I had submitted Recharge coupen to distributor (Sri Krishna Agencies ) three year back and second time nine month back for exchange due to modification done by the company and card is not valid, but till today we have not received recharge coupen or any payment in exchange. so i request you to kindly look on this matter. this case can be treated as fraud case against company.

    Hi All,

    I also got the missed call today (18 march-2010) in the morning & 1st missed call yesterday in the evening. I dialed this number & the person my call & said that i won the lottry prize from Airtel of rupees 25 lacs.he gave me the number of his head office which is ( [protected] ram singh) & told me to speak that person to collect my prize.
    One more important i noticed is two call last for 2 min and 10 sec.and cost 27.54 and 27 rs resp.
    When I call cust. care number 121 they don't have any clue

    I got a call from similar number([protected]) on 17 july 2010, he told me to call me on [protected], when i tired to register my compliant in airtel customer care they refused to do so saying ignore such fake calls.
    i have sent a email on [protected]@airtelindia.com regarding this matter.
    I have got the same call today on 26 Nov 2010, 1 pm... i have requested to not to disclose any one this thing and i won 25 lacs...really rediculous

      Respected Sir,

      I , Mohan kumar A K , have been working in Cochin for the last 4years.

      I have been using one Airtel mobile postpaid connection ([protected]) for last three years. due to financial problem last two bills amount can not paid. but i made a payment of 1000/- on 28th February which is collected by an executive named Mr.Anil ([protected])who guaranteed me that he will manage to cancel the barring of outgoing and incoming call till march end and for that i need to make the balance payment in the tenure. but after 2 days my outgoing and incoming calls have been barred. i have informed Mr Manoj but barring have not been solved.

      then on march 10th an executive named Mr. Manoj ([protected])called me in my alternative number of [protected], and convert me to make the payment the march itself, i have guaranteed him that i should
      make the payment .but on 13th march a lady had made call to my two friends having numbers (Only two informed me about this) and told about my due of payments and asked my contact details but i have already give my alternate mobile number and mail id [protected]@gmail.com to Airtel for the best communication which has been used by Airtel many times. But instead o[censored]sing my above number or mail id ,they had tracked my call history and called my friends without any reason because that time my alternative mobile number is active and available. i had made call to Mr. Manoj and informed the situation and my resistance to pay the balance where i have been threatened like anything.

      Again 15th march Another executive who having mobile number [protected] had called and asked about
      the payment.that time i have expressed my resistance to pay the balance. but after few time again my friends got call from the same number ([protected]) and discussed about the due payments where i was really so cruelly insulted .Here Airtel has purposefully misused my call history without any legal reason.

      This is not for reasoning me for not making my payment but for the cruel method used by the collection team against the poor customers. Also this reveals the freedom which is given to the collection team by the service providers which is really "the hurt of my human rights". here the authority can check my history of payments details against Airtel which almost a fair till last September when my business become very bad. Three week back i joined in a new company and i will pay the balance very soon. but before that i need to get my rights regarding this kind of call history tracking and insulting me within my business and friends network.

      Respected Sir/Madam,
      My name is Dipankar Roy & my Mob. No.[protected] addressed by B/213, Patuli, Garia, Kol-94.My handset Model No. Samsung B5722 DUOS TOUCH & its IMEI No. [protected] buy from Fast Information Centre, 30A, Baghajatin Place, Kol-86. (Attached Scan Copy).
      On 29.03.2011 I came at Vodafone store Garia branch customer care department at 11:00 A.M to connect net connection on my cell phone & paid Rs.98/_ for this connection charge & recharge Rs.20/_ top up for balance. (Attached Scan Copy)
      The customer care executive said that it would connect during 4 hours but not connect that day.
      Next day (30.03.2011) at 11:00 A.M again came at Vodafone store Garia branch customer care department & the executive said that it happen due to my previous negative balance (previous any time) & it will connect between 4-6 hours but till now not connected.
      I am fad up I have no time to go again & again Vodafone store Garia branch customer care department due to my job.
      So please inform me what is the responsibility of Vodafone Esser Company for a customer & how to solve my harassments?
      Please do the needful as soon as possible.

        I received the same SMS in my mobile (Airtel [protected]) yesterday, that i have won an Airtel DTH set top box and was instructed to login the website http://airteldigitaldish.com I logged in and i entered my address and contact number. After submitting the details i got the message your request has been registered. Today i got a SMS from my mobile that i need to relogin to the same website to confirm my order. Sameway i logged in with my mobile number, In that page it was mentioned that the Airtel DTH set top box would reach my mailing address on 08-09-10 from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM


        It also mentioned that, To avail this offer i need to pay Rs 400 as Customer service tax. I need to deposit this amount in nearest SBI in the the name of Karthick pal A/C - [protected]
        I need to pay this amount before 3:30 PM today. Upon depositing the amount i need to send fax of the deposit receipt to[protected] After sending the fax i would be receiving a confirmation call from Airtel DTH within 4 hrs. Failing to deposit the amount would result in cancellation of this offer.

        Pls let know is this a valid offer from Airtel ??? Or any prank SMS???

        I did got that message too...the guy designed this cheating must be a clever guy to collect money in this way. This is abosulutely a Prank message. Don't believe it...When airtel is giving that kind of gift free they will not ask for any of this cheap tax in some executive's account number. A little commonsense is required here.

          For the last five years I've enjoyed the mobile services of Airtel. Though it's a bit costlier than other services, the quality has always satisfied me to such a degree that I've had no reason to complain about the financial loss -- until recently. On Feb 25, 2010 I made a recharge with Rs. 80 with the hope of getting 500 local and national sms per day. The hope crushed on the following day when I discovered with horror the sms charge being deducted from my main balance. Then, after a long series of calls to the customer care, I was ultimately allowed to avail myself of the benefits from Mar 11, 2010 onwards. The story doesn't come to an end even here. From yesterday (Mar 16, 2010) the balance-deduction has started happening again. I've already called twice to the customer care but the executives have offered me false hopes ("Your service will be normal within two hours", etc). I pray on my knees to God and God-like Airtel to have mercy on my sms-crazy little soul. My mobile number is [protected].

          Ifaced the same issue pal...am really pissed..
          Ifail to understand why Airtel keeps changing plans without providing any notification to their dealers.Ihave lost Rs80 plus the balance Ihad has been deducted.Am broke as at present am unemployed and am really upset with AIRTEL.Ireally wish to get a refund.[protected]
          i am using airtel rs80 plan.But i cannot send more than 100sms a day. what is the problem?please inform. After i complete sending 100 sms a day, Re.1 gets deducted from my main balance. Is there any other UNLIMITED SMS plans? please can somebody tell me
          I hae re-charged with Rs. 26 on 2nd Nov 2011 an sending Airtel Local or Nation SMS for free and others local or National @0.10p. When reached 100 SMS they blocked my SMS of that day but yesterday after few SMS they sudden deduct my main Balance. I talked with CC executive she said they provide only 500 SMS for whole period. Whom will you trust? They said before no limitation in pack only TRAI rules apply but now said 500 but before this recharge I already sent more than 500 SMS. Always wrong communication for fooling customer. I will shift to Reliance 1p sms plan by porting number. MY mobile no is [protected].

            Airtel Data Card MMX300G, not getting deducted in any system. logged the complain to several airtel no and micromax customer care also but they are not responding and from 23 feb the probled is not yet resolved. on 15 march 10 logged complain to nodel office complain no 31399020. request you to kindly go through this matter.
            All people gives each other nos. but non of them are resolving problem.

              I am a customer with Airtel Karnataka for the past 3 years+ and have been regular and prompt payer of bills. My Mobile Number is [protected].

              I traveled to Japan on 27th November 2009 and reached on 28th November 2009. I returned to India on 12th December 2009. There is over Rs.10000/- charged for Data, when I had not used data transfer / data connection.

              Again, I traveled on 19th December 2009 late evening and reached Japan on 20th December 2009. I returned to India on 23rd December 2009. I received an SMS alert on 20th December tell me my outstanding as over 25000/- On 21st December 2009 afternoon I received another alert stating my outstanding as Rs.36000/- Within a span of 1 day without using data connection, I do not know how Rs.11000/- can be the increase.

              I had disputed these data charges and till date without resolution, i keep getting calls from Airtel at all times and every time i need to explain the same story to their CSRs. Meanwhile, I kept Paying the Regular Plan, Call and SMS charges.

              Today i.e. 17th March 2010, my outgoing calls and SMs were barred even though I had paid all the phone charges except for the above disputed amount asking them to provide breakup of the sites that I am said to have visited. Till date they did not provide me the breakup, but had barred my Outgoing facility.

              I hope at least now they will resolve, failing which need to highlight this kind of money making in press and take up legally.
              Now Airtel is sending Goondas and Rowdies to collect money who keep abusing and threatening us including my aged mother when I am not around.

              Instead of being lawful, Airtel is resorting to cheap and shameless tactics of sending messages to all the number, whom I might have called at some time during those 3 years.

              Besides, Airtel has been harassing some of the persons for payment or information, whose numbers appeared on my itemized call statement.

              Not choice, but to go to the police and higher ups for these threats.
              Excess Data Charges without Supporting Documents during International Roaming

              BESIDES, AIRTEL HAS BEEN CALLLING AND HARASSING SOME OF THE PERSONS FOR PAYMENT OR INFORMATION, WHOSE NUMBERS APPEARED ON MY ITEMIZED CALL STATEMENT IN THE PAST.
              THERE NODAL OFFICER DISHES OUT STANDARD ANSWERS.
              INSTEAD OF BEING LAWFUL, AIRTEL IS RESORTING TO CHEAP AND SHAMELESS TACTICS OF SENDING MESSAGES TO ALL THE NUMBER, WHOM I MIGHT HAVE CALLED AT SOME TIME DURING THOSE 3 YEARS.
              NOT CHOICE, BUT TO GO TO THE POLICE AND HIGHER UPS FOR THESE THREATS.

                Dear Sir,

                I hold the mobile number [protected] and it has this jokes and love quotes continuously arriving on my mobile in spite of sending numerous unsubscribe SMS to the listed numbers. The icing on the cake is every time it is deducting the amount also from my prepaid account.

                I have no idea how these jokes and quotes have got subscribed but i would like to terminate these jokes and love quotes immediately please.

                  Sir,
                  My Airtel prepaid mobile no. is [protected]. Today all of a sudden I received a sms stating that my hello tune is changed. BUT I HAVE NEVER ACTIVATED IT. I NEVER AVAILED THIS SERVICE. Respective amount has deducted as well. I received no proper explanation from customer care and my call was disconneted as well. I wish to deactivate this service immediately.
                  Even my number got deducted with automatic activation of Hello Tune service and they deducted 30 rupees first and when I sent an un-subsribe sms they further deducted 10 rupees for that single SMS...

                  if the CEO needs money they can come and beg otherwise ?

                  I have received a call from Airtel in which they are giving information regarding Hello Tunes and suddenly 3-4 songs are playing and after that call was disconnected and after some time I got a sms form Airtel Hello Tunes that my hello tunes have been activated and 45 Rs have deducted from my account. I have not done anything and without my permission how can they activate hello tunes on my mobile. Please sort this out asap.

                    Dear Sir,

                    My number is [protected]. My Airtel bill used to be appx. 1500 a month. Later they sent me bills of Rs.10921 for 3 months period. I disputed it. I said its wrong as my usage never goes that high.

                    I received calls from Airtel office their number is 43396310 and collector was Pooja. She offered me waver of 1521 and said my phone will start within a week if I make a payment of Rs. 9400.

                    Though I was never agree that I have done calls for Rs. 9400 however I made the payment of this amount as I wanted my phone to start ASAP.

                    Now they are not starting my phone, I went to Airtel outlet several times and they say that I have an outstanding of Rs.1521. and my phone is permanently disconnected.

                    Kindly advice what do I do.

                      I has complained Airtel DTH about 25 February for a faulty set top box, and registered a complaint regarding the same. As of today (16 March), the complaint stands unresolved. I have lodged atleast 7 - 8 different complaints about this and spoken to many many executives from customer care as well as in the escalation department regarding the faulty equipment. Cleverly though everytime i make a complaint to airtel, within a day i get a call from their customer care centre, and they promise that the issue would be resolved in 24 hrs time. After the 24 Hrs time i only get a SMS on my phone that the compaint I placed has been resolved. On three occassions, airtel engineers have visited my premises and ascertained that the equipment is faulty and they will come back the next day to replace it.

                      Please help with this as i am being cheated for months together regarding the rents i pay and the price i paid to get the equipment. I only trusted the brand airtel and made my purchase on it, but had i known the service quality, i would never have invested in such a big headache.

                      It is also my sincere and honest advice to people seeking to buy a new DTH connection to refrain from airtel. Everything works well untill you have an issue and after that it is only the painful headache that you get.

                        Hi, my number is [protected]. I am getting marketing calls at midnite between 12 am and 3 am . Its sleeping time. i have dnd active. But i knw it needs 45 days of time. It is okay if the calls are @ day time. I called customer care for the same, they said i will get a call back about it all the time. No one called me.Pls do help me to stop this.

                        Really pathetic sitution they r making. The offers they are giving is not getting after recharge. Before recharge if we call cusomer care, they say the offer really exists. But after recharge it disappears.

                        I am not going to think about offers they give. i just need all the marketing sms and cals STOPED. Kindly help me with that.

                          i am Sujeet Kumar have a complaint against Airtel Pune regarding negligence with valuable customer.
                          I have applied for airtel postpaid sim connection on 21 Feb 2010 . I gave all the relevant documents and an initial payment of Rs 300. But i did not received the activated sim card or even any response from them. Then i went to their customer care outlet at Wega centre Pune on 6th march 2010 then there i was misguided to several other outlets with further frustrated me.then later finally i was assured that i will getting a refund of the amount paid on monday date 8th March 2010 but neither the customer executive came nor any call. i have been trying to reach them but they are not picking up my calls. so i would like to register a complaint against them.

                                Dear Team,

                                I had taken a Airtel postpaid connection in Bangalore. It was working fine.

                                I had to relocate back to Mumbai for some reasons, on confirmation from the Bangalore Airtel team that, I can get a mumbai no. on the same SIM, I applied for a transfer/reloaction request.

                                I was told that, the transfer would take 3-4 weeks and I was ok with it.
                                On contacting the Airtel Mumbai helpdesk, I was told to get a new SIM for the Mumbai number.

                                During this phase, my cell phone got stolen in the Mumbai local trains.

                                After which I asked the Airtel Bangalore customer care to discontinue my bangalore no. and not transfer.
                                Since my connection was from the Airtel Bangalore circle, Airtel mumbai couldn't help me in any case.

                                During my further interactions with Bangalore customer care, I noticed that my number was converted into a prepaid connection, which was postpaid earlier. This was noticed in the IVR selection process.

                                The conversion was a mistake from the Airtel Bangalore Customer care executive, but still Airtel bangalore was reluctant to accept this.

                                I had to make them realise, that without any submission of relevant documents, a customer cant convert his postpaid connection to a pre-paid one.

                                I was constantly interacting with airtel for the refund of my deposit and other amounts through email.

                                Since I had relocated to Mumbai and requested to dispatch the cheque to my mumbai address.
                                The address proof was submitted for the same on the 30th Jan'10. Its been 5 months now, I am still awaiting the refund from airtel bangalore.

                                Till date, there has been no response from the airtel bangalore team on the same. Whether the cheque has been dispatched or its still on hold. No status was shared with me on the same.

                                Airtel transfer/reloaction process and classification of customers at circle-level is a serious issue of concern.

                                Above issues coupled with pethatic customer care was seriously very frustrating, I never had any issues with Airtel till now, but this experience was not good. I have been using airtel for a long time but this experience will now keep me away from airtel for the rest of my life.

                                Customer service in India is seriously neglected and organisations like airtel are not taking it seriously.
                                But they have to look into this asap, since the Indian consumer is now more knowledgable and information is easily accessible. Kindly help to raise this issue in the rightful manner.

                                  actually what happened that my home airtel dth whose customer id is [protected],connection lost taking signals on 13/03/2010. For which I complained to customer care deptt. the customer care official said that the connection will be allright till 1:30 noon of next day that was 14/03/2010. I lost all my favourite programmes along with 20:20 cricket match. I kept quiet and felt that the connection will be ok at noon. I awaited for the technician or call from the customer care deptt. but none of them came till time. I further call to the cc and they told that the conn. is in under repairing and it will be all right till 5:30 evening, I wait for the time but the conn. was still not worked. They spoiled my sunday,I called once more the cc told that you will served till 1:30 noon of 15/03/2010. I don't have any faith left in their deptt. this was ridiculous and embarrassing this is how airtel is giving service to their customers.

                                    I have purchased airtel broadband, and they had this scheme , that the person having airtel digital tv and airtel broadband will receive double broadband speed upto 1 year.

                                    Now, as I am eligible for the scheme, i contacted airtel customer care about this offer many times, by email and by phone. But every time I received this strange reply, that because I have paid for 6 months in advance
                                    , they cannot give me this service and I must wait 6 months, if the offer will still be available after 6 months, than they will give me this service.

                                    I am highly disappointed by their lame excuse. I have paid in advance because I need the broadband for long time, and this made me unqualified for their offer ??

                                    Airtel persons can contact me on my email.

                                    I am thinking to go in consumer court.

                                    I am also going to post negative feedback in discussion forums about airtel.

                                    Telephone companies are the second biggest scammers after the worldwide Pharmaceutical Fraud.

                                    I am on a Freedom 1699 1 Mbps Unlimited plan since December 2009. I was made to undergo a bitter ordeal to get the lousy/ unbelievably sloppy Airtel personnel to get my line up and running and they set me on a wild goose chase for two weeks after they took my money & finally activated my connection (several calls and threats later) !!

                                    An executive from Bangalore called me on the 8th of March 2010 with an exciting new offer. "Sir we are happy to give out a new offer you are eligible for double broadband speed at a measly add-on of Rs. 100 and you get to make calls for the same amount local or STD and you will get 2 Mbps from your present 1 Mbps speed within 7 days if you opt for this upgrade." Then on the 11th of March 2010, i received an SMS that said "Pay just Rs. 100 per month and double your Airtel Broadband speed from 1 MBPS to 2 MBPS. Also get free call value worth Rs. 100. SMS DELIGHT to 53636 to activate (Sender AX-Airtel- 17:17:19 - 03/11/2010) which I opted in and right away and received a confirmation that said

                                    "Thank you for subscribing to Airtel DELIGHT Offer. The offer will be activated and you can enjoy the benefits within 96 hours - Team Airtel at 17:29:13 the same day March 11th 2010.

                                    I called up 121 to confirm the same and the call center executive said it would be done within the time frame that was promised earlier on and i would be billed on a prorata basis.

                                    I again called up Airtel customer service this morning to let them know that the upgrade is yet to take effect after 12 days i.e., 288 hours later & the call center guy gave me a complaint # 30677688 and confirmed that the new plan has been upgraded at their end on the 17th and i could expect the 2Mbps speed in a day or two maximum. I get a call at 4 p.m. today and the gentleman says "Sir you had requested for an upgrade to 2Mbps unfortunately that offer has ended and you will not be eligible for the same !!

                                    Do they think we are a bunch of Retards ?? I am posting this just to skin these wolves in sheep's clothing alive ! I for one have vowed to take these unethical marketing devils to task !

                                    I will post in all the forums that are out there and annihilate this telephone/broadband operator and won't quit until they eat their words and upgrade my account to the promised bandwith without delay ~! The sooner the better or I will be forced to destroy the goodwill factor in the market place by starting a storm of a bone crusher campaign against this blessed company AirTel !! Thank you !
