Dear Sir,

Today Morning I found that my Mobile was displaying a MESSAGE that “SIM NOT VALID”. I called up the Customer Care Service and they informed me that my line was Temporarily Discontinued on account of Non Payment of Dues on my Data Card Connection.

I have been using the Data Card for more than a Year and the Services Promised to me at the time of taking the Connection were never matched by the services actually received. The Services Received was much below the level of Services Promised. Every time I would go to the Airtel Relation Centre and enquire about “When the Services would improve” and I would get one reply that “VERY SHORTLY”. But this never happened. Even than I continued with the Services on the hope that this will happen shortly.

The major setback came in the Month of March 2010, when the Services came down to intolerable levels. The Connection would disconnect without any reason and reconnect on its own. There would be no connectivity for hours for no reason.

I decided to discontinue the Data Card Services and also stopped making the payments. Because the Services Offered by you on Data Card was never matching (IT WAS BELOW THE PROMISES MADE BY YOUR RELATIONSHIP CENTRE) even after more than a year o[censored]sage. The call from your Relation Ship Centre for Payment Outstanding was attended by me and he was also updated on my stand. The Person on line even assured me that they will very soon improve and I should continue with the connection.

I have been paying a Premium charge for Services being used by me. I decided to stop this and as a result I decided to discontinue.



Regarding my AIRTEL CONNECTION [protected], I never had any problem with the services. You can also track my Payment History on this account. You were also satisfied with my performance and usage

And you have been kind enough to gradually increase my CREDIT LIMIT to Rs.14700.00 from Rs.8200.00. This reiterates my stand that the services offered by you on Data Card are not of Airtel Standards.

MY GRIEVANCE:
Today Morning, when I picked up my phone, I was surprised to find that MY PHONE IS DISPLAYING A MESSAGE “SIM NOT VALID”.
I called up AIRTEL CUSTOMER SERVICE and they informed me due to nonpayment of my Data Card Dues, my services have been temporarily discontinued.

My Request:
You are requested to look into the matter in the light of the above submission and restore my line. I would further request you to highlight on the Services of the data card services and give a solution to the problem.

In case you still do not restore my line [protected], I would request you to kindly accept my Request for Surrender of my CONNECTION [protected] and my Data Card with effect from the date and time of refusal to restart my connection.

Airtel — Disconnection of my phone temporarily

I requested to cancel all the special services to my mobile [No-[protected]] on[protected] in an Airtel office in Kodambakkam [Chennai] But there was no positive results in my phone in January, February and in this month. During this period I called respective people and also e-mailed them many times and I got the reply saying that within a few days we will process. I am fedup of this EXCELLENT sevice of the AIRTEL. First I was decided to change my connection from postpaid to prepaid and the second one not decided.[that you know]
I finished all my formalities on[protected] and the AIRTEL promissed me that by next day morning my number the same number will be activated, advised to call me 123 but the message coming from the other end was totally irritating, many times it repeated, they told that my line is temporarily disconnected. Because of my calling by using my LANDLINE PHONE they registerd now [ 3-2-2009, 4. 20 pm] They are inconveniencing the people.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    My father has a airtel prepaid connection ([protected]) which has a validity for an year for every recharge top-up recharge he does. Since he was out of town for about 3 months, airtel suddenly deactivated his service. When reached the customer care, no one was really helpful regarding this issue. At the same time customer support executives (reference no: [protected]) whom I spoke to was not helpful, nor she knew different prepaid plans available or provided by the service provider. She would not listen, but keeps talking over over again and would not listen. This is even before I could explain. Kindly, please advice what to do to have that number reactivated. Thank you.

    I will be much great full to you if you kindly furnish the incoming, outgoing and missed call history of my Air-Tel prepaid connection No.[protected] from 01.10.2009 to 15.11.2009.
    My mobile no.is [protected]. I had purchased two airtel-prepaid vouchar @ 10 /- avery.
    but I dont get full value of this card. I got only Rs.6.07 each .as per vallue mantioned
    on this card I loose Rs.01 for every card.It is my serios complent.

    Main[protected] ko *567*11# dial karke airtel mob office sewa activate ki.[protected] ko airtel co se msg mila ki agar usi din Rs.98 ka recharge karwate hai to Rs.50 ka free talk time milega & 30 dino ka unlimited GPRS bhi. Maine 19 march 2010 ko retailer se Rs.98 ka recharge karwaya lekin Rs.50 ka talk time nahi mila. Iske baad[protected] ko co. Ka msg mila ki apka 98 ka GPRS pack renewed kar diya gaya hai & Rs.98 balance se bina mujhe inform kiye deduct kar diye gaye. 121 par baat karne par bataya gaya ki apne *567*11# dial kiya hai. Jabki mai iss pack k liye 98 Rs. 19 march 2010 ko pay kar chuka hoon. & mere dwara *567*11# dial nahi kiya gaya fir bhi 21 march 2010 ko balance se dubaara Rs.98 deduct kar liye gaye.PLEASE SOLVE MY PROBLEM...
    On seeing the message from message centre no.[protected] about offer of full talk value of Rs. 349 on recharge voucher of Rs. 349 up to 25.03.2010, I e-recharged my mobile no. [protected] on 20.03.2010 at 8.00 pm vide Trans ID no. [protected] by Rs. 349.After that, I received the message that recharge is successful Talk time only Rs. 1.00 from message centre no[protected].i.e. full amount of Rs. 349 was not credited to my mobile balance.My airtel mobile no. belongs to Delhi and e-recharge was done at Ajmer(Rajasthan). Please credit full talk value of Rs. 349 in my airtel mobile.
    My husband having airtel prepaid connection ([protected]) which has a lifetime validity for every recharge top-up recharge he does. Since he was out of town for about 6 months, airtel suddenly deactivated his service. When reached the customer care, no one was really helpful regarding this issue.       I logged a complaint ( regarding slow speed of internet during night time perticularly on 18th -06-2010 i was told the by the CCE on the floor that the problem will get resolved within next 48 hrs . Engineer named Lokender visited my place the next day did something and the speed of broadband connection was 512 kbps for just half an hour and than back again to regular 256 kbps during the day as well as during the night.

      Lokender told me to give him a call incase the problem persists & i called him directly and was assured that the problem will get resolved with a day.

      On 23rd - 06- 2010 the problem of slow net connection was still there i logged in another complaint this time again was assured that it will get resolved within next day . Lokender visited my place again and then asked me to waite for a day more and the problem will get resolved i waited till 28th - 06- 2010. and untill then the problem was not resolved .

      I loggged in another complaint on 27th-06-2010 for the slow net connection of 256 kbps instead of 1mbps during night time. the customer care representative told me that it will get resolved within next day before 6 pm. two new engineers visited my place and told me that the server is not picking up you plan and nwo they have identified it and the problem will get resolved until next morning.

      As required by lokender i sent the print screen of the airtel speed test to him twice & was assured by lokender that the problem of slow net connection will be resolved within next day i waited again & it never did got resolved.

      I waited again till 27th[protected]:30 pm & received a call today from the engineer to check weather the problem is been still there or not but until now the problem hasn't been resolved . i gave a call just know to the airtel customer care spoke to a representative asked for a senior floor manager and was not satisfied with him also because of the same answer . I asked for his senior and they disconnected my call after a few minutes of keeping it on hold

      Its been 11 DAYS and my problem of slow speed connection from 1MPBS to 256 kbps is not been resolved till now.

      I called up again at 11: 45 ON 29th-06-2010 hoping for some solution. he just informed me that in his status the problem is already resolved & he logged in another complaint & asked me the same questions which i have been answering since 18th-06-2010.

      Request Number 4th complaint: He reopened my case wallah with the same request no.

      I asked to speak with supervisor and was on hold for good long 15 minutes finally MR.Devendra floor manager picked up the phone and responded sorry sir the last call got disconnected and i asked him to get me a senior guy who can help me out. still my call was placed on hold for another 10 min and no response so disconnected this call at 12: 10 am 30th-06-2010

      For all of you guys i want to take some strict action on this giant company AIRTEL now because of poor servicing & no solution for my problem for 11 days with 4 complaints.

      Airtel Broadband services are the worst in india more pathetic then MTNL broadband who have there complaint resolution time maximum 6 days airtel has set a benchmark now by not resolving the problem of the customer for 11 Days , Numerous call + 4 complaints excellent guys!

      I feel pitty on myself now that i disconnected my MTNL broadband for airtel .

      I have sent the same e-mail to Mr. Gurmeet Singh Sandhu senior manager .

      We logged the complaint on 31jan 2011 for shifting and again on 5 feb 2011 ref no 42703726 till date problem still there
      Everday after waiting yr engineer we talk to yr senior officer they only passing the buck
      for next evening
      And whenever we want to talk to your senior officer who has given us assurance no one came on line
      For the last 12 days we are working without internet and you know without internet any
      business can survive
      pl do something airtel efficiency is going slow down for the last 6 months
      because when we make the complaint nobody litsen

        I got a call from Airtel representative from[protected] on 28th of June 2010. He introduced himself as Adnan. He told me about Corporate plan wherein i could get benefits in call tariff, at a cost of Rs.500 (one time charge). They sent their representative to my office in Vashi, wherein i was asked to fill a form and deposit identity proof along with the amount. They gave me a copy of the form filled with the bill number. As for confirmation, i got a call from [protected] asking about what all was submitted, and was assured that my scheme would be activated in 8 hours time.
        On 29th of June 2010, at around 10:30am, i got a call from the first number saying the documents have reached us and that the scheme would be activated by evening. I tried contacting them around 6pm, but my call was cancelled and soon the first number was switched off. There is no response from the second number.
        What could be done to take strict acions against such fraud people? Should i launch a complaint at the nearest Police Station?

          hello sir,
          I m rameshwar, my airtel no is [protected], my plain name is 'CAMPUS CARD' @0.10p/m calling, but my plain is automatic convert to 0.01p/s, when i m calling to customer care he was telling that your mobile was recharged with Rs.32 on 22.05.2010 but i m not recharge any type of such recharge & he was not allow to convert my old plain.
          Could u please help me to get my old plain.

            I am using Airtel from past 2+ years and I have got 3 connections including 1 post paid and 2 prepaid, Recreantly I migrated from Postpaid to prepaid for number [protected] and till today I have made nearly 10 + calls and all the customer care executives does not have any responsibility because on 22 nd of June my out going calls are barred by informing that you people have not received my documents but I have submitted the documents 3 times at Rammurthynagar airtel outlet prior to this I was an airtel postpaid customer I would like to know when will my account will be activated its almost 4 days now and I have submitted 3 times my documents the only thing that I can do is log a complaint in consumer court regarding this to refund the money that I have wasted on airtel connections kindly do replay what I am supposed to do and let me know when my account will be activated.
            I obtained a pre paid connection on the 12 th of May at a retail outlet near my residence at Coimbatore submitting all relevant documents as required by the law. the same was activated the next day the 13th of May. My number was active for 44 days upto june 24th. then there was a message asking me to submitt my proof of identity, I keep touring and when not in the state I reached a airtel outlet in Bangalore and asked them regarding this. they said that they cannot do anything and they wanted me to submitt the same only in Tamilnadu. I completed my tour and returned to find my mobile totally dead and the display reading unregistered sim. When approached none could give me a proper reply here at coimbatore and was abriptly said nothing could done. their customer went on to say that their staff who had been to our residence could not get proper reply, which is foolish as many including me who have aairtel prepaid have never been verified. I have mentioned in my application itself about my postpaid Airtel number. After my complaint to the nodal officer I recd a reply asking me to visit their local office at Coimbatore, where again I was taken for a ride. after my second complaint about the lethargic approach of their staff, I was asked to come to their office to collect the new sim, which I promptly heeded to the next day the 2nd of Aug. I was handed over a new sim and was told that the same will activated on monday that is today. It is 18:30 hrs and yet it has not been activated. Can anything be done on this.

              We are using the Airtel Digital TV from Dec'2009 and had sever issues with this from past few days. The TV has completly not working from 19th June'10, we had registed complaint on 19th June and we got info that it will be solved on the same day by 6.00 PM. But the issue is still not resolved even today(29th June'10)

              Every day we are trying for the Customer Care, but seen no movement of the issue even an inch.

              Response of the Customer Care:
              1. We will transfer the Call to Technical Person please be in line (afterwards the call got disconnected)
              2. Server not good please call after half an hour
              3. We will discuss with the concern area Manager and will call you and update with in an Hour.
              4. Will call you with an Hour and also send the Technician today.

              Every day we are getting the above response. We had activate the NEO Sports channel for watching the Asia Cup, but we did not see even a single match and the Series has also completed.

              The main issue is The Connection for us is given to some other Dish instead of our Dish, When thoise people remove their dish our TV is not working
              Least response from the customer care and the Techonology also not good, not getting the signal properly even in a Good weather.

                I had booked for an Airtel DTH connection on the 26th of June thru my mobile phone([protected]) and had made the payment thru IVR(CreditCard). Your CC associate , Mr Alok had promised installation in 48hrs, still I am waiting for a call/confirmation.scheduling of the Installation. And also I have called innumerable times your CC no's , but I am given some or other unbelievable replies like 'you have to book thru agent only', call other no, will forward to installation team, a call will come in 10min etc etc etc.

                Hi,

                I had booked Airtel DTH connection on the 28th Aug thru online mode as per below details. Despite calling to the DSL and the Airtel helpline many times( Service request Number: 3441466) and with assurance that it will be installed within 24 hrs? still there is no updates when it will be installed.

                Already 120hrs have passed with no communication ?.

                Kindly get the installation done at the earliest or refund my payments.

                # To Dear Customers, Pls do not book the AIRTEL DTH connection even by mistake, their Customer care is horrible. Take my word for it, I have experienced for the last few days.

                Take The Internet Back — Unpaid dues

                I like to report Take The Internet Back (www.taketheinternetback.com) as a scam. I have been with this site for more than a year now and have confirmed almost 2000 mails. Yet, I haven't been paid. Earlier, when I used to send a message to the admin, I used to always get a "standard" response. Now, however, I don't get any response.

                Therefore, I would advise all individuals to stay away from this site. Do not waste your time here.

                      I am Shivaprasad, I want to disconnect my chennai postpaid connection([protected]), as i have moved to bangalore, I'm in no longer use of the service.I ve sent mail to [protected]@airtelindia.in, but the mail request is getting cancelled.I dont no wat to do, the custumer center people or the relationship center people, say they dont have option to cancel the connection and instruct to drop a mail to [protected]@airtelindia.in , i have sent mail many a times, but the request is getting cancelled automatically.kindly look into this request

                        I have a airtel broadband connection which I wanted to keep in safe custody because I was moving out of my home for 2 months due to rennovation. To apply for the saem first I called customer care of airtel and they misguided me to an airtel office for the same. After reaching the airtel office I came to know that the procedure was to pay some safe custody amount at the main hub of airtel relationship centre. I did exactly what I was asked to and paid an amount of Rs 400 for a month. I was given a request number 33786718 and I was told that my request has been processed successfully. After a few days, I was surprised to see that I have received a bill of Rs 1100 for the same month. If my account was kept in safe custody then how come I was billed for the same month. This is highly irresponsible behaviour.

                        I am attaching a copy of the receipt which I had got after paying the safe custody amount.

                        To add to my misery when I called the customer care department they told me the amount of safe custody is not Rs 400(This amount was told to me by their department while taking my request).

                        They told me that the amount is Rs 550. They want me to go to their office again and pay the difference amount. This is highly irritating. They told me that its their mistake but they canot do anythign about it. I will have to bear the inconvinience. They did not even apologise. Their attitude is as if they are serving for free. AIRTEL has sadly become a MAFIA.

                            I had applied for a mobile connection from airtel, for which necessary document was provided & physical verification was also done, Because of some goo[censored]p from their side, they wanted to re-do physical verification which i refused. They have now refused to handover the documents collected from me as it is susceptible to be misused.

                            Airtel Mobile Service — verification of documents

                            Hi

                            on the 25th of October, I received a sms saying that my documents are not complete and services will be stopped if I do not submit them in 48 hours. I submitted a net set the very next day and got a confirmation message from Airtel thanking me for the response. The time was 9.49A.M on 26th October. Yesterday, when I tried to my call, I got a message saying that I have not submitted the documents and I should do so in 36 Hours. In the morning, my Simcard was deactivated - The message was "the registration failed'. The local Airtel office said that they cannot help, but gave a number for the nodal office. Nobody picked up the phone there even after repeated attempts.,

                            Then I called 121, A series of excuses were given:
                            documents not submitted.
                            Address is wrong
                            No outgoing calls were made in last three months.


                            All of the above are false.

                            What is happening? Are the Airtel employees trying to get new connections by dectivating the old connection?

                            Should we take them to the consumer court?

                              I am using Airtel prepaid connection ([protected]) from about past 1 year. There was an add regarding Java games from Airtel. There was an option in the add to view the offers.
                              As soon as i clicked on that option, a message arrived from Airtel which said "Thanks for downloading JavaGame from Airtel Live WAP Service. You have been charged Rs. 99. Enjoy '(link to download some game)' ". It was really painful to get such a message. They havn't even written anywhere that if I click on that option then I will be charged 99 Rs or like that. After reading the message when I checked my balance, they have deducted 99 Rs. After that I called Airtel customer care and then also they said that they can't do any thing regarding this. Inquire about this ASAP. We earn the money by working hard and these people take it within seconds, I cant bear it. If you cant do anything, Gimme the code to deactivate such a nuisance.

                              I am a subscriber of Airtel for the past one year so and my number is [protected]. My problem is that so i got a message telling that i have downloaded a Java game and an amount of Rs.50 has been deducted from my account balance. But the thing is that i have never downloaded any game or din't go to any site to download any game. . So i would like you to throw some light over this matter and tell me what the problem exactly is. Whenever i call the customer care or the complaint center, their response has been very poor and sub-standard, at times they even bluntly cut the call which is a very worrying issue.

                              So i would like you to look over as soon as possible and rectify this issue over the number provided and refund my amount.

                                My whole village (village-Luhawad tehsil-Piplda distt - Kota Rajasthan) is an Airtel consumer bt we have network problem. Network problem is due to owner(farmer) of tower . In village we don't have sufficient light bt Thanks to Airtel so that it provide generator bt owner uses generator for his own purposes not for tower and we have network problem.
                                Sir i request u to solve our problem and expecting it to solve it as fast as possible otherwise we have to move away from hamara chaheta airtel.

                                  My concerns:
                                  1. I have received court notice form Mr. Parthasarthy Advocate on behalf of Airtel on[protected] stating that I have a due of Rs.1388, and they requested me to come for a compromisation discussion on[protected].
                                  2. I called up on Mr.Parthasarathy’s office on[protected], and fixed up an appointment on[protected] for the compromisation discussion.
                                  3. During my discussion I found the court notice was served to me has no clear evidence and the advocate’s office was not able produce any document as well , and also the Airtel representative is not available for compromisation discussion.
                                  4. I have disconnected phone numbers, which are mentioned in the court notice on[protected], and all the dues are settled on the same date (Details enclosed).
                                  5. On top of that Airtel refunded Rs.933.49 in three checks in different duration (Details Enclosed).

                                  I would like to approach this issue legally, on following factors:
                                   Till today Airtel has not approached me either in person or by phone call in this regard. Where as they have mentioned in the court notice: “in spite of several reminders and personal follow up I have not paid this due amount”, Which is totally wrong and has no base as well.
                                   As per the notice, if i have due for Airtel on what basis and why they are refunding the money to me, need explanation.
                                   Even though there is no mistake from my side, as a true and loyal customer of Airtel and I respected their court notice to visit their lawyer for a compromisation discussion to close this issue in an amicable manner but, they have not respected my time and effort and they have hurt me beyond a point which is not acceptable.
                                   I have been in relationship with Airtel for more than seven years (Even now, I am holding an Airtel number as well) and I have paid all my bills with out any dues till today.

                                   I have been fighting with Airtel form the day one, for poor reception (signal) for several years, being a corporate customer & IT Professional; I used to receive lot of official calls (National & (International). Due to poor reception at my home I always taking calls from outside of my house (literally standing in middle of the road). I am sure providing good reception is the fundamental responsibility of Airtel. (Refer Airtel Poor Signal Compliant word document)

                                   In spite of my several reminders, e-mails , personal complaints till now, there is no response I am still this same issue. In fact I wrote email to Nodal officer as well. Till today there is no response from airtel in this regard.
                                   If airtel would have concentrated on resolving this issue(poor signal strength) rather than complaining about me , it would have been really grateful.
                                   I am looking for a compensation legally ,to substantiate the pain and the mental harassment which I have been through for several years from Airtel

                                  Airtel Post Paid — Billing issue

                                  i have been using the airtel no [protected] since september 2007. i got Mobile Office(GPRS) activated on my no in february 2008 for which i was being charged 499 per month and it included free downloading. it worked properly till july 2008. since july i have received many SMS's on my no stating that something (either game or wallpaper or theme, etc) has been downloaded from the Airtel Live for which i have been charged for 99 or 50 or 30 or 15 or 10 or 7 or 3 for which i never opted for or did any msg for. i have received more than 200 msgs regarding this and the amount for the same reached near about 10, 000.

                                  i contacted the customer care department of Airtel, and they suggested me to get my Airtel Live service De-Activated so that if in case i still keep on receiving the msgs, the amount will be deducted from the final bill. i got my Airtel Live service de-activated on 17th september 2008. i still kept on receiving the msgs of same nature. when the bill for the month of september was generated, the amount was not deducted as told to me by the customer care department.

                                  same thing continued for the month of october as well. i again contacted the customer care depatment but they told me that i will have to pay the full bill.

                                  i just want the answer from the airtel that if some onne has already de-activated his service then how is it possible for anyone to use that service any how?

                                  I am also got a new Airtel postpaid mobile numbers from Airtel dealer Greentel of Tirupur. They have collected my address proof and also Rs.645 for activation charge and also for Golden number.

                                  I am not at all started using this number and simply they send a SMS that the number is barred like that.

                                  I got shocked and it seems that they cheated me and now I am here to complaint about them.

                                  They called me and told that they need another Rs.500 then they will activate the number again like that.

                                  Its really BAD that AIRTEL and their showroom is cheated me and also another one who already filed a case here.

                                  So AIRTEL is started cheating the customer and earn more on this way I think so. Please be careful before go with a Connection with the Airtel or from GreenTel. Don't pay anything in advance they will surely cheat.

                                  FIrst one is Billing issue, Pls verify your Itemised bill for your Billing clarification - Airtel is not chating anybody, Green tel is not printing any Bills to the customer for collecting Bill payments.

                                  Second person is a negative case any Postpaid customer have a verfication and the person who is not responding the verfication which comes down negative and line going to suspended . which is followed by all telecom peoples.

                                    I asked for Airtel DigitalTV connection couple of months back. Airtel DigitalTV team put me on an IVR and asked to pay the full amount to take the DigitalTV request. I found the system secure enough, so i paid through their online IVR system using my credit card. My customer id is: [protected]

                                    After few days, airtel engineer came home to install the dish. However, he dint find the Line Of Sight for installation. He prepared the report and asked me to contact Airtel DigitalTV support team.

                                    I launch a support case, case no: [protected], with airtel and submitted all the necessary documents including NO LINE OF SIGHT report. They assured me to refund my money. However, its more than two months, i have not recieved any money. I tried reaching to them many times, but now no one answeres my case, nor repling to my mails.

                                    AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Refund not given

                                    I want to return my AIRTEL DIGITEL TV setup. They are not ready to give my refund amount.Please advise

                                      My nightmare with Airtel Digital TV seems to be unending. Finally when I got the digital TV re-installed on 24th June after continuous follow ups for 10 days I thot now atleast things wud be fine. But I was wrong, within 15 mins of re-installation the channels went off and I got the message "Please recharge your account to resume your service"
                                      I had already paid for a pack for one year in Oct-Nov 2009 and above that too I still have balance in my account so this problem makes no sense.

                                      I have called up the customer care everytime since that day and everytime I got the assurance that it would be resolved in the next 20-24 hrs but still nothing has changed. I've spoken to their customer care executives, their technical support and everone but the result is a BIG ZERO.

                                      The last thing I can think of is raising a formal complaint against them in the consumer court and taking this matter to higher authorities if this issue is not resolved today.

                                      To everyone, "Never trust the Airtel people and DO NOT BUY AIRTEL DIGITAL TV esp. if you are in Gurgaon.
