Dear Sir,

I would like correct an error by me in my previous complaint........My number was incorrectly entered the correct number is entered at.....

1. My name is Nishant Pawar from Rowriah Jorhat Assam.

2. I have purchased a 3G Airtel prepaid Sim my number is [protected].

3. I have made an initial recharge of rs.450 which will give me a data limit initially of 1.2 GB and I was told by the vendor that after 48 hours an additional 3.8 GB data will be added making it a total of 5 gb of data usage for my first recharge.

4. I have also made an initial recharge of Rs. 111 for the purpose of 111 min of talk time.

5. I am facing the undermentioned problems with Airtel service.


(a) I have not been given an additional 3.8 GB of data for the initial recharge of Rs 450. It has been One week now.

(b) I initially used the sim in my 3G Micromax dongle and was able to browse the internet with 3g speeds. However, on the second day when I entered the sim in my Nokia X2-01 Mobile phone which is a 2G handset. Automatically approximately 50 Rupees got deducted from my voice account and 2G GPRS plan was activated automatically without my consent.

(c) Subsequently on entering the sim card in My 3G Micromax dongle, I am unable to browse with 3G speeds. I get a miserable 12 Kbps download speed even though the system shows HSPA/UMTS 3G signal available.

(d) I have called up on your help line 121, 198, 12134, 12118. No one is ready to help me and they keep telling me to contact the other number. The customer care executives are extremely rude. They have no knowledge about the system involved and cut the call even as the customer is speaking to them with a snide remark 'Airtel mein call karne ke liye dhanyawad'.

(e) I did manage to get a request reference number C3GDC[protected] for low internet speed two days back but the problem was not solved.

(f) Because lack of any advise from your customer care. I reached a conclusion that possibly my number has got a 2G GPRS plan enabled hence there is a reduction of speed. Hence, I opted of cancellation of my 2G GPRS on 12118 IVR and got a request reference number CMOUD[protected].

6. Sir I have been made to run from pillar to post for getting 3G speeds on my 3G prepaid connection. However there has still been no assistance from your end. Because of this delay I have also lost a substantial amount of money as I use the internet for Trading purposes.

7. It is requested that

(a) My 3G connection speed be restored at the earliest so that i can use it in my 3G dongle.

(b) The additional data of 3.8 GB data due to me be alloted at the earliest.

(c) The amount of approximately 50 Rupees which was wrongfully deducted by you for activation 2G GPRS on my number without my consent be refunded as soon as possible.

8. I have already been harassed by your customer care executives.
(Note: There is no Signal problem or dongle problem as my neighbour's 3G Airtel sim card is working fine in my dongle and giving 3G speeds).

9. Awaiting a favourable response.

    Customer ID online registration - very urgent
    My customer ID is [protected]
    I want to immediately recharge/top up my account online and add on few packages and to know my account balance as well.
    For that purpose I tried to register on
    https://ebpp.airtelworld.com/care/RetailUserRegistration/
    but each time this message come.
    ‘We are unable to process your request. Please try again later. Regret the inconvenience.’
    What is the reason that why this message comes again and again when I try to online register as New user?
    Why your site does not allow new customer ID to register on your web site???
    Please allow me to register online
    https://ebpp.airtelworld.com/care/RetailUserRegistration/
    with immediate effect so that I may recharge my account with new add online in my account section.
    Finally my above Customer ID does not appear on my set top box? What is the reason? Please show ID on my box as well.

      I had requested for activating DND sevices on our airtel number [protected], by sending sms "START DND" to 1909 on 20th Apr 2010. And immediately I had got an sms from Airtel customer care (121) as follows "Your reference number for Registering on NDNC is S[protected]. All promotional communication to your Airtel mobile should stop within 45 days from now". This message is still there preserved in my inbox. It's now over one and half year now, whereas it should have been activated after one and half month itself.

      It is now over one and half year now, but still I am continuously receiving unwanted commercial calls and sms, which is really very unpleasant when I am in an important meeting, roaming or may be at some personal work. Even at mid nights I have been receiving such calls and sms.

      If have also complained the same so many times to Airtel customer care but of no use. I have written mails as well to NDNC authorities, but again of no use. Finally I had to be here and lets see, if anything works out or not.

      I have checked this number on the NDNC website and still this number [protected] is not registered with them.

      Need to why such lapses, in such a technically advanced country???

      Airtel — already in NDNC but still get commercial calls and sms

      Dear Sir/Madam.
      Namaskar.

      My Airtel mobile number is [protected] and i have registered for DND vide Registration Number: S[protected] dated: 19/07/2010. But till date I am receiving unwanted and unsolicited commercial calls and SMS. Kindly help stop all unwanted calls and sms.

      i am receiving calls regularly almost everyday from these numbers: [protected]; [protected]; [protected]; [protected]; [protected]. Just on[protected] at 10:09 am i received an unwanted commercial call from [protected] and on 31st January at 15:38 from [protected]. I am not sure who are the companies.

      the other day i spoke with airtel costumer care. one G. Bhargavi was interacting with me and she is not well versed in Hindi. She told me that my airtel number is registered with NDNC but not activated yet. Though she has noted my complaint under the reference number as above, my problem is not solved yet.

      I request you to please please please activate my registration immediately and help me stop receiving commercial calls.

        Dear Friends,

        Being a Pre Paid Customer of Airtel from 11 years, i am facing the problems of disconnection and that to without information. 2 months back had received sms saying please submit the documents once again for verification purpose, they disconnected my outing and that time had submit the documents saying ok there might be some process. Now, again they have disconnected my outing without information and the 121 people say they had called me and nodal officer of airtel says as per TRAI it will take time of 3 working days. kindly tell me is there is a solution for this.
        I am thinking being a customer of airtel from 11 years, i am facing this problem then how about a new customer.

        Please stop this nonsense and update the systems with online services.

          There have been some disturbance in my landline([protected]). In the last 2 weeks I had placed 4 complaints on this but unfortunately no action had been taken and the complaints were being closed without any action. When I escalated the issue, a lineman named Dasarath turned up at my residence yesterday at 8PM and plainly told me that I can go ahead and raise as many complaints as I want and he will keep on closing it without any action. I called his supervisor and complained about Mr. Dasarath's behavior. The following day(20Nov11 - around 6.30PM) Mr. Dasarath had came down to my apartment, had told the security personnel that he has come to rectify a telephone issue in a different flat and had disconnected both my Airtel and BSNL connections. This is totally unacceptable behavior and should not be encouraged.

            DEACTIVATE FULLTRACK SERVICE

            Hi,

            Earlier I was receiving daily SMS saying "You have been renewed for Full Track subscription service from Airtel.You've been charged Rs.3,

            I have lost Rs.150/- already. I have never requested for any added service. Currently I do not receive an sms but still money is getting deducted from the balance. I have already registered my complaint with the customer care but did not get any positive response.

            Please Deactivate it Immediately.

              Hello Sir/Ma’am,



              My name is Richa Goel (Contact no.-[protected]), permanent resident of Delhi but currently staying in Ludhiana. This is in regard that I took a new airtel connection(Ph no.- [protected]) on my father’s name Mr. D.K. Goel. I bought the connection in the month of September 2011, and I handed over all the needed proofs of my Father which were required to get a connection.

              Ever since I took the connection I was called a lot of times for verification and I gave the correct details (same :I gave while taking the connection). To my surprise after about a month, my connection was temporarily discontinued, without any prior notice from airtel; (specially after I got a recharge of Rs.350/- done). I was even unable to call the customer care. When I called them from a different number, I was told that they have deactivated my sim and for reactivation I need to give few more documents (for verification). But when I went to the office for the same I was told( by Mr. Surinder K on 15/11/2011)that my Sim is permanently deactivated and there is no way it can work now.

              I totally understand the procedure of verification; and I know the importance but it is very wrong on your part to disconnect my number WITHOUT ANY PRIOR NOTICE!!!. Due to this I had to face a lot of problems as I was new to the city and I am not staying with my family. Being a loyal airtel customer from years, I am really disappointed by your action. We have a lot of airtel connections in our house, but never had such problems with any.

              It is so annoying because it happened only after I got a recharge of a big amount done on my phone.

              Though I have bought a new connection ([protected]) now, I request you to kindly transfer the balance left in my old no. [protected] to my current number asap.

              Thanks for concern, but could you tell me how have you resolved the issue? Because I have checked the sim number([protected]), and its still not working. I got a call from your team member a week back and I requested her to either activate the old sim or transfer the balance to my current number([protected]). But niether of the two options are done.

              Airtel — Deactivation of my number without prior notice

              Dear Sir/Madam,

              I purchased 3 airtel sim cards with similar series of number & within a week its been deactivated without my notice... i called customer care many times to retain my number after submitting my address proof, but was of no use... Total waste of my time & trust which i had on Airtel.

              Hoping that someone would revert back for this issue.

                I PURCHASED AN AIR TEL PREPAID SIM BEING SIM NO.[protected], MOBILE NO. [protected] AND SUBMITTED ALL THE REQUISITE DOCUMENS IN ASRAFI ENTERPRISES, TITILAGARH, ABOUT ONE MONTH BACK. BUT TO MY UTTER SURPRISE TO DAY I FOUND THAT THE SAME SIM IS DIFUNCT, I INQUIRED WITH ASRAFI ENTERPRISES, HE TALK WITH THE CUSTOMER CARE AND TOLD ME THAT THE SAME SIM IS REJECTED ANE HE COULD NOT HELP MORE.
                IN THE MIN TIME AS I AM A BUSY ADVOCATE I HAVE GIVEN THE SAME NUMBER TO SO MANY PERSONS AND IF THE SAME MOBILE NO. WILL NOT BE ACTIVATED THAN I WILL SUFFER A LOT SOCIALY/MENTALY AND FINANCIALY, SO PLEASE DO THE NEEDFUL TO ACTIVATE THE SAME SIM.

                  I registered a request on 29th April' 2011 for shifting my Airtel Fixed line connection phone number[protected] from Noida to Delhi the same connection with the account no of 16565420 was then transferred. I had to pay 1 months extra bill till the connection was activated. However sice then Airtel has assumed that I am now living in two separate places and is continuously demanding double bill payment. I have been making complaints regarding this since 26 May 2011 Complaint number 46839502 . Every time I was informed that the problem will be rectified. I have also written complaints to the Airtel email IDs but no action has been taken. I have received 5 threatening phone calls ( phone number[protected] from a mentally disturbed executive who has used objectionable language. Having left no recourse now but to make a police complaint I just want this forum to be a warning to anyone who wishes to transfer airtel landline connections.

                  Airtel — Fixed Line Connection Shifting

                  I am staying at indirapuram and made request for shifting my landline number from B6/301 Krishna Apra gardens to B6/201 Krishna Apra gardens on 28th July and was told that this would be done in 2 days. Later on after 3 days we called up and was told that it will take 10 days. When on 13th Aug we called up in morning, i was told that shifting would be done by 2PM and when called up at 2.30PM, finally told that shifting is not possible and there is bill due worth 670.. Really frustrtaed with Airtel Service. Want tof file in Consumer court also.. There is no coutesy that they should inform customer about their incapability rather than making false promises..

                      Recently I got an WIFI Modem freplace via Airtel . This
                      modem was supplied by Airtel to me on 23/9/2011 .
                      The Billing is done by UNIVERSAL TELECOM - Faridabad.

                      Type Of Modem : 4501 TC wifi by beetel

                      Now, this modem is not working at all . I went to Airtel office
                      In FBD , where they directed myself to go to Universal telecom
                      sector 16 Faridabad. There again they directed me to contact AIRTEL
                      because they are not responsible for this service .

                      Now, I had placed an order with Airtel , yourself have send someone
                      to install the modem .

                      We have been running here and there to get this thing fixed .
                      Your people in Faridabad office sector 12 oppositte SRS .

                      Met Mr. Dinesh
                      Mr. Vimlesh , they have not been helpful at all .

                      I will Not PAY any money after 19th NOV on [protected] , as
                      I am unable to use the Internet .

                      Moreover , If Airtel really cares why we have so much trouble

                        Airtel — Talktime not yet credited & 10 days passed

                        On 26/01/10 a sms came from Airtel Promo:NOW RECHARGE FOR RS 44 AND GET TT RS 39.90 IN 48 HRS!ENJOY ROAMING TARIFF-ALL AIRTEL [protected]@60P,[protected]@80P & [protected]@60P FOR 1 YEAR.
                        Then I called customer care for two times to confirm if talktime will be credited with recharge Rs 44 or not? and they replied yes.Two days passed and and no credit happened.I called customer care and they take a complain and said to resolve in maximum time of 5 days.COMPLAIN NO:[protected].But five days passed no credit of my money.Again called customer care and they again forwarded the same complain number and said to resolve in 3 days. But it also passed today i.e. on 5/02/10.
                        The Concern Department called me and and inspite of crediting the talktime they are saying number of excuses. Again No credit given and my outgoing call rate increases and no one from customer care told me that rates are going to be changed otherwise I dont bother to recharge it.
                        I HAVE BEEN CHEATED BY AIRTEL.PLEASE LOOK THE MATTER.

                        yesterday giving another reference number CBNRA[protected].

                        To my surprise today I got another SMS from Airtel saying the old story

                            I received my current invoice and while checking the call details online, And I am very surprised to see that there are six international SMSs are showing from my number to "[protected]" on dated[protected] at around 00:30. On the day I was in Travel.

                            I speak with Customer care executive and he refuse to support me as he saying the sms has been sent from my mobile number only, which actually was not.

                            It is very irritating that Airtel is also now on the wrong track for billing problems and unsupportive customer care.

                            I was customer of Airtel postpaid u took this connection after MNP from Reliance and number is [protected]. 1st my credit limit was near 500 ans as per my uses. But after that You have increased my credit limit up to 1200 without any prior intimation. Now in the last month i have got bill of arond Rs 3000. That time I was working with one company and for that I took postpaid connection so that my bill can be paid by our company. But after that due to some reason I left my job. I got bill of that amount and i was unable to pay that amount because I am not in job now. In the last month from Mumbai Airtel office one girl called at my home and talked to my mother and misbehaved with my mother by using wrong words that your son is bad man and after that she also called to my some friends and abused them very badly and said that you all are very bed persons. They all called me and told me whole story about you people that how Airtel behaved with us. I am asking you Airtel is it tha way of talking to them and how can you called them and behaved rudely using bad language. tell me who was using your Airtel connection me or that my friends and parents? Why you have behaved like this. I already told that how you people with any notice or intimation increased my credit limit and when my credit limit was 1200 then how that amount around Rs 3000 is come as bill. Now am jobless and also can't take help from home for money then how i can pay that amount of money.

                            Now I have got one mail from Mumbai Airtel recovery department mentioning that we will take legal action against to you. id you will not pay this amount of money to us. Why you people are doing this thing to me and frustrated fully and mentally torched. Why I should pay Rs 3000 when you already increased my credit limit up to 3000. I am not saying you to that I will not pay you but now this time my condition is not good. So give me some time more to pay but before it please make it clear why I should pay Rs around 3000 when my credit limit was Rs 1200 only. That time where you people were sleeping or didn't You have noticed about my credit limit that am crossing it.

                              My name is Virendra Singh. My Airtel number is [protected]. This is a CUG plan. I was using 3 GB GPRS plan for Rs. 198. My billing cycle is 5th to 4th every month. On 22nd October 2011, I made a call to customer care and expressed my desire to discontinue the plan. Even I asked to executive that, is it possible or when billing cycle will be over then it will get discontinue. He told me it's possible and advised me not to use GPRS from now otherwise you will be charged. I did the same. But when I received bill in November 2011. The GPRS rental was charged from 5th of October to 21st of October. As I told I discontinue this service on 22nd at 11 in night but executive discontinue my service from 21st of October so data which I used on 22nd till morning that was of Rs 2559 have been added in my bill. It was mistake of representative of Airtel who discontinue my service one day earlier as I had given request on 22nd. I made a call to customer care regarding this issue they were agree with my concern but expressed that they are not authorized to deduct this much amount and advised me to call Nodal Officer. I called Nodal officer and did not get any positive response even I have been advised to close the number. I was shocked to here this as I was one year old customer. I called to Appellate authority and they gave me discount of only Rs 800/- After discount I had to pay 2825 Rs. I thought a lot and paid full amount but I got hurt from this type of behavior of Airtel as they were telling that I am right but they can’t do anything. If I did want I could have not paid any amount and could close my number but I paid only to show that how much cheap they are. I have decided to port this number. I talked to my Advocate, he advised me I can sue Airtel. Well I have decided to port the number.

                              Guys I just want your thought that should I sue Airtel as I was big fan of it… now I m leaving it. It’s feeling too bad but I have to.

                              i am not happy what i have gone through as i took postpaid conncetion.. associate took 500 and ecs sign and gave me false commitment as soon as i realise in next month.. i cancel the service and make the payment... after few month i realise service still continue and they charged me more on credit card.. i request cancel again mention my two complaint number however still they are charging me monthly rent and other taxes.. i had lose more then 2000 and asking to revert my money back they denied andf send sticky note.. i am looking justice or higher authority to look this matter and reverse my charges..

Since then they have been adding up charges on that number and have sent me a bill of Rs.-2200/-. On non payment of this bill they have blocked and suspended my present number [protected].

                              I have been getting mails/calls from airtel regarding an outstanding bill of Rs. – 2197/- on mobile # [protected]. However, I don’t owe any money to them on this number. My bills were fully paid off one and a half year

                              I had 2G NOP on my phone before I bought a Nokia Lumia 710 in March 2012. Airtel automatically discontinued my NOP and started 3G services on my phone without me knowing about it. For 4 months, there was no change in my bill as they had some doscount offer and 5th month they have sent me bill for 5000. How can they discontinue my existing plan and change it to 3G without my consent? Please be careful if you are an Airtel customer.
                              I have been using Airtel Number [protected]. GPRS services @ Rs 199 per month was activated on my number in Aug&#039;12 without my knowledge and permission.
                              When i checked my bill for March&#039;13, i called customer care to check why i have been charged for Rs 199 and I was informed that i have get this service activated in Aug&#039;12, however i nvr used this service.
                              I had lot of discussion with customer care dept and other dep in Airtel and finally i was told that all charges has been reversed for GPRS services and i will see credit for Rs 127 in May bill.

                              When my new bill generated for May, i did not see complete reversal and credit. instead previous balance was added in my bill, Since then i have been contacting customer care, nodal officer, Appellate officer but no resolution.
                              Now they have barred incoming and outgoing service on my number.

                              Bill Date 06/05/2013 was 1309/- with previous balance of Rs 1407.60/-, however
                              after reversal of all GPRS service charge monthly bill should have been 323/-.

                              Bill Date 06/06/2013 was 1732/- with previous balance of Rs 1309.40/-, however
                              below are the calculation of 06/06/2013 payable amount:

                              May 2013 due - 323/- (Actual)
                              June 2013 Due (Without late fees) - 322/-

                              Total amount due by 24/06/2013 should be 645/- only

                                WE ARE DEALER OF AIRTEL DIGITAL TV (DTH SYSTEM) FOR LAST 3 YEARS. FOR REACHARGING THE CUSTOMERS SUBSCRIPTION.
                                I LOST THE SIM OF THE LAPU RECHARGE ON 6.11.11
                                ON 08.11.11 WE CONTACTED BHARTI HOUSE INCOME TAX AHMEDABAD FOR THE REASON. AS PER THEIR SUGGESTION WE SUBMITTED RS.25 & REQUIRED PROOF DOCUMENTS. THEY ISSUED US A NEW SIM. THEY ACTIVATED THE NEW SIM IN NEXT 3 HRS. BUT IT WAS FOUND THAT DUE TO THEIR NEGLEGENCE THEY ISSUED A NORMAL PHONE SIM INSTEAD OF DTH LAPU SIM.
                                AGAIN TODAY WE VISITED THE OFFICE. THEY TOLD TO GET ANOTHER SIM & WE AGAIN GET THE NEW ONE. AT AROUND 3PM WE HAD SUBMITTED THE SET OF REQD.DOCUMENTS AGAIN. THEY TOLD THAT IN NEXT 3 HRS IT WILL BE ACTIVATED. NOW IT IS ALMOST 5 HRS.GONE AND SIM IS STILL UN REGISTERED. IT MEANS THEY HAVE NOT YET DONE THE REQUIRED UPDATION IN THE SYSTEM. THIS BHARTI HOUSE IS ALMOST 12 KM AWAY FROM OUR PLACE. WE HAVE CONTACTED AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE TO REQUEST FOR EARLY ACTIVATION OF THE SIM. BUT THEY ARE NOT REPLYING PROPERLY & TELLING TO VISIT THE BHARATI HOUSE FOR THE REASON.
                                WE ARE VERY MUCH IN PROBLEM. WE HAVE LOST BUSINESS OF AIRTEL RECHARGE AS WELL AS PHYSICAL & MENTAL HARASHMENT.

                                  1- Any Airtel number of Bangalore, is unable to connect any BSNL phone number of STD CODE 05661 (Sadabad, Western
                                  UP). You can yourself try any phone number such as[protected]XXX and you will always listen "All channels are Busy, Please try later". I am unable to speak to my family and borrowing cell phone of friends who have either Vodafone or Tata Indocome etc as they are able to get connected with any number of that STD code.

                                  2- I have done complain of the same on 198 several times in last month, but no reply back or any resolution. The height of dirtiest thing of Airtel is that whenever I use to ask on 198 that what had happened or made resolution of my previous complain, they say that there is no complain from my side in their computer system. It means no representative had seriously noted down my complain or thus NO RESOLUTION.

                                    I recieved this SMS "You have been renewed for full track subscription service from Airtel. You have been charged Rs. 5" on 9th, 10th, 12th 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, And I think this will go on everyday.
                                    I NEVER subscribe this thing and when I tried to stop it, It says" Service Unavailable".

                                    Airtel — Forced services billed illegally

                                    Airtel has evidently shared my number with a add-on service provider and without my having requested, they have started sending me messages which are being billed to me. The service is "jokes" and number it has come from is 543212. They are charging Rs 15 per month for a service that I do not want.

                                    I have attempted number of times to complain to Airtel at 121, but they disconnect the call rather than connect with a person.

                                    They should immediately stop this service. My number is [protected].
                                    Today I got a call from Airtel, The Full Track Supscription was stopped and Rs. 70 was credited to my Airtel Account.
