Hello All,

"Airtel Internet Service Providers are very bad service Providers"

Airtel broadband services is very bad service providers. Airtel's management People, sales executives and technical support don't know commitments. Airtel sales executives gives us commitments to provide broadband connection and after receiving the order they even don't pick your call. People we are suffering this problem every time. I suggest you to all people please don't go for Airtel.

Airtel Broadband Connection — ABUSIVE LANGUAGE USED BY AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE

I am sagar. Recently there was a problem with my bills regarding airtel broadband connection. I have been using this since 2 years and never had problem at all. Till recently Airtel was the best service provider(the sole reason for me to go for airtel broadband connection). But nowadays, the people who call up abuse you if you delay the payments. When you have a small problem they dont know how to solve it, but 20 people call up to ask about your payment. Not only you have to give them explanation, pay bill, with late payement charges, no internet till you clear bills you also have to get abused by atleast 3 to 4 people everyday till you pay the bill.. I mean wat the hell. V pay them and we are their customers, they act as though they are doing a favour by giving us the service. They have forgotton that beacuse o[censored]s only they are getting their salary. I cant take such sh*^ after me paying them.

Airtel Broadband — Bad Services

Dear Concern,

I have applied for Airtel Broadband Connection in the month of June. Since then I have got number of issues in it. I have called customer care around 50-60 odd times and they are not able to solve my queries. Their customer care guys hang up the phone, they don't respond, their systems are down every time but i suffered a lot every time. Issue started on 7 june 2009 when the installation guy who came to install the internet was not able to do his task as electricity was not there but he forced me to confirmed me over phone received from verification deptt that my internet is working and did it and he used my landline to call to airtel guys..My net activated on 8th of June 2009 at 9 PM but that also not properly. They didnt install some softwares namely netexpert...and told me that he will come again to install that software but he never turned up again..I had to call customercare several times but they didn't resolved my issue atlast I need to get it installed myself from the help of my friend..then a new issue started I was not able to login to my airtel account where all account details exist regarding personal info, bill details, unbilled amount etc. It takes a 2 weeks to resolved...But in this period i need to call customer care very night...Other query is this my mobile number is showing is update in airtel record but its not reflecting in my records..its not yet resolved...I have complaint registered against this issue but it has not been resolved...Customer care guys confirmed that my compliant had been registered but when i call up again after 2 days they dont have any issue registered...another issue i am able to see my unbilled call details after log in to my airtel account but its not reflecting my broadband unbilled usage details...I am in a dilemma have I exceeded my 3 GB free data as per my plan (Rs. 599 monthly) I want to know my usage and i have asked the same to customer care but they didnt told me about my usage till now, my billing cycle is about to come..Atlast I have registered one complaint to customer care that I am not gonna pay a single amount if my usage details will be told to me...I want to register compliant against Airtel for misguiding customers and not able to resolve customers issues...A total wastage of time for a person who comes after job and needs to call customer care...Then customer care do not resolve the query...I have a complaint against customer care guys mainly Aditya (empl code 12794) and Shaliendra Sigh both working in night shifts...They dont know how to talk..they use abusive language and hang up the phone when customer is irated they talk very rudely.. I ant a strict action against them and would ask Airtel team to recruit persons who cud really very soft spoken and can solve issues...Thanks a lot .. I would appreciate if my query gets resolved and I would be informed about it...

AirTel — bad internet services

am using MO on my laptop as well as using it on phone but am getting a bad server on my laptop when connected though am able to use it on my phone with good connectivity.

    Dear Sir,

    We have received you bill after 2 months (bill for September & October) you have charged the late fee payment for September bill. we have paid the full amount including late fee payment. We request to credit the late fee amount Rs.75 in my next bill and send the bill in time so I can pay the bill before due date .

    Please note your man has visited at my residence to recover the above bill amount on dt. 10.10.2010. The said bill due date was dt.15/11/2010, how can you send your man to my residence to recover the bill amount? If this happen next time I will disconnect your services.

    Airtel telephone — without our consent change the plan and billed me arbitrary

    I am the customer of Airtels telephone and using broadband service in fixed monthly plan of Rs.699/- but in the month of July 2011 without taken my consent they changed my plan and billed me. It is more excessive then every month bill. I have also complain before customer care they registered my complaint but in arbitrary manner they have not give me any waiver in current bill.They have assured me from the next bill you will continue from your original plan of Rs.699/-pm. this conduct is against the interest of a consumer. please do needful and refund me excess bill of Rs. 165/-.       Sir,Jayakar .working in aurobindo pharma,in hyderabad.recently airtel agent came to our company told about corporate postpaid plan.i told to him i will take 2 conections,1 is new connection and other is existing prepaid number i.e migration prepaid number to pospaid number.agent told ok.taken all proofs and 100rs for prepaid number.verification over.new connetion activated but existing number not activated.this two connetions have taken 1month 10 days before.iam calling costumer care no response,and also airtel agent no response.please solve my problem.

        I'm sandeep Anand from Amritsar(Punjab). I'm using Airtel Digital Tv connection and my customer id is [protected]. I'm using dish for about 1 n half yrs. My problem is that my account packages are automatically changed. Everytime the packages are changed by default. When i ask customer care about this problem, they said that your package has been changed but nothing had changed in reality. They said that i have changed my package and they don't solve my problem. I'm very annoyed from this and want a strict action against them. Please help me.

          I'm an existing Airtel DTH customer with a requirement for a multi-room connection. I went through the online information on a multi-room connection and contacted Airtel on 12150 on Friday November 5, 2010. I was put through to a new Customer Service Representative (CSR) who was learning her job, being assisted on the job by an experienced representative.

          Having been taken through the payment via IVR option, I paid Rs.1199 via credit card via IVR, for a multi-room connection which was confirmed by the CSR when the call went back to her after the IVR payment. The connection was promised within 24-48 hours. However, when I contacted the callcentre on Monday November 8, I was told that there was no such payment made and I was asked for a Transaction ID, which wasn't given to me by the CSR. After multiple calls and much frustration at the following :

          1. Poor language skills of the CSRs.

          2. Good willingness to help but inability to help because of lack of appropriate knowledge (for e.g.none of the CSRs knew how to offer a multi-room connection on my existing account - they kept transfering me to the Sales department who did'nt have my account details and hence created a new account with the same details)

          I landed up once again making a payment of Rs.1199 via IVR using my credit card (this time round I was given a transaction ID[protected]. This was at 6:30pm on Tuesday November 9, 2010 for the same product for which I was earlier informed that the prior payment didn't go through.

          So now I've paid twice for the same product - I still keep calling up Airtel call centre on 12150 (it's outsourced to First Source) and I keep talking to very willing CSRs but none of who are able to help with refunding the amount that I've paid twice and guess what - I still don't have my multi-room connection. I do hope someone reads emails on this ID because it's necessary for any service provider to listen to customer complaints and act on them immediately.

          Thanks for your response. I was contacted by two different Customer Service Representatives this morning, both of who listened to my complaint and responded that they will have someone else call me back but no one has called back yet. I still don't have my multi-room connection set up at home. This is quite unacceptable.

          I was contacted by a gentleman from Airtel by name of Anurag who spoke to me at length, seemed to understand my issue and has promised a revert within 24 hours. I will not hold my breath up until then, but I am keen to see where this issue is headed and how best Airtel will resolve my problem.

          I was contacted today by a gentleman called Naveen from Airtel ([protected]@airtel.in) who called saying he would resolve my issue. I now have the cable connected at home for a multi-room connection, but the set top box will in all likelihood come in only tomorrow. I still do not have an idea when my double payment will get refunded.

          Don't know if anyone from Airtel reads this because apart from the one (automated?) response to my first posting, I don't have a clue if anyone from Airtel reads this, but I will continue to post.

          Airtel DTH — Multiroom connection fraud

          Never ever buy Airtel DTH. These people may bo quick in giving connection BUT AFTER SALES SERVICE IS PATHETIC...They have cheats everywhere who just try to milk money and then make you run piller to post.

          I am a sufferer of AIRTEL who has pledged not to go Airtel ever in my life.

            I have purchased a new mobile of BlackBerry 8520 and i have talked so many times to airtel customer care service but every time i have asked for blackberry service activation they told me to talk to airtel blackberry customer service centre but it said this facility not available on my no. this i have told them so many times but the same explanation i got. I am not able to access my blackberry services on airtel. I can say that blackberry services by airtel is very poor.

            Airtel - Blackberry — Activation of Service

            I use a Prepaid of Airtel with Black Better 299 plan (BB1). On the 28th July my service got deactivated without prior notice or any intimation by Mail or SMS of the due date where in my account did not have sufficient balance.

            The same day after recharge, when I called Airtel they said I have to remember my due date as they do not have a system of reminding. Pathetic, can't they build a reminder software. Does any one remember such due dates of the 100 gadgets we use.

            However they asked me to undergo the entire process of activation from zero, which I unwilling went thru and after that on receiving a registration acceptance message me amoount of Rs. 299 was also deducted, but my service NEVER GOT ACTIVATED.

            Its over 10 days now but they are just saying it will take 48 hours, or 4 days or more 2 days. THey are clueless. These ineffecient people say that there is a technical problem on Black Berry side and thats the reason I am facing the problem. They would have escelated my request to BB for more then 5 times but their godfather BB is worst then them in supports. No output so far nor any update nor any commitments.

            I would have spoken to 5-7 people and all what I hear is false promises but not results.


            Pl. suggest what should I do. Wait for these in efficient Airtel and Black Berry Technical Support team to wake up from their sleep some day and solve my problem or some solutions otherwise is possible.

            Very upset with the law and big commitments and poor support of these MNCs.

            I agree with you Vishal, these guys do not take support seriously. I guess you can go to consumer court and file a case against these insupportive MNCs.

                I just want to caution the new buyers of Airtel Broadband services.
                I was an unfortunate user of Airtel Broadband connection. The data download speed never reached the allotted speed as per the service plan (Rs 799-unlimited and 512kbs speed). The connectivity is worse than the 256kbs data card performance.The marketing person never told about the speed reduction if the data download exceeded 10gb. Though its advertised that unlimited download for Rs 799/- a draconian clause for speed reduction is inserted in the agreement, Using this notorious clause, airtel customer services right royally screw the happiness of customers. No intimation and nothing. Internet will just crawl.
                The customer care people are well trained to be rude and will quickly get onto their high horses.
                Its hightime Airtel changed its Brandband services name to Hostile Brandband services.
                New buyers, please beware.

                  This is true. This happens to me many times with differenct VAS without we sending SMS or confirmation. Airtel is doing this fraud knowingly. When you call the Customer care - they are totally irresponsible and horrible. Goverment or Telecom authorities should do something on this. There are so many lakhs o[censored]neducated people using the cell phones. They don't even know that these kind of money is deducted. Is there any way to complain TRAI or some other legal agencies. No point in contacting Airtel.
                  @Rajvelu : I do agree with you dear but government is also corrupt (2G spectrum), to whom we should say our matters nobody cares Aam Janta.

                  Complain:
                  This also happened to me two time at first 30 Rs. and Second time 10 Rs. it is when my SIM is in my pocket and the Airtel people not returning amount balance in my mobile. Two days before one of my friend also told me of deducting 1 Rs. per day from his balance. We have not done any sms to activate any service even not received call in this regard, each time we complaint they say we(consumer) have activated the service.
                  It is really shameful to the company who is getting large customer day by day and I also listened that many subscribers moved to Airtel in Haryana with number portability service.
                  But these deducting of balance without any permission is not the right way to make money. Airtel should increase its service and listen to each customer carefully.

                  I have mailed above matter to above mentioned email id of airtel, let's see the company response.

                    My Airtel Digital TV customer ID is [protected]. I had asked for reinstallation of my dish antenna & set top box on 07.11.10 as I have shifted to Mumbai. As instructed by the call center representative, I recharged my account (with Rs.1000) to have sufficient balance in my account to facilitate reinstallation related charges to be deducted once reinstallation happens.

                    After multiple number of false promises by the call center people regarding slot booking (on 08.11.10 & 09.11.10), I had lodged a written complaint to their customer care mail ID '[protected]@airtel.in', describing the harassments I was undergoing. During the process of telephonic conversations with the call center on 8th & 9th Nov, I used to receive sms's regarding the service request no's e.g. 4385932 - Engineer Related, 4389406 - Wrong Resolution; & surprisingly immediately sms's that the issue has been resolved, where as the issue was not addressed at all. Moreover, as per the sms we were to call [protected] if our issue is unresolved, but the number was switched off on continuous basis.

                    The installation happened on 9th Nov @ 3.30 PM. Post this the signal was active for approximately half an hour & then surprisingly the set top box stopped receiving signal & a message featured on our TV screen that I need to recharge the account (error code 6). But I had Rs. 1008 in my Airtel Digital TV account. The irony is I received sms stating that I have Rs. 1008.39 as account balance, whereas also received recorded voice call from Airtel Digital TV ([protected]) that my account balance is negative. Unable to understand how this can happen.

                    The quality of the call center representatives is truly the worst I have come across; their speech quality, command over the language, knowledge of their function is extremely poor & most of the time their communication is not understandable. Had called the call center again & again (on 9th & 10th Nov), but as usual there was no resolution from the call center's end. As of now, almost one day has passed after the reinstallation took place, but the set top box is not receiving any signal. We are really pained & horrified by the quality of service received.

                    Kindly help me in getting proper sevice from Airtel Digital TV & let me know what further action can be initiated against Airtel Digital TV.

                      My name is Sukumar G and address is 10, Thiruvalluvar Street, V.O.C. Nagar, Pammal, Chennai - 6000075.

                      I have paid Rs. 3850 for one year South Mega Pack on 5th Mar 2010 [Please refer the attachment "Bill.jpg'].

                      But as the dealer installed a faulty settop box, which belongs to some other customer [Customer Id [protected]], I could not able to view the channels I paid for.
                      Please refer my previous complaint in "http://www.consumercomplaints.in/complaints/airtel-dth-c414108.html"

                      After making hundreds of calls to Airtel DTH Support team, Marketing Manager & Dealer and FOUR MONTHS follow up, new settop box is installed on 27th Jul 2010 and new Customer Id is provided as [protected] [Please refer the attachment "CustRelationForm_TV1.jpg"].

                      I was informed by the Airtel support team that I will get one year subscription as I could not able to view any channels in my previous faulty settop box [Pls. refer the attachment 'Faulty_SetTopBox.jpg'].

                      But Now, within 3 months, My subscription got expired on 29th Oct 2010 and I am receiving messages from Airtel DTH that I should recharge to continue Airtel DTH service.

                      Everytime when I contact Airtel DTH team, they will send a computer generated reply and that will say as "they are looking in to this issue". But the issue will remain forever unattended.

                      I have spend huge money to buy a good TV. But I could not enjoy this TV many months due to this issue.


                      Sad part is there is no one in Airtel DTH team, Briliant enough to solve even these kind of straightforward issues.


                      I am very much FRUSTRATED by the quality of Airtel DTH service.

                      This is a good example to know the work culture of Airtel Customer Service Team. They never have any TARGET DATE of completion for ANY ISSUES. They already took 7 MONTHS and still asking for more time to solve such kind of EXPLICIT ISSUE.

                        Airtel digital TV service is two poor they don't even respect the customer, I told them to give connection but after so many complements(complement number are 4369704,4366324) they given after two days and check the Airtel site they written wrong address and wrong name, after calling the customer care they said that its not possible to change the name.
                        Customer care executive Mrs. Pooja, she wont understand english.
                        Request to change the name as BHAVANI Nagaraj, instead of BAVHVANI, and date of birth as[protected].

                        It is bring to your kind notice that I have received a letter from Airtel a bill (Billing details with usage charge) on 09th Dec 2011it was found that the customer name is wrong. However I have Informed to the same was 121 but the replay was was incorrect.

                        However I have submitted all the document as per TRAI.

                        There is no physical verification has been carried out by Airtel officers as on today.

                        I am trying to give a raising complaint regarding my difficulty, the customer care officer refused to take complaint.

                        I have not satisfied with airtel service.

                        I am proceeding as per law.

                          Hi I am using a Airtel prepaid connection since last 7 years, last few days when I recharge Rs - 80/- Airtel automatically deduct my balance regularly Rs - 5/-, and once Rs - 50/- for this reason I call customer care, than I know I am downloading a video from hangama.com, which are totally false. This company last 3 times deduct my balance. All time I complain, than company say "this is last time" but I face same problem frequently.
                          I think This Company chitted with me.
                          This is a natural tendency of Airtel. They are the worst money suckers in the telecom networks. Port to Vodafone. Vodafone is costly but service is excellent.

                            Never trust any promotional call from Airtel....This happened to me very recently.
                            My Name is Manoj and My Customer id is [protected]. One day I got a call from mumbai saying that I can upgrade my existing STB with the HD STB by paying 2250 Rs. and that guy said I will be getting a recharge of worth Rs. 2000/- with this offer, He tried to convience me like any thing, He said ultimatly I am paying only Rs. 250/- for upgrading the normal STB to HD STB.
                            I could not belive his words and then I called up the Karnataka sales guys, I fethed the number from airteldth.net.
                            The tremendus thing is they have mentioned the karnataka's number but they are located at Hyderabad.
                            I got a chance to speak to one of the executve, Her name was Soni and she conveyed me the same offer.
                            I made the payment online and got the reacharge of Rs. 2000/- also as per their promise, The very Next day they deducted the same amount from my account and I was shocked. I called up customer care and they said the upgrade charges are Rs 2250/- not 250/- and I will not be getting any rechange free with this offer.
                            I am still struglling with this issue and escalated to Nodal officers but they do not reply.
                            I have spoken arround 8-10 diffrent people regarding the same complaint and they just deligate the responsibility to each other and If you try to call them, they wont even pick up the phone.

                            If anybody knows the other escalation matrix plz let me know.

                            Even they got ready to return my setup box and they confirmed that they will resell my HD setup box and then they will refund the money.

                            I am an existing Airtel digital TV customer. My customer id is : [protected].

                            My complain is, for last two weeks on my TV screen, a message is flashing as your account balance is negative….. after every 5-10 minutes around.
                            This is happening even after the recharge before 2 weeks. It is so frustrating that, it just don’t allow to watch any program of your choice and forces you to close TV set..

                            In this regard, I complained 4 times to customer care on toll free no. But problem still persists. There could be following reason of that:-

                             Your customer care people are technically so incompetent that they just can’t do it.
                             Your technology has gone out of your control completely & you are unable to solve this anyway.
                             Deliberately you don’t want to solve & want to punish your customer for being 1 day delay in recharging as you might be looking your net loss of around 5 rs or 7 rs which has made you mentally unfit to look in to the problem.
                             Every time they first give excuse that their network is failed now so they are unable to check the status. You call after 1 hour when network resumes. That indicates that they don’t have time to listen such stupid things from customer & wants to close the call ASAP.

                            Whatever is the reason. Now I want either to resolve this issue or admit that AIRTEL dth customer care is fully incompetent to resolve this issue and in that case return my last 300 recharge amount plus 2000 Rs of your equipment cost.

                              In 2007,I took Airtel Mobile no. [protected] (lifetime-prepaid plan) from the Moga centre of the co.In Nov.2009 I went abroad and on my coming back to India in Sep'2010, I found my number was deactivated.I approached the co's centre for its activation.The no was activated on 23.09.10 after submission of my photograph and ID Proof.On 14.10.10, the no. was deactivated again.The co. left a message on my mobile to submit Photograph and ID Proof to their centre.On 15.10.10,I submitted the same to their centre,1,Gill's Park, G.T.Road,Moga and they gave me a chit bearing Form no.[protected].On 20.10.10,on my supplying them information thru E.Mail the number was activated. Suddenly on 01.11.10,it was deactivated once again due to non supply of documents.Further co. wants me to take the same no. under postpaid plan after payment of its activation fee of Rs,300/-.When it was brought to their notice about sequence of mails exchanged with them and three times submission of documents to them, they on 2.11.10,advised me to wait for five days.I reminded them about it on 09.11.10 but they have neither activated my no. nor given me any reply to date.
                              I am very much disturbed on this account.I incur not only loss of money but also on account of various information which I use to get from my Banks and other business areas.
                              It is requested to help me out in this matter and compensate me along with the activation of this no.

                              i have recharged with 495 plan that given me a validity of 2010.also i have recharged with more than 150 amount within 6 months period.
                              however my connection been disconnected without any message why?
                              now what i have to do being with the same number.
                              But i don't want to being with any mid term recharge condition.

                              I had made request for disconnection of my telephone number [protected] on 12th June 2009 but still my connection has not been disconnected. I have been told that I had confirmed to your executive to continue the connection but I had never told such thing. A

                              I am surprised that a company like bharti is adopting such malpractices to charge unnecessary charges from customer. .

                              I was using a Airtel Postpaid number from last 3-4 years[protected]. . I switched my number from postpaid to prepaid last month[protected] with proper documentation (i.e. photo id card , post to pre form , photograph) . Now the problem is that on 19th april deactivate outgoing calls and after that 20th april incoming calls also , now it shows inactive sim . I was not aware of that , no intimation from company side like any call or any msg . When i made a call to customer care they said we didn't know the reason .

                                I have lodged at customer care service on 6th November and the complaint no is 4371055 . The complaint regarding no signal from dish. From day one customer care person says that engineer will come tomorrow but no one has turned up. If you email to customer service and you will get computer generated reply. Customer service is just like a wall. They worst like cable walla.

                                Airtel — Non responce to Customer Complaint

                                Hi,

                                I had recently taken an Airtel connection at my home and had requested for wiring for a parallel connection. The intial request was made on 11th Feb and the complaint no. 3707454. Although I had been calling Airtel again and again, no one turned up. When I called up Airtel on 29th Feb, I was informed that my request is closed even without attending to it. I again launched another complaint on the same day (No. 4246968) and I was promised that this will be attended within noon on 1st March. Still no one turned up and I again made a call and was informed that some one will be positively coming by 5.30 pm. I waited till 5.45 pm and again enquired with Airtel and the lady who took the phone that a technician will attend to this issue by noon on 2nd March, even though it is a Sunday. Again, nothing happened. When I called Airtel on 2nd March, I was told that no one will work on Sundays!!!
                                I was really surprised to note that a company like Airtel is so irresponsive to customer complaints! Although I had this connection only for just 1 1/2 months, I am seriously thinking of discontinuing this connection and go to some other service provider.
                                In case you are planning to take an Airtel connection, my adivse to you is to think twice before you commit yourself.

                                I totally agree with this. In Airtel I guess Customer Care has been trained to give no response or feedback to customer complaints.

                                I have no signal problem since 2 last months and I have lodged more than 7 complaints regarding this, every time customer care executive provides me only new complaint no. and says your problem will be solved in 24-48 hours time positively but no one contacted me till now.

                                I have purchased Dish TV in August 08, i had some queries a few days ago for which i tried to contact the Customer Care number provided by them[protected]MTNL/BSNL)).

                                This number does not get connected. I then tried the Paid number for all (East/ West/ North/ South) Zones[protected], Please prefix: 011 for North, 022 for West, 033 for East, 044 for South), but i got the Same Result.

                                I have paid Rs 4000/- to take dish TV connection..much more than what is available these days in the market.(for Rs500/- Dish equipment and six months free subscription is available). i took dish tv for the excellent services i thought u provide. but from my last one year's experience i am really shocked as to how can u fool the customers. ispite of me paying such huge amount, there were disruptions in my services for almost 20 days even during the festive season of onam. mr sunil of dish tv at chennai is well aware of this. my phone bill itself trying 2 call the dish tv authorities would run into many hundreds if not thousands. even now i am facing lots of trouble. am not able 2 view the channels which i am entitled to.this is criminal on the part of dish tv. the services hav been terminated i dont know why??? at one place u claim 2 b the india's first satellite service and u harass ur customers like this. mr joseph and mr sunil as individuals have been very cooperative, but ur system seems 2 b... i dont know what 2 say but.. hope u do some thing..i have even paid extra 2 recharge..now 2day so that i can view..the channels i hope someone sensible in dish tv will listen 2 me and do the needful.. best regards

                                Please think twice before you go in for Airtel DIgitalTV connection. Their service is pathetic to say the least. You just get apologies from the other end of their phone line but no service. Airtel crudely translated in Hindi is "hawa(Air) mein batein karna(tel)" How very appropriate !

                                No one giving the reponse for the complaint which i have given. If trying for Coustomer Care no one lifts simply disconnects the calls. I request you not to take any digital connection from Airtel DTH

                                DishTV — no reply

                                I have recently shifted to Coonoor and I have been sending sms & trying to contact dishtv to ask them to install my dish.Absolutely no response.

                                Who is the nearest technician?How do I contact them?When will some one respond &install my dish tv connection?

                                  We took the Airtel DTH connection in Gurgaon. After using it for 2-3 months we got transfered to Panchkula. At the time of transfer AIRTEL customer care associate told us that submit 300/- and the person will come to new address and reinstall the connection. No one told that the assoicate will come and deinstall from gurgaon and automatically reinstall to new location.

                                  When we shift to panchkula we talk to them and asked them to send their engineer for reinstallation. They said that by today evening the engineer will come and reinstall it. We waited for whole day person will not come. We called in the evening and they said that because of some mistake today it will not be possible but next day the person will definitely come and they give request number[protected] after 5 mins we got a message that this request got resolved.

                                  We than also waited till next day and than same whole day wasted but no one came. Than in the evening at 5pm we called them and they told that the engineer went there but no one is there when we asked them at what address engineer go then they said at Gurgaon. We are shocked to hear that then we asked that we have changed the address than why that person went to old address than the associate told that we are registering your request again and by next day the engineer will again come.

                                  But the same repeated after 5 min we got a message that the request number[protected] got resolved. and the same process we have to do for one more day with new request number[protected]. Same with this number and no one resolved our problem.

                                  We are still facing this issue. Hope to seek a help from this forum.

                                    I recently booked a Airtel DTH connection.

                                    Before taking this connection, I had spoken to the customer service to confirm if God TV is a part of Airtel’s package. The exec confirmed to me that it’s there.

                                    Based on this confirmation, I booked a 12 month Mega package, with multiple connections.

                                    To my shock and surprise, when the connection was activated on 5th Nov, God TV channel was not there. I immediately called the customer service and they said that Airtel does not offer God TV now. I was really disappointed and placed a request for disconnection with complete refund immediately, as I wanted God TV and took Airtel only because you provide this channel.

                                    I was told that some one would call me regarding my complaint. I got a call today from Airtel telling me that God TV cannot be provided. Moreover, if I cancel the connection, I will not get any refund.

                                    I am shocked at the way Airtel is behaving. This is straight forward case of cheating and fraud, where wrong information was given to sell a connection.

                                    What is even more surprising is that they still provide GOD TV on Airtel IPTV, but not on DTH.

                                    I need strict action to be taken against Airtel.They should either provide GOD TV or refund my money fully.

                                    I am withdrawing my membership from Airtel for lack of having God TV and giving wrong information and am dissuading all my friends and relatives from taking this stupid airtel service which LIES to the consumer and eliminates fantastic channel like God TV from its lies.ITS A SHAME...I would even go further to warn you that that your subscription rates will begin to decrease rapidly in the next year cause many are shifting over to relaince BiG Tv cause they are offering God TV and I am certainly one of them.

                                      I regret to inform you that the negligent behaviour of your franchisee (I do not know where is his office) and no action from your relationship centre, Malakpet, Hyderabad.

                                      It is to inform you that in the 1st week of October, 2010 one Mr. Nataraj, Manager (as informed by him) approached us for converting our prepaid connection into post paid connection and we have filled the application form and submitted the relevant document along with the prescribed charges of Rs.500/-. He informed me that the Sim will be issud within two days and the same will be activated within seven days.

                                      Accordingly he has issued a sim card vide no.[protected]
                                      Type 64K PAPPC NORMAL HLR-1 within the said two days and from then onwards we are pursuing him but no proper reply from him. At first he has given his mobile number as [protected] and I am contacting on that number upto the end of the October, 2010. As and when I am contacting, he informed me that about the server problem, technical problem in transfering the mobile number from prepaid to post paid and one and another. After then, he has not lifted the mobile when I am trying to contact, but on one day I tried from another number but to my surprise the lifter of the mobile told me that the mobile not belongs to Mr. Nataraj and he do not know about Mr. Nataraj. I told him that I am going to give a police complaint against that number if Mr. Nataraj not contact me.

                                      In the afternoon Mr. Nataraj contacted me over mobile vide no. [protected] and told that this is his new number and asked me to contact on this number and the activation of my mobile number will be completed within 48 hours since there is a technical problem. Lastly I contacted him on 8th November, 2010 and at that time he told hurrily that he is out of station and after reaching Hyderbad the number will be activated definitely.

                                      Under the circumstances, I hereby request you to kindly take necessary action and direct the concerned authorities of AIRTEL to activate my mobile number [protected] Airtel Freedom 249 post paid connection immediately.
                                      Sir, I have taken a postpaid connection from airtel on 10th of this month. but the same is not activated till today i.e. 15.07.08, they say the server problem. I was informed that the connection will be activated within one day but now i have been informed that there is server problem and cannot be activated. I claimed the money back and then they promised to activate the same by 15th 12.00 o clock but now it is 5.00 o clock and they are telling that tomorrow morning at 9.00 o clock it will be activated. now suppose it is not activated by that time what to do? Please advise.

                                        Respected si, my number is [protected].i have purchased the sim card in naik electronics in bhatli chowk and submitted documents twice.once in shop and in bargarh airtel office.But after it also my calls are barred and i cannot able to call and receive any number.I have activated 3 days internet pack and during that day it get locked. I have call to customer care and visited thrice to bargarh office but they saying me that wait.But their is a duration of waiting,15 days are gone with the day of reporting.
                                        I is a sincire request to activate my number.
