My contact number is [protected].

I am a airtel customer since last 2 and a half years. there is a continuos range problem in the area of Virar to Vasai. (Dist: Thane).

There is literally no range or at maximum only one tower on my mobile at home.

I have already complained this several times to cutomer care, but no hopes.

The customer care promised to reesolve the problem in 48 hours. But no action taken.

And to add to the problem, the customer care is sending same email again and again, informing that no action is possible in current situations. (Airtel complaint ref no :[protected])

why did they promise a duration of 48 hours when no immediate action was possible?

I am really tired of this trouble and thinking of switching to another Service provider.

Looking for a final hope from you.

Airtel services has been charging for all the services that have been extended on their own, repeated requests have not yielded any improvements.In my previous complaint i requested them not to provide and charge for any services that have been not asked for.In this complaint I am warning the service provider to stop deduct any money for the services which are not asked for, else, I drag them to court.Job hunt, matrimony, frienship services are being provided and charged recklessly although I have never asked for.

Same here...the range problem is not resolved. To add to frustration Airtel is activating various VAS packs (Cricket pack, hello tunes etc) and charging heavily.

Despite of numerous complaints my Value Added Service is still not Deactivated,
It keeps on deducting 3Rs from my account. I called on 121 says invalid number, then 123 says can’t modify your service at this moment. Then I tried calling the costumer care executive at [protected] I was told that it will get deactivated in 24hr’s but still active, and now if I call [protected] it says to send a SMS ‘AIRTEL’ to 121 I did that to but still no use,
I WANT ALL MY MONEY REFUNDED AND WANT THE “CRICKET” VALUE ADDED SERVICE DACTIVATED AS SOON A POSSIBLE.
Despite sending deactivation SMS(*321*451#)of my Value Added Service, but till date it is not deactivated & I am loosing 5Rs/per day on "Cricket Value Added Service".

I want all my noney back since my first request of deactivation.

i have been using airtel for since 2005 i stay in cuncolim goa. the tower in cuncolim has no generator in case of electricity problem the tower shut down so we dont have coverage till currents are resumed
there is also zero coverage in balli, assonala, aganda and many more areas.

There has been new tower in this area for past 5 years reaming all other operator have theirs in these areas and have good coverage.

I have been giving complains for so may years but no change and no tower in my area.

I hope we have new towers coming up in the areas mentioned above.

About the tower in cuncolim i dont know no lights no coverage please move the tower to a new location we are fed up in my cuncolim village.


please do something about over zero coverage problem

"why they are loosing customer" due to the following reasons
1) they are loosing customer due no network in villages in tal khed dist ratnagiri.(except khed)
2) they are promise to customer we will resolve your problem in 48 hours and not taking action on it.
3) for sms pack and internet pack they planed automatic renew so uneducated person is fed up with this system..
4) increases cost.

so i request to bharti airtel company please increase your tower in villages neither investing so much in promotion activity like cricket and all.
we help airtel company will take action as soon.
you can increase your customer with the help this solution.

    Dear sir,
    I have applied for INTERNET (Broadband) connection vide my application No. SEF No.HY199131 Dated 04.04.2009 under 599 plan. I have paid the required charges of Rs.500/- through crossed cheque No.317530 Dated 04.04.2009 favouring Bharathi Airtel Ltd. The Sales executive Sri Srinivasan informed me taht connection will be provided within 2-3 days.

    But I regret to inform that after persuasion of 15 days I was informed that due to technical no feasibility connection cannot be given, I was forced to cancel my request and requested for refund of the amount paid.

    I also regret to inform that despite my repeated request the amount is not refunded to me. Hence I once again request you to refund the amount with interest immediately and send the DD to the following address; else I will be forced to lodge complaint against the company.

      1. Hello,
      I am an Airtel DTH Services customer . I was not informed of all the charges clearly before subscription that would be levied on me after becoming the customer of Airtel DTH Services.
      I learned about the charges of 100 Rs. per visit by the technician when I called up the customer care after my TV showed a message that it is unable to receive the signal.
      Technician came and he re-aligned the dish antenna after which signal was proper. But, is that my fault, how would the alignment of antenna go wrong automatically? The antenna was not aligned correctly the first time itself.
      The technician unscrewed the alignment bolts, re-aligned the antenna and screwed it again. Which means that the antenna was tightly fixed earlier and that dish was not loosely fitted. Is that for what I will be paying 100 Rs. everytime. Also, I was never told at the time of subscribing that the antenna will automatically get out of alignment and your technician will come to re-align it for which I will have to pay Rs. 100 everytime.
      This is clear customer exploitation. Earlier, when I contact customer care, for 3 times your representative had cut my phone. Is there no value for customer's time which is clearly a mental harassment as well.

      2. Thank you for writing back. It is no more a surprising behavior from Airtel that it is now a stubborn service provider.

      First, your antenna automatically stops receiving the signals, then your engineer comes to re-align and you ask me to pay Rs. 100
      Next time, if it automatically stops receiving signals again, your engineer would visit again and you would ask me to pay Rs. 100. I see, this is a great business model of stealing poor consumers money.

      Second, your customer care calls almost 10 times a day, forcing me to pay Rs. 100 visit charges, inspite of the fact that you have given me a waiver as per your first mail. How much metal stress does it cause me, does Airtel care about it?

      But, if you think that you are the only DTH service provider in India then you can very well take back your instrument and give me privilege of not continuing as your valued customer.

        i jitender malhotra submit a complaint on dated 17-08-09 ,with refernce to Rs 500 deduct from my acc.as per thier offer on last month i have reacive a call from airtel office they tell me offer that for some sepical costumer u have charge 500 rs for two months MOBILE OFFICE i.e(M O) but on last month on dated 13th rs 500 is deduct from my acc.i have complaint.many time from costumer care they also asure me that in 24 hours ur money is back in ur acc.but still it is not , iam comlaint so many time but airtel dose not take any action

            My airtel broadband/landline connection has been dead since[protected]

            I have made many complaints and repeatedl requests to the company to look into the matter. The status of the problem today is still: UNRESOLVED!

            The details are given:

              In spite of not activating bhakti tashan my balance gets deducted.i tried to deactivate this service which i had not activated but the same does not happen...

              i am requesting you to look in this matter and dectivate the bhakti tashan servise and confirm that the servise is permentaly dectivate.
              i try to deactivate bhakti tashan service from my mobile no.[protected] but it is not deactivated till now . i request u to stop this service as early as possible otherwise i am going to dicconnect this airtel no.
              As I have informed to UNSUBSCRIBE Bhakti Tashan on 12.01.2010 once again I have recd. a message
              today(i.e.18.01.2010) as "subscription to Bhakti Tashan will be renewed in 2 days @Rs.20."mobile no.[protected]
              It is painful to the customers of Airtel like me to the message and giving reply for unwanted
              services provided by Airtel. Why could NOT put this type( forcibly implementing) services in consumer forum?

                It took me about i month to cancel a cell no. and now after temprary cancellation of the no. before the current billing cycle, airtel wants to drag the billing cycle till the next 8th statements, so that the actication fee of Rs. 500/- paid at the time of taking the connection gets adjusted.

                I feel they delibrately harrasing their customers.

                Airtel — non refunding of activation fee

                my cell no. is = [protected]. my name is sanjeev. at the time of conection companty offered me the refund of rs.500. from my 4th to 8th [protected]@ rs.100 p.m .they did not do that yet. they tell me that you are not aplicable for that facility as your 4th to 8th bill period is over. I think they are the big cheeter.

                  Sir,

                  I have an airtel mobile post paid connection for almost 2 yrs. I had registered for DND service in May 2008 with airtel. But I still recive these unwanted calls from variious companies like banks, insurance, travel agencies etc etc. Inspite of 3 reminders to airtel they have still not been able to solve my problem, the executives promise each time hat within next 24hrs these calls would stop but they have been unsuccessful in doing so. And now they expect me to give them phone numbers of the callers.............Isnt it their responsibility to make sure that the DND service is implemented? How can they expect the customer to keep record of every call on the phone? We have other things to do other than doing their job for them..............Their customer service is pathetic.

                    The number which I had recieved from airtel on submitting my Identity and Address proof is been issued at someones else's name .

                    This I came to know when I had lost my mobile and went to Airtel Office to block it, They refused to do so as they said that this number and identity proof does not matches. I had been using this number since previous one year.
                    This means that the proof I had submitted for issuance of a new sim must have been issued to another person.
                    Now Airtel is not giving me the old number as proof is not matching.

                    Whose fault it is? Customer or The company? Whose negligence it is. The sufferer is of course the customer.
                    The mobile number is [protected] the sim for which has been lost and it cannot be blocked nor reissued as a new sim.

                    Pls see if something can be done in this case, as Identity mismatching is a serious issue.

                      I had procured a new prepaid Airtel Connection on 19.08.2009 Through a Dealer at Perungudi. The Connection got activated the same day. But from 19.08.2009 night 10.00 pm the mobile itself was not switching on if it was working on the new prepaid connection[protected]. Contacted the Customer Care and was told that the sim card may be damaged. Further the ID proff have to be resubmitted. It was resubmitted on 31.08.2009 at the airtel customer care center at Sasthti Nagar Adyar, Chennai. They issued a duplicate sim and was told that the same will be activated in 48 hours. But even after 96 hours I am getting a message that "SIM REGISTRATION HAS FAILED". The duplicate SIM no is [protected] /[protected]. I expect immediate attention for the activation of my number[protected].

                        I had bought an Airtel HTC magic from a Airtel India in Kerala through its dealer. After buying I found that the phone is restricted from sharing its EDGE GRPS with the PC and its Bluetooth is restricted from data transfer. Also some of the features like gmail/Google Maps are restricted to be installed in this. As a product HTC Magic these was allowed world wide and these restriction has been not communicated to me at the time of the purchase. Now I find the mobile useless as I had paid more than Rs 25000 to buy this product which was supposed to be not a locked mobile.

                        I had purchased an Airtel HTC magic mobile phone.

                        I was shocked to learn that it will not download Maps nor allow me to access Google market for App downloads as specified on the user manual!

                        I spoke to HTC where they informed me that Airtel contracted instruments cannot support these features and that the same instrument sold elsewhere came with these features.

                        We have been with Airtel for the past 8 years. We have 4 landline connections and 15 mobile connections from you. We have been quiet satisfied with your services till now.

                        To be honest, I find what Airtel has done with the HTC Magic as absurd. Why compromise on "maps" on a phone that features GPS. Why allow 100 MB free download if you will not allow APP store access!

                        The package does not make sense atall. you have not only ruined your reputation but have also taken Google and HTC along with you.

                        I do not want the 100 MB free download feature. I do not need the ringngtone down loades either! Please just allow me to use the phone the way I want. I will pay for the download. Kindly restore my phone to its original settings

I got a call about airtel broadband in july by their customer care. they told me about broadband plans. Then i call him to come to my room for connection. he came and i apply for connection by filling a airtel form. After that he told me to give rs. 1100 cash. I gave him 1100 Rs. Cash. after that he told that after 2-4 working days your connection will be established. But now the date is (02/09/2009). and no one come here for connection. I call on customer care regarding this and he told me that "your application is here on 03/07/2009 is Patched. and I am farwording your requst and after 2-3 days you will get your money. but they don't. Please help me to get my money back..

                                By the time I was looking for a Broadband Internet connection, I got a call from an unknown number for "AIRTEL Broadband connection".
                                They were saying lot of things like.. "Special offers for IT people, connection in just two days of time"

                                I decided to go with the connection thinking that I will get the connection in quick time. Also I checked the schemes they had said via phone in the INTERNET and looked to be same. I gave Rs.1000 to the sales rep, they had sent.(Aug-14)

                                When I tried to follow-up, initially they were teling a lot of stories for the delay. And they were giving different numbers, saying that they are higher authority people to procced further.

                                It has been about 20 days, and still have not get the connection still. (Sep-4)
                                they were not answering my phone calls nowadays and I found them to be fake.


                                Here are the various numberspeople I had followed up in past few weeks:
                                [protected] (One who contacted in the inital days, for taking the subscription)
                                [protected] (Sales Rep who collected the money)
                                [protected] (One who followed up about a week, after the subscription)
                                [protected] (head Official in name of George, whom I which I followed up last week. He was talking very professional and said he will address the problem in time)
                                [protected] (Tele-caller in name of Priyadharshini and sometimes Nandini, whom I which I followed up in the last few days. Sep1-4
                                She was saying like their office namely "Vimal InfoCom", 1st floor @ Spencer Plaza)

                                It seems they have a network and I found all of them to be fake.
                                Those mobile numbers are still in use, and they continue to cheat others. I confirmed it by making them call from my friends mobile number as well.

                                Kindly do the needful.

                                    Dear Alll,

                                    I desperatly complaints that many times my money is been deducted for subject service.After bringing this to airtel teams notice twice they rerfunded it, and assured everytime that now this service is de-activated .
                                    But again after three - four days a message from 54321 comes stating that "you have been renewed for bollywood fusion subscription service from airtel.You have been charged Rs. 15/-."

                                    When a person who is using the instruments and service, is not applying for any such service, how can a service provider autoamatically renew any serevice whithout customers consent.

                                    Until now atlest Rs. 60/- have been deducted for this service.
                                    Please advise what shall one do if this scenario keeps on repeating of airtel team.

                                      My land line at chennai[protected] is not working for the last 2 days .I had telephoned at least 5 times your customer service number[protected] but unable to get connected to customer care executive .It is a punishment for me in taking land line from Airtel by surrendering BSNL .BSNL had an exclusive automatic complaint registration number and the procedure was simple and effective I wasted nearly 1 hour in calling your customer service number but could not even lodge a complaint about the faulty telephone.

                                      my land line no: 4395453 is not working since last 3 days, please rectify at the earliest.
                                      I have a land line connection at Gurgaon[protected]

                                      I had called up customer care on 15 AUGUST 2010 informing them that since I am
                                      relocating, I would like to surrender my connection. The cancellation number
                                      was given.Ever since, I have since shifted to Chandigarh with my son.

                                      Strangely, till date this phone has not been disconnected and I continue to be
                                      billed for the same. Repeated calls to your customer care have yielded no
                                      results till date.

                                      Every time an assurance is given that the same will be done immediately and
                                      then nothing happens thereafter.

                                      I have not used this phone after submitting my request and I have the surrender
                                      acceptance number given by you on that date.

                                      I am a 84 years old senior citizen and expect a very courteous consideration
                                      from AIRTEL but the state of affairs is pathetic.

                                      This is to inform you that I haveing a airtel landline as Sy Infocom. My
                                      account No. is 14714383.
                                      This mail is regarding some changes in bill. Which are as follows.

                                      1) In our account there is circuit id is enabled. We want to discontinue this
                                      Circuit Id which is allowed on the no. 43013527/28/29.

                                      2) We have charged 297.5/- as DSL Charges in Jan'11 bill. But we already taken
                                      a unlimited plan of broadband for this account no.

                                      3) On the time of no. activation we have asked for the tarrif which is "1 Rs.
                                      for 3 Minutes on Mobile" But currently 1 Rs. for 3 Minutes on Landline" is
                                      running.

                                      4) Airtel PC Secure is activated on our connection but we have never asked for
                                      this. Please discontinue this service in our next bill.

                                      These are my some urgent queries. Please resolve this issue in our next bill
                                      because there is no meaning to pay for those services which are not using and
                                      you are detecting this amount unusually.

                                      Hi my name is Alok Bhandari. The account name is in my Mother’s name :- Nam Bhandari. The land-line number is[protected]. The experience with Air-tel Broadband connection has not been a pleasant one. I just got switched off to from Bsnl to Airtel because of poor customer service. Fistly, the modem was not working. Then the modem got replaced.
                                      The main crux issue is that My Lanlline number should be in my my mother’s name rather than somebody else Bhanu Prasad Sharma. I receive call at this number asking abt him. I do not understand why did not they give ma new number when I had made the full payment. I cannot make outgoing calls. When contacted customer service department they rather than being honest beat around the bush and try to be diplomatic. Finally they admitted that the connection is in somebody else name and there is some error or confusion. It is highly furstating and irritating. The TAT they have given me is upt to is 30/07/2011.
                                      I would really appreciate if this kind request could be considered and some action could be taken immediately understading the customer’s patience that he is making the full payment yet he at least does not expect this kind of service from airtel.

                                      Airtel Land Line — Repeatededly sending wrong bill & Reminders

                                      We are using two land line nos.[protected] &[protected] of Airtel.
                                      We are also using one broadband connection of which we have been allotted user
                                      ID as koc0069785_ker.
                                      For these two land lines the company had initially given us two account nos.[protected]
                                      & 16323854.
                                      In account no. 16323854 there is still a credit balance of Rs. 250/- and the
                                      same is showing in our self care account on the company's web portal.
                                      The company is now raising all the bills in account no. 16324400 and account no. 16323854 has become non-operative with a credit balance of Rs. 250/-. After every bill received in the past four months we are wrting this to the company and are getting assurance by email that it has been done. But the very next day we will receive a SMS claiming an amount of Rs. 250/- is still payable. We are forwarding here with the latest confirmation from the company dated 01.08.2011 which reads as under:-

                                      Dear Customer,

                                      Ref: Email dated[protected], concern regarding outstanding for your airtel number [protected].

                                      Thank you for writing to airtel.

                                      We would like to inform you that there is an excess balance of Rs.250/- is there with your account and same will be adjusted towards your forthcoming bill. Current ther is no outstanding in your account as per the invoice dated 18/07/2011.

                                      It is our privilege to have you as our valued customer and would like to thank you for your continued patronage.

                                      We look forward to a very warm and fruitful association with you. Please do write in for any further assistance.

On one hand you are replying here itself that you will get in touch with us for further details and acknowledged in the past four times that we do not owe you any money and on the other hand you are regularly sending us SMS's to demand money. Are there more than one Airtel companies?

                                        I received two SMS on 2nd Sept. 2009 stating
                                        1. Thank you for subscribing to Value Pack cricket service, You will receive alerts from tommorrow.
                                        2. Thank you for subscribibg to ELuv pack service. You will receive alerts from tomorrow.

                                        I have not asked for this service, will Airtel stop this service. May I add Airtel is the worst operator I am forced to subscribe to them as I have given this contact No. to many people, I am just waiting for number portability so that I can switch over to some other operator.

                                        I have not opted FRIENDS CHAT SERVICE from AIRTEL for my Prepaid No.[protected]. The company has activated the same without my consent. For this the comapy is debiting Rs.30/per month from May 2010, which I have not noticed till date. I sparingly use the cell Phone. Also I have no technical knowledge on chating and other services. Hence I request you to take up with the company and instruct them to credit the amount (Rs.250/-)in my account.

                                        Airtel — unsolicited services

                                        My mobile number is [protected]. I moved from BSNL to Airtel under MNP. From day one, I am denied incoming calls from any mobile when on roaming. All complaints have gone unanswered. Af Airtel has a licence to bother me with SMS, the Airtel sends not less than 2 SMS everyday about their recharge plans, music, games etc. Without my knowlwdge, they charge me for services that I never asked for or used. When I want them to stop charging me towards gclub (http://gclub.in), there is no way I can unsubscribe. One can only choose a damn dirty plan but one can not get out of it.
                                        I want them to stop all unsolicited calls and SMS from Airtel.
                                        Incoming calls should be allowed when on roaming.
                                        I dont' want to be subscribed or charged for any of the addtional services other than the basic telephone service.

                                        My airtel cell no. is [protected]. They are repeatedly and arbitralily activating ITW BOLLYWOOD SUPERSTARS and charging Rs. 1 per day. Even after sending an SMS to STOP it is once again activated .On the sly the also charge for sending message to stop the service.
                                        Kindly take up the matter with Airtel and ask them to stop tis type of activity as far as the referred cell number.
