I request for the Migration from Postpaid to Prepaid for my Airtel number [protected] on 26.10.2009. I have cleared billed and unbilled amount of Rs. 585.00 as advised by Airtel Relationship Centre on 04.11.2009 and submit the following documents at Airtel Relationship Centre E-23 Shop no. 5, 6, 7 & 8, Dilshad Colony, Delhi - 110095 on same day i.e. 04.11.2009.

1. Prepaid Enrollment form
2. Voter card for Address proof
3. ID card for Photo ID proof
4. 1 Passport size photo
5. Pan Card

But till date my no. not trasfer in to prepaid connection, Whether you assured me that Postpaid number will be transferred to Prepaid within 48 hours of receiving my documents.

On 23.11.2009 I have deposit billed and unbilled amount of Rs. 642.50 as advised by Airtel Representative on Phone.


I hope you will appreciate my request and do the needful at the earliest.

    I had raised a request # 26345794 on 11th of Nov 2009. My request is based on a assurance of the customer care representative. The customer care rep had assured me that he was raising the request in high priority and it will definitely get resolved by 18th of Nov.Today, it is 24th of nov,09 and till now my request is not resolved. I called up customer care multiple times, they said they have sent the mail to the zonal office and are waiting for the zonal office to approve my request. I'm surprised that , I am being harassed in this way after using airtel broadband, airtell connection for the last 5 years. I got the airtel nodal manager number, whose phone is constantly engaged. Please resolve my request, otherwise , I will be forced to move my broadband connection to another provider.

    Dear Sir,

    I have numerous times complained about the modem I am given almost 5 years back. The model number of this modem is 220bxi. Your service engineer has made several visits to my place but refuse to change the modem. Very often the data light disappear in the middle of internet surfing. Download speed at times is only 300 kbps and upload is lesser.

    How long do I have to put up with this? I am a very senior member of Vasant Kunj Senior Citizen Association and am responsible for their computer section and connection. I have also recommended many senior members to subscribe to Airtel. The kind of service I am getting at my residence connection is deplorable. On the advice of your service engineer, I had installed a fresh lancard. I am still getting this problem. If you do not replace my modem, I shall have to look to get a new connection from MTNL who is cheaper.

      I am using airtel prepaid no. since last year oct.
      In last month on 28 oct 09 I have recharge Rs.70 for lower the STD call rate in which All std no. other than Airtel cab be call at 0.60 paise and on Airtel it charges 0.50 paise.
      This month nov'09 I have recvd call from Airtel customer care that recharge with Rs43 for lifetime validity and on 21st nov 09 I have made recharge of same but at same time they Stop my last months facility that is Rs.70 of lower std call rates. Then on 23rd nov 09 I call customer care and ask for same .He reply me that i[censored] change plan then existing plan will be stop but I told him that u must tell me at the time of giving call for rs43 plan u were hide this thing from me and I had lost my plan.
      so this services r made in such manner that i[censored] have to increase validity u have bare a LOSS.
      But they should think I m increasing my validity that means I want ur services for further period that I want to remain ur customer but They do not bother about existing customers.They simply repling sorry we cant help u in this matter.This things r not good as per my view.
      Airtel msg on 2.11.10 (AK-Airtel at 12-47 PM) to my mobile says "YOUR BEST RECHARGE IS RS.150. Recharge with Rs.150 and GET FULL TALKTIME of Rs.150."
      Please note that on recharging Rs.150, existing balance did not change and ERecharge msg shows "Talktime Rs.0.15. MRP Rs.150. TransID[protected]."

      On balance enquiry it shows "VOICE Rs.150.00.
      I am compelled to say that your message is totally misleading and simply meant for cheating customers. I recharged with Rs.150 for getting full talktime to be added to the main account (existing balance) otherwise I would not have recharged.
      I talked to customer care last night but it did not serve my purpose.

      Please transfer Rs.150.00 to the main account balance.

        Hi,

        Thanks for your wonderful service, and now I would like to cancel my airtel land line and broadband [protected] . Here are the reasons

        a) Airtel was unable to shift my line to the new address I have requested. When I bought the line they told me that I can able to shift the line in two or three days after I get the connectivity, But still now there are no resolution

        b) I am a bsnl user, when I bought the airtel they said there is an offer that you can get double the speed if you are switching from bsnl, Later on I realize that the offer is only for 6 months then after that I will be getting the 256kbps plan speed. This is totally un fair because the agency people didn't tell me the information

        c) I am sick and tired of calling customer care services, here is the story from last Friday (times are approximate)

        Nov 20th 2009, Friday @ 8:00 AM
        "Hello My name is Jeyanthi, How may I assist you ? "

        Hi I am Navas, I would like to shift my line to the new address. She verified all the details and she told me that

        "Oh, I am sorry sir, the system was down right now, The request will be placed in one hour, "

        Nov 20th 2009, Friday @ 11:00 AM

        "Hello My name is XXXXXX, How may I assist you ? "

        Hi I am Navas, I would like to shift my line to the new address, I have placed a request can you please very it?

        "Sorry sir, we don't have any request, would you like to give a request now ?"

        Yes

        She verified all the info and said

        "Sorry sir, your profile have not updated yet, Please send a mail to care.[protected]@airtel.in"

        Then I sent an email to the address and the email came back to me saying that

        "Number is incorrect, we couldn't Identify your account in the system"

        Nov 20th 2009, Friday @ 3:00 PM

        "Hello My name is Bindu, How may I assist you ? " (She is a supervisor)

        I explained my hole problem. She created me a ticket number (I don't remember the number) and finally said

        "Ok sir, I understand your problem, for some reason since you have a new account we couldn't identify your profile, so I request you to go to the near by Airtel service center and give a shifting request manually and your ticket will be resolved before saturday 5:30 PM or before we made the ticket as high priority"

        and then I went to the Anna Nagar center and tried for a shifting then, I got the final answer saying

        "It will take one month to create your profile, so please try after one month and they also said we can not help you directly, get the agency help"

        And when I tried the agency help, they said they will get back to me and they never showed up and the airtel high priority ticket also which was supposed to be resolved on Saturday 5:30 PM

        d) For some reason my modem got reset and when I tried the customer care, they couldn't even tell me my correct password is.

        So I am frustrated enough with my Wonderfull high speed useless Airtel connection and I request for the cancellation and refund my install cost Rs 500. If it was not happened in a week then I will sure go to my lawyer and consumer court

        I am very happy with BSNL service, they took care of the shifting problem in a couple of hours on Firday itself.

        WEEKEND & night 11pm-7am

        Now they r shifting all the campus plans to

        Mcampus community numbers @ 10p/min
        & only airtel no @ 50p/min
        @ daily rental of 1Rs
        on
        WEEKEND & night 11pm-7am

        without any consideration of customers

        plz help me & all other customers

          cell no. [protected]belongs to me . for last two months i am getting messages of spicy jokes and funny jokes which is not relevant to me. it disturbs me as well as it creats nusence to me.
          i tried to contact Airtel 121 to unsubscribe this service after great difficulty able to connect . then i hv told to unsubscribe by sending message . but it failed. and wasted my time and money.
          I am really getting frustrated with this type of service. also it also deducts my charges.

          I hope with this complaint i will get some results in my favour. If not then will have no option but to go for drastic action against airtel.

          airtel simcard service subcribe of jokes was does not unscribe of many times ., many times complaint about them but did not response

          before 10 days the co. deducted 10 Rs. from my account for hello tune activation. the hight is that i did not activated any song as my hello-tune.so i called in customer care to tell them about this. the gue replied that it happened wrongly we will credit your account and he did the same within 10/15 minutes.

          now again after that co. deducted Rs.30 from my account as renewation charges for the hello tune i actvated.so i callled in customer care executive and had a talk with mr.ganesh on this issue.
          he is saying that he will not credit my account as i have activated that hello tune & cut my call.

          after that he blocked my number so that i m not able to contact any other customer care executive.

          can anybody help me in this regard?

          Iam air tel costomer for the last 1 year. My mobile no is [protected].My air tel telephone connection is working fine.Even the broadband connection is without any problems for the last 1 year..Congrats Air tel for your service.

            i have recieved a sms "congratulations!your mobile no has won you $1 million USD.to claim E-mail:your full name/mobile no, to [protected]@live.com"
            Brother,

            I am guessing they are also asking your bank details also. If they are asking then i suggest you to please not to give them any details. Its fake. They are just online criminals looking to cheat innocent people. Dont fall for prey.

            Even if they didnt ask sdetails of your bank or such they will certainly ask later. If you want you try to do what they are saying but the moment they ask you your personal details like bank details, photocopies of documents etc stop contacting them.

              Airtel DTH — Airtel DTH's pathetic after sales service

              I bought two airtel dth, believing that Airtel will provide competitive service as they provide in telecom sector.
              I couldn’t be more wrong. It seems they don’t care about customers after selling their product. They’re the last ones to add new channels. Also when my STB stopped working, they took 7 days to get me a new one.
              They took Rs 100 as visiting charge and deducted Rs 400 from my dth account as new STB charges, and to my horror the STB they provided has stopped working too. I complained again, but they closed my ticket again. I have lost my will and energy to complain again. I am planning for Videocon D2H, they give all the channels in their bouquet at Rs 290, way cheaper than Airtel and TATA Sky. Also they’re providing the package free for 4 months.
              Airtel sucks, they’ll lose customers as they have started taking us for granted.

              Airtel DTH — Pathetic after sales service

              I would advise everyone not to go for Airtel DTH. They have got the worst after sales service. My customer ID is [protected]. I had book a connection on 1st April'11. For collection the money, these guys came within 2 hours of my request, but post the collection of money, no action has been taken. I have lost the count of the number of calls that I have made the customer care, but no respite.

              I had asked these guys to give me a time when they'll come for the installation. I took a leave, but no one every bothered calling on that day. I made numerious calls to their customer care but to no good effect. Finally I got the number of their supervisor. She told me that it could not be done on that day and would be done the next day. I took another leave, but till date, no one has cared to even call me, forget the installation.

              These guys have no respect for someone eles's time. I have already taken two vacation for getting the DTH installed but the worst part is, that it has not been installed yet.

              I am amazed to see such pathetic service from Airtel, where as the only reason I went for Airtel was their service.

              Again, think twice before getting their connection. I have already started the process to get the refund. I would rather go for some other service provider than Airtel.

              DTH — Pathetic after sales services

              Hi ,

              I lodged a complaint , Complaint number 8461629 on 28th May-11 and was given resolution time of 1:57 pm on 29th May-11 .

              - I received a message also for the same where a phone number was given . When I spoke to that guy he said my area is not under him so he will not come here to rectify the issue .



              - I called many times at customer care and but they were saying this will be resolved by same person whose number is mentioned in the messsage .




              - After that I spoke to a lady with the name Angelina who assuared me that the issue will be resolved today at any cost and I will get a call in 15 min to confirm the address , No body called me . I called customer care and got to know that nothing is going on at back end .



              - I called at customer care where a guy with name 'Rahul' picked up the call who put us on hold and disconnected the call after some time .



              - Worst of all , I received a message at 5:10 pm , That the issue has been resolved . Whereas no body has visited us and issue is NOT resolved yet . There was number in the message that I can speak to this person in case issue is not resolved . I called him and got a reply that " How many times I have to explain you that this is not my area " (Name of the person is PRADEEP - Phone number [protected]).

              i completely agree that AIRTEL service is worst in the busines, that is coz there are some irresponsible Airtel DTH officers who are not ready to take the ownership.

                500/500 talk time, not working as sent in TEXT msg...

                I am not sure, who is reading this, but this is one of the silly or rather poor experience I came across while using AIRTEL. I got an SMS with full talk time on 500 rs recharge. I did recharge myself on line and it did not give me full money (as expected). I got balance of 453/- something. Now I called upon one of your customer care (121 - aap ki kahi bhi kabhi bhi kam nahin karne vali service),after 1 hour of attempt, when I got hold of Reshma, she told me, its not for on line recharge, I said, the SMS did not say either its not for on line or off line, she says, normal customers do not know about on line / PC recharge so we cant help.

                Now, I don't care about my 50 bucks, as you guys can add a couple of figures in Ur foolish balance sheet, but this is not proper answer. At least you guys either should send in TEXT that "not for on line" OR something, "we may fool you if did on line" OR you guys should credit me my 50 bucks back.

                I am leaving it up to you smarties!

                  Got a postpaid connection on last week of August (Just 3 months back). Suddenly on Nov 17th my cell phone got switched off and i found out that there is something wrong with my SIM card only. It was not working in any other mobile and some other SIM card worked very well in my phone. Hence went to an Airtel outlet in Electronics city. They asked me to pay Rs.50 for the SIM replacement, however I was not sure why should I pay, since the SIM is only faulty, which was their product. Left with no other option but to buy for Rs.50. I have been told that activating will take 2 hours. However till now the same is not activated eventhough it crossed 3 whole days. Called Airtel customer care for 5 times, but in vain. Had a function on 22nd Nov. Have missed so many important calls.

                    My airtel subscirber prepaid mobile number is.[protected]. I have not subscribed for any jokes. I am often distrubed by your SMS jokes for which I am being charged also @ Rs.1/- every time. I can send you as many jokes as you want by book loads for free. So I request you to avoid this pestering.

                      I Mr. K.V Subbarao Holding a Airtel Pre paid connection from 2003 November. 2 years back I have shifted to SUNDER NAGAR near ESI Hyderabad. From 2007 onwards I am unable to get Airtel signal s to my apartment. This was informed to Airtel customer complaints n no times. But they didn’t take any action on this .When I try to log a complaint they are not taking the complaint also.DONT BELIVE AIRTEL SIGNAL in HYDERABAD.

                      AirTel — unable to access sim

                      I have mobile FXD 3600 model . i have a valid aitel prepaid sim([protected]) I unable to open/access sim in my mobile it shows invalid sim . but remaining all networks its working .

                      airtel network — signal seems to be full but voice is not is audible.

                      i am facing this problem last 2 weeks i called the airtel person but no responded to it?

                      airtel network — unable to access airtel sim in sony handset

                      while using this any Airtel sim in Sony ericson model W910i getting error is getting "unable to access the Network".and i am unable to make and receive the call. when i m opening setting for network selection, in select network getting as 3gairtel network automatically instead of airtel. kindly help me to get it rectify,

                        My self Syed Faraz H. Zaidi Using Airtel Post Paid connection Mob. No. [protected] from 03/10/09. Before this date this No. was prepaid and that time this No. convert in to postpaid my prepaid account balance was around Rs 300, and at that time you did say to me that Rs 300 will be reduce from my post paid bill, I have get two bill and also have complain for that but this money not reduce in any bill.
                        So plz tell me how much time will you take for that problem

                            hello,
                            I KAMAVARAPU RAVIKANT of bilaspur chhattisgarh has paid an amount of Rs 3030 for the broadband connection.I have taken a half yearly plan.After the payment the airtel Officers does not analyse the location that whether feasibility is available or not they transfered my amount to bhopal office.Why should i wait for my money without any connection provided to me by airtel.Now they are saying that amount will be refunded in 15 to 20 days.Already 10 days are over after the payment.So i kindly request you to refund my amount as early as possible.

                              My name Nijroop Tripathi i submit complain before one week ago but problem is still now .no one care my problem. so many reminder & complain after that my sim was active now.i received welcome letter send by airtel company on my local address on 20-11-09 . on 21-11-09 i received a SMS thru AD-Service," Kindly note we are unable to veify your billing address. to enjoy continued services on your mobile.contact the dealer form where you have taken the connection." then i meet local counter where i purchase a sim card.those person says i have no right to solve your problem kindly contuct airtel authorised dealer in Gurgaon.
                              Then i contact thru phone local dealer regarding my outgoing call stop.he says i check & revert you but still now problem are same no one contact me personly & thru phone.after that i call airtel customer service #121 talk to care person after long verification process he says your form & relevant documents not received that why your number has outgoing call services stop.
                              Kindly confirm how can possible with out submit all my relevant document my sim was start,i have complete all relevent formalties two times & complet all verification process & already received welcome letter by Airtel. by problem is still now.my previous mail already attach with this mail

                                  Since more than a month I am facing a problem of delivery of SMSes. Please note the following
                                  it says me
                                  "Message Sent".
                                  "Amount" is deducted

                                  But no delivery report and sms shows pending. Resending too is of no use.

                                  I have tried changing message sending profile settings but this too is of no use.

                                  I hope you will understand the problem and will try to rectify it immedietly .

                                  Another problem is of CCE , these days i do not get to reach to CC exec to talk. Please look into this matter too.

                                        the problem is really genuine.i spend 600 per month for the plan and do not get even a downloading speed of 4-5 kbps.these people are only polite before the customers have purchased the pdt. after that you can easily feel how they want to run out of the problem.i suggest my online friends never to go for airtel 3G. Friends i have really tested it only then i am commenting.these people sell these pdts. even without testing themselves.so theyknow nothing about the speed or they really know that its slow.

                                        I have purchased airtel usb modem MMX300G on 4th jan, 2010 from MUZAFFARPUR BIHAR .I have been told that the modem will work anywhere in India and there is no roaming changes also.I was using the device (internet connection plan -498Rs (ie. unlimited plan in MUZAFFARPUR currently).However, I have recently shifted to Newdelhi and the device is not getting connected at all in my laptop .However the airter connection 9ie .indicated by the green strip in the software while connecting is showing).
