It is been about 2 months , I am sending mails to Airtel to keep my connection in safe custody as I have traveled out of india for some time. Before i left india i called on customer care and ask them to do so , but after 15 days when i received bill there was no billing like that. Complete amount was billed in to the bill , where as custody charges were half of that.
I sent many mails but no good response, every time they are asking me to to pay the bill which I am not suppose to pay with out settlement, but they dnt want to understand the case , just sending already formatted mails are not going to help me.
and on top of that every month they are adding late fee charges as well, I can keep calling on ISD to follow up on the issue. and I dnt want to keep any bill on my name as well, but it seems airtel is least interested in taking correct amount, they think they can charge any thing to customer and customer is bounded to pay all this ???

Airtel DTH — Deficiency of service
Dear Sir/Madam,This is to inform that my self Amit Kapoor, r/o H.NO.3025/2, 1ST Floor, Chuna Mandi, Paharganj, New Delhi-110055 had applied for DTH connection on 5-Sep-10 and also paid Rs.999/- thru credit card and the same was debited into my credit card A/C that day itself.
As I did not want to avail this service (DTH-Airtel), the very next day i.e. on 6.9.2010, I personally informed Airtel-DTH Customer Service Centre for cancelling my request for DTH connection and also asked them to refund the money I had paid. I was assured by Airtel-DTH customer care executive that my request will be taken care of and my money will be refunded within next three days from 6/09/2010.But I neither got the refund nor anybody from Airtle-DTH customer service has showed up.
On 9-Sep-2010, I again sent a reminder to the Airtel - DTH requesting for the refund but till date i did not get any response from Airtel - DTH.
As this is matter of deficiency of Services which is causing me both mental harassment as well as taking up both time and money. So I am lodging this complaint and requesting you to kindly look into the matter and do the needful so that i can have my money back at the earliest and save from the harrasment .
