Unnecessary Harassment and Threatening by Airtel

AIRTEL- COMPANY OF THUGS, LIARS and CHEATERS.

WARNING: READERS are hereby requested to stay on HIGH ALERT, a money sucking, threats-giving company AIRTEL has been spotted in the vicinity of the city.

Report: We bought the Airtel broadband(Minus the Landline Phone) on trial basis for a month in May and we were promised to get a discount of 3 months on the annual package without any conditions.

After May-end, we decided (Unfortunately) to go for the annual plan, RAMJI MISHRA (Sales-Airtel) told us that we would get 3 month discount only on New connection and not on upgrading current one.
He said so to achieve his sales target.

We went for the new connection(Minus the landline phone) and I received a call from RAMJI MISHRA "confirming" that the old connection was terminated.
I didnt know what was in store for us.

I kept getting calls from June regarding bills of Old connection, I kept explaining them the scenario and I also informed RAMJI for which he said he was looking into it.

I got bill to pay Service Tax which was hidden in the Main Bill and RAMJI didnt disclose this when we paid for the annual connection contract.

They "terminated" my connection for a week for non-payment of their "hidden" taxes !!
I was forced to pay for it.

I repeatedly got calls from june till december with call center people messing up with my head.
I had to explain to every new call center guy about the scenario and asked them to terminate my connection but still no luck.

Airtel sent people to my house at night at 9.30 pm !!
I really wouldnot appreciate such "so called" professionals banging my door , asking for money which was never theirs.
My Family is being threatened everyday for no fault of mine.
Noone would never tolerate any company troubling me or my family for unnecessary reasons !!

We wrote to Airtel and instead, we got a NOTICE from a Delhi Lawyer on behalf of Airtel stating that they would blacklist me from getting connection in every other company.

I am very much tired of this mess.

My Fault: I trusted this Airtel Brand.

What I Got: Threats, Disconnected service, Mental agony, etc etc


***************PLEASE DONT FALL FOR AIRTEL IN MUMBAI***************

Go for smaller service providers , you would have Peace of Mind !!

Airtel Broadband — Threatening and harassment

I was using a Airtel Broadband connection number [protected]. I was using this for past one and half year there was no delay in payment of bill. I am Engineering Graduate and due to global recession my joining in the company got delayed and I am not in condition to pay any amount due to the current financial crisis due to that I am having a pending amount of around 2000/- INR.The customer care people call me again and again and threat us that they will file a case of fraud against us.I am not in position to repay any bill until I get my joining.But there are indecent call from Airtel they some time they say we are calling for court or some Advocate office.

At 4th march 2009, i closed my all numbers and also pay total outstanding for these all line. And Got No Objection Certificate.

Till today i got bill for each and everyline. lots of time i complain in airtel HOuse, which placed on S.G.Highway Ahmedabad. but none taking care abt this complain. Lots of Tele Phone Regarding Collection Harres me whole day. Now they put my name in defaulter. Lots of time i inform that i got NOC. and also submitted for same but none take responsibility for these issue. This issue Fall Down my market image Reputation and My business.

Now I decide to file FIR for harresment, Dafamation, Rude Languages on Phone.etc.

before taking any action against that i wish to inform TRI for that issue. if Tri can not solve my issue i deffinatly taking action which concern

Airtel — Threatening Call from Airtel Broadband

Dear Sir,
Yesterday I received a call from 42770800 seeking to explain the special scheme for Airtel Braodband. I said i am not intersted in anything and not to disturb. I got the calls repeatedly for 3 more times and i told the person on the other side to hang up. I reeived a call from 42042451 at 6.15 p.m. and was threatened with dire consequences with lot of abuses about my entire family. I was told that if i am not interested i should be polite enough to tell them and not use abusive language. In fact the call came from Airtel Broadband representative seeking to sell their services and it is the responsibility of the person to hang up the phone when i told i am not interested.

Please look into this matter and provide me solution.

Airtel Broadband — Harrasment through calling agains bill which i have deposited

Hello sir,
I wish to draw your kind attention that I , Gaurav Sahni bought a airtel broadband connection for my personal use before 10 months ago means at Dec- 2009. in the no. of [protected]. I had used this connection till middle month of may and in this month i have applied for disconnect my connection. I have complained to customer care in may to disconnect that connection and customer care executive said that the connection will be disconnect within 7 days. and they gave me a Request no.[protected] and told me that it will disconnect. After i complained again to customer care centre he told me that it will disconnect within 2-3 days and your complained is in running mode and they gave me again a Request no.33223506. After 2-3 days my phone dialtone has disconnect and phone was dead and i got the bill of 2977/-rs and i paid that amount. But after 1 month i got the bill again from airtel of approx. 3200/- rs then i again complained to airtel broadband customer care office that why you have given me the bill even i have paid the full amount till my connection i have used. And from that month i am taking a recovery calls from airtel and they are harassmenting me daily i dont know why even i have paid the bill till last. I have complained to customer care centre lots of time i have all the complaint no. of airtel but they are calling till now. Sir i am very very upset for the behaviour of airtel that they people talk like a animal with abusing language. Its already a limit gone for harrasment , thats why i am asking and requesting to you to kindly do something against airtel broadband because they are harasmenting all the innocent people who has no mistakes. I think its a company policy that to harass the clients who is innocent. And also when client wants to take to disconnect the connection then why they take the time and why they give the bills even client has disconnected the phone. Sir please do something in favour of me because i dont need from them anything then why they are harrasmenting me , and do inform them sir if i got the phone from them again then i will take action to charge them for harrasment me or waisting my time.

Airtel — Unnecessary harassment and Threat

This is to inform you that I have been receiving call from [protected]/ [protected] Customer care for demand of bill payment on my number [protected]. For the record, let me make clear that I have never said that I'll not make the payment however I'll need some time to make this payment as a result of financial crisis. My past payment records can be checked and verified that all payments were made.

However the persons claiming to be customer care and calling from the numbers mentioned above have unnecessarily harassed and threatened me and behaved unprofessionally with my family. I have record of all the calls and sms send from the above mentioned numbers. I am a registered lawyer and am quite aware of the Law and the rights. I have been threatened to make payment by tomorrow, which is totally unprofessional and detrimental to the reputation of the Company and in total violation of the guidelines given by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India pertaining to recovery of money from customers.

This is to mention that I'll be making the payment by the end of this month but if I receive another call from the Customer Care relating to this, I'll file a complaint with the Consumer Forum, claiming damages including all legal costs.

    I am Mukesh Khare and I had a Post paid Connection [protected] which has now been converted to a prepaid connection . As per last statement generated the security deposit of Rs 1500/- is adjusted against the Bill period charges and the amount due os -705.63/-. I have been advised that the same will be refunded through a cheque at my postal address. I am transferred to a new location and will be available at the current address upto 04 Dec10. May I request that the procees for refund of security deposit may please be expedited and the confirmation for the same may please be provided to me.

      I am Sourabh Lakade, I activated the massage pack of 24 Rs. on my Airtel sim having No. [protected] on 20th Nov. 2010. As per the pack I got the the 500 massages on 20th Nov. But after 20th Nov. the massages are chareged 50 paise. I called to the Airtel customer care centre 5 times and given the complaint but still not got the service. So it is my request to the consumer court that to start my massage pack service. Also please take the action on the Airtel. My Reference No. of Airtel complaint is CBNRA[protected].

      I am Sumana Mitra, I activated the message pack of 51 Rs. on my Airtel sim having No. [protected] 6th Dec 2010. My previous message card validity was supposed to expire on Dec7th 2010. As per the pack i did get free messages uptill Dec 7th 2010. But from december 8th, 2010, mylocal messages afre being charged Re1 and national messages are charged @ rs1.50. I called the airtel customer care 3 times but could not get through to the customer care executive and also the calls were charged. All the time they play the airtel music and there is no one to attend to me. So it is my request to the consumer court that to start my message pack service immediately.
      My request reference number is CBDCC[protected].Please look into the matter and follow up urgently.

        it complaint against air tel relationship centre vikas marg laxminagar delhi 110092. as i anil kumar having a number [protected].i went for convert my number from post paid to prepaid on 25/11/2010.at the same time mr sunny attend me and he has done recharge fo rs 43 .and he told ki call when no is activated,and told that number will activat within 4 hours.but nimber was activated on 26/11/10. i called on 20/11 at 10.30am that recharg has not done,but phone was picked by dolli she done misbihave .and she use to recive my phone and cut at same withit hello at last 5 times.then i visited to show room at the show room also mr sunny and dolly misbihaved with me.i was looking for manager/woner but no mobile numberor any number also not any senior was there for any complaind. so please help me and punish him and her for misbehaiv.

        i had a network problem, i called up to customer care, i did not give me setisfy answer even use abusing language. i felt about this compney.

        on 13 jan 2012 at 12.50 pm i recieved one call from[protected] .person who called me started abusing.

        i given this complaint on 121 ,you r requested pls take strict action on this and dont let them spoil the goodwill of airtel

          I have made a online payment of Rs. 1590/- for installation of Airtel DTH at my home in Visakhapatnam on 23.11.2010 and was told that installation will be done within 24 hrs by airtel person (noida office) . My booking reference is 2981002. Now 4 days have passed and installation has not been done and their representative Mr. harman, bharti, sanjay whose contact number is +91-[protected], office no[protected] does not receive our calls and whenever they pick , give false promises. This is highly unprofessional attitude causing monetary as well as mental trauma to me. I would like strict action to be taken against these people so that they don't ill treat any future customers like they are treating us. I also want to know what hard action i can take aganist airtel

            I have activated super 5 with 150 sms on my airtel mobile by dialing *222*4# at 11 am and even after 5 hrs. i had not received my conformation msg. When i called Customer care he said me to make a paper recharge of 5 rs. and then activate it once more. Up to my knowledge there is no paper recharge of 5 Rs. in Airtel.

                From last 10 years I am using airtel service. I have 3 postpaid connection which are working and one prepaid connection. This prepaid connection was from last 6 years, now its closed by airtel without proper intimation. It was closed before 15 days. It is my old connection and my lot of contacts depend on this .
                I visited Airtel gallery many times, They offer me to take a postpaid connection for same number, but i already recharged that past with 4 years of validity. How could they stop the service and why i pay rental for this new connection? what about my old connection?

                I called 121 (customer care) and they tell me to contact Cheryl Pereira ( Nodal officer) to resolve my problem. but she doesn't received my call. This is a stupid service provided by Airtel.

                I have written an email to them('[protected]@airtelindia.com') and was looking for some solution to my problem, but its also failed.

                I am ready to submit all documents which are necessary but they not take seriously.

                  Dear Sir/Madam,

                  I have baught a new Nokia C3 Moble from Daksh computer Sec.11 Panchkula,Haryana. I have taken a new Airtel prepaid connection ([protected]) from same on dated 12.10.2010. ( With scheme 6 months 2 GB internet free ). I have submtted all documents. I was using this connection from the date of purchasing. I have also recharged it for Rs300. I have recieved a massage from Airtel customer care that your form is incomplete(not available)Pls. deposit. your form with ID proof & recent photograph at nearest Airtel showroom. They disconnect my phone services with this massage. After that I went their showroom in Sector 35C, Chandigarh. They had said to take the documents. They asked me We cant take this. Pls. go to your local showroom. Then I went the Airtel showroom lying in Dera Bassi. They also refused for the same & suggest me to go in Jirakpur Showroom. They also refused. I asked to them then where I have to go. They again said me to go Chandigarh sec35 or sec 32. After that I was harrased . After this I contavt the retailer shopkeeper & he had taken my documents . This is totaly harrasment for 5 to 6 days for me. Untill my servicers are disconnect. Pls. take the neccesary action for poor services by the company. I am thinking this is only the way of robbery of the customer by company.

                  computer — AIRTEL - HARRASMENTS

                  Dear Sir,
                  one year back i got airtel CUG connection through one of my friend who is a dealer in Airtel Tirupur. but due to the poor services i disconnected all the line in the next 3 months. i settled the amount to the Airtel Executive who came to collect the payment. he promised that there is no outstanding payment pending. but after one year, 2 collection executives came from airtel Coimbatore and saying that we have payment pending in all the numbers. they are showing many new numbers which we havent used anytime. this shows the poor way of services in Airtel and it was ONLY the negligence of AIRTEL failing to cancel the lines and trying to collect the money from the customers.

                    I have :Airtel DTH" at my home at Vaishali, Ghaziabad. Since last 15-20 days display qualiti is very poor. In our socity ( of 15 flat) I am only one who have Airtel DTH rest all my nabour hav TATA Sky. And they have not have any problem with their DTH.                     Iam a customer of Airtel digital tv Cus- Id-[protected] this my second complaint to consumer due to a poor response from airtel and every month a new problem will issue pls pls dont sell a poor product to suffer a customer a long time.

                    DVR Machine not working/malfunctioning
                    I bought an Airtel DTH DVR box and connection about a week back (Jan 10th 2011) from a local retailer in Amar Colony Market. The installation and everything was okay. The Airtel guy charged about Rs 700 stating that he needed extra cable. I didnt complain. However, the horror story started right from day 1. The DVR STB is so slow that its practically unusable. I changed the batteries on my remote since the call center guy advised me to do so. But that didnt help. Couple of guys came to try and trouble shoot from Airtel but couldnt do anything. They gave up finally saying that the STB is slow since it has a hard disk and all sort of technical jargon. Even the technician tried navigating the channels using the remote but everytime he pressed "OK" to select a channel, the box took him to the Games menu.

                    I am surprised that no one else has any complaints about the slowness/glaring problems of the device and that makes me think that I was fleeced by Airtel who gave me a malfunctioning, broken worthless STB and now refuses to replace it even though its just been a week since I purchased it. I went back to the retailer to return the box and get my money back, but they completely washed their hands off. No help from there either.

                    The situation is so unbearable that many times I'm just tempted to take my remote and throw it at the television. I am as frustrated as frustrated can be. I want Airtel to take some responsibility and either 1. say that their DVR STBs are not up to any standard o[censored]sage or 2. Replace the box and fix the problem.

                    If the quality of the STB is like I described above, then I'm afraid I do not want the product and want my money back.

                    PS: I hope others reading this review make an informed decision and stick with one of the other companies that provide Digital TV service and DVRs.

I have call to customer care many times but they deniey to lodge to complaint for such type of display and they asking to call me to Asst. AIRTEL DTH when i call there his cell ph swtich off. It is very erriting

                      as i had already compaint to consumer forum so regarding that from airtel mr rakesh kumar contact & said me to scanned the paid bill receipt and then revert by e mail & said that we resolve the problem but as yet not solve but they people disconnect my incoming calls & broadband Connection as its very irresponsible so kindly solve the problem & i need a compensation regarding the same or i have to take serious action against airtel

                      AS I HAD ALREADY PAID MY BILL ON 12TH OF NOV 2010 BUT THEN ALSO I RECIEVE EVERYDAY CALL FROM AIRTEL TO PAY MY BILL, PLEASE SORT THE ISSUE

                      I hold an airtel connection[protected] in the name of gurjot singh. I am facing a severe problem with this connection. My connection has been disconnected with the given reason of non payment which has been done a long time before. I had received calls by airtel a few days before regarding payment dues when i updated them that the payment had been done and also gave them the receipt no. But still my connection was disconnected. I am facing problem due to this and i request you to please sort out the problem urgently.

You have chrged Rs. 10. join games club at http://gclub.in. & Rs 10 cut from my balance. aother msg will come on 22/11/2010. Kindly enqiury these type of dirty msges. Otherwise we go to the police station & file fir. for such no.

                          This is to bring to your notice that my prepaid lifetime Number [protected] was subscribed in the year 2007 as a post paid connection which later on converted to lifetime number after paying the requisite fee of aprox Rs.2500./- Since then was using the said number alongwith another airtel post paid connection. I generally used the prepaid connection for incoming calls only. And since than I was using the number with no problem at all.

                          Till recently I came to know that my prepaid lifetime number was discontinued on 29th October, 2010 without even intimating anything to me. When I contacted the customer care they advised me to visit the airtel center but did not informed me that I need to visit the center within fifteen days of discontinuation. I got ill and could not visited the center within 15 days. I was told by the Airtel center that due to the non usage of Rs. 200/- my connection was deactivated and now the same could not be recovered.

                          i am trying to contact every one at the airtel centre but of no use. I do not want this number to be alloted to anyone else. You will appreciate the fact that there are many numbers available in the market with no cost. There are sentiments involved with your old number and the same have been circulated to my near and dear one and even to those whose numbers I have lost.I request you to please do the neesfule and help me in getting my number back at the earliest.

                              I purchased a prepaid sim card from a Local distributer about 15 days ago or so. I provided all the documents I was told to submit.

                              All of a sudden, I get a text that my phone will be disconnected. I emailed the nodal officer, next day he responded and ASSURED me everything is fine and my phone will not be disconnected. I have attached the proof of this email below.

                              Well, a few days pass and all of a sudden, WITHOUT ANY PRIOR NOTICE, I have been disconnected. When I contacted the nodal officer, they tell me documents are incomplete and the person I spoke to VINOD KUMAR was the most unprofessional person I've come across. He refused to transfer my calls, refused to comprehend what I was saying, and kept insisting documents are incomplete.

                              Here's my issue with Airtel.

                              1. Before sending me a confirmation email stating that "everything is fine and your service will continue to work", CHECK YOUR DOCUMENTS ON YOUR OWN END. Customers are not responsible for you not doing your work properly.

                              2. LEARN TO COMMUNICATE PROPERLY: If you are going to distribute your services through non-airtel shops, make sure you communicate with them properly instead of just dropping by and dumping packs of sim cards to sell.

                              It seems to me Airtel MISSCOMMUNICATES ON PURPOSE because first they want you to send the application fee, do balance recharges, and then all of a sudden after 10 days you will be disconnected and Airtel will benefit from all the lost money that you've put in. THIS IS THEIR RULE. I feel they've figured out a technique to make more money but this is a VERY WRONG and UNETHICAL METHOD.

                              A business-consumer relationship is built on trust and from this experience, I definitely won't be purchasing any more sim cards from airtel. They will refund your money and put the balance on another sim, but it better be an AIRTEL SIM. What the hell? There's a catch to everything, no matter which way you go, they'll get you.

                              3. STICK TO YOUR GODDAMN WORD. If you promise to deliver service, THEN DO SO. Don't randomly disconnect someone, ESPECIALLY without providing prior notice.

                              It seems like you don't know what you're talking about most of the time, sometimes you say the service is fine, there will be no disconnection, but then you randomly disconnect it, then you say No we don't have all the documents intact, then you say you do, then you say you don't. MAKE UP YOUR GODDAMN MIND AIRTEL.

                              4. HAVE THE DECENCY AND HUMAN COURTESY to inform someone that you're disconnecting their service so they're not left stranded in the middle of a desert without a phone they can use to call HELP. When you're unable to provide service, TELL THEM. dont just disconnect it and wait for customers to contact you. We are PAYING FOR THE SERVICE, its not free. Respect your customers. Don't treat us like cattle and sheep. We are not under you, in fact your existence primarily depends on how you provide your service and how satisfied we are as consumers.

                              I've spent 10-15 days dealing with Airtel for something as simple as obtaining phone service, If i'm going to invest so much time into these people who fail to communicate properly, I might as come up with a better solution and build a business of my own. MY TIME IS VALUABLE AIRTEL so either learn to do your job right or exit the market because you seriously don't know how to provide good customer service and satisfy your customers.

                              I am living in our own house(#1. Sathyam Street,Annammal Nagar,Nerkundrem Post,Chennai 600 107) I have given the same address for the two connections . when i was taken second connection twice a time they verified my address proof.. After activation of my sim without my permission they activated DIALER TONE .since i didint like the Dialer Tone i ve contacted cuctomer care service to DE ACTIVATE the tone.. the customer care told us that they will refund the money Rs.30, And I recharge for 155 having recharge later . and the balance i was having without including 155 & 30.. i ve received the msg Your Balance is Rs.204. Immediately few hours later without any INTIMATION my mobile no is DE ACTIVATED. Later i went to the Head office in Chennai they didnt response to my request..they denied to tell the rply.                                 I gave all the required documentes and filled up the form on 13th of November and I was promised that the 1299 broadband connection will be give by 18th of November max and till date nothing has been done.

                                The sales co-ordinator is from Sky Enterprises,Somajiguda,Hyderabad and I have been trying to call him since yesterday and no one picks up his mobile and today a lady picks up his mobile and tells that he has gone on holiday and doesn't have an idea when he will be back and is reluctant to give the phone to any other responsible person.

                                Me asking for a 1299 BB connection shows how urgent and important the internet connection and I am loosing business because of the careless attitude of Airtel or.

                                Can some one please look into this issue

                                Airtel Broadband Connection — Cheering without providing the connection

                                I am Shabeer, doing job as a Software Engineer in Bangalore. I have applied for Airtel Broadband Internet Connection in my wifes name Samira Salaam. One of the agent came to my house and filled the internet connection form and asked my Pan Card xerox copy, passport size photo and collected the money of Rs. 2000 (For wireless modem) and he told like 'with in 3 days you will get the connection'. After few days I Contacted him for the same & he said that "'they have to dig the road, so we can't provide more connection and told like our customer executives will refund the advance money (Rs. 2000/-). But till this date I didn't received the money. I even called the Airtel Manager also (His name is Durai Raj, his mobile no: [protected]). He replied like your money will be sent by Courier. This is very irresponsible on the part of airtel.

                                I strongly feel that these people are collecting the money from Customers & cheating with out giving the connection.

                                When I Called the Manager (Durai Raj, Mobile: [protected]) or the payment, He is not even picking the Mobile.

                                Kindly take this complaint seriously and take necessary action as quick as possible.

                                Hope you will do the needful ASAP, I am kind of stuck up as I have paid the advance and I cannot apply for another service provider.
                                Yday again I called them and the lady tells me the sales person is in a meeting and I insist on speaking to him and she tells he will call me after the meeting and in 5 min time she calls me back telling he has promised to send him team by 12 noon next day, the thing is she can go and disturb him during his meeting but he cannot find time to call me.

                                I was promised that the installation will be done by today afternoon and today is passing by without any installation, I am kind of fedup calling these chaps

                                  I have taken a 1 Year subscription from Airtel Digital TV.
                                  1st of all I was not happy because God TV was taken off my channel list without intimation & wanted to cancel however I was told that the channel might come in again.

                                  Now I return from work at night & the channels show blank.
                                  Channels in entertainment like Colors, Star One are blank.
                                  Also movie channels show blank.
                                  I tried closing the set up box & reconnecting it again however it was of no use.
                                  1st I thought that it is because of weather conditions however yesterday & today it didn't even rain here yet the problem prevails.

Personally I made many calls to CC and walked in to splendid tower center reg the credit limit before getting 1st bill itself(plz check the complaints registered). Nobody has bothered to correct it.

                                  I got bills more than what intended to be, As there was no clarification on the exceed bills, I refused to pay them. Later on they were disconnected. In spite of that I have not left any dues on two no’s ([protected], 3) as they are very important for me, to my shock they were also barred after 6months.

                                  Recently I was approached by another executive Mr.Raju, Incidentally he took me in conference call with airtel admin persons and assured me they will activate the two no’s (541, 543) if I make a final payment of 4500.00(I was told that excess bills were waived off).

                                  Note: Find attachment of voice recordings of the executives, a written and signed paper assuring me the activation of no’s. and closing of remaining no’s.

                                  In the last seven years o[censored]sing the mobile phone, this is the first time I have been using Airtel for the past 1 year and 4 months. The experience is pathetic to say the least, reasons are listed below:

                                  1. Non – Availability of connectivity – I reside at L & T South City, Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore - Reason I believe is that there is a intercom facility provided by Airtel in the society, therefore in order to promote the facility, there might be jammers. Do not know the real reason.
                                  2. Activation of services – Have been requesting the call centre for activation of Airtel live & GPRS, First the call centre guys are not aware as to how the facility works on the cell phone, secondly there are note willing to activate the requested service, till the time a person calls atleast four times.
                                  3. Disconnection of Calls – Calls are disconnected within a minute and one has to dial again, I am sure this will be blamed on my cell phone, which is a brand new Nokia E-71 & have also tried the same on HTC – TYTNII.
                                  4. Non-Availability Network while roaming within Karnataka – Airtel is not available if one travels within Karnataka, and also the other networks available like, Vodaphone cannot be accessed as it gives an error “NO ACCESS”.I basic fundamental rule of being accessible at any place any time is not delivered by AIRTEL.
                                  I am complaining because I am sick of services and wanted to share the frustration and I do not have expectations from the company to resolve the issues.
                                  I really do not know why I am paying for the mobile charges?
                                  Please let me know if there is a possibility of shifting to Vodaphone with the same number and if it not available at present the likely date of getting the same.

                                  airetel mobile service — non availability of roaming services

                                  the complaint on the subject was lodged on 23rd of oct for non availability of roaming services on mobile no [protected] of nasik, maharashtra. The samehas not been resolved till date.

                                  It is therefore requested that in case you are not able to extend the roaming services on above telephone for whatever the reason, you are requested to cancel the subscriberand refund the prepaid amount outstanding against me at the earliest.

                                  My effort to contact the customer care executive at [protected] proved to be futile as they expressed their inability resolve the problem
                                  accord high priority to cancel the subscriber on the grounds of poor services extended by AIRTEL services.

                                  My name is Girish Surti i had given a request on 13 April 2009 for the conversion of my cell number from Post Paid to Pre paid but still things are in dark no one from Airtel is able answer the satus for the same. Nodal officers are also the same they dont have any updated information, on top of that Nodal Officer is replying me that some one has given a call on my landline number and confirmed with me that i DONT want to convert my number from Post to Pre paid on 14 April 2009.

                                  Things are going haywire Airtel wants me to pay the bill amount from the bill date to till the time number is converted. As i have got the request on 13 April 2009 and i will not pay beyond that date.

                                  i was activated the tax wap services on my mobile but they will not any responde means the charge will deducted in my account of airtel but not active this service.after i deactiveted through the customer care services they will deactivated them but still my charge is deducted from my account daily

                                  I am a post paid customer of Airtel for last 3 years and my experience of their customer service given to me and my friends has forced me to write a few words of appreciations for the communication provider. ie. Airtel customer service is PACK of ! They can cease your SIM registration any time. On realizing and calling them by the mid of the night you are suggested to visit their outlet and get the SIM changed.No empathy shown by the people on the other end. You can also get the answer like "no supervisor or manager on the floor" Wonder how do they run the call center without a supervisor or manager.
                                  At times you also come across situations where you would be surprised and left in anger to know that your call has been disconnected by the other end.
                                  God bless Airtel!!! They boost of the best customer service.

                                  these companies never try to resolve your issue at once and when you post something in public like here, there eyes opens.
                                  This is to inform you that MY AIRTEL DTH was not working. THEY HAVE CHAGED the instrument, but not activated. I have been trying to call in the customer service but no use. I have called them 4 times but no one seems to understand adn able to solve the issue.they were telling us that they will be arranging a call back but that also did not happen.The agony was when we called their servoce engineer he was so rude and was using abusing language.

                                  the most saddest part is that I am getting an SMS satating that the compalint I have registered is sloved.

                                  Request you to please adress this issue so that let not other comsumer face the problem.

                                  On 20th of july we had given a complain regarding bad resolution from my set top box.Airtel customer care officials told that issue will be resolved the very next day. The airtel engineers came and told that this set top box needs immediate replacement. They told that the set top box will be replaced next day. But they they didnt do so. Every day i used to give a call in tne morning the dealer used to say they will do the needful in the evening. But nothing was done Later on they told that they have no set top box. Then we talked to airtel higher authorities and they said there is strike going on somewhere and so procurement of the same is not possible for them.Airtel customer care use to tell that issue will be resolved in 24 hours. Today is 29th and i have not received the same yet.Their GSM is not picking our phone. For nine days our family has not watched TV and till when this thing will continue i dont know. Worst part is that today i get a mail from airtel that as per telephonic conversation with me, my issue has been resolved. Today no one from airtel talked to me and the issue has not been resolved.

                                  I use an Airtel prepaid connection + 3G services. Everytime i recharge my phone the entire recharge amount gets consumed for their 3G services within a day without actually using the services. When i went to their Customer Care center in Begumpet they said call up the helpline no *123#. I called them up every time this happens and they say that we apologize for the inconvenience and the next time onwards this will not happen as they will send me a message before my recharge is due. But this has never happened. I have lost in excess of Rs3000 without even a call.

                                  And if you call the customer care you will have to call more than 3 times because not sure if they drop the call on purpose or their network is such that your call will get dropped 3 times on an avg and then they go head and charge you for that call.

                                    I have already sent this mail to wecare.[protected]@airtel.in but already two tickets have been logged , my connection is disconnected and no respite yet.

                                    I like to bring to your notice that there has been consistent irregularity in my airtel broadband bill.
                                    My plan is night time unlimited – 798 under which I have to unlimited download from 10 pm to 6 am.
                                    The trouble started with bill no[protected]bill date 27th july) in which I was overcharged for the date 24/07/10. You see the details in the screenshot below

                                    For the above issue I raised a ticket and I was told by Airtel billing department that the charges have been reverted back and it will be reflected in next bill.
                                    However to my surprise the same was not done in next bill (bill number –[protected], bill date – 07/09/10) and I was again over charged for the date of 23/08/10 and 24/08/10 . . You see the details in the screenshot below

                                    For the above issue also I raised a complaint and got adjustment of 530 by airtel billing department. However I do not agree with the adjustment given.
                                    As any reasonable person will agree that I simply cannot download 4.7GB in two hours with a download speed of 60-70kbps. I have been charged for night also which is not correct. Also I was told by Airtel billing dept that I won’t be charged late fee but still I have been charged for that.

                                    And to my biggest surprise I got 15,383.32 for the month of September (bill no[protected] The details you can see below.

                                    All the above cases are simply logically impossible. On top of that I ve been charged late fee.

                                    I have become frustrated with Airtel billing department. My connection has also been disconnected.
                                    Please take care of the following points:
                                    1) Resolution of issues for the month of july,august and September.
                                    2) Removal of late fees since I have been paying just amount monthly
                                    3) Removal of service taxes charged on overcharged amount.
                                    4) Prevention of such issues in future.



                                    Needless to say that I write to you with great hope. However If resolution of issue is not done quickly I might be forced to take further steps.

                                    Airtel Broadband — Bill overcharge

                                    My normal Airtel bill amount was 992, this month they have changed the plan with out any information and charged me 1202. When i called the customer care i got a very bad response from them and finally they disconnected the call.

                                    Despite assurances from Airtel Customer Service Team my issue has still not be resolved yet and now some lawyer from Delhi is threatning me to settle the issue or a case will be filed against me!
                                    I did get many calls for settlement. I have been charged seventeen thousand where as the valid charges are roughly 2000 !!
                                    The strange thing is nobody is ready to discuss the charges with me. Nobody is ready to listen on which days i have been charges extra. I just get a mechanical reply that such and such amount has been finalised, thats it!!
                                    I will upload the bill soon so that everybody can see the absurdity with which I am being overcharged.

                                      This is for you Information that my Mobile No is [protected] activated Airtel Mobile TV (Messsage No: AD-54321) by Airtel India Survice provider without any prior intimation, information and instructions. Some days ago they also activated caller tune as like as above. Due to this activation they debited amount immediately. Not only that when I tried to intimate their customer care they also debited charges for that during those periods. This is not tollarable for me. Please do the needful.
