Sir , with due regards and respect i (mini malhotra ) would like to inform you that my airtel prepaid sim card
no: [protected] sim no:[protected] H2 was barred of all the services .. i purchased my sim during the time of my admission( during first week of august 2010) in LPU (lovely professional university ), jalandhar . A special camp by Airtel was organised in the university campus . i gave my driving license as my id proof and got it recharged by an amount of rs 555. After about a week i got a call from the airtel office telling me that my documents have not yet submitted to them .. And then they barred my services inspite of my telling them that i have given my documents to the vendor in the camp.. And now that number is allotted to a new customer somewhere in ludhiana. I even got a new airtel mobile connection with the same id mobile no: [protected]
Kindly do the needful at your earliest to avoid any harassment for your esteemed customers. Hoping for an early and a favourable action.

Airtel Prepaid — prepaid sim blocked without any reason

Sir,
With due respect i beg to state that my airtel prepaid sim [protected] ha been blocked a month ago without any reason. i have resubmitted my detail to the dealer month ago, but no action and response from concerned service provider.
i hope that concerned authorities will solve the problem as soon as possible.
My name is Sreekrishnan. Even I am facing the same problem. I am not able to make calls from my number. The interesting part is that I took the sim just 2 weeks back and submitted all the required documents at that time. Now I have been asked to resubmit the documents. Now I am not able to make or receive any calls from my number. Please help me out. Its very very urgent.

    For the last 1 month AIRTEL is harassing me for resubmitting ID proof documents. Why? Why again?? Is this the way a company treats its customers. Sending threatening SMS as if we are anti-socials they say if I don’t submit my connection will be discontinued , as if I have taken the connection without submitting any document.

    1. While taking the connection 2 years back, I had to submit all the details. And as far as I remember unless all the documents reaches AIRTEL office , the new SIM doesn't get activated.

    It has been activated indicates that they have checked it properly at their end. If not, it's completely their fault.
    2. And even if due to govt rules they need them again, the company should known how to ask their customers. (in writing in request form) as I am sure till now they have not kept the records of the customers properly. And now messed up the things.

    I would like to deposit these documents in a new company for taking new connection rather than depositing here.

      Hi,

      This is chandrasekhar.i have an airtel prepaid connection and the number is [protected].
      from last ten days i am getting too many incompatible messages(from 55435) and airtel calls to my mobile number.Even i have register the DND service some 3 months back and when i got these messages again i have register the services .

      the Problem is i am getting daily some 15-20 messagges and calls ,when i contact to airtel services they said i have to bear with for 45 days from the day of DND register.

          Hi,.

          I requested for a Airtel Digital TV connection on 8th September, 2010. I visited the Airtel Website and made the payment of around 4000/- for 1 year subscription using my credit card. Later i was found that the signal from the satellite is not available at my flat so i got it disconnected on 12th September.

          Since then i have been Calling up with their Customer Care and mailing at [protected]@airtel.in. Everytime they say that the amount would be refunded soon.

          It's been around 2 months and i am still waiting for my refund. Now when i call they put my call on hold and do not reply back.

          Please help me get my money back.

            It is of mere frustration that i am writing this complaint.
            The problem is that as many times i recharge my sim that balance gets debited and i receive an SMS saying "thanks for downloading javagames. you have been charged rs. 99". Neither have i used the GPRS nor i am getting the downloaded material on my phone and also i have deleted the settings on my phone still i am getting such messages whenever i recharge my sim.

            the worst part is when i try to contact customer care for the problem i am facing. it seems that airtel has hired a whole lot of to deal with their customers. i made repeated calls to customer care. they listen all the story and put me on hold saying that they are transferring the call to some senior. after some time the call gets disconnected.

            what i want is either they tell me proper reasons for these deductions or refund my money back.

            It seems airtel is making money by such fraudulent ways only and hiring the cheapest unskilled people. Purchasing any airtel service is like purchasing china goods, which works till you are lucky after that better you thow it away and don't expect any servicing/support.

              AirTel — NEGLIGENCE IN SERVICES

              I Pawan Kumar R/O of 4J NH4 NIT Faridabad SGM Nagar Haryana is the user of your Mobile prepaid services I am using an Airtel mobile no [protected] from the last five years. In the month of July I have purchased a new Nokia cell phone (N 73) with IMEI No.[protected]. In the month of August, I have subscribed for Internet services on my above said Airtel connection. After 4-5 days of subscription of internet connection I got to know that some one is using my connection as the Balance amount in my phone is deducted automatically without using. I think some one has hacked my mobile as airtel is using unsecured internet connection. I have noted that some one is illegally dialing some international phone numbers through my phone details of dialed numbers are as under:-

              That I have reported the above matter to airtel call centre and airtel office (OKHLA) several times but my problems have not been solved yet. I have suffered huge financial loss and mental pain by the above said act of airtel.

              I therefore requested you to kindly look into the matter and refund my balance amount which has been illegally deducted from my airtel account otherwise the abovementioned act is indeed regrettable and highly unbusiness like. On account of your aforesaid dereliction of duty and failure and neglect to rectify your defect in service , You are hereby requested to remove the said defect in services and pay the compensation for financial loss, mental pain, agony and loss of goodwill failing which I shall be constrained to initiate against you for redressal of my aforesaid grievances such proceedings, both civil and criminal as are warranted by law ,besides filing a complaint under the statutory provisions of Consumer Protection Act, exclusively at your own risk, cost, responsibility and consequences which please note.

              AirTel — Negligent service

              Dear Sir,

              my mobile no. for Prepaid Airtel connection is [protected]. I have converted my Post paid service to prepaid on 10th Oct 2011 with all the documents and photograph submitted. After that my service for prepaid has been activated. but on 20th october Airtel has suddenly barred my outgoing facility without any intimation. When I visited their Splendid Tower, secunderabad office, they said that the documents I have submitted were handled by a trainee who has not scanned the documetns properly and I need to submit all the documents with photograph again.

              Firstly they had to intimate me prior to debarred my outgoing facility and should not harrass me to provide all the documents again. They must have those documents hard copies in thier archives, but still they are asking for fresh copies.

              I am Gopendra Singh Dixit. My landline number [protected] was dead since 08-06-13. I filed complains on customer care number for so many times and talked to junior representatives and with so many floor supervisors of your customer care centre also but of no use. They promised me every time to repair the problem as early as possible but they really didn’t bother. हद तो और भी हो गई जब आपके supervisors ने दो बार तो यह भी बोल दिया कि आपका फोन तो चालू हो गया है और कल शाम को आपसे ही बात करके confirmation लिया कि फोन चालू है . मै उनको ज़ोर से चिल्लाया कि फोन बंद ही पड़ा है और किसी ने भी मुझसे कोई confirmation का बात नहीं किया है .
              Your representatives kept me telling that your technician team has examined my site and they have sorted out that there is one major fault in cable and that will take 2 – 3 days to repair.
              BUT THEY WERE LYING ONLY. NOBODY VISITED AT MY PLACE AND YOUR TECHNICIAN TEAM WAS REPORTING FALSELY ON PAPERS.
              On 17-06-13, one technician came to my site and shown me that there was only a minor cable cut and he repaired it within ½ hour.
              So, now you see that what is the problem with your workers. My hospital’s phone was dead for one week and I was talking with your junior and senior representatives for so many times. But they didn’t take it seriously. Don’t you think that you should take stringent action against it ?
              And last of it that my hospital phone was dead from 08-06-13 to 17-06-13 so reduce the bill amount for days in which the phone was dead.

                Airtel Dish Tv — recharge failure

                sir, dr kukula recharge her dish tv connection on 25th aug with dish care paradise market h.d lama rd darjeeling for 3 months. howver even after 4 days recharge has not been done.service of the dishcare needs vast improvement.

                  I am mishandled by AIRTEL HD DTH. after installation I feel cheated by AIRTEL.
                  I booked a HD connection through IVR on 30th Oct 2010 as per the advice of customer care executive that it will be installed on 31st but before 1st Nov. But after repeated calling on 1st Nov. they can't be able to provide the exact installation date.Then finally they installed on 2nd Nov 2010.They have not provided any bill amount whatever I paid through IVRS.On another hand, the installation engineer has not provided the 18 meter cable which was my part of aggrement while buying the HD connection worth Rs.2840.00.I don't think anybody is listenning! Why the false promise, if they can't perform, why the cheating?One thing I forgot also, I have lodged a complain to replace my dish antenna to the top of the roof today(3rd Nov) let see when they are coming to solve that.All total by applying AIRTEL HD I lost extra Rs. 500.00.Can anybody resolve this issue? Infact I am circulating my experience to my friends, who has just started or going to start family to not to use atleast AIRTEL DTH.

                    I was one of the customers of Airtel Broadband in Hyderabad (Customer ID: 14287200; Phone No[protected]. I have taken new connection on month of November 2008; in month of March 2009 I have sent a request to shift my connection to new location (Ref ID: 80096); but unfortunately that particular location Airtel doesn't have connectivity. So i have send request for cancellation on 10th March 2009 (Ref ID: 258215). After March 2009 i have not heard anything from Airtel also didn't receive any notice or document in my new location. After more than 1 year I got a call in month of April 2010 from Mr. Balbinder, New Delhi court that you got court summons and has to present on court in next 3 days. He also mentioned advocate Mr. R K Solanki who is involving in this process. In this regards I have discussed with Nodal Officer Mr. Aravind, Bangalore office (Off No[protected] and Ms. Soumya in month of April; but till now i have not heard anything from Airtel.

                          Dear reader, This is Ramesh, last week I had a bitter experience with Aitel dth service engineers, I plan to relocate my house due to some of my personal reasons last month, so I called this airtel costumer care to book their service engineers for de-installation and reinstallation of my airtel dth on 24th Oct, the relocation distance is only 5km from my previous address, So I booked both the things on the same day,
                          But engineers didn’t call or come for relocate my dish simply I was waiting till my booking time and I called that Airtel and complained for the same, they gave me one of their engineers mobile number, I also called him but the thing is he had already resigned from Airtel, (Now you note that I have to relocate my all house hold things that day or else I have to pay one more month rent)
                          Again I called to that CC number, they are very coolly saying that their data not updated, and they have asked me to relocate in one another day. I got irritated, and I shouted on them. And finally I booked for 30th of the same month (now I am paying one month rent extra to my old house owner)
                          Again there are no response form airtel dth engineers, so I understood that it is impossible to relocate the Airtel dth dish through airtel engineers. So I contact one local electrical shop guy, he has relocated that within 1.30 hours with 200Rs.
                          Now the questions is
                          1)Why the communication gap between costumer care and engineers?
                          2)Why they are creating such a big demand for their work?
                          3)How can I change my address in their account now?
                          4)Suppose I am unable to change my address, what will happen in future?

                            Dear Sir,

                            Regarding the above said concerns yesterday[protected] I got a call from Mr. Manoj (AIRTEL-DELHI)-[protected] at around 13:30hrs and collected all the details by phone.

                            He then called me up again within few minutes and assured that he had spoken to concern authoritie and the services will be activated in one & half hrs.

                            By 15:00hrs the Outgoing services were activated. Mr. Manoj confirmed the same at around 17:00hrs. Then few call were also made by me.

                            But today morning when I tried to make a call from the said SIM-[protected] again teh same message was received from automated system and the Outgoing calls are barred.

                            Is this the way services are rendered to consumers..? I hope AIRTEL is a tout company. Sure it will be confirmed by most of consumers.

                            The concerns listed on this complaint forum itself is an evidence for the same.

                            This is totally Unsatisfactory services...

                            If any compensation has to be claimed pls suggest me the way at the earliest.

                              Airtel is a fraud company.

                              1st issue; This is not the first time issue, I have faced number of issues like this, for ex;
                              I got a message from LKD services and they themself detected Rs.10/- immediately.
                              I called airtel and raised the issue they provided refund of Rs.8/- what about the remaining 2/-.
                              even so i left it. That day evening i got the same message and they detected the same ammount again, i called them and shouted and told them to cancel all the services that are active in mu number and they provided Rs.10/- refund.

                              2nd issue; They started detecting 1 rs daily, i dint notice it for a long period, when i noticed it i called them and raised the issue they told i have activated a service and thats the reason they are detecting daily rental.How this happened, last time itself i have canceled all the services.

                              3rd issue; Actually I got call from airtel, I just attended the call and immediately disconnected when i came to know that is from airtel, next day when i checked my balance i lost Rs.15/- for the service that i have not activated.
                              I called to customer care and told my issue and raised a complaint. They are not bothered about my issue and also they told they cant provide refund.

                              This is what i noticed, without my knowledge i dont know how much they have taken from my balance account.
                              I am not gona use any Airtel product nor gona recommend any one for airtel.
                              I am gona tell this to every one I know who are all using Airtel and stop them from using airtel services.

                              Don't use airtel sim/net/phone connection/any product of airtel, they will charge you unnecessarily and they wont provide refund also.

                              Don't belive them, I remind you again.

                              If you have any of airtel products please change them immediately.

                              Be Aware, its your money that they are charging for doing nothing and that money didn't come from sky, you have gained it by your hard work,..etc..

                              We have to dump them down, please join hands, since no one is asking they are doing like this.I don't know about other networks but please don't go for Airtel for anything.

                              Airtel SUCKS.

                              Please help me spread this information.

                              Forward to all your contacts.

                              If you/any of your friends/family members using airtel please tell them to change to another network as soon as possible.

                              Airtel Prepaid — Extra charge on SMS

                              I am being charged 1.50 rs to 2.00 rs per sms, which i must be charged only 1.00 rs. i have complained in gallery 3 times but no action has been taken on it...
                              kindly take some action on it...
                              i m also a airtel user.. one thing u must b aware of is that u r charged 1 rs per sms. now if the characters exceeds 164 characters in 1 sms, then it becomes 2nd sms and 2 rs are cut, although the sender and the receiver find it 1 continuous sms, it is infact 2 sms as the number of letter (including spaces) are more than 164... similarly, as the characters increases, sms no and rs increases

                              Any service provider company now a days automatically activates a VAS and Airtel is leader in that. So it is advisable to check frequently i.e. once in a week whether they have activate any of the service or no. You can check it by dialing *121# and then check 'stop service'

                              Not only booster and tariff, but also reduced talktime of every recharge.

                              By giving sms balance they reduce talktime. it is commeon for those who already done sms booster recharge. Is it not fraudulant?

                              they increased booster pack rates, by giving free sms, then why they charge for sms while doing top-ups?

                              once upon a time a booster pack was Rs.97, tariff A-A:10 ps, other 50 ps, 5000 sms free with 3 months validity, now it s 195 with 10000 sms and 225 with 18000 sms.

                              Today I have send some local sms but the charge of Re 1/- deducted from my main balance where I hv 10 local free SMS available.

                              The Airtel is the worst service provider in the world. One day i saw my account had Rs.34.00 as balance and when i saw on next day morning it was Rs.29.00, Rs 5.00 gone. When i called the customer care, they told me i used Airtel Live to browsing but i am using mobile office which i paid Rs98.00. The further told me to send sms LIVE to 54321 to activate aritel live, its clearly misleading as it will just activate the Airtel live and when i send DLIVE to the same 54321 i got lot of options but none of them are related with deactivation. Since Its happening all the time, I am planning to move to Tata Doccomo which my Friend is using without getting any pain like this (He got Rs.10 back after the charged him without his knowledge). If the AIRTEL keep on doing this, they are going to loose their no.1 tag as service provider. Its clearly showing that Airtel is biggest loser after the Mobile portabality was introduced......

                              i accpted that i am not changed my network due to that plan...Now from july 2 onwords that plan is automatically changed to some other plan now i am in 30 paise plan..

                              airtel sucks consumer money through airtel live and mobile office service. best advice dont use this kind network, i will change to docomo.
                              Airtel is the worst service provider for fixed line and broadband connections.
                              I had a monthly plan of 699rupees but bill amount was 824rupees so why can't they add GST to their plan, but I consulted a branch workman he told me that the amount 699 was including GST so the rest are hidden taxes.
                              Now a few weeks ago I changed my plan to 799rupees now the bill is 920rupees again the game of hidden charges.
                              Airtel has played a huge scam over ous.

                                Aitel provides number 121 to be dialed from landline. If the landline phone is not working then how can one contact without any landline number. This way airtel restricts customer to launch complaint against not working of landline. In a way this is harrassment to the customers taking services of airtel.

                                  We are terrified and very very very scared to answer any phone calls as we receive many treat calls and abusive calls during the whole day and night.
                                  Also there are old grant parents who are very very SICK also there is a child with Polio who is under a lot of fear.

                                  We have gone to police station many times with no response and the say please avoid these calls.

                                  After some enquiry i have come to know there SIM cards are issued on wrong addresses by the Mobile operators without any verification.

                                    We (Me and my roommate) have booked a Airtel broadband IMPATIENCE 1299 plan on 25/09/2010.
                                    The Airtel executive N.MURALI(FSO CODE:DS1104035) called us repeatedly and convinced to provide the airtel broadband connection within 3 days.
                                    According to his information we are supposed to get the connection on 27/09/2010.So we issued a cheque 0f 3897/- on behalf of bharti airtel.
                                    The next day the cheque was encashed but we didn't get any communication either from Murali or airtel customer side.

                                    we tried to contact Murali but the way he communicated with us is very embarrassing.so i communicated with airtel customer care.
                                    but again the same thing happened and i got the next date for the broadband connection and the same process repeated for around 3 weeks.

                                    Finally they told me that there is some technical problem and they can't provide us airtel connection,so i asked them to refund the money.
                                    They lodged my request and replied to send back the cheque .But till now i haven't received any cheque.

                                    As we were communicated regarding the connection within 2-3 days,so we have disconnected our existing connection.
                                    Also as my money was blocked for such a long period i was not able to take any other connection by other internet providers.
                                    so for around 35 days we faced heavy losses without internet connection.


                                    Previously also we have faced the same situation with airtel and they returned our cheque but this time they told the same will not happen but infact this happened
                                    If Airtel will treat the customers in this way then how can we trust on its service.

                                    Still i haven't got my money and i suffered a heavy loss without internet connection from last 35 days.

                                    So i want immediate settlement regarding my losses incured.

                                      Due to the unsatisfactory performance of the equipment and deficiency

                                      Airtel DTH — Deficiency of service

                                      Dear Sir/Madam,

                                      This is to inform that my self Amit Kapoor, r/o H.NO.3025/2, 1ST Floor, Chuna Mandi, Paharganj, New Delhi-110055 had applied for DTH connection on 5-Sep-10 and also paid Rs.999/- thru credit card and the same was debited into my credit card A/C that day itself.

                                      As I did not want to avail this service (DTH-Airtel), the very next day i.e. on 6.9.2010, I personally informed Airtel-DTH Customer Service Centre for cancelling my request for DTH connection and also asked them to refund the money I had paid. I was assured by Airtel-DTH customer care executive that my request will be taken care of and my money will be refunded within next three days from 6/09/2010.But I neither got the refund nor anybody from Airtle-DTH customer service has showed up.

                                      On 9-Sep-2010, I again sent a reminder to the Airtel - DTH requesting for the refund but till date i did not get any response from Airtel - DTH.

                                      As this is matter of deficiency of Services which is causing me both mental harassment as well as taking up both time and money. So I am lodging this complaint and requesting you to kindly look into the matter and do the needful so that i can have my money back at the earliest and save from the harrasment .
