Sub: Refer to concern listed on[protected] &[protected].

Dear Sir,

Regarding the above said concerns yesterday[protected] I got a call from Mr. Manoj (AIRTEL-DELHI)-[protected] at around 13:30hrs and collected all the details by phone.

He then called me up again within few minutes and assured that he had spoken to concern authoritie and the services will be activated in one & half hrs.

By 15:00hrs the Outgoing services were activated. Mr. Manoj confirmed the same at around 17:00hrs. Then few call were also made by me.

But today morning when I tried to make a call from the said SIM-[protected] again teh same message was received from automated system and the Outgoing calls are barred.

Is this the way services are rendered to consumers..? I hope AIRTEL is a tout company. Sure it will be confirmed by most of consumers.

The concerns listed on this complaint forum itself is an evidence for the same.

This is totally Unsatisfactory services...

If any compensation has to be claimed pls suggest me the way at the earliest.

    Airtel is a fraud company.

    1st issue; This is not the first time issue, I have faced number of issues like this, for ex;
    I got a message from LKD services and they themself detected Rs.10/- immediately.
    I called airtel and raised the issue they provided refund of Rs.8/- what about the remaining 2/-.
    even so i left it. That day evening i got the same message and they detected the same ammount again, i called them and shouted and told them to cancel all the services that are active in mu number and they provided Rs.10/- refund.

    2nd issue; They started detecting 1 rs daily, i dint notice it for a long period, when i noticed it i called them and raised the issue they told i have activated a service and thats the reason they are detecting daily rental.How this happened, last time itself i have canceled all the services.

    3rd issue; Actually I got call from airtel, I just attended the call and immediately disconnected when i came to know that is from airtel, next day when i checked my balance i lost Rs.15/- for the service that i have not activated.
    I called to customer care and told my issue and raised a complaint. They are not bothered about my issue and also they told they cant provide refund.

    This is what i noticed, without my knowledge i dont know how much they have taken from my balance account.
    I am not gona use any Airtel product nor gona recommend any one for airtel.
    I am gona tell this to every one I know who are all using Airtel and stop them from using airtel services.

    Don't use airtel sim/net/phone connection/any product of airtel, they will charge you unnecessarily and they wont provide refund also.

    Don't belive them, I remind you again.

    If you have any of airtel products please change them immediately.

    Be Aware, its your money that they are charging for doing nothing and that money didn't come from sky, you have gained it by your hard work,..etc..

    We have to dump them down, please join hands, since no one is asking they are doing like this.I don't know about other networks but please don't go for Airtel for anything.

    Airtel SUCKS.

    Please help me spread this information.

    Forward to all your contacts.

    If you/any of your friends/family members using airtel please tell them to change to another network as soon as possible.

    Airtel Prepaid — Extra charge on SMS

    I am being charged 1.50 rs to 2.00 rs per sms, which i must be charged only 1.00 rs. i have complained in gallery 3 times but no action has been taken on it...
    kindly take some action on it...
    i m also a airtel user.. one thing u must b aware of is that u r charged 1 rs per sms. now if the characters exceeds 164 characters in 1 sms, then it becomes 2nd sms and 2 rs are cut, although the sender and the receiver find it 1 continuous sms, it is infact 2 sms as the number of letter (including spaces) are more than 164... similarly, as the characters increases, sms no and rs increases

    Airtel — one rupee charge daily

    I am now days working at Mhow (Indore).Three times complain to your air tel live asesstent, first time he/she cancle the subscriptaion service for few days but again renewed this service and two times NO answer.
    Therefor, I am not recharging my Mobile, So please cancle this subscription and again not renewed.

    I'm currently very upset that I keep getting charged some 2-3 rupees per day for an unknown reason. I've been a cellphone user for a very long time and I know what I subscribe to. I am getting these jokes sent to me which I'm guessing is deducting my prepaid balance. Not only is it spamming up my inbox but it is charging me money. Please stop all these annoying messages and deducting money for whatever odd reason.

    dear sir i am customer of airtel post paid connection for last five years paying the bills regularly for last five years .for last three month i does not receive any bill so complaint to customer services so the send me itemised bill for mont of july on 11 aug 2010. i shocked to see that they are taking hidden charges in the name of sms others with video mode activation and charges are rs 176 rs which bill i had already before two days because i trust on airtel and due to busy schedule my services not hampered i pay the bills regularly. now the matter is that this type of hidden charges they are taking for last one year in the name of sms others but i does not come in observation. today i got the itemised bill after so many years come into observation. so kindly do the needfull and pl help to waiver off the hidden charges the company airtel had taken from last one year. thanking you .
    Dear One,

    Any service provider company now a days automatically activates a VAS and Airtel is leader in that. So it is advisable to check frequently i.e. once in a week whether they have activate any of the service or no. You can check it by dialing *121# and then check 'stop service'

    Airtel Prepaid — unnecessary detections

    I’m airtel subscriber on August 10, 2010 I have raised a request regarding amount detection(ticket no: [protected])I have made call more than 4 time so for I haven’t received any response form that side, again I called today they were given another complaint number [protected] without any explanations, so made a call to complaints dept as soon as they simple said we were detected because of internet activation but I didn’t use the internet while the detection happened and the mobile which I‘ve been used does not have the GPRS options .

    Yes Airtel is really fraud service.

    Initially they given attractive tariff plans, very low Booster packs. But now they slowly increased every booster pack amount.

    Not only booster and tariff, but also reduced talktime of every recharge.

    By giving sms balance they reduce talktime. it is commeon for those who already done sms booster recharge. Is it not fraudulant?

    they increased booster pack rates, by giving free sms, then why they charge for sms while doing top-ups?

    once upon a time a booster pack was Rs.97, tariff A-A:10 ps, other 50 ps, 5000 sms free with 3 months validity, now it s 195 with 10000 sms and 225 with 18000 sms.

    it is really network friends.

    dear friends think of all these issues and those complained against other problems over airtel.
    hey they have changed tat 195 plan too...so cheap they r...

    Airtel Prepaid — SMS charges detection

    Dear Sir,

    Today I have send some local sms but the charge of Re 1/- deducted from my main balance where I hv 10 local free SMS available.

    When I called to customer care and asking for contact with Customer representative, customar care provide some music and again deducted 0.50 paise from my balance.

    This is very wrong procedure to deduct balance from customers.

    Kindly look into the matter.

    Since 2 years Airtel is providing worst service. Whenever I recharge airtel were deducting 10 rs for some pack. After that I have complaint about the same & they credited but now I am frustrated please stop this kind of deduction. Kindly do not reply like I have activated any service pack of something like that. I didn’t activated any service. Now I am planning to switch my service provider.

    Airtel Prepaid Scheme — SMS DEDUCTION CHARGES

    In my Airtel Postpaid scheme, I am receiving
    LOVEPACKAGE SMS unwantedly and for
    that they are deducting Rs.5.00 once in five
    days without my concent.

    I am getting unwanted disturbances and mental
    worries due to this problem.

    Please someone can kindly look into this
    probelm and sort out the issue immediately.

    The Airtel is the worst service provider in the world. One day i saw my account had Rs.34.00 as balance and when i saw on next day morning it was Rs.29.00, Rs 5.00 gone. When i called the customer care, they told me i used Airtel Live to browsing but i am using mobile office which i paid Rs98.00. The further told me to send sms LIVE to 54321 to activate aritel live, its clearly misleading as it will just activate the Airtel live and when i send DLIVE to the same 54321 i got lot of options but none of them are related with deactivation. Since Its happening all the time, I am planning to move to Tata Doccomo which my Friend is using without getting any pain like this (He got Rs.10 back after the charged him without his knowledge). If the AIRTEL keep on doing this, they are going to loose their no.1 tag as service provider. Its clearly showing that Airtel is biggest loser after the Mobile portabality was introduced......

    i am Ramkumar my mobile number [protected]... yesterday i called to one airtel number [protected]...that call duration around 10 mint..but the call charges for that call is rs 3.60...



    as per my mobile plan...for Airtel to airtel only 10 paise...why you are taken that my much money from my number..



    same time i tried to reach your customer care center for last two days.... still their redirecting to some other numbers and services like *121#...



    i am using this number for more than 3 years...now a days i am getting more difficulty to reach your customer care..and getting services..your customer care peoples not responding properly.



    i am planing to move to some other network if your service continuous like this.

    Before two month i have plan to change my network and i given the request to 1900.. nextday i got a call from airtel and your airtel people said that. sir we are giving best offer to you..it will be very low chargeble..you can call Airtel to Airtel 10 paise and other mobile 30paise with one rupee daily rental..

    i accpted that i am not changed my network due to that plan...Now from july 2 onwords that plan is automatically changed to some other plan now i am in 30 paise plan..

    there is no intimation for this changes .. without my permission how your people can change my mobile number plan...same time i need the same offer for the AIRTEL COMMITTED period of 6 months...

    one more thing your customer care people said that ...the plan was removed from airtel..and their is no 10 paise scheme in airtel..now i checked with my friends their having same 10 paise plan..

    are your peoples are fooling me...????

    i tried to contact airtel customer care number from my prepaid ..its not connecting to your customer care...i tried from other number they said some technical issue it will solve by automatically...but when i am talking to you nodal officer .. he said that you can call to 198 or 121 only 5 times per month...???

    what s true...???? whethear its a technicall issue means why your nodal office given wrong information and making me fool...

    past 3 days i am tring to reach your customer care executive but still i am not able to do...

    what will be the final solution for this issue... i need my exsiting plan for committed period...

    airtel sucks consumer money through airtel live and mobile office service. best advice dont use this kind network, i will change to docomo.
    Airtel is the worst service provider for fixed line and broadband connections.
    I had a monthly plan of 699rupees but bill amount was 824rupees so why can't they add GST to their plan, but I consulted a branch workman he told me that the amount 699 was including GST so the rest are hidden taxes.
    Now a few weeks ago I changed my plan to 799rupees now the bill is 920rupees again the game of hidden charges.
    Airtel has played a huge scam over ous.

      FRAUD POSTPAID BILLING

      I , Arunkumar, one of the valued customers to AIRTEL had taken the connection bearing Mob.No [protected] five years above for Kerala. Inspite of my intimations to the customer care locally about the Billing descripencies, no initiations has not been so far taken place and I was forced to remit the bills since the day one I had connection.

      Since I am bearing the fraudulent bill, because of my exigency...

      Aitel provides number 121 to be dialed from landline. If the landline phone is not working then how can one contact without any landline number. This way airtel restricts customer to launch complaint against not working of landline. In a way this is harrassment to the customers taking services of airtel.

      My landline is not working now how can i contact airtel and tell them that we are suffering for last so many days. Will we get compensation for this ?

        HELP!!!!! !HELP!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!

        We are terrified and very very very scared to answer any phone calls as we receive many treat calls and abusive calls during the whole day and night.
        Also there are old grant parents who are very very SICK also there is a child with Polio who is under a lot of fear.

        We have gone to police station many times with no response and the say please avoid these calls.

        After some enquiry i have come to know there SIM cards are issued on wrong addresses by the Mobile operators without any verification.

          We (Me and my roommate) have booked a Airtel broadband IMPATIENCE 1299 plan on 25/09/2010.
          The Airtel executive N.MURALI(FSO CODE:DS1104035) called us repeatedly and convinced to provide the airtel broadband connection within 3 days.
          According to his information we are supposed to get the connection on 27/09/2010.So we issued a cheque 0f 3897/- on behalf of bharti airtel.
          The next day the cheque was encashed but we didn't get any communication either from Murali or airtel customer side.

          we tried to contact Murali but the way he communicated with us is very embarrassing.so i communicated with airtel customer care.
          but again the same thing happened and i got the next date for the broadband connection and the same process repeated for around 3 weeks.

          Finally they told me that there is some technical problem and they can't provide us airtel connection,so i asked them to refund the money.
          They lodged my request and replied to send back the cheque .But till now i haven't received any cheque.

          As we were communicated regarding the connection within 2-3 days,so we have disconnected our existing connection.
          Also as my money was blocked for such a long period i was not able to take any other connection by other internet providers.
          so for around 35 days we faced heavy losses without internet connection.


          Previously also we have faced the same situation with airtel and they returned our cheque but this time they told the same will not happen but infact this happened
          If Airtel will treat the customers in this way then how can we trust on its service.

          Still i haven't got my money and i suffered a heavy loss without internet connection from last 35 days.

          So i want immediate settlement regarding my losses incured.

            I am not at all satisfied with your equipment viz., DVR for the
            following reasons:
            1. I am not able to replay my recorded programs or record the programs

            Further I am not satisfied with your service as:
            2. I am not able to access your technical support
            3. No response to my complaint filed through E-mail
            4. I am not able register my complaint and get a complaint number

            Due to the unsatisfactory performance of the equipment and deficiency
            in service I an not satisfied with your DVR equipment.

            Hence I request you to take back your equipment and pay back my amount.

            You may comply with my request with in next 3 working days ie., by
            01st October, 2010

            If there is no response from you by 01/10/2010 I shall be constrained
            to lodge complaint with Consumer Court.

            You may treat this mail as a formal notice under law.

            Airtel DTH — Deficiency of service

            Dear Sir/Madam,

            This is to inform that my self Amit Kapoor, r/o H.NO.3025/2, 1ST Floor, Chuna Mandi, Paharganj, New Delhi-110055 had applied for DTH connection on 5-Sep-10 and also paid Rs.999/- thru credit card and the same was debited into my credit card A/C that day itself.

            As I did not want to avail this service (DTH-Airtel), the very next day i.e. on 6.9.2010, I personally informed Airtel-DTH Customer Service Centre for cancelling my request for DTH connection and also asked them to refund the money I had paid. I was assured by Airtel-DTH customer care executive that my request will be taken care of and my money will be refunded within next three days from 6/09/2010.But I neither got the refund nor anybody from Airtle-DTH customer service has showed up.

            On 9-Sep-2010, I again sent a reminder to the Airtel - DTH requesting for the refund but till date i did not get any response from Airtel - DTH.

            As this is matter of deficiency of Services which is causing me both mental harassment as well as taking up both time and money. So I am lodging this complaint and requesting you to kindly look into the matter and do the needful so that i can have my money back at the earliest and save from the harrasment .

            i am not satisfied with service, my customer id is [protected]. since 3 month i complaint when i reset my password, my reset password not received in mail id. company not able to short out this matter. also nodal office dept. not able to short out this matter. all exciutive not allow to talk with nodal officer mr. k. rao of maharashtra. m not happy with service. noe i have no alternative to throw the system if matter is not short out with in 2 or 3 days

              Hi, I am requesting AirTel to disconnect my landline form 27th Sept. 2010. Even after surrendering all instruments and making Bill Payments, my connection have not been disconnected till now (31st Oct. 2010). They haven't disconnected the line and keep me sending the new bill. My reference / Complaint Nos are :

              1219990 : dated : 27-sept-2010

              1247649 : dated : 23-oct-2010


              I don't know what to do, I am calling them daily and have even emailed them today on [protected]@airtel.in and care.[protected]@airtel.in about this and no action is been taken. Ever time they lie that I have confirmed that I don't want to disconnect My Landline. My Landline No is :[protected]. I can be contacted at [protected]@hotmail.com.

              Airtel Landlines — Disconnection

              my lls[protected] and 45058338 were once disconnected without any reason...i had no outstanding dues or any other issues...they simply disconnected the line...repeated queries with customer care, appellate etc provided no valid details.

              Now, when i wanted to shift my lines to another place in the same city...first they said that the number will be fully changed and new number will be given. When I pointed out that AIRTEL was all along promoting their ll sales by telling that the number will not change for shifting within the same city. In fact, at the time of selling their lines to me, they promised me this.

              after prolonged discussions, they agreed to keep the last four digits intact and effect the shifting. So far so good...

              And this morning when I dialled my LLs...the anouncement is " THIS NUMBER DOES NOT EXIST"...

              I had requested for disconnection of the above phone number on[protected]. Request number for disconnection informed by customer care service representative as 1245745. I was informed that disconnection shall be done with in seven days. On[protected], I talked to your customer care representative again and wanted to know why disconnection has not be done. He informed me first that there is no request with him. When I informed him that after receiving the request, I have received a few phone calls from Airtel for reasons of rejection. Then he connected me to some concerned representative, who informed me that as per record I have withdrawn my request. I retorted that back that I have not withdrawn my request. Your record is totally wrong. Then he gave me complaint number 39146710, which was also confirmed by SMS on my mobile phone number[protected]. It was informed that he will get back to me on[protected]. I told him that telephone should be disconnected immediately as per my request dated[protected] otherwise I will not responsible for payment beyond[protected]. Although[protected] has also passed, my telephone is not disconnected so far.



              I am informing the above facts for your information and record for needful action of disconnection of Phone from[protected].

              Dear Mr. Rakesh,

              Its really disappointing that even after 45 days of placing my request for disconnection, I am still writing emails to your delhi branch, calling cust. care, visiting IT park office in Chandigarh, no resolution has came up.

              I have been given a waiver on my bill and was asked to pay a final due of Rs. 242. I have paid FULL AMOUNT THAT WAS OUTSTANDING and have been requesting you guys to please disconnect my landline and provide me NOC with no dues remaining certificate, but even Incoming / Outgoing Calls have not been barded.

              Could you please explain why you guys are taking such a long time to disconnect my connection when I have paid all dues, surrendered my instruments etc ?

              Initially on 27-Sept-2010, I was told that disconnection process takes 7 days ? and now its already more than 45 Days . WHY ?

                I gave a complaint regarding plan migration on 29th of September. As per their executive description it is unlimited usage with 2 MBPS for 699 per month. As per the procedure they have to change the plan with in 4 days. But my plan was migrated on 15th October. Between these days whether the plans changed or not we don't know. Right now, they slapped 2080/- bill on my broadband connection. When I contact to the customer care department they were saying that I am in limited plan. They are even not responding on this issue.

                Airtel Broadband Connection — I am getting someone else's bills !!

                I am getting calls, messages from AIRTEL on my mobile for the broadband connection I DONT HAVE.!!! I dont have any AIRTEL broadband connection. I have already filed complaint in AIRTEL office but nothing happened. This is happening from past 4 months. Mismanagement to the core.

                I am getting all the recovery agent calls for this AIRTEL land line no. [protected] which is in the name of some person called Kiran Kumar. I dont know any such person.

                After clarifying to call center people multiple times also nothing has changed. Even now I get all the bill generation messages and calls.

                Please take a look at this and remove my mobile no. from that persons broadband connection contact details or else I will be forced to take a legal action.

                I am holding the Airtel Broadband Landline since last 6 Months, I have received the March Month Bill for Rs.-58/-, In the April Month Bill i was asked to Pay Rs. 1850/- instead of Rs.850/-. They informed me that you earlier chq. got bounced & after great deficulties I have got the chq. no. & Bank details, I noticed that the same was not related to me. The same was confirmed by airtel Accounts department and requested me to talk to billing department. Billing departments wants me to pay the full amout the same will be adjusted in next bill.

                I am Airtel broadband customer for last 3 months. I have taken impatient 799 plan which has 5GB free usage. First month bill was fine. However for 2nd and 3rd month (April/May) I was charged 400-500 extra quoting that I had used more than 5GB. In fact based on the details in my bill I see that I wasn't even online when majority of the large downloads happened.

                When I complained to Airtel, they promised to look into this. Yet after 1 week of so called "Investigation" they shamelessly sent an email to me indicating that I had used more than 5GB. This is a fraudulent company which doesn't care about its customers. Despite multiple calls/emails the issue is unresolved. I planning to take them to consumer court. Does someone have first hand experience in dealing with such bogus big brand companies?

                Nothing has been done to resolve the root cause - which is someone else misusing my connection to download. All I was told that it was indeed me who has crossed 5GB usage for last 2 months when I clearly mentioned that I wasn't even online at the time majority of large downloads happened - some of them as big as 1GB in one day!

                BTW I am still using default PPPoE password. So anyone who has my username and password can use my account by entering those details in the modem. When I purchased the modem, Airtel authorized agency which sold the Binatone modem to me showed me that he could establish connection even from him landline. So I am sure with no MAC binding whatsoever anyone else can also do the same.

                Despite all my tries I couldn''t find out a way to change my PPPoE password. Your NetXpert application fails to recognize the modem. I am shocked that you guys don't even publish a website where customer can login and change PPPoE password
                My primary concern about inaccurate billing is not resolved yet. In fact no progress has been made and no one at Airtel including nodal officer has bothered to respond to my complaint. The only response I got from airtel was call to explain that my own PPPoE Airtel password cannot be chosen.

                It is really shocking that I cannot choose my own password. What type of security policy is that!!! I am sure many more customers are being ripped apart like me due to fraudulent usage of our internet bandwidth by other people. Its utterly disgusting that you are marking the issue resolved even when absolutely zero progress has been made

                      I had taken Airtel prepaid Connection almost an year ago, somewhere around Sep'09.
                      My mobile No is - [protected]

                      The initial tariff plan was
                      STD call :- 1.50 Rs / min to all GSMs
                      Local Call :- 50 paise / min to all GSMs

                      Within 2 weeks of activation I got my plan changed to the following due to my excessive STD call usage
                      STD and Local Calls to Airtel Only :- 50 paise / min
                      STD and Local Calls to other GSMs :- 60 paise / min

                      Things were going smoothly until yesterday (30/10/2010) when I found that my STD call
                      was charged @ 1.50 Rs / min. To resolve this I called up the customer care today, it was
                      of not much help.

                      The point which I am trying to make out is "My tariff plan was changed and that too without my consent".
                      I have not lost any big amount but I am unhappy because of this unethical and corrupt practice and I am feeling cheated.

                      So, I request you to look into this issue and resolve it asap.

                        I m Mayur Patel i m using Airtel Prepaid connection no. [protected] located in gujarat( Vadodara ), Airtel activated caller tune and NationalNews Pack service in my phone without my knowledge. From around Rs.50/- his balance. I complained to Airtel customer service at 121 and 198. They deactivated caller tune and Nationalnews pack but were unable to explain to me how it got activated in the first place. After 5 Min this service got activated again and the Balance reduced. I called Airtel again to complain and they again couldnt explain to me how it got activated. They kept saying that we would have click some link and activated..when we dont even know that how does it click on this link. The customer support staff was extremely rude and said he doesnt know the answers to my questions and disconnected the phone. when i call again to customer care and then after no one can answer me. after some days same problem again on my connection they activated caller tune again. the money is not important but attitude of company and call center executive is i don't like and i want to wiver my all this money who claim company and deduct my Rs.75 /- around. i request to company call me and explain me all this things and wiver my money ..

I have not put any request for activate Hello Tune. It is Very shameful for the service provider (AIRTEL) that putting charges to their customers without any means or request.                                 I got the Airtel Dish installed on 27th Oct morning. 27th evening onwards i am not able to view the TV. I made a complaint on 28th morning ref # 4273551. I was told some one will visit by 12 noon. I took half a day leave and stayed at home. Till 12 no one turned up. I called the call centre again. They said the person will come and attend by 3.30 PM.
                                i waited till 3.30 extended by leave from half day to full day. No one turned up at around 5 i called they said by 5.45 some body will attend.

                                I waited till 6.30 PM No one turned up and i got a SMS from DTH that the issue is resolved. If not resolved call a mobile number. I called that number and informed them that without resolving my issue the call is closed. They asked me to contact one local # for my area i called that # it was switched off, then again called call centre they gave another # which was wrong. Then they said by 29th somebody will attend the call. On 29th morning again called

                                to reconfirm the technician arrival time, then this time i got a different call reference # 4286993 & 4283767. They said some one will attend on 30th Nov, so i went to office, by around 3.30 PM one person called me and asked for address etc. He wanted to come at 5.30 PM. As no one was available at that time asked him to come on 30th morning. i got an SMS in the evening telling the issue is resolved. Again i called the call centre they said some one will come FROM AIRTEL.

                                come to attend the complaint and on the way. Many people were calling me for asking the address and other details, everytime they are asking what is the problem etc. No one attended the call. At the time of writing the mail ie 30th Nov 22 Hrs. Now I REGRET TO TELL THAT I MADE A MISTAKE IN TAKING DTH I HAVE BEEN AIRTEL CUSTOMER AND I WAS ALWAYS GETTING GOOD SERVICE FROM AIRTEL FOR BROADBAND AND MOBILE. BASED ON THE PAST EXPERIENCE I WENT AHEAD WITH AIRTEL JUST FOR SERVICE SUPPORT WHEN SO MANY OTHER OPTIONS WERE AVAILABLE IN THE MARKET. NOW I AM NOT AT ALL INTERESTED IN THE AIRTEL CONNECTION, YOU MAY REFUND THE FULL 999 AMOUNT AND TAKE AWAY THE ITEMS SUPPLIED BY YOU.

                                WITHOUT ATTENDING THE COMPLAINT HOW YOUR TEAM IS CLOSING THE CALL AS RESOLVED.

                                Airtel DTH — NOT ATTENDING THE COMPLAINTS

                                I am very much fed up with the behaviour of the engineers regarding the old customers which are in their net after buying airtel dth connection.I am complaining regularly for three days for my set tp box. The complaint nos are 3806573 dated 10/09/2010, 3815012 dated 11/09/2010 and 3825953 dated 12/09/2010 but the engineers are closing the complaints at their end without contacting/rectifying the complaints to me .Their customer executives are giving time to attend the complaint in seconds also that it will be attended at so much hours so much minutes and so much seconds.
                                Dear Concerned Airtel customer Service team manager,
                                I am a new customer of your DTH service. My name is Ankit Agarwal ([protected]) customer ID [protected], on 16th Nov. my airtell DTH stopped working with no signals. i register a complain (ID 4579577) immediately with response that our problem will be resolved in 24 hours. after some time i receive a message that my problem is resolved, but nothing happened actually. Nobody come to attend that call even or no phone call to us to resolve it.
                                Since 17th Nov. till today 25th Nov. i am calling Airtel customer care no. regularly on daily basis and even talk to four different senior managers, but i receive the same reply that your problem will be resolved within 24 hours. Today i again receive a message that your problem is solved and contact us for any further problem. Again no body come no body called and the problem is still the same.
                                I dont know what happened to airtel brand in DTH? I am a customer or airtel landline, broadband and mobile, if this is their DTH service then no body will going to buy it. Do they think that if the customer pays in advance then it is stuck with them for life. I am seriously thinking of taking this matter to Consumer forum if not resolved within today. I AM SERIOSLY FEDUP WITH SUCH UNRESPONSIVE BEHAIVIOUR...

Before i left india i called on customer care and ask them to do so , but after 15 days when i received bill there was no billing like that. Complete amount was billed in to the bill , where as custody charges were half of that.

                                  I sent many mails but no good response, every time they are asking me to to pay the bill which I am not suppose to pay with out settlement, but they dnt want to understand the case , just sending already formatted mails are not going to help me.

                                  and on top of that every month they are adding late fee charges as well, I can keep calling on ISD to follow up on the issue. and I dnt want to keep any bill on my name as well, but it seems airtel is least interested in taking correct amount, they think they can charge any thing to customer and customer is bounded to pay all this ???

                                  Hi Rakesh i have written on the above mail id, waiting for your response.
                                  Its been so long I am trying to fix this issue with Airtel but still the loop is going on ... Please let me know when i ll get all this settled ? I paid amount 1300 to airtel on after that the bill amount till 26th Nov has to be waived off, but still no confirmation and new bill ia having all the mount. Now I am getting phone every day for bill payment ... Not Sure what should be the next step of this issue.

                                      I have a postpaid connection from Airtel. My address proofs and details were verified by the company and they took quite some time to activate my postpaid number. Actually I was using the same number since 3 years now, but got it converted from prepaid to postpaid now. Without any prior intimation they cut my service, when asked for a reason from customer care, I was informed that due to non compliance my number was blocked. I was asked to submit all my proofs once again to reactivate my account. In spite of my busy schedule, I found some time off my office to visit Airtel office (Had to struggle even to locate one) and enquired for activation. They had no clue as to why my number was deactivated. The agent (or executive) whoever contacted me for converting it to postpaid came into picture here and from then on the only response i could get was "by tomorrow it will be activated". Overall in the three years, Airtel's service was pretty much disappointing. Couldn't change my number because of professional reasons. Need number portability soon in India.

                                      Airtel Postpaid Connection — Barred my no.

                                      I Am using airtel postpaid connection from last two years and i am one of the premium customers with credit limit of INR 7000 +..

                                      and they generated my bill for December on 6th january with last due on 24th January and they barred my phone on 10th january saying for some bill due for may last year.. they just barred it without any information. and this is just any fake bill as i have clared all my bills on time..

                                      I don't understand how can a company like Airtel, play with their clients..
                                      I have taken airtel postpaid no from delhi. i am working in one of the office of ministry of defence .i have given my office address for billing .my office is located at palam road, now my connection has been debarred for outgoing calls saying address is not verified i donot understand as to how i can be responsible for that it is the job of the company to verify the adress. all document were submitted at the time of getting the connection. today i am getting the message to submit the document again why ? ? neither i have time nor patience to accept this arbitrary action . I am central government employee and i feel it is your company who is failing to verifying my address i request my calls may be restored immediately
                                      hi, i m very frastrate about your service, i was a prepaid users since last 4 year, before 15 days, i was convert my prepaid to postpaid, but i didnot thing, after postpaid i will face so much problem, i m working with nokia, my mobile is very important for me then my meal, i never switch off my mobile, for miss my call, but sudenly without any information, my outgoing is barred, i cant understand, what happend, then i made a call to customer care, i heard for some my documents problem, they barred my outgoing, and customer care executive told me to make a call to airtel executive, when i made a call to him, he was totally not reciving my call, his name is pradip, area rourkela, then i made a call to binay, sitting in jagjit electronics, after long try, he recived my call and tell me ur outgoing will be start after 15mins, but again when i was not getting my solution, again i made a call to him, he was totally not recived my call, for these two executive, i have all ready took decision to cancel my postpaid first, then my prepaid also, and i will go for voda fone, and one things i want to tell u, i m working with nokia, nokia come with airtel, but from tommorow, every day atleast i convert ur airtel customer to other network, b'cus 104+ guy's working with me, and i m asm of nokia, thanx, good luck
                                      airtel is going in hole. i[censored] want to save, then save, other wise that days will come no body will go for airtel. all airtel executive are useless. they only searching a murga, after that they are not taking any responsibility. i want to give your two executive mobile no. plz note and take serious action about them
