Airtel - the news all around is that it is growing, the no.1 company in India and now it sis a global company, expanding into African markets, acquisitions, F1 grandprix sponsorship, glossy ad campaigns - what does this all mean to a customer. A customer just needs a trust in the brand and good service for what I pay from my pocket, I have lost hope in the brand airtel and have started using all forms of social medium to demote the brand. I have already started suggesting my peers, colleagues and relatives not to opt for any airtel products.

now let me come to the complaint - I have been using airtel broadband for ore than 3 years now. Recently i had to shift my connection to a new place in the city. The connection was shifted only after repeated requests and complaints. One day the wires and the modem were fixed. The next day another guy came to connect the internet to my laptop. I had a wireless modem which was not fixed on that day and said call the customer care to activate it. Inspite of so many complaints, I had to call again and said the customer care team to tell me over the phone and I will configured the wireless modem and I did it and during the call, the person says I have been on this call for too long so call again and slams the phone on me. I waited patiently and called again after 3 hours to get it fixed (which is supposed to be done by the airtel team).

Now my real concern: I had made this request to shift the connection on August 25, 2011 and the connection eventually shifted and was activated on September 27 (note: one full month). I get a bill in the month of November for two months including the one month during which it was not at all activated. I make a complaint regarding this on November 7, 2011 and since then there has been no proper response till date. Everyday I get a call from the collections call center (which is outsourced by airtel) asking for the payment. Then i have to explain the whole above process to the call center team and they put me on hold saying that we will check and after a few minutes the call gets disconnected. This has been happening daily and no proper response has been given to me as to why that this has been added to my bill and no confirmation on mail or a bill saying that this has been cleared. My due date for the bill has even crossed and still they have not bothered to revert to me.

This has been the worst experience I have ever had and this is not the kind of customer services one would expect from a brand like airtel. thank god I do not use airtel mobile services and will not in the future. now my option is just to disconnect this connection and opt for another service.

    Dear Sir/madam,
    two days back, i got a new airtel sim for my sister with number [protected], and it was promptly activated within 2 hours. But when i call her number from my airtel mobile, the recorded message says 'you are not allowed to call this number'. i tried calling from my father's and mother's airtel numbers, but get the same recorded message.
    The strange this is, when we call from my brother in law's vodafone mobile and our bsnl landline, the call is going through. she is also able to make outgoing calls without any problem.
    Please check this asap, as it is leading to severe communication problems for us.

      I moved out of Airtel three weeks back, but guess what Airtel is doing:

      1. My billing cycle is 25th of every month
      2. The last bill was paid out and settled
      3. Airtel says it has "Generated the next bill" on 3rd November
      4. They promptly sent it off to outside collection agencies.
      5. From 4th November - there are serious of calls from all quarters four different numbers calling for collection
      6. I have explained that it is good that you have generated the bill, please send it so that one can check and pay
      7. I called up the nodal agency and recorded my requirement and they seem to be very helpful
      8. Guess what the next day again the collection goon calls up and asks me to call up the nodal agency contact and tell him he does not care

      So what is the whole process of nodal agency.

      Is it unfair if a customer expects to receive the bill to check and pay? Or do generation of bill by someone is good enough and we need to pay without knowing for what you are paying for?

        On 13th Nov, I got a call from Airtel ([protected]) asking to check the offer provided is working ? . I checked but no offer has been activated, still the pulse rate plan is working.

          Airtel Company Active Scheme without inform and deduct amount daily basis,
          inform to them by customer care for stop, but still it is continue, and they ppl not given directly customer care executive no.
          121 no is not proper, it gives many option, customer are not free to follow so much step.

          hi,

          this is nitin. airtel service is a worst service provider. they activated a scheme without any permission or request by us. this has cost us to pay 1Rs. for every Airtel to Airtel calls, which should 10 paise. If they are not gonna take any action very soon, then we wil deactivate the service.

          another thing when we called there representive for 2 days, there response is worst than their service.

            Recharge mobile every month. Using the number 7 yrs. for the past 6 months from june there is automatic debit from airtel live website for various services which i was unaware of. Like love tweet,airtel gyan,mms,love india combo,airtel service picture post, etc. this number being used by senior citizens aged above 70. They only go to shop and recharge. The shop personnel also dont inform anything about these deductions. They jus recharge or activate services. We have called several times airtel customer service. . For the past one week entire amount has been wiped out.Padmavathy senior personnel credited only 20rs and pleaded inability. She informed that it was our fault and someone activites from mobile. Inspite of our informing that these are senior citizens who use for emergency only. Every day there is an sms received informing about debit for above mentioned services. We dont order or activate. Several calls made to airtel customer care. They confirm it shall stop from today but nothing happens. Its nuisance frustration and mental fatigue to keep on calling them and also nil balance in the mobile number. Since its used for emergency the purpose is defeated.

            Issues are mostly from 321 services. 321.444 321.565. 321.440 etc.

            Customer complaint ref at airtel customer service refrnce covwc[protected] filed on 12.11.2011 and another filed on 11.11 and 10.11.2011.

            I would request you to take necessary action and i claim monetary benefits of about rs. 2000 for all the inconvenience caused from june 2011.

              i would like to inform you that i am continuously complaining to airtel customer care for severe network problem in our region but no initiative is being taken by them till now. I am regular customer of airtel and using 2g internet and thinking of switching over to 3g,but due to continuous network problem i am realising that i am just wasting my money and is frustrated by this. So i request you to take some initiative in this context. There are 2 or3 airtel towers in the range of about 1km,but still i have been experiencing severe network problem and so i request you to take some measures in this context. mo.no.-[protected], Rajib Shounyak.

              I am airtel customer. since two days I am out of service. instead of network bar it is written 3.5G only. Plaease clean the line as soon as possible.
              After a bitter experience over the past few weeks, our tolerance limit has reached to the threshold. Neither we are able to connect any one in single attempt, nor we are getting connected smoothly. Even sometimes peoples are not able to reach us for one hour. It’s happening both in office premises and in outdoor.

              We are in CUG. Almost 50no.of connection we have.

              Mailed to almost all higher authorities of airtel. But no steps had been taken.

                My brothers cell phone provider AIRTEL has barred the outgoing calls due to the non submission of the document proofs.He has submitted the document proofs but the guys are not responding properly,when asked the customer care they ask to contact the airtel store nearby and when they are approached they ask to complain it to the customer care.His mobile number is [protected].
                My no [protected], last week my outgoing calls has barred without any information and i have called call centre i came to know that bcoz i have not submitted proofs where as i have provided already and after lots of struggle i have got my connection back by submitting proofs again. Again today my incoming service has been barred wit out any prior information stating the same reason.

                I am experiencing pathetic service of airtel and hardly waiting for mnp from airtel. How did these people will bar my calls with out my knowledge. I want to file a case against airtel. Kindly help me. . .
                my balance is dedacted for unkown service . when i am calling to customer care, the give wrong information and call discoinnected. when i try to second time my call is not connected to customer care.

                  For the activation of SMS pack i dialed *110# and selected 32 rs. sms pack they give information trough flash msg that u can send 350 local plus national sms free for 30 days and to activate reply with 1. i replied with same after some seconds company gives me conformation msg via AG-Netxel that "Thank you! Rs32 nu SMSPack apana account ma activate karavama avyu che. Jema malshe Rs350 na Local And National SMS, 30 divas mate.

                  after that i sent sms at out state airtel cut 1.5 rupess from may main balance. i urgently contacts customer care they are unable to satisfied me and disconnect the phone line they insults me. i tried three times to contact customer care they are telling me airtel only gives local sms i told then why are u giving wrong information to customer. officer tell me no way. i tell him i have confirmation proof msg which is now saved they tell you are worng. we cant do anything for u.

                  i have sms and another proofs that airtel fraud to many customer.
                  some days before i activate Rs. 2 SMSpack that pack is auto renewal pack we need to deactivate. company Sent me sms to deactivate dial *321*491# i tried for three days pack not deactivated they only tell try after some time any time i call to customer care officer tell me within 24 hrs ur balance will giving u back and pack deactivated. after two days pack was on i called again to customer care they talk with me very rudly, and tell me ur money will be rebalanced in ur main airtel account. at 13th day of same month msg comes ur 2Rs. Pack deactivated but my 6 days balance is not giving me back till. i have all complaint numbers.
                  after that i activated above SMS pack of RS.32 i found big fraud through Airtel Company. its a big scandal in telecom. that many crores rs. company got through customers.

                  I recharged my airtel mobile from paytm through net banking for Rs. 100. The sms for erecharge came and the balance was displayed. But after around 1 or 2 hours, the money was all gone. Without any information. I still have the erecharge sms but the money didinot came. What happnd I dont know.

                    Before registering any complain I would like to say that blunder I have done in my life is having a prepaid connection of AIRTEL.

                    Its not only matter of MONEY but TIME also what we have to waste because we are Airtel consumer.
                    I am sorry to say but your system of customer relationship and your customer relationship officers are just . WHY???

                    1- You people think that your customers are good for nothing, they have lots of time that’s why if anyone wants to contact customer relationship officer, he or she has to wait for 10 minutes…15 minutes even more than that.
                    2- The way they talk to their customers sometimes very rude
                    .
                    3- They do not have authority to solve the problem itself .Procrastination is a problem you can always find there.
                    4- No responsible person and reply is there if required.



                    Why am I writing all these hard lines…..if you do have records….please check yesterday dated 12 nov.2011 my conversation with your officers(INDORE ) named SANTOSH KUMAR, NITAN KUMAR and then one of your senior officer I am not able to recall his name.

                    If you find my complain satisfactory then please take action against your officers and improve your system. One more thing that in telecom sector customer is the biggest asset of any company, portability facility is now available.
                    Mind that.

                        My landline phone instrument is not working since past 2 weeks. I lodged a complaint & met very rude customer service agent named Pradeep who initially refused to even log a complaint saying airtel policy has changed & I have to get the instrument repaired on my own. I've had a landline & broadband connection with airtel for last 7 years. They took the deposit & installed an old phone which was changed at least 3-4 times during last 7 years with another old phone whenever an instrument stopped working. Everytime the instrument got faulty it was replaced with another old one which was repaired by airtel several times. They never installed an instrument of our choice saying that they can install whatever is available in the pool and the phone has always been a Beetal instrument, which was also a forced decision on consumers. Now the instrument is not working & its so old that one can barely even read the alphabets on the keys. Airtel has changed its policy without informing its customers which absolves it from maintaining the instrument which is an airtel owned instrument for which they have collected a deposit from consumer & it is definitely a mal-practice to put the burden of repairing very old instruments on consumers.

                        I wish customers can file class law suits on airtel for this suo moto change in policy which effects all fixed line consumers. How can a consumer be responsible for getting an old and faulty Beetal instrument just because airtel has a contract with Alcatel now? Why was the deposit for instrument taken & why airtel has not refunded it if they don't want to maintain the instrument now? If instrument was consumer's responsability, why didn't airtel gave a choice to consumers to get their own instrument from market rather than collecting deposits to sell the instruments of their own struggling group company Beetal? The customer service was so unhelpful that they disconnected the phone saying this is the company policy & they can't help. Even the Alcatel serviceman who visited was equally cold & unresponsive. I have consulted a noted lawyer & he assured me that it is a very valid case for consumer court as airtel is following unfair trade practices.

                        Beetel — instrument set is faulty

                        My telephone instrument set is not working from last three weeks.

                        AirTel — FAULTY INSTRUMENT

                        One complaint of faulty telephone fixed line instrument was
                        lodged with AIRTEL on 19.06.2010 vide complaint no. 34055362. The fixed line Telephone no. is[protected]
                        The complaint was attended by a lineman on 26.06.2010 after seven days.
                        He brought a very old, badly scratched instrument, which was later found to be not- working for replacement.
                        When his office was contacted Some Rajesh Tewari Responded in a very rude & arrogant manner.
                        Ultimately the Fault was not rectified.
                        There was considerable delay in attending the complaint.
                        The attitude of the persons was very rude.
                        The Air-Tel which spends very huge amounts on ADS to show off their customer service ARE A BIG ZERO IN REALITY.
                        I WONDER, IF SOME BODY WOULD ATTEND MY COMPLAINT PROPERLY & TIMELY.

                        I have using the mobile service of airtel from last two year, I have two airtel mobile number [protected], [protected]. I am face lots of problems during this two year. so, now i want to inform you about this problems. The main problem of airtel telecom service is 1) airtel start any services without any information and reduce the balance in my moble account. I face this problems lots of time. When i complent on this problem to airtel customer care and there seniour executive they can't give a proper information rather they bleming on customer is that, you are start this service.

                        I have also using a tata docomo service from last two year, i never faced this type of problems from tata docomo. So i think airtel using unfaire trade policy, this is harmful for customers.

                        So, I kindly request you please taking a proper action on airtel company.

                        Sub: Out going call are not clear in my hand set GD777(BEETEL)

                        With reference to my order number[protected] of Dehradun for Mobile Phone model No.GD777 was booking on 30th march by mobile phone [protected]. I have received phone dated 2nd April. But from same date mobile out going call was not proper. I have also talked in HOME SHOP 18 customer care but he say that see this mobile in Service centre. Today I went to service centre but he is saying that microphone are no working proper so in 15 days required to solve this problems. Due to these problems we have to purchase an other mobile for this time period so plz say me is it o.k. to purchase this mobile to HOME SHOP 18.
                        I want to replace this mobile soon.

                          Hello,

                          I'm subscribed to 2MBPS unlimited usage plan.My internet speed was downgraded to 256 kbps on reaching the usage limit of 20 GB on 15th of Oct,2011.I have also raised a service request to change my plan to high bandwidth usage limit of 30 GB/ month, that is offered for the same cost under a new plan.I was assured to get the 2MB/30 GB as on 11 th of Nov 2011 as my new billing cycle commences.But till the date I continue to get the speed of 256 kbps only.The bill last billing cycle is already generated and the new cycle is started.On calling 198 complaint number, I was asked by Mr.Sandesh to clear the browser tab and delete the temp files. As I have done these measures several times,i requested him to raise a service request to check the issue, however he refused to do so and confirmed that I'm getting 2MBPS.How ever the speed test on http://speedtest.net/ shows a down load speed of 200 kbps and same on http://speed.airtelbroadband.in/ shows 280 kbps.Screen captures are attached as separate files.Please do the needful to restore the service ASAP.

                            I ported my number from Vodafone to airtel thinking that ill get satisfied services. I then activated my blackberry services on 31st October 2011 and up till yesterday that is 11th November 2011 it was all working fine. But all of a sudden I am not able to send or receive messages, mails or anything else which has hampered a lot of my work as of now. I already talked with the executives at airtel who told me to call at [protected]. But this is the funny part because when i tried calling that number this is the response I get - "Welcome Airtel, Your number is not valid to access this service so kindly call on 121 for more information" and then i did call on 121 also where i again talked with the airtel executive who told me that the system showed that everything was fine, and ill have to call at 7070 number only to get it resolved. Now I am in no where between as airtel says to call on that number and that number is not responding so what am I supposed to do. I really dont think that customers are left like this before so cant stop my self saying this - "Vodafone customer care services are far better than that of Airtel". Kindly resolve the issue as soon as possible.

                              I am an Airtel customer for past 5 years,carrying a prepaid no. [protected].

                              Recently I bought blackberry phone and went to Airtel Relationship centre (Sodala,Jaipur) for activation of blackberry services. To my disappointment its been over a week my Blackberry services have yet not been activated.

                              Customer Care Executives are least bothered to respond and Nodal Officers(Ms. Jyoti) are also not paying attention to my problem and they have been taking this very lightly stating that there are some technical problems.

                              I am really disappointed by the kind of response Airtel is giving, since this was not expected out of a company like Airtel.

                              I request you to kindly look into the matter ASAP else I will be forced to change the network services.

                                I am having airtel connection no [protected] and internet is also being used on it aftre taking extra Rs 98/ recharch for one months basis . I recharge on 10th nov 2011 at 16:03vide trans Id no.[protected] with Rs98/& getting message for 1Gb from airtel ,vilid up to 9th dec 2011. inspite of recharge of my mobile for gprs from airtel on 10th nov.as stated above. Rs 98/ has further deducted from my existing balace.of mobile on 11th nov. than I contacted on custmer care no.198 to mr Rajan singh mr /ursram etc and any sr executive of there is not ready talk me and they are not accepting the deduction of Rs98/ from my balace and not ready to refund my money of Rs 98/ .even now on .198 not body is ready to hear my complain they are diverting my call to any others. I request to get the refund my money of Rs98/ from airtel.& instruct them to co- oprate with our custmeres carefully.

                                  My name is amala, whenever i call chennai customer care for support and if it ends up in supervisor calls , the associates hung up on me , without transferring the call , this is not happening for the first time, i have to call them again , if they see my records they simply place me on hold , even yesterday when i called them for support an associate called sudhakar hung on me, when i asked for supervisor , i do hear associates shouting and yelling at customer's by placing on mute , is this the customer service you are providing for your valuable customers , and do you think whether it will create a good image for airtel among customer's, please do internal audits and check how your associates are responding,, next time if the same thins happens , i am gonna record the call and play it through media , to show the real face of the customer's.....what kind of action is airtel going to take against their worthless associates ?????????????????????????????????

                                    MY name is amala, my incoming and outgoing calls are barred for thee 6 the time in theese 3 monthes > whenever i call air-tel customer care in Chennai , thee associates say theat theey are barring my calls for telephonic verification , i just wanna know for doing telephone verification , why theey have to barr customer's calls , is theere a valid reason for theat , i have spoke withe jai shankar , sudhakar , from air-tel Chennai location , i have received thee worst customer service from theem , if a customer is calling for assistance theeir duty is to assist theem , not to argue or fight withe customer's , i do believe theat theese calls are recorded for internal audits , whenever i ask thee reason why theey are barring my calls , theey say it is for telephonic verification, i don't know how theey verify by barring a customer's call , does it make any sense, many time , theey have taken charged re 1 for local calls , when i have booster pack of 250 rs, please go ahead and change thee process , please do call thee customer's and intimate theem before barring theeir calls , i have submitted my documents and proofs to theree different air-tel showroom in thee past-theree monthes , still i don't know why theey have to barr my calls , theis has to be escalated , please working for air-tel customer care in Chennai are thee worst , theey are so rude to customer , theink if a lay man is calling for assistance for thee same issue , do theey what is telephonic verification , i feel theey must we very rude to theem to , stop giving reasons to customer's and start fixing theeir issue , don't make theem irate and ask for supervisor , if i have to approach an manager to fix my issue , theen should do we have associates in customer care help desk, theis issue has to escalated to thee highest level , proper action has to be taken for theis ............

                                    Airtel has a good name , please don't spoil it because of poor customer service,,,,,,, remember theere are many competitors in theis world ....if thee customer service level is not good theen even thee survival will be very tough !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                      I made a request to Airtel custmore care for call details for the month of october 2011 which i made from cell no.[protected] and which is on my name. On there demand i made sms of all details which they required on dated 01/11/2011. Airtel customer care charged 50 rupees and deducted from my prepaid account on same date for call detail charges. ( sms received fm cus. care i.e. as per your request no. ribil[protected] kindly noteitemized bill for your mobile has been emailed) But after that on my repeated request to airtel customer care centre i am fail to get call details on my e mail id i.e. [protected]@gmail.com . according to airtel customer care centre i was to get call details on my e mail id within 6 hours after deduction of essentila charges i.e. Rs. 50.

                                      Now i have no hope from airtel to get any details and support as i talk to their nearest relationship centrea and talk to their harayana nodal officer at chandigarh. After their promises i have not received any fruitful results.

                                      On above it is requested that matter be taken up with bharti airtel for harrashing his customer for providing a small information and which is not free of cost. My details are as under:-
