But these sites are opening thro proxy.

    Hi,

    I am using a corporate postpaid connection([protected]) from last 2 months and also paid two months bill. While giving the connection the airtel people did not ask for anything except my company (HP-Bangalore) id proof,photo and passport. After taking the connection I moved to my relative house and staying there from June onwards. One day some body from airtel called me and asked for address proof, but I have only airtel land line connection in my name in Bangalore and also I have account in Bangalore Citibank. Even I also offered them hr letter for address proof.
    Suddenly my connection got locked from last week which I can not bear this anymore as you could understand the mobile is used for business/personal purpose.

    So my request to you kindly consider your time to cancel my postpaid airtel number ([protected]) because I would go for some different connection which will suite me.

    Note:I am really unhappy with Bharti Airtel service. I would definitely ask my hr whether you people are not ready to serve us.

      Hi,

      My Post paid connection no [protected] got blocked, asking for resubmition for the documents, this connection is provided by my company.
      I submitted all my documents, my connection got activated once and got deactivated again and sked for undertaking document.
      Even after 2days after submittion of this document at Ameetpet, Hyderabad office to Vanitha, no progress in activation.
      For submitting each document, I need to travel for 2 hours from my work location, this is causing lot trouble for me.
      I request to activate my connection with out causing trouble to me, I can provide all the relevent documents if they reach my office instead of me travelling for each individual documents.

      I purchased a new connection from my vendor(Sai telecom, Paud Road, Pune) on 2nd july 2008 for Rs 350/-.
      My services were deactivated within the week of purchase because my documents could not reach them by that time.I did receive a notification message regarding the submission of documents.But straightaway i went to my vendor.He talked to the Airtel people, got my no. activated and told me that my documents will reach them within a day or two and i will soon recieve a call from airtel for the verification of my documents.But i didnt recieve any such call and my services were deactivated again.Then i went back to my vendor.He again talked to the Airtel Customer care, confirmed the submission of documents and somehow managed to activate my no. again.
      Finally, on 28th july 2008 they deactivated my no. permanantly which had a talktime of around 500/- rs and that too without notifying me.
      Now as per the vicarious liability, master is liable for the acts done by the servant.So, according to me the consumer can sue the company under the Act - Consumer Protection ACT 1986
      Compensation - Law of TORTS

      Dear Sir,

      I am lodging compliant against discontnuing land line service of phone no.[protected], from your end and that too without any prior notice to me. My telephone is lying idle foe last 20 days, resulting in so amny inconvineiances to me.
      I have try at my best to know the reasons for non-restoration of landline connectivity at my above cited phone no. but still I have not been communicated any intimation in this regard.

      It is requested to please look into the matter and make an early arrangement to restore landline connectivity at my phone so as to avoid further inconvineiance to me.

      I hope for beeter cooperation from your end.

        06/07/2010 I have a problem with my Airtel DTH. I have been calling d customer care several times (i.e. 18 times for ur knowledge), still i could not find a solution for it .Even when i call d customercare person they r asking me hold it and after sometime they r disconnecting d call .I have the excutive name Mr. Aravind & Mr. Sumanth & Ms.Nancy &so on. Whether i just want 2 know can u rectify my problem r what do i need to do. please clarify d same 4rm ur end. I think customer care persons are der to satisy d customer satisfactions. I dont find dat service with u. Im sending dis bcoz im not getting a solution from d customer servicce, so i expect a feedback from d feedback team. I want a solution at d earliest. pls do the needful in order to proceed further.

          I have had an Airtel broadband connection ([protected]) in Mumbai for over a year. On June 14, 2010, the net stopped working at exactly 10am. Ever since, I have called and complained many times, but till date, all I have received is emails telling me what a great company Airtel is, and how they are the best in the world when it comes to customer care. My net is still not working, and they have sent me a bill for the entire month today. The bill clearly shows that there has been absolutely no activity in my account after 10am on June 14, 2010. Even today, Airtel is claiming my net will start working in 48 hours. What should I do?

          I am a stock-broker, and I am doing an online MBA from Australia. I cannot work without internet. I have suffered huge losses and mental agony because of Airtel's careless attitude. They should be penalised heavily for their unprofessional and uncaring attitude!

            I WANTED TO CHANGE MY BROADBAND CONNECTION TO MY FRIEND'S NAME. SO I ASKED THE PERSON WHO COMES AND COLLECTS THE PAYMENT. HE SAID THAT THERE IS NO WAY OF CHANGING THE NAME. BUT WHEN I CALLED THE CUSTOMER CARE THEY SAID ITS POSSIBLE. SO I'M CONFUSED. I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHETHER IT'S POSSIBLE TO CHANGE OR NOT. IF SO PLEASE SAY ME WHAT THE PROCEDURE IS. VERY URGENT....

            My Customer ID is [protected] and I logged call on 09/07/2010 (call no[protected] at 10:00 AM. I was comitted that it will be resolved by 14:00. No one visited home, nor any one contacted. I again Contact at 14:00 on 12150 (customer care), then i was comitted it will be done within 1 hour. After One hour again i contacted 12150 (customer care), and i was comitted to wait till 18:00. after 18:00, I lost my patience and burst on the customer care person, as he was not ready to share his escalation matrix, and again was asking me to wait till next day morning.

            Such type of false comittments and ir-responsible services were never expected from Airtel. I am starting thinking to change the DTH services provider, once my advance payment is completed.

            I would suggest you all to not to go for Airtel DTH and if you are opting for this, forget for good services.

            My experiance is very bad till now and i would like that you should not face the similar experiance..

            Yes.. its fact...worst service provider in DTH..
            i am also getting same type of response. I talked with Riaz and Naina on Airtel customer care. They put me on hold for 30 min and said your packaged is refreshed. But till the time no solution. It is more than one and half month to fight with Airtel DTH customer care but no response and solution. This is the ever worst expience which i faced. I will never recomened to anyone to purchase/buy Airtel DTH. Eventhough it should be very shameful to company that there customer care co-ordinatore(Riaz) hezitate to share the customercare mail id. I can get it from any where because world is open. I was surprise that they donot want to share the cutomer care mail id. Eventhough it is more than 2 weeks to send same complaint to customer care mail id but no response. Really it is very pathatic situation that i am not able to see channels eventhough i paid full package amount in advance. my airtel customer ID is [protected].
            Airtel DTH customer care worst, they are the and lousey fellows...

            My customer ID is - [protected], I have connection issue from last 4days and tried to call several times to Ccare no response, [protected] number never works and 12150 always take minimum 8-9 minuets to connect to CC person.

            Even we send sms to "HELP" 54325, no one call us.

            Its 5th day I don`t have connectivity, wast of money rental.
            Every evening when I return home I start callin Airtel CC and loosing patience then I will show the temper on family members. Because of airtel, my family members are getting effected.

            I wanna meet the owner of Airtel and KICK HIS for haveing sucha lousy team and employees...
            Hahahaha - "Kick his indeed".

            What I have found deplorable is the complete lack of process-flow knowledge in the people manning AirTel's INDIAN call center (yes highlight INDIAN because domestic call centers SUCK big time - why do u think they are outsourcing menial jobs in droves to INDIA? Wholesale cheap labor - 1 CC exec in any Civilized country gets paid, has resource spent on training, and given amenities that are to 4-5 CC execs in countries like India - So u can do the Math n figure out why INDIAN domestic call centers like AirTel are so Pathetic)

            * The IVR wait time to connecting to an Exec takes inordinately long. Why? NEVER believe the "Technical reasons" excuses the floor manager will give u - they just have 5 people paid 5 people's salaries but doing 10 peoples' workload - means delays, dropped calls, and hapless service for you & me)

            * The Main menu asks u to choose menu language as English. Now obviously if I select to be guided in English, not the IVR but also through to human contact - is common sense right? Not so at AirTel. Here I encounter a local South Indian guy ( I'm in Bangalore presently) trying - would u believe it - to express himself in HINDI. Now I'm from Delhi and I speak fluent Hindi. Even then - A disastrous attempt later, I ask to be transfered to an English speaking chap. He mumbles out the fact that he indeed is The Man.
            Again - I ended up yelling like a Primary school teacher trying to make a retarded toddler understand the reason why they have interfaced. Shockingly inadequate - he couldn't figure what the hell was going on - though I broke down sentences, used the simplest words I know, and repeated and summarized my complaint a dozen times.
            WHY? Obviously - INDIAN call centers spend a fraction of the funds allocated to them to HIRE and TRAIN competent resources. Do they care about the nightmare Customers have to live through? Nope. They just wanna show how much money they saved per "Cost Center".

            * Asked to be transfered to someone who can speak "Better" English - I find myself asked to hold - Soft skills training @ AirTel seems an unknown concept - The background spells bedlam - I can hear some Supervisor bellowing like a bloody Buffalo at his frightened, disoriented, untrained herd of Lambs - SERIOUSLY, no kidding. Then I was told I am on hold and they were "sorry for OUR inconvenience" (the chap who writes their process script deserves an Award, really). Then there was complete silence. I assumed that meant 'Hold'. After 2 minutes I realised I was hung up on.

            * Did I surrender? No Way. Called right back, meandered through the brain-numbing IVR drone and the AirTel ditty blaring like a truck horn through my earpiece. Punched in my Cust ID # again (They always ask u to repeat it at least 5 times on the actual call - baffles me as to why I need to punch the darn thing on the IVR at all)
            Anyway - Through to Mr South India trying out his Hindi for the first time ever. Fail. Transfer to English speaker? Miraculous Transformation of Mr South Yindia Trying To Yell Yem Yen Yo Vaayee my poor little Complaint to linguistic butchery. This time I FIRMLY asked to not be put on hold - and transfered to a Manager who can Speak English. "Oh But Saar Yaayi Yaam Sbeeging Yin Yeenglees No Saar". I was very tempted to reveal to this chap the process that might mean I'm his biological father - But my upbringing saved his Bacon.

            * Whew!! Finally I hear a different voice. Made to repeat the whole she-bang - AGAIN - Customer ID#, complaint #, the entire query in full Technicolor splendor. Again, put on hold. 10 minutes of silence interspersed with the truck-horn blaring intermittently as if playing musical chairs.

            * Again another voice (the previous one assured me he knew exactly what I was about and was "going to check my details") - this time not so noisy a background. Again - Rewind, repeat. Customer ID #. Complaint #. Name. Phone number. Address. Brand o[censored]nderwear worn today.
            And then my Query - my brain felt like it was crumbling piece by piece inside my head.

            * NOW the real FUN starts - I'm told my original complaint was registered on May 20th. Not so. I had called in to this Living Nightmare of a call center on May 18th. I am a very meticulous man, my little black book clearly noted the date, time and other tid-bits of my original query.
            Then I realized why the chap was trying SO HARD to prove me wrong - Obviously my work was Not done. They have TRTs (Turn Around Time - taken to close a query) norms to adhere to (that's what the Franchise will tell you - because they want to "Provide a Global Service Experience to our Customers".

            So, to save his and that of his Manager, I was convinced that my issue was Not yet fixed cuz it was still within the 48 hour resolution TRT cycle.

            * I gave up the argument - I just wanted my to be sorted out, Dear God, please. Again - the famous 9 minutes of Fames a.k.a "Please Hold while we check ur "details"". AGAIN - transfered to Another voice now!! Rewind. Repeat. Name. Number. Why was I calling (even I was seriously questioning that of me by that stage). And Lo And Behold - My complaint number, has a "Resolved" status. Meaning I just stepped out of clinical Coma after 42 years.

            * Exasperated that STILL the guy didn't know what my query was about, I asked him to read aloud to me the Case Notes on my reference number, off his Computer screen. Astonished - there was nothing noted down in my case history apart from my name, my phone number, and of course - the color o[censored]nderwear I was wearing on May 18th, when my original query was reported to these guys.

            * I asked the exec to stop stammering & blabbering, and asked how or why was my Issue deemed "Resolved". He says, I had CALLED BACK the same day, and informed THEM that I no longer needed assistance. Was I called back as they promise in their Service level Agreements? Nope. Was my problem resolved? Yes. YES??? "Yes Saar you "has" been "confirm" same "date" by "himself". Yes Saar."

            * Simple question - Am I an ? A leech on the domestic call center culture? A complete imbecile with short-term memory failure? Or am I so jobless that I decided to spend the last 2 hours asking these Blithering Incompetent to FIX a problem that never was? Take your pick. I choose the shotgun and a pack of slugs.

            * Okay. I vented out a bit out of sheer dismay. To avenge that, our man here without warning puts me on that "Hold" again to be bundled to the desk of the next Blithering Incompetent on the team. So this must be how a pending Government case file must feel like. My Two Solid Hours on this exercise being the variable that would stretch to Two Decades of Hollow Promise.

            * Now THIS gent here gives me the "Mobile" number of a Local Area Engineer who would come down and fix my issue. May I have an Office fixed line number please? Saarry Saar. Er..an email ID perhaps...? Saarry Saar. Okay, what's the chap's name? You call up and find out no Saar, he will tell you.
            Of course he will. Sorry - or should I say Saarry - Saar, my bad. And what if this fellow doesn't answer his cell phone, as is his wont? Guess what : "Saar" please note down ur NEW Complaint Number. If this man does Not answer the call - I should call AirTel back. Again. From scratch.


            * My AirTel set-top box remote had conked out - by th way, that was my original issue. After that, I spent the next 2 days trying to reach this Local Engineer, who doesn't even have a local office to be found at.
            Couldn't get through - of course.

            * AGAIN, Called AirTel Domestic Call Canter. Went thru the entire Drill of all drills. 2 blokes who think they can converse in Hindi, 2 more with similar misconceptions about their English - about 40 minutes on hold altogether with the AirTel theme Truck-Horn blaring my eardrums to ruin, repeat and re-repeat my query.

            Finally - to a calm & collected voice on the line. Why has my problem not been addressed. Sir, why are you kidding me on a Monday night. Says here the Local Engineer himself logged in and Closed my case as Resolved, a day ago. Bemused - I asked him to guess then why would I be calling him again now. And all this while Corrupt politicians under the Facade of an equally defunct, woefully incompetent structure in place as AirTel, were making off with millions of my Tax money. And I couldn't even watch that Obituary being read out on Times Now news hour.

            * Dear Mr AirTel Operative - this nameless, faceless Service Engineer who doesnt answer his cell phone but very promptly reports my Complaint as resolved - So can YOU or someone in YOUR team PLEASE contact him, give him a clear TAT, ensure my work is done - and ENQUIRE about my level of satisfaction, BEFORE the Funeral of my repeat complaint? Answer - Sorry Sir, we don't do that. Company rules. Department protocol. Scandinavian Policy. Can you read me what exactly in that "Policy"? Sir - in a place where Hindi and English are unknown foreign dialects - do u reckon we will really TRANSFER your call to our offices in - NORWAY - ? NO WAY.

            * So - Im asked to "note down" another cell phone number, for another (seemingly de-localized) Local Engineer. They cannot check with that Saviour of Airtel consumers.Not policy, nor rules permits.


            Then WHAT am I still supposed to do?? What if again even this chap's nowhere to be traced? Please Call 12150 from your Airtel number and we would be happy to ASSIST you. Wow. I never thought of that..!! Such brilliance - and yet so simple! I feel bad I even asked.

            OKAY - SO - my duty as a consumer is to play I-Spy with Local Engineers and Touts who didn't give a flying [censored] for me. Endlessly.

            And what - MR IRE-TELL / AIRTEL Executive, do YOU get paid for? Customer Torture - and for those who survive till the Grand Finale, to push them onto an unknown imaginary Authority - which meant my Future with AirTel hung on the whim of this Untraceable Expert to even answer my calls or not.

            Anything REMOTELY resembling Customer CARE here? Kid me not. Will they make sure that I - customer of theirs and NOT of their touts and pimps - will have a sure-shot resolution? Naah, [censored] off.
            Will anybody even type in details of each call as reference to the status of the query-complaint? No, damn Not. Will someone ever call me back to verify if my desperate plea was finally answered? Only on paper. On Toilet Paper that AirTel Domestic Call Centers will wipe your off their faces with and mail it along with your Broadband & DTH Bills.for the month.

            They are therefore - EVENTUALLY just accountable to reveal an obscure mobile number and call it 'CUSTOMER CARE'. And award each other Best Employee Of The Month and Most Customer Focus Team of the Quarter in Gift Coupons at Lifestyle or Marks&Spencers.

            So what IS their [censored]ING JOB that they get paid for - AND charge You and ME a pretty penny to actually endure & survive?
            The day I have lost the will to Live or watch Television in full HD again - I'll try and pen down THAT rich, unique, enthralling experience vis-a-vis The AIRTEL DOMESTIC CUSTOMER care CENTER.

              I have registered my pre-paid mobile No. under DND service. It is now more than 3 years but I am still getting Telemarketing calls and SMSs. How do I complain to Consumer court? Airtel is turning deaf ear to this problem as Telemarketing people says that you number is not in list, however Airtel says they have activated this request. WHOM SHOULD I BELIEVE?                 It is very disappointing to notice that few advertisement agencies of a reputed telecom company have resorted to very disgusting/cheap method of advertisement. This is disturbing the Bangalore environment. It is noticed that BBMP have resorted to very efficient method (Beautiful paintings of the rich culture of KARNATAKA on the walls of government buildings to prevent pasting of posters across the so called Garden City (Namma Bengaluru).
                The advertisement companies have started to nail the pamphlets on the trees. This is something very annoying. When we have visitor (foreigners) to the city who sees, it is very shameful to us and also to the telecom company. The company though is spending crores on advertisement through TV, sport agencies, Paper retail outlets etc., but the method of nailing pamphlets on tress is something which should be stopped immediately. As it is the city is losing large amount of trees in the name of development, Imagine the numbers of trees that are being felled to prepare paper that is being used to manufacture these pamphlets. Though the telecom company mentions in there website to prevent paper bills and opt for message notification, they should see this method of advertisement is a natural waste.
                I hope concerned authorities will stop this disgusting act. Please help to save trees and prevent the beauty of our city. Being such a big telecom company and resorting to such cheap method of advertisement is a shameful act. Will the company authorities do the same in their house (dirty their area). If they are keen on advertising let them have the pamphlets pasted on their house, backyards, cars etc..,.

                  I am using AIrtel digital service for last three years. Now two days back I had rchsed another set up box with the same connection by paying Rs 1750/-. Amount was paid M/s Sahny Communication. Tripuri. Patiala. As per my old plan there wer 160 channels and I was assured that you will get the same number of channels. Earlier my monthly rent was Rs 260/- and it was also assured that after the installation of second box rent would be reduced to Rs 160/-. per month.                   I 9.45 Pm on sunday 12-9-10 itself.

                  My complaint has not been solved till 16/9/2010 3.45PM

                  Company are there only to sell their products, does they are not bound to provide after sale service to their customers

                  The dealer and the customer care executive not support my queries still now, Dealer ask for Rs.250 for remote and Rs.100. for petrol but the executive ask for only Rs.150, It is also a difference between company and dealer, So please solve this problem, I am very frusted from Airtel digitel service.

                      Today is fourth day and I am still waiting for an engineer to come to my home and check the problem.

                      It has been almost 1 year since i took Airtel digital Tv connection and it is my first experience with customer care. The response is very pathetic and frustrating. I am tired of calling them again & again... first of all connecting to them is itself a big task... finally i[censored] get connected to customer care executive, either they are not bothered to listen to you or sometimes they even disconnect the line. I ahd complained on 6th jul 2010 morning and since then they keep on telling the problem will be solved today. Finally one managed to give service centre number.

                      The service centre for this area is in indirapuram and the situation is no good thr as well. I called up to service centre , the lady to whom I talked already had the complained but still no person had come. She gave me service engineer's number. I called up him (8th Jul at 5:00 pm)... finally he said he will come in an hour. It was 8:00 pm and no one ahd come. i called up to service centre again, same lady... she told that the engineer has said to her " No phone call came".
                      I wonder first of all why is he lying or she lying??? secondaly if complaint is already registered .. is it my duty or theirs to remind them about their job.

                      I am badly disheartened and want to escalate this.. so that such problems do not occur in future.
                      There is a great need in change in the system... else no one will continue with airtel.

                      AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — LOSS OF SIGNALS

                      I purchased a digital tv in nov 2009, After 8 months of running ,I suffered with the problem of loss of signals completely ,after complaining many times to customer care, a service enginner visited & chrged Rs 100/- to resolved the probelem. But after one month same problem faced again, I make a call to Sonepat service center of Digital tv, Then again they Charged Rs 100/- , It happens Many times With in 4 month, Every Time they Charged Rs 100/- for resolving the problem
                      When I asked to Solve the problem Permanently they replied to Change the set up box with another old & repaired set up box against Rs 500/- + Rs/- 100/- srevice charge,
                      I make complaint Many Times on customer Care Against the complaint No. 5153225 date 24 jan.2011,
                      5195772 date 28 jan 2011,
                      5215825 date 30 jan 2011,
                      5232397 date 31 jan 2011,
                      Every time I got commitment to solve the problem soon but till today no action done by airtel. ,
                      My question is How many time I have to pay the money for the same problem ?
                      When it occoured First time then why not resolved permanently? That time my Set up Box Was in warenty Period, Now they charged Rs 500/- to replace this with old set up box.
                      You are requested to solve my problem as soon as possible

                        Airtel Karnataka users beware and check your call charges minutely after every call. Now that all mobile calls are charged at 1 paise per second, Airtel cheats people by charging more. Some times they charge 1.5 paise for STD calls. For a call of 10 minutes 22 seconds, the correct charges should be Rs. 6.22/- but airtel charged around Rs.9.33/-. When contacted Airtel customer care immeditely after the call, they said the call details are not available and they have charged for the customer care service as well. The charges were around 50 Paise for 3 minutes. This was done without any prior notification. Beware! call 198 instead of 121 and if you speak to any customer care executive, the call will be charged with the about rate. Airtel has been cheating people because the call charges are displayed as flash sms which cannot be stored for future reference. The call charges are displayed after every call and I don't know how many people has the habit of checking the time versus charges. Even I missed for a long time and found it by chance. With the use of prepaid mobile, Airtel is cheating people. One bad company to stay away. Tata Docomo provides much better service and true to the value of service.

                          today at 11:05AM then i asked to him about TRAI, then i have replied that "what are you talking about, i do not know about TRAI" and when i tried to make him understand till then the our communication was disconnected.

                          So, i want to know that indeed do your customer care executive not aware about TRAI.
                          if is it so then it will very very unsafe for your company's reputation.

                            My Airtel DigitalTV customer ID is[protected]. I receive a message that the battery of remote is low. Then I put everready batteries in it. But the remote was just showing red light and was not operating. Then I contacted customer care executive he asked me to used AAA batteries. But even after using AAA batteries the remote is not working. So I called customer care executive he/she told me that the engineer will come to my home. When for 3 days no engineer came i again contacted customer care executive. Then he told me that I should go to nearest dealer and he will replaced the remote for Rs. 150/- and suddenly the call was cut. When I go to the nearest dealer he first exchange the batteries of the remote to the one he has then told me that my remote is not working and I will have to pay Rs. 350/-. Then I again contact customer care executive he told me to contact the regional office number on [protected]. That number used to be busy always. Fortunately I managed to contact on the number once. He told me that I will get the remote replace for Rs. 150/- But suddenly I receive "Jya Airtel numbershi tumhala sampark karayacha ahe to sadhya band ahe and blah blah blah" When I used to talk to customer care executive sometimes they say "Kya aap muze sun pa rahe hai kya aap muze sun pa rahe hai". When I told them that yes I am able to listen they cut the call.

                            Airtel Digital — remote not working so not able to use the remote

                            set box remote of airtel digital tv is not working so facing lot o problems while using the remote
                            plz kindly do the same

                            Airtel DTH — No proper customer service

                            Airtel is the most horrible DTH service. Customer care is horrible. these are the issues:
                            1. I changed my location and my new location is around 500 mts from my old building. I tried the customer care several times but it was not reachable. Looks like they are more busy then the Prime minister of India.
                            2. After attempts over 2-3 days, I got through one . He started speaking in a weird humorous way cracking jokes on my query.
                            3. He took my request and sent me and sms with an id and told that engineer will come next day 10 am. However to my surprise, I got another sms in an hour or so from Airtel with the same id and said that Complain has been Resolved !.
                            4. I waited till next day 10 am at home leaving office work pending only to find that the engineer did not turn up. The phone number provided in the SMS was invalid.
                            5. I called up Airtel CC again, he again scheduled a new slot at 11 am. Again the engineer did not turn up.

                            AIRTEL DTH HD — no engineering support

                            given below is a copy of email i wrote to airteldth
                            i am an airtel dth customer for past 15 months
                            CUSTOMER ID: [protected]
                            on 11 aug 11 my tv started showing an error code SM2
                            i contacted your customer care and they said it was an installation error and asked me to keep the settop box on for another half an hour and problem will be resolved
                            the tv services started after half an hour to disappear again and SM 2 error code was shown
                            this process repested 6-7 times till i was told that since i had a HDDTH reciever i need to shift to a new satellite link to keep tv services
                            i lodged a fresh complaint on 17/18 aug 11
                            engineer reported on 18 aug 11 ( name mohammed, mobile no [protected]) and said he could not rectify the problem and left with the assurance that he will send somebody, however noone came to visit
                            again a fresh complaint was lodged and engineer reported on 20 aug 11, he opened the dish and as there was no electricity at that point of time, promised to return in an hour ( gave his moble no, [protected], name muzamil ) but he never returned on 20 aug. on 21 aug i gave a call to him and he promised to visit but did not. on 22 aug i gave him a call but said he could not attend to it.
                            on 22 aug around 1100 h i called up customer care and they gave me a slot of 1600h on 22 aug 11for engineer visit, and also registered a complaint against engineering support. however she asked me the details of the engineer who visited me and asked me to call again. again called customer support on 22 aug 11 at 1115 h approx and this time again they said complaint was registered.
                            nobody reported yet again to rectify the problem. at 1700h i called up a customer care executive who said that no such complaint was registered and asked me to register a fresh complaint. when i asked him to put a senior on line he DISCONNECTED the phone ( i believe customercare are no supposed to do that)
                            i called up yet again at around 1715h and asked for a supervisor to speak to me, after a long discussion and wait of ten mins or more i could speak to someone who claimed he was the senior on floor. he confirmed that my previous complaints have not been registered. lodged a fresh complaint for engineer visit and gave me an appointment of 24 aug 11 at 1700h. however he said he could not do anything for the visit scheduled on 22aug11 1600h to materialize and when asked if i could be reimbursed damges for non availability of tv services and the talktime spent on conversing with your customercare, he balatantly refused and told me it was my fault only that i did not register the complaint correctly.
                            THE AIRTEL DTH SERVICES ARE PATHETIC, ESPECIALLY IN PUNE

When ever I recharged my account I never get a message from the Airtel Digital TV or even when my Airtel digital TV account is almost to be over. I want to know to whom they working, only for customer then why they are not ready to talk customer on their problem.
                            Now I am totally fed-up with Airtel's horrible service & now decided if my problem is not resolve by today, will closed airtel connection.

                            I hope now at least this issue with be resolved.

                                Sir,
                                The undersigned had land line connection with broadband services but inspite of having dropped the cheque at their drop box bill for the month of April, 2010, the undersigned was told that the payment has not received by them and the services were disconnected without intimation and the undersigned felt humiliated and ask for total disconnection of the services. Airtel representative attended the office of the undersigned and requested to continue with the connection and undertook to waive the charges / bills amounting to Rs. 1000/- and changed the tariff plan from Rs. 520/ to Rs. 449/-
                                but nothing happened and the entire services remain suspended.
                                Since the services are not being availed by the undersigned the service provider is not entitled to any amount. Kindly look into the matter and direct the airtel company to restore the connection after waiving all the previous dues since no service was provided,

                                  I have placed an order for a new broadband connection on 03.07.2010 with Airtel Broadband service with a condition that I need it on urgent basis on Monday. The sales person (Deepak - [protected]) assured that we will get a connection on Monday 05.07.2010. But on continuous calls he is now saying that he can't provide us the connection and will refund our money in the evening. Please note that we have paid him CASH. but now his manager is saying that the money will not be refunded and we have to file an application for that.

                                  My complaint is against the person and company who allegedaly make false promises to customer while registering a sale and then leaving the customer in trauma to get their money back or to get the good services.

                                    Dear Sir,

                                    I have taken a SIM Card of Airtel Mobile no [protected] before three year. On date 05 July 5 PM I received a message that my document is not enough as per rule and give me time till 07 July 2010 to submit them.

                                    But company stop my incoming & outgoing since 06 July 2010 without any information.
                                    Whether I have submited same on 06 July 2010. But till my incoming & outgoing call are not activated.

                                    Due to this I face many problem & loss of money also.

                                    Looking for your quick & Kind reply.

                                    Prepaid Sim — stopped outgoing calls

                                    i had purchased aprepaid airtel sim [protected] in december.on 17.1.08 i recvd a msg to submit id again.on 21.01.08 i submitted my id.the reciept no is [protected].but till date my out going calls are not started.plz help me
                                    hiiiiiiiiiii everyone this is Aamir...i bought a sim 4 days back but it still is inactive its sim no is[protected] and my mobile no is [protected] plz! activate this...

                                    Airtel, Hyderabad — Reasons for stoppage of outgoing calls

                                    Mobile No.[protected]. I have sufficient balance, even then my outgoing calls facility has been stopped. Now i am in Mumbai but residence is in Hyderabad. Kindly restore the outgoing call facilities.
