Hi,

The Hello tune codes provided by Airtel in their website is totally wrong. I have tried all four codes for setting "Arms Wide Open" Song From the artist "Creed" But the song did not exist. Also I lost 50 rupees because of this unupdated code.

Airtel — wrong dill detail and cheating

Dear Sir,

i am using air tel services since last 2 1/2 yr but from jully 2007 they charging me for international roaming that was not at all requested by me. after puting complent in costumer care they finaly come with result that will reversal of total amount from jully 2007 to june 2008 total (amount @ 149 p.m.) in the next month bill but they give only 2 month reversal that 2 month reversal is wrongly adjusted in the monthly bill.

air tel mobile — 3 times call rate taken

i have a mobile [protected] which is from air tel and they are cutting the call rate 3 times more than the normal call rate on 22 and 23 i made call 10 minutes they have taken 176 rupees.

air tel mobile — Wrong Hello Tune

I received a promotion call from Air tel hello tunes and they asked me to take the services. I asked them if they can put a specific hello tune than only activate this service. The song was " Jisko Nahi Dekha humney kabhi uski jarorat kya hogi ai Maa teri surat sai alag bhagwan ki surat kya hogi" But the providers put a funny hello tune some Gujrati song Teri surat to. Ridiculas it was and more so I was charged before confirmation of correct tune.
I immediately asked to stop this. It is ridiculous that Air tel is charging money without providing the desired services/product (caller tune in this case)
They should appolise and refund money plus disturbance cost. My mobile no is [protected]

Airtel is so unethical. My number is [protected] and airtel always charges me Rs. 30 for caller tunes that I do never subscribe. When I call there service center, the customer care representative tells me that he can deactivate but can not refund me the money. Airtel is such a fradulent company. Please don't use airtel at all. There is no one in this company that responds to the calls. Such unethical practices by this company has already earned a very bad name. Airtel if can't sell good services, should stop cheating comsumers. Something must be done against such fradulent activties by Airtel but our Indian Goverment does nothing for common person and therefore such things will go unnoticed. No fines to Airtel, nothing!!!

I also have a similar experience as Mahesh has. I never subscribed to caller tunes but Airtel has been charging me Rs.30 a month. I asked them to stop my subscription, and so far they have not done it.

i had renewed caller tune recently it was goin fine but then recently i had this offer to change the caller tune by callin 530309 ...when i call i listen to the hello tune but never confirmed it. as such i cant by mistake too because i have got a touch phone, still i get charged and the caller tune changes unnecessarily .i spoke to the customer care and all i get is"system is showing it" and "we cant refund the money".unethical means of earning is what airtel knows .when the customer care got fedup he tells ill transfer the phone to some better person and what i get is to hear the new airtel tune for long minutes .believe me i am having a long list of all the names of the customer care executives with me just to solve a single problem which is still on its way to be solved and dont think they can help me any further than this.please if anyone can suggest me a method to get my refund please help email id:[protected]@gmail.com

I had a call from [protected] when I have received this call at 4.30 pm on 16/5/11, song is there so I reject this call,
After that I have received a message from 543211 which is given below,
“ Thank you for continuing with hellotunes.you will be charged rs.30 as monthly rent.Now set a hello tune absolutely free, call 543215(@re1/min).
Rs.30 is deducted from my balance without my concent.

This is nothing but a process of cheating innocent people and squeezing their hard earned money.

Please refund the total amount deducted (Cheated) from my account within 2 hours else get ready to face legal action against you at your cost and consensus.

Hope you will not activate any service in future on my mobile without my consent.

    Hi,

    I applied for Airtel DTH through Vriti Infocom.
    I showed some interest on a airtel DTH website.. and next morning I was contacted by an agent from Vriti Infocom and he stayed online with me till i transferred money from my online account. he promised that an Airtel Engineer will come in the evening and install Airtel DTH and also activate it before he leaves.

    But its been 2 days now. No one has come to me. Vriti people do not answer my phone call neither do they reply the emails.

    I am affraid that they might have cheated me and taken my money.

    Whatever they do but they have lost my trust. and now I am really regretting my decision of going for Airtel DTH. No company should make false claims if they can't stand upto them.

    and Airtel how can you let such people indulge in your business and destroy your reputation.
    I won't be recommending Airtel DTH to any one.

    and Vriti people are fraud... Don't get stuck with them.

    vriti infocom pvt ltd [ airtel digital tv ] — cheating [ false promise ]

    dear sir


    i have bought two airtel digital tv connections at that time their reprasantative told me that there is free goa trip for two persons on each connection two day three nights in hotel four star lunch dinner
    train tikits all is total free its all from vriti infocom pvt ltd
    but i dont have get still that free trip and not even proper answer from mr taufique head of vriti infocom pvt ltd
    i have emaid him many times and try to contect at phone but he avoid me

    I was also promised a free goa trip on purchase on AIRTEL DTH connection. Forget about the trip, I am unable to get the connection from AIRTEL. Nor they are giving us refund.

    This is a clear case of fraud.

    I applied for Airtel DTH .I showed some interest on a airtel DTH website.. and next morning I was contacted by an agent from Vriti Infocom .He called me ten times to get the money and once I gave hi the money he didnot even give me a bill. I got a bill on third day after requesting him/calling him 5 times .

    He promised that an Airtel Engineer will come in the evening and install Airtel DTH and also activate it before he leaves.

    But its been 7 days now. No one has come to me. Vriti people do not answer my phone call neither do they reply the emails.

    Mr. Punit Saxena is the incharge here and he has stopeed taking my calls too.

    I am affraid that they might have cheated me and taken my money (4040/-).

    I have completely lost trust in AIRTEL DTH and i m regretting my decision of chosing them. No company should make false claims if they can't stand upto them.

    I won't be recommending Airtel DTH to any one.When i call DTH customer care I keep waiting for 10-10 mins and my call is kept on hold and no customer care representative responds.

    DONT GET STUCK WITH VRITI. DONT GET STUCK WITH AIRTEL DTH too.

I mailed to Vriti and airtel but no response has recieved. I faxed to vriti but no reply by vriti and phone number of vriti is not responded. I realy cheated by Vriti and airtel

    Set Top Box got installed at my place on 3-Aug-2010. but till date it didnt got activated.
    Even i talked to Customer Care and all concerned persosn regarding the issue. But as said i got "No response".
    Look like they are not interested in Customer queries at all.
    Also, I tried to connect to Vriti Infocomm office but got no response from them.
    Best part i have seen in Airtel Service is 'No one is ready to take the responsibility'. Every one is transferring the call to other Department and at last I get the response that It is not the concerned Department.

    I have the Cash payment reciept and also I have got my Customer ID but still Customer Care is saying that we cannot log any complaint againt this. Isn't that sound wierd.
    Lets Hope if Consumer Forum can help me resolve the issue.

    Anyways Guys ...request you all ...Please DO NOT GO FOR AIRTEL DTH at all.
    Look like Airtel DTH is just a Fraud and nothing more than that.

    Bharti Infocom Airtel — recharge not activated

    my mobile number [protected] which is an add on number with a bada gup shup plan with a monthly rental of Rs 250 per month. we have been continuos in contact with airtel service providers from january 19 th 2010, so as to deactivate our bada gup shup plan and change our post paid billing to prepaid one. For this we have even given Rs 100 advance as a recharge service on 19 th january 2010 and cleared till that day billing also with all the formalities which they asked .we even have the receipt with number 2826. We are visiting their office 3 - 4 times and many calls ,but no action till day i.e 16th august has been taken. they say we have no records and we will not do anything.Please take this matter seriously .I want my money back which is being unnecessarily charged Rs 250 per month from jan to august that amounts to Rs 2000 + Rs 100 recharge month. I never expected this from Bharti infocom for such a small amount . Please refund my money as soon as possible.Please dont harass us and i hope you will take strict action against this.

    On 6TH MAY i have shown interest in to Buy Airtel Dth on Airtel DTh website, so received call on 7th May at 12.56 noon I have booked a Airtel DTH through details given below as I have showed online request for contact , after making the payment I received a confirmation message that it will be get installed on 8th May at 12pm but I have not received any call regarding this and it has not been installed, I have also contacted coustomer care regarding this but no proper information provided me, after making paymnet I am struglling to get the installation at my point.     I AM STRUGGLING FOR THIS AND NO CONFIRMATION FROM AIRTEL AND VRITI(ONLINEDELAS.IN) SIDE.

    I was fed up and made myself towards cyber crime police
    pune office for complaint through our office, with all made call
    logs to Airtel customer care and noida vritiinfocom and receipt of
    payment.Airtel is very reputed company and it was degraded by this

    I showed some interest on a airtel DTH website.. and next morning I was contacted by an agent from Vriti Infocom and he sent a collection agent who collected the money and gave me the receipt with no 13364 he promised that an Airtel Engineer will come in the evening and install Airtel DTH and also activate it before he leaves.

    But its been 2 days now. No one has come to me. Vriti people do not answer my phone call neither do they reply the emails.

    I am affraid that they might have cheated me and taken my money.

    I entered a query regarding buying a new DTH connection on Airtel web site
    on 3rd Oct'2011 and I got the call from from airtel office on 4th October
    and customer care executive explained me the I need to pay 4299 for my new
    DTH connection and it will be installed between 24 to 48 hours. Based on
    customer care executive statement I have order the product(Airtel HD STB
    with recorder) on 4th October 2011 around 11:00 AM in the morning using my
    ICICI Bank Credit Card(ending with XXX2002). He had taken all the
    information about my transaction like trasation reference number, amount,
    etc and gave a commitment that it will be installed with in 24 to 48
    hours.

    But till now nothing has been done. I have called Aittel customer care
    many time but every time executive gave me new time but nothing happened.

    Can you please provide me information if you people can not installed on
    time then why you people gave wrong statements on phone to get new
    customers.

      We purchased the Airtel No.,+91-[protected] on[protected]. The security of Rs 500 was taken from my HDFC Acc.We have surrendered this number 2.5 yrs ago but still we have not received our security back. We have contacted in Airtel Office(Levin Communication,SCO No. 41,42; Surya Complex, Patiala) with Anjana Thakur(+91-[protected]) ,Mukesh Kumar and Sunita number of times but not recieved any positive response till date.
      We are harassed all the times we try for reimbursement.
      Solution of my complaint We need our security back with interest from the day the connection was closed and proper compensation for harrasment we faced.

        Dear Sir,

        This is really an issue that we are subscribing to hellotune packages to make our friends hear our hellotunes as soon as they call us. But actually what happens, when we/they call how to copy the hellotunes is being announced. And by the time the song is played its too late and people generally pick up the phone. So the hellotune is of no use.

        There fore my request is to stop the announcement of copieing the hellotune before playing the hellotune.

          i am tarun bhowmik,mumbai. i am receiving massages from 53636.i complained to Airtel customer as i holding airtel sim card,they told that they cant stop that kind of massage.but they are the tele service company and any unwanted massage is received by their customer then should look the matter.becsue the massages are sending by unknown persons and i am as a customer of airtel suffering.i think it is the duty of mobile service provider in case any massages are sended by a registered dealer registered with the code 53636 and i think mobile has got the power to stop them from sending such massages to airtel customers. there is some system to block the spam mail if received in my mail id,in that case also there should be some system to block those ids.

            This is the letter to Nodal office of Airtel, Bangalore

            To whomsoever it may concern,

            I had applied for a new Airtel connection with your staff in Banglore. After a discussion, I was told that the connection would be set up within 10 days. First time when I applied my application got rejected saying that no feasibility. I stay in Kormagala first block.
            Second time after 15 days again another airtel person had called me and said he has done all the feasibility check and port verification and he found that port is available also he has promised me this time I will get the connection. He has seen my first rejected application.

            After 10days of second application airtel person says that there is an approval still pending and hence no work can start. On asking how long it will take, he says that at times it takes a month to get the connection. On trying to contact him again to further discuss this, my call was continuously being rejected from his side.

            My question is if that if it takes such a long time, why we received the FALSE commitment of 10 days and above that if there were approvals pending?
            Also Why airtel executive has taken my second application and the money even after knowing that first time application is rejected.
            Airtel Broadband is NOT showing true professional behavior. Why Aitel is giving such false commitments?

            I request to not retract from the commitment made and provide me the connection ASAP as per your commitment. I stay in kormanagla teachers colony and i don't see any reason for you not to enhance the existing ports.

            Please do the needful asap.

            Here is my details:

            First time application number - TBLR0022128 collected by Rajesh(mobile - [protected])
            Second time application number - TBLR0076909 ( collected by Arun - [protected], this person has given me commitment saying that airtel will issue the connection this time, He said he verified the port and feasibility.)

              1. I am a class one gazetted officer of the Indian Air Force. On getting posted to Air Foce Academy, Dundigal, Hyderabad, I purchased a prepaid Airtel sim no: [protected] from a retailer in the campus on 31st Dec 09.

              2. I had gone for an important official duty to Coimbatore from 09th Jan 10 to 31 st Jan 10. On 15th Jan 10 my sim got deactivated without any warning like sms or a call from the customer care. Neither could i call anyone nor could i call up the customer care as to what has happened.

              3. On finding out the reason for the deactivation from the retailer who had provided the sim to me, he informed that probably the airtel office has rejected the application form stating that the photo I had submitted is not valid.

              4. On returning back to Hyderabad, I approached the Airtel Headoffice at Hyderabad and was directed to contact the airtel area manager of my locality for help. On contacting the area manager Mr Vinay, he refused to help me to get my phone activated nor did he get the balance in my mobile, paid back to me.

              5. Upon my asking to get my documents pulled out for verification and to find out as to why have they rejected my application, Mr Vinay(Area Manager Airtel) refused to get them from the headoffice of airtel and show them to me.

              6. As I mentioned, I am a class one gazetted offiecer of the Indian Air Force and had provided all the necessary documents as asked for with the application. These documents included my photograph in uniform, xerox of my driving license with photograph in uniform and the certificate of my residential address at the place of my posting attested by the Adjutant.

              7. Firstly I would like to know first of all as to why have the airtel office has rejected my application stating that my photograph is not valid. And if they have rejected my application why havent they informed me by an sms or a call for the reason of my sim's deactivation.

              8. Thirdly, why i am not been shown my own documents with the coments of the Airtel official who has rejected my application.

              9. And lastly, the airtel area manager (Mr Vinay) is here for the customer's help and not to harrass them by stating that "If you want to verify your documents, then please get them yourself from the headoffice located at Warangal."

              Airtel — Service got deactivated without any reason

              Hi,
              Airtel all of sudden deactivated my services to the number [protected] on 15th oct at arround 9 PM. I called airtell customer services and they gave me an answer that they do not know what is the reason. The customer care executive Shradha said it would get activated in next four hours. Whole nigh i kept on trying and it did not happen. In morning at 8 AM a again called customer service and agin i was told the same story but nothing happened.

              I cannot call anywhere and have to call from PCO or from my office to customer care as my number is deactivated.

              Airtel India — Connection Deactivation, without proper reasons

              My mobile connection number [protected] was deactivated on 9th january 2009 on the grounds on documents not sumbmitted, though i had already submitted my complete documents when i had taken the connection( 3rd january2009). on quering at customer relationship office kondhwa i was told that company has changed that format and so i have to fill the form again, i did the same and was assured that my connection will start on monday evening, but on monday when i inquired I was told that the person who takes the forms has forgotten to take my form and so because of this my connection will be activated on tuesday.
              I am suffering because of the their negligence. This type of things are not expected from Airtel. Plz Help.
              I got my Airtel CUG number([protected]) on 19th Dec, 2008. It got activated on 21st Dec and on 27th Dec all outgoing calls were blocked. Why? Because my address verification was not done as I was not at home when the verification person arrived. After that, I've made innumberable calls to the customer care in Pune to send the Verification person again. At first they told me to go to the nearest Airtel center to submit the documents which when I did go to turned very dissappointing. I was told they cant help me with this and only the customer care can. The customer tells me the other way round. Also I requested for a soft copy of my billed amount which was not sent. I must say, the carelessness with which the customer care has handled my account is astonishing. I never expected this of Airtel and after being a loyal customer for long I will actively dissuade my friends not to buy Airtel. My problem is still not resolved and my security money of 500 is still stuck with them. A highly incompetent workforce.

              Airtel Prepaid Connection — Deactivation of number without any valid reason

                I had an AIRTEL connection and i was using an Iphone.

                On 4th March 2010 it was stolen. I have lodged a complaint reference no GDE 190 in the nearest POLICE STATION.

                I sent an email to [protected]@airtelindia.com seeking more information regarding the same. But, the reply was not satisfactory.

                My queries are-

                --- CAN AIRTEL TRACE THE HANDSET VIA IMEI NUMBER ?
                --- CAN AIRTEL BLOCK THE HANDSET BY USING THE IMEI NUMBER ?
                --- AFTER LODGING A COMPLAINT IN THE POLICE STATION, CAN AIRTEL PROVIDE ME WITH THE INFORMATION OF THE SIM NUMBERS USED AGAINST MY HANDSET IMEI NUMBER SINCE THE DAY IT WAS STOLEN ?
                --- LODGING A COMPLAINT AS A GDE, WOULD THIS SERVE THE PURPOSE ?
                --- I NEED TO KNOW ALL THE LEGAL OPTIONS ISSUED BY AIRTEL FOR GENERAL PUBLIC IN CASE OF THEFT OF MOBILES. IT WOULD BE BETTER IF A DOCUMENT ISSUED BY AIRTEL CAN BE PROVIDED.

                  We asked airtel to give a land line cum broadband connection and i told my requirement that few months or days , i will be using the line the remaining days i want them to put me either in safe custody or minimum plan when i am not using . They agreed and installed and i gave lot of notice via customer care ,emails to put me either in safe custody or minimum plan or else terminate my line since a particular date. They or not doing anything and continuing to send me bills even though we are not at home.

                    Airtel Broadband not working
                    I am being harrassed by Bharti Airtel Telecom as my connection is not working from a week. I have complained for several no. of times to the call centre, local office, employees but to no avail which has led to my monetry loss as i am daily online trader, Also they have changed the address of the connection on their own. I did'nt subscribed it, the messages are received daily and today i got a new message stating that "NNEWS sms service would be renewed in 1 day. You will be charged Rs 1/d towards the renewal".                       Airtel is looting us by sending message from 55381 and cutting RS 1/day whether we want or not. Your account balance will be deducted by Rs 1/Day.

                      I did not ask for any news subscription from 55381. I have the internet, and I am happy to use that for getting free news services. Why the hell would I want to get a news message?

                      I have been looking for any reply regarding this foul play that AIRTEL is playing with use OR someone with the help from AIRTEL. And, to my surprise, I did not see any suggestion to unsubscribe/block this.

                      What the hell is going on. Is there any AIRTEL authority loking into this case or not? this is not a problem with one or two individuals. it's a massive problem. If it will not be seen, I am afraid I will have to leave AIRTEL.

                        TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

                        i got a recharge done on my airtel prepaid connection for Rs.80. This recharge gives the offer that for 1 month the customer will be given 500 free sms daily. I got the recharge done on 25th Feb,2010 and got the service then. But the following day i was again being charged normal rates per sms. This was not to have happened.
                        I lodged a complaint in the Airtel customer care and they said that my problem will be solved within 2nd March,2010 by 1.30pm. My problem was not solved by then and I called up again. I was then given the date of 4th March 2010. But my problem was not solved then too. I called up the customer care again and asked. They said that my problem will be resolved by today,i.e. 5th March,2010. But my problem is yet not solved and now i am not even being allowed connection to the customer care. I want my problem resolved ASAP.

                        Hi,
                        I have airtel number [protected] and had recharged with 108 rs pack for 250 free sms. However despite doing two recharges of 108 I am still being charged rs 1.50 per sms and despite giving a complaint on 09 nov numbered [protected] and was told that I would be reimbursed the overcharged money and that the problem too would be solved. Despite passage of 24 hours nothing has been done, neither have I been reimbursed the money nor has the charging stopped. Despite repeated efforts I am unable to get in touch with the help line and its really disgusting. The worst thing is that it’s a prepaid conection in which I am paying in advance and despite that I have to run around trying to get services which you have already taken the money for.
                        Sorry to say but pathetic services and you should be really ashamed of this.

                        even my sms pack of 80 is not working frm today, it workd yesterdy..couldnt contact d executive also
                        I have done recharge of 67 Rs. for Unimited SMS pack on my Airtel number. But from 7th march i am totally unable to send messages. I got a msg to TRY AGAIN everytime i try to send mesgs. I am fed of this and wish to switch on Idea. I think i done a mistake by choosing airtel. Airtel is a big brand and how careless it is towards his customers. I am saying this because i enrolled my complaints thrice but got no solution yet. Now they are saying to wait till 18th. I have my urgent work. Who will solve them ? Airtel ? aaahhhhh God !
                        Bull to you, poor airtel! Wat the hell is wrong with the SMS packs?? A million thanks for your utter disregard to the frustrated customers. It really sucks. Great job! Boooooooo!!!

                        Airtel Prepaid — Non Reimbursement of payment

                        I recharged my airtel prepaid connection using Paymate.
                        Amount of rs.333 was deducted from my account but an e-recharge msg prompted up on my cell phone that recharge was not successful,I enquired abt the deducted amnt from the customercare executives and local airtel office but no one seems to be knowledgeable enough to sort out my problems.I even had the transaction id,but its all in vain.so finally I am left unsatisfied with a loss of deducted balance from my account.

                        I also recharged with Rs.21 which provides 200 sms daily. It worked for a week but after that i was not able to send. The cost was cut from main balance.

                        Airtel Prepaid — Non functioning of the number

                        Hi,

                        I have a prepaid number (+91-[protected]). My number was cut off on Friday night without any reason.When I went to the Zonal office, I was told as my number was heavy usage one, my number was cut.

                        This absurd reason was provided to me with no explanation that why the number was cut in the first place.

                        I was promised that the number will be activated on Saturday evening.

                        That was a lie again given by Airtel Zonal office, as on Monday also, my number is off. The message given to all my client is that the number's incoming calls are barred. Common knowledge tells it is due to lack of paying bills. Which in reality is not the case, as this is a prepaid number.

                        I want to take action against Airtel for harming my reputation in front of various clients across the world who have been given a very bad picture of me.

                          Since everyone is aware of the fact that on the order of security minister, the prepaid service has been stopped in jammu & Kashmir till proper verification. So i also submitted my documents for the re-verification of my airtel no. [protected]. Now its almost 3 months that i had submitted my documents but i don't get any respond from the company neither the no. is restored nor the documents are being sent back. i want u to take strict action on this matter.                           Airtel Prepaid Service — Re activation

                          I was using airtel prepaid coneection with cell number [protected] and went to USA for about seven months. After coming this number is not getting activated. Please help me to get this activated. You can contact me at [protected] in case any additional detail is needed.

                          Yesterday I tried to use the SIM but it indicated again "SIM activation failed". As suggested I contacted airtel customer service at 121. I was told that I will have to visit airtel service center. Normally I am not free during daytime and hence it is very difficut to visit airtel service center.

                          I request again to activate the SIM (cell number [protected]) as per the details furnished and if possible do not insisit for visiting the service center unless it is mandatory.

                            and as well as Wifi Connectivity..

                            Then he consulted with the seniors and they told us to pay another 600 Rs ..
                            which I paid ..

                            but we were not given any wifi connection in regards to that they gave us a DSL modem . and have taken 1000 Rs a s security deposit which they said would be adjusted in the 6 months bill.

                              I got the Airtel Prepaid SMS Pack (of Rs. 88, saying Unlimited STD and Local SMS 700/day for 30 days).

                              I recharged my cell with the Rs. 88 on 2nd March, 2010, TransID[protected]. Recharge was successful. And it was working fine. But from 4th March evening, I am getting separately charged for my SMSs, I have been charged Re. 1 per SMS.

                              Please look into this matter ASAP. And also, I will request you to please revert back the extra money charged to me

                              I always get Rs.88 airtel sms scheme recharged but this time i didnt want it...and when i recharged my talk time, my sms scheme was automatically recharged...i dialled *777*0# for deactivation...it is deactivated but still i didnt get my money back...
                              I request u to revert back my money which was deducted from my balance.

                                AIRTEL BROADBAND HAS CHARGED FOR AN AMOUNT OF RS1000/- FOR A INTERNET CONNECTION INITIALLY COMMITIED TO INSTALL IN 2 DAYS WHICH GOT EXTENDED TO 4 DAYS WHEN THE PAYMENT WAS DONE. ON THE 4TH DAY ON INQUIRY WITH THE CALL CENTRE IT WAS INFORMED THAT THE AREA I AM RESIDING THERE IS NO CONNECTION AVAILABLE AND NO CONNECTION CAN NOT BE PROVIDED.
                                NEXT DAY THE SALES AGENCY (MOON KIRAN) WAS CONTACTED FOR DETAILS THERE WAS NO INFORMATION OR A REVERT FROM THEM THE SAME WAS ESCALATED TO THE CUSTOMER CARE NODAL OFFICER WHO SAID THAT HE CANNOT GET A CONNECTION AS THE CAPACITY FOR THAT AREA IS CROSSED AND YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT FOR 15-20 DAYS.
                                I MENTIONED TO HIM THAT I AM NOT INTERESTED IN A CONNECTION AS I WOULD NOT LIKE TO WAIT FOR SO LONG PLEASE REFUND MY MONEY. TO WHICH I AM INFORMED THAT IT WILL TAKE ANOTHER 15 DAYS TIME TO PROCESS THE REFUND. SO BASICALLY I AM STUCK EITHER WAYS. I ESCALATED THE SAME TO THE APELLATE OFFICER WHICH INTURN HELPING ME IS DICTATING TERMS AND ARGUING.

                                Hello sir,

                                On 23rd November, 2010 a person called for broadband connection which i requested earlier for my residence: 783, 14th cross, K R Road, Jayangar 7th Block, Bangalore 560082. He came to my office and taken all the documnetaion and rs 1500. ( Application # TBLR0082754). At the time of application he confirmed that they feasibilty study has been done and they can give the connection within 7 days. On 25th November i got a call from Airtel again for address verification and they told that tehy will do the feasibilty study. I am quite confused why again feasibilty study would be happened? On 25th November whne i enquired about ny application status by calling customer care they said that it is no network coverage area.

                                I do not understand then why they told that they can give the connection within 7 days on 23 rd November. Mr M S Hariprasad approched me, took all the desired documnet and confirmed that they can give the coonection within 7 days and feasibilty is there in my area on 23rd november.                                 Dear Sir,

                                I am a customer of Airtel Broadband from 15th Dec 2011 till now. A Airtel sales Executive named Amit Kumar [protected] came to me & he told me some plans so I called him on 29th Nov. I told him my whole usage that I am a heavy user & want speed better than 512kbps & unlimited as I was already having mtnl connection at that time so, the executive told me that we do have a 30gb plan which can be offered but for that I have to wait atleast 3-4 months & he told me the procedure as follows:-

                                1. Use Airtel Broadband 649 plan with 3gb usage.
                                2. From second month onwards call Retention team at 121 or 198 & tell them to disconnect airtel broadband & they will change your plan from 649 to 699 with 6gb @2mbps speed & then 256 kbps.
                                3 From 4th month onwards your FUP will get increased from 6gb to 30gb at Rs 599.

                                After this he told me when you got a welcome call please don't mention that you will be getting so and so plan after retention as Airtel will cancel your connection at that point of time. Since my connection has already been late due to some fault from your side & I don't want my connection to get cancelled, I didn't tell the whole procedure at the welcome call.

                                Then my connection started & in every month I talked to the executive & even I have talked to him somewhere around 25th March 2012 & he told me that it will be done by 5th April 2012. But when I called him yesterday he is not picking the call at all & even if he picks the call from some other no. after listening my name he just disconnects the call so today he finally picked the call & when I asked the same he said that it will not be done & again disconnected the call. Even in the 4th month I told him that plan has not changed & he told me that his colleague is there in Retention team & he is saying that there is some pressure from head team so can't change the plan to 30gb this month so kindly tell the customer to wait for another month.

                                Now, in between I have lost various things:-

                                1. My 25 years old MTNL landline connection & it's broadband connection.
                                2. I have to again register for internet connection for which I have to again pay Rs 1500 for registration.
                                3. I have to again search for that landline connection.

                                And in all I got nothing.

                                Now tell me where should I go because now I just want that cheater to be out of Airtel Broadband team & also want full compensation for all that I have lost.

                                This is a serious complain, one of your collection person (Mr.Proloy Pal) call me at the end of March&#039;13, ask me that I have outstanding amount of Rs-3767/- but I have to pay only 2000/- and rest 1767/- will be waived for this i have to pay him personally 200/-cash.
                                As per his view he had collected chq amount of 2000/-(bill no[protected]and 200/- cash for himself but till date 1767/- is not yet been waived .
                                How come a collection person ask for money for waiving ? Is airtel has special drive of taking cash from there client indirectly by the collection man ??? Shame on your part ?????
                                Why my amount has not been waived till date and Iam repeatedly getting call from your csd desk of paying the rest 1767/- for getting my line started when I have already paid cash amount for waiving the amount as per the collecter Mr Pal&#039;s commitment

                                  I am having constant speed problems using Airtel's Micromax datacard for internet. I've been complaining for this issue for the past five months and I've been given run around from the Customer Care and Technical Department for datacard. I've tried to call their Nodal Officers to complain, but nobody picks up the call, even the Airtel relationship center guys told me that they don't even pick their calls. I've also asked to activate outgoing call facility on my no, but its not done. Every single time I've been told that an engineer will call you back within next 48 hrs, but I am still waiting for that call. My Airtel Datacard No. is [protected].

                                  I purchased data card 5 months back.
                                  It is a 3g card.
                                  last month i went to thane airtel office and told to raise a request for converting to 3g services.
                                  He did something on his computer and told me that a request is raised and 3g will be activated in 48 hours.
                                  But even after 10 days it was not activated so i went again to thane office. This time a lady told me that no such request is raised and she again raised a request. she said you will get a call and it will be activated in 72 hours. I asked her for service request no. She said their is no such thing as service request no. it will definitely get activated in 72 hours. Now it is more than 5 days.
                                  I dont understand why airtel is ignoring their customers. Is airtel fooling their customers? Or you dont care about them? Cant she give me service request no? I am not fool to believe her that their is no such thing as service request no. What does airtel think that customers are stupid people who have lot of time to keep complaining? If any airtel customer representative give me some reply on this then i will provide my number and other details.
                                  If this continues i will start a forum for grievances of airtel customer. Do u know what happened to a multi national company after a frustrated customer started a forum? You should not ignore customers. I have never seen such a worse customer care.

                                    My name is Mohamed Haneef and I own the Airtel Mobile number [protected]. I recently (about a month back) converted my Post Paid connection to Prepaid. From then on, I notice that my mobile currency is getting deducted automatically. Initially I thought it was due to the internet connections like Airtel Live and Mobile Office and then later I disabled all the internet related services. Yesterday I called the customer care and reported this problem. They created a complaint (Complaint number:[protected] and told me that it will be resolved by 8th March 2010. Since the mobile currency is getting deducted automatically, even when I recharge in few hours, the mobile balance is going down to 0.18 paise. Because of this I am not able to make any outgoing call. (For example, I recharged my mobile to Rs.150/- yesterday at about 7pm and by 10:30pm my mobile balance went down to 0.18 paise out of which I just made 1 STD call which cost Rs.2/-). So far in the last one month, I have lost about Rs.530/-. Yesterday when I called customer care I had a balance of Rs.38/- after the call when I checked the balance it has gone down to 0.18 paise.
                                    When I reported this issue to the customer care and spoke to customer care representative Raghu and supervisor Mohammed Nadeem they did not care about this issue they have taken it so lightly. Taking 5 days to resolve the priority 1 problem is really not acceptable. Since I not able to make any outgoing calls, I request you kindly take necessary action and resolve my issue as soon as possible and return back the lost currency.

                                    The point I am trying to emphasize here is that 'Taking 5 days to get an update' on a priority issue like this (not able to make the outbound call even after recharge) is NOT ACCEPTABLE at all.

                                    Airtel should be able to prioritize the issue and reduce the resolution period.

                                      I am the Airtel customer for the Broadband for past one year.
                                      From last month I have noted a high raise in the bill which was told that I am downloading at the specific band width which was allowed on call or request. However I did not recall any such incidents that I have requested for any such bandwidth. Since I was travelling I did not have much time to clarify that and I paid and left.
                                      I had also requested to downgrade my plan and opted for the 499 plan as exams were approaching and usage of computer is going to be limited.
                                      However I was shocked to see another enormous bill amounting to 1953. I can promise that we were not in station for many days and the modem was switched off (so there are no possibility of other using through the WIFI), now after we came back even surfing is very minimal as exams are approaching for my daughter.
                                      I have lodged a complaint with the Interaction Id #[protected] and my compliant #30113970.
                                      There is no details provided , like the IP address that the downlaod thats happening , when asked the relevant details are not provided.
                                      I am very sure about the amount of hours usage and downloads that I have done.
                                      I seek justifications in this regard

                                      I am aapplying for Airtel Broadband service for my home but company is applying charges different amount for Delhi & Gurgaon Region. In this case they gave me explanitation that regionwise charge rates are different that is satisfactory explanition but in another case in same region of Gurgaon they are applying different rates for unlimited brooadband usage.

                                        I have been trying to get Airtel Blackberry plan (Tried both Personl Mail Plan and Blackberry Internet Service plan) activated. I keep getting the response "Your request for activation of RS 899/299 plan cannot be processed at the time. Please try again later." I have called up the customer care and registered a gazillion complaints about this and every single time they keep giving the response "our server is down at the moment and please try later" . Get the god damn server fixed guys its been almost two weeks I am getting the same response from you guys...

                                        If we had number portability I would have already switched to some other service provider...Very poor and unprofessional service and approach from Airtel even after repeated complaints.

                                        This is to complain about the laxity in handling services by Airtel which boosts to be one of the leading players in Mobile service provider in India. I was using Airtel number [protected] in the Name of Amit Lohani since last two year as post paid connection with Blackberry services. Recently on the 29th Dec 2010, I converted by post paid number to prepaid by submitting all relevant document at the Airtel consumer center at Kingsway Camp Delhi. I was assured that by 30th December my Blackberry Services would be active.
                                        It been more than 4 days and I have tried my every bit of activating my Blackberry services from my Handset and have called Airtel Helpline almost 10 Times complaining regarding the inaction on their part to activate my services. I have even visited their Consumer center twice but till date no action has been taken. They had given me a complaint number RBBRY[protected] on the 30th December but now that has been closed with resolving the issue.
