My Airtel broadband is not working for the last 8 days (Fixed line no - [protected])
I had raised this complaint several times to Airtel customer care (service req nos[protected] &[protected], then to the nodal officer (service request no[protected], and finally to Airtel appellate authority email id (serv req no[protected].
After a lot of false promises, NOBODY has yet called up to solve the problem, or even ask me what the problem is.
On 05/03/2012, after sending an email, somebody called up from Airtel, claiming to be from the Airtel Appellate Office, and assured that something will be done by 5:04 PM. I also received an email (from airtel appellate office) stating that the issue will be resolved by 06/03/2012, by 4:30PM. But as of now, it is 3:25 PM, and nobody has still contacted me for any resolution.
Whenever I call customer care, all they can say that your profile is not updated in the back-end, that is why broadband is not working. Can somebody tell those , that if my profile is not updated, then how come I received proper bills (paper bills) at my CORRECT address with my CORRECT name for the last 2 months????
So I just have one single question - IS AIRTEL BEING RUN BY A BUNCH OF OR JOKERS?
If that is not the case, then why is that no one - Customer Care, Nodal Officer or even the Appellate Authority - is able to solve the problem - or even look into it even after 8 days??? And how come EVERY single person in Airtel is lying and making false promises about solving the issue???
I think its better to disconnect Airtel Broadband permanently and move on to another service provider, since Airtel service quality has become pathetic!

Well, I am facing quite a lot of difficulties with the poor service rendered by HDFC in the following ways,
1. Whenever a call is made to contact an executive, the reception desk enquires for the detailed history and tries to avoid giving the line to the executive concerned. For this she uses statements like, “He has gone for lunch, tea or not available”
2. Not even a single time I was given the line to discuss with the executive concerned. Many times they say they would transfer the line and the connection gets cut off. Why is this inhuman activity?
3. For every Cheque disbursement, they would promise a date and I will go there, after applying leave; but they will allot me another date for issue of the same. Is it fair?
4. They will announce a date for inspecting the progress of the Site and we will be waiting; they would not turn back. Lot of false promises.
5. They do not understand the value of time and make people roam about.
6. From the day 1, I am facing hell a lot of stress from the poor response of HDFC
I think I had done mistake banking with HDFC.
I am sure if this continues, HDFC will be earning a bad image in the society and deteriorate slowly.
Globalization has brought India to greater heights and today every citizen is aware of all the improvements/developments. There is a heavy competition in almost all the fields. Only sectors that offer a good customer service will sustain. Others will perish.
