HI, I had applied for the broadband connection of the Airtel at my place 92F, 3rd Floor, Munirka 110067, New Delhi. For which the company sent their representatives at my place on 28th of August 2009 and collected a cash amount of Rs. 1000 and gave me the slip.He Promised me the connection within 2 days.I kept waiting unless i gave a call at their costomer support center, only to get a promise that the process is going on and they will install the broadband connection by 11 AM next day.This process took long and it became habit to give me time and fail to respond till that date.After 5th of September 2009, i enquired just to know that connection at my place is not possible due to some technical reasons.I asked why this information was not given to me from their side, but they had no satifactory answers.I logged a complain with their call center and they assured me that action will be taken, but it was also a false thing as their previous statements.Now they are refusing to return my money, and telling me that because of TRAI rules they can hold my money for 45 days, and i will be getting a refund only after this period of time.
I just want to ask the fairness of the rules like this where the service provider takes money, does not provide any kind of service and hold the money without any reason for long period.What action can be taken to prevent this kind of harrasment?
Symphony services — Refund for the airtel broadband connection
Hi,I applied for airtel broadband internet connection. refernece number is TBLR004331.
I gave a cash of rupees 2250, towards new connection. 1750 towards the device which I opted to own and 500 rupees other charges.
While taking the cash, they said that connection is available in my area. After taking the money from me, they said that because of technical reasons they are not able to provide me internet connection.
They refunded 500 rupees.
My problem, is if you are not able to provide me internet connection, becuase of your problems. You should refund my all money which I payed. It is very frustrating to digest this.
I sure if I go to consumer court i can win the case easily.
I am requesting the related officers, to please refund my entire money as soon as possible.
