Sir, on 10th April 2009 i have given a request for shifting the broadband connection from Gurgaon to Ghaziabad as i got transfer and location changed. Request no not noted down. On the same day i have also requested to disconnect the no from existing address. I have shifted myself and broadband connection on 16.05.2009. After that regular followup done for shifting

On 22nd April one perosn from Ghaziabad Airtel office came and taken Rs. 600/- charge for shifting and after a long followup done the wiring but still the no activation is pending. (Mr. Amit-[protected])

After such a long follow-up neither the connection shifted to Ghaziabad nor the no disconnected fom old address. Also i got bill for period of 23.04.2009 to 22.05.2009 of amount Rs. 1508.00/- (Previous Balance 635.00 for which no bill received and 872.54/- for May month rental. I have tried the no.[protected] for 15 days but couldnt get the no. it always use to be busy.

Without using any internet or phone and after already given request for diconnection the broadband connection, how can i pay the bill.

After such a long followup there is only one way left for me to go for Consumer Court.

Before that i wanted to inform you about my problem, hoping that you'll surely solve my problem.

Kindly look into this matter and resolve the problem. (Before one month for me Airtel was best service provider either in internet and mobile but now i think its becoming worst.)

Airtel — Connectivity And no follow up

I am a PLATINUM member of your network and I shudder to think what service you provide your regular members.

My phone problem has persisited for almost 2 months.
No connectivity despite the bars showing that there is hence no incoming calls
your nodal offficers never picks up calls
kamal picks up the call and has such a bad attitude and of course then disconnects the line.
This entire circus has been going on for over 1 moth
NO REVERTS NO CALLS NO CALL BACKS

appellate Jaspreet hasn't returned calls
Abha Gupta has no time to pick up calls
Kamal Varke talks rudely and disconnects
your followup technical officers well U GUESSED IT RIGHT DON'T FOLLOW UP
so well they are just taking cue from the top


and the poor consumer ...what do they do...just write mails and hope for a follow up

Bharti Airtel, Broadband — False Bill

Dear Sir,

I was a customer of Airtel broadband.
I had an airtel broadband connection with the airtel no[protected].
I had paid all my dues in the month of February, 2009 and then called Airtel Customer care to de-activate my broad band connection(ref requesd id: 198392 dtd 21st february, 2009). Since then I am not using the airtel broadband service but my bill for the consecutive months are being generated by Airtel.
Sevaral times I talked with airtel customer care executive regarding this issue and they told me that I need not to pay anything. I have following request ids with me[protected],[protected].
But from last 10-15 days people from airtel are mentally harrassing me by asking about due amount whereas I don't have any due amount to pay.

Please let me know the legal steps and advice from the Indian Consumer Forum so that I can defend myself from the unwanted harrassments by the Airtel Broadband customer representatives.

Bharti Airtel — False billing

Dear Sir,

I have purchased an airtel data card in 2008. Since August 2009 i am facing a false billing issue. As per my plan of Rs. 599, i'm entitled to 1 GB free usage. But in my monthly bill, i was charged for all the bytes used. Since then i am fighting with Airtel and even lodged a complaint to Appelate authority Ms. Vaishavi, but left in vain. As per the last conversation with airtel, i requested them the monthly bills so that i can show them the fault, but not done untill now. My connection was suspended for not paying my bill in Oct or Nov 2009. Since then i get calls from collection dept. for payment of my bill.

I wonder when a complaint is lodged and no information requested by the customer is provided, how can the collection team make a call to the customer about payment. I have also served a notice from airtel to pay the amount.

I have only one request from airtel. Show my bills monthly bills and i am ready to pay the correct remaining amount (made some payments in between). Kindly request you to resolve the problem.

MY REQUEST for shifting phone no -4273736 is pending for the last 22 days.i have complaint to customer care,nodal officer and appellate authuority.but no responce from any where.

Dear Sir,

I have applied for Airtel Broadband connection here in Satna 2 months back and subsequently i got the connection, now from last 1 month the services of Broadband is worst then ever i have registre my complaint to their customer care number (Bhopal Call Center) 198 so many times and every time i just got the fake committments that my complaint will be resolve within company decided TAT.

I also tried to have words with circle nodel officer Mr. Anil Rai on the telephone number provided by the different customer support executive which is[protected] but i am very surprised that out of 5 to 6 regular calling first the number is ringing and then it simply pass on the message that "This number is busy please call after some time....." now from such kind of response its clearly indicates that number is just a formality for customer nobody are bother about the customer complaints.

Only motive of the company is just to fullfill their target for any defined terretory and after that they will least concern about the customer complaints. Since last one month i got 4 different complaint numbers but not even a single time my complaint has been entertained.

For your ready reference here with i am sharing my complaint number with respective date of complaint.

I am not at all agree with the reply given by Airtel representative, till today nobody from Airtel has visited my home to look after the complaint.

Bharti Airtel — Shifting of Phone

I make a request to shift my AIRETL landline phone on[protected]th July 2011. They promised me that the shifting will be done within 3 days but after 15 days of the request, nobody has contacted me and again they sent the bill for next month also. till date i am waiting positive response from Airtel but other than bill i didn't get anything. Please advise what shoud i do.

    If you could handle the limit of Airtel's customer care and service for Digital TV. Please go for it.
    Extremly well deserved customer care in the world to waste your time with.
    And service for removing the top ups, need to call on limited days. And this top up is also a way to cheat the custemers and earning more money too. In your area, if the cable operator connection quality is good then go for it. Forget about bloody digital TVs. Don;t move yourself into a trap.

    AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Airtel digital TV Service sucks

    If you are going for Airtel Digital service, be prepared for the consequences. Customer care service will ask you to wait for more than 2 hours till the match gets over :-( . Without any valid reason they tell some technical issue. And getting the customer care connection is also a nightmare in the busy hours.

    I have been calling Airtel Digital TV Customer Care no. [protected] since yesterday to change my monthly package from Ultra to Mega. Almost for 25 times I have been made waiting to connect the customer care executive but after almost average of 10-12 minutes no one cares to talk. I have written 2 mails to [protected]@airtel.in since today morning but except an automated email response nothing has happened. It really sucks man. I am compelled to believe that Airtel Digital TV Customer Care has no executive other than automated email response and telephonic voice.

    I would be glad if somebody even by mistake care to respond from the the customer care.
    Sunil Mittal knows only business expansion, and has no sense o[censored]pdating his service in terms of customer satisfaction.

    Iam preeti yeri fed up of airtel digi tvs call centre's procedure n their installation team.
    They took 10 days time to just rectify the change of adress n now when that is done, the team has installed our antenna to the window grill without considering the wind pressure, they r only brothered about the signal.AIRTEL TV does not inspect the site prior, they just come see the angle n install it.with out considering anyother details.
    They even do not have different means of tools, like different types of rods, clamps etc for installation, they use same 3 rods everywhere.
    If the customer does not get permission on terrace they do not have any other means of tools so that it can be fitted somewhere on the wall by tilting n twisting the rod, so that proper signal can be adopted.By this they will loose their customer who ultimately say no to the tv n opt for the one which is avaible in the society.
    My antenna is at risk of falling any time due to wind pressure, which they r not rectifying since more than 15 days saying no where else signal is avaible.Can they not bring different of rods with different angles so that we get signal.I will held airtel digi tv responsible if some accident occur for not considering wind pressure properly.

    AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — No transmission since last 9 days

    installed under the Samsung LCD Offer at my residence 312 D.D.A Flats,Khirki,Malviya Nagar, New Delhi-17 on 13/09/09. Firstly the connection was registered in the wrong name & address. Secondly the package was wrongly registed coz of which midnight 21/09/09 the telecast went off. I registered a complained on 22/09/09 & was commited by the customer care executive that the same would be resolved in 48 Hours. Even after 72 hours when the problem was not resolved I called up the Customer Care again & was requested to give another 24 hrs. It's almost been 9 days now and the problem has not been resolved till date.indly intervene in the matter & take necessary action at the earliest or else i would be forced to take some strangent steps against the organisation.

    Airtel digital has a customer care.

    Nobody cares to respond. Its completely frustrating. They only have time to call other prospective customers day n night and not even bother to think of existing ones...
    Absolutely useless company for digital tv. I have been calling them many times. every time I am told someone will contact me. No one calls me. On top of it they send me sms asking if I am satisfied with the service. even I type unsatisfied noone calls me. I have not seen a more useless incompetent and pathetic organization. Better close shop and do something else.
    if it rains for two minutes, signal off...during Monsoon shut off your TV if you are on airtel digital tv
    Airtel Digital Service Sucks Big Time -

    I am an extremely disappointed and tortured with the customer support provided by Airtel Digital TV during relocation of the connection to my new address. It has not happened for almost 2 weeks.

    I think I did biggest mistake by going with Airtel Digital TV and I recommend each and everyone who reads this forum to go with Doordarshan but not Airtel Digital TV. The most pathetic service anyone can imagine.

    The customer care people can hardly communicate with their IQ close to ZERO.

    Their processes for relocation are extremely impractical with tonnes of loop-holes for the engineers to play around and manipulate the system. It causes extreme inconvenience to customers.

    I went to the extent of finding the Head for Service Delivery on LinkedIn and sending him a message for help... but...

    In case, if anyone at Airtel Digital TV is hearing the voice of customers, the request #s I have lodged are 6522033 and 6358320 to be looked into.

    Truly Airtel's HR Director Krish Shanker has his task cut out. Somebody called me a short while ago and tells me whenever there is inclement weather to call them and their engineer would come and do the needful! Either they dont believe me or they dont have a mechanism at their end which tells them that the transmission has stopped at our end.

    Also their misleading mobile alerts about my balance status would continue to come. They can't stop it. Only way to stop these alerts is to maintain a balance of Rs. 60/- at all times.

    This basically comes down to maintain alerts or we'll make your life hell with mobile alerts! How interesting.

    last 5 days i am trying to add a top up (which suddenly stop working and i was told it will be free for 3 months), and all my efforts are in vain. it does not work via SMS, it does not work online. and if by grace of God, Customer care executive will pick your call ( after waiting for 10 minutes), then they say sorry our system is not working., please call after sometime.

    it is really sucking, i am moving out of it.
    Yesterday there was again signal problems but to may amazement that chap's phone was switched off...well not be much amazement though...yes, we too are bidding goodbye to M/s Airtel shortly...
    Hi - I have airtel digital tv connection. I added a request with Airtel to add "Movies Now" channel to my package. The customer care mentioned that to add this channel, my dish antenna has to be realigned. They took a request and there was no response from airtel engineers thereafter. I then repeated calls for a period of 2 weeks and finally a engineer came and realigned the antenna. In the process, the engineer charged me saying that the tranponder is very old and needs to be replaced. Not sure how a transponder could go all of a sudden when I was able to see the channels without any difficulty. Anyways they fixed the new transponder, realigned the dish antenna and I was able to watch the "Movies Now" channel.

    After few days, I started having another problem. Some of the channels such as Zee studio, Movies Now, PIX, MTV, V channel, Star Cricket were having broken signal quite often (The picture and sound was something similar to when u run a scratched DVD). I called the customer care and gave my compliant on April 15. There was no response from them. I then called them again on April 23rd, they recorded a fresh compliant and promised me that they will send someone the same day. I got no response. I called them again on 26th and this time I escalated the call to a supervisor and he promised to send someone by 6PM the same day. But again I got no response. I called the customer care again on May 12th and spoke to the supervisor again. Explained them the whole problem. They promised me the same nonsense again, but I still see no action being taken.

    Basically I am paying Rs 330 odd to subsribe my fav channels and I am unable to view them since the reception is not clear. I have spent many hours talking to this airtel customercare and even if their engineers had spent 10% of that effort in fixing my problem, I would have had my problem fixed long back.

    I was previously owning "Zee's DishtV" set. I was not happy with their service and that is the reason I switched to airtel. Honestly Airtel's digital TV service is even more pathetic. A horrible experience so far. The best part is once a compliant is lodged they dont even follow-up with the customer to check if the problem was resolved. Everytime it is me who calls them up and explains the problem. More irritating part is the customer care puts you on hold for a long time, in some cases the line gets disconnected and I have to start all over from the begining and wait for a long time in the queue.

    I have airtel mobile connection and broadband connection. I should say I had decent experience with their service and that was the reason I chose to switch from "Zee's dishtv" to Airtel Digital TV. Sadly their service has detiorated so pathetically that I cant recommend airtel to anyone anymore. My brother has Tata sky and he seems to have a decent experience so far. If the current problem continues, I have made a decision to switch to Tata Sky. To hell with Airtel's service. If they happen to see this compliant, the customer id is [protected] and hoping that some action will be taken.
    IT IS INDEED THE WORST I GUESS. I AM THINKING OF SHARING INFORMATION WITH THE ENTIRE FRATERNITY. THEIR BILLING MECHANISM IS JUST PERFECT. ONCE YOUR BALANCE GETS NEGATIVE THEY DONT EVEN CARE TO INTIMATE THE CUSTOMER BY A COURTESY CALL AND IMMEDIATELY DISCONNECT THE LINE AND THIS APPLIES TO AIRTEL MOBILE POST PAID CUSTOMERS OF MORE THAN 7 YEARS LIKE US. THEY DONT CARE TO FIND OUT BEFORE DISCONNECTING THAT THE CUSTOMER IS OUT OF STATION OR NOT FOR WHICH HE MAY HAVE FAILED TO RECHARGE.

    YET WHEN IT COMES TO SERVICE, MANY CHANNELS TRANSMISSION QUALITY IS POOR. SUPPORT PICKS UP THE PHONE ON THE AVERAGE ON 25% OCCASIONS, THAT TOO AFTER AN AVERAGE WAIT PERIOD OF 5 MINUTES.

    THOSE WHO ATTEND CALLS HAVE HEAVY NORTH INDIAN ACCENT AND NEITHER THEY UNDERSTAND CLEARLY WHAT THE CALLER SAYS NOR ARE ABLE TO SPEAK IN DECIPHERABLE ENGLISH.

    Dish TV — Customer care sucks

    Dish TV customer care is actually a customer harassing center.Their quality is very poor and all the executives are pathetic.
    They don't know anything and I was surprised that one of their executive had never visited their company's website and I had to guide him about the problems in their website.
    PLEASE AVOID AIRTEL DIGITAL. THEY ARE BIG TIME CHEATS. IF THERE IS LITTLE RAIN, SIGNAL GOES OFF. THEN THEY SAY THEY ARE GOING TO SEND THEIR "ENGINEER" AND THAT RS. 100/- EVERY TIME HE VISITS. THIS IS A BIG BUSINESS BY THEM TO MAKE RECURRING MONEY.

    PLEASE DO NOT GO FOR AIRTEL DIGITAL IF YOU ARE INTERESTED TO WATCH YOUR IPL MATCHES REGULARLY.

      dear sir/madam,

      mere pass airtel std pco ki 14 line hai. mai airtel std pco ki sabhi 14 line 1 year se chala
      raha hu. line lete samay maine sabhi documents apne name ka hi submit kiya tha.
      airtel ki taraf se verification bhi huva. uske bad airtel ki company lower parel me problem huva uske bad bhi maine documents submit kiya. verification bhi huva .
      maine 2 bar documents submit kiya or 2 bar verification bhi huva. lekin date:- 28/05/09 se 02/06/09 tak meri sabhi line close kar di gayi. 6 days tak meri line in logo ne band rakhi. na hi koi notice diya na hi koi call kiya. distributer ko bhi ye logo ne kuchh bataya bhi nahi.
      maine bar bar inke help line no. 12144 per call kiya. to mujhe bataya gaya ki aap ko phir se
      documents submit karna padega. VAH BHI KISI OR KE NAME KA.
      ab std pco mera or mai kisi or ka documents kaise submit kar sakta hu. maine in logo ki
      bate apne MOBILE par record kiya hu.
      kya mai is per koi case kar sakta hu. mera ji 6 days ka loss huva kya vah mujhe mil sakta hai. THANKS.

        AirTel Digital TV and AirTel Digital Interactive TV are not offering some of the medatory channels of DD Direct+. Like DD Gujarati, DD GyanDarshan-2, Vyas TV and FM Services Channels of All India Radio. I was planning to buy it, but dropped the idea after looking at Channel list and found that above mentioned channels are not there. I informed them many times, but they are not including these channels. Once they told me that could come in TopUps. Why should one pay for the free channels which is the part of DD Direct+?
        I would say that whoever baught AirTel's these services are blind and they don't know the details about these services.

          I seem to be facing the same problem with the 54542 service. I can't find a way to unsubscribe it and it continues to send me sms and deducts Rs1. Hope you will see to it. Rather than providing a service, it seems to be becoming a nuisance for the customers.

          daily i am receiving sms from 54542 and i havent subscibed on that.i am loosing everyday 1rs in my mobile balance.now i am using airtels international roaming service.So please unsubscribe my number from that and avoid the sending of sms without the acceptance from the customers.

YESTERDAY AND TODAY WHEN I TALKED TO [protected] NUMBER THE PERSON WHO CAME ON LINE TOLD ME THAT FROM TOMORROW I WILL NOT FACE THE PROBLEM AND THEY GAVE ME CREATE OF RS. 10/- AND RS. 2/- FOR THE EARLIER DAYS.

          MORE THAN ANYTHING I NEED A PERMANENT SOLUTION AND IT SHOULD NOT REPEAT.

Earlier past 4 months this call came from 54542. I sent Deactivate message several times after 2 weeks The same Slogan comes from[protected] instead of 54542.             i had taken broadband connection from the trishul communication franchisee of airtel in salt lake city kolkata and they did not issue a receipt for the money taken as deposit.thereafter they provided an ineternet connection but the phone was not installed even after repeated requests to the local customer care centre and theie office.the receipt was also not given on the pretext that they were out of stock of receipt.i feel that this is a complete negligence on the part of the management to handle a basic necessity of a consumer.till date i have not received the receipt or the phone handset.

              IMIE no ([protected])of this phone was verified by your customer service & 53232 service providers...
              According to them there should be two IMIE numbers for double Sim mobile phone but you are very much aware that practically that is not possible & goverment has not issued such type of order...
              My double Sim-Simoco-SM-1100 mobile phone is complete indian made with all necessary details...

                exorbitant billing is done, even after registering for e-billing & calling up airtel helpline numbers for getting the bill is just like finding a needle in a haystock.evey time i am getting a recorded reply via sms & over phone it will be done in another 72 hrs time. Even after waiting for that much of time it is not being done,again if we were to complain them they will start asking for the details from the begining which will be of no use.The same thing is happening for 4 connections.

                  Hi,
                  I am using the Airtel prepaid connection from past 5 years.
                  On Saturday, 13/6/2009 one person called me up and said that, i[censored] want to continue with the same connection, , you need to submit some documents like Address Proof and ID Proof for verification purpose. He also mentioned that, he will send a Person near my home/office premises on Monday.
                  But, nobody turned up. Even I tried to call the same number, it was not answerable and switched off sometimes.

                  On Wednesday, 17/06/09 by 2 PM, I recieved an SMS Saying outgoing will be barred. I immediately called up the Airtel Customer care(121) and mentioned the same. He said that, you nee to submit the documents at any near by Airtel Relationship Centre immediately. As my office is in Whitefioled, bangalore and there is no near by Airtel centre, he told, will extend the time till Saturday or at least tomorrow morning. But, immediately after I disconnect the call with them, all my Incoming as well as Outgoing calls were barred. Even I m unable to call Cust care also.
                  If the SMS Says outgoing will be barred then "Why Incoming is also barred". I had a meeting with US Client on the same day evening. I mailed them in the same day morning to conference me on the same number. But, all these made me not attend the meeting and many things happened in my office. And also the recorded voice message says " The Airtel Customer has barred the calls ", Is that right ? Did I do barring or did Airtel done it ?

                  Finally, on Friday I had all these discussion with the Airtel Relation ship centre in Banashankari 3rd Stage, Bangalore centre and I Submitted all my supporting documents also. And, they told within 48 hours your connection will get activated. It happened Sturday, sunday, monday, tuesday, still not done.
                  When called up Cust care from some other mobile they are saying Saturday and sunday are not working Days.

                  Will they do Activate my connction ??? Again

                  I walked down to Banashankari 3rd Stage Centre again on Wednesday. The centre itswelf was not open. I waited for long long time and just returned to my office. Next time, when I called Customer Care, they are saying "NOT RECEIVED THE DOCUMENT PROOF". which I submitted a week ago. Whats really going on, I don;'t know. I have to follow up you guys, whether you are doing work or not. But, no communication happening from your side, which is very worst
                  finally, after a lot of follow ups with the Airtel people yesterday and reminding them by giving a lot of calls, my service was activated, which is worst than ever expected. I missed out a lot of SMS's and incoming calls which I was expecting, in the last 15 days, becoz o[censored]navailability of your service. Sending a courier/post in bangalore will take maximum of 1 day service. but, After i submitted the documents, i have to follow up on the same to re-send the doucments to reach to the Head Office. If, I didnot followed means, then still there was a delay in service...

                    I had done the payment of my Airtel postpaid mobile [protected] on 17th June, 2009 via mobile number [protected]. Even after 5 days, I have still not received the NOC Settlement Letter from Airtel which I was promised on the day of the payment itself. This is sheer misbehaviour on the part of Airtel and I want a serious action to be taken against them.

                    The Airtel contact person was calling from Chandigarh. His name is Praveen and his mobile number is: [protected]. Also the number that he used to call me was: [protected]

                    These people call us and make our life miserable when they need the payment. But after we make the payment, they do not acknowledge and play fraud by calling again. I have no proff of payment until the NOC letter is e-mailed to me from airtel. These people should be put behind the bars.

                      BEWARE OF AIR TEL RECHARGE !
                      I had a very bad experience on 21st May 2009 at Mysore while recharging my airtel mobiles. I was advised by the Aietel agent near Lalith Mahal, that full talk time available if I paid Rs200/- I gave the numbers of my two Airtel mobiles and paid Rs400/- to E-recharge each phone with Rs200/- which had an offer, full talk time, as advised by the Airtel Agent.
                      To my surprise I received a message from Airtel that my Airtel numbers were credited with Rs46-51 each as talk time against a payment of Rs200/- The agent too was surprised and asked me any other Airtel number was available at Tamilnadu and there by he would send another message to Airtel to credit the mobile at Tamilnadu with Rs400/- by canceling the original credits to my mobiles. He further said that within 48 hours the transactions would be finished.
                      On 23rd I lodged a complaint with Airtel by email and the authorities were positive in giving replies and assured that the matter would be resolved in a couple of days. Like that they prolonged for nearly a month and finally furnished a negative reply stating that the offer was not valid for my mobile phone !
                      Then, how their agent could mislead me ? Is it not the responsibility of the Principal to ratify the mistakes of his agent ? Is depriving the customer by 75.75% By Airtel is approved by the government ?
                      Are you an Airtel customer ? Please ensure that you have enough balance before you step out of Tamilnadu to avoid this kind of daylight looting by the company.

                      It is shameful that a leading mobile service provider M/S Airtel is exploiting the customers. The amount should be refunded to the customer as there is no justification in collecting Rs200/- and allowing only Rs46/- as talk time. Concerned ministry should take appropriate action against the company in this regard. It is not sufficient if Air Tel gives a soothing reply without refunding the amount. It should see that the refund is made immediately and a reply is furnished by the customer on line to that effect.
                      AIR TEL IS NOT SINCERE IN REFUNDING. I HAVE FURNISHED ALL DETAILS AND THEY ARE YET TO RESOLVE MY COMPLAINT.

                      WHO WILL TAKE A STRONG ACTION AGAINST THE COMPANY ? WILL THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT HELP CUSTOMERS LIKE ME ? A MILLION DOLLAR QUESTION INDEED.

                      Air tel is yet to redress my online complaint dated[protected]. What is the use of sending online complaints? Air tel is just not bothered to redress the customer's grievances. The amount involved may be negligible for the company but is a good part of hard earned money of the customer which the company is enjoying ! The company may influence the Government / media / political parties and not the customers. I am sure that this trend of any company for that matter would have a cancerous growth and would be beyond repair.

                        My self a consumer of Airtel Landline connection with broadband facility combo offer having no[protected]. I am earlier residing in Housing Board Cly in sec 21 D Faridabad, now I am shifted to 1103 Sec 21 D Faridabad. I have submitted a request for shifting on call centre of Airtel on 30.05.2009 vide request no 231899, 15 June vide no 20926550, 15 june vide no 20926620 and many more which i cann't remember.

                        On first request I have told from the representative that in next 6 days your request will be answered but no one turned up. Subsequently, every time I called to call centre, I am told that there shall be a visit which is due from technical team after that the connection will be shifted to new address. After a long time from my first request with regular follow up, finally i have got a call and got information that the same is not possible as our home is 400 meters away from the nearest installation. But at the same time I have requested that pl explore the possibilities for installation as I am your regular paying consumer without any late payment charges for the last 5-6 years. But they replied it is very difficult, one thing you can do is: pl go to the nearest AIRTEL landline office, they can clarify better.

                        At last, in a very embarrassing situation, I have requested for disconnection of services as AIRTEL shown no interest.

                        As a last step, on friday 19.06.2009, I went to Airtel Landline Office located at NH 5, near Blue dart Courier service. I have explained my concern and requested for any possibility of installation. But the lady there haven't shown any interest for continuing the AIRTEL services to us inspite of this I have requested for the status of connectivity in my area (such as upto how much House nos of the same sector/ nearby colony the airtel connection is there) or if i can talk to the local technical person if you donot have complete information. The lady is least bothered and asking there is no possibility I hav tell you.

                        But during my visit, I have seen that nearby colony adjcent to our sector hav connectivity which is approx 100 meters

                        So can I get the connection or not
                        I request AIRTEL Pl depute some technical person for visit again and meet us or customer will first suffer and no result after that.

                        Airtel — Phoen line shifting blues

                        Hi,

                        I had asked for shifting of my phone line on 2nd August 2009 from Maratahhali to Kormangala.
                        The date given to me to resolve the issue was 9th August 2009, 4:30 pm.

                        The issue has not been resolved yet. I am tired of following it up through their Customer Care who give me the response as it's in progress with no dates now as to when it would be resolved.

                        This is hurting me, as I am without network (for the past 5 days) and it effects my work and my company directly.

                        Hi, I have shifted from Delhi to Ghaziabad on 15th July 2009.
                        I called Airtel to transfer my internet connection + Fixed line Phone on 14th July.
                        I was told that it will take 4 working days.
                        After that I have been following up regularly but till date it has not been shifted.
                        First it takes very long to get to that dept .to talk to some one for this and secondly some times they disconnects..
                        So in a nutshell I am completly dissatisfied customer of Airtel and I would say that if it would have been in my hands I would have shut down the Airtel company, they are simply pathetic service providers.
                        Sunil Mittal does not know what they do and how badly the customer services reps talk to.
                        On 19 th July I called and they said it takes 7 working days and not 4, so contradictory statements, and now its 7 working daya are also over, now what?
                        I am badly in need of internet but airtel sucks, so I have decided if within 2 days if I dont get any satisfactory answer from them I will go for Tata indicom or reliance service and no relation with Airtel in future.

Is there any sound person in Airtel who can tell me what is happening with my request for shifting the connection and how longer it would take, so that I can make up mind to disconnect the connection and get a new one.

                          I am facing call drop issue while at home. I logged a call with Airtel on 25 Jan 2009 and the call number is 20401568. Engineer visited in february from their end and checked the signal strength.

                          After that I called them many times on customer care but they are not providing the any update or solution for this porblem. I am still facing the same problem.

                            I made a recharge for Mobile no [protected] of Rs 500 on 3 jun from my citibank credit card through internet banking which was successful but the amount did not credited to the mobile then i tried again for Rs 300 it also got successful and the amount this time got credited.

                            But in my monthly credit card statement i was charged for both the transactions whereas only Rs 300 amount was credited and not the Rs 500 amount.

                            I made complaint on both ends citibank and airtel but citibank people said airtel have claimed for 500 Rs amount dats why they have charged me in the credit card statement.
                            Airtel Customer Exec told me to go the Airtel Shop where i need to show the Credit card statement and Airtel complaint no . and they will refund the amount or will credit it to my mobile. But actually they just refused to do that and just put a complaint again.

                            So despite me complaining to the Airtel Customer Care arnd 10 times .they have not still credited the amount.

                            Every time they say they will resolve the matter in 24 hrs time but actually they do nothing they are just fooling the customers

[protected] from my another connection, its amazing caller tune get started automatically and after few mintues one girl has picked the phone, she is from KARTARPUR (DISTT Jalandhar) Punjab and told me as she has brought this number by paying Rs. 100.00 as new connection, its shocking to me, how could all this happen, this is my life long number and i'm using from last 5 years and AIRTEL has given to another person, i wants my number back immediatley as its spoiling my market values and image.                                   my prepaid mobile no.[protected] is found missing from 13/10/2009. he same could not be traced till now. it is learnt that mobile might be with some one. please block the sim to avoid mis-use. if found taced it may be returned to me as it has valuable number for my use.

                                  AirTel — Prepaid card blocked

                                  I have taken an airtel prepaid card ([protected]). After one month my outgoing was blocked and finally the sim got blocked. Inspite of resubmitting the documents, and escalating the issue to the next levels, I couldnt retain the number. Thanks to Airtel, I lost a job offer.

                                    Hi,

                                    I am staying in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. I have an airtel mobile connection. The network signal is very poor inside my apartment and even other apartments in Indirapuram. Airtel has done nothing about it even after so many complaints that me and my friends have made.

                                    This is correct. Airtel has a very poor coverage in Indirapuram. I have also called their helpdesk several times and have informed them about it but they have not done anything.

                                    I am also staying in Indirapuram and it is impossible to stay connected for more than 5 minutes on my Phone. This is not an issue with my phone as I have two Airtel Connections and both have same problem
                                    sir i have a airtel connection
                                    there is frequent call drops
                                    you can not hear the other persons voice or vice avarsa
                                    the signal goes on and off
                                    if you go to there galary nobody is ready to take complain in writing also
                                    either there server is down or they are nit autorise
                                    they should listen to the complain and try to rectify it
                                    i am from mumbai
                                    Airtel signal are really very poor in Indrapuram region.My family had already cancelled one connection and one more I am going to cancel.
                                    NO USE OF COMPLAINING ABOUT THIS TO AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE.I ALREADY TRIED 100 TIMES.
                                    Vodafone is better than Airtel in terms of signal strength but it too have some problems many times.
                                    Can any one please suggest which Operator provides good signal here at Indrapuram area.

                                      office thru Speed Post in 22th March and when I got confirmation regarding it from, HRActiv.[protected]@Airtel.in. they informed that they have did't Recived form yet
                                      but as per speed post delivery status my pf withdrawal form has been deliverd on 26th march.
