Airtel Digital TV customer ID: [protected]

I purchased digital tv connection on 13th March

On 23rd April, I upgraded my connection to DVR (recorder). I paid 6990 for the connection and I was supposed to get Rs 1000 cash back into my account within 7 days as I was UPGRADING my account and am an existing customer as per the offer. Its been 2 months but yet I haven't received my cash back.

I called Airtel and opened a complaint. However both the times, they closed my SR by saying that I have 2 connections so I am not eligible for this. SR 2682808 and 2743150. I only have 1 connection and they keep on saying I have 2 connection.

I escalated the issue and they sent a customer service rep to my house to check. They confirmed that I had only 1 connection and they figured out the problem also. The old set top box that I had returned was never entered in the system. They told me that it shall be taken care within 2 days. It's been almost 10 days now but no update on this.

Nitesh from Airtel head office in Delhi was helping me for some time but now he is also not reachable. His number: +91-[protected]

My case is :- on 31 May 2010 I tried to recharge Airtel Digital TV with the help of SBI mobile banking. For that purpose I went to M-Commerce -> Merchant Payment -> I put merchant name as DigitalTV -> Merchant Data as [protected] -> Amount Rs. 100/- -> Debit from account -> Select Account to be Deducted My primary account.

Then I receive SMS "Request accepted for processing payment of Rs 100 to DigitalTV Code=949 Tid=[protected]" from Sender AD-SB-MS Received: 07:16:17am 31/05/2010

After that I receive the SMS "Rs 100 received for DigitalTV Transaction Successful OxiTransID-[protected](0) Tid=[protected]" from Sender AD-SB-MS Received: 07:16:25am 31/05/2010

Rs. 100 deducted from my SBI bank account Narration "TO TRANSFER
MB[protected] [protected]-->OXIGEN 310510 " Ref. No. "TRANSFER TO[protected]" Debit: 100

I contacted customer care executive of SBI on [protected] . The CCE suggested me to contact to Customer Care Executive of Airtel Digital TV. I contacted on 12150. He asked me that the case is under scrutiny and gave me the reference number as 2902980.

Till date I contacted CCE of Airtel Digital TV at least 10-12 times. Each time they said my complaint was closed. They asked me to mail the bank statement I mailed it 1 customer care executive told me that the issue will be solved within 48 hours. When it was not solved I contact senior customer care executive he told me that the issue will be solved within 72 hours. Now after five days of that I am posting my complaint to consumer complaints.

    My Airtel Digital tv Customer Id is [protected]. As per above there was an offer from trip advisor site to review 3 hotels and we will get Rs. 250 recharge within 21 working days. I reviewed 3 hotels as per the offer before closing date i.e 20 th May. The offer closed on 20th May 2010 and since then it has been a month and haven't received any recharge or intimation from either airtel or trip advisor. I complained on airtel customer care many times but was in vain.
    Are they cheating, is this fake??

      These two person are calling me on 23rd June 201 as they are telling me before we give your lowetry amount of rs.10,00,000 i need to pay ofrs.15600 service tax, how can person believe on any one for this?
      This is cheat to normal humanbings, please take strict action for the same.

      Would request you to please look in too the matter as 10,00,000 is not small amount if i won lowetry.

      Airtel service provider to my mobile — company is fleecing me of my money

      Hi,
      Actually I do not know whether anyone from Airtel will read this at all! Most probably no one will.
      I am being sent cricket updates in spite of its being deactivated by the Airtel people themselves!! Today, to add insult to my injury, I got a thank you mail from VAS!!
      I do not know whom to contact now to deactivate the 'cricket updates'. I am being charged for this thing in spite of repeated deactivations, and they are taking away my money!!!
      Oh! God! Please make the concerned Airtel authorities see to the huge amount of complaints and especially my complaint. (I don't know whom else to pray to!)

      Airtel Mobile — No action after logging complaint to Airtel

      I have activated GPRS on my phone but I am not able to access the service after few days of activation. Its stopped automatically. There is no response from Airtel. I have called 121 which is customer care number several times. They always told that senior supervisor get back to me within half hour but there is no response. Its been harassment to me to call every time. I have called more than 15-20 to customer care. The customer care really sucks. They don't even trained on how to speak with customer. Is there any provision that I can complain to TRAI on this. Airtel service is a service and no more licensed need to given to Airtel and I rate Airtel zero if I have to rate. Its my kind request to all people never to use Airtel connection. Its been a below standard service provider. The amount of money they are investing on Ads hiring SRK or other biggies if a few percentage of that Bharti Brothers have invested on service then they might have more subscriber. I don't know how to get rid of this.

      Airtel, Mumbai — Calls for payment already done.

      I am a user of Airtel. And i have a compliant against getting harrassing calls. My mother, Shilpa Padhye, was having a post paid connect with Airtel, [protected]. We have disconnected this connection in Dec 2008. In Sept - Oct 2008, i was using this number and made the payment for billing amount in 1st week of Nov 2008. As i was out of India for 5 months, my mother didnt have the receipt of the payment. And your executive kept calling her for payment. I did the payment at Airtel outlet at Old Panvel. Its been 5 months that she is receiving such calls. Every month Ms. Shweta, who calls, bargains for payment. Last she told my mother to settle it for Rs. 130 against 1100/- odd amount outstanding.

      Today I received a call from Ms. Shweta and she said she is calling from legal dept of Airtel. I think as a customer i am not to be treated like this. I am still using Airtel in Hyderabad. Its really been a nightmare to deal with this lady and also her manager who are irrational and rude. They tell me to go and check my records. If Airtel does not have record then its your internal issue. Please check with your airtel outlet rather that troublling my old mother. Its unethical. People go absconding without making payment, we have been decent enough to answer your calls.

      Its enough of such harrasment and i do not want any such cheap collections calls for the payment done. You can check my earlier record for this number. We have always paid on time. And your people are treating us like this.

      Airtel, Mumbai — Unfair and illegal charges

      I had activated Tashan services on my phone. I somehow decided to discontinue that I deactivated the same and got confirmation by sms from Airtel that the service has been deactivated. I confirmed on 7th July 2009 that no services were active on my cell. I have preserved sms received from Airtel.

      Today, I again received an sms that I am charged Rs. 20/- for a week for Tashan. I called up 121 and spoke to Rahul of Airtel and told me that Tashan was still active.

      I told him that I have received sms from Airtel confirming that tashan was still discontinued. I asked him to reverse the charges, to which he refused.

      Ultimately, I have discontinued Airtel immediately. I will not like to continue with a company which charges me unnecessarily and refuses to accept its faults.

      Airtel company — MENTAL HARRESMENT BY RECOVERY PEOPLE

      Sir,
      We are using airtel phone from last 9 to 10 years, regularly we are paying the payments to airtel, but as all over slump in export market, our work and payments are realising slow, we have total outsatanding with airtel Rs 43000.00, but Airtel Exectives were coming to us for the payments and we have 3000.00 out of it, also for payments we are going abroad two times in one month, but we never denied for the payments, but airtel recovery manager calling from chandigrah tel no :[protected], here one lady called to our relatives that, they are not giving the payment to us, and making us insult in front of them, also on pralel side, she is sending exectuives to our home, Mr Ajay kuteria his mobile no is[protected] to collect the mobile payment, actually this number is from our mother name and she is already outside the country from last 8 to 9 months, we are using her number on her behalf, my self and my wife, we never denied from the payments, also we remain good customer of airtel, but putting this mental harresment on us is not lawful and manner ful, our constitution has made the court if payment is not recovered not start using abusing words, and making insult of client, this method of taking payment is not wriiten anywhere in the constitution, we start making the insult of the client to recover the payment by mentally harrising the client, so we want that employee to call for appologize to finish the matter here.

      Airtel India — number inactive

      i have made the full payment and when i call airtel they said number will be activated in 15-20 mins...but more than 12 hours has been passed and my number is still inactive and they cut my number...when i'm calling my number its saying...the airtel number you are calling doesn't exist....i want these airtel to suied...they have make my life like hell...i'm waiting for more than 12 hours and there is no response form their side....i have to call airtel customer support from my vodafone mobile that is chargable.....really these guys sholud be suied...and must give penality..

      Airtel — Airtel is a cheater(re-complaint)

      I am Vikas Mudgal,my airtel no. is [protected].Its shocking the fall in quality of Indias largest mobile operator AIRTEL.They have grown too big and have no concern for old loyal customers of 6 years.
      I have lodged a similar complaint few days back but i am still suffering. What a callous attitude.The list of complaint numbers is too large,but all in vain.
      I am fed o[censored]r network & its customer care.

      On 13 feb 2010,i made a blunder of a mistake i.e, i tried to get subscribed with unlimited internet upto 2gb per month by [protected]@rs.98.

      which is yet to be activated till date & my balance keeps on deducting.

      He said that my number has won this amount of Rs. 25 Lac and have to purchase Dish TV recharge vouchers of Rs. 9700, and tell them the voucher numbers.
      after that Mr. Sunil verma will meet you in the near by bank wher you have your account and will deliver a cheq or cash of rs. 25 Lac.

      Unfortunately my mother did this and now no body is responding from there side, and the are demanding of more 18000 Rs. as tax amount.
      I request you to please help us out.

      I have two cell connections of Airtel & I am facing lot of balance dedustion problem on both the service number, [protected] & [protected].       i am a airtell mobile user, my mobile NO is [protected], I have been calling customer service on 198 at chennai, i hve put a booster on 4th of june for 97 Rs.rate cutter to make Airtel calls at 10ps. since friday last, when i am making calls to customer service for asking them to restart the booster pack back, the response is very bad and they are just disconnecting the call halfway through the call, this shows how the Airtell takes care of its customers, i did not expect a response from a company like Airtel. if this is the way you respond to customer, i am sorry, but to say that i may have to change the service provider. awaiting a positive response. hari bhatia

      Dear People,
      Never trust airtel. They are cheats. I had given a cancellation notice to airtel and they haven't taken it. after few months they had come up with some bill and they are threatning to go to court if payment is not made. They are not able to show any proof but they blindly argue. If you are dealing any thing with airtel get a written confirmation from them. Never discuss any thing with them on phone as they cheat a lot. I am one of the victim and sharing my experinece with you. They have charged me for the services which I didn't use.

      Airtel Company — Inactive my SIM Card and Rs. 65 loss

      I had receive a call from +[protected] in my Mob.No. [protected] on[protected] , while conversation it is said that you had won the amount of Rs.15 lakhs. And after that it was said that to fulfil the procedure you have to deposite Rs.49,000.00 ,in A/c No.[protected].
      After Conversation I had agreed to deposite Rs.25,000.00 and I had deposited the same amount in the said A/c No. in S.B.I. C.M.P.D.I. Branch Ranchi.

      Till now I am not received the prize amount Rs.15 lakhs.I think I was have been cheated ,and please take some desire action on complaint.

      hi, has anyone checked for their office address as i have received a call today regarding the lottery of 25 Lacs and has been asked to pay 22500 INR for the transfer of the entire amount. If anyone is from Mumbai, they can go and check for the address which is Airtel Office, main City, bandra. Unfortunately I am from Delhi and cannot reach there to check.
      This is embarrassing for Airtel. After receiving these many complaint there is no action. Even I received call from Vishal[protected]. After refusing the proposal also the the person is not stopping. Vishal said he is from bandra, airtel head office and my number airtel number has own 25 lacs and then gave a number - [protected] saying this is his supervisor's number.

      I realize that while talking to this person i lost 36 rupees on just 2min 56sec and what would be the charge of next number (if i call). This is humble request to airtel people, plz take action on such advertisement. (No action means they also involved in such scam)

        hello sir,
        i had purchased airtel prepaid sim card [protected] on 11th june 2010 i had given my id proof and photo sim activated on next but on 22 june service gets deactivated without any intimation once called 198 customer care they told that deactivation due id proof and address mismatch they gave me some address in which given , and they told me to ask the sim dealer,i asked dealer about that he told me there chance of mistake with distributor or ils something, i dont know where my photo and id proof went . still i dont know to should i ask?

          MY CUSTOMER ID IS [protected]
          I am writing you and warn u how a company like AIRTEL doing wrong commitments with their consumers
          Please read all details from beginning to till date. On dated 18/5/2010 time 16:30hrs. I called at 12150 and enquired about DTH PLAN & TARRIF, at other end the person I spoken with is Pritam Singh he told me all details and when I told him that I will think and let him know later on he told me that since I am existing customer of Airtel, he has a very good DTH offer @ Rs. 999/- with 4 month subscription free of 162 channels. I found this very attractive and asked him how to proceed he told you can pay right now through Credit or Debit Card and I paid money thorough my ICICI Credit Card as he instructed me online. After payment he given me transaction ID No. 8844814 On 20/5/2010 the system installed at my place. Ok as he promised 162 channels, I found less but no complaint by me.

          Now I am mentally tortured when I receipt a message from Airtel DTH on dated 12/13 June that your balance is such and expiry date is 18/6/2010 immediately after receiving this message I started contacting to Airtel customer care numbers i.e.198, 121, and 1800…. ……..And lastly one gentleman told u contact at 12148. I spoken on 14/5/10 on this no. and narrated my entire story at other end some one told me we will resolve this within 24 hrs or so. I could not note down his name on this date as I am confident because I am using Airtel mobile so long I never faced any problem.

          On 15/6/2010 I again called at 12148. on 12:05 hrs and talk with lady named Meenakshi all details then she taken on line one Mr. Alfred he again listen my all story and said will get back on evening. Till date waiting his response.

          On 16/6/2010 time 14:00 hrs. I call again at 12148 then phone attended by Shashikant I asked him about my query he disconnected the line.           My only concern is that they are a Company not a shopkeeper who made false promises then backs out. But if they behave like this then AIRTEL WILL BECOME HISTORY SOON.

          I am writing you and warn u how a company like AIRTEL doing wrong commitments with their consumers
          Please read all details from beginning to till date. On dated 18/5/2010 time 16:30hrs. I called at 12150 and enquired about DTH PLAN & TARRIF, at other end the person I spoken with is Pritam Singh he told me all details and when I told him that I will think and let him know later on he told me that since I am existing customer of Airtel, he has a very good DTH offer @ Rs. 999/- with 4 month subscription free of 162 channels. I found this very attractive and asked him how to proceed he told you can pay right now through Credit or Debit Card and I paid money thorough my ICICI Credit Card as he instructed me online. After payment he given me transaction ID No. 8844814 On 20/5/2010 the system installed at my place. Ok as he promised 162 channels, I found less but no complaint by me.

          Now I am mentally tortured when I receipt a message from Airtel DTH on dated 12/13 June that your balance is such and expiry date is 18/6/2010 immediately after receiving this message I started contacting to Airtel customer care numbers i.e.198, 121, and 1800…. ……..And lastly one gentleman told u contact at 12148. I spoken on 14/5/10 on this no. and narrated my entire story at other end some one told me we will resolve this within 24 hrs or so. I could not note down his name on this date as I am confident because I am using Airtel mobile so long I never faced any problem.

          On 15/6/2010 I again called at 12148. on 12:05 hrs and talk with lady named Meenakshi all details then she taken on line one Mr. Alfred he again listen my all story and said will get back on evening. Till date waiting his response.

          On 16/6/2010 time 14:00 hrs. I call again at 12148 then phone attended by Shashikant I asked him about my query he disconnected the line.               I was having Airtel Dish since last three years or so.Customer ID[protected].In the last week the channels were over-lapping and no clear picuture was available on
              my TV. I have made comlaint in the last week of April 2010.It is stated that it may be
              a local problem,get chacked dish and cable connection.it was found accurate.There was problem in set-top box.They didn't depute any technician to check.Ultimately
              I have taken fresh connection of Airtel at the cost of Rs.l597/ on 5th may 2010.And
              on 3rd may I had informed that pl.discontinue my services and refund blance which
              was Rs.169//They are refusing even they are not prepared to add that balnce in my
              present connection which is obtained in the identical name and place.From this
              con I have received plathoria of incorrect messages stating that there is no sufficient
              balance and services may be discontinued.One incident is surprising to-day I have
              made recharge of Rs.100They have confirmed but they have admitted this recharge
              in old ID.In past I had not made in recharge for espn although I had recieved sms
              stating that top-up has been made and deduction of Ra.30/-+tax was deducted from
              my balance.On complaint they have accepted that the re-charge pertains to some
              Hariyana customer.But they did not allow reverse credit.Not even started channel
              espn.On the first day it was made clear to them that I am not going to order for
              film or top-up.I am only interested in small value Rs.127/ +taxes,therefore ignore
              any top-up.
              2. On the facts stated above,I have to request you to do something to help me
              because I am aged 70years and not keeping well.

                I, Bimal Kumar Naulakha (Jain) have purchased AIRTEL DTH service 1½ to 2 months before from your Siliguri office. My customer id is [protected] as referred above. Since 17th June 2010 the service is totally off. Then and there we made a complain to your office vide complain no 3066041 & 3095369. But till now nobody has attended the complain even after our daily follow ups. Every time they are replying that ‘Service executive is out of Station’, ‘today is raining heavily,’ ‘Our executive will meet you tomorrow’ and so on. They have thousand of excuses but no time to visit customer place once for necessary rectification to the service. This is surprising and not expecting from an organization like Airtel. This type of negligence cannot help to run your business of DTH service smoothly.

                In any case we are terribly disappointed with your after Sales Service and decided to terminate the connection with immediate effect. So we request you to inform us about the process of termination and how fast we can be detached from your connection. I strongly recommend never buying AIRTEL DTH connection to every one those who shows interest by watching our connection.

                Hope you will at least inform us the process of disconnection to me at the earliest. For further details feel free to contact the undersigned.

                  Since then again I regeistered 2 complaints for reinstalltion.

                  Called Customer Care 8-10 times since 16/06/10 . every time I assure to resolve the issue by EOD . ( its a Weeks time now ) .

                  Still awaiting for their defination of EOD ( End Of the Day )

                      I am a customer of Airtel. My mobile No. is [protected]. Company has activated a WOMENPORTAL pack and deducted Rs.30/- from my balance. I received their message Dated- 18.8.2012. This they have done without my consent. They have automatically activated the pack.
                      This is totally fraud with me. If they not refund the deducted balance than I have change the Airtel service on my mobile.
                      I want them to return my account balance as soon as possible and I just want stop all additional services.
                      I am very disappoint about their services.

                      I had purchased mobile internet services for Rs.125 from the Airtel website on 26/10/14. The service offered mobile internet of 525MB which would be valid for 30 days. This morning (9/11/14) I received a message from Airtel saying that my mobile internet had been deactivated and hence they have been deducting from my main balance. I called up Airtel customer service and asked them about it. In the first call, they said that the problem was with my phone and not their service. I checked my phone and it was working alright. I called them again. They said that I had recharged from some other private site and they were not liable for it. However, I had recharged from the Airtel site only. The third time I called I gave them my airtel recharge transaction id in spite of which they said that I had not recharged at all and their data does not show any proof of my transaction. When I called for the fourth time, they said that I had recharged but however, the validity of the service was only for 14 days and hence it had expired. The service is still available on their website and it clearly shows 30 days validity. I have been harassed by Airtel customer service with each of them giving completely distinct responses on the same issue. Due to this I have not only been unable to use the mobile internet pack which I spent Rs.125 on, I also lost Rs.50 from my main balance despite having proof of my recharge being done on the above mentioned date. I had to recharge again in order to activate the services again. This is the 4th problem I have faced with Airtel in the past 3 months.

                          This is to pointout the Scam pratices performed by Airtel DTH and the harassment and mental torture caused by them to their consumers.

                          I applied for a 999 Rs. Connection via online contact form at Airtel's website. I received a call the next from the Airtel Executive and made the purchase for a 999 connection and multiple room connection for 1750.

                          Date of Payment: May 27th 2010
                          Transaction id: 8974827 – (999 Rs Connection)
                          Transaction id: 89744899 – (1750 Rs Connection)

                          Waited patiently till June 5th, no one contacted me or came for a Installation. On 6th June I contacted Airtel toll free no. [protected] and complained about the connection.

                          I was assured an installation and call back soon.

                          Till June 9th no response from Airtel DTH. Once again I contact Airtel DTH customer care, This time I get my customer id.: [protected]

                          Also I am given a complain number this time 3011821. The executive assured me a installation on June 10th and also passed me the mobile number of their local installation company. [protected] - Mobile No.: OASIS Services

                          OASIS services don't attend calls at all. I tried contacting them more than 10 times on June 10th but anyone failed to answer at their number.

                          June 12th – I speak to senior executive at Airtel DTH toll free no. 3028453 : complaint no / Sr.Executive name: Prabhat , I threaten him for a cancellation and request for a refund.

                          Executive begs for 'One more chance' I am assured a call back from him and also installation the next day. (- Got No Call back or any response.)

                          To this complaint number Airtel sends me sms stating: Your Service Request ref no. Is 3028453 for “Wrong Resolution(Domino)”

                          Wrong Resolution?? I haven't got a intallation yet and Airtel tells me I complained for Wrong Resolution.

                          June 14th - Same old story. I speak to senior executive at Airtel DTH toll free no.[protected] interaction number / Sr.Executive name: Sushant , I threaten him for a cancellation and request for a refund.

                          Executive begs for 'One more chance' I am assured a call back from him and also installation the same day by 2pm. (- Got No Call back or any response.)

                          June 14th – 3.50pm again at Airtel Toll free no. ... Again assured installation on June 15th / 3056485: Complaint number.

                          June 15th – No one arrives at my place. Called up Airtel DTH toll free no; Sr. Executive assured installation by 2pm.

                          June 15th – 3.50pm called up Airtel DTH toll free no; Sr. Executive says spoke to Area Manager, spoke to higher senior authority; assured installation within 1.5 hrs.

                          - No update, No Installation!

                          June 16th – I call up Airtel DTH toll free no; Speak to senior executive Poonam Singh. She assures a callback in 1hr.

                          No response for about 2.5hrs. I call up again and speak to her, she claims she was busy. Tells me spoke to my Area manager Gladwin George and says they are not allowed to install a connection Kharghar.

                          Why did Airtel tell me before accecpting my connection request that they can install the connection in my area?

                          I request for a cancellation.

                          Cancel Connection: Service Req No.: 3071530

                          I am assured a call back on June 17th around 3pm and need to explain the reason for disconnection.

                          June 17th – No Response from Airtel.


                          I am still waiting for my connection from May 27th 2010 ie., and for the refund or installation.

                          Stay away from Airtel DTH, its a scam company.

                          Hi Humm,

                          I agree with you on this. I have been with Airtel DTH from past seven months. Believe me I committed a mistake, instead of going in for a recharge, I by mistake on the Airtel DTH website purchase a new connection. It was 17th of June then, and till date I have been fighting for my money back.

                          I have written loads of emails have made calls everyday but there's absolutely no resolution. I have written email to Airtel presence as my last resort. I intend to talk to some lawyers or approach the consumer forum. This is totally unexpected, never dreamt that Airtel would provide such pathetic support to its DTH customers.
                          Airtel HD is a big scam. I strongly believe that Airtel doesn't have HD service and only to capture new customers they have rolled out the promotion. Kindly stay away from Airtel.

                          I have applied for HD and no one has come yet. After 7 days one person comes to our house. Attaches every thing for 5 mins and then says tha HD box is not working. How can someone know within 5 mins that HD box is not working. This was a trick easily understood by both me and my wife. The installer said that next day he would get a new box only to tell me that all boxes have bee sold out and i would need to wait.

                          Kindly go with Dish TV its good service...

                          I made blunder!!! I should have read complaint on internet before booking new Airtel HD DTH services. I booked new connection online on 30/8/2011 & so far what I got is only the customer ID No. [protected]. I contacted Customer Care on[protected] on several time but always got evasive reply. They asked me to contact Oasis Service on [protected] but this no. is always found to be either busy or switched off. When I insisted to know their Nodal Officer's contact no., they asked to contact one Mr. K Rao on[protected]. Here also I failed to speak in person as I always get to hear the recorded message & no one answer the call at any time of the day. When I tried again to contact Customer Care again, they simply disconnect the phone & refused to give any information. I do not know when installation would be carried out. I feel cheated & do not know what to do or whom to approach. My humble request to all new customer not to book Airtel DTH online as you are dealing with invisible entity. Airtel Customer Care simply refuse to give phone no. of any Officer or if you insist, they ensure that the no. shared to you is not working. I need to know how to get my money back or mobile no. of the concerned Airtel Manager.

                            There is signal loss and it shows error code B001 on very light Rain fall. Where as neighbour having Dish TV signal strength is more and no signal loss observed.

                            Please make signal more powerful so there are less chances of loosing it.

                              I am an Airtel customer for the last four & a half (4.5) years with the postpaid connections, bearing numbers [protected] & [protected]. With this in mind I opted for one more post paid connection, but for the last one & a half month, I have faced much harassment, which is being put forth as under:

                              1) Rent/lease agreement along-with the application & Rs 300 security deposit. I was provided with the number [protected] on 10/5/2010, which was activated on 11/5/2010.
                              2) I received a letter from airtel about my number ( [protected] indicating the plan etc
                              3) Subsequently I had to make half a dozen trips to your vendors place with several silly reasons that I have to sign in blue ink & lease agreement is not acceptable etc,
                              4) On 21/5/2010 the number stopped functioning & I received a bill No [protected]
                              dt 24/5/2010 amounting to Rs 149.30 for the number [protected], relationship
                              number [protected].
                              5) I then complained on 121 with my existing number [protected], I was asked to go to the vendor and get a new sim card & not to make this payment & either take back the deposit or take a new sim card.
                              6) Accordingly I submitted fresh set of documents which also included the income tax assessment order of the last year
                              7) Then before I could get the second sim card from the vendor, a representative from Airtel came to my residence for verification of my number [protected].
                              8) Even after 3 days of verification my number did not start functioning & I was compelled to take the 2nd sim card with number bearing [protected] which was activated on 8/06/2010.
                              9) After a few days I again got the message that I have to submit the documents.
                              10) I spoke to one Mr Tushar on 198, who on my insistence connected me to a higher officer one Mr.Shahid. He requested me to visit the vendor once again & resubmit the documents & also ensured that, there will not be any problem & the complaint number is F[protected].
                              11) Finally on 17/06/2010 all outgoing from my new number [protected] stopped functioning.
                              12) I received call on 18/06/2010 at 9:11 am from Airtel ([protected]) for verification of my new number [protected] and confirming that the documents submitted by me have been received by them & when I informed her that my outgoing has been deactivated. I was assured by her that it will be activated soon. Subsequently on 18/06/2010 my incoming also has been deactivated.

                              I have undergone tremendous mental harassment & financial loss in this period
                              due to uncertainty of my communication facility.

                              In view of the above if my connection is not restored within 24 hours, I may
                              be compelled to take necessary action as deemed fit.

                              It is disgusting to note that when 0n 18/06/2010, I got a confirmation call from Airtel regarding receipt of documents & the assurance provided over thephone that the activation would be made at the earliest & now asking for the documents again is just meaningless, This kind of treatment to an existing
                              customer is crossing all limits of harassment.

                              All the documents are with the Airtel relationship centre. However I am sending
                              the scanned copies as attached zip file. Hope the response from Airtel is positive by activating my number immediately. I am sending the scanned copy of the income tax assessment order which has already been submitted twice.

                              Airtel — outgoing call deactivated even after verification of residence

                              I P.Ramarao, My Mobile No. [protected] i bought one mobile with airtel connection .. i have already two times submitted my id proof and photos, but till today out going calls are not activate... please tell what is the problem... plase activate.. its very urgent... If you are not recieved my documents plase call to me.. i will come to head office ..
                              I have purchased my new Airtel post-paid card a week before. They told me someone from airtel will come to your house to verify residency details.

                              The person came & verified. But still I am not able to do outgoing calls even after 7 days.. I called customer care 5 times. Each time they said we are forwarding your complaint & give me request number of my compliant..they even told me someone will come again
                              for verification & asked me time suitable.

                              I got happy with the response but noone has come yet.
                              Now i am going to publish this in news-paper ...this was not what we expecting from airtel...its too much..

                              Sir, every recharge is a agreement between mobile service provider and consumer. If airtel is stopping sevices they need to refund the balance amount.

                                I am using Airtel number for last four years. I have also GPRS Connectivity. Regarding some GPRS issue i called to airtel customer care number 12118. That time their customer care representative told me to call from another number so they can check the problem. Then i tried to call from my friend number. i got a voice message that this call will be chargeable. This information is really shocking because i haven't get any message or mail from airtel that call to customer care is chargeable. If i tried from my number, this voice recorder is not there. it is connecting directly. Customer care is for assisting the the customer.not for making money centre. Bharti airtel exploting this service and making money out of this. Airtel have more 20 lakhs customer in allover india. if 20 lakhs people will called ontime in a month they will get a money 2000000 X .50 ps = Rs1000000/- apporx. without any effort. They charging money from the customers due to their problems. Why we should pay for getting their service. Please take this complaint as a serious issue and resolve ASAP.

                                Why do you need contact details? the above customer complaint is not just concerning one person. It is a duty of Service Provider to give TOLL FREE customer service. It seems airtel is playing with TRAI rules.

                                I sincerely wish TRAI should act strongly not just by STOPPING such charges, but also recovering all this money and should impose a hefty fine...!!!

                                  Airtel — without my knowledge some services are getting Activated and charged

                                  Feb 5th 2009 I got a message from Airtel that Missed call Alert has been activated And Rs 15 will be charged per month
                                  The same I spoke with Customer Care and also sent a mail to 121 but of no use
                                  Again Feb 14th 2009 I got a message from Airtel that Missed Call been activated And Rs 15 will be charged per month
                                  I really do not know why Airtel are activating the service without my request

                                  Agriculture Services has been activated without my knowledge. Even after complaining about it at their Office at Vasant Kunj, this service still continues and I am being charged unnecessarily for it. I want Airtel to stop this urgently please.

                                    I am Giridhar having Customer ID : [protected] taken a new Digital TV connection recently ( booked on 12th May 2010). While taking AIRTEL DTH service I contacted AIRTEL DTH customer care and got assurance that BHAKTI TV ( telugu religious Channel ) will be provided. Keeping trust and hope on AIRTEL DTH services I paid Rs 1791/- for 4 months of free service.

                                    With out any notice AIRTEL DTH changed my favourite channel (channel 529)to some other news channel. By doing this act I am very much upset and disappointed.

                                    Please take action for my favourite channel as AIRTEL DTH committed to me before I accept subscription.

                                    I am least bothered for AIRTEL DTH any other channel with out Bhakti TV.

                                    If AIRTEL DTH can not able to provide what I demand ( Bhakti TV ), I would like not to go with AIRTEL DTH Digital TV services any more and I also demand full return of my money with suitable compensation

                                    AirTel — not providing proper services

                                    i am a user of airtel since 6 years and now i am facing lot many problems regarding this connection. i activated my gprs of 250 monthly subscription and without any information another scheme was activated which deducted browsing charges from my balance. and on complaining about this problem to customer care executive they ask to deactivate the unknowing activated service and i was asked to wait for 48hrs till its deactivation. then after the time of 48 hrs that unknowing scheme was still there which kept on reducing my balance. when i called to the customer care executive centre somebody ask to do something else and some one asked to do something else. atlast they deactivated my 250 monthly subscription scheme without telling me. and when i again called they asked me to wait for 24 hrs. now this is a height of something that yo people keep on harrasing people with such idiotic answers. so either you people should give back the same amount of money being lost or dont misguide people.
                                    I too am a subscriber of Airtel DTH. I have taken this up after another DTH dumped the channel without notice. Unfortunately Airtel has proved NO better. I really doubt if Airtel does proper market study before taking this type of decisions. I know atleast a dozen families thoroughly disappointed by this decision of Airtel DTH. The only option seems to be to move out of Airtel now. The good old cable is much better in this regard. Atleast they don't remove the channels. Its high time a proper regulation is put in place so that customers are not inconvenienced like this.

                                    This is absolutely ridiculous approach by AIRTEL by removing the channel without consultation. There are many families who would like to watch Devotional channels rather than stupid News channels following Politicians. Common Sense should prevail. AIRTEL grow up !
                                    I am Kapil having Airtel DTH with Customer ID: [protected]. I have taken Airtel DTH exclusively for Bhakti TV 1 year back.

                                    Recently Bhakti TV has been removed from the telecast without prior notice. I called up Customer Care couple of times and the response is that Airtel representative will contact me. I am not sure when will that happen.

                                    I am very disappointed taking Airtel DTH. Expected good customer service from these guys, but they are not better than other DTH services.
                                    i am also very dissapointed with AIRTEL.my mother is asking for the bhakti channel almost every day since it has been removed.i request AIRTEL to restore the channel
                                    I am Udaykiran. Me too took Airtel connection because it satisfies my requirement of bhakti channels SVBC and BHAKTI TV. But I am disappointed Airtel removed that channel without any notice. We opted Airtel because of those channels.

                                    Airtel DTH Service — Continuous Interruption in DTH Services

                                    I myself compaint about the Airtel DTH services for the last few days that whenever I switch on of my TV then No Signal is always screened there. I complaint to Customer Care of Airtel DTH Service on 29.08.2011 and again complaint, they also lodged my complaint and also assure me within one or two day my service engineer visit your home. Sir, nine days elapsed but no one visit regarding my complaint, and further complaint/request no.11522850 dated 02.09.2011. I also suprise that service is failure due to technical problem but service charge/balance has been deducting everyday after complaining.

                                    This type of service is not tolerable anymore. I would request you to take stringent action against my request so that this type of happening will not occur in future.

                                    Airtel/Digital T.V — not providing the proper services as committed by the company

                                    As promised by airtel digital T.V that they converting my mega package into Ultra package on two Id's of digital T.V was not done .They did only on 1 ID and on the second they are saying the new package is not available after making many fake commitments and assurance which they gave over the phone i called them up 8 to 9 times every time they made a commitment to kill the time which airtel did not said at the time of changing the plan by a customer care executive name as pallavi now there senior executive varsha is saying that they cannot do so after killing my time money and the payment they deducted for ultra package earlier where as they did not inform me that it will not available for second ID i must not have changed my plan

                                      I have take AIRTEL IPTV connection for residential usage in 2009 by paying the installation charges. On 28th April 2010 I applied for shifting of IPTV connection to new premises. Shifting was promised in 3 working days. Time elapsed and shifting did not happen and hence I kept on calling AIRTEL IPTV CUSTOMER CARE for 20 days but nothing happened. Whenever I called the customer care I got a reply our servers are down now. I requested them to call me back when the servers are up to resolve the issue up on which they replied we cannot call the customer to resolve the problem. They never got back to me with any technical problems involved. Due to Unacceptable delays and poor services I wrote to AIRTEL IPTV NODEL OFFICER enplaning the above and asked for disconnection of IPTV services due to laps of services and refund the installation charges. They disconnected the IPTV services but then I got a regular bill like every month. Upon questioning them they reduced the bill as per shifting application date and I paid the same. Since then I haven't got any reply from nodal officer explaining the poor services and the return of installation charges due to poor services. I request you kindly take necessary action at the earliest possible date.

                                      From last 20 days I am just litening commitment from customer care and nothing happened with with the shifting. I am planning to request to disconnect my IPTV & DSL connection as it is taking too long.

                                      I was not expecting such poor service from AIrtel.

                                        Recently I took a Airtel prepaid mobile sim. Though I am able to call from the number but all the SMS which I am sending is getting failed. Every time it is showing Error and giving option to retry or cancel. I talked to Airtel customer care executive and she told me to check the SMS delivery settings.

                                        As per the settings,

                                        Validity Period - Maximum, Message Type - Text, Service Center - [protected] and Reply Path - No.

                                        Please look into the matter and resolve.
