I activated the new airtel gprs scheme by dialling *567# the scheme was a Rs.89 scheme which gives 100mb usage and 2gb during night it has a validity of 1 month.I activated it on 28 nov 09,and rs.89 was deducted from my account and it worked properly but at 12am i got a msg from airtel saying the validity was over,but I was supposed to have a validity of 1 month.I cant contact customer support.when i dial 5 for gprs assistance it says.thx for calling.

customer care service,
i had one airtel sim thats allready showing sim regisration failed.but its still has validity.i dont know why its showing like this.now iam been in dubai.i didnt use my sim 1 years ago.but validity till 2011.kindly reactivate my sim, , , , , pls...my number is[protected].i am going to my own contry..
contact customer care... dial the number go for billing section and contact there.
internally they are same
I had recharged wid 89 rs gprs & it was nt working for 2 days dn i activated a 3rs plan dn i got bt i used it at nite which says 2gb bt only got 250mb whn i cl customer service it says thanx for calin plz airtel look into the mater my no. Is [protected] thanx

Airtel Prepaid — Problem in GPRS night plan

I have activated gprs night plan.where as per plan i should get 100mb data in day(8.01am-12pm) and 2gb data in remaining time ie night but even if i use gprs in night time as per plan the data amount used deducts from day time balance only.I called customer care several times but they are not ready to help in any way . custemer executive says it deduct from night data usage only and not ready to listen anything.
This problem is with everyone using this plan. This is a fishy plan by Airtel to cheat peoples.

Airtel — PROBLEM IN USING THE RC89 GPRS SERVICE

My issue is as follow:
On 7th Dec 2009 I received the SMS from AZ-Promo the SMS was "GPRS on RC89. Recharge to enjoy 100 MB 30 days (between 8am-11.59pm) and 2GB 30 days (12midnight-8am). After free usage download charges on gprs [protected]@30p 50KB".

On 9th Dec 2009 I recharged with the voucher 89 to availing the GPRS service and started using it. For this I got the 102 Rs INR for 100 MB usage in between ( 8am-11.59pm).

Complain: When I use the GPRS before 8 am and after 12 midnight then the amount is detected from the 100MB day usage balance. When i tried to contact customer care then i am not able.

that means we are not getting the 2 GB free for night use. it is absolutely fraud with the Customers.
My issue is as follow:

I have been using Airtel mobile [protected] ( Prepaid) for the past 8years. 3 months back I received an sms regarding GPRS offer stating that on easy recharge with Rs.98 I can get 100mb free per month. I recharged with Rs98 and started using GPRS. Later on another offer introduced stating that 100mb per month free between 8.00 am to 11.55pm and 2gb free between 12.00am to 8.00am. I recharged with Rs 98 and two separate accounts were provided for checking the data usage. That is *123*10# for checking the day time browsing within 100mb and *125*4# for checking the Night time in 2gb free browsing. I made several clarifications from your customer care office executives with regard to this and I was made to understand that the above offer is not having any terms and conditions. And the data reduction will be on the respective individual accounts based on the time of browsing.

While this is so I found that for the browsing done by me between 12am to 8am, data usage was also reduced from the day time account namely 100mb free account also apart from the data amount shown in the 2gb free night account. Some times it was correctly deducted from the 2gb data account but several times it was also deducted from the 100mb main account.

I made several complaints to your customer care executives starting from 19.11.2009 onwards and none of them had given any solution to my grievance. Infact, nearly 180mb was deducted from my 100mb free account which I recharged regularly every month. One of your customer care executives admitted that there was some system fault and they have received number of similar complaints form other customers also and once it was rectified from the wrong data deducted from 100mb will be reduced and asked me to wait for 3days to 5 days time.,

I waited patiently for 4 to 5 days. Thereafter your customer care executives when contacted stated that there is no fault on their side and they can’t help me fro restoring the wrong deducted data to my account. I was little surprised with the response and asked them to find out the solution and rectify the issue.

When the said problem was not yet solved another problem arrived in front of me. On 6.12.2009, about Rs.250 was deducted from my account and my balance was reduced from Rs.250 and add to Rs.0.08/ I immediately called your customer care executive and they promised me to solve the problem. From 8.12.2009 onwards I have been waiting for my problem to be solved. Till date no solution. In fact on last Sunday, your customer care people called and informed me that their system not yet updated and requested me to wait for another 3 days time. Again I contacted on Friday I was asked to wait till 21.12.2009.

From 06.12.2009 I have not recharged my mobile and hence I was not able make any out going call expecting further confusion from your side suppose If I recharge. I am totally disappointed with your attitude in solving the customer’s problem. So I request you to take immediate action in this issue and restore my GPRS data which was wrongly deducted and the amount of Rs.250/ which was deducted without having any reason.

I have complete screen shots taken from my N73 mobile to show how the data was wrongly deducted from my main account of 100mb instead of 2gb free account for the browsing between 12am to 8 am. If necessary I will send it. I think hope your understand the issue and problem in detai8eld manner and any further clarification not required,

So, I request you to take immediate action in this matter.

We at airtel have a policy of not refunding any money because if we do so we will be flooded with similar requests from other customers too. I hope that you will understand our position.

Hello I have exactly same problem on MO 95 plan. Whlile using the service in night Morning balance was deducted . Next night whole 100 mb went at 4.30a.m.Then I was further robbed by you as Rs140 were deducted from normal balance.
You know, what actually is more amature on your part:
1. You blocked 121 on my no. Jurst after this issue(its still blocked) I had to find other way to contact them. When I did they told me i should recharge again with Rs95
2. Called nodal officer 3 times. Every time told, I will get call in 6hrs never got it. I have written them many emails nd never gt any response in 24 hrs. After 10 days they responded with that they will refund back Rs 95 but never did.

Dear Mr. Abhijeet Kumar Gupta. How can you say ilke that. then what for customer care is being there. That means you are admitting your mistakes but not giving back the amount to the customer means I dont understand your so called policy. If we 5the customers never asked you to give us any offer. For the sack of promoting your business you are offering. But when you are committing mistakes, you have to rectify it at any cost. you hand abandon the customer by washing your hands. If you are expecting complaints to be flooded in that is not our mistakes form the customers. That is your fault in providing bad service. Hope you understand.

guys, , if they dont have the solution change the card.. idea n vodafone have the best services..they dont rob the customers of money.. i really had the bad experiences with the airtel.. they should b ranked no 1 in customer dissatisfying..i m serios..they dont provied solutions, but EXCUSES.
hi im in nashik for ditelas 89/Rs gprs plan,
my complain is that i made a call to kolkatta to at 12:30 an had a talk for 26 mins and my balance reduce by 43 rupees where as generally my balance should reduce by on 50 paise per min... but always my balance is reduce or cut by 50 paisse per min only so y this?????//

    I request for my setup box and relative equpiment for shift for my another quarter which is recently allote for me, my request was accepted and charged 300Rs. from my account. after 12 hour engineear come at my home at open the connection and tell me that he come after 1 hour for reinstallation on my new address. But after 36 hour no one come here. In this regard i call to customer care and he only give me request no. i.e. 1548126, 1546416 but they not solve my problem, only give me time but no one come at my house. I think it is a worst custmore care and same its services. Difinitely now i want to take TATA SKY or other services, at least they not cheat people. And i also request to all my groups do not belive in this company

      Dear friends I too had the bad experience on Airtel Digital TV dish I too did not wish to have digital tv but it came as free offer from e-bay as diwali gift, One fine day i got a call saying we need to genarate the Customer ID to offer you the free gift they took all the infomation and even after 15 days nor i have received nothing if we call customer support they say to place the request through e-mail and after 48 hours i have not received i am hanging with the ID given by them i.e [protected] which is a waste.

        Airtel — Deactivation of unwanted sms

        My mother who is 72 years old has a prepaid airtel mobile. Without her knowldge she pressed something and she has been receiveing news,cricket scores and many more sms each at a cost of Rs 5. Unfortunately she has been travelling in india and paying heavy price for this. Contacted the customer services with great difficulty managed to speak to a person who could help her to deactivate the same what was SHOKING is she told me it would take 45 days to deactivate. A lady who lives alone on her pension cannot afford this kind of expence. It has become a punishment for her to own a mobile which was for a purpose as she is living on her own and not for luxury. TOTALLY UNHAPPY WITH YOUR 121 SERVICES which goes on and on rather giving an option to talk to the customer care a real waste of time.

            Continued telemarketing calls and messages despite NDND regn

            I had registered for NDND(National Do Not Disturb) on 27th Sept 09. Regn No. A[protected]. Even after clear 45 days, I am being harassed by unwanted hello tune marketing calls from [protected],[protected] everyday. I have followed up with floor managers Mr. Sunil and Ms Rashmi. of Airtel. I am promised of remedy within 8hrs, 4hrs etc of my protest but to no avail. I have recorded all the request nos. What is to be done to make the service provider...

            Dear Sir,
            I have been worked in my previos company and taken full and final settlement dt on 10.11.09.I got socked news dt 22.11.09 from company Airtel invoice amount mobile no [protected] is 1.3 lakhs.
            The owner of company called me and told you have to pay this invoice amount.
            I have told it is not my uses of blakberry .net ,don't have this much money also with me.Than written mail to noodal officer but till now i have not recived any reply or call.
            I don't no why airtel not blocked this no,not send any messages,mails to company of over usges ,because it is company paid nomber.
            So please help me to close this problem because i don't have money also to pay.

              I RAJESH LAHOTI HAD ISSUED TWO POSTPAID CONNECTIONS OF AIRTEL UNDER MEDICAL SCHEME.MY FRIEND WORKING WITH AIRTEL AS AN EMPLOYEE DEMANDED TO USE THE NUMBER DUE TO ITS VARIOUS ADVANTAGES. HE UTILISED THOSE SIM FOR HIS OWN AND HIS FRIEND. WHEN I CAME TO KNOW HE HAD MISUSED MY SIM I PAID THE BALANCE AND ISSUED NEW SIMEX FROM AIRTEL RELATIONSHIP CENTRE SATARA{ARC}AGAINST SAME NUMBERS. THERE MISS RESHMA WHO IS A GOOD EMPLOYEE OF ARC SATARA ISSUED ME NEW SIM OF THESE TWO NUMBERS.1. [protected].2.[protected].. BUT TILL TODAY THOSE SIMS REMAIN SEALED WITH ME. I.E. ON 11TH SEPT I PAID ALL BALANCE AND NEW SIM OF ABOVE NU,BERS WERE ISSUED TO ME. BUT SINCE LAST FEW DAYS AIRTEL PERSONS ARE COMING TO MY DOOR FOR PAYMENT OF NEARLY RS. 4000 AND ABOVE. HOW IS SO MUCH BILL GENERATED IF THE SIM IS NOT IN USE. ON INQUIRY TO THE OTHER OFFCIALS OF AIRTEL I CAME TO KNOW THAT THE SIM GIVEN TO ME WAS NOT REGISTERED ON THE SPECIFIC NUMBER. THIS BACKGROUND SHOWS THAT MISS RESHMA DID NOT PROPERLY REGISTER MY SIMEX ON SPECIFIC NUMBER. NOW AIRTEL OFFICIALS ARE BEHIND ME FOR BILLS. BUT I CAN SHOW ALL THE OFFICIALS THAT SIMEX PACK IS TOTALLY SEALED AS GIVEN TO ME BY AIRTEL. THEN HOW IS THE BILL GENERATED WITHOUT USE OF NUMBER. ?.                     After all my afforts to stop the Promo. SMS on my phone, From Airtel side it has deactivated the services of my mobile No. [protected].It was a trouble of Billing also, has a GPRS Extra charges.

                    Airtel Mobile — Promotional SMS

                    My no [protected] is registered on Airtel DND vide reg. no S[protected] on 04/07/09, then also iam getting promotional sms like AIRTEL DUSHERA DHAMAKA. Till now i have got 12 such sms within 5 days. I have even called there Customer care no 5 times and getting the same reply every time that you will not recieve these sms again, but all in vein.

                    I want the company to take immidiate action
                    I developed a reflex in recent months when I use my Airtel postpaid connection, if any sms comes I'm sure it is someone who's asking me to buy a flat in cheap rate near NCR, or astology or personal loan etc. etc. If I see a call is coming from a unknown number and on the other side a female voice I become sure of some loan/credit card request and before she could finish I thank and disconnect her.

                    I tried Airtel's so called 45 day DND/govt. rule blah.. blah... but nothing worked at all but my reflexes are doing great :-)

                      respected sir, i 'm a neurosurgeon and working in a medical college. i have three airtel connection by my name from last five years. i'm depositing my bill regularly. fromm last few monts,my monthly post pauid bill was high as per my expections. i inquired from airtel exchange,yhey said " i have changed my plan that i want to pay for all messages that were free of cot to me for last five years."" after this rubbish explanations, i ytried to convert my post pain connnection to prepaid connection as my number of patients would be suffered otherwise. but your Cheema Chowk branch ,Ludhiana has harased me alot again. their mismanagement ,poor hospitality, ignoranat behaviour has given me a bad experience.kindly take a strict action against this branch so that you donot lose a number of customers

                        Air tel Network — Range problame

                        My full address is 106/3 Bhai Bandarkar Machimar Vasahat, Capt. P.P.Marg, Badhwar Park, Colaba, Cuffe-pared, Mumbai - 400005. I am stay at sea face area. I am using Airtel sim from August - 2006. Very poor Network in my house. For the talking come out from my house every time. But other network is full in my House. And the same problem is my other freinds. So please solve the problem.

                        I'm unable to make any outgoiung calls since last 4 days. I'm getting SMS that 90% of services are restored though.

I don't want any message strictly from 5432101 regarding fashion tips ,spicy jokes or any thing else. I am trying to stop this service from many days I spoke to many customer executives on Air tel but no one helped me out to unsubscribe this service. Daily 1Rs. is deducted from my account please help me out to stop this service as soon as possible and get all my balance back.It is very very sad that air tel (Which is considered to be one of the best mobile service provider in India ) is gaining profits in such a pathetic way by tricking their valuable customers ..

                            This is in the regard of converting running Airtel connection (i.e.[protected] into CUG connection with the plan of RS. 499/-. We have already taken four CUG connections with the name of Genius Publications. The numbers are [protected], [protected], [protected] and [protected]. We have already made a complaint regarding this many times. I have requested for this on 20th July’09 but we did not get any response from AIRTEL side. This number is still chargeable when we are making call from CUG numbers.
                            Mr. Trilok from which we have taken this CUG connection is not giving any response from the last 5 months. He is working in INDIRA BAZAR Airtel Shoppe. Now we would not pay any amount if again it would be chargeable.

                            Now please have a look over this matter ASAP.

                            Airtel — no response for cug connection from airtel

                            i contacted outlet for cug connection from airtel,they are taken my contact no and 2nd day i got a call but i was in a doctor chamber i was not recieved the cal after that nobody was contacted me,but while working i was contacted another outlet in manglore ,i got a reply u should give all the documents to the outlet we r not going to collect it from your office that is not our job.
                            it means their is no representatives from airtel.

                            Airtel — Convert into CUG

                            I want to convert my Airtel number into CUG plan of the company. But an executive of the company informed me that currently they are not converting into CUG plan for an uncertain period, because an employee is not available. whereas the company offers CUG plan. please resolve the matter.

                                I have taken two prepaid mobile nos from Ijaz Ahmad saying that he is an airtel executive from Malad Branch on 22.11.2009 and still on date no card is active. His mobile no. is [protected]. He is from Appco Marketing , 304 Rajasthan Bldg, Patanwala Compound, LBS Ghatkopar(W). He has cheated me charging Rs. 599/card and now he is not picking up my call as he is not an Authorised Airtel Executine along with sealed Bharti Airtel ID Card.

                                  Hi,

                                  I'm Abdul Rahman Mohammad, Airtel mobile post paid customer since 1.8 Yrs.
                                  I'm the victim of Airtel Fraud and lost almost everything except life.

                                  This is because,
                                  Aitel is not at all bother about the customer security.
                                  Customer data and his calling information can very very easily shared to any body at any time by the airtel staff for the sake of some bribe.

                                  The most IMP thing:

                                  AIRTEL STAFF CAN SHARE CUSTOMER INFO TO ANY BODY AND THERE IS NO TRACE MECHANISM AT AIRTEL TO FIND WHO SHARED CUSTOMER INFO THE UN-AUTHORIZED PERSON.

                                  My Case:
                                  My Contact details and My billing Address and My Calling Numbers and Call timings ...etc all together with Itemized bill information is shared to other person without my knowledge.

                                  I always receive my monthly itemized bill though mail and I got same for the month July.
                                  But Another (original bill) copy of the same bill is issued to other person without my knowledge.

                                  It is not like he stolen my login and password. As I didn't shared with any body.
                                  The other person knows only my number and got my itemized bill printout in his hand.
                                  I shocked....!!! .
                                  I Called Airtel customer care 121, found an irresponsible answer.
                                  The answer is, we don't know how the information shared, may be you shared the password and other than this it is not possible.
                                  How can I make them understand that I didn't shared the password as I too didn't remember or keep it, I will get new password every time I login and delete the password sms.
                                  He also told strongly that there is no way to trace who login to which number from their staff.

                                  The other person proudly boasting and shouting he have such links with airtel that he can grab any body's information at any time if he is an Airtel customer.

                                  What a great challenge towards poor Airtel security......!!!!!

                                  The only chance is he (the other person) moves very very close with Airtel staff. Im confident that the Airtel staff missused their logins.They got my information through their logins as they authorized and shared it to the other person.

                                  Bad luck is Airtel does not have any tracing mechanism to their staff logins. So They can very easily share any information to any body.

                                    My friend is using airtel post paid connection for quite long period and he was satisfied with the service but last few months he face issue with the service.His no.([protected]).Whenever someone call him, it is always found out of range or not reachable or directly disconnected .He raised so many complaints regarding the same by calling custumer care executive .But it was not actioned yet.The purpose of having mobile is to reach the person in urgency.But because of this network issue, if he is nearer to the person who is calling him, the caller would get only not reachable voice message.Please action on this as soon as possible

                                      My customer ID is[protected], I am really astonish regarding the unprofessional service from Airtel Digital TV, my set top box was dead on 21st November 2009 and I raised a complaint in customer care on 21st November 2009 and my complaint no’s is 1524255,1514820 till today no one has turned up to my house to check what has happened exactly and while calling and calling again and again I am getting non sense answers from customer care that set top box adapter are not in stock, when you all are starting such business firstly you have to take care of customer service and complaints or otherwise stop this business refund customer money so that customer could go to some other excellent and branded (TATA sky, Dish TV etc..) service provider and enjoy whatever he has spend, you all are not suppose to spend our hardened money in advertisement to make false business you can pay lot of money to film stars for your advertisement and you don’t have device to keep in stock , I am really pissed off due to such ill-mannered service and dirty management.
