I am a mobile phone subscriber with Airtel. My mobile No. is [protected]. My name is Mrs Swadesh Misra.
Right from the time I applied for the connection, I have indicated my gender in absolute unambiguous words but the company in all its correspondence addresses me as 'Mr'. I have brought this to the notice of the company's functionaries a number of times, there is no response and I continue to be addressed as 'Mr Swadesh Misra'. This depicts the total insensitive attitude of the company.
May I , therefore, seek your intervention in this regard to have the records straightened.

AirTel — mobile phone

sir i am 1.5 year user of airtel number which is [protected]
and from of this month he was continewesly deducting after sending a sma " you havebeen charged 10/15 rupees for my (...) from my priped account

because i did clear told 2 them "sir i dont want 2 use any other facility on this number you please d-activate my all other services execpt sms & call
then he cummit me o.k sir and after 3 days same thing happining agen.
and agen i did call 2 customer care they give me an sms code and tole me sir you please send this sms to me agen i did try for that but sms sending have been feld

and i did told them sir i am actuly unabel 2 do that so please give me your email id or nodle officer e mail id where i can sent my problume but they told me i cant give you

so now you please help me because i am realy very burry about that

    I had booked an Airtel DTH connection through my local dealer M/S Dass Electronics, Sibbari Road, Karimganj-788711, Assam on[protected]. They told me that my connection will be installed within 48 hours. Subsequently I got a phone call from their call centre and asked to recharge for Rs. 1590.00. Accordingly I paid that amount through IVR by my credit card. I was given transaction ID 11699199 from their side.

    But, it is very much unfortunate to say that, the amount is not credited in my account till date. I complained several times through phone and email, but failed to get any satisfactory reply from their side. I also provided my credit card statement reflecting the transaction to them 2 times.

    I request you to find an early solution to my problem.

      we have deposit the amount in your aitel lobby in vasali in gaziyabad dated 02/02/2008 through debit card amount is 798-00, he give me bill 798, but account no is mentioned is[protected] but my bill account no is[protected].So i have attached to pdf for biiling and debit card swiping slip. Please see these matter and clearfy this billing ammount ASAP.

      I am recieving sms from 61611015 saying thanks for using airtel live .for all these sms i ahve been deducted Rs.15/- per sms.

      I recieve 5-7 sms every month for last 3 months.

      had complained so many time on customer care by mail or by call but no result found.
      I have done twice online payment to airtel from which one was reflected and other was not, so i complained many times to customercare they said to take the account details and go to Airtel gallery, i showed them the account details they said it will be reflected in two days but after four days we again went and complained then again said we are sorry we will updated this by two days but again they have not done. This is height of frustration ...I will now go to Consumer court for this.

      I have been an Airtel customer for the last six years. I had an Airtel connection no [protected] and which was discontined about two years ago as I was offerd a better plan with add on card by Airtel. I had been making payments for my earlier no. directly from my bank through netbanking, and had tried to register my new number for the same , but probably failed, due to this I wrongly paid an amount of Rs. 2500 to my earlier account number instead of the existing one. On realising my mistake, immediately called up ghe customer care on 121 and informed them of the problem, who promptly registered my complaint and gave me the complaint number and informed me that the said amount get transferred to my existing account within 48 hrs and that I would receive a message confirming the same witin 48 hrs, however since I did not receive any information I once again called the customer care to check regarding the status of my complaint, and I was informed that the needful was being done. On 16th October I received a call from the customer informing me that my complaint has been cancelled as they were unable to trace the account nuber of my earlier cell number and was instead asked me to contact the nearest Airtel gallery, which I did only on 6th Nov. as I was away from Mumbai.
      On contacting the person at the gallery I was given a hotline number and asked to speak to the executive on that number, on contacting the said executive , instead of speaking to me insisted on speaking to the person from the gallery, subsequent to his talk with the executive the gallery person asked me to submit photo copy of my bank statement which i did oWhen conacted after 3days I was told that a complaint has been logged, but I would be required to pay the current bill and that the amount in dispute would be adjusted against my bill for the following month, upon which I paid the bill, but to my suprise, intead of adjusting the amount of Rs 2500 I was sent a bill of Rs 2450.

      I had on 12th Dec sent a mail to the nodal officer of Airtel regarding the same but there was no response, subsequently I received a phone call from a lady regarding my payment on 16th Dec I informed her about my problem, who then asked me to send a mail to one Mr Aggarwal at aegis global, the collection agency for Airtel, which I did on 17th, but to no avil.

      I therefore seek your guidance and help in this matter

      I am using airtell mobile since last 3 years ([protected]). I was making payment regularly, my last payment detail as under

      one payment made on 16-06-10 that payment detail i have done this payment in cash to airtell executive.

      From last two monts they have stoped my servises, they are telling me that i have not done any payment since i have activeted my mobile no (since last 5 months) Acctually i am using this phone no since last three years. and doing payment regularly.

      I have done payment of 4300 rs. in month of may but the payment was not reflecting in my next bill so i had talk to custemer care officer, nodal officer and even i have visited several time to airtel gallary, But i have not get any resolution after that i also paid 1600 rs twise. but that also not reflect in my next bill. after that they discontinue my mobile no. After 15 days in mont of agust i had several call from airtell colection team regarding payment. I had given all the details to them. But every 3 to 4 days they call me for payment but not giving any resolution of payment i have done in past. they are literally harresing me and forcing me to do payment.


      Now Airtell collection officer using my dialed phone no. They calling my all reletive,parents wife,friends and harresing them and me also. i told them details then they are telling that we dont have these details so you have to pay

      This in reference to one of my airtel number [protected] wherein i made the payment on this account which airtel has posted to some other number. in spite of calling airtel several times they didnt reverted the payment fr approx a month and they were just posting late fee charges. we also asked them to disconnect the number however they didnt do the same. now we are getting harrassment calls. i m genuine airtel customer as i hav 3 other numbers and if you check the history other bills are paid timely. i want the action to be taken asap.

      Dear Sir,

      I have taken airtel broadband connection past 2 months back by the name of Bhawana Abbott, I paid Rs500 for the new connection. However, after few days I was informed by representative named Mukesh that at my place there is no wiring system available. Then I requested for refund, he said I will get the refund after 15days now its been 2 months I have not heard anything from anyone. I have contacted the customer service as well and they informed me that I will receive check at my place, again I have not yet received anything from anyone. I am really very disappointed with your services and wont recommend anyone to use airtel broadband in future. I have got CEF No. 3161575 and the check was under the name Pallavi Abbott. Please do let me know when will I receive the check. I also have mobile number for representative that is-[protected]. My last complaint number is 407725.

      I Had taken BB 3G with Airtel , but after few days I lost my Data Card and then contacted Airtel to stop the service as I will not be using the service as i lost the Data Card , still the person whom i spoke was not helpful to be hence , i went to airtel office directly on the same day to inform the same that i have lost the data card hence want to stop the service and the person there confirmed that my service is stopped . But next month again i got a bill for the period i dint use my service hence called them and informed that i have requested to stop the service but still they were not helpful. Many times i have sent a mail to them and also again went directly to there out let but there were very rude and blaming me that i have not send the request to stop the service . And still sending mail to them regarding the same but still they are asking to pay for the service i have not used. I am feed up with this i will never recommend this service to any one this is the worst service provider i have ever seen . Who had treated there customer so badly and also i have gone with depressed becoz of this as there are also threatening me that they will send a legal letter , if i get any legal letter i am sure i will take this future to consumer court as i have all proof of calling airtel and also the data shows i have not used the service .

        My name is Jaspreet singh and i am staying in Bangalore. Sir I am very much harassed by Airtel. I want to explain my Issue . Sir I was using Landline No [protected]. On month of August they send me wrong bill and I requested them to correct but they not corrected after that I raised complaint on 29th august complaint no – 37003366 that please correct the bill or close the connection. After that again I got 2-3 calls and they are not willing to do so I have given the request please close the connection. But they have not closed my connection. after 3 months these people started calling me many times . and today they send the legal notice. Sir I am feeling that without my any fault they are harassing me like any thing. I want to tell that I am 3 years old customer and paying every amount on time. I given the request to close the connection on august itself why these people have not closed my connection, why these people have not corrected my bill. when I am sending mails they are not responding. Sir my English is not so good may be I am not able to explain every thing but sir I want some strict action against bharti airtel as soon as possible. Please find the mails shared between me and airtel below.
        Sir I am very small person and please help me in this according to law. when they make mistake we have to pay I don't want to continue with same. Please if want you can send this mail to other concerned departments.

        Hi sunil Bharti Mittal

        I am customer of your airtel Broadband from last 5 years. Previously I was proud customer of airtel but now I feel shamed that I was ever part of that. I am also shareholder of airtel. Please see the matter below if you can do something otherwise I will raise in other platforms.

        I raised the complained against wrong bill on 29th august 2010 with complaint no – 37003366. In the same call I told if this is not solved I will not pay. ( No body want to pay more and it was double amount) . Customer care told It is resolved in 2 days. After 2 and half month I got call with all additions like late payments etc. Then these your stupid people in 10 days given me 50 calls, I want to know where these people are when I raised a complaint. Please ask them not to give me so many calls otherwise I am going to raise this in gov platform.

        I am ready to pay what is correct amount of 1 month 6 days - ( amount I paid for installation) . Because this is poor or say very poor service I got from your side and so service agreement is broken from your side. As I already told please close My connections and send me correct bill upto 2 of september minus all other installation.

        Waiting for your quick reply. Reply in 3 working days.

          i took a new airtel connection phone no. [protected] and in a span of 34 days since the connection started , value-added services (VAS) automatically are activated on my phone 3 times, without my knowledge and consent and amounts are debited from my prepaid account.
          I have complained to airtel all 3 times, they are so shameless they keep repeating the same fraud again and again.
          The same cheating 3 times in 34 days !

          AirTel — UNAUTHORISED DEBIT

          My balance was deducted by Rs.50/- on 14.09.2007, I have made acomplaint vide request no.[protected] but not solved till date after one month.They have not been able to provide the detail for debit and not refunded my amont till date.

          Airtel — unauthorised debit from my prepaid balance

          My mobile number is [protected] with Airtel. Airtel debitedfrom my prepaid A/C a sum of Rs.30/- in name of 'Music on demand', though i didnot requisition this service. When I came to know of the same, I lodged a complaint with their Customer Care Service. One month back also, Airtel had debited Rs.20/- from my prepaid A/C for the same service and on my complaint, they withdrew this offer but did not refund the money deducted. Thus they have been debiting my A/C even for services not requisitioned and never availed of by me. When I contact their Customer Care Service, they simply make excuses and express their helplessness. I request that Airtel should be impressed upon to refund the amounts debited illegaly and not to cheat me in future. S.C.Sharma

          Airtel — Unauthorised debits to my prepaid account

          I am having a prepaid account no [protected] of airtel. For last few days my mobile was switched off and I had credit balance of around Rs 50 . Today I switched on my mobile and I found i have -10 Rs in may prepaid balance.
          Airtel has been debiting me for cricket pack & other services which i never subscribe. Moreover I hate cricket and I get cricket score when matchs are on.

          I tried to call customer care number 121 but nobody replied.

          Please let me know whom shoul I contact.

          It is not the questin of money. I feel cheated by this company.

            i am a retailer of airtel in rampur up west , under distributor GARG AGENCIES . HE BARRED MY FLEXI SIM CARD WITH A BALANCE OF RS 13000 IN IT . I ALSO TALKED TO THE REGIONAL MANAGER OF THE AREA , BUT HIS BEHAVIOUR WAS TOTALLY RUDE . EVEN HE DID NOT ATTENDED THE CALLS BY ME .there was no reason with him to barred the sim .

              hey guys my number is [protected] and i am having a list of complaint against airtel ... these guys are automatically starting VAS service in my number some time job alert some time property alert and some time other ... ad when i called these guys then they give one of excuses that it is not possible and its not with me only . i m contact there 20 -25 people who faces the same problem . but no body is ready to listen and if the things didn't get in order then we are planning to raise a complaint in consumer court and all other consumer form . so people become aware about what the the airtel is .

              my second complaint is that i buy Nokia n8 and airtel promised to give 6 month free internet and so when i insert my air tel Sim then even after 10 days there is no service activation and when i call there customer care then these guys say that they are not answerable to the ads.. which company made. so who the [censored] hell is responsible and after some day i got message that 6 month free internet is activated in my number. so when i check validity by dialing *123*10# then only i got validity of 20 days so what the is this.. so guy plz advice me is i can file the case of false advertisement , breach of contract , mental harassment ... and if some guy from airtel is reading this then reply me by email .. my email address is [protected]@gmail.com..

                      This is in reference to some channels subscribed through Airtel Digital TV, the company does change the pacakages as and when they launch a new scheme and charge the consumer on any pretex of deleting or adding a few channels. This causes a lot of inconvenience.
                      More over its a one way traffic, ie,, a consumer can only top up an additional channel but does not have the facility to delete the channel from the subscription list and the corresponding amount for the channel must be credited back to the customer. if not these DTH companies continue to fleece the customer under one pretext or the other.

                        I had purchased C3 nokia mobile along with a new prepaid airtel connection no. [protected]. Airtel had promotion scheme with nokia in which airtel was giving 6 months GPRS free upto 2 GB on new C3 nokia handset. Inspite of my repeated complaints and reminders the problem has not been resolved. SERVICE REQUEST NUMBER [protected] has already been lodged with Airtel on 2/12/2010. On 7.12.2010 I again emailed a reminder to 121.Subsequently I received a reply asking for scanned copy of bill and IMEI number of the handset. A scanned copy of bill and other details as required were mailed to them. After that inspite of repeated reminders I have not received any reply nor the problem has been resolved.

                        Airtel Prepaid — Refund for GPRS Activation

                        Dear Sir,

                        My Airtel prepaid connection No. is [protected]. I lost my mobile on 14/07/2011 so i have bought a duplicate sim card. Today on 11/08/2011 Rs.98/- was been deducted from my account for GPRS but my mobile dont have such facility to use GPRS so i have deactivated it within half an hour & i have called Airtel customer care executive but he told i wont get refund because they have already activated it on my number.

                        But iam not going to use this service so why should i pay service charges for the same still they told they cant give me refund.

                        Please help me to get my refund since it is unfair with me.

                            I am pankaj kumar durgapal holding an airtel prepaid connection mob no [protected] which is about 6-7 year old .for last few month they are asking for resubmtting of identity and addres proof (as per govt of india directive) to their ceners through SMS.In month of october they close my outgoing calls due to nonsubmission of documents .so i submitted all details to them at their Vaishali sector -2 airtel offive district ghaziabad(up) through form no [protected].after the submission in coming 2 hours the open the calls and i m usuing it properly with out any problem.again in december they are sending the same messages but with the line if submitted already ignored because i have sumbited already and my serices resumed already indicates all well.now today same mesage says document incomplete and they barred my outgoing calls . i am outof station on roaming and there no helpline number working from here [protected]/or local 121/123 . i am struck completely unable to do outgoing calls

                            so finally i am nable to understand what is my fault,& who is responsible for in convinience caused to me despite the all relevent document submitted to them back in october

                              I too having a Airtel DTH connection. I took it through the offer Rs.999/-. I selected south super value pack where they offered 112. I was happy that it had all the malayalam channels and one top up which i can select from the list. This list had Tamil, Kannada and Telugu. I was using it for around four months and one day i was not able to see few malayalam channels. I called up the Customer care and they said the channels which i am referring is part of malayalam top up. I could not understand and went and looked at the web site there it had 107 channels only instead of 112. I got what they did - they just removed few malayalam channels and created a new top up and says i have to pay for it. I told them that this is not what they offered me when i took this connection and how can u change it. But customer care guys were smart and says it is only having 107 channels. I got to escalate this issue to Airtel but i got it fixed twice but it goes back to the old situation again after a month. At this point i am not using it... don t waist your time with this CC guys. and all south indians go for Sun Direct where all the major channels are free... please find attached brochure where they offered me 112 channels including malayalam. Dont take airtel dth - they will change the plan or remove any channel with out any notification on your cost.

                              Hi,
                              I bought the airtel digital TV on 14th Jan. Soon two persons from airtel visited my place and installed the DTH equipment and asked me to activate my account after 24 hrs. of installation. And i did the same on 15th Jan but the IVRS said the activation voucher i am using is invalid (i am 100% sure of entering correct PIN no.). So i raised a service request to the customer care service on that day itself. The customer care executive said that they'll look into the issue and resolve the issue as soon as possible and set 20th Jan as deadline to resolve the issue, he also promised that the services will not be blocked as the service request has been raised. He also took the Serial no. and PIN no. from me for reference. I believed the same and was in hope the services will not be affected. But on 18th Jan the services were blocked quoting negative balance. I tried calling customer care center many times but it returned no solution to the issue. Even now the service request is open and has not been solved. Clearly Airtel doesn't know the meaning of the word "deadline". From a customer point of view its is very simple, airtel company has received a sum of Rs 2500/- from my side and yet i am unable to get the services that i was promised. Airtel has failed completely to deliver what it had promised. Also they have no meaning for the word customer satisfaction, so i suggest my peers not to go for Airtel Digital TV as it gives u the "worst" services(worse than u can ever imagine). Tata Sky is the best in the market.

                              I have a airtel digital tv at my home, I want to add "ESPN PLUS" top up to my account. Which can be done only through customer care executive. But after calling in servise center the call is not transfering to customer care executive. I have tried many time in last three days but the result is same.

                              We have airtel DTH setbox and its remote has stopped functioning.After registering a complain in the toll free number they registered a complain and provided a local contact number on 5/6/10.The remote was replaced on 6/6/10 but after 2 days all the keys stopped working again.The remote worth Rs 150 stopped working after 2 days and then again we registerd a complain on 8/6/10.They local number and the toll free number customer service has dissappointed alot.They had misguided us and now dnt let us speak to the technician also.As per the complain it was said that the problem will be solved on 9/6/10 before 12:05pm at the afternoon.Its is so digusting that after calling for more than 20 times they are not able to communicate properly and are giving us false timing.The service is horrible and more than that they cheat.A new remote stopped functioning within 2 days.The a/c has been recharged with Rs 600.It is horrible and too poor.

                              I am using Airtel Digital TV. All the channels except ‘100’ are showing error code 2 with the message “the card is invalid”. My account balance is 1000+. From past 4 days i was calling the customer care those people are asking me to repeat the same steps ...remove...wipe the card ...insert and restart again . I told them that in previous calls they made me to do the same thing. No way they made repeat the same steps. After 3 calls they registered a complaint. They said the engineer will be there in 24 hrs. Since 3 days the same statement is repeating. When i ask them to connect to their supervisor their tone becomes harsh. Ridiculous service.

                                I hold a valid Airtel number - [protected] since May 2010 in Noida on my behalf only. Lately I have found that on account of "Hello tunes" or other fraud services, Airtel is deducting money from my prepaid balance. Most astonishingly the deduction comes automatically without even asking me whether I want it or not. They always keep sending unwanted messages which I don't even check at all. In one of such messages it is written that "Rs 30 have been deducted from your account on activation of hello tunes" which I never subscribed at all. In the recent incident I recharged my mobile on 3rd Dec, 2010 with Rs 50/= top-up (i.e., a prepaid balance of Rs 42) and despite not making even a single call or any other usage of phone, my balance today is zero on 13th December. I had several messages in my INBOX, in which one of the messages read as above "Rs 30 + Rs 10" have been deducted for "hello tunes" which I never subscribed at all. This is complete fraud service run by AIRTEL and I'm very sure that many innocent users are being charged falsely in a similar way. To top this situation, the most disgusting of all this service is the fact that I can't even talk to the "Customer care"in this case because it says that have insufficient balance to talk to the customer care. Imagine a situation when I had trusted of my balance and I needed to make an urgent call to customer care for some help,I would be left with no choice but to suffer at Airtel's cheating service.

                                Please address this issue at the earliest and I wish that a govt. law should enforce strict measures against these service providers for doing any unauthorized deduction from the account of a user. Hope to get the justice at the earliest.

                                Airtel — Unauthorized deduction of talk time

                                चोर है सब every thing is possible For Airtel, They are making money by cheating and worst ever customer care who have nothing to do with customers satisfaction, Me too was airtel user but now i wont back to them.

                                Airtel Connection — deduction of money from my account

                                On 7th March I received a message on my mobile that VAS package is activated on my mobile and Rs 99/- has been deducted from my account. But I did not subscribed for that. Moreover I do not even know what for this package is. When I talked to customer care executive Ms Pooja, she said this because of some technical mistake and will rectify this within 24 hr. Now, when I try to talk to customer care executive everytime they disconnect my call. I sent so many e-mails at [protected]@airtelindia.com but everytime I get recorded messaage taht within 72 hrs we will rectify it but nothing happens till now.

                                Airtel Prepaid with Airtel Live — Deduction of money without download

                                Quite often, I get Airtel service messages though I do not subsribe for those. Sometimes I click on the gmae related messages to retrieve and to my horror, money gets deducted from my prepaid account with an SMS saying "thanks for downloading java games and you have been deducted Rs. 50-/- " (at times Rs. 99). The worst part is that I have not downloaded anything at all and a call to customer care never helps.

                                Don't know how to resolve this.
                                These buggers steal, give our numbers to other advertisers and send loads of junk messages. !

                                I am a septugenarian having one Airtel lifetime connection that I continue to utilize as and when required.

                                I gather that every month an amount of Rs.30/-(Thirty only) is being deducted from my account.I fail to understand why this amount is being deducted as because I have never ventured to avail any kind of facilities that calls for charges other than talktime.

                                Kindly help me get rid of this unnecessary deduction.

                                Dear Sir,

                                This is to inform you that I have a prepaid mobile connection from Airtel No. [protected]. Lately from 26th August 2009 I am having a problem with the balance on my account. My account is debited continuously on account of downloading songs and Subscribing to Hello Tunes without my knowledge or consent. I have never ever subscribed to Hello Tunes or downloaded any song on my number but these are getting activated on my number continuously. The sequence of events is as follows:

                                1. On 26th August 09 Bal on my mobile was Rs 114.79. At around 09.15 pm I received two sms stating that my acct has been debited Rs 15/- and Rs 30/- on for subscription to Hello Tunes and downloading song which I had never subscribed for. This brought my balance down to Rs 69.79. I spoke to Mr. Rahul at your Customer Service Dept at around 09.30 pm and he informed that this was happening due to technical error at your end; He also agreed to refund the debited amount back. The transaction Id for this was [protected]. He also deactivated the services of hello tunes after I tols him that this was activated without my consent or knowledge and I do not require these services.

                                2. On 27th August 09 my account was again debited for Rs 62/- for subscription to Hello tunes and downloading songs again without my knowledge and consent. This brought my balance down to Rs 7.79. I spoke to Mr. Ankit at your customer service dept at approx 11.00 am and he refunded back Rs 47/- online. Ref Id for this is [protected]. The balance was 54.79 now. I received a call from your airtel assuring that the balance amount of Rs 60/- will also be refunded approx around 12.35 am. Ankit confirmed he is deactivating the services of hello tunes from his end and I would not face any problems later.

                                3. Again on 27th August 09 my account got further debited for Rs 25/- at around approx 2.45 pm for subscription to Hello tunes and downloading songs again without my knowledge and consent bringing my balance down to 29.79. I spoke to Ms Bhavna at your customer service dept from your GK II Outlet and she refunded back Rs 30/- approx around 3.45 pm. bringing the balance upto 59.79.

                                4. Again at around 4.30 pm on 27th August 09 there was a further deduction of Rs 45/- for subscription to Hello tunes and downloading songs again without my knowledge and consent bringing my balance down to 14.79. I spoke to Mr Vinod at Customer Service Dept at around 6.50 pm the ref id for this is[protected].He also promised that he is deactivating the services of hello tunes.

                                5. In the morning of 28th Aug 09 I spoke to Mr. Akshan at customer service at around 10.15 am regarding deductions due to Hello Tune Preview Manager. He transferred the call to Mr. Tauseef who once again confirmed that Rs 60/- will be refunded on 28th August 09 and ref id for this is [protected]. He also agreed to refund Rs 45/- online. I told him there is no point since it will again get debited within 20 - 30 minutes automatically for this hello tune service and downloading songs again without my knowledge and consent. He assured it would not happen since he is deactivating the services. He also confirmed refunds will be done on 28th August 09 and ref id for this is [protected].

                                6. On 28th August refund of Rs 60/- was done by Airtel and I received a call at 01.20 pm for the same. I spoke to Mr. Rajesh Chauhan at your Customer Service at around 8.30 pm and got a refund of Rs 40/- . Ref Id for the same is [protected].



                                7. On 29th August 09 there was deductions once again on my account due to activation of News Pack once again without my knowledge or consent. I spoke to Mr. Mumtaz and Mr. Naren regarding this at around 9.45 am. They registered me once again for DO NOT DISTURB SERVICE although I had previously registered for it. I spoke to Mr. Sameer who is a Floor Incharge at your Customer Service and he refunded back the amount debited. The ref id for this is[protected]. This refunded brought my account balance to the correct amount.

                                8. But unfortunately again on the morning of 06th Sept 09 I found money deducted from account for subscribing to Pre Listen options once again without my knowledge and consent. I spoke to Mr. Shahbaz regarding this. The complaint id for this is[protected]. Again in the afternoon at around 2.00 pm there were further deductions and that is when I decided to visit your Gurgaon Sahara Mall Customer Service to sort this inspite of being very busy. I visited your Office at Sahara Mall and by then I found out there had been further continuous deductions on my acct when I checked my balance bringing my acct balance to Rs 9.79. In fact my balance got deducted while I was in your office in front of your personnel and I showed it to them. They could not give me any satisfactory solution to why this was happening automatically. I met Mr. Mohnish there and he refunded back Rs 100/- on my account saying that Airtel Live is getting activated in my acct. he also confirmed that he is deactivating the Services which were active and also showed me message regarding
                                that. There were no further deductions on 06th Aug 09 or 7th August Morning and Afternoon. I MUST POINT OUT HERE THAT THROUGHOUT THIS DURATION THE MOBILE WAS CONSTANTLY WITH ME AND SWITCHED OFF IN THE NIGHT OF 06TH AUG AND 07TH AUG. Again on 08th Aug morning I get a sms saying that Rs 15/- has been further deducted for downloading some song which I am not aware of without my knowledge and consent. I spoke to Mr Mohnish who had given me his mobile number [protected] and works at your Sahara Mall Outlet. He told me to contact Customer Service to speak regarding this. I called Customer Service at 10.10 am on 08th September 09 and spoke to Mr. Abhijit who confirmed that Airtel Live Services were still active on my acct inspite of Mr. Mohnish deactivating them on 06th Sep. And I had not subscribed for any AIRTEL ADDITIONAL SERVICES AND NEITHER DO I WISH TO SUBSCRIBE FOR THESE. Mr. Abhijit confirmed that this is happening due to technical fault at your end and agreed to refund the money that had got debited. The ref id for this is 08119275. I also spoke to Mr. Mohnish once again regarding this who insisted that this was happening due to my fault.

                                I am requesting you to kindly look into this matter and solve this once and for all because I am sick and tired of calling your Customer Service every second day regarding this and not getting any permanent solution about this. There is no point you refunding me the money and it again getting debited automatically. Hence I request you to kindly investigate my case with your Technical Department and give me a solution to this. I have been unable to contact your Technical Department inspite of trying numerous times. If you are unable to offer me a solution to this then I will be left with no other option but to cancel and discontinue my all other AIRTEL connections eg. Other mobile, landlines and Broadband.

                                I hope you will look into this matter and offer me a solution.

                                Airtel Prepaid — deduction from my account

                                Since July 2009 I have found that some amount is deducted regularly from my prepaid balance. My mobile no. is [protected]. On complaining to 121 I get the reply that some service is started on my mobile . I have never requested for any service any time. This has happened 4 times in last four months. The Airtel supervisor from cusomer service manages to refund the deducted money but the problem of deduction continued . Kindly do the needful so that the unnecessary deduction stops for ever.

Now on 07.10.2010 Rs.5/- has been deucted from my account for hello tune. I never tell for this. I am a 60 years old person I do not need any hellow tune. Kindly given hard instruction to your employee do not disturb me by offering any hello tune offer and never deduct any hello tune charges from my account.                                 AirTel — Unauthorized deduction of Money

                                Hi,

                                Wanted to repost some serious Matter regarding the Unauthorized deduction of money from my Prepaid account. The deduction which does not even get recorded in their Bill


                                This is a Problem I have been facing for the last 3 Months.

                                I had switched from postpaid to prepaid connection 3 months (October 2nd) back and had availed Rs. 399 Plan Blackberry with unlimited Internet. The switching itself was a Very Painful incident which had to be sorted out with the intervention of the Nodal Officer, however this issue is not pertaining to it.

                                Few Days after this transition was done from Postpaid to Prepaid, mysteriously 30ps every half hour, Started getting deducted from my account. I called the Call center and as usual they were useless, then I mailed the Nodal officer, they replied stating I had used airtel live, I replied stating that I never subscribed for airtel live and moreover I pay Rs. 399 every month for BB internet.

                                They acknowledged their mistake and credited back some Rs. 23 (I am not sure if I received that also), and promised that I will not be charged henceforth and also asked me to deactivate by sending SMS to 121. I did that and also got a reply that it’s been successfully deactivated.

                                However the problem persisted and I started losing cash again (Post deactivating) and this time even faster (till today close to Rs. 500), I mailed the Nodal officer and have not got any reply for the last 2 weeks. However I am continuing to lose cash even now, and it has already put me in a lot of inconvenience.

                                Finally i had mailed the Applet officer and i got a reply that nothing is getting deducted and also they said that nothing is there in the Bill, That made me even more suspicious, So i asked them to send me the bill and then came a reply that i need to pat Rs. 50 for every month's Bill. i got furious, Why should i pay money to Airtel to point out their mistake, Finally after a lot of fighting they agreed to credit Rs.150 to get the 3 months Bill.

                                I got the Bill and then made my own analysis and Guess what i found, Airtel has deducted Rs. 568 till Dec 31st.

                                I mailed this workings to the Applet officer and they have NOT BOTHERED TO GET BACK TO ME.

                                I am left without any option but to take the legal recourse!!

                                Could you Help.

                                I never download anything from the stupid airtel website or use any sms services, then why am i charged rs20 and rs15 today and last month? I just get messages about weekly sub, tadkalive and java game download and the balance is gone. I don't even visit the airtel website.This is unbearable now, either you people correct this, that is stop deducting money unnecessarily or else i'll see to it that none my friends or relatives uses airtel ever again.                                 Airtel did not ask to give me World Cup updates and start deducting money from my account and very bad customer service, because they call 25 times a day to their advertisements, but they take money to listen to their customer's problems.                                 Airtel has a tendency to deduct the money without asking consumer whether he asked for service or not. I am KS Shukla mobile No. [protected] Recharged my account with Rs. 444/- , by seeing the money in my account this airtel started its business and deducted RS. 15 for blog amitabh as it has done earlier also. On 11 May 11, airtel deducted Rs. 15/- towards Amitabh blog whereas I did not opt for the same. When I took this matter with airtel, incompetent people sitting in call centres raised their hands. They told me that I should talk to nodal officer and money will be charged towards this. For Rs. 15/-, at least Rs. 10/- will be charges while talking to him. What a rationale ?

                                Airtel — UNAUTHORIZED DEDUCTION OF MONEY BY AIRTEL

                                I have been repeatedly charged rs30/Month for "hello tunes" service and "airtel friendz

                                chat" for the past one month(about 3 times in my mobile number [protected] and many times in

                                my father's mobile number [protected]).The service gets automatically activated without our

                                consent.Some of the ways include :

                                1)an automated call from airtel advertising about hello tunes.Even if we cut the call the

                                service gets activated and rs30 is charged.
                                2)an sms from airtel informing us of airtel friendz chat activation and that we have been

                                charged for the service.

                                This is an outrageous behaviour and I demand that my money be refunded and further

                                compensation paid for the frustation and agitation caused by this.

                                Airtel activated 2 services on my mobile, without my concern, when I ask them they said that it was activated from automated tele call . I haven't activated any service and they are deducting money from my balance and charging me for service which I have not activated and used.

                                  I have asked to charge my cell no. [protected] by paying Rs. 225/- under the scheme Rs. 225/- which balance for Rs. 204/- and the same got charged with Rs. 1 only vide Transation id no.[protected].

                                  The transation i have made from SP, Hoshangabad road, bhopal ([protected] shop keeper no.) on[protected]:41 hrs.

                                  I have requested the shopkeeper to talk to the customer care unit and i have received reply that i have been charged with Rs. 204 (which is wrong).

                                  Sir, kindly help me in the above matter and my cell can be charged with balance for Rs. 203 to my subject cell no. immediately for which i have paid the amount.

                                    I am Sajith kumar,I had purchased an airtel new SIM card for premium 1500 rs From Thrissur and the EMI number is:[protected] with Mobile number:[protected], I tried to activate the number but was getting error message the mobile number is not a valid prepaid number , after two days some one activated the number in Postpaid, How come is this possible. The grace period of the Prepaid sim is not yet over and somebody activated that number in postpaid, this is cheating, i called to the [protected] guy, and he is asking me 5000 rupees, how come this is possible the prepaid SIM is with me and it is activated in pospaid, I am hoping this problem get solved and to get the number any how

                                      There is a financial fraud group called gclub.in. Whenever you browse in your mobile, or play games you may see a advertisement scroll text saying for Rs.99 games gclub. Dont even try to click it ! If you click, you will be subscribed automatically with X amount and they will send you an sms saying Rs.99 deducted for downloading the games. Thats not at all. Without doing anything, you will again receive sms saying you have downloaded some stupid games and again charged Rs.99.

                                      Airtel seems to be supporting this Fraud. I expect 30-40 crore rupees of money is being looted by Airtel and Gclub.

                                      I am planning to sue them. Be aware of this guys. This is in the name of TadkaLive Service.

                                      My name is Aravind, I am using a postpaid connection with Airtel TN-Chennai region, One or twice in a month i m getting a message from TadkaLive. I dont know how is he or why is he sending message to me. I have never downloaded any games or played any games.

                                      I called Airtel customer care for the details after receiving the message. He mentioned I have not activated any service with the name TadkaLive, So i will not be charged.

                                      This is ridiculous! I was shocked on seeing my postpaid bill. That they have charged me 40 rp (+ 10% tax + 3% on the tax amount). And this has happened for 2-3 months continually. Airtel along with TadkaLive is Making Fraud. They are looting my money, without any usage. I m definitely would sue them, Make them pay for it in court.
