I have a postpaid connection from Airtel. My address proofs and details were verified by the company and they took quite some time to activate my postpaid number. Actually I was using the same number since 3 years now, but got it converted from prepaid to postpaid now. Without any prior intimation they cut my service, when asked for a reason from customer care, I was informed that due to non compliance my number was blocked. I was asked to submit all my proofs once again to reactivate my account. In spite of my busy schedule, I found some time off my office to visit Airtel office (Had to struggle even to locate one) and enquired for activation. They had no clue as to why my number was deactivated. The agent (or executive) whoever contacted me for converting it to postpaid came into picture here and from then on the only response i could get was "by tomorrow it will be activated". Overall in the three years, Airtel's service was pretty much disappointing. Couldn't change my number because of professional reasons. Need number portability soon in India.

i have paid my bills then also number is being barred that also after paying my bill many times i have complaint about it nobody in pune taking responsiblity i am thinking of going to consumer court and iam using 30 to 40 airtel numbers in my company all that numbers also iam going to discontinue...please take these matter seriously veryt bad and worse company

i have paid my bills then also number is being barred that also after paying my bill many times i have complaint about it nobody in pune taking responsiblity i am thinking of going to consumer court and iam using 30 to 40 airtel numbers in my company all that numbers also iam going to discontinue please do something or airtel maharashtra head should do sumthing and please see these matter seriously and everytime in our bill extra charges and late fee is being charge in every billo without any reason.we have always paid bill on time.airtel is becoming worse and worse

Airtel Postpaid Connection — Barred my no.

I Am using airtel postpaid connection from last two years and i am one of the premium customers with credit limit of INR 7000 +..

and they generated my bill for December on 6th january with last due on 24th January and they barred my phone on 10th january saying for some bill due for may last year.. they just barred it without any information. and this is just any fake bill as i have clared all my bills on time..

I don't understand how can a company like Airtel, play with their clients..
I have taken airtel postpaid no from delhi. i am working in one of the office of ministry of defence .i have given my office address for billing .my office is located at palam road, now my connection has been debarred for outgoing calls saying address is not verified i donot understand as to how i can be responsible for that it is the job of the company to verify the adress. all document were submitted at the time of getting the connection. today i am getting the message to submit the document again why ? ? neither i have time nor patience to accept this arbitrary action . I am central government employee and i feel it is your company who is failing to verifying my address i request my calls may be restored immediately
hi, i m very frastrate about your service, i was a prepaid users since last 4 year, before 15 days, i was convert my prepaid to postpaid, but i didnot thing, after postpaid i will face so much problem, i m working with nokia, my mobile is very important for me then my meal, i never switch off my mobile, for miss my call, but sudenly without any information, my outgoing is barred, i cant understand, what happend, then i made a call to customer care, i heard for some my documents problem, they barred my outgoing, and customer care executive told me to make a call to airtel executive, when i made a call to him, he was totally not reciving my call, his name is pradip, area rourkela, then i made a call to binay, sitting in jagjit electronics, after long try, he recived my call and tell me ur outgoing will be start after 15mins, but again when i was not getting my solution, again i made a call to him, he was totally not recived my call, for these two executive, i have all ready took decision to cancel my postpaid first, then my prepaid also, and i will go for voda fone, and one things i want to tell u, i m working with nokia, nokia come with airtel, but from tommorow, every day atleast i convert ur airtel customer to other network, b'cus 104+ guy's working with me, and i m asm of nokia, thanx, good luck
airtel is going in hole. i[censored] want to save, then save, other wise that days will come no body will go for airtel. all airtel executive are useless. they only searching a murga, after that they are not taking any responsibility. i want to give your two executive mobile no. plz note and take serious action about them

    I am Naresh kumar and I have recently lost my sim card of mumbai region having mobile no [protected]. This card is having prepaid balance of 315.72 rs. as on 2nd october and I did the last recharge in this card of 300rs. through Icici online net banking. This no. is in roaming area from last 6 months. So, you are requested to block this prepaid number as soon as possible. If you need any other clarification regarding this number, you can ask me on my present local airtel number of rewari (haryana) : [protected]. Please take the necessary immediate action and block the service of prepaid number at the earliest.I would like to provide the additional information of the lost sim card is that I purchased this sim card on 10th april 2010 from a shop near fountain area in mumbai.You are most welcome to ask any other question relating to the lost simcard.

    so iam kindly asking to deactivate this sim card so no one could misuse it.

    This with reference to my prepaid connection [protected] having sim number[protected]. I had purchased this card from Hitech city Hyderabad Andra pradesh,on October 2008.I have lost my sim card kindly deactivate the sim card
    I am Ankita Ahuja.I lost my AIRTEL PREPAID sim card of Lucknow city, Uttar Pradesh having number [protected] on 31st March'2012, this sim card contains balance of approximately 108 rs., i got my last balance recharged online of 333, through Axis debit card.This connection is on my mother's name (Mrs.Meena Ahuja).
    So, I would like to request you to please block my sim card.For any other enquiry you can contact me on this number- [protected].
    I would be thankful if you take the neccessary actions as soon as possible.

      I have been getting a sms which reads:

      You have been renewed for WeeklySub subscrition service from Airtel. You have been charged Rs.20. Play Games at Re. 1 http://203.115.112.5/GCLite

      And I have no idea when I did subscribe to such service. And when I try to stop the service through airtel's *121*5# (Stop a service), I see that I have no services I subscribed to. How do I fix this?

        hello sir, today i got a call from [protected] .the man attending the call told me that i got a lottery of 25 lakhs from Airtel. thats why i want to lounge a complain against these numbers as well as the service provider because its a privacy concern.
        he gave me another number as well :[protected]. i want to know who is responsible for these fake calls.?

        respected sir, here i got a call from this number[protected] on date 28 april 2011 .he said that i got lotery winner of cricket world cup from airtel company. price 10lak. the person who call me his name is akash verma . and he give me his indivituale number [protected]. as he said that i have to give tex, and he give me one of his another worker account number to deposit money his name is kuldeep gupta and his account number is ([protected]) SBI.and i alredy deposit in his account Rs.11200 plus Rs.7100 two times on date 29 may 2011. Afeter that agin i got call and i deposit 15200Rs plus 10000Rs two times on 2nd may 2011. after that agin i deposit 8000Rs on 3rd may 2011 and he order me to buy disc tv coupon price 250 quintety 235 Total Rs 58750. agian i buy coupon price 160 quintety 179 total Rs 28640. and after that i got call from another worker of this company he said he was maneger of airtel company his name is sundersingh i deposit money on one of his friend account number ([protected])the person who is holder of that account his name is shahid ifam. total i deposit money around 1lak 70, 000Rs i paid him, still he order me too deposit money in his account so i want to know that is it true or fake here i lost all this money to that person. as he give me this lottery number to...(065).sir please take action on this fake person as possible i'm waitting for your response ... my number is [protected].hope you will help us .thanking you my name is tenzin khedup.

        i am from bangalore, these days i get daily calls from this number[protected] but never pick it up, today i picked it up once and the guy was speaking an indian language which i dont understand, i hung up and since then hes calling continously till late night

        i look up on the internet for the number (trace mobile) and found that its from bihar & jharkhand airtel

        i am really angry now!! somebody do something about it, this is [censored] !!

        Even i received a miss call from [protected] and when i called back that Guy is congratulating me for winning 15 lacs after that he gave me a internet no with a three digit lottery no to claim the price by the time i understood his trick and cancelled the call my 50rs balance was deducted... please some take this matter seriously as its a new scam for making money!

        hi i got a miss call on 13th may 2013 from this no. [protected]. i called him back. he said that
        he was from airtel head office in delhi and i had won a 25 lakh rupee lottery in a lucky draw. i need to contact mr. rihan patel at [protected]. i did. i was talking to him, he said that i had to do some formality and paper work and that my phone no. was being displayed on TV since last 3 days. didnt i know that i had won the lottery? i said i dont have an idea. suddenly the phone got disconnected. i was only on the line for 2-3 minutes. i noticed my balance had gone down to Rs 1.37. i did a recharge and called back. he sd it was a computer no. thats why the chargers are high, 12 rupees per min. i sd but that should have lasted for atleast 10 mins. i asked him which TV channel was displaying the lottery. he didnt answer. he was exited and was greeting me congrats. ( appko pure airtel ki taraf se pure bharat ki taraf se badhai ho, aaj bank 4.30 baje tak bandh ho jayega. aapko aaj hi encash karva lena hai. i sd ok. he sd call me back in 5 mins and keep your bank details handy. he asked me for account no. i gave him. he sd now do as i say. go to the bank with your ATM and cheque book. A sum of 22, 000 will have to be deposited as a tax. I SAID WAIT A MIN. STOP THERE. IF I HAVE WON THE LOTTERY WHY SHOULD I BE PAYING ANYTHING FOR IT. IT ISNT AN INTERNATIONAL TRANSACTION. I CAN VISIT AIRTEL OFFICE FOR CONFIRMATION AND FORMALITIES. WONT THAT DO ? WHY DO I HAVE TO GO TO SBI? I AM NOT GOING TO PAY A PENNY FOR THE 25 LAKHS. HIS TONE CHANGED. HE BEGAN USING FOUL LANGUAGE ( AISI BAATE GIRE HUE, GHATIYAA LOG KARTE HAI, KUCH PAANE KE LIYE KUCH KHONA PADTA HAI, HAI KI NAHI? I SAID NO. YEH BUSINESS THODI NA HAI. AT THIS MOMENT I WAS SURE NOT JUST FROM HIS TONE BUT FROM THE WAY HE WAS EXPLAINING THAT HE WAS FROM PAK. I feared that they would misuse my bank account details.
        i have therefore changed all my passwords and have spoken to the bank manager regarding this.
        PLEASE BE AWARE IF YOU RECEIVE A MISS CALL FROM A 14 DIGIT NO. OR STARTING WITH 0092, ITS A SCAM.ITS FROM Fraudster Scamster PAKISTAN. JUST ABUSE THE PERSON ON THE LINE IN THE WORST POSSIBLE WAY SO THAT HE NEVER CALLS BACK.

        this has happend to me las night which was on 17th July 2013.

        My parents had no idea about but the calls were contineously coming for congratulating saying 25 lakhs are ready in Bond.

        So, people just ignore such call. Nobody will call and inform anybody about winning a lottery when one has not opted for it. Don't respond them back. Just Ignore.

              I am Sheetal Hulabutte, customer of airtel from last 3-4 years, i am using post paid airtel sim from chennai. my No. is [protected].
              I moved to Malaysia last two month before. After that my wife visited to airtel shop at Hubli Karnataka, three times to cancel this number. but airtel people telling i only need to come for cancelling this number. But only for this reason i can not come to India. I have paid all my dues upto date. so please i request you to deactivate my sim. and ensure there should not be any further bill genertate on this number.

                      Im Anithaa using prepaid connection [protected]. A month ago i was asked to submit my ID proof details to the nearest airtel centre but the connection im using now was taken by one of my friend's father and now we dont contact each other.. The connection was taken from Hosur airtel centre now i stay in chennai and its highly impossible for me to contact them now.. I tried explaining many times that i ve been using this number for the past 3 years ( i got a verification call as soon as i took the connection, i have given my details as well) and im ready to submit my ID proof but you are not accepting which leaves me highly disappointed and im completely dissatisfied with your services.. I need a way to change my prepaid connection to my name..

                        I have paid advance quarterly rent for V-set site id No. 13651, for the supply of bandwidth; unfortunately you have failed in it. Because of that reason I demanding refund of paid amount.

                          Many retail shops in nagpur are selling airtel recharge vouchers for more cost than the mrp.
                          example -
                          mrp 10 rs airtel voucher = 11 rs
                          mrp 30 rs airtel voucher = 32 rs
                          mrp 67 sms recharge pack = 70 rs..
                          please do something about this..
                          this isnt only the case with airtel..
                          the retailers are selling the vouchers for other telecom companies too..
                          i am aware of many shops..
                          example : the grocery shops at pagalkhana square at chaoni sell vouchers for more the mrp..
                          please help.

                          Airtel — costly vouchers

                          i m using airtel connection from past 4 years. m very impressed by ur service n network but ur message n other voucher is very costly. i bought a message voucher of rs 42 something n i got only 100 free messages.i mostly used to do messages instead of making calls.earliere ur message voucher was of rs 32 only, in which one message was of only20 paisa that was ok for me. but that scheme is now finised. there is now only one voucher of rs 42. so please its my request to change your schemes of messages. it should be cheaper otherwise i will have to take a new connection of other company. there is lot of other cheaper connections.

                              I have an airtel prepaid connection ,using your continous services (mob. no. [protected]) from more than three years ,recently i have lost my sim card ,after reporting the FIR I got re-issued the new sim (sim no.[protected] on 24.10.2010 from S.D.Comunnications Jari,Kullu,Himachal Pradesh. and they told that the sim will get activated on 25.10.2010 at or after 12:00 noon ,but till now my sim is not activated because of which I am suffering a lot.
                              after contacting with Mr. Kamal (Airtel office,Bhunter,Kullu) he was re-assuring that the sim will activate on 28.10.2010 at 12:00 noon but its as it is and even not recieving the calls.suffering me lot.
                              so, I request you to do needfull and take the urgent action.

                                2 days ago, my outgoing calls were blocked and I was getting a message saying my documents were not in order. This was fixed on its won after a day.
                                Today, October 28th, 2010 , my outgoing calls are being rejected for seemingly no reason.
                                I do not know that the issue is - I cant even call 121 - my call is rejected there as well !!!

                                Airtel Prepaid — blocking outgoing calls without valid reason

                                Sir,

                                My mobile no. is [protected] and registered in the name of Chandresh V. Shah,
                                I am using this no. from more then 3 years.

                                My out going calls has been blocked with no valid reason from 24.10.10. Before that on 23rd i had a voice message that my documents are improper and my call was diverted to your customer care executive who has verified my registration details and my outgoing was activated. then why again it was blocked the next day. On[protected] at around 9.15 am my call was again diverted to your customer care executive who assured me that within 4 hours my outgoing call will be activated, but it didn't.

                                Again after 4 hours i complained to your customer care executive who gave me a complain no. "[protected]' and assured me that it will be activated within 6 hrs. When i asked the reason for blocking my outgoing he informed me that it was due to technical problem. but the problem remained same even after 6 hrs.

                                At around 8 PM again i complained and i was given a complain no. "[protected]" and i was assured that my problem would be solved within 1 hr. But it didn't till now. again i complained today morning and i was given a complain no.[protected]. when i asked for the reason again i was informed that my outgoing is blocked from "Bharti Telecommunication" and i have to submit my document again.

                                I don't understand the system of working of customer care department. Am i a fool? why am I getting different reason every time i complain for the same problem. If my documents are not proper then why is my card activated since last more than 3 yrs.
                                What is the problem with my documents. No one is giving me the proper reply regarding the fault in my document.

                                I request you to give me the valid reason why my outgoing services is blocked. If my documents are not proper please email a copy of my documents filed with you and the faults in it.
                                I assure you that i will provide all the clarification regarding my document.
                                Kindly look into the matter as early as possible.

                                I finally visited the local Airtel office taking time off from work. Turns out they want me (and many others) to resubmit documentation ! I must compliment Airtel on really knowing customer service ! Treating customers like cattle is the way to go - Bravo !

The interesting part is that I took the sim just 2 weeks back and submitted all the required documents at that time. Now I have been asked to resubmit the documents.                                 Airtel — no outgoing calls without a reason

                                Dear Sir

                                I am an AIRTEL subscriber of Assam having no [protected].The no is in the name of my father Mr Nirmal Kanti Choudhury. Around 4/5 days back in the evening time when I tried to make a call, I notice that no outgoing calls are allowed from my no. A pre-recorded notice I got that my no has sent for verification and asked me to dial a no if I wish to talk to a customer care executive. I did the same for more than around hundred times but every time after dialling it got disconnected. I contacted the local franchisee and they also asked me to call the customer care.

                                When I tried to make a call, I noticed that money is getting deducted from my account, though no messages and calls are allowed.

                                I am not happy to say that I am fed up and highly disappointed with the service of Airtel. If the same process continues I will have to switch to some other mobile operator.

                                I will expect that you will take that matter seriously and will resolve the problem as early as possible.

                                  I had Re- submitted my documents regarding my ID 2 months later. But now i daily received lots of messages that "As per govt. rules your documents was not completed. Please submit the documents to your nearest airtel customer service center. To enjoy the enjoy the Service". I want to complain that as i re-submit my all docs than why again & again you send me this msg daily 5-6 times....

                                  Kindly please update Ur system & don't disturb the costumers...

                                    airtel was offering three months free subscription with purchase of TV at big bazar but when I called them to install the DTH they were asking for charge of Rs.875 with was not mention while buying the TV so i would like to request your goodself to look into the matter and do the needful ....

                                    my dth no [protected] since installation on November29, 2010, I was recieved poor signal and cause told by service engineer it was due to side building that causes poor signal quality.after two months from February2011 Irecieves only few channel in good response.from May2011 it was stopped with showing error code B007&B001. It was not corrected calling several times at customer care.it was shifted on July20, 2011 with shifting charges vide receipt no E3619375 Rs300.00 and now again Iwas not able to see any channel, It was regularly disappear with vedeo and sound on all channel .This was about AIRTELL DTH who claims for quality in advertisement.
