smita I have 2 numbers under my name and both numbers were used last on the Dec 23rd 2011 before leaving out of India

              I don't understand policy of your company ( Airtel ) You all have disconnected one number just because of the number not being in use fr more then 3 months but I want to understand why my other number is not being disconnected which I had used last on the same date Dec 23rd ???

              Pls kindly note I have been using this number for more then 6 to 7 years and I had my balance amount in my number I would like to request you to give me back my number with balance else I will make a official complain to TRY,

                I hve registr my number against DND facility of airtel on 20.11.09,after 45 days they started to give me promotional calls,then i lodge a complaint in customer care near about 4 times ragarding the same ,evry tym they forward my complaints and assure me tht after 10.12 days u wll not get any promotional calls nd evn sms...but they r rediculous startd thr routine wrk. stll continiously giving me promotional calls.......airtel people r just bad....they r good for nothng......can any1 help me to get rid off frm ths problm.....

                I am using airtel mobile services since a long time, but now a days I feel that the service of Airtel has worsened, as this is being using commercial use only and as customer I also feel that due to airtel, I am very disturbed due to unwanted calls at any time- day or night. I had registered for DND too more than two month back, but no result. I had also contacted to your CCE, but again no reult, even they refused to do anything and cut the call. Why airtel is doing so to harass its customer?
                Even sending the email many time to you, you are also not taking action, Why?

                  Dear Sir/Ma'm,

                  I am using Airtel Friends Prepaid card with Life Time Validity.
                  Few days back, I got message that the validity is over on 22/04/2012 and I will have to do validity recharge of Rs. 99 and it will give no talk time.
                  But, my card is life time and I queried balance it showed correct balance Rs. 216 and validity till 22/07/2012.
                  I called customer care and they said I must recharge for validity.. Helpless I went to recharge and tried 3 times.. It said recharge NOT successful.
                  After that I got message that "Sim card registration failed".

                  Can you please look into this, how can these people say that validity is finished even if three months are remaining.. on the top of that, they blocked my sim card without giving any prior notice.

                  Please look into the matter..

                  Airtel — Regarding blockage of sim without prior notice

                  Hello Sir,
                  I have been using this connection since 5 years but such a problem has never occured.But now it has been 1 month since i have not been able to use my number as it has been disconnected by the people of AIRTEL.Despite my regular complaints and requests no action has been taken yet.Moreover there is a balance of Rs.1400/- still in my card.So i request the consumer forum to take an action as i am a senior citizen and my day to day communications have been blocked.

                  Airtel — Blocking sim card without any notice or message

                  Dear Sir,
                  My husband Mr. Pravin Jagannath Bendale is using Airtel Sim card Number [protected]. Company has blocked sim services before 10 days. After inquiring they told us to submit the documents. Documents are submitted. But still he is not getting the service. Every time the customer care representative is telling different reasons. He used my number for talking with the customer care representative now they are not taking any call from my number.

I HAVE ALREADY CLEARED THE LAST BILL AMOUNT.THEY HAVE ASKED ME TO PAY RS 800 AND THEN THEY WILL OPEN THE OUT GOING FACILITY. BUT AFTER PAYIN THE AMOUNT OF RS 850/ ON 27TH APRIL VIDE CASH RECEIPT NO [protected]( TRANSACTION ID). BUT THEY ARE NOT READY TO OPEN THE OUTGOING SERVICES.

                    IS THIS THE WAY THE CUST CARE EXECUTIVE REPRESENT FRAUDLENT PRACTICES TO CUSTOMERS?
                    IS THE AIRTEL SHOWING THE POWER TO US?

                      Today I received the following message from Airtel:
                      "Thank You for choosing AirtelTV on your airtel mobile. You have been charged Rs.150.0 for 30 days
                      and your account balance post charging is 135.19 at 14:32"

                      I have never subscribed to this service by clicking a link or sending an SMS. Now I find that Rs.150 is deducted from my account. I called up customer care about this and they are telling that since I am a 3G user, I may receive links to subscribe to Airtel mobile TV and accidentally I might have clicked one. But I have never received any links or clicked any. Airtel is purposefully nicking money from the customers without their proper knowledge or consent. Two months back without my knowledge, I was subscribed to Kannada movie news and Cricket updates (for which I needed to go and unsubscribe).
                      In these type of situation, Airtel always tries to escape telling that the customer has subscribed to the services. But I strongly feel that a company like Airtel after building up a good reputation are trying to cheat customers in the dirtiest ways possible. I am not the only one with these experiences. Please investigate into this issue.

                      Airtel India — Being charged without service

                      I have been travelling for the last 5 months and not using my Airtel number. Even then I am accruing charges on the number. When I check for the sim on my phone, it says limited service. When I called Airtel from a landline I was told I need to get a new sim and my airtel services are on. But, my phone does not work. I cannot get a new sim immediately because I am traveling and not in Hyderabad.

                      When I call Airtel I am told my number is working but I cannot change any services because I need to send an sms from my phone, butu my phone is not working and I cannot get a new sim because I am not in Hyderabad.

                      Suddenly after 4.5 months I get a call saying my number was disconnected 5 months back and I need to pay more than 3.5K for it to be activated. I need to pay the amount otherwise a court order will be released. I got this call with a "warning" everyday on my landline.

                      Even after I pay the amount (without having used my number), the sim has no service.

                      Being billed for no reason. Cannot disconnect either.

                        i m Having 2 airtel numbers with same ([protected], [protected]) doc. is same for both numbers.
                        one no. ([protected]) has been suspended (becoz docmnt was not matching)
                        MY ANOTHWER NO.([protected]) IS WORKING... docmnt is same for both numbers ...

                        BUT WHY NOBADY HAS CALLED BEFORE SUSPENDING NUMBER ??
                        FOR BILL PAYMENT they WILL CALL so many times...!! WHY NOT FOR SUPESPENTION???
                        IT IS VERY MUCH CRITICAL for customer ... THESE MEANS they will CARE ONLY MONEY... NOT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION...

                          Sir,

                          I have canceled my Airtel broadband (A/c No:[protected] in the month of December and cleared my outstanding amount and got the "No Due Certificate" from airtel on 08th of March 2012.

                          Now i have re-activated the account with different plan (Plan 749) and my current outstanding for this plan is just Rs. 117.

                          But i am getting lot of calls from collection department asking for the payment of Rs. 2544/-. And now again my broadband has been de-activated due to non-payment.

                          Please address this issue at the earliest and IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUE, THEN PLEASE CONSIDER THIS AS A "REQUEST FOR CANCELLATION OF MY BROADBAND"

                              I have been using Airtel postpaid connection for last 7 months earlier prepaid. From month one have been paying the bill regularly. I wanted to switch the netwrk operator but Airtel refused as i need to clear the billed amount. On the month of Feb 3 2012 i got MSG from Airtel saying need to pay rupees 1900/-. I went and paid the amount thinking that i pa. Now on 6th of Feb 2012 i got another msg from Airtel that i need to pay rupess 2500/- this is worst worst of all communication provider very bad. The customer support for Airtel is very pathetic. when i called the cust support he had no answer for the question that i asked " why wasn't your system updated when i paid the amount 1900/- and wht amount is this 2500/-....put the call on hold for 10 mins. when i also decided to pay the 2500/- so for getting in prepaid in the same monthe when visited the gallery they told dat i have to pay Rupess 6500/- the total amount to get rid out of postpaid to prepaid.....when i refuse to pay. i kept getting the call and sms. when finally out of irritation when i answered the call and the complete payment the customer support (Iqbal - [protected]) said " sir your total amount that you need to pay is 8200/-..look at the increasing amount. I refused to pay now the support guys said we will give you a "WAIVER OF 2200/- BUT KINDLY PAY THE REMAINING AMOUNT 6500 AND YOU GET YOUR NUMBER CONVERTED TO PREPAID. The very next day i paid the the amount 6500/- in the gallery. He further said " After one week you come to the Gallery for the conversion to prepaid....but i went after 1 month. The shop guys said sir our system is not updated with the waiver details we can proceed with your prepaid details please pay ruppees 2200. This really made me go crazy and made me fell how worstttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt and worsttttttttttttttttttttt is Airtel support. From the gallery when i called the customer care guy iqbal on the same number he said am santosh here. Now just i spoke about my case...he said "siirrrr...we will updated it and you will get it done and disconnected the call......a worst pathetic communication and very bad behavior. Now the Shop guys called the retention team (Siddesh sr.agent)so that i could speak with them.....i had to explain again the whole scenario....he simply said sir we can give waiver of just 500 rupees not 2200 please do not worry we have taken this case seriously and will speak with agent who assured you the waiver of 2200 and will call you in nxt 48 hrs". To be honest to didnt even take the number of the retention guy siddesh hoping he will call......but he didnt call. Please lOOK into this case. Very bad AIRTEL...shame on your service.
                              I strogly agree to the above complaint.

                              Personally i feel this is the worst customer service.. i lost one phone along with its SIM, i had to go to airtel office 5-6 times to get a response when i was in hyderabad for getting a duplicate sim. 6th time they have told this connection is not on your name so u cannot get a duplicate sim and i was using that connection more than a year as well. Finally to avoid the head ache i left that particular connection and went for an idea connection.. and i would say idea serve 100 times better than airtel.

                              Later when i was issued with an official airtel connection, i tried to register it online. they have provided me a password which never works.

                              what a service is this yar? i really doubt whether this company is looking forward for their future survival atleast.

I want to file an complain against Airtel mobile service provider.I am using Airtel services and my number is [protected]. I was suffering with bad services and unnecessary balance cut from my prepaid connection. Whenever I tried to talk to customer care, got always harsh n unsatisfactory response.Then I requested to port my no to Aircel mobile service provider. My 1st request was registered on 29th of March. After that Airtel people called me and insist me not to port the number by offering the cheapest call rate for life time without any extra charges.But I refused to do so and asked them to port my no ASAP.They told me that it is in process and within 72 hours it will be done. But It's been long time.After that i requested twice again. Second on 4th april and 3rd on 13th april.But now they are not even responding. When I call they do not show much interest and say that talk to Aircel people. I talked in to Aircel they said that they are waiting from Airtel to portation of my no to Aircel network. Sir/Madam I am a Business man(Legal Contractor). Due to this Behavior of Airtel I am completely disconnected from my business network and suffered with huge loss in my business by loosing so many tender issued by Bihar Government.

                                Sir/Madam, I request you to consider my problem and to take appropriate action.

                                  I have been having issue with Airtel internet connection from past 1 month. When I raised the complaint first in this month, Service executive has come and told that My Modem has issues and it has to be repaired once it was told to me that he can get the Modem or I can buy one. Since he is from Airtel, I have decided to get from him even if its costing more, thinking that it will be good one.

                                  From the day I got this modem (Binatone DT815 Black), I have been having issue with Frequent Disconnection. When I read in Internet, I found that this modem is having issues and its one of the worst in Market. I called up customer care and got to know that they do not give service for the Modem.

                                  In this Month, I have raised around 7 complaints and the issue is fixed for that day and again it appears. One complaint which I have raised on 24th April (Complaint No.[protected], there is no response. Im calling them twice in a day and they just say some story. I have been using Airtel from past 6Years and have not seen such a worst Service.

                                  Airtel, please give proper Service. For the cost which Im paying, I get very good service from a local provider but still I have preferred Airtel because of its Service which Im regretting now.

                                  AirTel — NOT GETTING PROPER SERVICE

                                  This is to in form you that i am using a airtel network for a long period of time but now for the last fifteen days i have been facing a problem of low network coverage. I am unable to talk and communicate which is affecting my business at the same time.Would further request you to look into this problem or i fear i wouldnt clear the bill for the last month since i am not geting the adequate services.Hope the concerned authorities wil look into this matter.Therefore i want you to givme in this wriiten whenever the problem gets resolved .
                                  COMPLAINED SO MANY TIMES THAT THE AIRTEL NETWORK AT UTARLAI, BARMER IS NOT EFFECTIVE. CALLS LANDING ON SOME OTHER NUMBER, ONE SIDED CALLS, INTERMITTENT VOICE...THE LIST GOES ON BUT WHAT IS AIRTEL DOING ABOUT IT...ARE THEY SLEEPING. EVERY WRONG CALL, WASTED CALL IS BEING CHARGED. WHY THEN IS THE COMPLAINTS FALLING ON DEAF EARS.
                                  I had a connection with the number [protected]. I have already surrendered this number 3 months back but yet receiving the bill in every month. I have told this issue to customer care several time but the result is nill. Please do work on this and close this issue urgently.

                                  I have prepaid connection of Airtel and my cell no. is [protected] in the month of January 09 there was a scheme of 100 National messages free by recharge of Rs 26/-.

                                  So I got recharged my mumber also in above scheme. When i started to send national sms, I found that Airtel had charged Rs. 1.50/- per sms.
                                  I also had sms scheme 360 local sms by rechage of Rs. 36/-. But airtel has charged the national sms charges from my 36/- lacoal sms scheme.
                                  In this regard i have talked at their customer care center, but they didn't respond at all.
                                  Kindlay look into the matter and take necessory action so that other customer also can get solution of this type of problem.
                                  I am facing the call drop and network conjuction in Airtel for more than 5 Months
                                  I am not able to speak for a single minute also.
                                  I am totally disappointed with airtel service.

                                  I had given the complaints more than 12 times.

                                  But no response .i am totally suffered a lot

                                  Please look in to this and help for the resolution.

                                  I have raised a request to add a channel on 6th of May and i was told that the channel will be added in 5 days. But 13 days have passed and no action has been taken from Airtel DTH service provided. From 12 of May i am calling daily the customer care and asking for a resolution, they say that the service will be provided by tomorrow when ever i call, till this day i haven't seen any resolution.

                                  Please provide me details what i can do to compensate for my time and frustation i am facing by this service provider.
                                  Sir iam back again this time .when BSNL are offering DSA sales in urban area why cannot AIRTEL people do so. We are not in good terms with the distrubutor i.e., runner boy sulfi no. [protected] and the manager madu [protected].                                   i have been applied for an airtel broadband connection two months back and the plan name is fibernet plus 15gb/8mbps speed.still the connection has not been given to us the agent has got 1000rs in advance but after that no response from him if i call he is not picking up the call this is how airtel agents build relation with customer. after an month i got an call from airtel office stating there as an issue in connection so only it has been delayed and asked them why the agent is not responding us properly for that they said if you have any issues you can contact this number after 10days i called back to that number one guy took and said this is airtel security department no so you cannot be connected and said he will inform the agent to call me back but no one called me again i called to that same number but no repsonse. this is how they treat the customers? i did't expect this from airtel. airtel is one of the worst network. pls i need to get an solution for this please help me with these. the agent gave me an slip with serial number- TNPB490330 the connection is for perumbakkam area, chennai and i have submitted all the necessary documents so please kindly look forward on it

                                    every month airtel service provide deduct 50 rupees from my prepaid account. even this service is not used by me . or this service is already stopped by company itself 1 year back (mobile internet service pack of rupees 99). every time i call them for not doing such things . some times they refund my money . after lots of herculeon task.n every time m assured by company that they will not repeat this in future, they irritates me a lot even loss of my precious time.please help me .

                                    I recharged with the sum of 110.00/- at 3 March 2009 because I got a message from airtel to recharge with 110 and get a 1 year validity. i got a 1 year validity but my plan will be change Before recharge my plan was Airtel Campus But After recharge the plan will be Airtel Friends by Airtel . I also complain costomer care as well as cutomer relationship center 5-6 times but no action will be taken by them. I also sends mail to [protected]@airtelindia.com but i can't get positive response from airtel.Now 72 hours have gone but no action has been taken by Airtel.

                                    i am using this number ([protected])for past 3 years.i had sent a sms for port out on last month as i had recived a sms as that u had a surprice offer that i can make calls to airtel to airtel @ 10ps and other mobiles @ 30ps for one month as after one month my plan had changed to one sec without any information as i want my old plan back as i had recharged for airtel to airtel @ 30ps and othermobiles @ 50ps with 10000 sms free for 7 months still 4 months i have offer. I need waiver for that rate saver pack and calls which i had made till my plan change other wise wishing to change my number to some other network

                                    I have called 198 for the clarification regarding the sms charges on 02nd May 2011. During the call the executive said he will transfer the call to his superior and immediately the line gets cut. This happens whenever they dont have a answer. And immediately I received a message saying that my hello tunes were stopped and I had to call to activate this. The call charges will be Rs.3/min. Again I called 198 to clarify the stoppage of hello tunes, they very clearly say you have called some time before and you have requested for this which actually I have not done. I told the executive that please check the recordings of our conversation and he says that no such facility is available. When asked to activate the HELLO TUNE service, they say that the charges will levied. During the call the executive said he will transfer the call to his superior and immediately the line got cut. When tried to call 198 again I am not able to do it. They have renewed the subscription 2 days back. Now and then Airtel has been taking off my money. You may please check the complaints given to them and no such remedies have been taken only some SMS saying that we have rectified or will be taken care.
                                    same thing with me, i recharge my account on 02 May2011 and used only 20 rupees tariff.and when i check the balance it was 25 Rs on 03 May. i called on 198, during talking with reprentative, call get disconnected. i again and again tried on 198 but unable to talk. so suggest me. my no.                                     I recharged my prepaid mobile phone using MTOPUP SMS Service. An amount of Rs. 205 was debited from my account and it was credited to an account called "Dedicated account". Why was the amount not credited to the main account? My main account balance is showing a balance of Rs. 12. 40 only even after the recharge. What is a "Dedicated account"? Is this some kind of scheme started by Airtel to cheat the customers?

                                      I Autorenewed sms pack worth Rs. 64 on my number [protected] but the cost of sms sent went on getting deducted from my main account balance.
                                      Customer care service people gave me a day later's date for the issue to get resolved, not only the issue was unresolved but calls stopped getting connected to customer care service so i tried calling Airtel customer care service from a new number '[protected]'. This call was also disconnected right in the middle of my discussion with the Airtel Customer care executive followed by which 45 Rs were deducted from this new number with a sms that 'Hello Tunes' have been subscribed and then again 15 Rs were deducted with a sms that 'Anar kali disco chali' hello tune has been subscribed.

                                      I had no such discussion ever with the customer care executive the call was all about the previous numbers issue and i guess they do record these calls but now Airtel people are not allowing both the number '[protected]' and '[protected]' to connect to customer care service.

                                      Kindly give me some solution for this.

                                      AirTel — Deducting Balance for unsubscribe Services

                                      This is in regards to the balance deduction from my account by activating the unsubscribed services for Dance Club subscription and within every three days they are charging Rs.10 for the renewal of service till date they have deducted Rs.50-60 for an unsubscribed service.While calling on 198 they don't listen and block my Number ,So that I can't call further .They are also not allowing me to talk to their senior representatives.
                                      While sending message STOP to 121 ,I got the message that no services have been activated on your account ,then also the deduction continues for renewal of service.
                                      While sending message for Number Portability PORT to 1900 still I have not received the 8-digit code.

                                      Really these guys are troubling customers a lot,I will have to take some strict action against them.

                                      You should port from Airtel to any other company of your choice. You can visit www.airtel.in & search nodal officer, contact him for you issue. You can also lodge a complaint to TRAI to get help from them also. Make a chain of awareness among your friends & relatives to save their money also from Airtel.
                                      Airtel Mobile company is providing cheap & new schemes daily.
                                      Do you know how is it doing so ? What is the secret?
                                      One more question.
                                      Do you know how many Value Added Services(VAS) are fixed on your mobile number by mobile company without your consent ?
                                      Airtel Mobile company is fixing/applying unwanted VAS on your mobiles & you may or may not know.
                                      This is one of the secrets of above question.
                                      Many customers including senior citizens visit my shop daily to get their mobile recharged. They have been complaining always about deductions by the mobile companies. Among all of these I found a customer (Age 70 Years) of Airtel on whose mobile Airtel Company has applied a record number of SIX VAS such as Facts 55382, Job Alerts, Airtel Call Manager, Karwa Chauth Pack, Kareena Kapoor, All Cricket Pack.
                                      Airtel company has been deducting a huge amount from his credit balance every month mercilessly. ( For proof I have images of his screen)
                                      *Suppose for example you or any of your friend/known have an Airtel mobile connection.
                                      You can check it like this.
                                      1. Send ' STOP' to 121
                                      (HAVE YOU SENT)...OKAY
                                      You will get back a message like this if their is a VAS on you mobile.
                                      "The following services are active on your mobile. To reply type the serial number of the service that you wish to 'STOP' "
                                      1...
                                      2...
                                      3...
                                      4...
                                      5...
                                      6...& so on

                                      You can know from above message that how many VAS are applied on your mobile by the company. If you want to STOP these services then follow the steps.
                                      REPLY '1'
                                      You will get one more message from the company to confirm again.
                                      REPLY '1'
                                      Follow these steps untill you get a message that.
                                      " Kindly note there are no services active on your Airtel number."
                                      *After this send one more message to activate DND like this
                                      'START space 0 to 1909'
                                      You will get a message to confirm
                                      Reply 'YES'

                                        Hi,

                                        My name is Parvathy.V.This is to lodge a complaint against Airtel service which promises to deliver the connection within 2 working days and there is no sign of any connection after a weeks time. An executive named Santhosh( Mob no:[protected]) and his engIneer (Mr Raghavendra: [protected]) promised me an airtel broadband connection wIthin 2 working days and collectd my documents & Rs 1200/ from me without any reciept on 20th April. Now they are not answering my calls and they have blocked my phone number. I am unable to get through to their number and this is extremely annoying. I want my money back or these people should be sued in court for mental harrassment.If they cannot provide the connection they can pick up the phone and answer me. I request an redressal for the same.
