Hi,

I migrated my airtel broadband plan from 499 to 777/-, then later I asked to migrated back to 499/-.
As per my opinion, bill should be around 800/-. But it reached to 1946/-.
I send so many mail to customer and nodal officer, but no response on this query.
I got so many calls from Airtel with issue, which I didnt ask.

Dont knwo, how it will be resolved ?

I have a connection of airtel broadband from November 2008 and took 555 combo plan of airtel.
On my very first bill, amount was Rs.1273 from the period of Nov 12th - Nov 17th...
As a customer i was never told of my billing cycle and that the bill will be on pro-rata basis...
I called up airtel and got it sorted and it took me a month to get a resolution after myself calling airtel to collect the payment repeated number of times...

Each time the executives said they'll look into it and get the amount waived. I wasn't reassured though..I called up the customer care again after a couple of days and asked them the status of my previous complaint. The reply I got was that a mail has been forwarded to the requisite department and they're looking into it. I asked them to please call me up about the status of the complaint whenever there's an update.
I did not get any calls in the next 3-4 days. So I called the customer care again, and told them that I'm fed up and that I will only pay my normal monthly bill of Rs 785 and nothing extra. The person at the other end offered his apologies and said he'l surely get the amount waived and get me unsubscribed from the stupid service. Meanwhile, waiting for their call, the bill due date went off.and I got a call from the airtel billing department asking me to pay the bill. I told them that you first get my complaint resolved and then I'; pay the bill. he said.."sir, you at least pay your normal monthly bill. I'l definitely get the extra amount waived off in the next bill".

The bill for the month of Dec 2008 came as current charges of Rs.363.84 and a total of Rs.449.00... Reassured, i made the payment for that month...But that was not the end.

To my biggest shock the 3rd bill that i recieved in the month of January 2009 was for Rs. 7, 904.95.

On aksing for explanation, i was told that my internet usage was very high..on checking the statement i was also biiled for the times when i was not home...
My husband who has suffered from a massive Brain Haemmorhage and he cannot even use the internet as he was hospitalised and had vitereoues haemmorhage and was not able to see from both eyes.

I know that I have not used the same and airtel is demanding wrong money from me.

In that whole unpleasant experience of hospitals, i had to face this challenge with spending hours on airtel customer service departments, having being transeferrd from one deptt. to another and getting calls disconnected every now and then, telling the same whole story to different executives, asking for disconnection immediately but getting to hear a NO always... And on top of it, getting calls back (which was once or twice) by airtel executives and being spoken to me very rudely and getting harrassed by them.

As a regular customer of airtel, i don't think that i deserve all this at any cost, NO MATTER WHAT...

On 24th Of january 2009, i finally requested my connection to be disconnected and to resolve the issue, but till date no resolution has been given and neither has the connection been disconnected.

Can you please look into the matter. and get the bill corrected.

Don't pay the bill and close the connection.
Make a documents like closing request number.
all complain number etc.
Donn't pay the bill airtell will sattle the matter automatic
i have opted for airtel broad band internet connection after it was installed whenever i browse my computer gets slow kindly rectify this

    Hi,

    I would like to complaint regarding the policies change at airtel. I had applied for a airtel boradband connection and had taken the plan of 384 kbps with unlimited downloads. Just a few days back the policies have changed stating

    As per forum sources, the limit on their unlimited plans are as under:

    128 kbps = 10 GB download limit per month
    256 kbps = 15 GB download limit per month
    384 kbps = 20 GB download limit per month
    512 kbps = 25 GB download limit per month
    1 Mbps = 150 GB download limit per month

    I feel it is cheating me of the money i pay and also i am not getting the download speed i had subscribed for. kindly help me to get back the amount for the same.

      Hi,

      My problems are following:

      1] I was promised the following post paid numbers : [protected]/127.

      2] These numbers were promised to me in the Airtel Campus promotion held at our company Mphasis an EDS Company.

      3] Commitments were made by representatives Prabhu [Cell number : [protected]] & Vaibhav [Cell number : [protected]].

      4] There were some internal conflicts between Prabhu and Vaibhav. Vaibhav took documents form me.

      5] Without my consent they assigned 2 very different numbers against what was promised.

      6] Those two number were also ACTIVATED without informing me. I did not accept the Sim card. And are still with Airtel employees.

      7] I escalated to Ashu Agarwal [Airtel's Sales Manager] [Cell Number :[protected]].

      8] He instead assured me that he would get those numbers corrected and instead would be providing me the following numbers :[protected]/62

      9] When i received discouraging response from Ashu i escalated to Nodal Officer Abha Gupta at : Nodalofficer.[protected]@airtel.in, also tried calling on the number provided at Airtel web site : [protected].

      10] I had also sent multiple SMS on the same number of Abha Gupta, because the number is most of the time unreachable. No response received to the SMS / E-mails. It has been more the 14 days. In Airtel web site response time promised was within 10 days.

      11] On 23rd of Jan i get Vaidank "Nodal office", on the same number of Abha Gupta. On his request i send the escalation e-mail again to the same e-mail address
      Nodalofficer.[protected]@airtel.in.

      12] . Therefore, on 23rd Jan 09 i called Airtel 121 services [[protected]] representative "Somaya" that both the numbers as confirmed by Ashu Agarwal " Airtel Sales Manager" which were active on my name " [protected]/90] were activated on 25th Dec, and are NOT under my name {Kamlesh Jaiswal}. Instead they are under the name of Zaheer Khan. Whom i do not know

      13] I get the post paid bill on 28th Jan. And the numbers on the bill are : [protected]/[protected].
      [protected][protected][protected][protected][protected][protected] -----
      Kindly look into this. My contact number : [protected]. Anytime Mon to Fri between evening 4 to 10 pm
      Sat-sun anytime.

      Hi,

      I have taken a new SIM card for my wife from Airtel. After using it for 2 weeks, I got a call from Airtel stating that the documents have not been correct and hence they de-activated the SIM card. I resubmitted the documents again and ensured that they activate the SIM within 24 hrs of promised time.

      They did activate the SIM card, but however after few days, the SIM was de-registered from the network. The reason being that the documents are not available with Airtel and within a month of purchase if the documents are not submitted, they recycle the SIM Card without informing the consumer. However, 1 month duration is still not over, and they recycled the SIM card and also ate 222 worth of recharge I did on my new SIM card.

      Can someone help me to know what can I do to get a justice from these folks?

        I had a post paid connection no. [protected]. I made request to Airtel to close the connection after making full and final payment vide receipt no. 2297496 dated 22.11.2008. The Airtel representative (Mr Pintu - [protected]) who came to collect the payment has given me in writing "Yeh number band kar diya hai". However I am still getting bill from Airtel to make payment against the above connection. I have been speaking to customer care executives in Airtel who have been confirming to me that the mobile connection no. [protected] is being closed and no more bills will be sent to me.

        Kindly look into the matter and once again I request you to close the connection no. [protected]

          I have taken Airtel prepaid number [protected] from a shop in Sowcarpet area of Chennai from where my number was activated.After few days I got a message from Airtel that I have not submitted my documents so I should do that at the earliest to avoid disconnection.

          After receipt of the message and speaking to customer care executive about the same I resubmitted the documents at Winner Telecom, Phase I, F 31 A, Spencer Plaza, 769 Anna Salai Chennai-02. on 31/01/2009 along with my identity proof in the form of Copy of Passport having Delhi address and Copy of Running Bank Account Statement issued by Andhra Bank(A Nationalized bank) with form and Self Attested photograph as required by Airtel.The form number for the same is 3923142.

          After that again I got a message from Airtel that you have not submitted your document so submit that to avoid disconnection on 09.02.2009.Thereafter my outgoing call was disabled without even informing me.

          On 9th of February I personally went to the Airtel shop at spencer plaza to inquire that why they have not submitted my documents and I was told that since Running Bank account statement can not be taken as proof of address so it has returned from there.

          Now following things need to be clarified for me :

          1.If in the list of documents required to be submitted at the time of taking connection Running Bank account Statement is shown as sufficient for address proof then how can same be rejected as inadequate documents.

          2.Why the number is activated at all without taking proper documents from the customers.

          3.Do the customer have right to claim refund of all the losses that is accruing to him due to negligence or inadequate knowledge of either vendor selling the product of Airtel or its own shops?

          4.Why the Winner Telecom where the documents was submitted is not willing to return the rejected papers.

          5. How the outgoing calls can be stopped without intimating the customers.

          I hope that I would be given reasonable answer for all the above points that I have raised failing which I have other options open.

            First of all I want to communicate to everyone: DO NOT GO FOR NEW AIRTEL CONNECTION IF YOU REALLY THINKING ABOUT IT...

            I had purchased one new SIM from Mobile Store, Sonari, Jamshedpur on 11th Feb'2009. All documents after consultation with AIRTEL officials related to new connection was submitted for activation like Voter ID card, Address Proof, 02 Nos. of pass port size photograph. For address proof I had submitted xerox copy, which was issued from my company in its letter head and duly signed by our HR head.The company where I am working is renowned internationally.

            The next day from the AIRTEL office there was a call for submitting the original copy;they will not accept the xerox copy, inspite of verification done with the orginal by their representative the previous day and accepted for submission of xerox copy.

            Now my question is:
            1. When verification with the original is done and verified, What is the use of the Original? If still in doubt they can visit to the said address and verify the authenticity or contact my company?

            2. Is it correct to harrass the customer, where most of them are busy and find less time for other purpose?

            3. When most of the mobile service provider are accepting the xerox copy after verification with original why not AIRTEL?

            Looking at this I immediately discard the SIM and asked the officials of AIRTEL to return my document and opted for other service provider who gladly accepted the xerox copy and activated the SIM - To everyone surprise it is a Goverment sector service provider whose rules and regulation is more stringent compared to other private owned service provider.

            This is very bad from the part of AIRTEL. If this is the way of dealing with the customer then I will definetly put up this case study in my company for it to rethink about taking corporate connection. We were in the final stage of giving official order for corporate connection.
            Dont hesitate put up the case in Consumer Forum and tell them about your harrassment...

              There has been constant violation by Airtel postpaid marketing (mostly originating from Bannerghatta Airtel office) on my Airtel prepaid connection [protected].


              I have filed a complaint to [protected]@airtelindia.com, on 20th Jan but still the situation has not changed. They do not have right to keep on advertising postpaid connections to all prepaid connections registered for DNDC. This is a case of harassment and violation of DNDC

                in my previously sent complaint i, ve forgotten 2 tell my bhopal, s mobile no which is [protected].
                myself dr vivek shifted to goa medical college goa 6 months back.i, ve a prepaid lifetime sim of airtel bhopal.
                on 11/02/09 at 9 pm i got my this no recharged with 100 rs from one retailer in goa.
                i was supposed to get a talktime balance of 87 rs but i got only 1 rs.i, ve contacted customer careof maharashtra-goa region, they r helpless 2 solve the issue & gave me 1 customer care no of bhopal i.e.[protected] which is not working at all.
                sir pls somebody help n guide what 2 do n to whom to contact n how???????/

                myself Md Wajid Khan residing on Kolkata.i, ve a prepaid sim of aircel Kolkata.
                on 04/01/09 i got my this no recharged with 246 rs from one retailer in Kolkata.
                i was supposed to get a talktime of 600 free minutes balance but i not got any free minute balance.i, ve contacted several times with customer care no.[protected] they promise me to solve the proplem and also give me a complant no i.e P[protected] dt.06/01/09, P[protected] dt.12/01/09 & P[protected] dt04/02/09, but they r helpless 2 solve the issue & every time after registered the complaint they promise me to call back within 48 hours and solve your problem but till date I am not received any answer from the company .
                sir pls somebody help n guide what 2 do n to whom to contact n how???????/
                plz tell me this [protected] he is my friends because i am calling this number he is alway check the number you have dial what is the problems plz tell me.ok

                  My self Yatendra Kumar & my mobile no is [protected], residing west (U.P). Today i got a msg from airtel.

                  (rs 30 pe rs30 ka full talktime aur 30 local airtel minutes FREE.Offer sirf apke liye aue ek baar recharge karne par hi manya, 30 a2a recharge ke 48hrs baad milege)

                  when i was recharged my account with 30 rs I didnt get a any single paise, i was talked to customer care with Mr.Raj, he was said we do not have any information about this msg.

                  My kindly request to airtel company please take core of that type of mistake
                  & i want my money back or gave me that offer which i got msg from ur side.

                    This is ridiculous to receive sms and calls from the airtel customer care executives asking you for friendship...how cheap is that. But it looks that airtel has no respect or responsibility towards their customers' personal information.

                    I am a 27 years old married woman, called up customer care for some information regarding the recharge options. Three hours later(1:00AM) i receive and sms from the same customer care executive, asking for friendship...This has happened to me the second time. First time i assumed that may be it is one person's ill mentality, so why to blame the entire company for that...but after experiencing the same thing after fours years again in a different city of India, I am bound to think that its a very common and favorite practice in AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE CENTRES...very sad...there is one set of people who always fight for women empowerment in India and here is another set of people who can never rise above the mal-practice of women sexual harassment!!

                    Is there a single airtel representative who can expain this???

                    I am bound to share this experience with as many people as I can and specially with all the females whom i know to save them from this harassing experience and ask them to stop using Airtel Services...

                      hello Airtel mangement

                      i m purchase a new prepaid contection dated 25/01/2008 i submitted airtel landline and pan card zerox copy document but your office not accepts i m second time submitted Sbi fornt copay for the purpose of address proof and pan card. my no is incoming call active 10/02/2009 but outgoing call not active. plz think about you company reputation due to leading company. plz rectify my problem is out going call not active.

                        I had cancelled my post paid connection 4 months ago, i tried to contact airtel gallery (borivali(W), as well as hot line phone, but they are not responding to my complaint, It seems neither the staff nor the company is intrested in my complaint, They want to digest my deposit. i think beside reminding again & again i have to move to consumer court for refund as well as MENTAL HARRESMENT.

                        MY AIRTEL NO:- [protected] (WAS), NEW CONTACT NO:-[protected].
                        LAST BILL D:- 12-SEP-2008.

                            We went to big bazaar on the 25 of January, 2009 to purchase two airtel digital TV sets. During that time your airtel representative had advertised us your airtel digital TV set scheme {representative’s name is Ujjal Borah}. We wanted to buy two of your airtel digital TV sets, so we asked him about we going to get. he said he would contact the “airtel” higher authority to enquire about the scheme. half an hour later, he said if we purchase the two digital TV set up box, the price of the two TV sets would be Rs 1099/ each. He would also deliver Rs 250 each in the account of both the sets {that is Rs 500}
                            On the 27 of January, 2009, evening, your engineer came to install both of the digital TV sets. he came to install only one disc antenna for both the set up box. We asked that if he had installed only one antenna for two set up box, what is the profit we are Going to get. I said that the airtel digital TV sets which i had purchased were on two separate bills{big bazaar bill no 57/t63, 58/t63}. We came to realize from your engineer that my ID is 1 and because of this they had connected as a primary and secondary connections. I was quite surprised and said that if I have purchased the two digital TV sets on two separate bills, also for two separate families. so it is quite difficult for monthly recharge combinely. then your engineer connected me to your sales executive Manager ”Mr. Tridip sharma” {phone no [protected]}. then he said that the big bazaar had made my id 1{which i was unaware of} and received a package of Rs 500/ for set up box. He said to take up the package for one month, then he said he would make me two ID separately for two connection . So, for one month, we enjoyed the package.
                            Suddenly on 4 of february, 2009, the connection was snapped. When I Confirmed on toll free no, to my uttermost surprise, we came to know there were no such type of packages of Rs 500/ free for one ID, two digital set up box... We complained to big bazaar, after which the fourth floor Incharge “Mr. Abhisekh” {phone no [protected]} said it was total cheating and asked if we wanted back the money or wanted to compromise. I said I wanted my two separate IDS for two separate families, which is according to my separate bills. He connected me again to Mr. Tridip sharma. Mr. Sharma said all this was due to miss- communication between airtel and us, also already he had communicated with airtel head office through e- mail and there is no such type of package available for big bazaar and he said only to recharge. He also promised to solve the problem within two days not only for setting up two antennas but also for two separate IDS.
                            After recharging i have got my channels back, but according to his promise He has not taken any further steps towards installation. On 7th february, 2009, the whole day I tried to connect Mr. Tridip sharma, but he did not receive the phone. At last, in the evening his sub- coordinate attended my call and said that he knew my problem from Mr. Tridip sharma. He gave me advice to complain to the toll free no and say my complaint, After which they (toll free no) would give me a complaint number and against this complaint number they would solve my problem. But things happened opposite my expectations when they said {member of the toll free no} that there are no such facilities available. and for two ids I have to pay separately.

                            I expect your quick response and reply regarding this matter and take necessary solution immediately.

                            AIRTEL DIGITAL T.V.'S CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE IS VERY POOR. HOLDING TELEPHONE FOR MORE THAN FIVE MINUTES PER CALL TO CUSTOMER CARE ULTIMATELY FAIL TO CONNECT A CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE. I HAVE TRIED THREE TO FOUR TIMES TO GET A CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE, BUT ALL I COULD GET IS SHEER DISAPPOINTMENT.COMPLAINT REGISTRATION THROUGH E-MAIL IS ALSO SEEMS TO BE INEFFECTIVE. MY COMPLAINT VIA E-MAIL ON DATED:07.03.2009 & 13.03.2009, THOUGH ARE DULY ACKNOWLEDGED BY CUSTOMER CARE TEAM, HAS FAILED TO SETTLE MY COMPLAINT. SIMILAR BAD EXPERIENCE I ENCOUNTERED, WHEN THE SET TOP BOX STARTED MAL FUNCTIONING, MY REPEATED E-MAILS, PHONE CALLS AND EVEN E-MAIL TO THE NODAL OFFICER, U.P.COULD RESOLVE THE PROBLEM AFTER MANY DAYS. DEFECTIVE SET TOP BOX WAS REPLACED. NOW, THE REMOTE DOES NOT WORK TO BROWSE BETWEEN GENRES, IT IS STUCK ON FIRST SLOT-ENTERTAINMENT, SO CHOICE OF CHANNELS IN 'ENTERTAINMENT' ONLY COULD BE VIEWED THROUGH QUICK VIEW OPTION. NO REGARDS TOWARDS CUSTOMER'S COMPLAINTS EARN BAD NAME TO AIRTEL. AIRTEL AUTHORITIES SHOULD LOOK INTO THE MATTER TO PROVIDE HASSLE FREE SERVICES TO THE CUSTOMERS.
                            I bought airtel phone and 3 digital packages, the custommer service is really terreble, bloody ridiclus, they only think they are smart on business. Although they are on a very demand on the business, they are very good in frustrating and damaging customer relations.

                            Every one says oh, Airtel is very big companny and very good, but i am dealing with my phone sisce 2 weeks, in the end i lost 300Rs. i have to throw 2 digital box to bin, because they very proudly says, oh, u can do every thing on internet, but i dont know how much they are aware of that internet registration process. I try to fill my date of birth but i can only add the birth month and year, not date, without date the process dosent qualify me to be able to use the internet to view my information or do the payments.

                            Guess how many poor people are suffering like me, I hope the Airtel authorities are looking in to this for improvements,

                            Dear Sir/Mam,

                            I demand an explanation for the customer support provided by Airtel and also want to bring the fact that the service is truely not up to the mark. There is a big communication gap that exists in the organization. I had also asked for the SLA and also made a request to forward my call to their senior executives...but they only keep the phone on hold...and then the phone is disconnected. This shows that the organization persist with a big hindrance.

                            No one is there to solve the issue...under mentioned are the problem that I am still facing with AIRTEL DIGITAL TV.

                            My subscription Id is [protected] / Bangalore.

                            I made a complain on 9th April 2011 morning and the time fixed to resolve this issue was 5 pm in the evening of the same day. But neither I received any call from AIRTEL SUPPORT TEAM nor i got any call from the technical team or any technical person who visits for resolving issues.

                            Again i raised the issue with customer care on the same day i.e 9th of April 2011, the concern executive said that the ticket is still open and the issue will be reolved by 3:30pm on 10th of april 2011. Then meanwhile i received a call from Airtel whose number is [protected]. The concern person gave me the number [protected] on which i made a call and spoke to the concern person and stated my problems. He also said that he will send the technical person to resolve the issue; but fortunately nether i received any call nor no one has visited to solve the problem.

                            Till 6pm i did not received any call or any SMS form AIRTEL and their concern teams to resolve my issue.

                            Again I called in evening of 10th April, then I got the complain registered and I received the complain number 6816701.

                            Today 11th April 2011, time 12:30 PM and still i have not received any message or technical person to resolve the issue.

                            Please try to resolve my problem ASAP.

                            I am very regretful to second time inform you that, regarding your service and deduction of my Balance Amount, I have to inform you that my pack monthly charge is 174/- per month, but you have deducted always 200.00 per month.
                            When I call to your customer care a person attn to my call Mr. Nilesh (your representative), he said to me I was booked a film once upon time in Mumbai, movie on 29th Oct’2011, but when I ask regarding details of booking, he told me, that it’s mistake from your end no booked any film from my end, and suggests me for call after 1 hour then he will return back to excess deduct money and add to my current Balance.
                            Second time when I call after 1 hour to your customer care Mr Pramod (your representative)attn to my call and told me that my monthly Pack is 193/- how it’s possible. I m continue said to your representative person that, I want to talk with your senior (Team Ledger) but they can’t my call transfer to his seniors and can’t help me regarding this problem.

                            Past 4-5 month my pack charge is 160/- per month, past 3-4 month a massage came from your end that my pack Rate has change, new rate is 158+tax = 174. Now your representative Please look in to the matter and return back my rest balance amount to my Airtel digital T.V account.

                                I have given the SIM Card bearing No. [protected] by the Bakul Enterprises, Jaistambh Square, Amaravati, Maharashtra. After 3 months, I got the problem with the SIM. Therefore, I went the above shop where I had purchase the SIM, I got surprized to know that above number is in the name of other person. I have made several correspondence with this number therefore, I requested to allot me the above number, but nobody i.e shopkeeper / company is listening me. I also went to Airtel Company office (Cherish Mobility, Vinus Plaza, Shegaon Naka, Amaravati) with this problem but they are not taking due care of the problem.

                                  To Whom So Ever It May Concern,

                                  I own a broadband connection through your company with phone number[protected].I want to bring to your notice the pathetic service I have received from your customer care team and the unwanted harassment I have been through in the past two months .

                                  My Grievances:

                                  I had called your customer care on the 7th of January from one of your outlets in Karkhana, Secunderabad .Asking for the service to be discontinued as the person who was using the connection has left the country .The customer care person told me that she would call back within the next 45 minutes as her system wasn’t working and had a network failure .As usual this didn’t happen as your customer care is well known for not living up to customer expectations.

                                  At the end of the month, I received a fresh bill for that month for Rs. 811 which I never used. Why should I pay the bill amount when it the fault of your representative for not following up with the customer?

                                  I call your customer car again and finally get hold of a person who doesn’t even know to speak English properly. Rather than getting my problem sorted, he kept asking me why didn’t I call back again if didn’t get any help in the first instance . Isn’t it the duty to you as a company to follow up with your customers rather than me trying to get hold of your guys ??

                                  He finally takes a request to cancel the connection and gives me a reference number and promises that the goods would be collected with the next five days which didn’t happen at all till date . Yet again a good example of the pathetic service from AIRTEL.

                                  I had requested that the sum of Rs.500 which was taken as a deposit for the connection by your sales representative to be refunded as we have cancelled the connection. The customer care representative told me that this wouldn’t be refunded as it was a fee for broadband. WHY WAS I LIED TO AT THE POINT OF SALE BY YOUR COMPANY??

                                  In the next few days I receive calls from 6 different managers from different cities trying to convince me to transfer the connection. I had to repeat the same old story to all the people but I guess they don’t understand what is being told to them . I DON’T WANT THIS CONNECTION at all . Don’t you guys understand that ???

                                  As I write to you I am so disturbed that I will spread the good word to all my friend and colleagues and let them know how you guys fool your customers.( There was a time where I was so pleased with your service that I had recommended you to almost 15 connections at my work place. I guess it was pure miss-judgment on my part.

                                  ACTION REQUIRED:

                                  I want a reply to this mail within the next 48 hours failing which I will be forced to send you a legal notice regarding the same.

                                  I want my connection to be removed immediately without any further questions from anybody.

                                  I want the bill amount of Rs. 811 to be removed and be given a written confirmation for the same .

                                  I want the deposit amount of Rs. 500 to be refunded and require a written confirmation for the same as well.

                                    My customer ID of Airtel Digital TV is [protected]. I had logged a complain no 549254 regarding all my services has been blocked on Saturday 7th 12:30 AM. When I had called the customer care they told me that this has happened because of wrong billing on their behalf. It has been almost 63 hours since this complain has been logged but my services has not been restored as yet.

                                    I have paid to Advance payment in One Year Subscription. But compant disconet my service & say officer ( Customer care ) first re-charge your account then after soul your probulm.

When I had called the customer care they told me that this has happened because of wrong billing on their behalf.                                     i had booked Airtel Digitel Tv through online transaction 3 weeks back and i got an error while coming back from bank site to digitel tv , again i had tried the same after some time and got the same error.

                                    RS 3250 * 2 = 6500 has been deducted from the account for the same and i didnt receive any customer ID for the same both time. i sent mail to [protected]@Airtel.in at least 7 times and first 2 times they asked me to provide the details of transaction. For last one week i am not getting any update for that also . i called up customer care 12150 and they told they are not able to check all this .

                                    I am regular user of Airtel Digital TV . My Account number is [protected]. I have got a call of Airtel Executive from 10 day back. He told me that there is 1500/rs shows in my account & it will run for next 12 month but if I except his offer then I have got 1 More month extra. I clearly told him that those channel which is running presently should not be disturb & he assure me that there will be no change in your current channel but today I see in TV that my most of the channel is not coming so I call to Airtel CC number & Airtel Customer Care Representative response me that my package is change by Airtel. I complain him for this but he cut the phone.

                                    In Second incident when I complain to Customer Care Airtel for this incident he revert me that if i want to upgrade my channel then Amount of rs 1300/- will adjust in new packege then i revert him that please provide me megapack so he told me that for megapack near about 1600/ rs is required in my account so please recharge minimum 500 rs in your A/C so i recharge my a/c by my credit card immidiately and call again to Airtel CC. One more problem is with Customer Care that each & every time when we call Representative will change than i again explain him he say that yes we can change & upgrade your current pack to new Pack & it will takes 4 hrs to upgrade.When channel not start after 4 hrs then i again call then they told me that due to some techanical reason it will takes time of more 2 hrs.Next day when i call Air tel told me that it will takes 72Hrs to upgrade. Near about 6 days left no change is occure then i again call Airtel than a representative Mr. Mayank told me that in your a/c fund is insufficient so i revert him that allready 1300/- rs in present pack & 761/- extra amount also present so collectively 2000/rs is present then he reply me that no sir if you change your pack your previous amount will lapse. I was socked that called Airtel for misselling rather then solving my problem then again Missell with me.

                                    Brand like Airtel is done this kind of think. I need my full money with Compensation at any cost.

                                    On 09.06.10 I booked ECO pack for Rs.1, 590/- and paid immediately thru.telephonic IVR transfer thru.colleague's HDFC credit card. Had to cancel the same the very next day due to personal reasons. Duly informed customer care dept..
                                    Transaction ID no.9175066 and booking id is [protected].
                                    I was assured and confirmed by customer care official that my cancellation request was accepted and the refund of Rs.1, 590/- would be made within 2-3 days.
                                    However, it is yet to happen till now despite my repeated reminders over mail and phone. I have so far rung up customer care more than 25 times and talked to different executives explaining the same old sob story again and again. Everytime I am told that his/her higher officer would speak to me within one hour or three hours and sort out. Practically there is no response from them for my mails. I do not know whom to contact now. My last mail is on 14.08.10 as per different mail id given by Mr.Mohamed over phone.

                                    Is there any reliable source to seek remedy for this one-way communication or cry for refund? Pl.help.

                                    Airtel does so very often. When you buy airtel DTH connection, be prepared to shell out lot of money, with average quality of service.

                                    All they say is - We are sorry for the inconvenience caused. But we cannot help you. (read: Ha ha. Now that you are stuck, we will bleed you of your money slowly)

                                        why no response to so many complaints?
                                        I have a land-line cum broadband connection taken from your company during June 2006 in the name of my father, Y. Sambasiva Rao.. The telephone number is[protected] and the Account Number is 12030048. At the time of taking the connection, my father had a mobile No.[protected], which he lost subsequently and never had any mobile thereafter.
                                        I have all along been paying the monthly bills through your authorised agencies but I now want to switch over to e-payment. I have been requesting for allotting me a user ID and Password for opening the account with you so that all future bills could be paid by me on-line. My request to your customer care is dated9-2-2009, following by two complaints, besides several telephonic requests but there is no response in this regard from your side.
