Please help me to claim the services for the money I paid or atleast get my money refunded.

My USB Data Card Details:

Make : HUAWEI MOBILE BRADBAND E1731
Model : E173Bu-1
IMEI: [protected]
S/N: 8CA4CA[protected].

CULPRITS : Miss Meghana ( @ [protected]) sale person
Mr Senthi ( @ [protected].) ( Manager )

Paid money Rs 2500/ on[protected] and No connection till date.



I moved to Chennai city from Hyderabad for employment purpose. In Chennai I am temporarily staying in a company guest house. I have approached the Airtel sales person Miss Meghana ( @ [protected]) on[protected] . I have clearly mentioned her that I not a native of Chennai, but came from Hyderabad and intended to stay in Chennai for longer period. However currently staying in a company provided Guest House ().

I had a important business purpose, for which I need internet access while I am travelling . I have conveyed the same to the Miss Maghana madam.

Only after a clear promise from her for getting the Airtel broadband connection, I paid Rs 2500/- for USB DATA CARD. Immediately they delivered that card to my office( The MRP PRICE on the box was ribbed off so that I cannot find its actual price). I thought losing some money in urgent matters is ok and accepted the card and the SIM CARD along with that.


As part of the documents I have provided.
1) My Pan card copy.
2) HR letter about my employment and the residence address where I am staying after office hours.
3) Driving license copy.

They took almost 5 days to activate the connection and Immediately after 7 days it got cancelled without any intimation to me. That is insane. I was on travel and the connection did not work for which I paid the money and got the promise. After calling repeatedly multiple people, obviously Magana madam stopped accepting my phone calls.

After repeated trails, she finally took the call and leisurely mentioning that the connection got cancelled because I am staying in a bachelor accommodation.

When I helped her in recollecting that I have already mentioned before paying Rs 2500.00 that I am staying in a company guest house, she immediately appolozised and passed another sim card.

Again I have given the same documents this time excluding the company HR leter.

Again the story repeated, the connection worked for 7 days and got cancelled again.

This time it is even worse, Meghana madam did not talk my calls for almost two weeks, She picked the call when I called from other persons number.
Finally she is saying that, she can assure the connection if I pay Rs 500.00 extra.

I came to know that the USB data card is available in the market @ 1800/- and some other service providers like MTS are giving datacard for free.

Meanwhile Meghana madam, upon begging so many times for help , finally passed her Boss contact details Mr Senthi ( @ [protected].) Repeated allthe story to him. He immediately said sorry and promised me that he will give the connection in 1 day , now by today it is 5th day running , I still have no traces of connection.
The Story repeated he too stopped taking my calls.

I am really unhappy with airtel I did not want to go for the airtel connection after going through this much. If possible please kindly get my money back

    I live in Abhirampuram, Chennai and switched to Airtel DSL (from BSNL) service about 3 months back, hoping to get better speed & good service. But, what I have now is spotty connectivity and poor service.

    My problem is this..
    Airtel Internet connectivity drops frequently and that too randomly. I rely on stable, high speed connectivity for my work and the frequent disruptions due to loss of connectivity is very annoying to say the least.

    I have lodged several complaints to Airtel with no avail. Each time, an Airtel engineer shows up unannounced and tinkers around the line and make tall claims about fixing the problem, which doesn't seem to go away. These engineers are more interested in closing the ticket quickly than to actually fix the problem.

    Airtel.. If you are listening, pl. respond and fix this problem.. Otherwise, you would loose a client soon..

      GPRS Problem
      I have activated Airtel GPRS (Rs.10/ Daily Rental) on 15th Feb 2010 but I am not able to browse internet.
      I have baught this airtel connection just few days before to access internet services offered by airtel at Rs 98 per month for per 2 GB data. As per the offer I recharged my mobile no. with specified amount. According to this plan the charges should not be deducted from my main balance( whenever i use internet connection) but I m been charged for every time of internet use. For this problem i had talked many times with customer care executives and i also did whatever they instructed. Now i m frustrated because of all this because whenver i call customer care executives first of all it gets connected after a considerable time and also i m being charged for being put on hold maximum of call time and still no meaningfull result. Please take an appropriate action.

      I have activated daily unlimited internet plan according to the condition they Airtel have deducted rupees 20 from my balance(which is the charge for one day unlimited usage of internet in Karnataka). But after browsing some website the again deducted cash from my balance. I called costemer care for complaining about this. at First time they pick up the call and ask me to be on hold. But after some time they disconnected the phone. After that the costemer care people are not attending my phone. Please help me i[censored] know any government authority to complain about this.

      airtel internet is running very slow, i got download speed up to 3-5kbps only,
      before 3g launch i got 35-50kbps speed on airtel internet, i complaint about this problem in airtel customer care before 2 months, they doesn't do anything from 2 months.

      3G is not avilable in this area and when I complaint about this customer car tells that 3G is available in this circle.if this is the condition then I will close my sim and leave this company. I have bought a new sim today .i have thought that 3G is avilable here.
      i think airtel company should close their businness of 2g internet because in 2g internet atleast customer would expect speed of 25 kbps[protected]but they are giving 1g speed sorry 0.5g speed of 6 kbps........

        i have been using my airtel sim [protected] since 3 years , suddenly i am not able to send sms from my phone. i tried with different phones , but couldnt make up.
        then i called to airtel customer care and said my complaint. they gave me a reference number CLSMS[protected]. and they said it will solved by 8/12/2011.. now it is 14/12/2011 still i am having problem and the authority is cheating me by not allowing to call the customer care.

        please help me to resolve this ..

          I am an Airtel customer having no-[protected] , i have recharged my account wid powerplus Rs 76/- on 10 dec 2011 but on 13 of dec my plan automatically change to normal plan and amount deducted as old plan ( 0.60 per minute ) again on 14 dec 2011 it reverted and call rates deductd as per FRC Rs 76/- .


          BUT WHO WILL PAY THE EXTRA AMOUNT DEDUCTED , I rang up to Airtel Customer Care 10 times but they disconnect my phone saying that they have no information , after then i am unable to call to customer care also.

            Dear Sir,
            I am Mukesh Chandra, received one missed call at 9.35 today no [protected]. When I have called the phone was lifted by male and told I won 25 Lacks award from SBI . I told not interested and disconnected . Then I came to know that it is an ISD no. So I have searched in the Internet & found that as per the code it is belongs to Pakistan.

            I received an international call to my airtel mobile number from[protected] on 25 May 2012 at 09:49 am. I missed the call and I was curious to know the country of origin. So I googled and found there were many complaints made about this number starting 923... I come to understand that this international call must be for a fraudulent purpose.

              Dear Sir/ Madam

              I Mr.J.Chandra Sekhar have[protected] mobile number of your airtel, got struced in and around of 22 nd of Oct-11. Then i have contacted your call center to know the reason, at that time they informed me that it has been failed due to some technical reason and advised to have a new SIM with same number by providing the required documents. Later i was busy with my professional work and went to your sevice center located at Paradise, Secunderabad on 16 th Nov-11 to get the new SIM with same number. By providing the documents they have issued the new SIM and told that the previous balance would be carry forwarded.

              On 17 th morning i have checked the balance and found difference in the amount around 600.00 Rs. I did 't get any response from your call center and went to your service center at Paradise and did a call to 125 between 5.30 - 5.50 pm. It was answered by women employee and informed that it is (number) using regularly and a new SIM card has been issued on my name in and around of nov 1 or 2 nd. In addition to that there is activation of mobile internet applications with out my requisition and same was also answered by another employee. After that your people had given a mobile number ([protected]) and informed it's a contact number of higher official, do the complaint directly to them. I tried to that Number and observed that it was a call center number again. (This is one way they betrayed me by giving wrong information).

              Later i moved to your office located in secunderabad and made a written complaint by seeing the following

              a) It is being used by somebody with out my presence
              b) Internet applications were also downloaded with out my requisition

              So, i request you to provide the clarifications to the following and revert back my misused balance.

              a) why you have issued the SIM card on my name to others?
              b) if it is used by Anti-Social elements, who will be resposble for that?
              c) Why your people guided me wrongly?
              d) why you have activated internet appl with out my request?
              e) Is it possible to do all these with out direct or indirect presence of AIRTEL employee?

                I have a request to escalate your employee having id no.:-38129 and mobile no.:-[protected] working at Durgapur(WEST BENGAL).He comes to call offline to his customers who call on 121.

                With the girls he talks illegally and says it is very common in companies like Airtel.He also tells that I have such relationship with many of my office colleagues and even with my global HR head.He tells that our higher authority promotes us for doing so.

                Now please answer me should we customers expect such behaviour of your employees?The company which comes to feed them , they arise voice against them.Why do you have HR members?Why you dont train your employees properly?

                  On 7th December 2011 I requested Airtel customer support to activate my Blackberry Enterprise Plan on my number [protected]. However till date that has not been done and the worst part is all of them are clue less and just give their own statement about resolution time without any solution.

                      It was September 2011 beginning when I had taken an Airtel Broadband connection with fixed line. The reason I chose Airtel was because we have Airtel intercom services activated in our apartment complex. I requested Airtel team to get my fixed line number connected to our building's airtel intercom facility. This was about 3 months back. Till date, even after rigorous follows, writing mails, calling up the customer care and raising complaint request for the same, my issue remains unresolved. The complaint request raised 20 days back, which was closed without proper resolution, is 7894488. I have lost all my trust in Airtel now as I think it is a job that can be done in a day. Can anyone from Airtel team clarify.

                          I submitted the required documents but, I'm still unable to make
                          outgoing calls or send messages though I can receive calls.

                          I have called customer care several times and have also visited the
                          airtel customer relationship center nearly 4 times now. They all have
                          the same answer. They say that everything is fine and no one has an
                          answer.

                            this is deepan from chennai, i spoke to airtel broadband customercare many times to change the mail ID in my profile and send my soft copy to my new mail id, but there is no improvement, they silently cut the call, wat a super service to the customer, only for money, still iam paying everymonth bill without fail, but they are siletly sitting in A/C room, and attend the call for there monthly salary. not for customer compalints, my contact number is [protected]

                              I have take a new airtel no few days ago.My no is [protected].
                              After few days airtel deactivate my connection,saying that i havn't submit the legal documents.Being given the legal and correct documents at the 1st time,I again submit the same documents again.
                              But though i submit the documents 3days ago,my connection is still deactivated.I am facing tremendous problem as my ph is in not working condition & i donn't know how many more days i have to spend with this condition.I am totally feud up with airtel.
                              Have Airtel a little bit responsibly to their customer?

                              Airtel — cutting off the Connection

                              It is marvellous the way Airtel the network provider are really doing. I take the prepaid connection on 10th of July with my own Driving License as my ID proof. But to my great surprise I got a SMS at 139pm asking me to submit my Id proof. but the service is disconect before i could act suddenly by this evening. I am really unhappy the way airtel take the action. it is not that i dont want to prove my identity. but i am not an engine or computer who can do everythign at a time. so pls take care of this if you are also a human being.                                 i had already complaint about an no network coverage in our area, for that complaint i had an call from airtel network.. they say's that, we made an survey in our area and we will locate an new airtel tower in ur area as soon as possible.. bt nearly 6 months over from my date of complaint, still now no action has been taken by airtel service about network coverage... all the people useing airtel in that area are planned to change their network to another network by MNP .. even no more steps havent been taken after seeing this complaint, we will surely change into other network..

                                  I am using airtel prepaid connection having mobile number [protected]. Unknowingly one service named Games Club had been activated on my number. Each day they were deducting 5/- Rs. from my main balance for around one month without my notice as i didn't come to know about the same by any message of activation or deduction. When i came to know about this i contacted Airtel Customer Care on 1/12/2011 by 4:50 pm. They ensured me to stop the service instantly and i got request reference number also (CBDGC[protected]) by message. But service was not deactivated and amount had been deducted each day till today.

                                  This has caused me a loss of above 100 rs as i am not aware about of the starting date of the service. I at least deserve refund of amount what has been charged after i asked them to stop service and got mentioned reference number.

                                  I hope and believe that appropriate action will be taken soon.

                                  I am using Airtel prepaid mobile connection ([protected]). I accidentally activated two services on my phone (some Ghar aaye jyotish alert and Bollywood MMS alert ). I have been trying to deactivate these services for the last two months. When I sent STOP to 121 as given on airtel website, they replied dnd is not activated for these services . When I tried registering for dnd i never got any proper response.
                                  So I request you to please deregister all value added services for my phone number [protected].

                                    At the time of issuing this phone connection they said no rental and no fees . it is a railway interwork for south zone only with free talk time worth Rs. 25.Railway inline network in south zone is free talk time.
                                    But from October month onwards I am getting bills for Rs. 140 each.
                                    For the two phones I am getting 280 monthly. It is completely rude action. Without informing us they change the plan. While contacting they said they already sent an SMS regarding plan change. No Information is given in the bill except plan charge 140.
                                    While contacting the customer service on 13/12/2011 the customer service representative bluffed that ( Ph: [protected])
                                    THEY CHANGED THE PLAN ACCORDING TO THE RAILWAY BOARD ORDER AND FURTHER DETAILS I HAVE TO CONTACT MY HR SUPERVISOR".
                                    I wondered, how a Railway Board issue order to a Private company to change the plan and what is the necessity to take this action other than railway activities.And there is no HR department in Railways. It is Personal Department . This plan is not given by Railways and there is no connection to Personal Department and they will not encourage this private activities.. The Air Tel officials individually contacting the railway people and sell this plan. Now they said " Railway Board Order". They think I am a fool to accept whatever the bluffed. This is misusing of Government Department Name for their benefits.
                                    I want to know why they change the plan and I want to retain my original plan prior to October 2011 and also to refund the amount charged for an uninformed changed plan.
                                    Please take necessary action.

                                      I have been a customer of Airtel from around 4years and recommended my all friends to get Airtel connection.

                                      I am on a 4Mbps Unlimited connection. I have exceeded my 25GB FUP usage (even that won't happen usually) last month, my speed went down to 256kbps so added a smartbytes 5gb package and my speed increased but in few hours it went down again and when i goto smartbytes page it was showing 0GB left in your account. How can i use 5GB in 1/2 hours. I was just checking mails and listening to music. Does that uses 5GB? so i had a online call next day so added one more 5GB smartbytes package. Same happened with this also. So smartbytes din't worked properly for me but still in this month's bill you added smartbytes pack also. Few days back talked to a airtel representative and he told this won't come in bill but they charged it in bill. and Today is 13th and i got a message you have used 80% of your usage. How can i use 25GB in 10days?? Before i had a 2Mbps 10GB connection and that was working fine for me. But later i started using 12-15GB Max so changed plan and I am on this plan from few months and never exceeded 25GB. I use max of 15-20 GB.

                                      Please do check and fix this issue soon.

We remade complaints on regular base but in vain. the line got active on 11 th day. again the line got disconnected afetr two weeks. and afetr sevral complaints the line are not working. as this is corpotrate connection company is not able to cordinate in the market because their is no dial tone in the phones. the company is dealing with indian army as far as business is concerned. and due to airtel problem the contract of the company was terminated. because the army people were not able to contact the company. Now who is responsible for the loss beared by the company? Plz help us.
