Hi, My number is [protected]. I have been charged Rs.30/- for the last two months for this Airtel Friendz Chat service on my prepaid airtel number. I have never subscribed for this service. I want my Rs.60/- back in my prepaid account and want Airtel to stop playing these cheap tricks with customers.

Airtel — AUTOMATIC FRIENDZ CHAT ACTIVATE

This is a circular from TRAI (Telecom regulatory authority of India.) to all telecom operators. read it carefully it will help u.

First u look at your end. that
1. did u complaint them for the same ? do u have complaint no..
2. ask to customer care guy to give number or E-mail ID of GM.
3. after that as per this letter u can complaint to TRAI. Unfortunately I don't have any E-mail ID for complaint but the telephone number mentioned in the letter of TRAI.
If any other quiry u can contact me. Further I would like to inform u that if Aircel is available in your area use that I don't have a single complaint from them since company launched in Mumbai. Bye.

    I have Airtel DTH connection. It's showing NO SINGNAL since 18 July 2010. I was able to lodge complaint after 1 Hr continuously calling on CC no . Atlast at 14:05 I have got complaint No:3332789 and representative promised me it will be attended before 18:00 O'clock same day. But it was not attended, on next day when I have called to local Lucknow Service centre with reference to complaint number they have denied and told me They havn't received this complaint alloted. Local Lucknow centre has also given me Complaint No. B4 for the same but even after 10 number of reminder calls its not been attended.

    I am not able to understand How they are managing the services.

    I have installed Airteldth in JAN 2010 and again made mistake of my life to renew it in feb 2011 for one more year, actually the trouble started way back in 2010 it self but after so many complaints it seems that no body is willing to do his duty honestly, in October when i was troubled by the AirtelDTH i tried to make the complaints to Customer care but those who are sitting in the customer care area do not have the proper training they people always made false promise and their seniors also, even though i had sent mail to the nodal officer Mr. Pawan Garg but this gentleman do not even bother to reply to my mail, i am surprised to see the behaviour of this so called nodal officer, now again position is the same problem after so many complaints i just get the SMS that your problem is solved if not please call [protected], when i attempts to call this stupid fellow either he or her cellphone is busy or he or she do not take the call. I here by request the concern person to take appropriate actions against all these culprits if not possible to Dukandari bund kar den.

    dont prefer Airtel dth for anyone.. Worst service. i bought Airtel DTh and for 4 days they didnt install and they didnt give my money back also... the customer care people also un professional.

      My wife, Dhanya Shyam took an Airtel Broadband connection last year in Bangalore. Phone Number[protected], AC no[protected]. We got a first month bill of close to 30,000 and realized that though we had asked for an unlimited connection, we had been registered for a connection with a 4GB limit. When we looked through the overall bill we also realized that the charges were exorbitant and called the centre and told them so. We had been billed for lots o[censored]sage during times when werent even present at home. We duly raised this with Airtel and we had multiple back and forth again and again regarding the same.

      I personally spoke to a few people from the call centre and after much talking they came back and told us that we had to pay around 3000 for the bill and settle it once and for all. I said ok for the same and they promised to send me a revised bill, nothing came to us. We got a notice from Airtel telling us that they will institute proceeding against us to recover the money. I again called up and told them of the conversation and they again promised to come back with the revised amount.

      We didnt hear from them after that till date, I got a call today supposedly from Delhi High court and seems that legal proceedings have been started. I am not sure how Airtel can do something like this to paying customers. We have Airtel Digital TV and a few connections in Chennai, I have an airtel cell and a DTH connection in Hyd, I had Broadband too, before i moved to a place where there is no airtel BB coverage. My wife has an Airtel phone and had this BB connection. We are long time users of airtel and its sad that you guys are resorting to arm twisting even after we agreed to pay the revised amount.

      Can you please take swift action to prevent a fallout against this. The lawyer we were supposed to contact isnt helpful and keeps hanging up on me, the Case number is apparently 3033 and was filed by Sadhana Kaushik who is Airtel's legal counsel. I would expect a speedy response and resolution from Airtel. If my wife is harassed further, I will fight this tooth and nail and though u might seem to win this case, u will lose a very loyal customer and lakhs of rupees in future business.

      airtel landline broadband service — so much harashment to the coustomer

      dear sir, I MR jaspreet singh i have my airtel no[protected] which was activated by your airtel executives since last 2 days now presently the connection is disconected by the company.i conferm the full mater from the company that what's the problem they said that on 16 aug 2008 mr kapil deep has defaulted the case and the connection is deactivated but there is no relation with kapil deep and according to me there is the confuson in address my address is 122-B modeltown extentionand kapildeep's address is 122 model house sir please this is a request that please read my case and activated my telephone services soon plzz if you read the mail reply me soon

      Its not just Airtel, the whole bunch of them are exploiting customers, I am a victim of excess billing by Reliance BroadBand. Made several complaints, got several complaint nos, got several calls from Reliance Mumbai. After a month of arguments etc had to cough up the money as my connection was cut. No hope of fairplay.

      Dear Airtel Service provider, & Airtel users...

      The same with me had taken a broad band connection in the year 2009.it was fine untill we relocated to very next cross hardly 300 meters & later i requested for shifting the land line & conection & also i got confirmation from airtel team it willbe taken care.but once when the executives came for shifting the line they went back without any information & after a week some officer from airtel came in stating that we would not be able to reconnect you since there is no DP box nearby where i have relocated & they informed me to surrender the instruments & everything with the person they will be sending later & i agreed tooo for that.after 2days i got a call from one person saying he had come to collect the instrument where i was not at home & i could not give the instruments back after that till date there was no call or mails from any of the airtel people & all this happened in the month of september 2010...suddenly in the month of Dec 2011 i am getting a call at 11:30Hrs that there is a final hereing at Delhi Highcourt at 12:00hrs & within half an hour i need to attand the court else the case will be proceeded & will be penalized a really huge amount...
      1) Is it really possible for any one to reach Delhi from bangalore in 30 mins
      2) If there is any case or hering there should be some kind of intimation or notice from court or from Airtel people.

      Is this is the right way for such a huge indias NO-1 service provider can do with any common people do.

      This complaint might be common for Airtel but it makes life misserable for individual common man...
      my account number is 16330415 and phone no [protected]. In the month of September in 2011 i filed a request to shift my connection. customer care promised that they will deactivate the connection and i do not have to pay any shifting charge..later i have been asked for shifting charge even the connection was not shifted and i regularly received the bill.. after talking to customer care may be around 100 times they told they cant shift the connection to my new place. again someday someone will call from customer care and will say its possible and some other day someone will call and say its not possible..meanwhile i was getting all the bill. finally after so much fighting they told they will cancel my connection and no bill will be generated..even after that i was receiving bill and they also had my address wrong in their database where i still have the copy of the form while taking connection which has correct address. Today 21st april 2012 i received a call from some jatin from delhi and he asked to speak with sadhana ...i spoke with her and she told me that i have a case from airtel and i have to pay 23, 000. then she said i can make the payment immediatley and nothing will happen or else i need to come delhi in half an hour as the court has issued a notice and i missed three hearing......i never ever got anything from them..no call..no response..nothing...i several times asked the customer care to give me a final figure and to cancell the connection..i even received an email from them saying the service is cancelled and i dont have to pay..but some 400 rupees...i was not using the connection and its been a year ..why should i pay even a silly amount for the service i have not used and when they tol dit was cancelled...i though made the payment today and asked customer care not to raise any further bill...when i was calling customer care with my phone number then its saying that phone number provided by you is incorrect...I would like to find this sadhana kaushik...and as well would like to meet up the managers...anyone facing problem like this please get in touch me at [protected]@yahoo.co.in as i belive airtel today is playing with customers. ..anyone facing such kind of situation please share here...

        I would like to file a major complaint against Bharti Airtel Limited for Extortion calls, Harassment, Mental Trauma and Breech of Privacy.

        I have been a committed and devoted customer of Airtel Mobile & Broadband Services for the last 5-6 years until this year a couple of months ago.

        In January 2010, I switched my mobile phone from a Nokia to a BlackBerry and opted for the Rs.1099 BlackBerry Plan with Airtel. I used it for almost a month to only realize I never actually used the Internet browsing and was only using the BlackBerry Messenger and Email (Which came also in a Rs.299 Plan).

        However, by the end of the month I called Airtel Postpaid Customer Support and asked the staff who I was speaking to about what other BlackBerry plans they had. Firstly, I think it is very disappointing that Airtel places their fresher trainees in the Postpaid department who hardly understand any English nor can they communicate and solve any issues regarding their services.

        Anyway, I still decided to co-operate with the trainee. Although I was aware of the regular plans that Airtel had for BlackBerry, i.e:- Rs.1099 (Full Browsing, Emails, Chats, Etc) and Rs.299 (Only Chats and Emails, No Browsing), I still wanted to verify this incase there were any new offers, etc. The staff also mentioned about only these 2 plans to me and nothing else.

        I chose the Rs.299 plan and confirmed that with the staff more than once, after which he said, No problem sir, your plan will be activated within 4 hours or less. My plan indeed did get activated right after I received a text message from Airtel saying BlackBerry Prosumer Plan activated or something else, I really wish I remembered, Although I'm definitely sure it didn't include what plan it was, whether Rs.299 or what.

        Anyhow, I seemed to be enjoying my new BlackBerry plan and it's email solutions until 10 days later, I mistakenly clicked on a Facebook link on my email. Surprisingly, Facebook opened in the internet browser of the BlackBerry and I was shocked.

        I called Airtel Customer Support to clarify why was I able to access Internet Browsing on my Rs.299 BlackBerry plan, to which they told me I was on a Rs. 243 BlackBerry Plan where everything I do, Internet Browsing, Email, Chats, BlackBerry Messenger, is all chargeable by the KiloByte. I was astounded. I immediately checked my outstanding balance only to find out that in those 10 days, I had an outstanding bill of Rs. 4817.

        After which, my life has become living hell due to Bharti Airtel Limited. I have had hundreds of calls from them asking for the payment. I co-operated with each and every call of theirs, because it's not something I'm trying to run away from. It's a mistake caused by a foolish Airtel employee. I have explained by case from scratch to a different Airtel staff whenever they called atleast 15-20 times after which I gave up and refused to repeat my case.

        Although I never stopped answering their calls. Each and everytime someone would hear my case out, they'd say "Sir, kuch settlement kar lete hai" which I found very unethical of such a huge organisation such as Airtel. Everytime they'd say, "Okay sir, If we waiver your BlackBerry charges, can you at least pay your outstanding for Phone Calls and Text Messages ?" to which I have always agreed and asked them where would they like me to pay the bill (Which they told me themselves was of Rs.625 without BlackBerry Charges). They would always say they'd get back to me on that and then after a few days someone else would call and the case would go back to square 1 where I'd still have to pay Rs.4817.

        After a couple of weeks, Airtel did the most cheap, unethical, unprofessional, childish thing anyone could ever do. They started calling my family members, my relatives, my friends, my juniors, my seniors, anyone's number they could possibly get from my personal calls made from my airtel number and started calling them and harassing them and talking to them rudely and asking them to tell Hirdesh (me) to pay his bills.

        There was then this one day, I got yet another call from an Airtel staff. My god, I was baffled at the way she spoke to me.

        Me: "Hello ?!"
        Airtel Staff: "Good Evening, Main Airtel Se Baat Kar Rahi Hoon."
        Me: "Yes ?"
        Airtel Staff: "Sir, Aapka Rs.4817 ka Bill pending hai, kabhi bhar rahe ho ?"
        Me: "Kabhi Nahi." (Ofcourse after all that I've been through with Airtel, I'm not going to repeat my case yet again)
        Airtel Staff: "Kya Kabhi Nahi, Sab Photkat (Free) Mein Chahiye Kya ?"
        Airtel Staff: "Aukad Nahi Hai Kya ? Chup Chaap Apna Bill Bhar Do."
        Me: "What do you mean ? Is this the way to speak to a customer ?"
        Airtel Staff: "Bhenchod Teri Maa Kaa, Maderchod.........................." And 'SHE' hung up

        Wow. After this, I will go to jail if I have to, but over my dead body am I going to pay this very Airtel Bill. Infact I should be compensated for such rowdy behavior. Bharti Airtel, one of the biggest leading mobile services, behaves this way. All I required was some sort of proof that I had indeed consumed that Rs.4817 and I would have paid it. I'm not running away from my bills. I just don't want to pay for something that I haven't used.

        I have also received a letter saying I have to be present at some "Lok Nyayalaya" Court on the 24th of July, 11:00 AM for not paying my bill of Rs.4817.

        We the public must be really stupid to tolerate such behavior. It has to stop.

        Your Honor, I sincerely hope I get justice in this case.

          Its really a serious, when we can have all the channels then why can't we have Peace TV. Airtel people will have the same reply all the time "That they have forwarded our concern to the team" this is not going to help and we as a customer needs a relevant response or a valid reason.
          People opt for Airtel just because of the good customer satisfaction value which it has earned over a period of time (Thanks to SBM) but in this case it seems all the customers are loosing their complete trust with Airtel. I feel our local cabalwalas are doing better in providing what we want, at least we get to watch our favorite channels even though we have to loose out on clarity and stuff but again who bothers for HD & MPEG technology when their basics requirements itself is not fulfilled.
          Team its a serious concern and reply back to feedback does not matter what we are expecting as a customer that you should be transparent enough to provide us some relevant time-frame so that we can wait (if its sound feasible enough) or else we will move to Hathway or local cablewalas.
          I too agree with the complaint. When i had brought the airtel dth connection i was told that it will be added and they have forward my concern to the team (but which and what i am confused) Can you give peace tv and Q tv or not is the question. (login for airtel (nadeemdth)) [protected]

            Hello Sir,

            I am pathetically disturbed by unsolicited callers and SMS and cannot afford to attend them hence I opted for NDNC and Airtel Service Providers assured me the same underneath confirmation code W[protected] which assured that all promotional calls to my number would stop within 45 days which never happened.

            I have spent a lot of time to pepare a document on the SMS from commercial parties and the message center which sends them and have also provided the concerned callers number. Kindly ensure my right to be undisturbed.Jai Hind!!!

              Airtel — HOLDING CUSTOMERS TO RANSOM

              I AM AN AIRTEL CUSTOMER IN DELHI AND TRAVEL FREQUENTLY.
              ITS GOOD , NO DOUBT,, BUT.. ONCE I AM OUT ON ROAMING,, PPLE CAN'T CONTACT ME..THEY SAY ITS RINGING AND I AM NT ANSWERING, THERE IS NO MISSED CALL RECD / INDICATION ON MY CELL PHONE,,(HIGH END)..THEN AFTER A WHILE I RECEIVE A MSG FROM AIRTEL THAT I HAVE MISSED CALLS DURING THE DAY AND SHOULD SUBSCRIBE TO A SEERVICE ON PAYMEN SO THAT I CAN GET TO KNOW WHICH CALLS I MISSED. NOTE THAT, I HAVE KEPT MY CELL "ON" IN FULL STRENGT SIGNAL AND TRIED ASKING FRIENDS TO CALL ..TO CHECK.. IT WAS EMBARASSING THAT A COMPANY OF SUCH REPUTATION SHOULD HAVE SUCH MODUS OPERANDI...

              I had been customer of Idea for a long. But, due to your good popularity, services and reputation, I shifted to Airtel since about one & half a year (this you can also confirm by your system that, at present, I am having 3 connections). Now, I have been very much disappointed due to your services without any reason of rejecting & blocking one of my mob. No.[protected] (purchased from Sanyo Electronics, Dodhpur, Aligarh.

              I was also having another mob.no.[protected] which my daughter broken down due to some notorious calls.
              I, therefore, would like to request you that my mob. no.[protected] be opened or issued a new one free of charge with the balance of earlier one or provided me duplicate one free of cost and be obliged. It is because there is no fault of mine in this regard.

              i hv taken airtel sim in march 2008 and i used it till july 2008 at kochi. i was then posted to lonavala. i stopped using airtel sim and then i lost it. i lodged fir at lonavala police station

              AirTel — blockage of airtel prepaid sim card

              my airtel prepaid no [protected],which i in my friend's name i.e. Manish Pawar is blocked.They are saying that as dis nop was not in use for more than 6 months its blocked,whereas i used this no on 23 and 24 th nov and recharged it also. it was not in use for few months as i was in MP, and was not able to recharge the same,still i was able to recieve SMS on that no..               If you take my suggestion please throw this Airtel SIM into a gutter, buy some other sim and forget this chor company. They will not help you. They only want people's money. Nothing else.

              I am from Bombay and I have had enough from these . The police do not help. The courts take twenty years. The only thing that will work instantly is if you can carry five litres of petrol and burn their registered office in your own city. Then they will hear you falling at your feet. For this you will have to buy petrol, carry a lighter or match, take a day off and forget all useful work and single-mindedly attack them. Your work will be done.

                Dear sir,

                I have purchased a DTH connection of Airtel on 25th May 2010. I am facing problem since 15th July as the Set Top box is not working and there is no signal. I had registered a complain # 3307247 on 15th July but till date the problem has not been resolved. The Customercare is also very inefficient and there is no where one can go incase of some problem. the customer is left at the mercy of the dealer. This is the most inefficient company I have encountered and vouch in future not to us any Bharti Product.

                I request u to pls facilitate a refund as i would not like to continue with this company's services.

                  Hi,

                  I had visited (11th May 2010) to the Airtel Gallery, Hinjewadi Phase II, Pune on 13th May 2010 and had made request to Executive to change my billing plan, but my request was not heeded & the Customer Care Executive informed me that the bill plan cannot be changed until next billing cycle as well have to drop mail to [protected]@airtelindia.com for your plan change request.

                  I had dropped the regarding mail on 14th May 10. This plan was change on 15th May and got rollback on 17th May and changed to new plan MH 249.

                  I was under impression that my plan was corporate plan MH 149 and my Jun Bill (17th May 10 to 16th Jun 10) was generated on 249 with amount Rs. 1945.

                  Apart from this due to some CUG plan upgradation my May bill was generated with 2 months 1. Rs. 0.00 & 2> Rs. 154. I spoke to executive he said there is corportae CUG upgradation so bill was waived and customer will get 0.00 change bill for May month.

                  Coming to my ongoing issues for Jun month bill, i had raised request to customer care executive to provide me justification of the Bill and re-generate same with plan MH-149. They said we will get back to you in 2 days and what nothing....

                  When i had checked my Jun month bill with details i saw Rs. 841 was charged to me as "One Time Charges", i again spoke to executive he said this is one time changes in one day, another day said you last month due amount and story continued...

                  I had finally wrote mail to [protected]@airtelindia.com for resolution on my billing query... no one turn back to me since from last 14 days... finally is had gave call to 198 number, executive told me that there is no waived off approved for your request and also told me that your services was barred.

                  I had been using Airtel Services since 3 years and had been paying the charges on time. Being an old customer, my request for compensation on the charges is not being granted. Inspite of calling the Customer Care Unit everyday regarding this matter, the Unit is not responding properly. Is this the kind of service Airtel gives to its Customer who has been paying bills regularly since 3 long years ?

                  Finally it touch to boiling water... i decided to raise complaint in consumer court for best justice.

                  I hope my request will be considered and please reply me as soon as possible. Hope that you will take right steps within a small span of time and oblige me.

                  Bharti Airtel Ltd — Wrong Bill period 17-1-2010 to 16-2-2010

                  Company has wrongly charged me Usage of GPRS of 22059 amount Rs. 11029.50 when I am originaly covered under Plan o fBlackBerry Rs 899 Unlimited Usage of Internet, instant Messages etc. I lodged complaint on 17th January 25th January 2010 that Internate Sufing/Browsing is very poor and I can not make use of Internet. But instead of improving quality of Internate Browsing they changed by Plan to Rs. 499/- whic normaly not recommended to any customer. With the result the net usage has been bill for 22059 amount Rs 11029.50 When I have not used internet at all. Its Airtel has changed myh plan at own decision and they have been receiving my E-Mails.
                  This matter is to be looked into. When I have choosed Plan on Rs 899 originaly which is Unlimited why I should be chaged for Usage. Please note that I have not used Internet at all.

                  This matter is required to be checked. However I am sending the cheque of Rs. 3400/- Round figure for actual use of services (Rs. 3311.31) to Bharti Airtel Ltd.

                    I Receiving a call from airtel executive Mr Manoj([protected]) for a airtel broad band connection after that I applied for a new connection my was submited on 24th Nov 2010 to air tell office.
                    Still I was waithing wor connection. I had followup 3-4 time with Manoj he was syaing Connection will setup by Evening in every follow up .

                    They are saying some technical prob is comming this will be resolve in 1 days or 2 days.

                    This was a 2nd time I applied for a new cannection and canceling this due to your exe saying lie 2nd time.
                    last time same thing was happen on sept or oct 2010.

                        Since morning i am facing a network Problem. Today in news paper i read that all unauthorized mobile towers (Airtel Towers) will be sealed till evening.
                        But right now I am facing the problem. I am not able to receive or make calls through my cell phone.
                        I just want to register an complaint against my Mobile Service Provider(Airtel).
                        If I had been informed about this I would have prepared some options for myself.
                        The whole day i was not able to make any calls. As it was Sunday the customer care center here in Aurangabad was not open. As well as was not able to make call at customer care(121 and 198).
                        But in the evening at around 8 o'clock i got some network on my cellphone due to which i was able to make a call at CC(121) where i spoke to Hemant. but unfortunately that person was not having any kind of information regarding the same but still he took the complaint regarding the same and gave me the Ref: F[protected] as my complaint number.
                        This is how my mobile service provider is working don't have any kind o[censored]pdates!!!
                        I kindly request you to look into these issue ASAP.

                          1. Auto deduction when AIRTEL service reply informing the message, As I know there should not be any charge against the incoming message. But whereas the company is debiting for that also.
                          2. Simultaneously credit displaying is also cutting the credit balance.
                          3. It is number of time I complaint and resolve the issue I remove the SIM from the mobile ([protected]). The service of Airtel persists in another mobile([protected]) but again the same drama has been started automatically service reply cutting. I do not know how many people of India are suffering the like me and being cheated by so called AIRTEL.
                          4. Thus Airtel malpractice with the mobile service and continuing the open corruption and exploitation with the innocent citizen of India.
                          5. Sure our government will keep dump because recently TRAI has done the Crores of Rupees unlawful corruption. So still there is existing biggest loop whole to exploit the common people only. Hence, I invite to awake up the conscious and educative citizen to raise hand with me the stop it. We want the liberal justice for the illegal exploitation of AIRTEL.

                            Custmer I D [protected] was recharged for Rs 1850 on 07.06.2010 and on the same date request was made to change the plan to new value annual pack when contacted customer care on 13.06.2010,it was informed that due to technical reasons we are unable to change the plan and it will be done within a day or so.On 19.06.2010 there was a message from the company that your request has been resonved. Now on 18.07.2010 services have been suspended for want of balance,whereas more than Rs 1800/- are still with company. When contacted customer care on today.they have informed that the request for change of plan made on 07.06.2010 has been completed on 14.06.2010 due to technical reasons and i have to pay for services used between 07.06.2010 to 14.07.2010 @ Rs 5/- per day.The delay in change of plan was at the part of company, i was not at fault. Even than, if the company wants that i should pay ,there was a credit balance with the company as balance as on 09.06.2010 was Rs 2035/- (1850+185 ).I am surprised that how such a big company is dealing with its customers. If my account is not updated within a day or so.then i will be left with no option but to approach Hon"ble CONSUMER COURT to get Justice.

                              I have choosen airtel DTH on Feb 2010 and paid rs. 3850 for 1 YEAR south mega pack. After Airtel service engineer completed their installation they provided me a customer id as [protected].
                              I could not able to get the all channels I paid for from very first day onwards. When I called to customer care, they said this customer id is not belong to me, though this customer id is displaying in my TV screen when I go to menu (Pls refer attached picture). Suddenly on 14h June 2010, I received a message that my plan period is expired and need to recharge again.

                              I have called so many times to Airtel customer care. But none of them shown interst to solve this issue.

This is the wrong way of Selling of airtel comercial Products.                                       I would like to bring it to your kind notice that from the month of June 15th, 2010; my mobile prepaid account is being deducted daily by Rs.3.00. It is not possible for me to check my prepaid account balance daily, hence I was unaware of the fact that my prepaid account was getting deducted everyday. I came to know about this problem on 13th July 2010,so I lodged a complaint regarding this matter on 13th July 2010 (Tuesday) at the relationship centre of Dimapur, Nagaland, after enquiring I came to know some service called "WORLD CUP MATCH DAY" has been subscribed in my number for which my account balance was deducted daily. Anyways then I asked the lady in the relationship centre to unsubscribe the service, which she did in front of me & a confirmation arrived that I have been unsubscribed from the service.

                                      But unfortunately due to various flaws in system of AIRTEL my prepaid account balance is deducted everyday till now.

                                      Over & above I would like to site few points which will show you how fraud AIRTEL has become:--

                                      a) I myself didn't activate the service, it got activated automatically; even if I have done it I should have got the confirmation sms regarding the activation which I never received & moreover I never received any updates about "World Cup Matches" at all.

                                      b) When I tried to call the customer care at 121, my call never got connected. It says "PLEASE HOLD ON THE LINE WHILE WE TRANFER YOUR CALL TO THE CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE"; soon after that, the call gets disconnected everytime.

                                      c) When I called the customer care from relationship centre, they told me that I had activated the service myself & it cannot get activated automatically. The reply from their part was unsatisfactory & perhaps rude.

                                      d) When I called the NODAL OFFICER, he didn't take my call importantly; rather he started not picking up the call on Friday (July 16th, 2010). I called him atleast 10 times but he didn't respond to my call.

                                        Airtel Postpaid — Network / Call Drop

                                        Hi

                                        I have been having this complaint W.R.T to the network in our apartment for over 6 months now. I have made multiple complaints but the response from Airtel is really bad and is becoming worse.

                                        Initial complaints were made in Jan 2009 and Airtel mentioned that they will resolve the issue within the said SLA of 4 days. I did not hear from them for sometime and the network issue was at its worst. I called a couple of times more in Jan only to be told that they were following up with the same with their "Technical Department". The complaint goes cold because I had to focus on work and I forgot about the complaint. After a month or so after my last call to their call center (around end of Feb), I received a call from one of their technical field executives. He comes homes checks some meter and confirms that there is a network issue. He mentions that he will follow up and escalate the same to his manager.


                                        Nothing is done in March and April. And I conveniently (for Airtel) forget about the complaint and about the engineer who came home. The call drops and network issues persist. Meanwhile I go to my brother's place in C.V.Raman Nagar for a month (26th of April to 28th of May) and there is no problem there. I come back on the 29th of May to my apartment complex and we are back were we started 6 months ago. I complained on the 30th of May only to be told that it will take 8 days this time and the SLA is for 8th June.

                                        Its the 8th of June today. I made mmultiple calls to Airtel call center to check the status and was told multiple times that I will get a call from some manager. Zilch!! Nothing has happened till date. I called just now and the same old story from their CSR's. Not sure why they have there in the first place. Paying such huge salaries. Might as well keep voice recorders with the same messages playing.

                                        "We are sorry for the inconvenience"
                                        "Our technical team is looking into the matter"
                                        "We understand your problem"

                                        It got so frustrating after a point of time that I used some foul language on some of the executives. And what do you know - I get a call almost immdtly from the one of the Manager concerned about the foul language!!!

                                        Along with this one more great experience to note. I had not paid my landline and mobile bills due to the reason that their website will not accept payment and keeps giving me some funny message most of the time. For following up on this they are literally begging me for the change of Rs. 1300 and Rs.3000 for broad band. After this has crossed the payment due date by over 5 days, I get a couple of calls almost every day for the reminder to pay. I'd hope they do the same thing with their customer service and technical department.

                                        Not sure why they have an online payment option if it doesn't work properly most of the time.

                                        Inspite of all this, I'm still at square one with no action taken place. I could go on and on about the above but am sure it will make no difference to them.

                                        Looking to have some response and proper closure... ;)

                                        Airtel Post Paid — Call Drop

                                        I am facing the problem regarding call drop from Airtel from past few months, whenever i make a call from my no it usually get disconnected displaying the error message as error in connection or call not allowed.
                                        I even have made complain in Airtel Customer care regarding my problem many times, they took the complain and call back after 2-3 days saying that your problem is somved but nothing changes as i face the same problem again and again. As this is my business mobile no and is not possible for me to change it easily as it may affect my business as my few but important clients will not be able to contact.
                                        So it is to request you to please help me and suggest me what step should i take regarding this problem. and how it could be solved.

                                        I have been having this complaint W.R.T to the network in our apartment for over 6 months now. I have made multiple complaints but the response from Airtel is really bad and is becoming worse.
