Sir, my name is Suman Ghosh. I activated Airtel mobile office daily plan of Rs.5/- on 24th december. I got 50MB mobile internet which will stay for two days, means till 25th december 12'O clock at night. Sir, all though I get full network at my home, but I can't use this service because of Airtel's network congestion. I can't download anything, it stopped after downloading of 1MB content. My handset model is Nokia N72 and I have Mobile Office setting. I complained customer care for two times but they cut my call holding it for 10 minutes. Sir, the number of my Airtel SIM is [protected]. I want that money back. Please help me.

AirTel — Airtel Mobile Office Not Working

In my area the Airtel Mobile Office is not working & the charge for that service is cutted .in other area it is working easily.I complaint 4 times to customer care but no response form them. Give my 395 rs. or i can go on consumer forum in 7 days after this complain.

i want to introduce myself as jagdish kumar verma . i m recently working as inspector income tax deptt. in kalyan. I want to take an new airtel connection . For that i submitted a letter from the dyptti commissioner of Income tax written on their letter pad giving my recent residintial address .But it was very strange for me when i come to know that Mr. sandeep who was the incharge of the kalyan airtel galary told me that it will not work. I tried to make him understand but it was of no use .finally when i asked him to make me speak to some senior he make a call to Miss sonali who was in Ullhasnagar .she also didnt know about the Income Tax deptt. as she was asking to me weather it is a compeny ? it was looking like that students from metric classes were admitted to your company for the service who dnt have any knowledge. I am very much unsatisfied from the service provided by your airtel galary in kalyan near to rly. station.
so please kindly guide me that what should i do and how and where i can submit my enrollment form . My contact no. is [protected]. I hope you will consider my request .

coustmer of BSNL landline bearig No:[protected] is not under working conditon since two months .Facing the the same problem atleast once in amonth.Need permanent rectification of this problem.Already we informed several times .please rectify the problem immediately. then only we pay the Billpayment.otherwise we want to withdraw the connection

AIRTEL TELECOM — Not transferring the telephone connection

Airtel has given several mobile connections in our office as Corporate connections.

In Sep-10, Airtel Sales personnel had visited to my office and offered me landline cum broadband connection for my residence in Lucknow City. They also installed Wi-Fi modem etc. at my home (connection no.[protected]

In Oct-10, I shifted to an apartment in nearby locality in Lucknow city (having more than 200 families & in existing since last 3 year).

Immediately, I put my request to Airtel for shifting the phone connection on their customer care phone no. 4444121 (Request no. 387406 dated 30-Oct-10).

Suddenly last week their personnel Mr. Rashid Khan (Mobile no. [protected]) called me and told me that my request was for [censored]ing the phone within the home (one room to another room).

Immdiately, I kept him on hold and once again talked to Customer Care; in turn they confirmed I was right and my request was for shifting to my new address.

Now Airtel is saying that they will not shift the connection and moreover I have to also pay for Wi-Fi modem and other hardwares; even though I used connection in between Sep'10 to Oct10.

I also requested them to either provide the connection OR take back the modem & hardwares etc. and take money for services NOT for hardware; since connection was there for a month or so & hardwares are not of any use to me now without any connection.

Now, they have started threatening to pay and sending guys to extract money.

Kindly intervene.

Airtel Telecom — AIRTEL COMPLAINT HELPLINE IS NOT TOLL FREE

I was called Airtel Complaint helpline on 31/12/2010 at 10.24pm. The call duration was 14minutes27seconds (and Ref. No-CBDCC[protected]). Airtel Charged Rs-2/- for that. IF COMPLAINT HELP LINE IS TOLLFREE THEN WHY THEY CHARGED Rs-2/-.

Airtel Telecom — customer services & packages

these mobile services do not provide any services, don't receive the call and make a misbehave with me in online. and don't serve good services. and also do not try to solve my problem & not attend my complained.
i disagree with this airtel telecom prepaid services and customer services.
the Airtel customer services have an misbehave with me and do attend my call toward it. and do not solved my problem.

Please be informed that there were Rs.50 balance amount in my account. On 17th March, 2011 morning I checked my balance and found Rs.30 deducted and got the message "Your Airtel Friendz Chat Service has been renewed". But I am sure I did not apply for any friendship chat. I called to customer care (at 198) at 6:52AM regarding this problem (Ref: No. CBDFC[protected] to cancel this activation. But customer care did not respond to my complain. I am not highly profile man and Rs.30 has much importance for me.

Hence, I would like to request to refund my amount(Rs.30). Otherwise, I am helpless to disconnect this Airtell connection.

    My name is Keshav Saini and I stay in East of Kailash, New Delhi. On 18th December, 2010, 6 Days back from the date of posting of this complaint, I purchased an Airtel Sim and activated it on the same day. My sole purpose was to use it with 3g data card for internet browsing.

    I never made any call nor sent any sms to anybody and nobody other than me and Airtel knows my number, since I am using it only in data card. But from the same day my sim was activated, I am receiving promotional sms from telemarketing agencies since my data card also accepts text messages.

    So the question arises how my number was leaked to telemarketing agencies? It's only Airtel that has sold my identity to telemarketing agencies without my concent and knowledge. I had applied for NDNC on the same day my service was activated. So there is a clear case of selling of personal data for financial benefits.

    I can't list here my number because doing this will further attract unsolicited sms and spamming.

    These kind of breaches should be brought into justice and the companies must be penalized for allegedly stealing and selling personal data.

    At the outset I regret to bother you for writing this letter directly to you.

    I have received an unsolicited SMS from the mobile no. [protected].

    When I called this number and asked why the message was sent to me; the reply was to ask me to contact “Airtel” and for the details of the message to contact “Aircel”.

    The phone attendee had the audacity to say that I can take legal action, which means once they are registered as telemarketers, they are not bothered about the subscriber.

    Under this scenario I would prefer to initiate action through TRAI against the telemarketer and request you to take up this matter for further action.

    I have registered under “National Do Not Disturb” and uploaded my consent 0n[protected].

    Personal — Unsolicited SMSes

    I have received messages from [protected] and when I tried to call back, he is unncessarily irritating me asking me for my address and identification details even though he is unknown to me. I really am pissed off with his continous messages and would like to know the name and address of this mobile number owner.

      According to Airtel promotions i recharged my account with Rs 98 for Airtel gprs usage upto 2GB but still they are deducting money from my main balance which is cheating with the customer.

      i followed all suggestions by Airtel customer care still facing same problem.

      3) Reset MO Settings as recevied by 542310

        Dear Sir,
        Actually my no. [protected] and i am having Balance Rs.14+ on[protected] at 5.30pm. Once i echarge done for Rs.45 for my mobile no. automatically my balance Rs.14 has been deducted and balance shows as 0.06paisa. After that i complained to Airtel customer care then told that mistake has been occured. Your problem will be solved before 16th Dec-2010. But still now deducted amount is not credited to my no.

        Second thing i am having balance Rs.35+ on[protected] around 1pm. Once after 1Hr automatically my balance Rs.13 has been deducted and balance shows as 22+. After that i complained to Airtel customer care then told that you downloaded any content from Airtel i told nothing done and then call is automatically cutted. But still now deducted amount is not credited to my no.

        Dear Sir/madam,

        i am using AIRTEL prepaid mobile services. i have daily 150free SMS plan.
        but yesterday(28.02.2011) 20rs deducted from my account.
        kindly clarify and refund the money.

        My father in law 's phone no is [protected] residing in villupuram . for the past one month he is receiving at least 30 to 40 sms from no 54321 and being debited money for UN requested services by him. he have been trying to contact customer services but they have not given that option in their call center. NO 121.

        I have Airtel Prepaid no is [protected]. Wrongly avtivate some service on this no and debited the charges.
        Plz stop all chargable servies from this no. and returns the amount on priority otherwise i will go to consumer court.

          End No. of Times I had complained That I am Not able to speak with the Custmer Care Executive on your 121, but in Vain. Should I knock the doors of the media Or the consumer court for the same, You better tell me.
          I will be the 1 one to opt for number portability of other network whenever it will come.

            Last month i got sim card Airtel no;[protected] submitting a photo and a photo copy Identify proof .Last week My no was deactivated for the reason of lack the above submitted documents.For this reason I went to Airte office at rajahmundry-VVS infotech pvt ltd for submitting the required documents again .They did not my accept my identify proof(2 wheeler licence) without valid reason.(Exe name;Miss Shanthi ).Already i having postpaid connection([protected]) which is operating from 2006.Eventhough i am having Reliance and Vodofone connection,which are got through same documents why they are not accepting this as identy proof.

            Airtel — For some unknown reason, AIRTEL has de-activated my SIM

            My SIM card was not working last month. So I applied for a duplicate SIM. Last May 12th I got a duplicate SIM

            It was working for a week. All of a sudden my SIM got de-activated. I called customer care He did not say the reason. but after some 1 hour it got activated.

            After few days again it got de-activated. Again I called customer care it got activated

            On 4th Jun around 9:30 PM again it got de-activated. I spoke to customer care on 5th Jun he said there is some problem with the details provided walk in to airtel outlet.

            On 6th I went to Airtel outlet(Koramangala) they said for some reason it got de-activated. Give us a complaint and it ll be activated in 4hrs(Already 3 times I complained). I gave compliant at 12:00 PM. Even after 3 days also no response from Customer care..

            Is there a way i can sue these people

            AirTel — CONNECTION DEACTIVATED

            I HAD MOBILE CONNECTION OF AIRTEL[protected], LIFE TIME VALIDITY. CONNECTION TAKEN ALMOST ONE YEAR AGO. LAST RECHARGE DONE ON 26 JUNE 2009. SUDDENLY IN LAST WEEK MOBILE WENT OUT OF CONNECTIVITY WITH MESSAGE AS SIM REGISTRATION FAILED. AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE COULD NOT RESOLVE THE ISSUE. THEY RATHER ADVISED TO VISIT NEAREST AIRTEL OFFICE. WHEN I HAD VISITED AIRTEL OFFICE, I CAME TO KNOW THAT THE NUMBER HAS BEEN BLOCKED FOR SOME UNKNOWN REASON AND NUMBER ALREADY FOR ALLOCATION TO NEW CUSTOMER. I AM A REGULAR USER OF THE MOBILE AND HAD TO LOSS HAVOC IN TERMS OF GOODWILL IN OFFICE. THROUGH YOUR OFFICE I WANT TO DEMAND A COMPENSATION OF NOT MORE THEN RS 5 LAKH FROM AIRTEL FOR THE HARRASHMENT AND CHEATING DONE BY AIRTEL.

            Airtel Prepaid — Deactivation of prepaid connection

            I had procured the above prepaid connection no [protected] on 6th January, 2009 from M/s Prafulla Stores, 16/2, Raja Manindra Road, Kolkata-700 037 on payment of Rs 199/- for which a wristwatch inscribed with the signature of Mr. Shahrukh Khan was gifted to me.The connection was with 1 year validity.

            The sim was also activated in due course and I had also recharged the same.

            Since I was away for sometime, I did not use the connection for sometime and on 27th August, 2009 when I tried to use the connection, a message was received stating that "SIM registration failed". I immediately contacted the Customer Care Executive and to my utter surprise I was informed by the Executive that the said number is not a valid one and that the system does not have any information about the said connection.

            I still remember that address verification was duly made by the their representative and I had been using the connection satisfactorily.

            A mail was also sent in this respect to the cocerned Nodal Officer alongwith a copy of the application form submitted for the said connection.

            The connection is yet to be restored.

            Airtel Prepaid — deactivation of connection by the company

            I am using the following four airtell connections.[protected](myself) [protected](my wife) [protected] (my son) [protected] (my daughter).all the sim cards were obtained giving I.D proof /photographs of myself &my son . Now connection to the no.[protected] is deactivated by your company being I.D proof negative.I am not responsible for the lapses on the part of your agents in submitting the I.D proof to the company. I also suspect misuse of the I.D proof/photograph by somebody. My full adress is given hereafter. George Thomas ,No.D4 B,Government quarters,Harihar nagar ,Nalanda ,Nanthencode, Kowdiar, Tvpm 3.               Dear Mr Sunil Mittal / Mr Sanjay Kapoor,

              This is to inform you that I started using your services trusting your brand's values however I never thought that I will have such a painful experience with your company. The way your team handles its customers is simply pathetic.

              Let me brief you the entire story :

              I purchased your Broadband connection a few month's ago. The number provided to was[protected]. It was installed after a big argument as the connection was installed crossing its SLA after a week. When I denied installing the connection then your engineer came & did the installation in just 2 hours.

              Two months later I changed my address & requested for the House Change process. I again took 20 days for completion where the Request was made for the same city, same location; just a few houses away from the original address.

              I did not like the service provided for the house move & denied continuing the service; however your collection team promised me that they will not charge me anything for the relocation & will waive off all the amount. I paid the rest of the amount which was told to me after the waived off amount.

              The service continued for another month however the worst thing happened after one month, when I received my next bill. I observed that the promises made were all fake & your team in the call center said that you are not eligible for any such waiver.

              The moment I heard this I disconnected your services & thrown out all the equipment provided to me. I never used your services after that. It was in the month of July or Aug 2010.

              After that, some tragedy occurred in my family & I was not in state of enjoying any such services in my life. Since then you team is making call to me / my relatives that they will come & arrest me. Some calls were abusive too. Some one is saying that the amount is 4700, some is saying its 2200 some one is just making threatening calls without any reason.

              I would like to tell you that I too work in the service sector & we have never made such abusive calls to our customers (This is simply not acceptable as per TRAI guidelines). I would also like to tell you that I had a number [protected] with your company & it was a post paid number. On this number your company has to return me some amount. If I wanted I too could make such abusive call to you however I never did. The amount is still pending with the company.

              The day one of my relative got an abusive call from you side I logged a complaint in the consumer forum & also on web site http://www.complaints-india.com/7686/comment.html which is still not resolved. Your Customer Service Team Member Rakesh Ranga has assured me that the issue will be resolved. It means that its been pending from your side not from my side.

              Without Resolving the matter I got a call from [protected] / [protected] these numbers yesterday & these people said that there is a non bailable warrant against me. They said that they were calling from 30 Hazari Court. This is the first time I have seen Airtel operating from 30 Hazari Court.

              Today again I got a call from[protected]. The caller's name was Diya Sharma who sits on the 2nd floor, works in collection deptt. & reports to Ashwini Sharma. Again some one called me from same ofice & same number. I have already requested to your team that I do not want to use your services & disconnect me from your network.

              By writing this mail to you I am again requesting you to kindly disconnect my connection. The way you have treated me from day one; do not deserve any kind of payments from my side. It actually requires you to pay me some amount for the harassment you have given to me & my relatives.

                Airtel Prepaid Haryana — Cheating, wrong information

                I am with No. [protected] from more than 5 months. I august 2009,
                I have received SMS automated calls from Airtel, “recharge with Rs 69 to retain your life time validity services”.
                Immediately I have recharged with Rs502 on 21/08/09 2:37pm and activated my GPRS service but calls & SMS were not abandoned.
                Than recharged with Rs.70 on 25/08/09
                Again calls & SMS were not abandoned.
                Called to customer care talked with some Prabjot, he said don’t worry avoid them you have already recharge with Rs. 572
                After few days I SIM registration was failed
                I talked to Customer Care team leader, some girl said we are sorry for the wrong information provided by prabjot but we can’t help you at all.
                I contacted nearer Airtel shop and after a huge struggle of 5 days got my services bak.
                Than I have recharged with Rs333 on 28/09/2009, TransID[protected]
                But again I got SIM registration is failed, I contacted to customer care thy said “information here says you SIM is to be stopped on 6, oct, 2009, and we can’t help you in this we are sorry”.
                This time I am fed up with Airtel, please provide the solution.

                i hv checked my left megabytes on[protected] morning, and after 1 hour i again check it was 24 mb less then the prevoius..
                i hv called customer care but they are saying ur computer and mobile reading is incorrect...
                means they are cheating customers...
                they talk rudely also...

                  I was using Airtel Friends card since 5-6years. Now since 2-3 Months I was not using it since I was out of state(Maharastra). Now I came back the sim was unable to register on the network.When i called the CC they told me that no is allote dto someone else.My no have still validity upto 2014. I am going to launch consumer care compliant.What else i should do before that?

                    Airtel Mobile Services — Miss-Calls

                    Hi, this is Sandeep from Vashi, Navi Mumbai. This is my second complaint in this site as there was no action taken to my previous complaint. I am gettin regular miss-calls for these numbers atleast twice in a day. The numbers are [protected], [protected] and 64509517. I would like know as to what action has to be taken. I called up Airtel Call centre on 121 and the solution they gave was to lodge an FIR to the nearest police station. I would rather not get involved with the police as this might create a nuisance and a waste of time as I dont get that much time to run around. Kindly let me know what is the other options for me and or atleast let me know whether I can block the above mentioned numbers.

                      My sim no. is [protected]. Everytime when I recharge my sim, Airtel deduct some of my money without any information and my balance decreased. Yesterday (22-Dec-2010), I recharged my sim with an amount of Rs. 50. Today I made a call of Rs. 2.20 but now the balance is showing only Rs. 25 in my sim. Why Airtel does like this. We can never reach to Airtel Customer Care because everytime when we try to reach customer care, the connection is disconnected without transferring our call to Customer care officer.

                      I am using sms pack of this airtel company in which all sms are free. but in last bill i was charged Rs. 186+taxes for sms.

                      On inquiry customer care people said that these sms were charged because i sent them on a dusshera, a blackout day.

                      Now in india there are at least 100 festivals in a year. how can i know that which is a blackout day and which is not.

                      Airtel can send me sms to download wallpapers, to consume value added services. but it can not send me a sms regarding information which can be useful to me. and after charging they say, nothing can be done. you have to pay.

                      Come on Indian politicians. bring number portability system and then customer automatically force them to give better services.

                        I am having prepaid connection no.[protected]- now the sim is not working. it is showing 'invalid sim'. There is no problem in the mobile piece. It is the problem lies with service provider. Two years got they obtained my id particulars. Three months back, they again called my id particulars and verified and informed that I have submitted the same. But they said that they will send their person to call id particulars from me. They did not send any person. Now, without intimating in advance, they cut my services. this type of attitude of airtel is no appreciable. When I tried to contact over other cell number, they are even charging for the said customer care services. It is too riduculous to charge like that. It seems they do not want customers.

                        Airtel costumer Care is limited in its pre recorded informations. No talk with Costumer care Executive is possible even after months of restless effort to redress any grievance.This sort of cheating be detected and company may be HEAVILY PUNISHED

                        Bharati Airtel Prepaid mobile — useless customer care

                        I e recharge Rs 98 for GPRS, Air tel deducted another Rs 98 from my main balance and when contacted costumer care the reply was very straight no refund possible u can use 2 Gb data. I down loaded the mobile office, Gprs was activated on my SIM. But could not able to browse from my laptop. Tried 5 days but could not able to contact the costumer care. After a long 5 days when contacted the CC, the reply was sir I am not aware of the setting. When contacted his supervisor her reply was also same but in a polite way. How ever contacted the data card service of Airtel, and the reply was disgusting. She started telling me a long story which clearly indicated the technical ignorance. Finally I contacted the Micromax costumer care and my problem was solved in less than 5 minutes.

                        If the costumer care executives can not help the costumers then what is the use. Airtel that to made the CC numbers tolled. It is just an service provider which wants to suck the money without providing any support. The experience with being with Airtel is disgusting.

                            I have postpaid Airtel mobile phone (no.[protected]) connection.I normally clear my airtel mobile bill (month-wise) well in due date. Accordingly, against Airtel Bill Number[protected] Dated 13/11/2010 my payable amount was Rs.234.81 & corresponding due date was 01.12. 2010, I paid Rs.234/- on 22.11.2010 (i.e well witihin due date). To my utter surprise I found, Airtel, in Bill no.[protected] Dated 13.12.2010, is asking for Rs.234.81 as previous balance & payments made - Rs.129/- ,and for Bill period (11 Nov. 2010 to 10.Dec.2010) charges is Rs.230.53 (against which I have paid Rs.230/- on 20. 12 .2010) . I have all the previous Airtel bill records which show that I have regulerly cleared my bill amounts. So Airtel should amend their mistake in the next bill.

                              Hi i m the service feeder of airtel.I hv a postpaid connection.The recent bill which i hv recieved has some faulty charges.Without any intimation they changed my postpaid plan from 199 to 469 in which they have added Rs100 as a conection charges as well as they hv also charged Rs 75 as a late fee of previous bill but i submited the bill on time but they ddnt accepted my cheque and after inquiring i was informed that the account mentioned in the cheque was short of cash but there was enough cash in the account mentioned in the cheque than I inquired with Airtel helpline and they accepted there fault and told that i will not be charged late fee in the next cheque but inspite of this they charged late fee charges fee on this bill.So i want a rectified cheque nw.I will not submit the bil untill i recieve a new rectified cheque.Please solve my problem as soon as possible otherwise i will disconnect the connection.

                                I have read in newspapers that 'Mobile Number Portability' (MNP) has been launched in Haryana on 25th Nov 2010.
                                I am located in Faridabad(Haryana) & sent SMS to 1900 for getting UPC porting code, but, got SMS reply from 1901 that "MNP is not yet launched in your service area. SMS TO 1900 IS CHARGEABLE. THANK YOU"

                                AIRTEL to RELIANCE — cross connection from airtel to reliance

                                Hello Sir,

                                When ever i make a call from my airtel number (series 90080 -- prepaid) to reliance number (series 93430 -- postpaid), cross connection happens. Instead of the reliance number getting connected there is some other airtel number which gets connected to. This happens occasionally but not every time.

                                Whom do i approach to resolve this.

                                I have the same problem, the customer care agent puts your all on Permanent hold when you ask about MNP.

                                But no body is ready to respond to this problem..

                                On the other hand i tried same SMS from Reliance GSM & instantly Received UPC Code.

                                Airtel guys by doing this you are spoiling you name & getting worst than Reliance...WAKE UP...!!!

                                Dont undersatnd Why is AIRTEL getting so insecure about this customers?...

                                Reliance denying MNP to Airtel — Reliance denying MNP to Airtel

                                Hello,
                                My mother wants to port her Reliance CDMA mobile number to Airtel GSM. The UPC that was given from her existing service provider had expiry date of 24/10/2011 . I submitted the required documents and the UPC to Airtel on 17-Oct-2011, but still the number has not been port to Airtel. I contacted both the service providers, both of them told me to contact the other company CC! Airtel says they can't help cause Reliance hasn't done their work and Reliance said "contact airtel"!!
                                From the conversation I had with both Reliance and Airtel CC, I am quite sure that Reliance is the culprit! Their CC takes 15 to 30 minute to connect and CC personnel is utterly non-cooperative! They are nothing but a company of thieves and dacoits. Anil Ambani himself is a BIG THIEF!! They have illegally deducted balance(sometimes rs2, sometimes rs5) from my mother's mobile lots of times, their network is thirdclass. Even in this era of technology revolution they somehow manage to create cross-connection,call drop, noisy calls etc etc. These are the main reason(among others) my mother is porting-out of Reliance.

                                  I have an Airtel Prepaid sim with mobile No: [protected]... My outgoing calls were stopped on 14'thDec, saying that Documents were not submitted. I have submitted my documents around 6 times from 4'th Dec onwards. But there is no proper action from their side & today my incoming also stopped.
                                  Actually I was a postpaid customer till 4'th Dec. Being a post paid customer I submitted my documents (Ration card & BSNL land line bill) in Oct, they accepted the docs immediately.

                                  Later on 4'th Dec, I converted to pre-paid & submitted the same docs. I got a SMS on 13'th Dec and they stopped outgoing on 14'thDec.
                                  From 15'th Dec I have submitted my docs 4 time, details given below:
                                  1) Date :[protected] Application No: OMR No 3186631 at Nutec Airtel relations AS Rao Nagar.
                                  2) Date :[protected] Application No: AP[protected] at Nutec Airtel relations AS Rao Nagar.

                                  on 21'st Dec I received SMS saying that " we have received an incomplete prepaid application from you. Please submit a new application with complete details & supporting documents at nearest Airtel shop".

                                  I submitted the prepaid application also ....No use...My incoming also stopped.

                                  Please let me know How to proceed further?? What can I do now??

                                    I am getting SMS to submit the documents related to the connection that i took almost 4 years back and i rememeber submitting all the required documents while taking the connection at that time only.

                                    When i called your customer care in this regard to let me know which document that i submitted was not complete they had no answers.

                                    And adding to that you guys are telling that submit it by this time otherwise your services would be barred.

                                    This is your responsibilty to keep all the documents intact and if anything is incomplete then you must tell at the time of providing the connection itself.

                                    You are just harrassing your customers and this is not the professional way.
                                    A person who is bsuy all week days from morning to night, how will he get the time to resubmit the documents and that too becuase of your faults.

                                    If my services are going to get barred then let it be as i am not intersted in using the services provided by such compaines who cannot even manage their documents and find different ways of harrassing their valued customers.

                                    Hello, I am a airtel mobile consumer for last 1+ years (Mobile # [protected]). Recently I got sms and call as well regarding resubmission of the documents and provided time span is very minimal. After getting in touch with customer care I came to know that the required documents has to be submitted on a particular location which is far away from my place. I do understand that it is government norm and airtel has to follow it but how they expect consumers to resubmit these documents on such a short span of time. Especially when if a consumer is working for a private firm for 12+ hours in a day.
                                    At the time of selling the product airtel sells it at every cornor of a street then why can't they make such arrangements to collect the documents again. Or why can't they send their executives to collect it.

                                      Fair Usage Policy

                                      FUP:- Speed of customer's connection will reduce to Half during day time after crossing a Specified Limit.

                                      For Eg::

                                      If the customer on Turbo 1299 plan with Speed 512 Kbps in Day and 1 Mbps in Night
                                      Total usage exceeds 100 GB in a bill cycle.
                                      The day speed ie 512 Kbps will be reduced to 256 Kbps and the night Speed will remain as it is.
                                      The speed will become normal from the next bill cycle.

                                      Now they (Airtel) have migrated my plan with 10 GB data limit with out my knowledge & permission, when I asked about this issue with airtel customer care


                                      they told me that airtel customer care had called me dated 05th december 2010 @ 04:03:17 PM at my mobile number.

                                      But

                                      I have never received any call from Airtel or its associate at my cell number or my landline number.


                                      Please launch a complain against airtel for this fraud done by them through their end.

                                      they have very bad history regarding activation & migration of plans at their end to cheat the customer, last time within month they had actived games on demand service at their end without my knowledge and add rs 199 in my account.

                                      from yesterday night I am getting speed as, I should get.

                                      I will monitor this for some days, after that, I will notify again.

                                      at present time this issue has been solved.

                                      But as Airtel has done something wrong in last two months in tow different cases, I would like to wait & watch about this issue.

                                      after some days, I will finally close this issue, when everything will be fine.

                                      I must get 1 mbps speed in night.

                                      but they are not giving it they are providing just 256 kbps speed.

                                      u r cheating with your customer

                                      airtel has worst plans in India.

                                        This is regarding the Airtel Prepaid Subscribers' Resubmission drive that Airtel is currently undertaking.

                                        1. I started getting these SMS's that the documents that I had submitted while applying for the Prepaid Card(around 7 years ago) were INAPPROPRIATE, and I was asked to resubmit them. When I called the customer care service and asked what was inappropriate, they said all my documents were! I had submitted my valid Drivers License as Address and ID proof (the license that i still use!). I dont understand, without verifying, how can they term a legal, valid set of documents as inappropriate!!!!!

                                        2. Then, without notice they started disrupting my services, and everytime I'd call customer care, they would say it is okay and revert to normalcy within half hour.

                                        3. I then went and re-submitted my prepaid application form along with the same Drivers License as proof, along with a copy of my PAN card as proof for PAN number at the Airtel Relationship Centre, Gandhi Bazaar. ( Prepaid Application number: 1299155) day before yesterday, i.e. 20th December 2010. (attaching a picture of the submitted application form. the file name has details of mobile number etc)

                                        Today morning, they've barred all my outgoing calls, SMS etc. This is harassment to the subscriber. I could not even make a call to the customer care to explain the situation. I had to disturb a friend with an Airtel connection to help me out and they say, they will revert to normalcy in 4 hours! Why should I bear the wrath of their mismanagement and inappropriate docs?

                                        I would like this to be treated in all seriousness by the company.

                                        Over past couple of weeks, i've realized that i'm not the only one who is facing these kind of problems.
                                        My airtel connection has been existence for more than 3 years.

                                        While applying for the postpaid connection, i'd submitted all the documents and even verification was done. 2 years back, i converted my connection to prepaid and once again i submitted all the documents.

                                        Now i'm told that the documentation is not complete and in last 2 weeks, my number has been deactivated twice.

                                        When i spoke with the customer care (4 times), the representative as well as the Floor manager agreed that there has been mistake from Airtel. Else how come the Account Name and the address match perfectly with their records.

                                        Airtel guys could not answer any of my questions.

                                        It is really unfortunate that Airtel is harassing its customers like this even when they know that the mistake is on their side.

                                        Airtel is known for its Customer Service. If things continue like this, Number Portability is going to give a hard time to these guys.
