I am using Airtel post-paid connection since last 4 years and there had been always an issue with the network and now they have crossed their limits.

As my working areas are in city limits and their entire network do not work in high profile areas like Sharanpur Road, College Road, Gangapur Road, Panchwati and many more.

Where should we go and take this problem and how can be shorted out.

This is a gentle request to Mr.Sunil Mittal to look into the matter as early as possible.

    Dear Sir,
    Today i got a message 5432161 saying that i had been subscribed for Friendz chat and will be charged Rs.10/-
    But i had not actually subscribed to it.
    I Had immediately called to the costumer care and a girl who answered the call named Aruna Kauluru (got it from feedback sms) said dat i had activated the same through airtel live ..
    And the fact is that the last time i had successfully connected to airtel live is on 22/11 and that too used for browsing google maps and i had not even entered the airtel live portal.
    However i had tried to connect to it yesterday i.e on 3/12 the connection dint established so no chance of activating the same.(0kb received byts of data and sent is 4kb)
    Ur customer care executive was not in a position to her me coolly and is talking very exited, i wonder what made her so, I think the job of costumer care executive is to here the costumer first..Am i wrong ???
    She said in a way that i had purposefully activated the service and trying to get the balance back so they are not going to refund the balance and is in no position to understand my version.what she had done is deactivating the service only after deducting the balance.
    See the balance is mere Rs.10/- dats not a real problem if you cant give it back, but the fact is, being the costumer since abt past 9 years is this the way of interacting with me ?
    Right now if you require iam ready to bring my mobile to ur relation ship center.
    you can analyze the log files from my mobile yourself and confirm that i had not used airtel live in recent times.
    Also i saw many complaints online on the same issue (airtel friendz)

    May be its not a manual fault of yours but the system or software may commit it due to an error na..
    why dont you check the same instead of blaming us?
    Now my balance went into negative. not in a position to call costumer care or even reply to the feed back sms.
    In the past 9 years i think this is the only first problem for me wid Airtel which i had considered Seriously and the costumer care response is really bad.
    I request you to remit my balance and please take care not to repeat these kind of issues in future.

    Just got the e-mail from Airtel and my balance is back ..

    dear ser, i got a message in my mobile from[protected].i want to know who sent it from which place
    Airtel is truly becoming a thief.

    On 26 Dec I received a message stating Airtel Friends chat is activated on my number. Rs 30/month is also charged from my balance.

    It also stated that to cancel subscription call 543216. I called this number (which is not toll free. you are charged for calling on this number.) but was unable to find how to unsubscribe.

    Then I called 121 and the customer care told me that I subscribed to this service by calling 543216. That did not understand that I called 543216 in because I wanted to unsubscribe as the servvice was activated without my request.

    Also they are unwilling to return my Rs 30.

    I hope TRAI takes notice of such malpractices of Airtel. What a thief company.

      my airtel phone number is [protected]. for the last one month airtl has deudcted from my account
      more than rs,50 as cricket pack charges. i never authorised the above company to deuct the amount.
      The company has to pay back the entire amount .

      Airtel Prepaid — unauthorised deduction of money

      dear sir,
      these is second time that am facing a problm ,such that the airtel is deductng anorthorise money without any resons, if i call customer care then , they solve the problm by saying " SIR U HAVE BEEN SUBSCRIBE ****SERVICE ON DATE **/**.. " & put the call down, we have knowled that, to activat any service,subscribtin, we wnt 2 dial smthng or by sendng msg to actvt it,but airtel is doing fraud with customer, such things r indicated that the airtel is not able to compite with another leading networks, so that airtel collecting business (money) through these way.... WHAT AN IDEA SIR JI..... LAGE RAHO AIRTEL....
      plz india take some action on it , nt bcz its matter of mine, but this types of problms r pushing india back, and being reason for hike prices & like that........plz think on it
      Yes. I do agree. I have also faced this problem 3-4 times. When I called Airtel Customer care they told me that you have received the sms for this service and it is specified that "to unsubscribe send sms to some number". I did not understand why Airtel has taken such kind of decision to deduct the money from customer account without knowing the customer. When I tried to speak with the CC to get balance back they simply refused. I have never expected such kind of fraud from one of the top position company in this world.
      Someone has to take action.

        The advertisement given by Airtel and explained by the distributors (from whom we recharge the coupons of various schemes of different sevice providers) about the Freedom Plan 64 is - charge for local calls is 1 paise per minute and for STD calls 1.2 paise per minute. The conditions of this plan is not clearly spelt out either by the service provider or their distributors ( that this is applicable for calls between airtel numbers only). Yesterday after discussing with the distributor at Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, I opted for the freedom plan 64. But when I made a call to an Aircel mobile yesterday evening, the duration of the call was 1 min 46 sec (106 pulse or it should have been only Rs.1.06), but they have deducted an amount of Rs.1.28 from my balance (I have an Airtel pre-paid connection). When contacted their customer care, I was told that 1 paise for local calls is applicable for calls made to another airtel number only and for others it would be 1.2 paise per call, and accordingly they have deducted the charge from my balance. Earlier I had a rate cutter scheme whereby I was able to make local calls to any other mobile phones @ 50 paise per minute. If I were continuing in this scheme, the above call would have cost me only Rs.1.00. I, therefore, feel it is unfair on the part of Airtel to misguide customers like me, as we have to pay more than what we thing before going in for this new plan. I need a favourable reply/action.

          I am from Nasik. Since the day, the Municipal Corporation has disconnected the power supply of the towers belonging to Airtel and some other service providers, network has been adversely affected. This is causing connection problems and thereby, loss of connectivity. One wonders whether Airtel officials have approached the Municipal Corporation regarding this issue ? ? ? If not, I would strongly urge 'those' officials to STOP warming their chairs and take appropriate action. C'mon people, get ur xxxxx moving ...

            Dear Sir,

            This is to inform you, that I have requested Airtel customer care to disconnect my above airtel number [protected] on request number 22351205/22351221 on 22nd of Aug 2009 with the reason to relocating to Navi Mumbai. As per our telephonic conversation with customer care executive I was assured that my number will be disconnected with immediate effect by your customer care representative.

            In the meantime 9th of Sept 09 I recieved email from your concerned department confirming that my number has been disconnected(Trailing Email attached for your reference).

            This is to inform you that if my number has been disconnected on 31st of Aug 2009 and Sametime SIM was destroyed in five peices, then HOW THE HELL MY NUMBER HAS BEEN USED TO MAKE SEVERAL ISD CALLS MADE ON 14TH OF SEPT 09 FOR THE BILLED AMT FOR RS. 9000 APP. ON SAMEDAY.

            After almost a month I recieved one call from Airtel recovery team saying my outstanding is due for Rs. 9700, when I asked for clarification nobody reverted me back.

            TODAY ONLY I RECIEVED ONE LEGAL NOTICE THAT MY AMOUT IS DUE FOR ABOVE NUMBER.

            This is a reharassement for me and for my family members and why should I not fetch them to the consumer court, if I have all the documents and proofs with me including the trailing mail below with me stating that my number was closed on 31st of Aug 2009.

            Moreover the calls made on 14th of sept 2009 that the summary shared by airtel seems to be FAKE as if you look closely on timings of calls like 4th call made on 14/09/09 at 03:22:19 for 21mins duration on [protected] after that immediatly 5th call made on same number for duration 30mins.8sec at 03:22:47 and same for 6th call at 03:23:00 and so on, which shows its fake bill outstanding imposed on customer due to TECHNICAL ERROR.

            I would request you to Kindly look into the matter and as I am helpless and not getting any response from airtel after sending so many reminders to them.

                This is to inform that Customer service for postpaid plans are the worst.
                Inspite of repeatedly asking for change of plans the AIRTEL is yet to respond and very high charges are being billed.
                I fail to understand why are the harassing a Post paid connection holder due to no fault of mine.
                Pls do the needful.

                Airtel Post Paid — CHANGE OF PLAN

                Dear Sir,

                We are having 18 CUG connections with monthly rental-plan of Rs. 249/- on the name of Vishwas Naik. With the assurance of free calling facility within the group the plan was offered to us, but subsequently we have noticed that the charges of Rs. 0.10 per minute are charged in the bill and now we are continuing with the same plan / charges.
                Now we want the plan to be changed from Rs. 249/- to 199/-, and the free group calling facility to be restored.

                Last three months we are trying to pass on our request to the customer care center at Panjim- Goa (India) but every time we call the representative there are insisting to add few more connections so that they will change our plan and give us the free group calling facility. Certainly as and when we need more connections we will go for Airtel only.

                You are well aware about the options available in the market, but we want to continue with the Airtel by considering your past services. Hope you will do the needful at the earliest. Waiting for your reply.

                I am a postpaid customer during 4 to 5 years. I am now holding 'Night plan'. I don't know is there any plan suitable for me ? Actualy, I am a DEV Officer of LICI. My job is to control more than 200 agents. Every day I have to contact with them.So. bill amount is going higher day to day. I am trying to minimise the bill amount but in vain. Dear sir, can you suggest me any plan suitable for me ? I need 5000 to 6000 sms per month.pl. give me suggession.

                AIRTEL-POSTPAID — Change of plan

                I am keeping mobile no. [protected] in my name and have been provided corporate plan for billing.
                On 6th Nov. I have received a massage on my phone from airtel that on my request, my plan has been changed. I have repetedly telephoned custumer care that no such request has been sent by me. They are not giving me the details about the new plan. The repeated reply I am getting is that due to technical problem they are not in a possition to reply me and contact after four hours.
                I shall be greatful for solving my problem. Regards.

                Airtel have some plans in which they give free sms or other free benefits and in terms of money it has some value, so when a user does not utilise the full value of that free service the balance should be deducted from the total bill amount. For instance 100 sms is free in a specific plan the cost of each sms is Rs. 0.50, so if a customer uses only 30 sms then the balance sms i.e. 70 and in terms of money Rs. 70 X Rs. 0.50 i.e. Rs. 35/- should be deducted from the bill but it is not happening.

                  every day between 00:45 a.m. and 1 a.m. I get a message on my mobile phone ( having AIRTEL card) that I have bee charged for some package like one for cricket or another one for bollywood etc. THIS WAY AITEL IS DOING NIGHT TIME ROBBERY FROM MY MOBILE OPHONE ACCOUNT ( PRE-PAID SERVICE ). I CALLED AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE BY DIALING[protected]. THEIR CUSTOMER CARE PERSONNEL ARE NOT GIVING ME ANY NUMBER TO COMPLAIN TO.

                  THIS DAIY ROBBERY BY AIRTEL PEOPLE HAS TO BE STOPPED IMMEDIATELY.

                      I had done booster pack combo booster 119, which I got an SMS from airtel service, saying it will have the validity of for 180 days and I refered the samething on the www.airtel.in. But after recharging it I got only 90 days. for that I called to to the customer care booked a complaint in which I got the response that it was a limited period offer. But while calling the customer care and getting response for the complaint, web information says 180 days. My advise don't believe the SMS and information on www.airtel.in.

                      They are cheating by giving the wrong informations.

                        Dear Sir,
                        I have got airtel prepaid card and want to divert my calls to a landline number which is a valid number (or any valid sim number) . I called airtel customer care and activated call divert option, but i call my number after diverting the call the 1st message I got was "your call has been diverted" and next message " The number is invalid number".
                        I have entered the valid number for diverting the call as I can call the same number from my handset.
                        My I know the reason why I get the message "The number is invalid" . Or is there any format (the number format ) to divert the calls . My number is [protected] (Bangalore).

                          Airtel executives kept calling for about 3 weeks once I called for broadband queries. One fine day, a representative appeared and agreed to provide connection within 2 days. He got the forms signed, took money and necessary documents. A week has gone by, no connection was provided and money has also not been refunded back. Airtel should compensate for this unprofessionalism and inconvinience. otherwise, a formal complaint against airtel should be lodged asap.
                          Airtel Broad band is public cheating organisation, similar promises were made to me also and now they are neither ready to give the connection nor my money back. This is even after taking the issue up with their so called "appeallate authority". My app no. is ch1035568 and complaint number with appeallate authority is 34822932.
                          I called their helpline on a friday they said they will call me back in 72 hours, i called again on monday night with my reference number, they lodged a complaint since I got no calls back I called again on Tuesday lodged a second complaint, On Wednesday they finally call me telling me they cannot provide the Broadband connection as they have no connectivity in my area, all this after me telling my address on friday that is my first call. This is highly unprofessional and they just said "we're sorry we cannot provide the wired line connection as we do not have connectivity in your area". I almost cancelled my ISP connection due to false promises the first 2 times.

                          Same happened for me. The airtel executive collected Rs.900 (649 + 250 installation charge) on 23rd May 2012 but no contact after that. The executive's number is [protected] and his name is Shiva Reddy. My Contact number is[protected]

                            A TOWER BY BHARTI AIRTEL HAS BEEN INSTALLED NEAR OUR RESIDENT e.i 91-ARJUN NAGAR LADOWALI ROAD JALANDHAR CAUSING SO MUCH NUISANCE THAT WE PEOPLE CANNOT SLEEP DURING NIGHT DUE TO VIBERATIONS EITHER BY MICROWAVES OR GENERATOR SET ATTACHED TO THAT TOWER.THE WAVES ARE DAMAGING OUR RESIDENT'S WALL THOSE STARTING CRACK. A LOT OF CRACKS ARE VISIBLE AND THESE WERE NOT THERE BEFORE THE INSTALLATION . MORE OVER LOT OF OTHER AILMENTS LIKE BLOOD PRESSURE, HEART PROBLEMS AND INSOMNIA ARE INCREASING. IT IS CAUSING ENVIRONMENT POLLUTION

                              My MOBILE No. is [protected] INDORE, and for the last one week I've being complaining for refund of my money 45/- for hello tunes which was forcefully activated and imposed on my phone thereby deducting the amount from the balance without my prior consent.

                              How can they register customer's number to unwanted services without their permission ??? ,without any reason they are deducting balances in the name o[censored]nregistered services...!!!

                              Please do needful and refund me my money back.

                                Hi,
                                I am K.K.Agarwal & i have a prepaid connection of Airtel Mumbai no. [protected] & its a life time card.I stay at Lower Parel.Since last week SMSs on cricket scores have started coming to me and some charges/amount is deducted from my balance, as i have never opted for this service i request you to stop this alerts/ SMS service from immediate effect and return back the amount deducted from my balance to me. An immediate action will be appreciated.

                                  Hi,

                                  I was in booster plan of 30p and 50p and 100msg plan which had a validity of 6 months untill April 2010. I had to travel to bangalore for casual trip. So I recharged with a roaming booster 99. When I returned to Chennai. My normal plan was not working. I tried to reach the customer care representative, I was only reaching the automated machine. After 3 days I reached the rep on 02/12/09. spoke with Devi she sd the Roaming booster was converted to a normal local plan. I told her that I want to go back to the old plan.She said that I have to be in this plan for next 1year.

                                  My losses: I lost the old plan, Im losing money on every message and call I make.

                                  Please do the needfull.

                                    FORCEFUL ACTIVATION O[censored]NWANTED SERVICES LIKE MATRIMONIAL ALERTS , JOB ALERTS, CAREER TIPS ETC.


                                    I'm a subscriber of AIRTEL PREPAID SERVICES and my MOBILE No. is [protected], and for the last one month I'm facing a lot of problem with unwanted services being forcefully activated and imposed on my phone thereby deducting the amount unilaterally from the balance without my prior consent. I made several complaints to customer care regarding this and they assured me that these unwanted services would be stopped with immediate effect. I personally spoke to Customer Care Executive several times, but still as on date this problem persists.

                                    It's really surprising that without taking the customer's permission how can they register customer's number to unwanted services. Without any reason they are deducting balances regularly in the name o[censored]nregistered services like MATRIMONIAL UPDATES, JOB ALERTS, CAREER TIPS etc.

                                    This unauthorized charges should be stopped immediately.

                                      Sir, My mobile No. is [protected] obtained in Delhi in 2003, with AIRTEL lifetime validity prepaid facility.
                                      Whenever I move out of Delhi, the OUTGOING SMS facility from my number stops working. I had complained to Airtel 121 on three seperate occasions and on each occasion, after 48 - 72 hours I received a confirmation from Airtel that this has been rectified. Hoowever, this has NOT been rectified. The 121 complaint system does not work from outstations unless I call the Delhi number, which is charged at STD rates. The option to speak to the Customer Care Officer does not come in the IVRS opening menu and one has to go through at least 6-8 menus till this happens. Thus I have spent over Rs. 200/- only on making fruitless conversation to Airtel representatives who keep on placing the call on hold for long durations. Finally the problem has NOT BEEN RECTIFIED. Where can one meet some representative of Airtel to have the problem sorted out?

                                      I HEREBY WANTS TO BRING THIS INCIDENT TO YOUR ATTENTION THAT ON 10 AUGUST 2010 I TRIED SO MANY TIMES TO SEND ONE O[censored]RGENT OFFICIAL MESSAGE TO MY COLLEGUES BUT INSPITE OF MANY ATTEMPTS IT WAS NOT THROUGH. THEN I CALLED UP AIRTEL CALL CENTER AND SPOKE TO ONE OF YOUR REPRESENTATIVES MR. PRADEEP AND INFORMED HIM ABOUT THIS INCIDENT. BUT HIS REPLY WAS `YOU CAN NOT SEND THIS MESSAGE NOW AS OUR SERVER ISS DOWN`. BUT WHEN I ASKED FOR HELP HE DENIED AND REQUESTED TO SEND THIS MESSAGE IN THE MORNING. WHEN I ASKED FOR ANY HELPLINE OR SPEAK TO HIS SUPERIOR. HE GAVE ME MR. VIKRANT PANDEY`S NUMBER.

                                      I TRIED TO SEND THIS MESSAGE IN THE MORNING ALSO BUT WAS NOT THROUGH. IT WAS AN URGENT MESSAGE RELATED TO OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS. BUT WAS NOT DELIVERED TO MY COLLEGUES ON TIME AND I HAD TO FACE DEPARTMENTAL ACTION.

                                      Airtel — non functioning of airtel prepaid mobile

                                      i had bought a pre paid airtel number [protected] 0n 21 dec 2010. however after 7 days the incoming and outgoing calls have been barred because my form and id proof has been misplaced and not reached the agency where it is required. i had also bought another airtel number on the same day, and all the forms and id proof for that have been verified and the mobile is working fine. how is it that one form reaches and the other doesnt. its been over 20 days now...
