DearSir/ Madam,
This is to say that my customer ID No is[protected] and I have a complaint regarding your Digital TV Service.The remote issued to me is not working since 1sth September, 2009. I have sent my representative on 9th September to your local office of airtel at Gomtinagar. At your office Ms Savita Misra Mob No. [protected] spoke to me and asassured me to send Engineer on 10th Sept,09. on But No body visited.
Two days later my representativefurther visited heragain at Gomtinagar Office. Then she advised that if Engineer visitsit will unnecessary be charged on us the company can guide you on phone for correction process if we call your Customer Care at[protected]. When called this no. My wife Mrs Avneet Chugh was assured by your Incharge on duty to send Engineer by 16th Sept 1400 HRS and given us complaintr at No. 1063540 .No body visited from the Company till this date / time .

I further spoke to MsSavita at the above given mobile no. on 17th Evening now she assured me again for sending some one on 18th Morning.No body is there to listen and solve the problem.It looks like that Airtel is indifferent towards their customers and everybody is telling a lie instead of discharging duty.
I am now disgusted customer of airtel and want to surrender all services being obtained from airtel i.e, my broadband connection no[protected] and two mobile cnnections no [protected] and [protected].

    Hi, I like to share my bad experience for using AIRTEL GPRS. On 6th september I subscribed Rs. 61 pack for gprs internet pack that offer 25 Mb free daily usage for one month. First day I have faced no problem. But when I access next time a few days later then it costs rs 143 though my total usage were near 24 Mb. I contacted the gprs related customer care executive. He admitted that the deduction was done wrongly. He promised to refund that amount within 2 days. But unfortunetly I have not received that amount yet. Also whenever I tried to access the service late airtel charged me at 30 paise per 50 kb. But on that daty the customer care executive assured me to say that it will not happen again. But it is occuring everytime.
    What is more embraacing to me is that i even couldn't able to talk to the customar care section. A machine reply comes"For billing information please sms Airtel to 121".

    I faced similar problem few months ago.
    I activated mobile office services on 15th January 2009. I forgot to deactivate it in that day. So automatically it continued to next day. Then I also used that service for that day. Then I dial *444*2# to deactivate it. But the message appears `` your request could not be processed now please try after some time”. Since then I tried to deactivate it but without success. I informed the customer care dialing 121. They first told me to try it often. They told me- it is happening due to server problem. On 18th January morning I again call the customer care and then they asked me to dial 12150 and tell my problem. Hearing my problem the attendant told me that I will get my money back within 20 minutes only of the 17th January because the credit for that day is not showing at that time. I got return of rs 35. Still I did not succeed to deactivate it. Finally I was able to disconnect it on 19th January, 2009 around 5.30 pm. Then I made call to the customer care several times to refund my money debited in the 18th and 19th January. They always told me that they are registering my complain and I will get my return soon even once they told me that I will get it within 2 hour. But Still I didn’t get that refund.

      My connection is still active in spite of my repeated requests to disconnect it. I requested to disconnect the service on Aug 17th 2009 once I was told that there is no possibility to transfer my connection to another place, when I was shifting house. I shifted from Sher-e-punjab (Andheri East) to Bhawani Nagar (Andheri East) , Mumbai.

      8 Aug 2009 - Request for transfer.
      11 Aug 2009 - Reply from the customer care that the issue will be looked into.
      (Called up the customer care quite a no of times in between to hasten the process, but nothing worked)
      17 Aug 2009 - Reply from movers.[protected]@airtel.in that shifting will not be possible
      Post this I requested for closure of connection.
      I received no information on when the connection was closed. I tried reaching the customer care to find out for which the replies were it will be disconnected.

      Now I am receiving bills for this period. Customer care is highly unresponsive.

      My connection is still active in spite of my repeated requests to disconnect it. I requested to disconnect the service on feb- 2009 once I was told that i don, t want to use this connection after that i pay all my bill and they give me the reciept of that of full n final bill.
      This is my user id-[protected]
      password[protected] and last bill which is paid by me is 5- may-2009 n i handover dis bill to mr.Ajay and they told me that this is ur full n final payment and no one call u for d bill again bt again I am receiving bills for this period then i talked to the seniors and i show my last bill then they said ok we will disconect ur no.bt they didn, t do anything. Customer care is highly unresponsive.
      I received no information on when the connection was closed. I tried reaching the customer care to find out for which the replies were it will be disconnected.now they mentally harrased me for regarding bill so i humbly request plz do sumthing n as soon as possible get back to me n plz dissconnect my no.

        Sir,

        I would like to say im having your postpaid connection ([protected]) last four year but now im not happy for this. Im not received my billing in my Installtion address last few months . Many time call to your respective alwar Location and also your ZCSD Mr. Anish shukala ([protected]) :- Alwar but there is no reponce for your side . A present my billing was due due to this reason and im not having any knowladge for that .

        My credit limit is 3000 but airtel discconnected my connection after one billing cycle . My billing cycle is 7 to 8but every time im going to your office for paid the billing for any unbarring system .

        Im not understand the billing of your company . everytime in billing show value added service amount but im not used .

        Now im requested to you , required my billing detail on my mail id and also required hard copy , required call detail of last two month .

        If you not send my request detail im not paid any billing . Im not used your vas service and im paid only my atual uses billing .
        Kindly less all are LPC and vas services amount .

          My Phone [protected] was stilen on 6th of Apr 09 & same day i lodged a police complaint.subsequently next day i.e. 07.04.09 morning I submitted a deactivation request to Airtel, Shastri Nagar , Adyar customer care centre for deactivation.

          Inspite of that Airtel charged me for next two months for SMS service which I did not avail & also on their own they have converted the line to a prepaid one .I never requested for a prepaid conversion.

          I feel harrassed & want them to correct their mistakes & pay back my money which they have taken on their own.

          I have made several calls to customer care number but without result.

            I bought a Blackberry 8520 (tie up with Airtel) mobile from Airtel Relationship Center, Kamla Nagar (address: Airtel Relationship Centre, UA-28, Bunglow Road, Jawahar Nagar and contact numbers:[protected], 41530457, [protected], [protected]).

            It already one week passed they didn't submit my Airtel Perpaid Enrollment Form that's my BB service is not activated. Today I got sms that says "We have no received your Airtel Prepaid Enrollment From. Kindly contact the Airtel Relationship Center or Dealer from where you purchased your Airtel Mobile continued services."

            Ms Payal who dealt the BB phone which I bought and also filled the form and handed over to Ms Payal with the documents required (Photo, Pan and Voter ID with signed where it was needed).

            Now problem is Airtel's BlackBerry service is activated i.e. not working in my BB cellphone and when I contacted her, what she says, "I will contact in 10 minutes" but she doesn't call me at all. So I myself phoned several times to her but the same reply again (she says - I'm busy with some other customers so I will call in 10 minutes.). As Airtel guys always say the same things to their all customers whey a customer call them. Really it's so pathetic service.

            Since I the BlackBerry service is not working on my phone I can't call 7070 (Airtel BlackBerry Customer service).

            So with Blackberry services there is no use of this phone it's like a dummy box and they are wasting my time and money both.

            Please help me to resolve my problem.

            Note: I'll never mind if you ask me to send the mobile number which is being used in my BB phone I will provide you.

              tower no. 22 residing. sir tower control room a/c air outer just opp. of my main gate and generator
              silencer just on my room window . after instalattion of this tower my whole family suffered from
              gastric, blead preasure, tention migration and ASHTHMA problem . so sir i request to you please
              see the location of this tower instalation and my family problem and solve same as soon as early
              possible.

                I tried to contact airtel through the email address given by them care.[protected]@airtel.in but they are not receiving emails and they just bounce. This is violating all TRAI norms, as also illegal otherwise. Please advice me where to write regarding this. Also all telecom companies are violating even basic norms like having complicated bill formats to try to confuse subscribers. And Airtel is still the best telephone internet provider in India. India sucks, What is the govt, regulator TRAI doing???

                I am very surprised to know that Airtle has recruited illiterate and mawalis as their customer care execuitve, The two employees named Mr. Rajesh and Mr. Ashish working at Sector- 57 Noida office used abusive language and also threatened me from their personal cel numbers. I am very surprised where the vision of the chairman of the company is going. First your employess give false commitments then there is no one to listen our compnaints and then when we dicide to not pay the bill and settle the matter in the court your Gundas and Mawalis excuitves try to harass us.                 This mail is regarding customer care casual attitude during call for GPRS setting.
                I have called them 5 times.

                1. 1st call at 6:56 am call duration is 8min (Date:- 13th April 2010).(During call Airtel customer care ex:- give me another no which is 1218.)

                2. 2nd call at 7:04 am call duration is 5 min (Date:- 13th April 2010). (During call Airtel customer care ex:- give me another no which is [protected])

                3. 3rd call at 7:09 am call duration is 5 min (Date:- 13th April 2010). (During call Airtel customer care ex cut the phone and didn’t reply)

                4. 4th call at 7:14 am call Duration is 9 min(Date:- 13th April 2010).( During call they told me they are in technical support team but they didn’t help me because I am using black berry phone)

                5. 5th call at 7:23 am call Duration is 14 min (Date:- 13th April 2010). ( During call I tell them to transfer my call to some one senior there then they put my call on hold and no body


                This type of issues are not come this time only its comeing from long time, I am writing this mail because I have good relation with airtel and I am using Airtel service from last 6year with few mobile no but its enough chasing Airtel and because of few good things I can’t afford my time which is wasting in all these issues.

                  inspite of many complaints regarding deactivation of bhakti tashan this problem is still unsolved.since last seven weeks rs.20 is being deducted from my balance.every time imade acomplaint iwas assured that this will not happen in future and balance will be reverted back to me.but four days ago date,13.09.09 again rs.20 has deducted.please help me.otherwise ihave to take some action.

                      My Mobile phone number [protected] is blocked Date 11/09/2009 without any information and I am unable to calls. I have to do some important calls regularly.

                      I visit the Airtel Relationship Center (ARC) regard our number but She was say(Mis suman) i have no information for your airtel number ([protected]) plz. purchase new airtel number(SIM).

                      ARE ADDRESS: Capricorn Two (396 industrial area A, Opposite R K Machine Tool, Near hotel Zoom, cheema Chownk, Ludhiana) .

                      Hence you are hereby requested to unblock the same at the at the earliest.

                      Service — Sim Permanently Disconnect

                      I am an Airtel Customer since 2002 and hold 2 post paid nos 1 broadband no & a Pre-paid no ([protected]). In all the nos. my address is where I stay

                      I had taken the prepaid no. on 14th April 2008 by submitting my Driving Licence as ID proof & my Airtel bill as address proof. I received an sms on 25th June that due to verification problem my no. is suspended & that I should again submit the documents. On 26th June I visited Airtel Care at Shopprix Mall, sector-61 Noida where I could find lots of customers with the same problem. When I explained my problem to one executive there, she asked me to again fill the enrollment form but said that the form would be available the next day only. I again visited the next day and again forms were not available and they asked me to arrange for the form from any mobile shop. I arranged the same from 'Hot Spot' & after filling the form duly submitted the same on 28th June.

                      I was told by the executive that 28th being Saturday the form would be sent on Monday(30th Jun) & assured me that the services would resume by next Thursday i, e 3rd July.

                      My connection was not activated & I again contacted them on 4th July. The executive checked the register & confirmed that the documents were sent on 29th itself & asked me to contact on Monday(7th July). I called her up in the morning & she said she would investigate & let me know about the same by evening. I again called her up at[protected]Airtel relationship Center) to which she said that my no has been permanently disconnected on 30th June.

                      Now, I would like to know something:-

                      Why was I not informed of verification failure earlier while I had taken the connection on 14th April & only came to know on 25th June?
                      How is it possible that in case of Post Paid & Broadband I stay at the address mentioned above but not in case of Pre Paid?
                      Why are customers harrassed by asking again & again to submit the documents?
                      How could a line be permanently disconnected in 5 days?
                      Who carried out the verification & what was found incorrect?


                      I am really dissatisfied with the services of Airtel & would like my no. to be again activated.

                        I've taken USB Modem on 29th Aug 09 from Bannerghatta Main Road Airtel office Bangalore by paying Rs 4000 ( four thousands)

                        On 10th Sep 09 connection has suspended without my notice when i contacted Airtel customer care they intimated me that Verification department ordered them to do it.

                        Then i requested Airtel department for Verification Customer care lady informed they will be coming my home on Saturday (12th Sep) so i was waiting for them from 10 AM to 7 PM nobody came

                        Sunday holiday , so called on monday directly to Venkat - (USB Model Sales guy Airtel) - Bannerghatta road where i got the hardware and SIM. he suggested me to contact nodal officer Meenakshi

                        On 14th sep 2009, Afternoon at 1 PM Airtel verification executive came to my home done the verification and took my signature and promised me that SIM will be activated in another 3 hours time. as promised i got my internet conenction back at 7 PM in the evenning same day.

                        On 15th Sep 09 again it's not connecting when checked with Airtel they are again telling verification is not done. so outgoing has been barred . then who's the person who came to my home on 14th Afternoon, ?

                          I Ajeev Rattan(gurgaon), holding airtel mobile no. [protected]. I got this no two weeks ago. After a week it stopped working, and showing only emergency signal. I am not able to call(dial & recieve) anywhere including customer care(121). You plz resolve this problem asap. Its very urgent. Otherwise tell me what should i do? Shall i take another no?...

                          i was out of city for few days in august when i returened home on 18th august
                          my dish tv connection was not working
                          when i called the centre they refused to take the complaint under the pretext that my a/c has low balance
                          i was shocked as i had recharged my a/c with 1500 on aug 1
                          i asked him to tell me a/c balance but he refused that it is compnay policy
                          we cannot giv u a/c balance
                          i was surprised he was talking to me after confirming my identity atleast 3 times
                          even after insisting he refused to give
                          he further asked to recharge the a/c with 100 if i want to book the complaint
                          i was shocked
                          when i installed the dishtv at that time ur company gave me 15 days to recharge the a/c for cable charges
                          and now when i am ur old customer, i am not trusted
                          this shows the gimmick played by ur company for poaching new customers
                          to rope in new customers rules are broken
                          but old customer who has already recharged the a/c for full year u don't trust
                          so i had no alternate but to go around for 100 recharge coupon
                          believe me i almost roam half the thane city and also at bhiwandi
                          but could not find the recharge coupon for 100
                          ultimately i found it on 28th aug and booked the complaint
                          the 1st complaint no given to me was 979823
                          and he told me that the engineer (er) will come tom morning
                          i waited but no one came from airtel so i gaain called call centre
                          again i was promised that complaint has been forwarded and i can expect er any moment
                          and in the mean time i got sms on my regd mob from no. 247 that my complaint has been resolved
                          and if i have further queries i can call on toll free no
                          i was shocked no one has come and i had just talked on tollfree no
                          so i again call tollfree no
                          again they promised that er will come before 6 pm at any cost
                          but no one came so i again called in night
                          again i was given promise that some one would 100% come in morning to resolve my issue
                          but no one came at 9 am on 30th aug
                          so i again called tollfree no
                          this time i was given new compalint no 986532 dt 30/08/09
                          i insited for same old complaint no to continue
                          but in vain they did not listen and issued me new no 986532
                          and again promised that er will come today at any cost
                          but no one came from airtel
                          in the meantime i got a call from er on 31s t aug that if i am at home he would come
                          i had given specific reuqest that we r available only before 10 am and after 7.30 pm
                          but still the er called and insisted to come at 2 pm
                          i expalined him that i was waiting for him since friday and i sat at home for 3 full days waiting for him
                          he very carelessly told that being ganpati festival he was on leave
                          i asked him if he was the only er with airtel
                          and also asked hiim that i[censored] r on leave does such a big orgn comes to stand still
                          bbut it was of no use talking to him
                          that evening i rushed home from office early so that dish tv can be started
                          when i reached home i called him and requested him to attend my complaint
                          but he very rudely said that his duty hours are only form 11 to 6 pm
                          he will come only between 11 am to 6 pm
                          i requested him explained him the whole situation
                          that i had waited for 3 full days but he did not come
                          i cannot leave my ofice and come home early
                          but he was adamant and he told he can't come
                          and he said i can if i want to complain aganst him
                          he is not afraid
                          so next morning on 1st sep i again called customer service
                          today it was 5th day after actual complaint
                          and14th day sine my dish tv is not working
                          again i told them full incident
                          but of no use
                          so this time i asked them to disconnect my Dishtv
                          if they can't send er for so many days
                          and again they gave me new complaint no 994517 instead of resolving my original complaint
                          no.979823 dt 28/9/09
                          on 2nd sep i recd sms that my disconnection complaint has been resolved
                          i fail to understand that how it is resolved unilaterally

                          in the meantime someone from delhi office called and enquired about our complaint
                          we told we r fed up and we onot want to continue
                          he said ok we will get the refund of our a/c within 2 days
                          we waited for 2 days but no one came
                          so we again called and again this time they issued one more complaint no 1008989 dt 4/9/09
                          again we waited and waited but there was no response from ur side
                          again on 6th sep we recd sms that ur complaint no. 1008989 has been resolved
                          i fail to understand that how it is resolved unilaterally once again
                          again no one responded from ur co
                          we waited for few days that we will get back the money
                          so again we called and this time
                          one MR. Kiran patagane (Supervisor)
                          he also promised to look into the matter and revert back
                          there after one mr. nitin wagh called from mumbai that he is coming to my home to collect STB and Dish
                          as i no longer want to continue and i had no balance in my a/c
                          i told him that i have recharged my a/c with rs 1600
                          he was shocked, he said he was told we have no bal and we donot want to continue
                          he again promised that he will understand my problem and revert
                          but today is 15 sep
                          no one has called us
                          nor our complaint dated 26th aug has been resolved
                          it is almost a month out dish tv is not working
                          i want to ask
                          is this the way of working of airtel
                          when we took the new connection we were given 8-10 days to pay for cable chgs
                          now after we are old client
                          where our a/c is already recharged with 1500
                          we have opted for annual plan
                          ur company is not ready to take complaint
                          we r asked to recharge for rs 100 if we want to reg a complaint
                          again ur recharge vouchers are not available readily
                          it took us 4 days to find them
                          after lodging complaint the complaint is not attended for 4 days
                          but every time we are given false promises and time slot that er
                          will come to ur home
                          we stayed back at home for 3 days but ur er didnot come
                          on monday when we joined office he called
                          and explained that he was on leave as there was ganpati festival
                          then why call centre people gave wrong info and we were asked to stay back at home
                          we requested er that we bothare working guys can he come before 10 am or after 7 pm
                          but he refused and said that his working time is 11to 6
                          we can put leave for 3 days, but ur er is not ready to come early by one hour
                          even when our complaint is pending for 5 days
                          and he challenged us to talk to call centre and do whatever we can

                          u only reply is it the way u treat customer
                          we preferred airtel b'coz of it's name, brand, goodwill and referral
                          but we now regret our decision
                          please do the needful and
                          kindly refund us our money

                            Hi,

                            I have applied for Airtel broadband connection initially in first week of August. In the feasibility check (took 2 days) the Airtel persons said it is not feasible to give a connection in my area (Madiwala). Then I dropped going for Airtel and thought of going to some other service provider.

                            But after few days I got a call from Airtel person saying that they can give the connection in 7 working days, and I said OK. They have collected the documents and Rs 150/- extra from me on 19th Aug 2009 and debited the deposit amount of Rs 1000/- from my account on 21st Aug 2009.

                            After one week I called the executive Anand and got the reply saying that it will take one to two days to give the connection due to some tag confirmation from his officer. After 2 days I called him again and again but got the same reply, after one more week also same reply. Even I checked with his manager Rajasekhar, he too delayed convincing me to wait for 2 more days as i have already waited for 2 weeks, but no use.

                            Finally i booked two complaints[protected] and then got the reply that it is not possible to give the connection for some stupid reasons. When I asked them to refund my amount, they said it will take 15 working days to refund. how funnyyyy? one more funny thing is even if i call the executive now he is saying he will give the connection in few days though it is not feasible. very funny... I had very good opinion on airtel earlier but lost everything now by seeing similar incidents to others also...

                            I didnt understand what the hell do these guys do in feasibilty check and why should they come back and commit to give the connection in 7 days if they cant. Because of this i wasted almost a month time....

                            i have recorded few of the conversations to book a cheating case against these for wasting my time... just wrote a mail to TRAI and waiting for reply.

                            ....PLEASE DONT GO FOR AIRTEL BROADBAND NEW CONNECTIONS, I THINK THEY HAVE EXCEEDED THE LIMIT AND THE EXECUTIVES ARE JUST PLAYING WITH CUSTOMERS TO RUN THEIR BUSINESS...

                              on 14th september i purchased one air tel digi tv of 3 months subscriprion free package. on 15th september the customer care officer of airtel digi tv send a sms on my mobile number regarding negative balance of my digi tv and he also advised me for immediate recharge. I surpised as to how despite of 3 months 1 day only passed and the digi tv needs to be recharged. please help and guide me in this regard otherwise i shall be harassed.

                                My airtel mobile no. is [protected]. This is Government Card on my brother's name who is working in High Court but currently using by me.

                                On Monday, the 14th September 2009, at around 9:30 am I have received SMS from airtel that on my mobile following services has been activated for which they have charged me and deducted from my balance. For activation of these services I have never sent SMS or contacted to customer care services.

                                Shaddi , Sports News, Naukari etc.

                                Immediately I called customer care service on 121 and Mr. Omprakash was on the line. I informed him regarding wrong activation of the above services. Mr. Omprakash informed me that the same will be deactivated and whatever deduction is made from my balance the same will be credited by 15th September 2009.

                                Since the amount was not credited till 1:30 pm on 15.09.2009, I have called up customer care on 121 and enquired about my refund with one lady who had informed me that credit will be given by 16.09.2009.

                                At 2:15 pm I have received call from Airtel No.[protected] and one lady was on the line. She had informed me that all above services has been activated from my side only hence no refund will be given to me.

                                I told her that I have not activated any services and such type of deductions are made earlier also but she had not listened any thing. She told me to visit nearest Airtel Gallary and she had disconnected the line.

                                I want to solve the problem once for all. Everytime they are deducting for some services which I am not interested and activated. I want refund for wrong deductioins done from my balance on 14.09.2009.

                                After reading this complaint i thought i am reading my complaint b'coz this same case was with me, they had activated masala packs in my mobile no [protected] on 09/09/09 without my consent &from then till today i am waiting for my amount inspite of writing complain to DOT, DPG, CUSTOMER CARE, CONSUMER FORUM, NODAL OFFICER, APPELLATE TRIBUNAL.

                                  After 50 days of putting the complaint, and calling 3 times to customer care.
                                  They had returned my money.
                                  The reason they say is that, there is a different flow about returning the money collected for WIFI devices. and since it goes in to different account, it will take time to return.

                                  And finally
                                  I got my money back. Thanks to those executives who took initiative and done my work.

                                    I am having prepaid airtel connection number [protected], without my notice and confirmation Airtel has activated VAS and online property search for which they charged Rs.3- (for VAS) and Rs. 1/- (for Property search) daily. I have creadited sum of Rs. 500/- from online to my mobile when I was out of country, but when I came back and checked my balance was negative(surprisingly) and I was not able to make a call.

                                    after my lodging a complain they have deactivated VAS but not refunded any amount. They asked for details of amount debited, I have given dates and total amount deducted but still I have not received any refund.

                                    This is a chitting with the consumers and require a strict action against the cellular companies.

                                      Sir,my number is [protected],,this is my 2nd SIM i use it not regularly but the problem is that automatically without my permission or request a company scheme is activated on my number and daily Rs- 3day is reduced from my account till today 26 march my account balance reduced to Rs= -30 and also i did't get any confirmation sms from company that a scheme is activated,,so therefore i want you to solve this matter at your level and take fast necessary step and clear my negative balance as soon as possible
