Dear Team,

I had taken a Airtel postpaid connection in Bangalore. It was working fine.

I had to relocate back to Mumbai for some reasons, on confirmation from the Bangalore Airtel team that, I can get a mumbai no. on the same SIM, I applied for a transfer/reloaction request.

I was told that, the transfer would take 3-4 weeks and I was ok with it.
On contacting the Airtel Mumbai helpdesk, I was told to get a new SIM for the Mumbai number.

During this phase, my cell phone got stolen in the Mumbai local trains.

After which I asked the Airtel Bangalore customer care to discontinue my bangalore no. and not transfer.
Since my connection was from the Airtel Bangalore circle, Airtel mumbai couldn't help me in any case.

During my further interactions with Bangalore customer care, I noticed that my number was converted into a prepaid connection, which was postpaid earlier. This was noticed in the IVR selection process.

The conversion was a mistake from the Airtel Bangalore Customer care executive, but still Airtel bangalore was reluctant to accept this.

I had to make them realise, that without any submission of relevant documents, a customer cant convert his postpaid connection to a pre-paid one.

I was constantly interacting with airtel for the refund of my deposit and other amounts through email.

Since I had relocated to Mumbai and requested to dispatch the cheque to my mumbai address.
The address proof was submitted for the same on the 30th Jan'10. Its been 5 months now, I am still awaiting the refund from airtel bangalore.

Till date, there has been no response from the airtel bangalore team on the same. Whether the cheque has been dispatched or its still on hold. No status was shared with me on the same.

Airtel transfer/reloaction process and classification of customers at circle-level is a serious issue of concern.

Above issues coupled with pethatic customer care was seriously very frustrating, I never had any issues with Airtel till now, but this experience was not good. I have been using airtel for a long time but this experience will now keep me away from airtel for the rest of my life.

Customer service in India is seriously neglected and organisations like airtel are not taking it seriously.
But they have to look into this asap, since the Indian consumer is now more knowledgable and information is easily accessible. Kindly help to raise this issue in the rightful manner.

    actually what happened that my home airtel dth whose customer id is [protected],connection lost taking signals on 13/03/2010. For which I complained to customer care deptt. the customer care official said that the connection will be allright till 1:30 noon of next day that was 14/03/2010. I lost all my favourite programmes along with 20:20 cricket match. I kept quiet and felt that the connection will be ok at noon. I awaited for the technician or call from the customer care deptt. but none of them came till time. I further call to the cc and they told that the conn. is in under repairing and it will be all right till 5:30 evening, I wait for the time but the conn. was still not worked. They spoiled my sunday,I called once more the cc told that you will served till 1:30 noon of 15/03/2010. I don't have any faith left in their deptt. this was ridiculous and embarrassing this is how airtel is giving service to their customers.

I complaint to madhav communication for this problem but still there is no response from that. So, I m requesting you to please take action regarding my problem.

      I have purchased airtel broadband, and they had this scheme , that the person having airtel digital tv and airtel broadband will receive double broadband speed upto 1 year.

      Now, as I am eligible for the scheme, i contacted airtel customer care about this offer many times, by email and by phone. But every time I received this strange reply, that because I have paid for 6 months in advance
      , they cannot give me this service and I must wait 6 months, if the offer will still be available after 6 months, than they will give me this service.

      I am highly disappointed by their lame excuse. I have paid in advance because I need the broadband for long time, and this made me unqualified for their offer ??

      Airtel persons can contact me on my email.

      I am thinking to go in consumer court.

      I am also going to post negative feedback in discussion forums about airtel.

      Telephone companies are the second biggest scammers after the worldwide Pharmaceutical Fraud.

      I am on a Freedom 1699 1 Mbps Unlimited plan since December 2009. I was made to undergo a bitter ordeal to get the lousy/ unbelievably sloppy Airtel personnel to get my line up and running and they set me on a wild goose chase for two weeks after they took my money & finally activated my connection (several calls and threats later) !!

      An executive from Bangalore called me on the 8th of March 2010 with an exciting new offer. "Sir we are happy to give out a new offer you are eligible for double broadband speed at a measly add-on of Rs. 100 and you get to make calls for the same amount local or STD and you will get 2 Mbps from your present 1 Mbps speed within 7 days if you opt for this upgrade." Then on the 11th of March 2010, i received an SMS that said "Pay just Rs. 100 per month and double your Airtel Broadband speed from 1 MBPS to 2 MBPS. Also get free call value worth Rs. 100. SMS DELIGHT to 53636 to activate (Sender AX-Airtel- 17:17:19 - 03/11/2010) which I opted in and right away and received a confirmation that said

      "Thank you for subscribing to Airtel DELIGHT Offer. The offer will be activated and you can enjoy the benefits within 96 hours - Team Airtel at 17:29:13 the same day March 11th 2010.

      I called up 121 to confirm the same and the call center executive said it would be done within the time frame that was promised earlier on and i would be billed on a prorata basis.

      I again called up Airtel customer service this morning to let them know that the upgrade is yet to take effect after 12 days i.e., 288 hours later & the call center guy gave me a complaint # 30677688 and confirmed that the new plan has been upgraded at their end on the 17th and i could expect the 2Mbps speed in a day or two maximum. I get a call at 4 p.m. today and the gentleman says "Sir you had requested for an upgrade to 2Mbps unfortunately that offer has ended and you will not be eligible for the same !!

      Do they think we are a bunch of Retards ?? I am posting this just to skin these wolves in sheep's clothing alive ! I for one have vowed to take these unethical marketing devils to task !

      I will post in all the forums that are out there and annihilate this telephone/broadband operator and won't quit until they eat their words and upgrade my account to the promised bandwith without delay ~! The sooner the better or I will be forced to destroy the goodwill factor in the market place by starting a storm of a bone crusher campaign against this blessed company AirTel !! Thank you !

          Though it's IN VAIN to COMPLAINT here,still I'm writing ...
          As usual,a call came from airtel customer care services about jokes,shayari packs
          telling to press button 1 or 5 or something like that...but I pressed the RED BUTTON (end call button)..
          ..a few seconds after pressing the red button(i.e.,ending the call),an embarrasing message was received - "Dear customer thank you for subscribing to Love Shayari SMS PACK.You have been charged Rs.1 for 1 days.To deactivate SMS STOP to 121.Thank You ...
          Why it's so inspite having experts at customer care office...
          it seems that Airtel is just to plunder the poor people..
          why it's GOT SUBSCRIBED INSPITE of pressing THE RED BUTTON...
          ...ther might be some loopholes in progamming gy Airtel...
          I've realised so many times ..and now it became important to inform you....
          Please rectify them...otherwise it wiil be a shame on such a big company like AIRTEL!!!
          .and NO NEED to send any SUGGETIONS about any PACKS of AIRTEL in future in my number ...totally got annoyed by such rubbish messages!!1

            I didn't opt for,54321 & 52906015 love tips services,but its automatically starts & regularly Rs2 deducting from balance,i just opt for 2 services Only,i had sent message to "UNSUB Love Tips to 54321"& i got message "Your service has been deactivated successfully.... ",but again messages from 5432102 or 5432101 or 52906015..& my balance going minus...everyday i recharged balance & after some hours later or next morning its shows my balance from Rs.95 to 0.23paisa or -4.34..where those Rs.95..gone..sometimes i cn't call to anyone in emergency time..please do something on this matter,on urgent basis as soon as possible..& please try to return my balance..

              i m tracing my mob usage frm last 2 months & making lmtd calls still the bill goes on increasing after gvng call 2 coustomer care the exe reply recorded msg like v don't have d details now pls gve a call in next month.
              Calling repeatedly i don't get satisfied ans hope u ll sort out my prob.

                MY aitel consimer id- [protected] and recenty i have changed my old high value package to new low value package. But after several request to local dealer and airtel concern person Mr sanjay pradhan (mob no.[protected]) has not resolved the problem I am help less. No one is listning to me. and ultimately i have been asked to do any action against them. They stopped bothering about my problem Please help me

                  I received this offer via text message:
                  AT- Talktime:

                  Full TT offer on RC 111! RC 111=Rs 111 TT 20 days validity. Hurry recharge today. Dial *123*9# to check TT offer.

                  i paid the above sum expecting that my tt would in fact allow me 111.00 of value.

                  on registering the payment on rc i was informed that only airtel to airtel would be covered by this scheme . and that too for 20 days only.

                  what did i gain in all this?

                  why does the company say full tt. and they fail to mention that this applies to
                  airtel to airtel subscribers only.

                  I would like to drag them to court. its not the sum that worries me. its the nefaarious and callous attitude of Airtel. This is in fact management double speak
                  they use the limits of the english language as understood in india to carry out these underhanded activities.

                  i want an apology by sms and an assurance tht this practice will cease .

                  So many people who will not read between the lines will be conned into recharging huge sums.

                  And Airtel must man their complaints department with human specimens rather than the infamous AVRS.

                  I too recharged today when i see rc 111, but after that i noticed that it is not updated and when i ask the retailer he asked me to check by using *123*9# and when checked it shows that the amount is only for a2a. This is not acceptable. They didnt inform in the add regarding this.
                  i recharged rs111 for my cousin as the retailer told me that it gives full tt. my cousin is on his way to mumbai, travelling alone and he is not able to contact us. he kept on calling from public booths asking me to check what happened to the tt. i want airtel to immediately check on this issue and do the needful. my grandfather is a consumer protection member and if not resolved, will take this matter to the court.

                    since last 40 days,there is problem in gprs connection, i can not use gprs network, i had made 10 complaints regarding problem to airtel company since 40 days, every time they are giving me just reassurance,but they did not solve problem for 40 days, they sharged me rs 380 for gprs connection, though gprs is not avialable for 4o days dut to techinical problemc of company.

                    Airtel Postpaid — Poor Service

                    I have converted my airtel prepaid to postpaid. After fifteen days my connection get disconnected withput any pre-notice. I have called the customer care, but i have been just told that ur service will start again within few hours. Two days past but still my connection not activated.
                    What to do with this kind of service providers, as they dont know the importance of clients.
                    What is the use of writing complaints here ? Can they hear us ?

                    My Grievances –

                    23.05.2008 – I have applied for 998/- Advance rental plan (to convert pre to post paid connection) but so far it’s not been activated in spite of Verbal confirmation from coordinator & from Kunal (Distributor - FOS)

                    Details of Events

                    23.05.2008 - I have received a call from Nitika/Nidhi[protected], and she explain me the plan 998/- I have confirmed her to send someone and I will complete the formalities. I have received a sale confirmation call from her senior (Don’t remember the name) immediately and call from Kunal after some time
                    Sales person came around 5:21 pm and all formalities were done at 5:47 pm .

                    Setting my expectation wrong just for the sake of sale – I was told that if I will pay through chq the conversion (From Pre to post paid) will happen within 72 hrs.
                    This was expectable to me. I m an Airtel customer from last 6-7 years and I know its a standard TAT.

                    I was impressed when I was told that if I will pay cash conversion will be done within 6 hrs. So I paid cash. But unfortunately your T & C on the back of your SEF doesn’t say so.

                    This is clearly a case where sales people are setting customer’s expectation wrong just to get one sale.

                    Who wouldn’t want this plan but the way it was sold but was??????

                    I still understand that sales guy must be late and was not able to submit the from yesterday, but hole days has passed today but no update.

                    I have called your pre-paid toll free no. and there was no update whether this connection is going to be converted in to post paid connection. (The conversation is recorded with me). The CSC told that the conversion will happen within 24 hrs not in 6 hrs.

                    The call I received from[protected], 2220127 these nos. belongs to Faridabad not delhi okhla. What I m trying to say is airtel DSA is making such promises on the behalf of a company, there must be some communication gap while setting the product or providing download to DSA's.

                    Airtel is Six Sigma Certify and If this is kind of services I’ll get I would like to cancel the plan and want my money back.

                    I am Rajiv Arora from Ghaziabad. I had the Airtel Postpaid Connection thats I left it before 3 months back. I was very priore client of Bharti Airtel but I am very depressed now a days. I used this Airtel postpaid connection since last 4.5 years and paid my bill on time. I had given around 6000 Rs.as a bill payment on an average every month. But before 3 months back an Airtel executive makes misbehave in front of me and customer care was not listin my complaint. They called to my relatives my friends and many person and told wrong thing about me. Now I want to know what can i do. i have taken any legal Action or what? please tell me the way to get red of this kind of Harassment.

                    SIR IAM USING AIRTEL POSTPAID CONNECTION FOR MORE THAN 3YEARS, BUT LAST MONTH WHEN IAM USING GPRS SERVICE I WAS LOGGED TO A WAP SITE AND JUST SEARCHING THE CONTENTS, SUDDENLY I GOT TWO SMS THAT IHAVE CHARGED RS 60 FOR DOWNLOADING GAMES. I CONTACTED COUSTOMER CARE OFFICER AND TOLD ABOUT THIS HE GAVE A REFERENCE NUMBER AND AFTER A WEEK I CONTACT A HIGHER OFFICAL HE TOLD ME THAT PROBLEM IS DUE TO ACTIVE OF SOME SERVICE IN MY MOBILE. I AM SATISFIED WITH THIS REPLY AND ALSO ANOTHER PROBLEM IS WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR CONFORMATION ONE OF THEIR COUSTOMERCARE OFFICER HAS ACCTIVATED CALLER TUNE.                     The son of a politician Bharti Mittal, Sunil Mittal is from the town of Ludhiana in Punjab. the stigma on indian componies. ek badsa bhaddasa daag...gandagi faila raha hai thro his mobile (Bharati Airtel) services.
                    I think it is obvious as he belongs to politician family
                    Paisa to gaya ab chain bhi chhin rahe hai sale...uske kutte....bar bar phone karke sat bar mana karane ke bawjud bhi....besharmi ki har had ko langh chuke hai harami sale.

                    All The employes of Bharti Airtel are kutte, gandi nali ke kide hai...
                    We are sufferer of airtel bill dispute.

                    I have taken 2 numb's, are activated on 12th sept, 2009, with bill plan CUG group talk 249 MB.
                    I have paid Rs.1000/- as refundable deposite on 12th sept, 09.which is adjustable in my bill.

                    I have tken a connection at Novelty Enterprises Shop no.112, Madni complex, A.K.Marg.Bandra (E) Mumbai-51with Customer relation ship forms preprinted serial numbers of MMU[protected] & MMU[protected].
                    At the time of Taking the connection Mr.Santosh ([protected]) has been committed first 1000 min free every month which is not reflected in my bills.I gave complaint several times against for the above.
                    In the month of Dec, 09 cancelled [protected] on 20th Dec, 2009, next number [protected] cancelled on 13th jan, 2010. I have paid the remaining amont Rs.800/- against of my bill after adjustment of refundable deposite and surrendered my both mobile numbers.

                    But still iam getting calls from Airtel office malad every day Ms.Puja [protected], Ms.Rajashree [protected] .Thay almost all harrassing me with bad words, i explained several time all my issues and adjustments.
                    To day also i went to Airtel outlet Meera Road Opp to Rassaj theatre and explined to customer care people but no body is able to help me regarding this.I dailed 888 from thare i spoke to Mr.Murugan and again i explained entire situation, he gave me the complaint number 30938150.

                    I hope this is not the airtel service process, to deal with existing customer.Iam getting fed up with this., Iam making very clear that these numbers has been cancelled and kindly reimburse 1000 min free charges which you have been charged from Sept, 09, balance amount will be adjusted towards my security deposit.Till now it has not been done, and no body bothering also from Airtel side, just they want payments.Payment on what basis, where is my security deposit, why it has not been mention in my bills?Has not given any answer till now.

                    Associates has never turn up & they dont transfer the calls also, finally we suffers every day from Airtel

                    I hope after this my faith on Airtel will remains the same.

                      i have recieved sms from 560706 stating you have won pearl set and asked my name and address.
                      i have given them my details. they have asked processing charges, but this message is fraud. telecom operators should take strict action against 560706 company. after googling i found it was Jewellery Shop name Tara Pearls of Hyderabad. I request every one to call on their numbers , 040 24752128 as per google who ever came into this fraud , 2475 2128 call them and abuse them. this is true case of spamming.

                      This Problem is not only with Airtel, me being a Vodafone customer have also received a similar message. But instead of sending the details i preferred to google about the message first and was not surprised to see the SMS as spam.

                      We need to be more careful while giving mobile numbers in promotional schemes at Exibitions, petrol pump etc as these prove to be data mine for spammers.

                      Me also received the same message, Why this Mobile operators do not block these no 56070 or TD-WINNER or TM-WINNER.It means that the mobile operator's are also involve in this.They might me getting a huge money to run this business.so that they are not blocking these no even after so many complaints.I think we customer should take some stand on this and complaints is to be registered to TRAI and to inform the media

                        i use a airtel prepaid no [protected],. i got a message from airtel that i have an offer that if i top up my account with rs 250 i will get a special talk time bonus of rs 275. i paid the money and got the offer.all of a sudden i got a message from airtel that i have no balance in my account.i contacted their customer care, and found out that the money is being added to my special account and my main account dosent have any balance.i dont know how much is charged for the call as when ever i talk i got a message that my account has a balance of 12 rupees, and they deducted the money for caller tunes too.now according to airtel i have a balance of 130 rupees, still i cant make any outgoing calls as my main account is very low and in a negative balance. all i have to ask airtel is, why you people want to cheat customers by saying a main account, a special account, even tough i have money as balance i cant make a call. is this called service?

                          I have been using GPRS services of Airtel since one month. Rs 98/- recharge for 2gb download for 30 days. One morning, I received an SMS from them saying Mobile Office has been activated on my handset. “No activation, No monthly Rental, You only pay for the downloads” (see how cleverly they word it). When I opened my browser, some games, fun links are shown to me. I did not want to download or play games right in the morning. So, I just closed the browser on my phone. Immediately, while checking my balance, I found Rs 16.50 knocked off my balance for just visiting their home page. Do n’t you think this is day robbery?
                          Other day my colleague was robbed while going from Bus stop to his house at 11.30 PM in Bangalore and some Rs 1100/- robbed from him with mobile and watch. This night robbery is atleast ‘OK’ as we know that something like that CAN happen to us. But this Airtels Day-light robbery is something all o[censored]s have to seriously think about. This company is slowly adapting all un-ethical practices like this as their market share is shrinking due to competition.
                          Regulators (TRAI) must look into this. I have been using mobile services in other countries like UK etc. Those operators like Lebara, O2, Lyka etc, no such practices their. They are doing marketing of their services but no snatching of money like this..!!!

                          I am surprised by your commitment to resolving this issue to my satisfaction. My Mobile Number is [protected] (Airtel Karnataka). This incident has happened yesterday morning at around 7.15 am (12th march 2010). You should be able to find out from your System whether I have downloaded any contents using 'Airtel Live' data account. Please note that I am already using your other data account on the same number (i.e. airtelgprs with Rs 98 for 2gb download for 30 days)

                          I have confirmed from the Help Desk about the wrong debit and they have communicated to me that only Rs 1.50 has been deducted. Actually Rs 16.50 has been deducted from my balance for 'No reason'.

                          However, I do not think you will be able to resolve this issue at any level. If at all you would like to resolve this to my satisfaction, it will be only be 're-creditting' Rs 16.50 to my prepaid balance.

                          Your comments are very true. Company of Airtel stature should not do like this. Even I get message from them sometimes, saying that ‘Internet connection for Rs 98/- with unlimited download’ and Contact for more details (with some number). When dialling this number, pre recorded message is heard saying ‘thanks for calling airtel voice mail’ and Rs 0.75 gets deducted from the balance.!! This I think is another day robbery!!

                            We have informed Airtel offices several times on their customer care phone line Date 11 March, 2010
                            We have informed Airtel offices several times on their customer care phone line and also sent a registered letter, dated 9th February, requesting that the services should be discontinued for our phone 4140 2396, installed at Sartia Vihar, New Delhi.

                            Reference number[protected] on 5th February 2010 and then again on 9th February – Reference number[protected] of our phone complaints.

                            We are surprised to receive the phone bill for one more month, generated in the first week of March, 2010.

                            We are requesting again the Airtel authorities at Bharti Airtel Limited 184 Okhala Industrial Area Phase-1 New Delhi - 110020 to immediately disconnect as we will not entertain any more bills for this connection.

                            We are unable to put down this request on your website email support system, hence using this forum.

                              Sir,I have been using an Airtel prepaid number from last two years,The problem is that I cannot connect to my home number which is a reliance number.The problem is happening from the starting date I changed my moblile but no use it is the same problem.Do you what ti says when i dial to the reliance no. It says "
                              The no. does not exist Please check your number and dial again".But if I try the same no. at the same instant from any other mobile connection, I do get connected.
                              I don't understand what is the problem with these mobile service providers, Might be disputes between them make all these.Please help me what should I do ?Is it all for what we buy a mobile SIM?When we do not get connected to any different SIM users what is the use of these many telecom companies there should be only one unique company.

                                I have recharged my airtel account with Rs.67 for activating SMS pack.But even after recharging successfully, airtel is cutting my balance for messages. Customer care says its a technical problem and will be resolved in 24 hours. After 24 hours they send message that problem is resolved. But it is not yet resolved and my balance is reducing for every local or national message.

                                I am an old customer of Airtel having this connection for more than 7 years.
                                Its a postpaid connection and I have subscribed to SMS pack-25 which gives 250 SMS (Local + National )in Rs. 25 every billing cycle .
                                This pack is active for more than 2 years now. My aim for having this SMS pack was to have a discounted SMS mainly in festive seasons on Holi, Deewali, New Year etc. Yesterday on 15/10/2009 I received a SMS from Airtel informing that all free/ discounted SMS will not be applicable on 16th/17th octuber. And it will be charged at normal rates.
                                I complaint to this because if a person is subscribed to a package, he is subscribing for a reason i.e discounted SMS. If the main objective of package is not fulfilled then whats the use of promoting these offers. It has been very cleaver motive of Airtel, who are befooling customers like me. If the pack is not used for the peak need then whats the use. Its a purely attempt to misguide the customers and a clear case of cheating and not compling by the rights of the customer. A monthly pack is applicable for the whole month and Airtel can not have it's discretion to offer it on the days they prefer. It should be brought to the court and Airtel should be sued for this. There are amny others who are having these packs. Please help. Its not a matter of money but principles.

                                AirTel — sms scheme

                                I am the retailer of Airtel. I have recharged of Rs. 102/- on [protected] (this is a sms scheme 15000 sms in 102/- val. 30 days) on 12.1.2010 at 6.58 pm, transaction Id :[protected] but after about 60 hrs. customer has not received benefits of the scheme, customer has complaint about the matter to me, i inquired in customer care, than told me scheme will activated within 24 hrs. that customer has complaint again. than... on 14.1.2010 I inquired to customer care. he told me scheme is activated. but that is not true, i inquired again that he told our executive called you within half & hrs. but today 15.1.2010, 10.45 i talk to mr. kamlakar (Customer care person) he told me you didn't recharge on this number, how is it possible, customer received sms & i am also received confirmation sms. now mr. Kamlakar told me again our executive called you within half & hrs. they did not roll back Rs. 102 otherwise give benefits of scheme.
                                I had applied for a internet broadband connection from airtel by giving security amount of rs 1000 for unlimited plan at sector 11 noida . Mr, prakash(Executive from airtel, [protected]) told me that connection will be in running condition after 2 or 3 days . after one day the lineman came from the company and wired the connection at this time only installation was pending . then after 5 days when noone come for the installation i called up Mr. Prakash for the same but his cell was switchoff for continous 2 days by hook or crook i met him and discussed abut the problem he said that area(sector 11 noida) is blacklisted and connection can't be installed here but the point is to be noticed that in this area(sector 11 noida) already 3 connection of this company are running . when an area is blacklisted how u can run so many connection i that area . that was very little issue the main fact of this issue was while Mr. prakash was taking security money for the connection he commited that he will prepare fake document for u which ere needed for the connection i asked Mr. prakash what can be done in this case he suggested me talk to his boss Mr.nishant sales manager of this area(sector 11 noida ). i called Mr, nishant and discuss about my problem Mr. nishant said that Mr. prakash if fresher he does not know about the area ur connection will be ok within 2 days . i asked me to call him after 2 hours for the confermation of the connection status . after 2 hours when i called Mr. nishant he said in that area(sector 11 noida) our cable is faulty therefore it will take some time after that day ... ithink

                                Airtel — reduction of balance and not activated call pack of 33

                                i made my complaint on 21 feb but my problem is not resolve till now,
                                after having a recharge of 33 rs isd call rate pack my call rate is not reduced. the customer care executive give me the time but they exceeds more then 48 hours and if i had to make to usa it charging me rs 6.40 instead of 1.99 after having a pack of 33rs for isd calls.
                                the airtel is not resolving my problem some action should be against themso much harrassment am suffering because of their lack of services.

                                I m not Satisfied with the Customer Care...So I disagree for their attitude towards Complaint..
                                Airtel could be crowned as "NETAJI"...jo sirf promises dena jante hain...pura karna nahi jante hain...
                                i als ohad the same issue and i contacted the customer for a hell lot of times.
                                Each time some rep attend the call and says, "your complaint has been registered and will be resolved in 48hrs".. this happened several times without any change. today i even got a msg from AZ-services, saying, the issue has been resolved. still that bloody SMS problem is there..
                                this is very poor a service and i need a refund and solution for this issue ASAP.
                                I had trust in airtel for the last four years. please dont loose it.

                                It's been a regular practice from Airtel. Whenever I've gone for a sms pack it has always harrassed me. It starts deducting amount from your balance & then you keep trying to lodge a complain in their never responding customer care. After calling 10 times somebody will recv. your call & will say hello hello sorry we cant recv your voice & disconnects the line. After 2-3 times you would be able to give them your complain. But this is such an irritating process that you think of better let the amount get deducted from my balance.
                                But my question is if they can't run such schemes then why do they start for? to harass customers? to waste there time?..
                                Now again they have started charging Re.1 for a single msg. In this way very soon Mr. Mittal will become World's most richest man.
                                If you can solve out my issue then I'll be highly thankful to you.

                                i had subscribed to 350 daily local and national and sms pack..all was going well till i subscribed to 98 internett pack..now all i see after sending sms is last call 1.00 inr .local sms =49 inr left...and sms are not counting in my daily count...please look up to the matter..

Called up the customer services (121) and thrice my call was disconnected. Finally got to speak someone and she kept on on never ending hold. Finally left hope and stopped calling. I am still being charged. It is not the matter of getting charged. But, the surprising things is that the customer service of the Airtel is awful. I am now thinking to changing my service provider as I am not at all happy with Airtel.

                                Airtel — DEDUCTING BALANCE FOR MSG EVEN AFTER HAVING MSG PACK AND ON

                                MY NO IS [protected], ON 27TH OR 28TH FEBRUARY I TOOK A MESSAGE PACK OF 35 RUPEES. THE VALIDITY FOR THIS IS 30 DAYS. ON 7TH MARCH I FOUND THAT SUDDENLY RS 1 IS GETTING DEDUCTED FROM MY ACCOUNT. I CALLED UP THE CUSTOMER CARE AND ONE EXECUTIVE TOLD ME THAT THE VALIDITY OF THE PACK IS STILL THERE. HE THEN TRANSFERRED THE CALL TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE WHO TOLD I HAVE NO SUCH PACK THOUGH ON 7TH MORNING THOUGH I HAD ZERO BALANCE I COULD SEND MESSAGES. AFTER TELLING HIM THE FACT HE ABRUPTLY DISCONNECTED THE CALL. BEWARE OF AIRTEL. THE WORST NETWORK PROVIDER.

                                On May 9, I have activated sms pack of Rs. 26 with 10 days validity. But, on May 12 my msgs have been charged althought they were not supposed to be. I have tried calling Airtel Customer care, but in vain. What should i do?

                                I recharged Rs.18 SMS pack in my mobile # [protected] on 13th March 2015 &amp;amp; got activated the next day. Hardly send 10 sms using this pack out of 1000 sms as per the pack value. This morning it&#039;s very unfortunate to see that Rs. 1/ was debited from my account towards a sms sent. This pack is valid for 28 days and with1000 sms. Wonder how it&#039;s charged for a sms sent while this pack still in existence? Kindly check my complaint and return back Rs. 1 in my mobile balance account and make me to utilize the sms pack as it mentioned by your company for the remaining days till the value period seize or quantity of sms is over.

                                  It was told that money would be returned from Airtel till 23rd Feb 2010 till 1330 hours.

                                  In my Airtel No [protected] there is a love subscription from airtel.I want to stop this service sms love subscription.

                                  I am geting charged from my prepaid Airtel account for unauthorized subscription of LoveGuruh service.

                                  i have a comlain against my mobile service provider namely Airtel.my no is [protected] and i m prepaid user.i recharged my account with 98 rs and activeted grs plan for one month,but i dont wana it continue.when its time limit crossed they dedect my blance of 46 ,i comlaind aginst it to airtel costomer extive they tlked me a rude way ,then called nodel officer but he told me it auto update plane i[censored] dont have sufficient ballence the plan change low lavel like 46(500mb)25(200mb),but i told iif did not subscribeand not told for activation than why u acctivated and refund my balenced but they refused to do so.my coplain no is[protected],[protected]. and also they oromissed to give download speed 2 to5kbps and surfing speed 40 to 48 kbp/s .but its downloading speed reach upto 1 kbp/s only and surfing speed upto 12kbp/s only, [protected]@gmail.com

                                  Airtel — Unauthorized subscription

                                  I am being continually subscribed for T2020 without being authorized by me. Every time I lose 5 rupees. By now I must have easily lost over a hundred. This is absolutely illegal and I am thinking about taking this to the court. What should I do?
                                  I have already contacted you on your email but you sent me back the same reply I would like an answer on this forum so that others may also be able to use it.
                                  How do you turn off T2020 subscriptions.

                                    I am a airtel customer for last 4 years with number +91 [protected] and from the first day it was a corporate connection.

                                    1. Submitted the bill plan change to New corporate plan on 16.11.2009.
                                    2. I got a response on 18.11.2009 that there is some outstanding against the account which needs to be cleared before bill plan change, to which i replied that yes there would be outstanding as the number is in use and under billing now, so would pay amount according to my billing cycle and I have never defaulted on payment.
                                    3. The delayed response for the reply in point 2 was replied on 30.11.2009 stating again the same reason of outstanding payment, to which i have again replied the same that i'll pay the amount as per my billing cycle(I have to extra amount as my billing cycle starts from 26th of every month).
                                    4. Now the airtel reply came at 13.12.2009, that my plan has been changed and would be effective from next billing cycle with apology for delay but no care taken for the amount of previous month i have to pay extra.
                                    5. In January i received the bill with the same old plan, so i wrote the airtel again where they start giving me unreasonable justification with no proper results:
                                    5.1 they told me that they called me on 13th that the request was rejected, they tried calling me etc etc and now they want some documents to be submitted. My question is why documents were required as the connection was corporate from day one and in case they were required why they didn't told me on replying to my first request. Upon that if the request was rejected on 13th dec and if they were not able to reach me why not put a mail or message???
                                    Now no body is solving or looking into same and i am helpless now.

                                    I get customer care call everyday and I tell each and every customer care agent the same reason, i am really sick of these calls and why dont airtel updates there customer care records.

                                    Hope some body reads this and act.

                                      I have bought an Airtel Micromax 200G data card on[protected] for Rs. 1999. I was promised that it will give me a speed of 256Kbps. The best speed that I am getting is 21 Kbps ( that too fluctuating constantly). I went to the shop (airtel outlet at Aditya Mall, indirapuram Ghaziabad) from where I purchased it to my dismay that shop owner was not at all ready to assist me and asked me to make a complaint to nodal officer.

                                      Please help me get either my money back or the service promised.

                                      Hi Sir,

                                      Myself Sandeep Kumar, I purchased a corporate connection 2 months back from one of your corporate Agent (Pramode Rana)

                                      Mobile No. [protected] and plan was 789 Advanced Rental.
                                      At the time of purchasing Agent told me that your STD call rate is 1:50 Rs but if you active a STD pack of 35 Rs per months then it will reduce to 1 Rs.

                                      When I call to your customer care they told me that you don’t require to activate any pack as your STD is already 1 Rs (because 789 Advanced rental internally is 699 Advanced rental plan) I had no option except to believe on your executive.

                                      But when my first bill came, I came to know that my STD charged at Rs 1:50 then I called to customer care and told them about that they accept that there is false promise from airtel so they will give me wave off and will activate my STD pack.

                                      Then I called to your customer care so many times about it but most of the time your executive were not able to answer my status because system is slow or something else.

                                      Then after 1 month when I called your Customer care they told me that they are not giving me any wave off and for STD pack activation I have to send a request on my Company Letterhead (Scanned copy) then only they will activate my STD pack.
                                      I told them that I have already submit all necessary document then what is the need of it and why you are not giving me wave off when it was not my mistake then your executive told me that (“Agar aapko activate karana hai to aise hi hoga otherwise jisse aap kara sakte ho kara lein.”).

                                      In all this communication I didn’t get any call back from you even though every time it was promised to me that you will get a call back regarding this.

                                      Now I didn’t submit my bill of this months and when I got a call regarding bill I told the guy that please first activate my pack and resolve my Wave off query. And I commit that whenever you resolve my query, I’ll pay my bill within an hour. They forward my query to Higher Authority and so but I didn’t get any call till now.

                                      Today I got a call ( And I am 100% sure that it is from your recovery Agent he told me that he is SIO and got complaint that somebody getting ‘Dhamki bhare” call from my number. And he want to meet me and so.)

                                      I just want to know that where I am wrong. I did whatever your agent told me to do then why I am suffering.

                                      Please Provide me reasonable wave off because your customer care executive not handling my case properly. I am struggling with him from last two months.

                                      I have taken airtel broadband connection through Mr Balaji and Mr Lenin from Airtel Broadband Nagercoil in the month of march.
                                      I was promised that I would be offered 499/- plan from April Month Onwards. But till now I am not offered. I am yet to get any proper response from the Airtel. I have mailed Nodal officer (Amirtharaj) also. But no proper response from his side also.
                                      Each and everytime I call I get a response stating that my complaint will get resolved in 24 hours or 72 hours but till now its not resolved.

                                      I have called more than 20 times atleast.

                                      airte company show that in their 3G plan speed of internet will be 7.2 mbs till plans end but i am not getting the speed i get speed in kbs
                                      4 years back Airtel offered me plan and while offering the plan they said Life time you will have the same tariff now they are going to change my tarrif. Please warn the airtel for this false promoise

                                        This is with ref to some vague activation of some text based services of which I am unaware of. This auto activation has been deducting money from my balance, sometimes at the rate of Rs10 a day, whilst I am not using my mobile for any such services.
                                        This is a request to please deactivate the subscription immediately and refund the amount wrongly or forcefully deducted from my account, failing which I would be forced to lodge a complaint in the consumer'd forum.

                                        Airtel is fleecing thousands o[censored]nsuspecting customers by activating the cricket scores at Rs 5 per day - this is how they can afford to live in such superluxury and sponsor fancy promostions. There should be a law against this. Please post as many messages as possible on all forums. And they use a call cener that has the gall to say that the charges for speaking to a represntative are R2 3 per minute, by default they offer a completely ridiculous Interactive Voice Reponse System
