I received a message from Airtel to use my mobile number and login with a password they sent on a particular http site so i will be able to view my mms. But it says wrong username and password. my number is [protected]. And it is very irritating. The Customer Care says there is no service like that anymore. So, why does airtel keeps sending such useless messages then?

Airtel — unable to use nop

hi, i'm having a prepaid airtel connection and using the net on phone service from airtel since last one year but from last one month i 'm having problem in using this service after a number of complaint's i'm still helpless i'm not been able to connect to internet while using nop,it show's 'error in connection' is there any solution to my problem please suggest.

This is seriosly i brought a sim student plan activated MMS but cannot send it and cannot recieve it also i have other friends num in goa which also has the same issue complained regarding this no one to take care they say technical team will get back to us but no one responds and after 4 days u get a message ur query is been resolved thank you for contacting airtel customer care it all i havebeen charged Rs 5 per mms but none reaches me from goa number and if i send 1 from my other number they get a mail id saying u have a mms please visit airtel.in with a passcode this is not sorted out

I took airtel for internet. It was not working and I reported more than 20 times, spoke to various people at various level. They says sorry. No one to help and we discontinued numbers. Paid all dues etc.

After 2 months I got call for payment and I asked please provide me details of bill I have not received.

samsung m600 — repaire

i am purchase my M600 set on may 2008, at present the charging point as well well all the point(releting to charging pin) are not working, i was gone through the repaire center, they say that u broke that point but i am not even drop my set, they tell it will coast near 2500 to repaire, but it is in waranty perion.

i use nokia 72 with connetion of airtel number is [protected]... and automatically mms forwarded from my mobie on 1 dec 2009 i called on customer care and three times calls disconected by agent..and ivr was barred after 10 day whem ivr start working i again called up ther nd talk with escilattion offer his name is mukesh h is very rude his wordings are*( sir paise waie nai milenge ) kuch b aotimatically nahi hota aapne he kiye hai ...i was hoked with hi wording after that he disconnected the call....my 50 rs was dedcuted i talk with 3 escilation offcer all of them say we are the manager there and i[censored]r not satisfied than talk with our nodal officer...and nodal officer number alwys remain busy....tell me some suggestion where should i go......

    i bought the above mentioned coupen from Moore street, chennai Airtel Branch and they sratch this and send sms from their office mobile. but so far am not getting any message in tv. but 2 day i bought another Rs.500 card and loaded now.
    Please ask them to check what happen to the above card and inform

      hello please unsubscribe the models pack mms messages you people are sending daily.
      first you show some greetings and then you are sending nude model videos ? i'll file a case against you.stop this nonsense immediately.

      if you don't do this, i'll shift to some other service like idea, docomo, vodafone.
      please do it right now.

        Company claiming to pioneering in communication industry has the least care to receive customer complaints. I have a airtel landline[protected] since 2002- 03. Until recently, the company was accepting customer complaints regarding services failure on 42112345, however now I understand that this facility is now available only for corporate users and residential landline users are advised to call 121.

        I have an Aircel mobile number , and when called from that connection, the call is directed to Aircel customer care, who are unable to take a complaint on Airtel landline. I am at the end of my wits to understand how the company (Airtel) who is boasting a INNOVATION FUND can think that a customer will search for people with active Airtel connections to make a complaint for a landline which is not active. If only my airtel landline was working, I would not have the need to complaint..

        I am writing into this with a hope to get help. I would also like this matter be taken up for arbitration through TRAI , please help.

          Hi,

          My Airtel Number is [protected].

          One fine day, I suddenly received a sms on my cell saying thanks for subscribing to cricket alert services and they reduced my balance by 30 Rs.
          After complaints at 121 and also sending STOP sms to 121 and UNS to 52906 they r not stopping the service and keep on cutting money from my balance. Pls. tell me what to do???
          The sms r a headache for me at the night. Should i stop using Airtel connection???

          Please revert back with proper solution to this problem.

          Mobile prepaid — unnecessary sms on IPL cricket and others

          My mobile No is [protected] Ernakulam mobile services.
          I have a serious problem on the services of Airtel on SMS.

          Even after I gave frequent complaints through 121 to your operators, SMS on IPL cricket and others are pondering into my mobile and spoils my battery and money.

          These SMS eat away my battery when I am on Roaming and becomes dead on battery due to it.

          As informed to your personnel earlier, I am not responsible and will not pay for the charges imposed on me on this account. By this complaint I request Mr. Sunil Bharti Mittal Chairman Bharti Airtel, to advise your personnel not to impose such charges for the benefit of your company.

          Individual is not interested your such SMS and I do not want any such SMS to be sent and request you to block them with immediate effect.
          121 is not customer friendly and take more time on their prerecorded advertisements. If you want to have such advts. have in a seperate service No. and no the one alloted for the enquiries/ complaints.
          Change your phone Nos.
          Finall, you are requested to immediately block the SMSs recd. from any of the field on Cricket or so.
          I want only my personal SMS sent by my friends whom I concatact frequently.

          I want action immediately.

          My number is [protected], Pls stop this unwanted CRICKET alerts and subsequent deductions. I repeatedly sent the STOP sms to 121 and followed the instructions thereafter, still they are deducting my money everyday and also charging me extra for other services which i did not subscribe in the first place.           Dear Airtel,

          I am your customer with no. [protected]. Let me tell you that you are unnecessarily sending me cricket alerts since last 6 days without my request, permission and subscription for it and have deduced @ Rs. 3 per day about Rs. 18 from my balance.
          this is not fair to cheat customers and rob them of their balance. my repeated attempts to call customer care at 121 is not received and sending many messages including "STOP" to 121 and 54321 has not yielded any result. cricket alerts are being sent and Rs. 3 is deduced per day from my balance.
          Please take immediate actions to stop sending cricket alerts or any other type of sms for which you deduce balance without customers' permission/subscription. Kindly reimburse the deduced amount meanwhile from my balance.

          My father owns an Airtel prepaid mobile number [protected] and since IPL-3 this year, cricket alerts got started coming over his phone and subsequently deductions are also being made from the balance.
          Couple of complaint in this regard at 121 has been made but to avail and cricket alerts continue to come and so are the deductions.
          Despite being an Airtel customer for years, if this is the quality of response one receive from the company then what is the use of continuing association with such a company?

          I want to complain against unwanted services activated by Mobile service providers(Tata Docomo).
          I am not believe in "VASTU SASTRA" and that is useless for me but they activated vastu sastra service and deducted subscription charges from my a/c balance.
          And when i was call docomo customer care executive he informed me we send you flash message and you activated this service & inform me if you want to talk with my manager so call me after 5 minute. After 5 minute when i was call again to Service executive on company No. 121 they do not allow me to talk with coustomer executive only one tape is there to instruct mail on [protected]@tatadocomo.com.
          So, no one is there to listen customer problem.
          Therefor i need your help to fight against unwanted service activated & against flash messages & voice calls of Service Providers.

                COMPLAINT AGAINST AIRTEL OF DEDUCTING BALANCE WITHOUT CONSENT AND AUTHORIZATION.

                To The Nodal Officer

                Dear Sir,
                This is with reference to my previous complaints regarding my prepaid number[protected] getting debited unnecessarily for un requested Value Added Services Provided by Airtel without my knowledge consent and authorization. I had received a mail from Ms Priyanka Raj (Nodal Officer) confirming that the complaint is being investigated and my acct bal that was debited has been credited back and confirming that this would not happen again. This was happening due to technical error at your end as confirmed by your Customer Service.
                However I would like to inform that this has started happening again today 14th September 2009 from 1.00 pm (approx) till around 1.15 pm and within this period I have received around 15 msgs from your number 64611001 stating " Thank you for using prelisten option on Hello Tunes Manager. You have been charged Rs 1" My acct bal was Rs 100.29 and was brought down to Rs 85.29 after these charges which were charged without my consent or authorisation inspite of requesting your personnel repeititively not to charge my acct for all these services. I had also requested the same thing to Mr. Virender of your Customer Service who called me on Saturday afternoon at 15.05 hrs. His number is [protected]. I am feel harassed and stressed out mentally due to these actions of yours. I have already spent considerable amount of money calling your customer service and being put on hold for 30 minutes to 45 minutes at times without any solution. Also I would like to point out one Mr Mohnish at your Sahara Mall Outlet (his number [protected]) who was rude enough not to pick up my calls after giving his number to me and asking me to call up in case of any problem.

                In view of the above circumstances and your inability to solve the problem of my acct getting charged for unauthorised and unrequested services, I am left with no other option but to approach the Consumer Court and initiate a Public Interest Litigation against AIRTEL. Also till now I have not been given an option by your AIRTEL Staff to meet any of your Senior Level Customer Service Personnel and get the problem solved. I beleive Airtel beleives in playing with Customer's money, time and effort that is why they want to remain elusive.

                I had lodged a previous complaint in consumer forum on 08/09/09 ref number 59.178.220.147 regarding the same problem which started from 26th August 2009 but I feel still AIRTEL is not bothered and thinks that I am joking with them. I think AIRTEL DOES NOTHING OTHER THAN MAKING FALSE AND HOLLOW PROMISES TO CUSTOMERS. ITS HIGH TIME TRAI TAKES SERIOUS ACTIONS AGAINST SERVICE PROVIDERS LIKE THIS
                mohsin khan dont bloody play with me. what do you think u guys are joking with me?? as i write to you right now 15th september 2009 at 01.48 pm my acct bal has got further debited for Rs 83 for unauthorised services without my knowledge and consent leaving my bal to Rs2.29. dont give me these false promises that you are looking into the problem this is done intentionally by the airtel management. If you guys really want to solve the problem then give me the address of your customer service where i can meet your senior customer service manager. You have left me with no other option than initiate legal actions against airtel for compensation for loss and mental harassment.

                  I am a customer of airtel and so far I had no complaints. But of late without my instructions they have been sending sms to my cell and deducting my money. Also I have not asked for any downloading of caller tunes. I have not got any caller tunes but my money is being deducted. As I am pre paid subscriber I am able to know how much money is deducted at once.

                  The best part is I am not able to call customer service and tell them to stop sending sms to me. The 121 no. is of no use as I am on the line for more than 15mts and there is no response.
                  Sir,

                  I have airtel sim with no [protected]. On 19th July I reacherd 50 Rs. I saw the balance came
                  42 Rs.Few minute later I saw 27 rs has been deducted from my balance.
                  1.Now I tryied to contact Customer care hole day but couldnot.
                  2.I contact customer care from anotther phone I got. he kept me on line 5 minute
                  then he disconnect the phone without giving any solution.
                  3. I contct from another once more she also kept me on line more than 20 minutes without any
                  solution and finally I contact another number supervisor same thing happend.
                  4. I asked her to give the head office phn number she denied to give and disconnect the number.
                  None of the told me their name when I asked.
                  I had very bitter experinec with Airtel since long time back.
                  All togeather I have 8 airtell sim in my family. If you give me any solution then OK
                  othewise tell me how I will change these no to BSNL or any other service.

                  I am waiting for reply.
                  I had an Airtel service num in my phone.So I just dialled the num but didnt activate anything.After almost 10 hours I get a message that I have subscribed to Airtel Friends chat and Rs 30 has been deducted from my account.I tried to call the customer care but no one takes the call.I try from another number and a woman takes the call but when I start explaining my problem she just disconnected my number.Within 20 minutes I get another message on my number that this time I have activated Cricket Alerts and again they have deducted Rs 30 from my account.They dont take my call.

                  This is the limit.May be their attitude shows that a customer can't ask if he has got any query.They will keep on activating some stupid service and keep on deducting money from your account and you can do nothing about it.This is not the first time that happened to me.If we want to complaint about this no one takes our call.If this the case with educated people in city I wonder what they must be doing with people from villages.

                    I want to bring this issue in your notice that I am keep getting messages from 64611099.
                    The msgs say that
                    "Thanks for downloading Java games from Airtel Live WAP service. You've been charged Rs. 99 Enjoy http://gclub.in."
                    I have got this msg twice on 18th night and they deducted 198 Rs from my account. This is completely rubbish since I dint download any such game nor visited any such game website, even then I am getting such msgs. I talked to customer service but no satisfactory reply from that side. This is disgusting and irritating that few days back also I received few msgs saying that you have been charged for downloading ring tones, wallpaper etc..
                    I am surprised Airtel which is supposed to be a well reputed mobile service provider allows such nonsense stuff.

                    I am sorry to say that Airtel is more interested in publicity and increasing users from a totally commercial angle and sees only its benefit than being genuinely interested in helping its customers. I am deeply frustated that Airtel has unnecessarily intruded my mobile inbox and wasted my time and peace.


                    I am going to consumer court to settle the things if necessary actions has not been taken soon.

                    I too have faced the same problem

                    For the past four months i have been receiving SMS from Airtel saying -
                    "Thanks for subscribing GamesClub.in.You've been charged Rs.30. Enjoy http://gclub.in"

                    and

                    "You have been renewed for GamesClub subscription service from Airtel. You have been charged Rs 30. "

                    I am receiving 4 such sms every month. so totally, they were adding extra Rs 120/- in my bill every month.
                    This comes in SMS-Others category of my detailed bill.

                    Every month i will be calling Airtel Customer Care and registering complaints against this issue and they did apologized me in the beginning and assured me that this will be repeated and told me that this amount will be adjusted in the next month bill.

                    For one month they did like that, but later whenever i call them and say about this, they will say like - "We will raise waiver for this madam !!"

                    I do not know what actions they have taken, none of the things have changed..It continues till this month.
                    So i stopped calling them and this month i have directly gone to the Airtel Showroom at Annanagar, Chennai and explained them the issue.

                    I demand an explanation for the happenings and immediete discontinuation of the specific service from my mobile.
                    The showroom manager assures me, the service will be immedietly and will be sending an e-mail to the orresponding team to adjust the amt in my next bill.And he asked me to pay the remaining amount in my due.(I was charged Rs 240/- extra for tat sms)I did pay the remaining before my due date but till now am getting calls from airtel customer care asking me to pay the remaining due Rs 240/- (tat sms charges).

                    Even after explaining the problem, they are not accepting their faults and threatening me to pay the remaining amt. An executive (girl) called in the morning and i told her i was instructed by the Airtel office guy not to pay the Rs 240/- and he would have sent an e-mail to the corresponding team and i ask her to search for it. Also i did tell her i will be going to that same office and get it cleared. She kept the phone then.

                    But in another one hour i got a call from same number and a different executive called me and he asked me to pay the bill in a rude manner. He was not listening to my problem and when i asked him to cross check the complaints/queries raised on behalf of my number, he replied in a very rude manner saying its not my job and u need to go and get if you want.

                    In my life time, i have never seen or heard of this kinda worst Customer Service anywhere.
                    They are not finding any values in thier customer and not listening to their problems.

                    I request the respective officials to take some rigoruous actions against this forgery. And please let me know where i can register a legal complaint against this service provider, if required.

                      This is Mamta Rupani and my airtel mombile number was 91-[protected]. I have already asked to close my number as now i have got corporate vodafone connection moreover they never did. I received a call from airtel from the number 91-[protected] wherein the executive started abusing my mom which is actually giving a bad name to airtel that how you guys are hiring. i have asked all my friends not to use airtel on what the behaviour was of that girl.

                      Till the time i dont receive any apology from airtel will not make any payments. i m not a fraud if you check my prior records i had made the prior payments which was higher then this amount. The way that executive was talking was not at all professional and if you guys cannot take any action i would suggest you to close your company. Because i will further let people know what kind of training you guys give to your employees.
                      please take this issue as a serious concern.

                        Against phone call from the marketing dept of Airtel that they are offering ISD pack service to some select customers only, I agreed for so as I do dial ISD sometimes. The terms told to me on the phone were that the charge is Re.1/- per day for the no. of days the service remains active. And when the service is active, the ISD cahrge to USA & UK will be Rs.2.99 per minute against the rate of Rs.5.99 per minute. They also clarified that I can choose the no. of days in a month that I need to keep the service active and it will cost me Re.1/- per day for only those no. of days. Balance days in the month I can deactivate the service and activate once agin whenever I want it.
                        I was also told that I will get a call from their activation cell for confirmation and they will again call to inform when service is activated. Accordingly I did get confirmation call for activation when it was once again affirmed that they will inform whe the service is activated.
                        I tried to find these terms & conditions on their customer care no. 121 and for email from them to confirm the terms & conditions but the answer I got was that this service is directly offered from their marketing dept and they are not aware of it at all.
                        However, when service was activated, there was no information or call to inform me. I came to know that it has been activated when I called their 121 customer care no. to find about it a week ago when they told that it has already been activated. To deactivate it, he said he cannot do so on the phone call and that it will be taken up only if I send a mail to their customer care mail ID.
                        Now when I sent the mail, I get a response that it will take 3 working days to deactivate for the same.
                        My issue is :
                        Why was I not informed when the service was activated so that I could choose to keep it activated it or deactivate it? This when I had been confirmed that I will be called & informed about the activation.
                        Why no terms & conditions are not sent by email or ontheir website so that it is authentic and one understands all the terms?
                        The condition that it would take 3 working days to deactivate was never told and now I am forced to bear the expenses for about 10 days time since activation. This is sheer cheating and want it to reversed and issue addressed.

                          This is regarding airtel landline broadband connection.I've airtel landline connection since 2007.My phone no is[protected].
                          Two months ago they called me up and upgraded my plan 999 to 1299. They told me that with this plan I will get free value per month of Rs 499 which include

                          I was happy and I accepted the offer.
                          Hours later a comfirmation call which repeated the same song.
                          I immediately okeyed and accepted the plan.
                          My first bill was okey. It was 1585
                          This month I received a bill of Rs 2123.
                          On inquiry I came to know that games on demand which was told to be absolutely free have been charged 3 times 199 * 3. I was shocked as this facility was totally free with my Turbo 1299 plan.

                          I repeatedly kept calling them that they got to rectify my bill. For this airtel costumer care demanded one week time. A week later I was informed that 199 Rs have been waivered off from my bill but I will have to pay rest of the amount for game on demand. I explained his about the plan I was using.
                          To my surprise and great shock he told me that none of the facility are free on 1299 plan and an amount of 199 for games, 100 for pc security and 100rs for call and 100 for speed on demand are charged with it.
                          I rechecked the plan in airtel site on net and again it said that a free value of 499 is included in the plan. what should I do. I'm going to dissconnect the line and go to court for cheating and mentally harassing me. what should I do. No one at Airtel is listening to my request

                              HI, I had applied for the broadband connection of the Airtel at my place 92F, 3rd Floor, Munirka 110067, New Delhi. For which the company sent their representatives at my place on 28th of August 2009 and collected a cash amount of Rs. 1000 and gave me the slip.He Promised me the connection within 2 days.I kept waiting unless i gave a call at their costomer support center, only to get a promise that the process is going on and they will install the broadband connection by 11 AM next day.This process took long and it became habit to give me time and fail to respond till that date.After 5th of September 2009, i enquired just to know that connection at my place is not possible due to some technical reasons.I asked why this information was not given to me from their side, but they had no satifactory answers.I logged a complain with their call center and they assured me that action will be taken, but it was also a false thing as their previous statements.Now they are refusing to return my money, and telling me that because of TRAI rules they can hold my money for 45 days, and i will be getting a refund only after this period of time.
                              I just want to ask the fairness of the rules like this where the service provider takes money, does not provide any kind of service and hold the money without any reason for long period.What action can be taken to prevent this kind of harrasment?

                              Airtel Broadband Connection with Wi-Fi Modem was sold to us Airtel Salesperson (Biswajit Dutta,F.S.O)promising us to take care of disconnection procedure of our exsisting B.S.N.L Broadband Connection. He took all relevant documents from us two months ago. Till date he has done nothing and also not responding to our phone-calls.As a result, we are are to pay perforce, monthly charges to two companies.

                              Airtel - Broadband service — False Promise

                              HI,
                              I had applied for the broadband connection of the Airtel at my place 28C, 2nd Floor, Pocket - I , sec-18 Rohini 110085, New Delhi. The Airtel representatives Brijesh Thakur & Ghanshayam ( [protected] , [protected] )visited my place on 2nd of Jan 2010 and collected a cheque amount of Rs. 1500, Form number 2060701 and gave me the receipt.
                              They Promised me that they will install the broadband connection by 12:00 Hrs next day & activate the broadband by 20:00 Hrs.
                              I kept waiting unless i gave a call at their costomer support center, only to know that there will be no installation on 3rd jan 2010 .
                              I was earliar using the MTNL broadband connection and was not happy with the support service , Airtel gave me the green picture of their fast & good service , Now I feel " AASMAN SE GIRE TO KHAJOOR MAIN ATTUKKE "
                              I want to know that what action can be taken to prevent this kind of harrasment & demand compenstation for the time without net connectivity all because of irresponsible airtel sales people?

                              AirTel — New broadband Connection not provided as promised

                              Dear Sir,
                              I have had a very bad experience with Airtel brodband services. I have not received the connection which was promised 6 days back. Instead I get back a message saying your amount would be refunded due to connection being not feasible. Feasibility must have been checked before the representative comes in or booking the connection. This is as per Airtel policy.
                              I recently shifted from Bangalore to Chennai and my father being an existing customer of Airtel, I wanted to take a new broadband connection from airtel. But unfortunately I now regret for having even spoken to the Airtel people.
                              I called up Airtel customer care on Thursday, 4th Nov 2010 requesting a new broadband. They told me the representative would call after confirming the feasibility and connection availability in my area. Within an hour, there were two people who contacted me and just as in a race, both of them turned up, though we booked the connection with first person. He promised to give the connection by 8th Nov 2010. On 8th Nov we called him umpteen times and each time he told me connection would come in few minutes and then next day I receive an SMS saying there is no connection in your area.
                              The area is not a remoteone. It is Anna Nagar, considered to be prime area in Chennai. If your connection is not available at all, then how come in the first place your people came rushing to book the connection? In case you had told me on the day I booked that it was not possible, there would not have been a need to have waited these days I would have opted to go in for bsl broadband. It was a mental torture the whole day stating the connection would come now and then. Which means your aim is cheap publicity stating best broadband and you can get in remote places lke forest etc. And it is a cheating job of these representatives and it has spoilt the reputation of Airtel.

                              I am not expecting a refund of the amount, I want the connection which was promised. I still do believe some one would look into this matter and get back.
                              what about the documents that I have submitted to you, since I have provided my passport details.
                              I am very sorry to say but I think airtel thinks customers are people to be played with like toys. I was given a call on 9th November at 10:00pm in the night stating if you come now, we will give you the connection. We started to get back home and after 15 minutes there comes a reply stating tonight is not possible, please come tomorrow- 10th nov at 8:30 am. We waited till 10:00 am and there was no reponse. We tried calling the repr. which he never attended and later switched off. I definitely want to escalate this issue since this has been a total mental torture. I no more want the connection at all. Even before getting the connection I am harrassed like this. what would happen if i become the customer. Being in the IT company I will put up in my groups regarding this issue and publicize the true face of airtel. And get it known to people in other companies as well through my friends. I hope no body else would undergo this torture henceforth since no more would ppl would be interested in getting the connection.

Everytime I receive this message my phone credit balnce gets reduced by Rs.5,10 or 20 variably. i have tried several times to unsubscribe this service by conatacting the Airtel Customer Care service but in vain. they give false assurances and the same problem persits.
                                i am really disgusted with this . Please help me unsubscribe this service.

                                  I Vipul Rangani having an Campas Airtel Prepaid Card No [protected] ,my outgoing call charges under campas scheam is 0.10 paise for my campass member but Airtel is deducting 0.40 paise for my outgoing call charges .

                                  I have loged camplain to customer care by calling 121 for more than 15 times but still my problem has not being solved .

                                  Therefore i request you to please look in to this matter urgently and take some immediate action.

                                    I am Augustin Victor from chennai. I applied for Airtel broadband connection on 28th Aug 09 with [SEF No. CH 929095], through Anna nagar Airtel office. Handed over the application to the Airtel executive Mr. Murali, ph. no - [protected]
                                    and a Cheque for Rs.1000 and cleared from my Account.
                                    After that I got the Verification call from Airtel on 5th September and he told that I would get the connection within 48 hrs.
                                    8 days were passed, Still I have not got any connection from Airtel.
                                    I called the representative many times, he is not even picking up the call.
                                    I logged a complaint in customer service with Ref. No.: 24263974.
                                    Already myself and my wife are using Airtel postpaid mobile connections.
                                    But its a strange experience from Airtel. I lost my confidence with Airtel.
                                    Now I am really frustrated and fed up.
