respected sir/madam
my self nikhil vyas, im from akola dist, at maharashtra,
i have buy a airtel friends2 prepaid connection before 1 month, the number of that sim is [protected].
but from last 10 days my all the incoming calls are blocked. im not able to receive any call on my this number but i can use outgoing calls.
im able to call but not able to receive any call. when someone calls on my this number the recorded tape gets played as"this number is temprorily out of service"
i contacted with the customer care of the airtel friends prepaid, but their customer executives are not responding me properly and i felt that they are not intrested to solve my this problem.
then i went to airtel distributor of akola dist. for my this problem, distributor given me a very follish answer for my this problem, he said that" we have blocked your all incoming calls because you are not receiveng our addvertise calls" and this not an valid reason, it seems clear that he was also not intrested to solve my this problem.
so want to complaint against airtel prepaid services, their customer executives, their distributors at akola dist.
and i request you to please take an proper action for this and please take me out of my this problem.

Prepaid connection — Incoming calls problem

Dear Team,

I am a user of BSNL prepaid in Himachal pradesh. My no. is [protected]. From last 10 days its incoming calls are not avialable. But the outgoing calls are avilable. I have note down the complaint several times . But got no response from the customer care.

Its a very wourst experince with BSNL. Pls do the needfull to shoutout this problem..

I am chetan Wakude from Bangalore. I purchased a new airtel sim with number: [protected] but it is blocked from 8 days .I submitted document twice but my sim is blocked . Now i'm thinking to not use airtel sim.
Please reply for this.

    False promise.
    Airtel DTH customer care is closing complaints without solving them.
    Worst Airtel product.
    Worst customer care.
    I am having Airtel DTH connection( ID : [protected]). Nowadays I am not getting any signal so I called to customer care and briefed the problem. So he told me to do some basic sanity and correction steps. It didn't work. Finally he suggested me to book a engineer visit. I did the same on (5-Oct-2010). Since then I called them almost 5-6 time and every time I call they generate a new ticket and the worst part is when you tell them not to generate new ticket I wanna stick to old one they don't listen you at all. This way your complain remains always new and when you call again customer care ppl will say its one day old and expected resolve time is still left. This is the trick that you cann't have one day old complain. is not it gr8888888..... I guess Airtel is counting the performance of CSR blindly by no of complains he close or open. One of CSR(customer service representative) told me backend team closed the complain saying it is resolved. Thus both CSR and backend team of Airtel DTH is doing gr8 job to close all open issues. today is 10-Oct-2010 and issue is still on. Those guys tells all false promises and facts.
    Initially when I was planning to buy DTH connection I choose Airtel because of good will. I thought after sale services of airtel will be better same like other products like mobile and broadband. DTH is no near to those. I guess other cheaper player of DTH is right choice compare to airtel. Airtel DTH sucks. Those who are planning to get DTH stay away from Airtel. All the best.

      Dear Sir,

      I am Capt R Chandra Shekar and I have subscribed Airtel Digital TV DTH Cust ID No ([protected]) services a year ago. I have subscribed a 170/- PM package which suited my requirement. A couple of weeks back i got a call from Airtel Digital TV network, they informed that they are offering free service of some (5-8) channels till 30 Sep 2010 and if i am interested then i can subscribe these channels.

      The Airtel Digital TV without informing me has subscribed these channels after 30th Sep. when i came to know this last week i called the customer care to clarify. The airtel cust care executive is not able to explain why they have subscribed Rs 230/- PM package without my permission and they are not willing to revert back to Rs 170/- PM package and the are info me that they will be able to do after a week, i had called the cust care many times to address my problems, but they are reluctant to change my package and they give lame excueses and keep disconnecting my call or put me on hold for hours to gether.

      I asked the cust care executuive to give the complaint No they are not willing to give any complaint Nos also.

      as on date my package is not changed and the service provider is also not bothered call me and tell the progress on my complaint. I have atleast the time and technlogy to bring my complains to you, but they are many citizens who does not know how these people are DUPING them.

      May i request you to initiate strict action against Airtel Digital TV network and put in place strict rules so that in future ordinary citizens do not suffer.

        Sir,

        I am using Airtel prepaid from 2003 onwards and now we all our family members are possessing FIVE airtel numbers. In our area (KALPAKKAM) earlier signal was very much good. Because of that we have got one by one (total Five pre-paid sims) airtel pre-paid sims to avail add-on and other facilities.

        For the past 10 months we are experiencing about poor signal. In this connection, I have made complaints to Chennai Nodal authority and Tamilnadu Appellate authority etc. Their reply was simple. The signal has been verified and it is good, PL TRY WITH OTHER HANDSET. The reply irritates to us. We have all brands of costly mobiles (NOKIA, SAMSUNG, SONY, ORION). How they can simply say to change the hand set.

        We are ready to buy the hand sets provided by airtel which captures full signal in my residence. My budget is upto 10,000 per set. Will Airtel give me a handset to me with full signal???????

        In this connection, I would like to move to Consumer court. If you help me by guiding me, how to proceed to consumer court.

        We would like to inform airtel that the new tower opened in Vazhayoor,malappuram ,kerala is not finding any use to customers within 2-3 km.so i request you to do the needfull as soon as possible

        We "The Hi-Rise Homes Society” residents facing acute problem related to Aitel signal. This is a gated community and located in Nizampet village. This colony is one year +old and since we joined that colony we are getting poor connectivity problem where Airtel signal is absolutely "ZERO". That mean when we are coming back to home, we are just disconnected from others. We all registered many complaints so far and each time we do so, customer executive gives us SLA of 7-15 days and assures that the problem will be resolved within 7-15 days. But, so far, it never happened and we are suffering for last one and half year. We are helpless and, now, the only resort for us to change the service provider
        i have been using airtel connection since 5 years.
        my signal is so poor that everytime i have to call again .i tried changing to best hand sets. i am staying in 9th floor, at Aundh, Pune, yet the connection isbad. surprisingly the mobile tower is nearby, still i get bad connectivity and poor clearity.

        i feel like changing to better telecom companies like idea. but its difficult to change old number since many people know it.
        please take care of my complaint
        I live in the Boat club Road area in Chennai. The airtel signal is extremely poor, and at times zero. I know a lot of people who are shifting to other service providers for this reason. Airtel would be well served to address this issue ASAP.

        I have used Air tel Postpaid Connection past three years.This connection belongs to S RM Mineral water pvt ltd.Ch-67.We had CUG more then 20 connection in the same network.In our office area very poor signal.Initially they provided one antenna in our campus.It is working properly in the first six months.After that the antenna was not working properly.Lot of time I complained through by email & phone also to customer care.But they not responding the complaints and not send any reply still.Please do the necessary action to them and solved our problem

        AirTel — POOR SIGNAL

        I am customer of airtel from last 5 years now iam facing a lot of problems on this net work. The signle not come to inner of the house the phone ringing only at the time of outdoor only.
        The Airtel signal at my place in sector 44-A, Chandigarh is so very weak that the calls drops often & if someone is trying to call from outisde it always says that the customer is outside the limit and the call is unreachable. We have around 4 mobile connections with Airtel and are harassed by this problem time and again.

        Since few weeks I am facing tremendous difficulties while communicating with others for poor signals and call droppings...please take necessary actions or I would be compelled to terminate my corporate postpaid connection of [protected] and take service from other mobile operators.

        We Use 15 CUG numbers But here we have signal problem. I complained many times they said provide SIGNAL BOOSTER but they didnt give any proper response for that. So make a action for that and give better service otherwise close your services first

          Stop Automatic Renewal on mobile

          I keep getting text message of automatic renewal of Airtel Games Club. They are deducting money without my authorisation. I have never joined any kind of games club in the past. I would immediately like this kind of harrasment to stop. My mobile number is [protected]....

          I am poplin chandra das purchased a airtel digital tv on 17 august 2010.my Custmer ID NO< is [protected] When I purchased the product installation was free . One person came to install the antennae and started to the wall . He has driil my wall ten to twelve but he has no basic idea what to put in the hole to fix the antennae .After trying two hours he fix the antennae in a bamboo.He told me that he will come next day to fix the .But till noww he has not turn up to fix the antennae . Since the antennae was fix in a bammboo the signal strength frequently fluctuate and I have to adjust it again and again.I have contacted to the customer care of airtel digital tv the gave me two, tree compleint number but no result has been found .I also contact to my airtel digital tv dealer to rectify the same , they also told me that will send one person to fix the antennae. from 02 october to 08 october continuously I contact but no result has been found from airtel digital .


          In that case getting no other option but to loadge a complaint againt airtel digital tv and also the dealer and hope you will take proper action against the above mentioned cheater so that people will trust the consumer court as everyday ther are too many advertisement of cosumer court.

            AIRTEL UNWANTED SUBSCRIPTION — 55381 service

            i'm getting unwanted subscription from 55381 called dating tips. I'm being charged 1Rs/day n I'm unable to unsubscribe it.

            I had recently used the above service for getting a "one liner" at a time but it subscribed a month long service without my permission. When I tried to talk to my regional customer care executive, they did not receive my call. My phone number is [protected] and I want all such trash services which are subscribed to be me to be terminated at once.
            I also want to convey you the message that you must incorporate such informations like subscribing and un -subscribing services like above on your website.Also, your poor and costly customer care service ( unlike the other customer care services which are free) presents your unhealthy attitude towards existing customers needs

              I recharged my Karnataka airtel for 200/- in Delhion 8th Oct 2010 at 8:07 PM. The transaction ID is:[protected]. My telephone number is [protected].However to my surprise only Rs 1 talktime was credited to my account. I tried The karnataka helpline [protected] for resolution but when the call actually reached the customer care executive, the line was cut repeatedly.

              It is sad but the system does not deliver and there is gross deficiency in service and unnecessary wastage of precious time and energey. Does airtel really care about such issues?

              Airtel Karnataka — airtel online internet

              i am using airtel for my contacts, also using this for unlimited free browsing Internet since 9 months...but from yesterday this airtel online service is banged/deactivated by company.message packages are also becoming very costly and short validity now a days...please notice this and feel us good

              Airtel Karnataka — Bogus lottery prize messages

              On airtel Karnataka SIM numbers, me and my family members have received 3 messages this week claiming that we have won 1 Million Pounds through some lottery and we have to give address and details to claim it. I know this is sent by a network of fraudsters who extract money saying that they need money to transfer money, to open account etc.

              I am sure so many ignorant and gullible people will lose money to these thugs. It comes from a SMS server with name "TA-XXXX". I request Airtel to put a control on such fake messages and start advising their subscribers about such frauds.

              AirTel — Talk Time not credited

              I have recharged my no. [protected] from icici internet banking...amount of 50 rs is debited from my account.......but the talktime is not credited to my mobile number.......i got the message from 555555 that number got recharged with 50 rs but talktime is not credited to my mobile number........0 rs is my talktime value after recharging........

                Hello sir, My mobile num is [protected].Last day I received one call(Ruman from Banglore) to submit documents for converting my num to prepaid.But they are not taking my documents....
                They(Vijayawada) are saying you should use one year to migrate for prepaid....
                What shall I do know ????
                Hi.Am a airtel customer and had takan a VIP number paying 55000 from pune.got it in my name and converted the same number in postpaid in my name ....There was a dispute for 2 months as the incomming calls were barred .After two months they realised it was a switch number but after 20 complaints they got the incomming activated ...Now am not satisfied with the network as the calls are getting dropped...I requested them to convert the number to prepaid again and i will pay the outstanding ...They are denying the same saying that if you take a number which is worth 50000 to transfer it tyo preapid you will again have to pay the charge which is not the case with any other network ...that means each time you transfer your number from pre to post or post to pre you pay 50000 rs......can someone help me to transfer the number to prepaid ....

                  Dear Sir,
                  I Kamal kumar Saraf having Airtel Mobile no.[protected] received the false & inflated bill.In this bill they have charged for GPRS & other false charges. I want to clearify that these services has not been used by me,as I dont't required by me.Even this will work on my handset or not I don't know.I am not satisfy from the explanation given by Customer Care, they simply try to avoid the customer complain & simply say that all charges will have to be paid by me. I had lodged a complian earlier, but I have not received any reply.
                  Now the due date for payment is coming , I am in a mess what I will do.
                  Kindly look after this matter at urgent basis.

                    I am take a new airtel broadband connection dated on 04/10/2010, airtel against her sales team are came on my home and he will take our all documents and payment also, and he told me next the her engineers are came and install the internet connection, but any body are not came, now when i call to Airtel Sales department to Mr. Ahmed, on this number[protected], then he told me your area are restricted so you have 3 months extra amount submit in airtel then your internet are installed, but i am say to him, i am not intersted to this services, pleae refund my documents and payment also, then he told me, your payment are submit in airtel now when he ready the cheque then he send me the cheque on my adrress, when i asked to him how much day taken this procedure, then he told me he also don't know when he send this cheque, till dated installing are not done.

                    i talk to always airtel call centre, nodal office, but any person are not give me responce.

                    and no received any phone calls from airtel end.

                      Sir, I have been using airtel for nearly four years and my number is [protected]. but in recent days the customer care and service is not good. Last july month i recharged with special booster pack for Rs.195. And it valid for four months upto to Nov 4th. But on Oct 3rd my sms amount in the pack has been bared. When asked to customer care they told your pack has been fully utilized by you so the count is zero in your sms amount. Then on Oct 7th when checking my sms balance the same old sms amount has been activated. When asked to customer care they told that the mistake of airtel side that they didnt extend the sms amount for the promo month.. and sms amount detected for the four days ll be added to sms amount but not in main account. For the three days the sms amount is detected from my main account. Following are the compliant numbers on oct 7: [protected], [protected] and 93.                         i am using an airtel prepaid sim with mobile no. [protected] and on last saturday 7.6.08 at around 10.30 pm my mobile got switched off. and when switched on the phone indicates that "sim rejected".

                        I have already posted my complaint with your customer care the next day itself but i didnot get any service saying that sunday is an holiday.

                        But on monday i contacted with my area office at karamana, but they directed me to jagathy, then to pattom and atlast to kuravankonam at thiruvananthapuram, kerala.

                        Till now i have not recieved any service but they have asked me to take a duplicate sim worth rs 150/- . For a fault that was not occured from my hands why should i pay for it. and when i enquired the customer manager replied that they can`t give any assurity that even if i take a duplicate sim that this error may not occur.

                        Is this the way to reply a customer, do u think that this is the way to behave.why should i use your network only when other services available.

                        Since my sim caries a validy of around one and a half years and have valid talktime i insist on my sim.my network is been on hold for 4 days by now including today.

                        Your customer service is not at all satisfactory and they no one knows what should be done directing the customers to other places to throw the headache from their heads.

                        hope for good service still makes me patient since i am airtel user for a long time.

                        I am ur mobile customer since last one year as pre-paid consumer. Recently I had changed the plan as postpaid and paid one year monthly rentals for Mob No [protected] in Meerut (U.P). But ur verifying agents are insufficient knowledge of meerut canontment and do nto verified me. I had told ur veryfing agent come to a particular location and i will pick u and show my residence as well as my working place invain they do not agree and they are disqualifying me and my mobile sim is showing registration failed frequently. I had contacted the mobile office where i had changed my plant restroed the same frequently. Now I am not happy with ur services as i am now disconnected from network and communication as my right to cunsmer o[censored]r network mobile services.                         I bought an airtel prepaid sim numbered[protected]H30CS1007 and phone no as "[protected]" on 6th october 2010 un the name of Sadaf Khan D/o Mr. Mohammad Muzammil Khan R/o 116 vikas puri lisari gate,meerut-250002, uttar pradesh from the infosys campus of mysore with my present address at Infosys Technologies limited,Hebbal Electronics city,Hootagalli,mysore-570018.

                        As we are student here couldn't receive your tele communications call because we were not aware of any such norms and got my both incoming and outgoing barred. After calling customer care almost 20 times somehow got my outgoing in 10days. Also in between my outgoing was barred I re submitted my documents(1 passport size photo,1 photocopy of passport,1 airtel form) on 10th jan 2011.
                        and Now you people have rejected my sim registration citing reasons as I didnt picked up your call. Didn't I validated my identity whenever I called customer care.

                        I got my sim invalid on 21 jan 2011 and got my phone recharged on 20th jan. It was having 263 minutes of STD calling and a net recharge. If you people dont restart my sim atleast give my money back.

I got enquiry from Airtel to activate my sim.that time working noramally.After 2 months my sim is showing INVALID SIM. I called customer care 121 to solve this problem. Airtel executives mentioned that my document is not matching, u must handover the document to the nearer of Airtel showroom that is in Chrompet. As per their request I kindly resubmitted the same documents once more, they have given a number LCS-8 and they orally said your sim will activate after 48 hrs. My complaint dated is 31/10/2111.they said but my complaint registered next day that is dated 1/11/2011. Still my sim card is in invalid condition.I called to customer care they vomitting same complaint your document is not matching.I got a number from customer care which is in chromepet No.[protected] concern number is not responsing the call. I tried infinitetime and answering we are not response to this you just call Headoffice.                             We are facing coverage problem for Airtel mobile Phone in my area .This area very much within city limts and i have logged complaint with Airtel 20 days back with complaint number 33944098.But even after so many follow ups,no resolution given bu Airtel.I called customer care several time but no luck on resolution.I think as per TRAI regulation all mobile provider should provide coverage across india.

                            We are also facing the same issue and all i have got is crap from airtel, i dint see any respite coming to us for atleast a month or 2. I am staying in TC palaya, KR Puram and have absolutely 0 signal in my apartment. My mobile is like a landline permanently placed in the balcony to get signal..

                            Airtel IS PATHETIC, AND ITS CUSTOMER SERVICE IS WORST. i have been using Aitel from the time i started using mobile phone. But have never experienced such pathetic customer service.
                            I am using Airtel postpaid under Dell CUG plan. i had visited malaysia in the month of october from 5/10/2011 - 12/10/2011 and these people billed me for 2500... is that a joke. Also when i was in bangalore form 12/10/2011 - 3/11/2011 in bangalore, they have billed me for 7000/- where in my credit limit is just 3500/-. How can that be possible. And usually if my bill amount reaches to 2000/- i start getting notifications, but this time no notification was sent. other days if i exceed 3500 by even 500/ - they barr my phone connection, but this time i had to call airtel customer service on 4/11/2011 to check on my bill> after several conversation with several managers, still no resolution has been provided and they have barred my ph #... utter customer service. NEVER USE AIRTEL

                              I had a problem a week back which had never happend before. I sent an sms to one person without choosing multiple sending options but the same sms went to 3 different people to whom i have never sent any smses before. When i contacted the handest company they said it was the problem from the service provider's end. I was told that if the sim is more than 3-4 years old then it would be advisable to get a duplicate sim.
                              I went to the Kammanahalli Circle Airtel Office, Bangalore, and told them about my problem on 5th Oct 2010 and the airtel employee (sorry, i dont know anybody's name) who is in charge of the bill payment counter said that i would be charged 25/- and an id proof to get a duplicate sim.I know of my friend who has got a free duplicate sim from her service provider and was under the impression that this is supposed to be free too. Today afternoon when i went there with an id proof to get the duplicate sim i was asked a few questions and after i filled in the form the guy at the pre paid counter says it is 50/-. I told him that the guy at the bill payment counter told me that it was only 25/- just a cpl of days back in 2 days time it has increased to 50 so if i come after 2 more days it would be 75 ?
                              And when i told him that there were service providers giving duplicate sim for free he had the cheek to talk back to a customer. He tells me "If some one else is givng it for free then go and get the sim from there".
                              I am shocked at the way your employees at Airtel talks back to a customer so rudely. When there are so many options available these days with better plans from so many service providers why should i stick on with a company that does not know how to treat their customers with respect?
                              I have been in the customer support profession myself and know how to handle unhappy customers. I am terribly upset with the way i was spoken to. Then the man from the bill payment tells the man at the pre paid counter to take 25 from me and send me away like he was doing me some favour. I have not got any bill for this. I fail to understand if something is really charged and the price is 50 then how did they agree to give it to me for 25? Then why did he say it was 25 when i went there 2 days back? My mobile number is [protected].
                              I hope some action would be taken about my complaint and will look forward to hear from you very soon on this.

                              He is answering as if they are providing the facilities freely.
                              This approach should have an end.
                              They should be given a harsh punishment, since their duty is customer satisfaction.

                                Let me introduce myself as one of the Airtel customers. My name is S. Srinivas, resident of Hyderabad. I am a gazetted government employee of state government of Andhra Pradesh. It is to submit that I have pre-paid mobile connection from Airtel Mobile service provider with mobile contact number [protected].
                                From about 2-3 months, I am frequently getting display message as "Welcome to mCheck on Airtel. Get Spl.offers.pay bills, recharge&transfer money from your mobile. Click OK to register(free)". When ever, I select "NO" option, signal to my mobile is being cut by the AIRTEL service provider.
                                The above action is getting repeated very often, i.e. for about more than 10 times in an hour, which is very irritating. When ever I am on phone conversation with officers, friends, relatives etc. this action is hurting as the those who are in conversation with me are getting irritated which leads to misunderstand that, I cut the conversation in the middle.
                                I request the authorities to please issue necessary instructions to the AIRTEL service provider not to repeat the said action to my mobile number [protected].

                                  I have been using Airtel broadband service for past 4 years. Recently I was facing some problem with the connection. It was diagnosed by Airtel guy that there is a problem in modem (beetal 220 bx) provided by Airtel. So the modem was replaced with some another old modem. Now the modem is totally dead i.e. not at all working. When complaint about the same, shocked to hear that, policy has been changed by Airtel all of a sudden and that they will not replace faulty modem if you are a year old customer. I am totally confused, when I took the connection there was no such policy, how can Airtel apply some weird policy in between without even informing your customer. If they have told me about such policy before I would probably have not opted for their service.
                                  This is not at all accepted to me.

                                    Dear Sir / Madam,

                                    I am using Airtel Prepaid connection for my cell phone from the past 5-6 years. At the time of taking he connection i had submitted all the documents. Yesturday i had got a message asking me to submit the documents ID Proof and Address Proof with a passport size photocopy and fill a new prepaid application. I called the customer care and the executive informed me to submit the documents to the nearest Airtel office. And later in the evening my outgoing calls were disconnected without any intimation. When I tried to call, it directly went to the recorded voice with brefing to submit the documents and asked me to press 1 to confirm that I submit the documents within 3 days. After pressing 1 the voice told that the outgoing calls will be resumed within one and half hour. But it was resumed sometime in the early hours.

                                    As per his instructions I had gone to the 3rd Block Airtel office to submit the documents today, 7th October 2010. After standing in a queue for nearly 20 minutes, the lady addressed herself has Sowmya took the application with the attached documents. I had give my PAN Card as my Identity Proof and Electricity Bill for Address Proof. She refused to take the Electricity bill as Address Proof as the Bill was in my Father’s name. I told that I don’t have any address proof in my name, but in my PAN Card My father’s name is also indicated. She refused to take the form.

                                    I told her that I should speak to the Manager or any one Incharg, she showed finger to the lady sitting next to her who was handling the postpaid customers. She also told the same thing as she was sitting next to her.

                                    Later I called the customer care No.[protected] and spoke to one Mr.Sheriff and told that I need to load a complaint and what is the procedure. He asked me what was the problem and I briefed him the above. He told he will connect to the supervisor, I asked the name of the supervisor, but he told that he will speak to me. After waiting for 12 minutes the line got disconnected.

                                    They are intimating that the Karnataka Government has made a rule to collect the documents once again, when asked for the notification, they didn’t had answer for it.

                                    I am using this cell No. for the past 5-6 year and now I cannot change it as my No. are circulated to my Friends and our Company’s customer.

                                    Please let me know how to proceed further.
