CASE:- NEAR TO 10 NOV PRAMOD KR RATHORE came against my request for Broad Band connection in AIRTEL to my Residence with all Valid ID Proof form AIRTEL. Told to give 1500 in cash ,got form filled and took time of 7days to get same done. 5 members team visited after 5 days for laying the Line on which they failed. Hence they are not reverting to my request of Money Refund of 1500. Pls do the needfull

      Dear Sir,
      I have two Airtel mobile connections, but I am not getting Punjab tower signals at my address given above since last 25 days. A Airtel tower is situated at Village Ahlupur three KM from my residence. As known to me the same tower is not working due to non-payment of rent to the land owner. Being on border of Haryana I am forced to select the unwanted network.
      Please take my problem seriously, otherwise I will be forced to say good bye to Airtel. With Thanks.

      I am staying in Chennai.In our room we are not receiving the airtel tower properly.We had complained many times to the Customare Care but ther is no response.Also, we use Airtel Broad Band also past 3 months those service man also know the defect.For past 1 and half years i retain the same problem until now.So do the needfull to us to continue your services.It will be really thank full to you My mobile number is [protected].

        I am using Airtel DTH from October 2009. In January 2010 i have moved from Indore to Hyderabad. I have transferred my Airtel DTH from Indore to Hyderabad.

        After reaching Hyderabad i contacted Airtel customer care for Reinstallation of my Airtel DTH connection. On 17th February i called to Airtel DTH customer care for reinstallation, they have given me installation date of 20th February morning 10 AM. I have waited for the whole day but no one came.

        Again i have called customer care to check booking status, this time customer care told me that that there is no booking for my Airtel DTH connection, i have told them that i have already booked but they told me again that there is no booking detail. I have logged again my booking. This time they gave me booking date of 24th February 2PM, but again nobody came.

        I am surprised when I called to customer care they told me that my complaint is closed, how disgusting it is. My problem is not resolved and they closed my complaint. I again booked my complain this time they gave me date of 27 Feb 10 AM, then 28th Feb 10 AM & 6 PM. But same happen again no one came only I got calls from Airtel DTH delhi office. They told me that your problem will be resolved

        Then on 28th I gain call to customer care now they again me date of 1st March 2PM time, but again nobody came. I am totally frustrated with their services. On 1st March i again call to customer care & told him the whole situation & I also told then my complaint is already mailed by customer care executives, then he told me that none of your complaint is forwarded.

        How irresponsible they are. I am calling from last 2 weeks but there is no response, how badly they behave. Also I have de installed my Airtel DTH from Indore on 22nd January 2010 and till today i am not using their services but some 9 Rs is deducting on daily basis from Airtel DTH account.

        How they deducting amount until i am not using their services.

        I am mentally too much frustrated by their responses & without using their services they already deducted 100 Rs from my Airtel DTH account.

            Dear Sir,
            This refers to our data card MMX610P with AIRTEL No.[protected] connectivity problem since two months,I had have contactd several times to Airtel for slow speed after a month i got instruction from them to contact Micro MAx for this problem. Besides i had purchased this data card from Airtel then why should i contact to MicroMax.Being a service personnel i can't visit to Airtel and Micro Max every time.
            So i would like to request you?(Airtel) please solve my problem at your end why should i contac to Micro Max(Third party).I paid to you not to Micro Max so you should solve my problem at your end or refund my money.

            This refers to our data card connectivity problem since two months,I had have contactd several times to Airtel for slow speed after a month i got instruction from them to contact Micro MAx for this problem. Besides i had purchased this data card from Airtel then why should i contact to MicroMax.Being a service personnel i can't visit to Airtel and Micro Max every time.
            So i would like to request you?(Airtel) please solve my problem at your end why should i contac to Micro Max(Third party).I paid to you not to Micro Max so you should solve my problem at your end or refund my money.

              My landline no is[protected] & i reside in top floor.My complain is that ur linesman has illegally wired my terrace of other building occupants connection without the undersigned permission causing hardship & damaging my terrace wall.kindly remove other landline connection from my terrace wall immediately or i will left with no option to seek the door of law.The same request has been done to ur costumer care but they are not responding.Pl. treat the same as serious and look into at utmost urgent.

                Sir, I have not applied for "Ring Tone" service, but despite the fact the Ring Tone service has been activated on my number ([protected]), and charges of Rs. 100 (approx) have been deducted without my knowledge.

                I would request to get it stopped immediately and whoever has made this illegal practice from the Mobile Service Provider's (AIRTEL) side, that person may be punished and amount may be refunded to us immediately by the company.

                Airtel Prepaid Card — deduction of balance without being subscribed

                i have been charged by airtel number of times without being subscribed to any igmobi.com, rediffmail alert service and many others. in this regard I have lodged complaint to custumer care airtel services by they remain reluctant throughout.More than Rs.125 have been deducted from my balance without using any service or subscribing net service.

                Therefore it is humbly requested to refund the amount at the earliest or otherwise I will sue Airtel authorities before appropriate consumer forum .

                IN LAST 10 DAYS I HAVE RECEIVED TWO SMSS ' YOUR HELLO TUNE SUBSCRIPTION HAS BEEN RENEWED...' AND 7 RUPEES EACH HAS BEEN DEDUCTED FROM MY BALANCE. NOW TODAY MORNING I RECEIVE A MESAAGE STATING' THANKS FOR CALLING HEELO TUNES, YOUR SUBSCRIPTION FOR HELLO TUNE IS RENEWED'
                WHAT IS THIS???/ I HAVE NEVER CALLED!!! I NEVER SUBSCRIBED!!!
                AND LATER WHEN I TALK TO CUSTOMER CARE, I AM TOLD THAT THE RECORDS SHOW THAT A CALL WAS PLACED FOR HELLO TUNES AT 11 AM, SOMETHING!!! I NEVER CALLED, MY CELL IS NOT SHOWING ANY SUCH RECORDS, HOW COME ALL THIS CRAP IS HAPPENING!

                I REQUEST YOU TO PLEASE LOOK INTO THE MATTER ASAP & RECTIFY. MANY SUCH CASES HAVE HAPPENED TO MANY OF MY FRIENDS. IN TOTALITY AIRTEL IS LOOSING THE REPUTATION IT WAS KNOWN FOR. PLEASE LOOK INTO THEMATTER SERIOUSLY AND LET ME HAVE MY MONEY BACK.
                i have sim of friends airtel, nw they r charging me 1 rs/day without any notice.
                I have received a message "Thanks for downloading poly tone from airtel" and rs 3 detected from my balance... I have not subscribed for any ring tone... My no. is [protected]... Kindly stop this and refund my balance...

                I HAVE SOUGHT HELLO TUNE FROM AIRTEL AND WANTED TO COPY FROM [protected] THROUGH AT-543211 ON30.11.2010 BY 01:21:03 HRS.A SUM OF Rs.30 WAS DEDUCTED BY 543211 ON 30.11.2010 BY 1:27:35 HRS. A CONFIRMATION MESSAGE CAME FROM 543211 IMMEDIATELY STATING THAT THE SONG WILL BE SET AS MY RING TONE AND Rs.15 WAS DEDUCTED FROM MY ACCOUNT. THE TUNE WAS SELDOM SET IN MY CALLS TO OTHERS. AFTER VERIFYING THE SAME I RANG 543211. TO MY DISMAY THEY HAVE DEDUCTED Rs.6 FROM MY ACCOUNT AND SAID THEAT THE TUNE SHOULD BE SELECTED BY ME AFTER LISTENING TO THIER ENTIRE STORED TUNESWHICH I OBJECT TO.i DEMND THE THE JANANI TUNE SHOULD BE RESTORED AND THE UNSCRUPULOUS DEDCTIONS SHOULD BE RETURNED.                 Ringtone will be activating on my mobile ([protected]) without my permission. It’s a totally illegal and charged has deducted my account balance. For your information we have received a commercial call from Airtel and offer to some ringtone buy we have not interfere into same call (that call has complete and disconnect ) but it is a atomically activate. I did contact to customer care executive but contacted person Mr. kartik (emp code not disclosed) has misguide me and did not provided right information. He has provided reference no, (684269) and Received reference no, (CHTWC[protected]) from SMS are different.
                Pls suggest, so that we can complain to right place and return my deducted account balance.

                  Few weeks ago i received a message from airtel which reads "your subscription for filmybuzz has been renewed. You have been charged Rs 10" and Rs. 10 was deducted from my account. But i haven't subscribed this servive ( Received 6 or 7 such messages).

                  After this i was constantly receiving messages (3 or 4 messages per day )from 555630 which reads "filmybuzz:............ ... Post link: http://m.mobshare.in/r/..."

                  Also, whenever i recharge my account, after few hours my account balance shows Rs 0.0 ( I had lost at least Rs 100 due to this)

                  I also send STOP to 121
                  But i got a reply "There are no services active on your mobile." ???

                  Today i contacted the customer care at 121 and he promised that he would stop the service

                  but it had activated another service which again caused me to loose my money. This service was "Airtel Picture Post Bolly"

                  Then i tried calling *121*5# , it shows me that there are two vas services activated in my mobile . Then i selected one of the service and reply with 1 to syop the service. It says thanks for using the STOP service.

                  Then i got a message from 1210 which reads "Your request corresponding to Airtel Picture Post BOLLY could not be processed. please try after some time."
                  I tried this over a dozen of times but i got the same results

                  Due to all these, i started loosing trust in you. I mean , how can you automatically start a service to a customer without his permission and charge him for things which he never does.

                  Few weeks ago i received a message from airtel which reads "your subscription for filmybuzz has been renewed. You have been charged Rs 10" and Rs. 10 was deducted from my account. But i haven't subscribed this servive ( Received 6 or 7 such messages).

                  After this i was constantly receiving messages (3 or 4 messages per day )from 555630 which reads "filmybuzz:... ... Post link: http://m.mobshare.in/r/..."

                  Then i tried calling *121*5#, it shows me that there are two vas services activated in my mobile . Then i selected one of the service and reply with 1 to syop the service. It says thanks for using the STOP service.

                  Then i got a message from 1210 which reads "Your request corresponding to Airtel Picture Post BOLLY could not be processed. please try after some time."
                  I tried this over a dozen of times but i got the same results

                  Due to all these, i started loosing trust in you. I mean, how can you automatically start a service to a customer without his permission and charge him for things which he never does.

                  at one time i took airtel and i was happy about it but now i am not happy but sad with the kind of services they are giving now i being haaraased so much that i want to change my service provider the problem is that with the same old aitel life tools service it has been from last year that after every 10 days my money is being deducted and i have saved all the refernce no from last year till today .. they always promised that ur money will be credited in anthor 4 hrs but all in vain uuu have to register between 24 hrs they have their own guidelines but the result is zero i had a word with ur senior team leader snjeev but alll in vain he said now uuu will not be charged for the services. i hv sent stop on 121 100 times but it always says that their are no services on ur nooo . pls help meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee otherwise i hv no option but to change the no. my cell no is [protected]

                    I am unable to use some NOKIA 5800 express music applications with airtel sim in it. Application such as TOUCH PIANO and TOUCH GUITAR are not working and below error coming -

                    "Detecting error

                    [protected][protected][protected][protected]

                    This application didn't allow to run on your phone network. ( only India telco Simcard ).


                    However, if i remove the airtel SIM and use it on my Vodafone Cellular SIM it works properly. Also work with vodafone / reliance / tata and other sim cards. This has been also checked with airtel customercare but no resolution given. Therefore please get the same checked too and address it suitably

                      Note:Do Not Pay The Money (500 Rs.)- AirTel BroadBand Connection

                      1)Bcoz When You Query about the coverage the Customer Care will tell you that Coverrage is thier in Your Place
                      2) After You Pay the Money You have to Go behind the Customer Care every day Asking for the Connection.
                      3) At last they will say they dont have connectivity in the place where you are staying.
                      4) And still you wont get your money Back if you ask for the money they will take a request and send a message to ur mobile that one of the executive will calll you for the Confirmation and you will get the money after 15 days from the day of confirmation.
                      5) But After 15 Days you wont get any call Again you have to keep on calling the customer care for the
                      Cheque Again the process will start from step 3.

                      Am currently in Step 2...these Airtel Serive guys are sucking.. when i enquired for connection, that guy came within hours to collect the installation fee.. then, no call ! Am calling them daily the past 4 - 5 days.

                        Hi Team,

                        I am a user of the Airtel Network (mobile number [protected]) and would like to inform you that I am now very disappointed with your service. This is 5th time to be precise that I have to re-iterate my problem to your company (4 times using 999 and now finally writing you an email.).

                        I had received an sms from your end a couple of weeks back saying that ‘you have been charged for Rs 10 for 10 days for using filmy buzz. I don’t even know what that is. The moment I received this message I had immediately checked my balance and to my surprise the amount was deducted from my account. I then contacted your nearest branch in Vasai ( Thane , pin code 401202) and they told me to speak to a CRE on the number 999. I then explained my problem to him ( Name of the CRE Mr. Sunil Yadav) and after checking everything from his side he informed me that there was a problem because of the system and your amount will be credited back within 4 hrs. I patiently waited back for almost throughout the day but neither did I receive any message or any call pertaining to this. Finally the next day I once again contacted the same branch and they once again told me to go through the same process. Quite rightly this CRE also informed me that it was due to an error and my money will be credited back within 4 hrs. When I informed him that the same thing was told to me yesterday as well from some other CRE, he says that he has no clue about it and asked me to have trust on what he says.

                        Finally after having no options I trusted to what he said but nothing happened. It was almost 7 days that the amount was not credited and I did not even bother to come once again to you centre and start chasing this again with some other CRE. I said to myself Forget it !!!!!!.

                        On Tuesday ( 23rd Feb’10) I received an message saying that Film Buzz subscription will be renewed in the next three days and you will be charged Rs 10 for 10 days. The message also stated that if you want to stop the service please send STOP to 121. When I did that, I got a message saying

                        “There are no services active on your mobile phone”. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                        I though this might an error from the system and hence I re-send the message again ( atleast 10 times). Once again I got same reply that there are no services active on your mobile phone. This was irritating and hence I decided to step in to your center again. The person in charge of the centre Mr. Sanjay, himself spoke on the number ( 999) and this time I got the information from your end saying that I have used the picture post on my mobile. I explained this to the CRE that I have never used Airtel live or neither have I used any of this service but he said that his database says that and hence I should have used it. I did not wanted to waste more time on this and I only requested him to unsubscribe me from this service and also informed him that I do not want any messages from you regarding this. He agreed to this and to be on the safer side Mr. Sanjay had set s service so that I don’t receive any junk adverts and also the URL link to Airtel live was deleted.

                        On Thursday ( 25th Feb’10). I got the same dam message again saying the same irritating lines

                        “you have been charged for Rs 10 for 10 days for using filmy buzz”

                        I checked my balance immediately and yes the destroy was done.

                        YES, I WALKED BACK TO YOUR SERVICE AGIAIN AND THIS TIME ( 4TH TIME) I EXPLAINED THE SAME GRIEVANCE TO CRE AND TOLD HIM THAT I WANTED TO SPEAK TO YOUR SPERVISIOR.


                        The CRE transferred the line back to the supervisor and she ( Supervisior) said that I have used picture post. How can on earth can some one says such an official lie and if I have been using this then why did at the first instance did the 2 CRE’s admitted that there was some problem at their end because of which the amount was deducted. She says that she has no idea and was sorry for whatever has happened. I also asked her if this was a service then why did on 121 it said “ there are no services active on your mobile phone” she had no answers to this and I Requested her to transfer the phone to the Manager. I Don’t understand what was the problem was she not listening to this. I had to say this 10 times “Can I SPEAK TO YOUR MANAGER”.

                        This time it was the Team leader ( Mr yogesh Jogeshwar) who came on the line and started asking me what was my problem. Can you imagine by this time I had wasted 25 mins talking !!!. I was quite clear and informed him that he should be aware of my problem and if he his not “why did he take the call”.??

                        He then started confirming my problems and even he was unable to answer my below questions:

                        1. Why did the two CRE’s informed me that there was a problem from the system and my money will be credited back
                        2. Why even after informing to you’ll on 23rd that I want to unsubscribe from Film buzz received the message on 25th and money being deducted.
                        3. As Film Buzz is a service and you say that if any one wants to unsubscribe from this can message STOP to 121 and then the reply from 121 is
                        “There are no services active on your mobile phone:: ?????????????????????????????

                        Mr. Yogesh informed me that he will register a complaint about this and I shall be receiving a call from your end.

                        I did receive the call but was at work so informed the CRE politiely to give me the call the next day.

                        After this there are no calls and I am still waiting for some actions from your end.

                        If you have read the above carefully you can see that I am not bothered amount the money I have lost (not too sure if I will receive them) but I am concerned about the way you treat your customers.

                        Is this Customer Service or Customer Harassment ??

                        I have lost :

                        1. Trust in you
                        2. My 30 Rs over the phone
                        3. Almost 5 hrs chasing this
                        4. Fuel ( petrol) from my home to your centre.

                        Can I have some sensible answers to all this.

                          I received an SMS from TM-CCAD telling me that I won 1million pound in Coca Cola Award-Mobile-Draw 2010 and needed me to contact Mr. White by email address [protected]@hotmail.com
                          This SMS is 100% fraud.
                          I never drink CocaCola or Pepsi or such kind of cold drinks,
                          There is no relation between my mobile service provider (MSP) and CocaCola?
                          I live in India, my number is Indian Number and if there is any Draw, why it happened in England and I won Pound currency? and Why not Rs. Don't we have CocaCola in India?

                          I hope Airtel takes an action to stop this kind of SMS or gives warning to people that they have nothing to do with this kinds of Lottery.

                            Sir/Madam,

                            My initial internet plan with airtel was a 1099/month plan due to some circumstances i had to change it to the 599/month plan but i clearly informed the customer care i wish to migrate to the 599 plan but instead he put me in the 598/month plan and its a limited plan while the 599 is an unlimited plan, as a friend of mine informed me that to verify my plan request so within half an hour of my initial request i called back to confirm but the representative said that the request had been taken for 598 and cannot be cancelled, well i dont think that a request can never be cancelled, still i applied a new request for 599, after a month instead of getting a bill of 599+taxes i got a 3648 rs bill , and when i called customer care for clarification they said that i had been charged on pro rata basis for 2 day had been in the 598 plan and hence was charged 3000 rs for two days.. is that ethical when i had called back and still informed them to change it back in half an hour.... i have not paid the balance amount as i dont think i can afford to blindly pay it up. all further details will be provided by me on request specifying. i hope a consideration is taken into the matter and i will be happy to oblige any service as deemed necessary

                                Airtel-Prepaid mobile services — Airtel No Service

                                Dear Sir/Madam,

                                I am currently doing my MBA at XLRI, Jamshedpur.

                                In June 07 I took Airtel SIM from XLRI Campus shop, submitting

                                -Passport copy as identity proof

                                -Letter from XLRI as Residence proof

                                -Filled Airtel application form

                                Also

                                Filled 3000 rupees currency with one year validity.

                                Within one month it was disconnected. No response from customer care.

                                I visited Bistupur customer care center.They immediately corrected.

                                After two months again got disconnected.This time “Registration failed error” came.

                                After visiting Bistupur customer care I understood my sim has been “Disabled”

                                Reason: Documents not submitted.

                                No communication from your side before disconnecting.



                                With my hectic schedules in XLRI I feel I am wasting my time running behing customer care.

                                I am also responsible for many branding activities and my communication channel is always creating problems.



                                I spoke to customer care to understand that I cannot even get my money back..

                                I wanted to unsubscribe a service i once availed and sent an sms according to the instructions. I got reply saying that i am not subscribing to the service. Then i sent couple of mails to their customer care id and and got a auto generated mail in reply ayin my requested wud be attended in 24 hrs but did not get ne response from Airtel ever since. God knows wat kind of customer service this company runs. I cant ever get through to a customer care executive.

                                I am using Airtel prepaid card. On April 10 2008 I received three continuous SMS from Airtel Number 543214.I just opened first SMS immediately 30 Rs deducted from my account .

                                First SMS content is
                                “Congratulations! You have subscribed to Background Music and Rs30 has been charged. Now talk to anyone with your favourite music in Background .Just dial 57775”

                                Immediately I called customer care 121 and asked about this stupid thing, they said this service will be activated if we open the SMS. And to unsubscribe this service we have to call the same number from which the SMS sent. But it is not free call Airtel is charging 1.50 Rs per minute. I didn’t want to do it from my side .So I logged complaint. However, the money not been credited to my account nor has the Hello Tune service been de-activated.

                                Friends don’t open and SMS coming from 543214 or any similar number.

                                Airtel Prepaid Mobile Connection — Money deducted from the balance amount for some unwanted service without any prior information

                                Airtel the telecom giant shows why the company is earning huge profits. They do the things their least bothered about their customer. Today I got a call from customer care of Airtel they informed me about some missed call package in which I was least interested, though I told them I am not interested in their package, I got message in the evening that "15 RS. have been deducted from your account for the subscription of Missed You services for the current month". When I called up their customer care center they told that the amount will not be returned back and they simply deny whatever I said trying to prove that I am lying. Airtel has been in this business of cheating people as I have heard this problem from so many people before.. Airtel the cheaters..

                                So i got the mobile and checked some of the messages got from airtel and all the messages are like messages sent to prepaid mobile stating you are running out of balance please recharge your mobile. How can a postpaid mobile need to get recharged?? I shocked.
                                So my father went to basheerbagh and logged the complaint with the customer care executive there.
                                we waited for 2 days in a hope that problem get solved
                                Then also there our mobile isnt working
                                And i call to the customer care guys.These guys are like lazy and rude and not responding well to the call.Again i explained the entire problem / story to them requested the customer care executive to escalate to technical manager and requested him tfix the problem.he said the problem will be solved in 24 hours
                                The problem never solved for the next 2 days also
                                Again my father went to Airtel office Bhasherrbhag for 2nd time and explained entire proble and we waited for next 2 days
                                NO good signs
                                This time again I called the customer care and Iam shocked to hear from Customer care exce telling your number has been disconnected and the annoying thing is he says I cant help you go to Airtel office
                                The pain point here is elderly persons like my father cant go around offices and they are not technically sound to dail through airtel ivrs and speak to customer care
                                And the problem never solved
                                Iam asking AIRTEL top MANAGER or CEO...who ever is the highest responsible person..Will you wait if I dont pay my mobile bill ??? atleast will you wait if i pay bill the next day of due date...you will not you will put a fine on my account
                                Then you are responsible for providing a clean service and you cannt convert the numbers automatically to prepaid
                                So for all the inconvinience you caused me dont ask me to pay bill and give a explonation for the inconvinience you caused to my father.

                                And also I looged like hell number of complaints regarding the network problems at my home .. you guys never care regarding providing good signal..

                                Airtel Prepaid Service — Deactivating services without notice

                                I had brought a new Airtel connection some 20 days back and was duly activated. However, the call for local address verification came at a crunch situation, where i committed to the person calling that i will call back at the same number, however when dialled there was no response.

                                However, after a couple of days without any prior notice my outgoing was barred on 15th May, incidentally I was out of town then. it took me 2 days to figure out the reason behind it, which was told as incomplete documentation. Instead of wasting any time in arguing, i promptly resubmitted a set of documents on 18th may to an Airtel office, on which i was assured that within 48 hours, outgoing will be restored. As of today i.e 21st may my outgoing is yet to be restored. Repeated calls to customer care was met with apathy and no clear response.
                                Again on 21st evening i submitted m documents for the 3rd time and was assured that prompt action would be taken by two senior executives who intervened when the customer office people were rude. However to my dismay even my incoming has been stopped on 22nd evening.

                                I would like immediate renewal of my services and an apology from the company

                                Air Tel Pre Paid Services — Deactivate outgoing calls for no valid reason

                                Air Tel Service provider offered me [protected] about four years ago on completion of documents in terms of their requirement. I have been operating this cell number for the last more than 4 years on pre paid basis. On May 25, 2009 I received a message from Air Tel that since documents are not complete the services would be deactivated if documents are not submitted on or before[protected]. on[protected] I received another message intimating that since I had not submitted my connection will be discontinued. I was required to contact Airtel on Cell number [protected]. Inspite of my best eforts I was unable to make the contact as the phone was either continuously busy or the subscriber did not attend the call. However, the services was discontinued with effect from[protected]. I came to understand that Air tel officials had misplaced my original doucments and did not find them at the time o[censored]pdating and therefore the action of disconnecting, . The action of Airtel is a criminal breach of contract of pre paid services. The high handed and arrogant attitude of the service provider cannot be brushed aside. I hope suitable action be taken against the service provider and I should be compensated for the damages.

                                says- Thank you for subscribing the ring tone...I had never made any request for the same. I contacted several time airtel customer care. Everyday different person attend the call and tell that your complain has been registered. Those services will stop and account will be credited within 24 hours.                                 I am using Aitel prepaid Mobile service. on 2nd June, I received a SMS from Airtel Live that a service named Love 5 have been activated on my account and I have been charged Rs. 5 for that.                                 Airtel — Deactivation of services for 2 days, without any prior communication

                                Due to new rule from government, Airtel is performing address verification of all it's customers. In this process, they blocked my outgoing calls on 22/10/2010 at 8:00 AM. When I tried to make any call, it was diverted to customer care and they asked me for for my details. After verifying all the details available with them, they said verification is complete and outgoing will be activated in 4 hours.

                                I called them up almost 10 times in last 2 days. I always received the same response, It will be activated in 4 hours. It is now almost 33 hrs without any service and still I cannot make any calls.

                                I've been using this service from past 6 years and this is how they respond.

But the fact is I have not subscribe any services, So I would like to ask you a question that, Why are you deducting money from our prepaid balance?                                 I would like to ask you why your company deducting the money from our account without our notice.                                 I had a prepaid mobile SIM, and was using it for last few years. recently my SIM got deactivated, in spite of that it had a life time validity card. I was surprised and shocked why it happened without any notification.

                                I contacted customer care, they said that due to non usage of more than 90 days it was deactivated, and is now been given to somebody else and cant be reactivated.

                                My concern is that first it got deactivated without any notification and secondly it was reassigned to somebody else in just a span of less than 2 months.

                                I am really shocked and dissatisfied with the reply, they are asking me to buy a new SIM. thats pathetic.

                                i wrote to nodal officer, but got the same reply as it is.As if nodal officer and the customer care guy are same.

                                I dont know how it is done at Airtel, but i am truly dissatisfied with the resolution.

                                I hope customer like me are not cheated.

                                Same problem..they are literally *looting* 5 Rs. per day from thousands or lakhs (hopefully not crores ) of customers everyday without their consent. This is unacceptable. We send 'STOP' to 121. We get a reply from 1210 saying reply with the serial number of the service to stop.

                                They slyly make the message confusing :

                                1.Cricket updates listed as a '2nd' option and there is a number '543212' beside it. Not sure which one to send(and forgive me for not maintaining a database of airtel utility services which I later discovered that it was a hello tunes number..I have much more important things to worry about in my life) ..and by that time ..they are probably billing us for messages to 121 or any godforsaken airtel service number.

                                2. Reply to 1210 or 121 or 543212 or ??? etc..( maybe 911 or 100 should work from next time )
                                By the way, MANY phones (including sonyericsson models) cannot send sms to 1210 ...(Does airtel know about this..infact, they should.. because they are a mobile network and should have some knowledge about devices using them...so is this is an intended scam?? god knows. ) If i send an SMS
                                as 'STOP 2' to 121 ..i get their favorite reply: "Unable to process request" ...but magically you can "process " 5 Rs. a day from all o[censored]s very efficiently without letting us know or do anything about it !!! great job!!

                                3. Now they even started a 'job service sms' to my phone ..(why airtel why? I never subscribed to anything..stop bugging ( read harassing) me with all your updates ...nobody cares! ...why are you pushing me and thousands of others to sue you?)

                                4. Their email service is horrible. The only reply they know is " We cannot process your request" ..(was your site written by third-rate programmers who cannot recognize the phone number even if it is the only word in the subject???? or are your "higher level engineers" third-rate programmers who know *NOTHING* about giving proper instructions in the email???? ..are they even programmers ?? god knows.)

                                For the sake of other readers, Here is your "prompt" email..atleast thats a flimsy reason stopping me from ranting about the speed of your service although I cannot say anything positive about the quality of your service.

                                What is the exact format? DId you clearly specify what is the format? Is it just the number or some string with "number:98xxx.." form ? Is it not enough if the subject of the email is a single string, with no spaces, containing only numeric characters corresponding to my mobile number???

                                This is the situation for educated citizens in developed cities. God knows what diabolical plans they have in their development teams to exploit people in rural or under developed areas (particularly in andhra pradesh) where most of them don't even know how to send sms and prepaid is their preferred choice of payment .

                                In prepaid also I am getting some SMS that your hellow tune/MCA charges which I never optted or aware of it.Airtel is cheating public, induviduals, 2G scam is best expale.

                                SInce last 4/5 days a service called talk2me started in my moble no. [protected] without my any attempt. Also deducetd Rs. 15 from my account. Earlier services with 54321 was started and at that time also amount was deducted. How long this forge and penal activity will be continue? Why should I choose Airtel?                                 I have made written complain to airtel customor care executive regarding activation of CRI service. I made complain for atleast 50 times and i have proof of all mail as they acknowledge the mail and take corrective action.                                 I have not subcribed for games club membership even though, you have charged Rs.10/- per week to my cell phone No.[protected] periodically. This is becoming too expensive to me.

                                Since i am unable to communicate to your customer care i am writing to you. I have following complaints on my mobile No ([protected]). Hope you will respond at the earliest.

                                1. I have applied for portability on last Friday. Your executive contacted me and informed that i have a plan for 30 paise per minute. i approved that plan , they have replied that this plan will be activated with in 48 hours. still the plan is not yet activated.
                                2. I have complained that i am not able to communicate to your customer care @ 121 and 198. They said that will file an complaint on that and your customer care will contact me with in 1.00 Pm on Monday. But no one is contacted me and also my problem is not yet resolved. That is why i am writing to you.If i am calling to 198 then press 5 , it is telling that if you have any complaints please dial *121# .
                                3. Also your customer care executives are not polite, they are speaking harshly. Also they are breaking the call if we ask any technical question to them. I faced this problem several times.

                                Airtel — Without customer consent ,they start any sms services and deduct money daily

                                Air tel company start any sms services without consumer consent, and deduct money everyday, when I check balance daily it was deducting every day 2 rupees ,

                                1. when I called air tel customer care ,person pickup the phone when I explanined , about unwanted services , customer care lady told me to check in system which services is linked with this number, and told me to be on line , one min left 2 min left no response.

                                3 when I dialed 121 3rd 4th time then Air tel system itself disconnecting the call.

                                Over all , I talked to many company customer care person but, Air tel customer care people are very rude, and no etiquette.

                                  Few days before i have submit my complaint against Airtel Bharti Communication. My name is Deepak Singh and my number is +91-[protected]. My complaint is that Airtel Bharti has detect my balance of amount 24/- at 23 feb 2010. I have try to contact many time of customer care executive, but every time i contact with them , they always give me wrong information. I have every recording of their executive. 2 days before their senior executive tell me to refund my balance in 6 hour but still i did not get any balance. Every time i try to contact with them, they never give me coplete information and cut call without give me complete information. on 24/02/2010 at 4:44 pm i got a call from Airtel customer care(+91-[protected]),they say me that they will take action soon but still no one take action.
                                  I request to guide me that how can i be able for get my balance. because by giving their wrong information, i have also take a lose on 25th jan.,2010 of 3 days. so can i also go to consumer court for my 3 days time.i also have the recording of their customer care executive.

                                    I thought there could be a possibility of some action on receiving the mail from me. Thought there has been surplus of 1750/- Rs, still I made another payment of 2000 Rs to activate the services immediately. Rather I see the phone number is permanently disconnected. When I dial the number[protected], getting a message, the number does not exists…

                                    It’s a serious concern; if this is not resolved immediately, I have no other option but to seek legal advice on this issue. As head of the organization, I am sure, you would sensitize the person responsible to resolve this.

Even after spending more than 40 mins personally with the helpdesk folks, the concern remains the same. Refer to mail trail below for more detail, The helpdesk folks have assured me thrice via interaction/complaint number[protected] yesterday around 7.00 PM,[protected] today morning 8.30 am,[protected] around 6.30 today evening) that concern has been logged and with in 4 hrs the connection will be restored; just now spoken to another chap at helpdesk, he told that it will be done on 27th Feb after 3.00 pm.

                                    My concerns are:

                                    a) Why a false reference number is given without logging a call?
                                    b) Why the false time commitment is done?
                                    c) The most important is that when you had advance money paid, how can the connection be disconnected.

                                    I am sure, shd you or your office is in receipt of this mail, will instruct the people concerned to ensure the immediate restoration of services along with setting up the tight process for call logging, monitoring and tracking till closure.

                                    This is to bring to your notice that Telephone[protected] and Internet service at my residence – “309 Milano Mahagun Mansion, Phase 2, Indirapuram GZB” has been debarred since last 2 days on the account of non-payment of telephone bill whereas my Airtel account already has surplus credit of Rs 1750.

                                    I had paid Rs 1750 as installation charges for IP TV, but because of non feasibility of the same, it was not installed and it was told that the money paid will be adjusted against the subsequent bills, the same did not happen and as a result phone/Internet is dead for last 2 days.

                                    This needs immediate attention and correction. If this is not corrected in next 2 hrs, an escalation will be sent to senior officials with a complaint in consumer forum.

                                      I Have been a customer of Airtel for almost 3 years regularly paying my bills!
                                      My connection was for unlimited Broadband connection with the landline Number [protected]
                                      Trouble started when I had to shift my residence, I couldnt take the connection to my new residence as there was no Airtel coverage in the area. Hence I asked my brother who lives in Green View apartments, New town Yelahanka to take the connection for my niece.
                                      The shift of the telephone took 2 months as I was decidin on the location it was to be transferred and I had specifcally told the call centre to see that I was not billed in the interim period. The operator assured me that the Plan on my line would be enhanced in such a manner that I wouldnt receive any billin during the transition period and they were true to their words!!
                                      But once the connection was installed in my brothers residence, when he received the bill, it showed a limited billing system and has been charged Rs 1500/- instead of Rs 710/- which was the charge for my unlimited broadband connection. I immediately called up the call centre and they said it would be rectified. But to my dismay I found the the billing for the next month showed more than Rs3000/-!!
                                      I kept talking to the call centre people with no relief and I left the matters unresolved as it was like talkin to a wall.
                                      Subsequently Airtel called me to Lok Adalat and I explained the situation to the lawyer there and she said that someone from airtel would call me soon and the matter would be resolved. B
                                      I did receive phone calls from the company and they apologized and told me that the matter would be looked into and my revised bill for around Rs1500/- for two months would be sent.
                                      But I was horrified to receive a call from a gentleman who claimed to be from high court delhi saying that I had to pay Rs10000/- to Airtel!
                                      I have no idea how this has come about.
                                      I recieved no summons no court notices except the lok adalat one and which I attended.
                                      How can Airtel treat me like this after I've been a good customer for three years and without checking out the details put me through so much of mental agony. I'm ready to pay for my unlimited connection billing of Rs1500/- for two months once the recified bill has been sent to my residnce. The address and phone details are in Airtel records and are correct.
                                      I pray for relief from the agony caused by this company.

                                      Airtel — DRAGGED TO COURT FOR NO REASON.

                                      As you can understand, I am in a totally hopeless situation.I have closed my corporate connection with AIRTEL in June 2007 after clearing my outstanding amount. I got a confirmation email from the so called corporate collector that my account will be closed.Today after 10 months, I am getting a notice from Lok adalat on behalf of airtel to pay Rs 711/-. Only God can answer, from where did they get this 711/-. I am a working woman and in my busy schedule I have to be present in that adalat on the specified date and time else it goes without saying that the case would be filed in the court.

                                      I feel pity on this country and its people who have such a ridiculous judiciary system.
                                      Need to ask, how many times AIRTEL has been dragged into court.
                                      I will do my best to see to it that this message spreads across the country and AIRTEL losses its business by which it will come to the roads.

                                        Recently the callertune madness is creating psychic circles throughout the callers. Once we activate the callertune, all we get is this 5 second message. Only after that the callertune starts playing. Fun factor is that the mobile rings immediately (The automated voice have started playing already). I actually thought that it is just another lame ad which doesn’t let the mobile ring till you ear the callertune. My Bad!!!!

                                        We activate callertune for the caller to hear a Soundtrack/Song/BGM but this is the 5 second message we get. Press * and 9 to copy this song. Charges 15 rupees per hellotune and monthly charges 30 rupees only.

                                        We have a default 15-20 seconds pulse till the call gets cut, but the voice message eats 5 seconds of our time. Now this makes me say 'WHAT THE HELL?'

                                        Another point to note,
                                        This isn't an occasional happening. The voice message will be delivered to your ear buds every time you call. I guess AIRTEL is operating on six sigma quality. They don't miss a single chance to advertise their callertune. Quite frankly, they eat the customer's money to increase the caller tune’s property value without paying a penny to the customer. I am left wide open asking pitifully ‘Where did my money go?’ This is more like investing on a useless share/stock.

                                        The callers/International customers get irritated because of the voice message. Sometimes people think they're getting a mobile switched off message. The callertune voice message is quite similar to the ‘mobile switched off’ tune.

                                        Now I hope this review might create another (bigger) circle to cover the nasty circle formed by Airtel.

                                        Airtel — bad quality of caller tunes

                                        recently i changed my caller tune and the quality of this caller tune is pathetic it isn't even properly audible to the callers
