I would like to draw your attention regarding the fraud call which came to my airtel number. It was from Dubai and they said they are from international office of AIRTEL. Their number was [protected] and they informed about a lottery which I won worth 10 lakhs.The person tried to ask me my PNB account number and further my address.It was really shocking for me when the customer care executive of AIRTEL told me that there is no such office of AIRTEL in Dubai.

This is a shameful act done .I as user of AIRTEL request you to take some action against this so that in future this happens to nobody else

I have been using my Airtel Mob. no.[protected] for last 1 year under life time facilities ,even after taking tariff plans to changed my existing call rate no changes take place i have been complaining abt the same to airtel serv. centres call centres many times but no response received yet hence bearing financial losses

Airtel — Cheating act by Airtel Executive

Dear sir,

An Airtel Executive (Name=Pradeep, phone number = [protected]) came to my office and told that there is a scheme under which National roaming will be Free between two CUG simcards applied by the same person.

I asked him "one sim card is going to be in Bangalore, and one is going be in Chennai (I reside in chennai). Will there be any roaming charges if calls are dialled between these two sim cards?"

I asked this question almost 15 times in a month whenever I observed the 'increasing bill' online. He kept on saying "No problem. there will be no roaming charges. It will not reflect in your actual bill."

Now the bill came including the rental charges. He is not attending the calls now. I have already filed a complaint in Airtel. But they told they cant do any justice to me (callcentre executive I spoke with is 'Ramani') .

my sim card is not supporting internet on my pc, it shows some ppp link error, please tell me how to resolve this problem
Such hoax calls are being received regularly. They pretend to be fromAirtel Headquarters Dubai and will ask for Dish Tv IOTZ cards ranging from 9000/- to 9250/- stating that the subscriber has won Rs.10 lac prize and to release the lock they need the money.. I being a dealer of Dish tv advise all such persons to ignore the call and rather lodge the police complaint. Well Spread the message and in case it is possible to register police complaint, then pl. do it.

I know somebody from my contacts who has lost Rs. 40000 to these cheats. He was lured by a huge amount of Rs.10 Lacs. He paid Rs.8350 for some Platinum Card and then Rs. 20000 as Tax for releasing the money and another Rs. 13000 for some blaw blaw... These guys will tell you a new story all the time and will swear of their children that they have the amount lying with them which is ready to go in your account after you pay them the required money. They ask the payment to be made through the DISH tv ITZ cards. Surprisingly these cards are consumed within 10 minutes of reveal of the number of that card to these culprits. Since the calls are made from an international number, it is not possible to trace these people.
My sincere advice is to keep away from these people, they will show you a lot of money but you will get nothing but lose your hard earned money.
I had a missed call from some unknown number today.When I called back at this number, I came to that It was from Dubai and the caller said that he is calling from Dubai AIRTEL office. The number was [protected] and they informed about the lottery which I won worth 10 lakhs.The person asked me to give my account number so as to transfer money of Rs.10 lakhs.
He also said that around 135 Airtel number won this lottery.This call deducted Rupees 28 from my balance in mobile.When I called to Airtel Customer Care, they said there is no such office in Dubai.I was shocked that how someone got my airtel number and trying to hack my personal account number.

I requested the Airtel to take strict action against this number user mentioned above.As the company is such abig brand in India and there is no security check for the customers.
Also I got a fraud message once in my Inbox that is from TM-GUINNESS, the message is Congratulations!! your personal cell number have won a prize money of 700, 000.00 British Pounds for the Splash Promotion organised by Guinness Organistaion. Contact our fudiciary agent in England via e-mail for the claim of the prize money.E-mail:[protected]@hotmail.com, Tel:[protected]
Airtel should not transfer these messages from the unknown users and operators as it wastes resources, time and money.The sender or the caller should be caught red-handed.

I too recieved the same call today Aug 12th. I have denied listneing their full story and shut-up.
I have received a call from [protected] an ISD no. may be of Dubai He told me, his name as RAMESH and asked me to call back as i have won some prize from AIRTEL.So i made him a call back, then he asked me-my name and address - i gave him the information -then he told that i have won a prize of 10 lacs of rupess .
I thought may be it is true. then he asked me to make another call to [protected]. but i didnt make a further call, thought to ask customer care or to search on internet of any such offer then i came accross of this website, so i also posted my comment. i have been charges around 10/min when make him a call. i really cried alot bcoz of loss of my airtel balance on such a stupid thing.
This is such a ridiculous things, people have touched the baseness, they making fool of innocent people. be careful every one. AIRTEL please take some necessary actions

i guess it is easy to get dubai sims in india because now that i think of it that crook who cheated my money was indian for sure and not an arab...
I got a call from the number [protected], saying that i have won Rs 25 lacs in Airtel Lottery. I knew from the very begining that this is a false call and somebody is trying to fool me. I screwed him up over the phone only and to my guess I was right I was a false call to extract money from me.

Just we aware of such persons asking for details. If possible make aware to your friends.
I just got a call from[protected], he said, I have won a Airtel lottery of 10 lakhs.. I said shut up and keep the phone. Though I never knew about this site, it was common sense after all. Why would any company give 10 lakh just like that?? be it Airtel or any gaint for that matter? If so, it would advertise everywhere by now.

I received a call from [protected] and they told me that i won rs. 25 lakhs...then they told me to call on [protected] to get further details...but after reading all the above comments i got to know that ther are fraud...
I am getting call from [protected] - Amit and told me that you won rs. 10 lakhs ... for further inquiry please talk to MR. Rahul Sharma [protected]. While making further inquiry Rahul Sharma told that purchase Dish TV coupen of Rs. 11800 from your nearest dealer so that you will get one secret no. and pass on to me. There after 3 representativs of Airtel will come to your resident and they will deliver voucher of Rs. 10 Lakhs after certain verification.
RS told that switch off your mobile and don't tell this matter to any body else... it is secret from airtel office.

Kindly help us what to do. ..in this circumtancy because i can not switch off the phone... for receiving my normal call.

I going to put up the case file against airtel telecommunication in consumer forums, i lost my 10, 000 Rs today and surprisingly the dish TV coupon i bought is useless within half an hour, How the hell these Pakistanis are making money from a Dish TV recharge coupon.These numbers are from Pakistan "+92" or "0092" is Pakistan's country code. I can see so many people getting this kind of false call in airtel mobile only, So the moral responsibility goes to this Telecom industry either they take necessary steps or face the jurisdiction in consumer court. Airtel Telecom colud send a SMS or warning through customer care centers regarding to this fake calls but they did nothing. I even called up so many times to the Airtel excutive officer but no one picked my phone.


I have already complained(FIR against airtel telecom) in the police station and tomorrow i am going to consumer forum and mailing a copy of FIR to various news channel as well as local news papers also . Airtel will pay for the ignorance to their customers. It's almost 100 days when the first comment is posted here and airtel is still sleeping.



Let's see if i can bring Airtel into my toes and lick it as well.
Please note the point that only the airtel customers are having these fraud calls.these culprits can ask your home address, license card details, bank account numbers even your pan card number, as they asked these details from me.I request every one who read my message to beware of these Pakistani stupid [censored] frauds.I don't need to tell what is Pakistan? I recieve a call from[protected] on 18/10/09 he told me that he is calling from mumbai, representative of bharti airtel, informing me about winning a lottary of 10 lakhs on the occassion of diwali, he told me to purchase coupon of dish [protected]@10000...i dont know how come they trace our no...its really a serious matter...not only personal but also threat to the national security...AIRTEL must take it seriously...

Today I received call from [protected]. The caller says you got the prize of 25 lakhs from airtel luky number draw.
The amount will be deposited to ur SBI account number. For these he ask for the coupens and send the coupens number to him.

I received a call from a no. [protected] at 10.20 AM on 05.12.2009. That time I couldnt pick up, seeing a new no., I called back. The person on the other hand introduced himself as some Mr. Ramesh from Airtel Headoffice mumbai and told me that I have won Rs. 25 Lakhs prize and also gave me a no. [protected] to contact one supervisor named Ram Singh for claiming the prize. I contacted on the no. but it was one lady from calcutta. Once again I called on the first no, this time he started his conversation with "Salam Walekum". I got suspicious and then I called customer care executive of airtel at 11:11 A.M and registered my complaint there. The Customer Care executive told me that if I got any call of this type, i should lodge a complaint to the Local Police as well. I request the telecommunication communication companies particularly Airtel to restrict these kind of fraud calls as it troubles the people a lot and it should not happen to anybody else further.
i got similar cal from a man called ravi verma who told me to cal vijay kumar sr supervisor [protected]. 25lacs is a joke but am sure mad at airtel and how they are letting phöney people disturb and spoil their customers peace on a sunday afternoon. Someone wake up. Please.

This is comletely true...
I lost Rs. 5000 to these culprits. Was about to loose another Rs 10, 000 but all thanks to the shopkeeper who informed me about this fraud.
As soon as the shopkeeper told me i rushed to the police station and loged a complaint. The only thing that concerns me is the misuse of my voters id no. that i provided them as an identity proof. they are so convincing that you dont get to know anything and moreover they tell you to maintain full secrecy so that noone comes to know about your lottery. its bad.I've had a very bad experience and i hope that they get caught as soon as possible.
Its just a disgrace on how stupid we become by someone who is more stupid than us.
Airtel must take an action or else people will loose on their hard earned money to such convincing frauds.

A similar incident occured with me today. Around 15min back i got a missed call. It was a no. starting with[protected] so without thinking much i made a call back expecting someone known to me. The caller however said that he was from Dubai and I have won a prize of 25lac from airtel lucky draw. He gave me another number [protected] of Mr Raj Singhania, the senior supervisor out there and to collect the details where to recieve the money. However on my friends suggestion i called the airtel customer care where i was told to contact the airtel office nearby to validate the no. Then i searched for the country code of 92 and it was of Pakistan. Then I came of this website & i was saved although i lost 30 Rs of my balance for this stupid call.

I got a call from a number saying that he is calling from Airtel head Office and I have won sum of Rs 25 lakhs, the person told me his identity as Kiran Kumar and his Number was - [protected]. He asked me to call Mr. Sanjay Verma (as MD of Bharti Airtel ) and his number is [protected]. I called at the no. of Mr. Sanjay Verma. He told me that i have won Rs. 25 Lakhs asking me details of my account no. in which i want the amount. I told him the account no. and then he asked me the Identity Card no. I provided him with the same.
Then he provided me with the Lottery No. as 444000. and asked me to purchase DISHTV Vouchers worth Rs 15700, only those which Have SHARUKH KHAN Photo on it, and saying that i have to give him the voucher No. right now on the phone Call. I Refused that its not possible for me to give you the no. right now and it will take me half and hour.

Then he asked me to switch off my Phone for half an hour and donot disclose this matter to anyone because of secrecy.

I called up the Customer Care of Airtel and asked them whether such gifts are really being given to customers. They refused and said these are Fake calls Coming from Pakistan and Dubai.

Then again i got a call from the Number saying that you talked to Mr Sanjay Verma and he asked you to switch off your phone and then I screwed him up over the phone.

I have blocked my debit card of the same account no. and also logged a complaint at 100.

The Police officials are saying that there are lot of such cases coming to them and government is not able to trace them because they are ISD numbers.

All I Would request to the concerned authorities is that PLEASE transfer this information on News Channels, so that many o[censored]s can be saved from becoming fools..

I am an IDEA post paid user. I too got a call from a number starting +92. I did not pick up the call as I felt it strange that the number was starting with +92. I know India's country code is 91. Later I came to know that +92 is Pakistan's country code. I did a google search and found this blog on consumer complaints website. Like one of you mentioned, we should not ignore such calls. We all know what Pakistan is. I also agree that we should not at all respond to such calls. It could be dangerous. IDEA also should take up stringent action against such anonymous calls. How can they leak out our phone numbers to Pakistan. This is neither FUNNY nor a JOKE. If they do not take up actions against these calls and If I get another call from such number/s, then I will also lodge an Police FIR against IDEA.
I got a similar call, there should be some action taken against this one.

was shocked that how someone got my Airtel number and trying to get information like this.
I request Airtel to take strict action against this number - or the series of numbers as mentioned above by other users.

Airtel is a brand, and I've been its customer for around 10 years - it should should consider this kind of complaints pretty seriously.
Any amount of money deducted may be re-imbursed back - thats a suggestion.
I hope Airtel keeps up to their brnd vlue and not let it get tarnished like this.

I got a missed call from [protected] t/w lottery winner of Airtel mumbai.
When i called back he (Ravi saxena) was talking in urdu and saying about the lottery winner of Rs. 2500000/-. he was also talking about that, u will get a call from mr. Ravi Singh agst. the same. but when i treshed out this number the number belongs from Dubai. Now i am confused about the same.
Please do the needfull for the above mentioned.
This is regarding the above posts by all the above people... i would like to first thank all of them for their bravery and for posting the nuissance and loss that they have gone through... i too would like to bring to notice for people across india- who are using airtel no's and also others... i too got a call from dubai by the no[protected] and he also told me that u have won a prize money ( lottery of 25 lakhs ) and also asked me to further contact on this no[protected] ... this is utter fraud... people please dont believe in them... they are just trying to fraud you and trying to earn ur hard earned money... beware of such calls...

I also got 2-3 miss calls from numbers starting +9230 at different time and fortunately couldn't receive them. I was confused who is calling me from a strange number. today I was tring to locate this number on internet and luckily found this forum which has resolved my confusion and tension. I want to thank all these people who have shown the courage to bring this fraud to our notice and saved my people from this fruad...Thanks a lot to all of you from all those people who are saved because of your comments...
My parents received a call from a person named "Vijay" from calcutta. He told them that we have won 25 lakhs in a lottery. He asked to call this 092 prefixed #. My parents called back and then, realized that it was fake. Unfortunately before realizing, they shared some of the information like residence address etc.
After the call got over, we received sms from airtel telling to execise caution while calling unknown number and sharing personal details as it can be misused.

I believe airtel should proactively speard this awareness among people. Many people in remote areas may not know such gimmicks played by these bluffmasters.

I am still not sure if we need to register a complaint regarding this incidence, would somebody advise me please?
I also received a similar call from the number [protected], they told me that i have won a cah prize of Rs 15 Lakh and they told me to call other number which is [protected].I called this number and the person addressed himself as Ram Singh speaking from AIRTEL MUMBAI..He asked me to purchase Dish TV Coupons worth Rs 7000, after that they will release the amount of Rs 15 Lakh...This is an absolute Fraud, pls ignore such calls...
I also got a same kind of call on my Vodafone number, but i am lucky that i have less balance in my phone so call disconnect in between before i give him my account number, and after that i read this blog which told me the whole story.

This morning I too received 2 missed calls from +[protected]. I dialed and they say its a lottery win. If a person is given me a lottery amount then won't he has enough money to do an ISD call. Why is a pakistani calling indian numbers? there are many more unanswered questions in my mind. When i received a SMS in afternoon from AD-SERVICE from airtel saying that 'you have made an ISD call to 0092 and make sure you don't disclose your details. What is the use of sending such a message and that too after 5 hrs.

This SMS should be rotating to all customers. If you cannot control and public has to bring this to police's notice.

Today 21st Feb 2010, I got a missed call from number[protected]. I didn't recognize it so called back. Some who said his name is Vijay Kumar(probably fake) said i won a award of Rs 10 lakh from Airtel and he is calling from airtel head office. He asked me to call [protected] and talk to Raj Verma(probably fake) to claim the money.

I didn't believe it, once i reached back home i checked online for such frauds and found above link. I called airtel and informed them about it.

I as an individual cannot followup with these frauds, however Airtel can and should followup and these people are defaming airtel's name.

i also recieved the same call from [protected] named raj singhania and he said that i have won a Rs 25, 00, 000 lottery and i had to submit itz dish tv cash cards worth Rs 14700 and then Rs 27700 and then Rs 47700 as income tax i spent the total of Rs 90100 and still he said that i have to pay Rs 45000 as the flight ticket then i read these complaints and i told them that i don't want the money

Hi, I have just recived a miss call from the number [protected] but I have not call backed. When I checked the country code of 92, I came to know that it is from Pakistan. I am reading lots of things about getting these types of FRAUD calls from various countries wherein caller will try to convince you about any baseless thing and will cheat you. Pleaes be aware about these calls and don't fall in these types of wrong claims. I am also going to call Airtel customer care for this and will ask them to block this at my number. Thanks.

I didn't call, because it seemed like a scam, considering i could here a drunk guy talking in the background. I asked my parents and friends and learnt that they had received similar calls.

I've been using Airtel for a long Time.i was really happy with all ur services and all.thank u for that.my no is +[protected].if possible chk my profile history.i am sure u must got my call details

but now a days i am fully cheated by Airtel. many times Airtel has taken money from my account . at first i was not informed about that. after getting shortage in my balance i chkd and found the stolen mind of stolen people[Airtel]

the good news is that i made many calls to customer care and registered complaintz about this.but the sadest fact is that they gave me some cock and bull story and told me to wait for somedays. up2 this time i have been facing this problem. how can i get charged my mobile if you stole money from my account. to the best of my belief i have been facing this dead problem since 24th of jan 2011.i dont have the habbit of charging small amounts. i used to charge for full talktime always. that might be the reason that Airtel took money always with out informing me.

I wouldnt mind to give money directly to you people but u have to give only 1 promise that Airtel people never ever try to stole any single money from anybodys account especially from mine.

i wish you people could do better actions on this. still i would like to continue airtel connection.i[censored] r not ready to clear my problems why should i use this connection. i surely change airtel into Idea witht my same mob no.

i too got cheated by the same modus operandi. First, i got a missed call from[protected]. when i called, i was notified that i have won rs 25 lakhs! and then i directed me to call another number. it seemed weird. If i had won, they would have called and not give a missed call for me to call them back. i was suspicious as the guy was struggling to speak fluent Hindi; he had a Punjabi accent.

my second mistake was i did not check my balance when the balance message popped up. I called the given number [protected], he had the same suspicious accent. i hung up and checked my balance, sure enouh nearly rs 100 was deducted.

This was just half an hour ago. I hope airtel does something about it.
PS: These calls were originating from Porkistan err.. Pakistan.

I had a call from Airtel company from Mumbai, they told me that i had won 10 lakhs rupees in reward,
for getting that 10 lakhs rupees i have to pay 10,000 rupees as tax, i had paid 10,000 rupees in the Account number provided by the company on the same day, after that day i had one more call from the same company that i had to pay 17,700 rupees extra as a managerial fees to get that 10 lakhs rupees, i had paid that 17,700 in the account number provided by the company, this time when i am calling on the number they are saying to pay more money, what i can do for this, Airtel company has done fraud with me.
I had all paying receipt and phone numbers of the company, what i can do...

Some executive called — Fraudulent Call for Lottery

I Received a fraud call from this number ([protected]) saying that You have won a lottery of 10 Lakh. We said that I dont want It then also the person he kept on disturbing. Please take an action. I believe this number is not from India
i received a call from the same no.[protected] as posted by dhairesh chaudhari on April 24th 2010 he told me the same thing and when i complained to Airtel they were very casual about it just saying that it was a fraud call.

      I have been several times to Airtel Customer Care at Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Road, Kolkata. They never give good services. Always keep the customer waiting giving excuses such as their computer not working or they are busy in some accounting works. It happens for several times. Even they avoid people coming for simple recharge. But it has been that they gossip among themselves, talk over the prolonged phone calls being so irresponsible in their duty. I think its high time the authority should take some active step on this center.

      After making a repeated complaint to customer care officers, i have finally make a complaint thru mail.
      I have been chareged Rs.5/- per day from Airtel in daily without my consensus from 54321 with the following messege " Air subscription service from Airtel for FHM Video.Rs.5/-charged from your account"

      We have a 29 connections with Airtel network. If the problem persists, we will change our network from Airtel immediately.

        Sir/Mam,
        This is to say that I Ashish Anand had lodged a complaint against ur device PLUG TO SURF for Internet connection. I was highly impressed with ur quick response but that time u asked me for the details.As since I was out for some work I couldnt provide u with the details so in this regard I would like u to call me again and please get the details.
        I lodged a complaint regarding ur very slow network connection with a horrible speed of a maximum of 10kbps which is far slow than the speed(236kbps) told by u.
        In this regard I would like you to take action against them or just reimburse my money Rs.3600/= as I am just depressed with ur speed and with the response that I got from the airtel distributor I think my problem wont be solved and my money is just wasted.

              I have taken Airtel Digital TV connection with South Megaplus in the month of February at Bigbazar, Hyderabad paying Rs.1950 under one of the schemes floated that point of time.

              However, I am not sure for which reason Airtel has created two connections on my name and every time I call up Airtel representatives, they came up with some funny reason to frustrate me.

              Here are the incidents for your understanding to understand my frustration,

              1. I have asked for top up of Neo Sports for the period of Six months and it was activated after 8 calls and big hue and cry from me.

              2. Later this month I have asked for top up of ESPN package which got installed after 8 attempts, saying the same reason that there is problem with my account.

              3. And now the latest, one of Airtel representative is asking me to pay money as my account balance got into negative despite the fact that I have recharged my account with Rs. 500 and for some strange reason he informed me that I have taken this connection last month and I have not paid the initial charges which is absolutely untruth, baseless and atrocious.

              4. Airtel guys have discontinued the Neo Sports channel which was up and running for period of six months from the month of March/April though you deducted money from my account for this service.

                I bought a Bangalore SIM on 12 May 2009, letting the Airtel employee there that I would be travelling from May 15 to May 25 and so please have my address verification done either before I left or after I returned. I was told not to worry because it would be done the next day. No one called and no one came. I was later informed that a representative came to verify my address on May 22!!!
                Subsequently I was sent a text message informing me that my outgoing calls were going to be blocked because my address could not be verified. I called the Customer (so called "anytime anywhere") Service and could only get connected to non English recordings. After several attempts while on roaming at my own expense I finally managed to call Customer Service in Bangalore.
                I explained the situation and requested they hold the 'block' on my number till I returned to Bangalore on the 25th. An Airtel customer representative called me on the 25th to inform me that someone would be coming to verify my address on the 26th morning. I said I would be available any morning till May 31st, after which I was going to be travelling again. Well no one called nor showed up to verify my address yet again. On the 26th evening my calls were blocked due the address verification issue. I called them, quite angry and irate, three times, (including the representative who called me on the 25th whose number was still in my call log) and all the three times my call happened to get disconnected with no return call to follow up. Discourteous to say the least!
                I have yet to experience a more disorganised, disinterested, unprofessional bunch of customer care representatives, who display a basic lack of common sense and intelligence, in addition to a totally 'couldn't care less' attitude. They hang up on a call that requires initiative and problem solving skills at the most basic level. To add insult to injury I received an sms from Airtel after each interaction, asking me to reply to their query of whether I was satisfied with the service I received - and supposedly ALL my calls were recorded for quality control. That had to be the biggest joke! I think I will get another SIM card and see if it can get any worse than Bharti Airtel. Oh and pleeease, has anyone out there managed to find anyone of any consequence in the company to complain to, who gave a damn????? Oh yeah, this is definitely a sign of "India Shining". people!

                I have taken GPRS mobile office plan for 100mb day & 2gb night free data use on 26 Dec 09. GPRS started working hen connected to PC but not in hand set. My hand set is NOKIA E 63.But after 02 days it stopped working on PC also. Again on 04 Jan 10 gprs worked on PC only but not in hand set.

                I have called 30 times in 10 days but no fruitful result. The customer care excutives works more as a counseller rather a problem shooter. I would like to bring this to the notice of the Airtel authority that if this way we get the service, then its better not to have a mobile phone.                     But they are not responding my request.

                    Airtel apple Iphone 3G — failure to provide service

                    I have bought an Apple Iphone 3G from Airtel as it is available through this company in India on bill. I have a UN resolved service issue for last six months and due to this delay the handset is now out of warranty.
                    The problem stared with the update of operating software provided by the apple company for all Iphones, the GPS feature failed to work (Google it on net and thousands of blogs describe this issue worldwide). The company in India takes no responsibility on this issue describing it as a hardware failure/issue. On calling the apple helpdesk I was told the service contract is with Airtel India. Airtel is not listening and not accepting the phone for service. Further this delay has caused the hand set in an out of warranty situation. I demand both the companies should resolve this service issue as per their contracts and provide their customers with prompt services and far as I am concerned I need a replacement of this phone with immediate effect.

                        dear sir,
                        i am a prepaid customer for airtel . my mobile no is [protected]. i got a recharge of rs. 47 which would reduce my STD rates to rs . 0.75 . after that i got another recharge of rs.27 which would decrease my local rates to rs. 0.60 . now once the sencond rechagre was done the first rechagre for STD rates is nullified and i loose my money. i also had a talk with airtel customer care and didnot get any reply. i think this is unfair means and they are fooling the customers . there can only bet two conditions
                        1. once one tariff reduction plan is taken the next one cannont be taken unless first expires in given time
                        OR
                        2. the company intimates the customer by SMS or any means that he will loose its first plan if he goes for any other before due date . and then the recharge should be allowed ..

                        i took the pain to write this as io think millions of customers are being fooled by this faulty practice ...plz look into this

                          Dear Sir,

                          It is most disappointing that i am using Mob no [protected] from past 03 Yrs and am paying the bill regularly.
                          This connection was earlier in CUG plan and on 30 sep 2008 (i left the company to keep the same contact Number ) i got the same shifted to my name, and there after paid all dues for which i was billed and no dues against my name are pending(excepting the current bill)..
                          Now to my surprise your department is sending me the bills (with old out standing, without confirming the old summery {of last year} & for which the bill summery also is not available), we have visited your office at least 10 to 15 times but the response given to me by your managers is very pathetic they do not know what to do, so the answer is kindly pay or speak to my boss.
                          Now they have send me the bill again with current bill amount Rs 194 & old dues Rs 7000 +.
                          Can i know what should be done if your company fails to provide me the details.
                          If the reply within three days is not received i shall deem it to an baren connection and discard my this number.
                          Early resolution is sought.

                            I have Airtel Digital TV Connection in my home. My customar ID is [protected]. Under this customar ID i have three set top box. my airtel pack is value pack and hindi plus and east plus top ups are activate in all my three set top boxes.On 18.05.09 i have told to customar care executive to cancel Hindi plus and East plus top ups from my two set top boxes (set top box Id.- [protected] & [protected]) but one set top box top ups will not be cancelled ( STB Id-[protected]).The customer care Exe. told me that he has cancelled the top ups from one no. of set top box ( STB ID - [protected]). But the second one (STB Id- [protected]) cannot be cancelled on that day and he has given me the complain no. 710889. And I got a SMS in my registered mobile no.([protected]) that my problem has been resolved on 19th May'09. Again I made a call on 20th May'09 to the customar care for the confirmation that the top ups are cancelled or not, then the CC executive told me that request they have taken and it will be cancelled from 26th May'09. on 26th May'09 I saw in that set top box still those top ups are running, so, I again called up the customar care and they told me that it will be deactivated from 26th June'09. They have not listened anything from me. So, again I called on 6th June'09 then they have given me the complain no. 746107 and they told me that it will be cancelled from 26th June'09. But I have tol them that this request I have given last month 18th, 19th, 20th, 26th May'09. They were still arogant and they told me that thaey cant do anything for that. So, I think they are cheated me because if they cancelled those top ups from the two set top boxes then they will lose the revenue from may'09 onwards, and they think that if they cheated atleast one set top box then they will get one month extra money. So, I asked them to hear me my voice recording regarding my requests which they have recorded because I have confirmed the cancellion request on 20th May'09 and the CC executive agreed on that day, but they told me this is not possible for them to hear me my voice recordings. So, I have come to your temple of justice for this issue. Please help me to cancel those top ups from May'09, so, I can save my money.

                              I am not able to make calls from my Airtel prepaid Mobile to BSNL's WLL lines of [protected] series of Village Chandhan, Jaisalmer (Rajasthan). I lodged complaint with Airtel Customer customer care on 11 Jun 09 and reference number is [protected]. So far no action has been taken. Whenever i try to make call the error message is coming "Number not in use". I am able to make calls from BSNL, Tata Indicom, Reliance or Vodaphone mobiles to BSNL WLL lines of [protected] series of Village Chandhan, Jaisalmer (Rajasthan) but not from Airtel moblie.This problem has been continue for last three months.

                              Airtel Mobile — not able to make call

                              Hi,

                              None of the Airtel customers are able to make call for the BSNL numbers starting from 9487series from Hosur Road, Bomanahalli area Bangalore. From other areas we are able to make calls. When we call from this particular area, we are getting message as the Number is invalid.Irrespective of giving multiple comlient to Airtel, the issue is not addressed. Can anybody suggest what can be done for the Airtel to fix this problem

                              I am not able to call a number that i have added to my mobile prepaid number [protected] via the 'add on five' for the past one week . I made a complaint on 198 they called back and said that the problem has been rectified. But the problem persists. The airtel people charge 20 paise everyday and a one time deduction of Rupees Twenty five for the service. They make the deduction promptly but the service cannot be accessed. It is causing undue hardship as i have to be hooked to this complaint number all day. Also they seem to be making unauthorised deduction of money citing some service or the other.The money is however being refund on a complaint again to 198. I wonder why the AIRTEL is irritating their customers like this. What sort of a business tactics is this? What if a not so ahrewd person like my mother was their customer. They would'nt have had the mind to call back and lodge a complaint while their hard earned money is looted by the service provider.
                              I request that such trade practices as above may please be avoided. I request that the connectivity to my add on number may please be restored.

                                    My airtel prepaid number is [protected]. On 31 March, 2009 my balance was Rs. 132.84.On 01 April, 2009 Rs.112.00 was deducted from my balance.On query about this deduction to customer care, I was being informed that a SMS pack of Rs. 112.00 had been activated on your phone(for which I didn't demand). I lodged a complain with the customer care (complaint i/d: 5552805; dtd: 01/04/09) and assured that the matter will be sorted out within a week. After not getting reply till 15/04/09, I again lodged a complain ((complaint i/d: 280500;). Like this I had been repeatedly assured for the refunding of the money and the solution of the problem for one & half month but never sorted out, however i didn't use the offer for the valid period of one month from the date of activation. like this I had been harassed and didn't get my money back also. Therefore I request you to look into the matter and do the needfull.
