I usually call to Australia.Till last month the call rate wasRs. 6.4/min. But this month the rate has been Rs. 10/min. What is the revised charge of ISD call for Australia? I am having serious problem because of this rate.

i want to see the all ISD rate of Different Gulf Countries and other reput ed country
the international call charges should be a less .32 lakhs neapli are in india if airtel isd charges be 7.00 twenty five lakhs nepali used this phone so it should be less in isd call rates.
isd call rates should be low like nepal
I usually call to Nepal and saudi Arab .When i bought this sim there had mentioned 9.20 paisa per minut as their sim terriff for the including nepal and other some nation.Although i had got to call in this same mentioned rate to nepal just for some days.But after about one month it was increased into 10 rupees.And still i'm getting charged 10 rupees per minute.So if there is possible to deduct my isd call rate specially for nepal, i would be gratefull of your service...!!!

Anyway,
I think there is no so matter to provide in less rated call for nepal because nepal is not so far than india's other state like Bihar.And next main thing is that nepal is so closer neighbour like our some states!!!

Here in India... so many Nepali user of air tel mobile, why airtel no concession for Isd Call nepal ???????? Rs 10 is too much...
So many Nepali people are harass for Isd call rate for Nepal ... What is u r next plan for nepal pls send us reply

    I am from Silvassa, my Mobile no. was [protected]. I have bought Airtel card and used the service for 1 month. As I suffers from the heavy loaded bill amount, suddenly I stopped the service. According the customer care, I paid extra money. As they ensure me that to return it back within 15 days. I have to collect 407.0/- from them. Also they send the extra bill to me even I stopped the service. Still i have not received the money from them for 2 months. Whenever I visit to the Airtel office in Silvassa, they are not giving me confirmation about the money refund and refusing me to tell the status. They are just telling me to wait for 45 days.

      Hello,

      I have a Airtel Landline connection with Broadband network since 2006.
      Now, I have shifted my residance and requested Airtel to cancel my landline connection.
      In turn, Airtel offered some concessations to retain the connection and free of cost for shifting with new telephone number.
      I have also agreed for the transfer on 18.04.2009.
      In the same week, some wiring work is happened in my new residance and they left with incompleted work with a assurance of completing in the next day. Airtel allotted some new numbers twice and when I checked with 121 assistance, I was told that no number was allotted.

      After many follow up with 121 and branch office visits, nothing is happened so far.
      When ever I contacted the 121, I got a response of the connection will be given with in 24 hours.

      Airtel — for disconnecting my land line

        I had taken a prepaid sim on Mon 5/25/2009 from a shop near by my office cybergateway hi tech city, Hyderabad. i gave the necessary documents& my account was activated within less than 30 minutes of my taking the sim. Than all of a sudden i get a sms from airtel that my application for the new prepaid connection has been rejected on 2nd june at 10:41 am (IST) & by the evening my outgoing calls are barred. at night when i call 121 customer care, they give me complaint number[protected].when i inquire, after getting the call escalated to the third level the manager customer service says that the documents which i submitted are not proper & hence my outgoing calls were barred.
        Now the things which i submitted to the shop keeper are :
        1) My employer ID card
        2) My PAN card
        3) My Ex-voter's ID Card from orissa
        4) A letter from my employer, on the company letter head regarding my current residing address with my house owner's name.
        5) A recent photograph

        Now their stand is something like a passport with the current address given in the application, driving license, landline phone bills- BSNL( on my name), electricity bills on my name, Ration card or gas connection on my name should be given. Else it has to be signed & attested by a gadgeted officer.

        I dont understand that a person who is not a native of the place who cannot have any of these documents... can't he/she be given a damn prepaid sim... they are just finding new ways to harass the customer. & their customer service team is so pathetic that it cannot come clearly what it wants to convey.

        Airtel Prepaid Connection — Calls Barred

        I got one airtel prepaid sim card on 10th march 2008.I got it 2 months validity and call value worth Rs 2000.I submitted my electricity bill as verification document. But still my outgoing call were barred and i still have Rs 1700 left in it which i cant use for my official work.
        Customer care is highly incapable and of no use.I am sure AIRTEL is worst operator in lucknow belt.

        AirTel — Airtel New SIM with outgoing calls barred

        Dear Sir/Madam,

        I have bought a SIM from Airtel[protected].

        This mobile no. ia activated on 31.05.08 haveing advance rental Rs. 699.

        but the credit limitd of above no. is 500Rs. As the advance rental itself crossing the credit limit, the outgoing calls barred.

        Now, please make me understnd, If somebody has taken ur no. with same/different rental plan, then on the same day his mobile outgoing call will be barred.

        Then what is the use of choosing airtel.

        Please clarify me as i have facing lots of inconvineince due to this.

        Inspite of submission of relevant documents twice, airtel customer support service in Mumbai has barred my pre paid no. With such harrasment, dream of being "MOST RESPECTED" company by 2010 will be distant dream for airtel.

        Airtel Prepaid SIM — Prepaid connection not allowing outgoing calls

        I bought a Airtel Prepaid Connection on my name Niranjan Bagh, Jaykaypur on[protected] with Life Time facility. The problem is that I am not able to place any outgoing calls. Incoming is fine. It is giving an error - Call Barring Active. I talked to the distributor a number of times at Rayagada, Orissa, but he is not responding.

        Airtel Prepaid connection( New) — Unable to get the calls

        Sir,

        Yesterday I got the new connection of the Airtel Prepaid and the Number I got is [protected].
        I am able to receive the calls from the Airtel Mobile but not from Airtel Landline and other service providers. As soon as the other party dials he gets "this telephone is not existing".

        I made the oral complaint to Customer care on the same day, i.e 15th Oct 08 and today morning at 6.00am, 6.15am and at 8.45am they are saying it will take upto 22nd October. What is this irresponsible service.
        Please clarify.

        I took a new airtel prepaid connection on[protected], submitting my photograph and voter i card xerox. i got a call from airtel on 25.10.2008 saying that i needed to give a local address proof.I submitted the same, i.e my house agreement xerox to airtel customer care office in vijayangar bangalore on 28.10.2008.
        It is[protected] today and my connection has still not been restored.My phone number is [protected].

        Airtel Sim — Barred all cals from the SIM

        I am a student of engg. college in Ranchi and bought AIRTEL SIM on 22nd September of Rs.99 giving my address proof as the bonafide certificate of my institute after that on 3rd October recharged it with lifetime recharge coupon of Rs. 298 .


        On 15th Oct calls are barrted and they asked for re documents.I send the re documents 2 times in firstly affixing the same bonafide certificate and permanent address then they again rejected the re documents then I submitted the documents by affixing the Driving Licence .After that also my SIM has not activated and they said that the no. is deleted cause its too late to come the forms to them.

        Recently i have taken a pre-paid connection. my No. is [protected]. I have lodged a complaint on 17.1.2010 regarding the same to the airtel prepaid service and my complaint no. is[protected]. But till dated i am unable to make any outgoing call. Please do the needful. I had many times talked to your pre-paid customer care but they are not help me out. they just say please hold and after holding 15-20 minutes they just disconnect. These customer care people are bringing bad name to your company. please do the needful so that i can actively use my no. [protected]and take strict action against the customer care representatives who are not sorting out the problems of your valuable customers.

        Prepaid connection — Outgoing call blocked

        Hello Sir/Madam

        This is Shailendra Gautam,
        I purchase a prepaid Sim from Bharmaur, Distt-Chamba and i submitted all the documemts asked by shop.
        My phone worked only for 15 days than after outgoing call blocked without intimation. I called the shopkepper who could not reply appropriately than i called to helpline where i could get the answer that i did not submitted the documents. I asked the shopkeeper, he replied i am trying and my paper have been submitted, if possible pl. intimate me about the progress.

        Airtel Prepaid Connection — Outgoing calls barred

        I took a prepaid airtel connection([protected]) two months back( August 2010) by submitting my proof of identity and photo at my nearby airtel office. Two days back my incoming and outgoing calls were barred giving the reason "Customer Verification failure". I called the customer care and told them the problem. They said they will rectify the problem within 24hrs. Then the incoming was activated but still the outgoing calls and sms is blocked. Again i called the customer care, they said my problem will be solved by November 8th. I did'nt expect such a bad service from airtel. What is the purpose of mobile phone if the outgoing is barred.           iam rohit my no. is [protected] my probleam is my mobile daily 10rs chrges deduction daily for mobile office so plz the deactivation the mobile office service
          AIRTEL has begun this Mobile Office service, which suddenly gets activated on any random phone number, without the consumer's consent and then starts deducting the customer's balance from his/her account spontaneously, after every 3-5 minutes. I am a victim. Since last month, this service had been activated, three times, repeatedly without even asking whether I need it or not. Every time I had to call Customer care 6-7 times a day to get the horrible thing de-activated but to no avail. It gets activated again and again. Right now I am suffering for the fourth time!

            hello sir i have activared mobile office gprs service on my numbet [protected] and after using it for few days i disconnected it, but even throught i have deactivated that service i am being charged for it daily the rental of 15 rupess so i contacted the costimer care on 121 and they told that the service was active but it was a fault from thier side so we have deactivated the service, but its been 25 days now daily my 15 rupesss r debitated from my acount, so daily my balance is gone to negative, and daily i need to call daily they say the service was active so i have been debited and now they have deactivated but till today i havent seen any improvment, i have got fedup by calling 121 daily and tell them to refund, but its now a 4 day that i havnt recived a refund from airtel each time i call they say that sorry sir we have solved the problem, and u will get ur refund back within 2 hours 4 days have been passed but i havnt got my refund yet, and also how long will they charge me for the service that i dont use at all and once i even thought that if i am paying for the serivice then y not to use it, but then i came to know that my service was not active, and also when i was using the service i used to recive message that u have been debited 14.99 for your vas, but since i have deactivated the service i havnt reciveed any message it automatically get s deducted, plz tell me what to do coz i have fedup by callin 121 now, and even i am not able to talk with any of their head representative yet

              I have 2 numbers from Airtel. Primary number is [protected]. However Airtel called me and asked to to pay a bill for another third number which I do not own. I asked the agent to log a complaint and informed that I have only two numbers and I am a very old customer with very good record of paying regular bills, therefore requested to deactivate any other third number if any. He informed to not to worry. After some time I again received a call and this was repeated again. They informed me that the third number is on my name however the address differs and is under of some office address in Ghaziabad.
              I again requested him to call that number owner and request for address proof. I suspect some person/agency used my documents to have this number, which I submitted for some purpose . What upset me the most is that why Airtel did not verify the photo Id and address proofs? I have informed them that this person might be misusing this number for unfair means and I may be held responsible so please deactivate the number and ask the person to meet in person with documents so they can verify. However this number is still active and running under me name. Please help, I may disclose the number some responsible authority approach me and ready to help me or do I go and launch a FIR against the owner and Airtel. I have also tried to log a complaint in Airtel website however it did not give me the right category and moreover it does not allow to describe the details. Seems that they don’t want anyone to log a complaint at all. I have also sent an email to [protected]@bharti.in, but I have no expectations from them.

                  i am fed up of airtel service...my sim card is lost .from last 02weeks i'm visiting airtel gallery in thane ..first they harassed me saying get police verification i went to police station they dont have time to write complaint..as busy in election...and afteri found out that PV its not compulsory airtel ppl told me they will give me my sim card the very next day but now they r saying systems are down ..i[censored]r system r always down then airtel should shut down ...my number is 8years old...i'm loosing business ... whose responsible for loss...i need answere that when will i get my sim card and what is the right procedur and how much time it takes to get duplicate sim card.. i need reply as soon as possible ..i'm frustrated ..my wife my bro's n sis's office, friends all r using airtel i will tell them disconnect there lines ...if i dont get proper n quick reply

                  I am using prepaid airtel connection (Andhra Pradesh-KAKINADA town) with no.[protected]. I lost my mobile and approached the local airtel authorities at kakinada for duplicate sim. They are reluctant to give their email address. The address given by them is "priyavision.[protected]@airtel.in". When I tried to send a email it was returned and I am getting a failure notice to my inbox. I could not send a complaint. Pl advise me the procedure for redressal of my grievance.

                        I am using Airtel broadband service (599/- Rs per month plan with limited download-3GB). I have recieved a bill of 7721/- Rs for a month from 6-May to 6-June, 09. When I asked for the clarification, it is been told from Airtel that it would be charged whenever Modem is ON... irrespective of internet usage. It was not known to me. It was also not communicated to me too. I just want to know how it could be charged when Modem is ON though I am not browsing.

                        Airtel Broadband — charging more than downloads

                        HI ! there i wanna have ma downloading details up till today n ma broad band connection no is[protected]
                        pls do reply asap
                        I too have been charged a huge amount for download on my broadband connection. They claim that I have downloaded more than 2Gb of data- which is insane. I have seeked for clarification . but obviously they will not reverse that amount. We being consumers are taken for a ride by such big shots. If i do not make the payment they will simply disconnect the connection- which again will cause us a problem. Hence, pay or not we are the sufferers.
                        I have taken a broadband connection in Jan, 2009 on[protected] for limited scheme. I recvd the bill on 7th feb, which seems to be wrong . The scheme has 1Gb of free download . the total download show in bill is 899Mb and the amount charged is app. Rs.704 with the discount of app. Rs 400 . so the net payable amount for broadband is app Rs.304.

                        I want to put across the point that if i have not crossed 1GB download limit then why shld it be billed.

                        This seems to be very serious mistake, since i don't have time to add-up download bytes everytime. Please don't fool customers.

                        Pl. reply immediately before the bill payment due date.

                        Airtel/ broadband connection — billing problems

                        I had bought airtel connection a few months ago. From the beginning i have been facing billing problems with this company. Last month i received a bill showing an additional parallel ringing charges.Even though I have called them and discontinued this service still they charged this amount. Last month I also changed my plan from Rs.799/- to Rs.500 then also I received again a bill with Rs.880
                        I am having the same issue..I also had the broadband service for 599/- and without using was charged 1056/-. And the download charge for a single day has come more than 500-, 200-, and while for other days 17/-, 20 /- etc.. None o[censored]s at house has used the internet during those times. And that too for 500/- ... They are just cheating by producing wrong bills.. I am really frustrated by these people.. And whiled called the customer care a female called Nisha told that my 256kbps has to get a dwnload speed of 180 kbps atleast and i wont be able to see a webpage with a speed of 35 kbps which i am getting now .. I wonder y ppl who dont know these basic things are kept in customer service.. Is there anyway i can get my money back.. I have already paid 500 for the modem so i dont want to take a new connection and pay for tat...These ppl must be making a hell lot of money by cheating us like this..
                        and this Rs.1056 was for a usage of 10 days.. as i had got the internet only by the end of that month nd the bill was for 6th of next month... I had to make 1000s of complaints for getting the connection and during each call have to wait for atleast 15mins to complete all the prerecorded questions and while talking to the customer executive they always come up with some unsatisfactory answers.. I have wasted around 200/- calling these customer service for getting the connection and now after getting the connection they are torturing with the bills...
                        Even i received a bill of 3500 instead of 670. One of my friends received an sms from airtel that there has been a techinical fault and that they have charged for nite usage as well. I have made a complaint thou. Lets see what happens. But no way am I gonna pay 3.5k for their mistake. I keep track of watever i do with internet. If my modem is on, then am on d net. Anyways that was a lie when they say they charge u for modem. I had been in a networkin company. U can fite with d person who told u that. Sometimes some updates for ur os, or other programs may download itself. But no way it cud shoot upto 7k. Take this issue seriously and talk to some senior agent in airtel. They r service oriented and am sure they would fix the issue. their service is perfect. Some tech agents spoil the name of the brand.
                        I am also a scapegoat of such fraudent billing. My modem gets switched on everytime I switch on the mosquito (All Out). Recently when i wanted to disconnect my connection, the Customer care advised me to change my plan to limited plan and told me that I will be charged only based on my usage time. Absolute no communication that AIRTEL's PROVIDED MODEM is enough to be switched on for timing.

                        I have a networking background and I dont understand how
                        - Without a laptop / PC connected
                        - without a IP assigned for communcation

                        HOW AIRTEL CAN SAY THAT BILLING STARTS WITH MODEM SWITCHED.

                        I am just wondering if such a reputed company in india is doing such a thing. The worst is the billing team says " We know that its not right to bill this way, but thats the way we bill and we evaluate."

                        I am working out the TRAI regulations for these, should get these guys sorted. Anyone with previos exo in this
                        I am also having this issue with Airtel. My calculation says that they are charging me at least 3 times from what I am downloading. So if I download some 20MB, they charge me some 50MB or 60MB. This has been going on for almost last 1 year or so. I believe that these Airtel guys have turned into big cheaters. I fully agree that they are also charging us in case we just leave the modem on and this is really frustrating. I have complained many times to these guys and now really want to take them on.

                        I want to go to consumer court and really bring them to task on this.

                        Airtel Broadband — charging for no usage and worst service

                        i am having a broadband connection of airtel NO-[protected].i have been using it on a rental of Rs 799 from past 1 year i had cleard all their payments from begining .one day around 2 months back i went to airtel store in janakpuri ,i cleared all there pending payments of around Rs 1400 and i requested them that i am not able to use internet as it is not getting connected besides that i am clearing every pending amount please help me out,they said their executive will visit my place to resolve the issue,since then and today no body came to resolve my issue,my all the detals can be checked i havent made a single penny ussage from past 3-4 months and besides accepting there fault the are giving calls at my friends number and threatning him .and disturbing him at [protected].this number was with me for few days back
                        but from past few days i was out of town my friend requested them that please consult him when he willbe back,now when i have come back to day i was really surprised that a company like airtel could do this,i am expecting some sensible solution from there side or else i need to proceed with legal terms ,i am available at [protected] from 19th feb 10 evening .Making this payment is not a big deal but what there employees are doing i just want to make airtel familiar with it ,so that the upper management can proceed with some standard procedure and action against those who are behaving in really unethical manner
                        I am using Airtel broadband service (250/- Rs per month plan with 25 Hrs o[censored]sage/month). I have recieved a bill of 2000/- Rs for a month of April'10 . When I asked for the clarification, it is been told from Airtel that it would be charged whenever Modem is ON... irrespective of internet usage. It was not known to me. It was also not communicated to me too. I just want to know how it could be charged when Modem is ON though I am not browsing.

                          Complaint Under Section 12 of the Consumer Protection Act.

                          Sir,
                          The complainant submits as under:-


                          1. That the complainant is the consumer of respondent.

                          2. That the complainant is a consumer of Airtel India prepaid mobile No.[protected] which is valid till 31 Dec. 2037 (sim#[protected]F)

                          3. That Airtel India has cheated complainant by deactivating Daily pack of GPRS without being requested and daily pack which was of Rs.25 for 24 hrs (6 to 6) which was activated on 9:47:03 AM (have confirmation message on that time) dated 7 June, 2009 and deactivated on 1:24:01 PM dated 7 June, 2009.

                          4. That Complainant immediately called customercare of Airtel India Mobile Company from his number just after the message of deactivation, the Customer care Mr.Chamman give me a complaint number 297343 and told that Complainant have not send any message for deactivation between; activation and deactivation time i.e. 9:47:03 AM to 1:24:01 PM dated 7 June, 2009. and asked to wait for 24 hrs.
                          5. Then on 8 June, 2009, on about 11 PM I again call for the back-up of my complaint but nothing was supported and customer care again asked me to wait for 24 hrs.

                          6. That then on very next day i.e. on[protected] at 6:25 PM, after 24 hrs, complainant again call in the evening to customercare Airtel Mobile Company for the same complaint for back-up of his complaint but complainant was surprised to hear from customer care (Mr. Bharat Singh) that complainant s sent message on 12:15 or on 12:30 PM for deactivation. Also Mr. Bharat Singh customer are told that complainant has sent UMO (unsubscribe Mobile office) message on 7:15 AM. Then complainant asked Customer care that his mobile GPRS was activated on 9:47 AM and how it can be deactivated on 7:15 AM then he has no answer for that but he said neither the money can be reversed nor service can be extended and customer care said that he can not do anything.


                          7. That this is not the first time Airtel Mobile Company has cheated the complainant. In Month of March, 2009; complainant has activated GPRS one day plan on 12:15 PM but the service was short lived and automatically deactivated after 30-40 min. and despite complaint to customer care no action or reversal of money was done neither service was extended.


                          8. That due to above reasons, complainant decided to launch complaint in the Hon’ble Redressal Forum against the Airtel India Mobile Company for cheating, deficiency of service, breaching the trust of customer i.e. complainant and causing mental pain and agony apart from harassment and wastage of time.
                          9. That the respondents have adopted unfair trade practices. The complainant suffered mental pain and agony besides harassment and time wastage due to respondent’s unfair trade practices and deficiency in service.
                          10. That the complainant comes under the definition of the Consumer Protection Act as his mobile number [protected] is a prepaid connection and is valid till 31st Dec. 2037.


                          11. That the Hon’ble Forum has got the jurisdiction to entertain and try the present complaint as the complainant is resident of Ludhiana and the respondents are giving services in Ludhiana.

                          It is, therefore, prayed that the respondents may kindly be directed to pay the complainant:-

                          i) Rs.25/- that was charged for MOD (Mobile Office Daily) and because service was interrupted and short lived for about 3 hrs instead of 24 hrs.

                          ii) Rs.1, 00, 000/- for the negligence, preplanned and systematic cheating done to the complainant and due to this complainant has suffered harassment, mental tension, agony, and wastage of time. Moreover Airtel India Mobile Company is earning millions of rupees from that kind of systematic cheating and fraud so should be punished with heavy fine to stop their malpractice.

                          iii) Cost of the complaint.

                          Any other relief which this Hon’ble Forum may deem fit and proper under the facts and circumstances as explained in the complaint may kindly be granted. The Airtel India Mobile Company should be punished to stop their malpractice and unfair trade practice to many of other consumers who did not complain due to shortage of time or lack of knowledge.

                          Airtel Mobile — Deficiancy in service

                          whenever I have an issue I used to call the helpline number i.e. 121 but Not a single customer care executive answers the same. Secondly, the network service ( range) is very poor. the billing is very unrealistic and whenever I choose to change my plan the company demands money from me.

                          the billing issue is most controversial. whenever I tried to talk to the airtel people sitting in the airtel outlets I got misleading answers.

Moreover Airtel India Mobile Company is earning millions of rupees from that kind of systematic cheating and fraud so should be punished with heavy fine to stop their malpractice.

                          Airtel Mobile Service — Deficiency in service

                          I obtained a recharge of Rs. 27/- to avail of ISD call charges @ Rs. 1.99 P on 11/2/10 vide Tr ID No.[protected]. This service has not ben activated till now (16/2/10) 12-- pm. During this period I had to talk to my son in Canada. For this I have been charged on regular charges basis. I complained to their help line No. (Tr ID no. [protected]). I was assured that the facility will be activated within 48 hrs and if I have to use ISD, the Company will give me adjustment of the amount excess charged (difference between standard charges & concessional charges of Rs. 1.99 per minute. This has not been done. I again spoke to Customer helpline this morning and I was assured that I will positively hear frm them by 1-30 pm). Kindly help me and get the credit of the amt charged in excess. Thanks G L Nagpaul

                              i have 3 Corporate postpaid lines with airtel and one prepaid for my family ...All chennai Lines [protected], [protected], [protected] are the post paids and [protected] is the prepaid one ... now im in a very important occation for my lifetime where my marriage engagement is happening in a Andrapradesh and problem happened in this situation where im not able to make any single landline calls in Andrapradesh since last 3 days.Initially i thought i could be of network congession, but later after many hours of waiting, approached Airtel Cus service, where the cus service nos 121-Any time service helpline is not accepting the option 1 for english where im not able to get any assistance or register complaint with airtel about the prob im facing ...hence i called [protected] Tamilnadu Aitel helpline for assistance, call landed in perpaid dept and they are helpless ...but they gave the [protected] helpline and im able to reach cus service dept where i spoke with MALLIKA the first rep who helped in understanding the situation ...
                              First contact for help after several hours of waiting happened 19th june 2009 Morning arround 10.17am ..and after that called chennai cus service for help again where no help received.
                              got a call from [protected] Tech dept VIJAYAWADA they said they are gonna do some changes, did trace of the call where the call getting terminated but still not submitted any feedback to the cus service and never informed of the status to me either, , , this is the second day and when i try to reach the tech dept they are not at all of the cus situation where MY WHOLE FAMILY IS HELPLESS NOT ABLE TO CONTACT THE PARTICULAR PERSON IN A.P SINCE THEY HAVE ONLY LANDLINE.                               Totally, my prob is not resolved so far and still in middle of road looking for local phones and recharge centres for the new mobile i bought spending RS-6000 for the mobile alone ...beside having 4 airtel connections sitting idle and waiting for the prob to be resolved ... all my conversations with the cus service are of chargeable since in roaming...
                              im gonna file in the Consumer court for the lack of service provided for customers and the frustration of my family members... REQUESTING HELP

                              These kind of complaints are quite common place with Airtel. Their outsource partner HTMT has some issues with the attitude of associates dealing with customers. The people manning Airtel's customer care have a bureaucratic attitude that they're superior in knowledge of their service and products than the callers, while they forget the fact that when everyone gets the same level of knowledge about their products and services they would not have the job. The prime reason for employing them is to talk to the customers and convince them to be proud of being associated with Airtel in spite of hiccups in services. But the people with imperious attitude on getting a job treat customers with scant respect and ruin the scope of happily doing business with Airtel.

                              Bharti needs to fix this issue at the earliest or they would face serious escalations to their corporate offices, as I did with their company secretary and director for unreasonably disconnecting my father's phone connection. In my case my father lost his mobile and we asked them to disable the SIM until we get a new one. After we got a new SIM and a new mobile my father was using the mobile without any issues for three month. After that the connection was disconnected. The reason given was our request to disable SIM some three months ago. When asked why the request given 3 months ago was acted upon after 3 months, they simply told me to put up another request to reactivate the SIM and they would get it back in order in 7 working days. Who requested the disconnection now, was not answered. It is done. To get it back wait for 7 days, that is the procedure. I wrote to the nodal officer, which was of no use. Finally I got a mail id of the company secretary and director of Bharti and wrote to him. Then I was flooded with calls from Airtel Chennai, Customer service manager, Senior manager, Chief manager, Nodal officer and on and on. The connection was back within minutes. So, for a simple mistake of theirs, I had to move the Director of the company. Their customer service rings in a world of coy not joy.

                                As of two months ago, the name on my account has been changed by Airtel to Manjunatha, ND. My name is Suresh Doraiswamy. How can an account name be changed unless somebody has cracked into their accounting system and changed the name? My whole identity in Airtel records are changed to "Manjunatha ND". If Airtel's accounting practises and Accounting System is so vulnerable then tomorrow anybody can crack into any Airtel account and make unauthorized charges. I have complained about this problem 3 times to Airtel and nothing has been done. TRAI does not accept complaints since they are on the side of AIRTEL against consumers. I have complained about Airtel's POOR Quality of SERVICE (QOS) several times during the past one year, all complaints fall on deaf ears.

                                I feel that I am being forced out of Airtel network to go to another service provider. Who is responsible for invesigating this? Not TRAI, Not AIRTEL, then who??

                                Airtel had accepted their mistake and made the necessary adjustments. The problem is resolved. usually such problems occur because of bugs in the back office software.

                                  Around couple of weeks back, i have applied for an tel broadband connection. Immediately an agent come to my house and collect the registration fees.

                                  They told that within 2 days you'll get the new connection. But no one contacted me for an week.

                                  Later when I tried to reach that agent ( Rajan [protected]) but he didnt pick my calls. Later I called out the customer cell and logged a compliant and I had been told that my compliant will get resolved within 2 days.

                                  Again NO response from them.

                                  Later when I tried to reach them, they told that your area distribution box gets filled out and we are not able to provide any connection to you :(

                                  Regd the money repayment they told that it will take 45 days to refund the amount. Still I really dono why ???

                                  The way they treat me in the customer call is the worst. I have asked the reason why it take 45 days ?
                                  Simply he disconnected the call.

                                  this thing happened twice ...totally disappointed with Airtel's response. Really worst I would say.

                                    My Name is Narendra Rajwanshi, I had Purchased Two Data Cards for my relatives on 27-Jan-2009 from Airtel shop (Vile parle E), receipts attached herewith. These were mainly bought to work from home and not for just home email and surfing purposes.
                                    As per the plan(Plan 350) the Data services are for unlimited hours and 500MB download. This was clearly asked and clarified with Mr Rishi – There is no restriction on timing and data download in 500Mb was clarified by Mr Rishi.

                                    These got activated in a day or two and were working fine till 5th Feb 2009. From 5th it developed problems and there was no connectivity available, and the work from home was severely suffering. A Complaint was made to customer care but no action was taken for 3~4 days. Initially Customer care said that there was a port failure at your end but finally they accepted there was some authentication problem at their end. CCare said that they would send some one at place but no one turned up.

                                    Finally we went back to the gallery and explained the problem to Mr. Rishi, and he said to contact customer care only and again trying the same there was no solution to the problem. We came back again to the Airtel Shop (Vile Parle E) and they changed the SIM on 9th Feb, saying there might be some problem with the SIM. (Receipt for this new SIM – given FOC is attached alongwith.)

                                    Even after replacing the SIM, the problem still remained, and finally we went back to return the Datacards and ask for a full refund (Rs. 7200 for both datacards). After a lot of argument (Mr Rishi) agreed to give the full refund next morning. Already 10~15 days had passed without any solution to the problem and we could not stop our Work, Hence we purchased new Tata – Indicom datacards which worked really well and continuing with the same till today.

                                    Mr Rishi meanwhile called up (Mr Vishesh) who claims to be Data solutions Head for Mumbai region. He sent some of the guys to inspect saying we cannot simply refund without inspecting the full problem. After a day or two he called up and said the services are resumed and kindly check, but we were clearly demanding our refund, which now Mr Rishi and Mr Vishesh made a U-turn and said cannot be given as it is not in the Company policy.

                                    We simply stopped following and continued with Tata Indicom datacards. To the Surprise and SHOCK, the Airtel gallery (Vile parle E) also uses Tata-Indicom datacard.

                                    After couple of weeks a bill was delivered with a shocking Amount of Rs 2657 for one card and Rs 613 for other. The Data transferred for the first card is only 486MB and 226Mb for the other. Not a single data card has crossed the limit of 500Mb and we had used only for a week or two.

                                    We went back to the gallery (Vile parle E) and asked for the clarification of the same. Mr Rishi was unable to clarify the same, He consulted Mr Vishesh and he kept on saying “jitna use kiya hai utna bill ayega”. I Immediately asked to disconnect the services, for the same Mr Rishi replied you will have to pay the bill first and then only disconnection request will be taken, I replied I will not pay a single Paise.

                                    Post the same I enquired about the Billing details from CustomerCare and they explained some Complex logic of how it is done. Every session on internet is of 2Mb, which is charged like Rs15 and for every new session even if download is not full 2Mb it will be charged Rs.15 and deducted from the 500Mb quota. Like this the First 500Mb is free and post that every session is charged Rs.15. This is Ridiculous and I have not seen any data services like this to happen. And More importantly this is not communicated by anyone in Airtel gallery nor it is present on the Airtel site. This is absolute Fraud.

                                    Now I have been getting calls to pay the bills and also a letter from Airtel that if bill is not paid a legal notice will be sent.

                                    I demand immediate Refund of my Datacards and immediate stop on the calls and the letters. Else I will approach the Consumer Court and take necessary action on Airtel.

                                    i have inform you that my card no is [protected] statr is 17 may im no use this card but without my notice compney provied me icici lomard inc..im not interseted incurance.im coplain 17 may in customer care byt there no result.customer care no is [protected].so please shot out the problem as soon posible .today i have talk roopa in customer care she told me your complain is under prossising .sir told me last 7 month no result.why i m do now. thanks you.

                                    Airtel-Data Card — Failure of services

                                    I bought a data card from Airtel under 999 Plan in January and my problems started from the first month itself. First the Airtel executives entered wrong data in their database and disconnected my data card on wrongful verification. Once this problem was solved, the data card would not open the e mail sites for e.g. yahoomail, rediffmail etc. After around 3 complaints to Customer care and the technical department also there have been no improvement in their performance. The Airtel executives make a fool of the Customers by giving various excuses, rather than solving the problem. The best part is that they ensure that you are charged for every month whether the services are provided or not. It is clear that they have failed to provide services as required and hence they reimbrse our initial amount or provide us with a better functioning data card as replacement.

                                      Hello Sir/Madam,

                                      Here I am putting my complain regarding worst network coverage at my locality Kavalbyrasandra, RT nagar, Bangalore. Since morning antena level fluctuates from zero to max.Call dies suddenly and after that if your caller tries to dial he find unreachable while your handset shows zero antenaa level.

                                      I spoke to customer care around 1.30 mid day after coming out from my locality. There was no satisfactory response.Even they were not aware of this problem as no body had complained so far.

                                      I just want to know if such situation arise where to put information so that these big giant operator can be punish by law to provide poor service to their customer.

                                      I am expecting telephonic interview this evening. Due to zero network coverage I am very upset.

                                      hi, I want to know for instalation airtel internet conection, should we pay the deposit at first? befor any work?
                                      becuase yesterday I wanted this service and called to Mr. Chethan (I think he is your coworker).
                                      he said : you have to pay Rs 3500 as deposit and installation charge at first and after 5 or 7 days we can connect your internet line. I could not pay this money (RS 3500) without any service. And I could not believe him becuase I did not know him and his office.After that he got angry and threw out the agreement and went.
                                      here I want to know this is correcte behavier for one Airtel officer???
                                      please tell me, where can I find nearest Airtel office to R.T.Nagar?

                                      I have got the new sim 20 days back and from last Friday (19th March) the outgoing calls are bared. There is no change of status after many phone to customer center and direct visit to RT nagar Aircel office. Please let me know whom to contact to solve the problem.

                                      Please note: RT nagar branch confirmed that all documents are in place.

                                        MY MOBILE NUMBER IS- [protected]. ON THE AIRTEL END, COMPANY ACTIVATE CALLER TUNE ON DATE 22/05/2009. AND COMPANY CUT OFF 60 RUPEES IN MY BALANCE. I COMPLAIN FOR MY BALANCE REFUND. AFTER TWO DAYS ON 24/05/2009 I GOT COMPLAIN NUMBER[protected]. CUSTOMER CARE SAID THAT YOUR BALANCE WILL BE REFUND ON DATE 26/05/2009. AFTER THAT I CALL BACK BECAUSE MY BALANCE IS NOT REFUNDED. THEY GIVE ME 12 HOURS TIME. I CALL BACK THEY GIVE ME 6 HOURS TIME AFTER THAT THEY CLOSE MY CUSTOMER CARE NUMBER. WHEN YESTERDAY I TALK THEY AGAIN SAYS YOUR BALANCE WILL BE REFUNDED IN 6 HOURS. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED AND FEEL VERY NERVOUS. PLEASE SOLVE THE PROBLEM.

                                        my bal. has been deducted but still hello tune is not working.
                                        when i called again on 121 an executive priyanka said that it wil start in some time, but when i ask her for how much time it will take, she ask me for hold & disconnected call. is this a rigt way to treat a customer. please look in to matter. & start my hello tune.
