Dear Sir/madam,
i am really frusteted against the airtel which is the one of the useless service provider, since last two years i am complainting the network problem on my no.[protected] but till date not solved the problems, i got more than 150 reference numbers of my complaint and mails to nodal officers, but its useless to do so.my card is 7 years old so cant close the number, if somebody is listning or reading plz advice or do something on my issue.

I am hereby attaching the few mails which i had sent to the company.

is anybody listning to my complaint, this is a last mail from my side after this will not give any reminders and will take a action.

I dont want to comment i want to complaint that from the day i purchased airtel simcard aug 2 2008 i suffering from network problem in indoors hundreds of complaint but not satisfied at all with airtel team.making the matters worse they stop my airtel customer care calling service.so plz solve my complaint.

    Dear Sir,

    We purchased 2 Leased Lines in the month of Dec 2008 from you. We have been facing speed issues with our 512 kbps (1:2) Leased line connection for the past 45 days or so. After repeated complaints finally our representative visited on Feb 04, 2009 with a technician. After investigation it was said that the problem was due to missing bandwith setting in the router and it has been rectified. It was also told that the router will be replaced on Feb 05, 2009.

    This is to inform you that the router was not replaced as promised and we continue to face the following issues with the leased line:

    a) Very low speed of connectivity. As low as 40-50 kbps
    c) Heavy fluctuations and very frequent glitches in the speed
    d) Intermittent abnormal behaviour with low download speed and very high upload speeds

    We are extremely disappointed with the way Airtel is handling the issue. Firstly it has taken your company 45 days to respond to the complaint. Despite that the problem remains unresolved. Since our entire business model is dependent on internet we are suffering heavy financial losses because of this persistent connectivity issue and the inordinate delay in resolving it. In fact the whole purpose of investing in a Leased Line appears defeated. Our earlier DSL connection was giving us much better and stable performance than the Leased Line.

    You may let us know if you lack the expertise to resolve the problem. The various departments of Airtel involved are simply playing the blame game and passing the buck to each other which ultimately is no good for us and the problem remains where it was nearly one and a half months ago. This is considered a highly unprofessional way of handling customer complaints and is definitely unbecoming of an organization like Airtel.

    This is our final request to you for resolving the issue before Feb 09, 2009. If you are unable to do so then please refund the advance payment and disconnect your Leased Line. We will go for some other solution with another vendor.

    Looking forward to a prompt response from your end.

    I disagree with Mr. Vinay as there is no use complaining even to nodal officer or the appellant authority. These guys will henceforth bully you for your payments which are not due and will never give you credit for hours where the lines were disconnected. Also, for international gateways your speed will be 50% lower to the speed you have registered. I am a sufferer of their poor service, delayed installation, undue billing dates, being bullied unncessarily by their collection department and delayed response from hopeless nodal officers.

    Dear Team,

    We Caxita Tech Solutions Pvt. Ltd, Cochin ordered a leased line of 1MBps(1:1) on 28-July-2011. As part of the process, we handed over a cheque No. 045440 dated 29-Jul-2011 for an amount of INR.7353 favouring M/s Airtel to Mr. Sarath Kumar, B2B-data sales, SL avenue, NH Byepass road, Kundanoor Jn, Maradu P.O, Cochin.

    After that, since you haven't satisfied the clearly mentioned conditions o[censored]s, we canceled the product before further proceedings or installation on 11-Aug-2010. But the cheque or the amount has not been returned to us till now. On communicating with Mr. Sarath, he is simply lagging the matter for the last 3 months. Its more than 3 months, we are running behind you people to get the cheque back.

    We really valued our association with Airtel in many channels, but now we are totally disappointed & dissatisfied with the response from concerned person at Airtel. Since we are interested in a long term relationship with Airtel, We request you to make arrangements to return the cheque as early as possible.

      There was a call from airtel requesting that if your phone number has been selected for Hello Tunes, I clearly told the calling guy I don't want Hello Tune to be activated Instead I asked him to look in to the date of expiry of the connection because when I took the connection, it's lifetime free and expiry date was 2021 and now it is showing 2011. He said I will look in to it and get back to you. To my surprise, today I received 2 message saying your Hello Tune has been activated and they deducted Rs. 30 towards activation and Rs. 15 towards song. They set the song of their choice. Immediately after receipt of SMS I called customer care, they told me they can not reverse the deducted amount. THIS IS TOTALLY A CHEATING...

      I told the customer care since you have deducted charges for a month, continue the Hello Tune for 1 month and then automatically stop. she said I did the setting in system so it will automatically stop after 1 month and not a single paisa will be deducted from the balance.

      Hope Airtel will keep their promise.

            sir me pichhle 3 saal se Airtel Post Paid Connection ko used kar rha hoon har baar bill Rs.2500 se Rs. 3500 ke bich me aata hai par last 2 months se mujhe mere bill me problam dikhai di mene airtel customer care pe call karke STD rate ke bare me puchha aur apni ueses batai inhone mujhe STD North Pack ke bare me bataya jo Rs.100 ka tha jisme North STD .50 Paise ki ho jati hai par jab bill aaya to call charge Rs.1.50 ke hisab se kate or bill me Rs.100 ka STD North Pack show bhi kar raha hai, is ke bare me Customer care pe baat kari to wo bolte hai aisa koi pack nahi hai or aapko bill pay karna padega warna no. kaat denge. Aur Customer Care par jo excutive bathe hote hai wo bohut batmizi se baat karte hai, mene apni Mangetar ko call kari par call kahi dusri jagah mil gaya fir mene dubara call kari wo U.P. me mili jab mene iske baare me customer care me baat kari to unhone mujhe ye bola sir apni mangetar ko chek karlo ki wo ghar par hai ya nahi is se pahle mene apni mangetar se baat karke puchh liya tha kyoki mene socha kahi phone chori to nahi hua par wo ghar par thi is baare me mene Customer care ke sinior Department me compaint ki par mujhe is baare me koi achha jawab nahi mila or jo U.P. me Call lagi thi uska jawab bhi nhi diya,
            sir mene apne bill kabhi chek nahi hiye the par jab chek kiya to ye galtiya nikli or airtel apne aap har koi service activate karke uske charge kaat rha tha jiski humko information nahi hoti thi. jab chek kara to galtiya nikli or baat karne par batate hai system se activate ho gayi hongi. sir me apna is month ka bill bhi aapko bhej sakta hoon jisme aap dekh sakte ho jo Rs. 100 ka STD North Pack activate hai par call charge Rs1.50 ke hisab se kaat rakhi hai

            Rquest you to please give me a solution

            He call the payment the bill but how can i deposit the bill without check the bill because company reimburse the bill but without hard copy of bill how comp give the reimburse amount .

            I told many time to Airtel Customre Care

            After 2 ya 3 Days I'm Region the job . And i cant pay your bill form Comp

            So Please do fast and do the Needful and please provide me a Origional Copy of my Bill and correct bill Address

              iam getting SMS from 64611010 thanks for using subscription service on airtel WAP yo've charged rs 10.

              I had subscription for text based service in airtel WAP through
              http://igmobi.com. iamlosing rs 10/-per day. iwant to deactivate this subscription by today. please be kind enough to deactivate this subscription to day my cell no [protected].

              They(Customer care executive)(all great ) will not do any thing. Always give you wrong way to stop, and wrong information to unsubscribe any services.. Sometimes without informing you they activated those services... Whatever you can try this... To unsubscribe, SMS UNSUB < Service code > to 54321 eg . UNSUB News to 54321.

                I am Postpaid Customer with AIRTEL Mobility since 28th Oct, 2007 and inspite i have already registered for DND on 31st Oct, 2008 i am getting Promo SMSs on daily basis since 16th Jan.2009.
                The height was then when from 16th Jan, 2009 i started receiving SMS from 543210 (SANTA BANTA JOKES).Team i want to bring your concern that inspite i have not registered for SANTA & BANTA JOKES then also i am receiving on daily basis from 16th Jan, 09 onwards.
                I called 121 and tried to share my problem, but then even they were not able to help because from SYSTEM this service of SMS is not activated, so even they were helpless.
                So finally on 20th Jan, 09 i talked to Ms.Prachi at 1500 hours and i was told that she will escalate the issue to Technical Team and within 24 hours this service will be stopped but then again on 21st Jan, 09 i received the SMS.Then finally i talked to Retention Dept (Mr.Nihar Ranjan Das);he said that it might be possible that my SIM Card might have some problem so he guided me to visit nearest ARC so that my problem can be resolve;so i visited ARC Kalyani Nagar (Pune) on 21st Jan, 09 at 1630 hours and met Centre Manager Mr.Amol ( [protected] ) but then he tried his level best but then he couldn't stop this SMS.
                One more thing i would quote abt Mr.Amol that he was very cooperative and personally was in touch with me;informing abt the improvement.

                Hi, mine is exactly similar problem. They are sending me cricket updates from 543210 & have not disconnected the service. Its been more than 2 months now.
                I'm planning to disconnect airtel service. I've noticed that over the years airtel is increasing business through unwanted Spam.
                It's better to switch to Vodafone.

                  i am using airtel postpaid CUG connection. this month (jan) onword airtel communication company send me unused calls bill that was not correct.due to my transfer i want to disconnect my cell no [protected].when my executive went in airtel office to pay whole bill amt, then they said to pay 1245/-rs actually amt was 671/rs plus 324/rs-that was not correct amt even last month comp send me 260/rs for due date 08/01/09 and i deposited it on 03. 01.2009 is in advance.

                    sir,
                    As iam a long time customer of airtel prepaid, As i lost my sim card {[protected]} on 23/01/09 as i was not well i could not inform for cancelling or blocking of my sim to airtel but i made a point to visit on 29/01/09 i approched airtel out let in RT nagar which is situated in Girija complex.

                    Thy issued me a duplicate sim for the same number also iasked them to migrate my prepaid connection to postpaid which they did and i took the a plan {AES 248} they assured me of getting connected with in 48working hrs also i paid them cash of Rs 300 in cash & also i gave all they address & ID proof copys to them.

                    Then on saturday the 31/01/09 i visited the out let in RT nagar again to tell them that its not been activated till the day as i visited them in the evening around 6pm or after 6pm as i dont remember the time but i got very rude answers from one of the fat female executive like {you should wait till its processed or you can live } which i felt very insulting and she aked to wait till monday 9th feb 09 or tuesday 10th feb09 it will get activated.

                    But when i went again on 11th feb 09 evening at around 7:30pm they made me sit &then made to wait till 8:15 pm after waiting such long time they asked that they will activate on 12th feb 09 as they have already sent to some back hand people when told my urgency to recieve &make calls they have no little concerned of it as it was late for those girls i asked them that let me give you time till tommarow as you are girls and need to be home so i let cursing airtel for the problems they put me in .

                    Sir when i called them today one of the girl who was very help full all the time from that out let itself her name is FARHA when i called her & asked about my connection she asked that senior fat female executive and told me that it is in process and it will take another 2 or 3days to activate that is on 14th february 09 which is not tolerable at this time o[censored]rgency.

                    Sir can you please look in to my problem coz i dont thing they are understanding my urgency of connection immediately sir this is my first time iam complaining to you hope you will help me in this kind of situation coz iam not avilable when my boss in UK or any of my family members are not able to contact me in emergency.

                    Sir i dont want any harsh action on the executive as they are not properly trained to attained the customers complaints airtel should provide with that .

                            I had a airtel connection # [protected], which got changed to [protected], as my office moved to a corporate connection. The old number was deactivated on yesterday- 4th Feb. While after my new number got activated, I found my ISD call facility is not working which was there in my old number and airtel person did not inform this while switcing to a new number.

                            I hold a international position and I have to be in constant touch with my partner organizations/staffs and have always phone call appointments with them. While my office has requested them (emailed to Mr Tapas Kar) immediately yesterday to reactivate my ISD call facility, it was not done as obviously expected. I called up today at [protected] (Rajkumar) who is the customer support officer and deals with my office, and he said that it will be activated by 11:00 am and not even at 11:01 am. After that it is now 12:00 pm and no action has been taken so far. My office has been in touch with them and yet to get any response.

                            The complaint I wanted to raise is that I had to cancel my phone calls last night and till now, I could not make international calls which were all urgent. I need a public explanation by Airtel Kolkata and also compensation of my time and harassment which is never counted by any serice provider such as airtel.

                            New Mobile Office - Airtel — Reactivation

                            On 20th January,2008, I have paid Rs.375 towards monthly charges of GPRS connection for my mobile [protected] and got activated. Next day my gprs connection was deactivated and asked me to send an sms GPRS to 56789 for activation. When I sent the sms the gprs connection was activated by charging Rs.20 and the same continued for five days. Since I was new to gprs, I approached my friend and got clarified that my gprs connection is charged on daily basis @ Rs.20 per day.

                            Coming to know the fact, I have made a complaint to their customer service #121, and they told that it will be attended to within 24 hours on 30.01.08. So far the complaint is not attended and I have sent many sms and customer service representatives are not coming on line and only prerecorded message is coming

                            So I request you to take this as complaint for cheating the public in the name of gprs by charging monthly as well as daily simultaneously without bothering to redress the grievance by not contacting the customer directly.

                              I have a credit limit of Rs 4400 on my phone. My usage was around Rs 3200 and I get a message from Airtel on 29th Jan, indicating the same and asking me to pay before I cross my credit limit. Suddenly on 30th Jan my outgoing calls are barred, when I call the customer care to find out the reason for the same they tell me that I have over shot my credit limit, I said that is not possible as my limit is 4400 and I have not reached there. Then they tell me that my credit limit has been changed suddenly to Rs 1500. This was without any prior notice and just a day after they send me a message saying my limit is Rs 4400. The reason they gave me for the redusal was that my past bills didnt have a usage of over Rs 2000, but when I confronted saying that my last bill is only of Rs 3200, they said they cant help with it as system decided everything. I was supposed to be travelling the next day on 31st Jan for work so I thought there is no point in arguing and get my phone started first, I offered to make an online payment, but they refused saying I will have to go to nearest airtel centre and pay cash and go with my credit card statement. The reason they gave for this is that I have used multiple credit cards for making payment. Firstly I have only one credit card with which I have made payment always and secondly even if I am paying by seperate credit cards then how do they care as long as they're getting their money. I spoke to 4 different customer service agents and explained them that there was a problem with their system to suddenly reduce my credit limit and bar my calls but they were not willing to listen and were rude. I even requested to speak to a senior who they said would call me back in 2 hours maximum but that never happened. They were not willing to accept an online payment as well and when I asked for nearest Airtel outlet they asked me to find that out on my own. Only as I was desperate to get my phone started as I was going to be travelling the other day I had to go look first for an ATM and then go find an airtel office, where also they refused to let me in as i was 10 mins after their closing time. The efforts I had to put in to get the phone started are unexplainable. Then next day I get a call from Airtel after I paid them and after I threatened to file a complain in the consumer forum, telling me that my credit limit has been made Rs 4400 and it was reduced by mistake. This behaviour is unacceptable they will reduce the limit anytime without notice, not listen to you at all, make you run for payment and after they receive the money increase the limit again. Had I already been in some other city travelling what would I have done.

                                I have Airtel Post Paid connection, Plan AES 249KK.
                                I'm having this plan from past 3 years, things were fine till latest Bill (Dec-08 Bill)
                                I had done 128 SMS on Jan 1, I got charged for it.
                                As per my plan I have 200 SMS free, I had used only 128, I got charged at Rs0.5 per SMS.
                                I called up the customer care, they said they have a new rule which says on special Occasoin the SMS will be charged !!!
                                I got shocked and asked what do u mean by special occasion, who defines this ?
                                He has no answer, all he wasy blabbering was they had sent an SMS long before stating this rule, I had never received any message like that.
                                As per I remember there were no conditions like that in my plan.
                                Please let me know who is making these new conditions ?
                                Is TRAI had imposed any rule to the service providers to charge full money on special occasion ?
                                If the trend continues like this, Airtel might tell customers that if you call in peak hours you might be charged full (Though you are post paid), only saturday, sundays and late night calls are free.
                                I feel Airtel is cheating customers and charging them.

                                Please clarify about this, I'm ready to go to consumer court.

                                I have a plan in which I can send 200 SMS free per month but I came to know recently that AIRTEL is charging for SMS on special days in Karnakata, when I took up this plan this clause was not mentioned to me. The way they are communicating this is also not proper.

                                i can understand your concern. But YES. TRAI has made the regulation that operators can charge on a predefined list of days even though you have 200 or 2000 sms free.
                                The defined list varies from operator to operator and it can be obtained from their website.

                                  I am styaing at Vashi, Navimumbai. I have procured new Airtel prepaid connection SIM card fifteen days back. I have also activated GPRS. Now last week, I deactivated GPRS and from next day onwards I was not getting any signal to my phone. After I called up to service centre, they asked me to visit their Galary at Vashi. After visiting to the Galary, the person has checked my SIM and told that it is damaged and I need to replace it and to pay for it. Now, a new SIM if damaged within fifteen days, without removing from the cell phone, means that already damaged SIM was provided to me and they have started a new business of getting money from the costomer.
                                  I am planning to go to consumer court for the same and to give same complain to different newz papers also.

                                    I bought a Samsung 32" LCD TV on 1st January 2009. After a delay of 10 days the samsung supplied me with activation kit for installation of Airtel digital tv connection, which should have been supplied along with the LCD TV on 1st january itself.
                                    Thereafter, another ordeal commenced, the struggle for installation of Airtel digital tv. I faithfully followed the steps 1 to 4 as per instructions on tv activation kit. I had to ring up several times on[protected] to give repeated informations with regard to the installation of the Airtel digital tv viz.activation kit serial number, the pin on the scratch card, the home address and my mobile number. To do this I had to hold on for more than 10 to 20 minutes for connection to the Airtel operator through the call centre on the above number. It included talking to the senior person incharge etc., Finally I got registered and was given customer ID number [protected]. Every time I got stereotyped reply that please give us 48 hours for the necessary installation. Today, it is 2nd of Feb 2009 but the Airtel digital tv installation is still a mirage.
                                    How does the Airtel works?If this is the treatment to a new customer, what would be the treatment given to us once their system gets installed? Whether these complaints are seen at the senior level or they get suppresse at the very lower level or this is the company policy to torture any customer who falls into their net.
                                    Please wake the sleeping giants and take necessary measures to install the requisite digital tv connection. I always had a very good opinion of the BHARTI TELE.
                                    Infact i have been facing the same problem for the last two months. I bought the samsung LCD tv on 25th Dec and i am yet to get the Digital TV installation done despite making 15 calls to the Airtel support team. I am totally frustrated on the whole offer. I am not sure whether it is just an eye-wash to fool people. I also do not know how to take it up with the higher authorities at Airtel. I dont mind a delay in the installation as it happens with all providers. But despite making several attempts, i am yet to receive a call from Airtel about the installation. That puts me in a fix about the way Airtel operates.

                                      Airtel — stop charging Rs. 60 every month for job alerts

                                      sir alomost 6 months ago we mistakenly enabled the "job alert" facility and they started charging 60 Rs every month. Then we tried a lot to disable the facility. we followed the instructions, even talked to the agent in kolkata but thet keep on deducting the amount every month. sir we belong to a farming background and 60 Rs per month means a lot to us. plz try to solve our problem.                                       In my mobile STD was being charged @ 1/- but suddenly they started charging me 1.50/- even after recharging for 57/- as per the message received from Airtel telling that if we recharge for 57/- we will be charged for STD 1/- (Airtel to Airtel), local at 60p other STD calls at 1 Rs, RC with 57/-, six months validity).                                       In my airtel prepaid mobile [protected] bikini alert is coming daily, even I didn't subscribe it. Deducting 1 Rs daily. I want to un-subscribe it.

                                      Airtel has really lost it!!! my parent are throwing away their airtel cards today!! i suggest u guys do so too... we tried alot to stop these services but it keeps coming it cant be processed. they are really looting us and my dad actually didnt recharge his account to see what they do. and believe it or not they are taking his account into negative balance!!! it is outrageous!!!1
                                      I faced the same problem. They deduct my money for some cricket subscription from nowhere!

                                        i am the holder of connection from airtel mobile number [protected] and i being being charged rs.10/- per day for the services which i never got activated. i daily receive a message from the company like this "thanks for using (subscription, textbased services)subscription service on Airtel WAP. you'hve been charged Rs.10/-.Enter Fun Zone http.//igmobi.com.
                                        I have five time lodged a complaint on the airtel service number 121 and they assured me that this will be got deactivated within24 hours . but nothing has been done so far. there are number of customer like this being exploited daily. please help us into the matter, thanks
