I have been facing the continuous internet disconnection problem past 3 weeks. i complianted so many times. 3 or 4 times their service engineer has come but problem hasn't resolved yet. for every two days, their call center people are calling and asking whether problem has solved or not? continuously i am giving the same answer that the problem hasn't sorted out.
so, i am requesting airtel people that please let me know whether u people can solve the problem or not. i[censored] are unable to sort out then i will go for some other new connection.

    I am very disappointed by the service offered by Airtel and the worst is that no body is there to listen, all gives you the false statements.

    I have been AirTel customers since 2 years. In general I’m happy with the products and services which you have to offer even though the network is not so clear since couple of months and yet managing hoping for improvement in near future.

    In the month of April-May, Ms. Priya who was working for your partner at vijayanagar called and pestered me to buy ADD-ON Sim and promised me the best services in the new scheme. In fact I requested her not to call me and bug for add on sim as I didn’t know what to do with it.


    I was stunned to see an executive at home on the same evening requesting for my photo and told me not to bother about the address proof etc as he told me that he’ll get back to me for address proof requirement but never turned back, but somehow I received a sim with the number [protected].
    After couple of days, Ms. Priya again called me and asked me to start using the sim without bothering about the bill as it SHALL BE ADDED with the parent number ([protected])


    But contrary to what I was assured and to my shock I received a separate bill. When I called up Ms. Priya, she contradicted her previous statement by saying that I will receive TWO separate bills and that it was NOT an add on card and that the scheme had got over by the time I booked. After this in spite of me making several calls, I never got any response and got to know that Ms. Priya left the job.

    Further, I not only refused to pay the bill but also questioned AirTel as to how they could provide me a sim without ME signing the document. Later, without any intimation I started receiving the add on sim’s bill amount to the parent number which I paid without noticing.

    The next step taken by me was to disconnect the add on sim number, ie [protected], all incoming and outgoing calls were barred……..sill I started receiving the minimum bill amount to the parent bill which I refused to pay.

    Last week, on November 23rd night, without any prior notice, the outgoing call of the parent number [protected] was barred because of which I incurred a HUGE loss of business. And had frantically called [protected], your executive Mr. Dilip (Ref. no.[protected] And the next day I spoke to Ms. Shilpa (Ref no.[protected] dated 25th November requested him to activate the outgoing calls but it did not happen. I had undergone a lot of mental torture due to non availability of outgoing calls as it affected my business a lot.

    I would like to bring the following points to your kind info:

    1. I did not sign any agreement for the add on sim which was provided by Ms. Priya, which amounts to forgery! My signature can be verified in the parent number.
    2. As I have been your loyal customer since two years, I request you to reconnect my parent number without any further delay.
    3. As far as the add on sim is concerned, I shall clear the dues if and only if the documentation part is proved.
    4. If the parent number is not activated within the next 12 hrs, I will be forced to take legal action based on forgery & harassment, and Loss of business due to barring of outgoing calls for 10 days without prior written notice.

    To wrap up I really want to remain a loyal AirTel customer but I am extremely frustrated by your attempts to lock me into a long term contract.

    I beg you to reconsider how you treat your customers and “Reward” us for our loyalty rather then punish us!

      I applied for broadbend connection in april-may 2008 and pay Rs.1000.after my money was refunded after 10 days by saying, that we do not have pair for connection.After few month.Mr Omprakash contect me and confirm that we have fecility to give you connection. and he collect rs. 1000 on 31st august 2008.I am waiting till today, have called omprakash/mr ghanty/ti nodel agency. neither I got connection nor my money back.Air tel should return my money with panelty.

        The above No was being used as a post paid number and after the expiry of the plan, the same was converted into a Pre Paid numberfor which the documents were submitted to Airtel office at Fateh nagar New Delhi( Shibatel), who lost them. The docts were again submitted alogwith photo and the number became operational after a few days.After 15-20 days, a message was received about failure of address verification.I immediately contacted Airtel Customer Care, who confirmed that there was no such enquiry pending.It was actually confirmed by the Shift manager at that time.The confirmation can be obtained from call record.After a week, the number was closed.I had not only converted the number as a lifitime pre paid but had also recharged and put a pack in that number.
        I therefore request u to please look into the matter as no one had ever tried to do the address verification as no visit was made by anybody at my residence or No Contact made.
        Secondly since the number was initially a post paid no, the address verification was probably not required.
        Thirdly the staff posted at your Shibatel Office would ensure that nobody should ever take an Airtel Connection.
        Presntly I am posted at Rajkot and I had a postpaid Airtel No-[protected] which I closed and took a Tata No instead.On closure I received a letter from Airtel for continuing the services. Tell me in the circumstances, would anybody dare to have an Airtel Connection. I have already spent may be 24 hours of my active time to speak to Airtel and calls for an app. amt of Rs200/-plus

          Hi,
          I am using airtel postpaid no. [protected] in bangalore, karnatka. they have blocked the services to my home mo.[protected], jharkhand circle(BSNL).

          I have lodge a complaint on 27nov.2008, complaint no.[protected], & they had given me time limit of 2nd dec within which they told me that service will be restored to this number. now today is 4th dec, 2008 & they have not doing anything about my complaint. evertime they are saying we are working on it. for last 10 days airtel people are giving me the same excuse.

          Now, from today 4th Dec, 2008 they have blocked my customer care facility no. 121 voice service also, so that i can, t speak to any of the customer care people.

          sir, if we customer not able to make payment in time these people are charging penalty as well as disconnect the connection, & now these people are doing all the crabs for last 10 days .

          What, I can do against Airtel. I want to take strong action against them for negligence of service as well as penalty.

          Please suggest.

            Hi,

            We had registered for Airtel broadband use on the 3rd of November. Your Customer care executive ( Senthil - [protected]) had promised to get it operational within 4 working days. It has been a month now and the Landline/ broadband is not yet operational.

            i have also received my first bill for services that I have not used. I would like to know howcome AIRTEL has charged us without first making our broadbacd/ Landline operational..

            All calls to SENTHIL go unattended.

            I request immediate disconnection of the NON-FUNCTIONAL landline at our residence as I am not willing to pay any bills for the same,

            Airtel Broadband — connection not yet done

            I had shifted my residential premises and requested for connection to be relocated. Airtel did honour that in a few days time after receiving all documentations and Cash.I gave all the documents and cash for relocation of shifting,i have all the bills with me and instument modem.Then after one month a call came from customer care executive that he will be coming on that day for connection but no one exxecutive came i have to travel,so i also gave my bigbrothers number they also call on my brothers cell and told that they coming for connection but till no no response.i am irritated of all this false commitment.and my phone no is [protected].

            Airtel — landline connection not given but charges are collected

            land line connection is not yet given .every month charges are collected in the bill.

              I HAVE A LIFETIME PREPAID CONNECTION NO.[protected] FOR THE LAST 3 YEARS.

              ON 17th Nov. 2008 MY MOBILE PHONE WAS MISPLACE. I LODGE A COMPLAINT IN POLICE STATION AND GOT A NEW SIM CARD FROM EXCELL COMM. NEW FREINDS COLONY NEW DELHI AFTER GIVING ALL THE ID AND RESIDENSE PROFFS ON 18th NOV.2008.

              BUT TODAY IS 04/12/2008 AND MY NUMBER IS NOT YET STARTED.

              I COMPLAINT TO CUSTOMER CARE OF AIRTEL BUT THEY ASK THAT THE NUMBER CAN BE START BY THE EXCELL COMM. ONLY.

                  How could a posh area in Greater Noida be left uncovered for signal strength rendering airtel connections literally unusable for such a long period.

                    Billing query

                    Dear All,

                    I had the bill of 3385.00. I did not paid the bill as i had a billing queries..So late payment charges were levied. One day i receive the call from chennai and that people informed me that if i pay 3100 rs there will waive 285.oo so i had paid 3100 rs..the guy who called from chennai made the false promise and no everytime am getting calls from airtel asking me to pay 285.oo rs..everytime i am pissed off expalining...

                    I am an Airtel customer since last five years(too loyal, I think).
                    I have been usinf erecharging service and was satisfied with it.

                    On 8/11/2008 I got my E recharge from K.K communication, university
                    market, Kurukshetra university, kurukshetra for an amount of Rs.333/-at
                    about 6pm.He used one of his three numbers [protected], [protected] and
                    [protected].He told me the Erecharge has been done.I was not carrying
                    my mobile at that time. when i checked my mobile I found that no E
                    recharge has been done.
                    When I talked to the person at K K Communication he was not much
                    forthcoming.He told me he has no ways to confirm what has gone wrong.I
                    asked him as we have the date and approx time it will be posasible to
                    get the records from Airtel and confirm what has goine wrong.Nothing
                    has materialized till now.

                    I have paid the money and I want amount credited to my account.What
                    way you can help me, please let me know.

                          I have sent the below complaint on 21st November and I got a reply from airtel after a week asking for an alternate number to verify my address. And I provided the same and does'nt got any reply yet and even after repeated attempts I was not able to contact the airtel nodal officer mumbai on phone. So my humble request is 'Stay Away From Airtel'.

                          ""Dear Sir,

                          Myself Mr. Anish Sivaram and an airtel customer for the last 2 years. My no. is [protected]. Last 4 months back or so i changed my connection from Post paid to Pre-paid. Then I was asked to submit the Address proof and all and I submitted the same with Airtel Gallery Vashi, Mumbai. After one month or so I got a message in my no. that my verification is wrong and I resubmitted the documents again at the same place and ter was no problem for another one month or so.

                          On nov. 11 I received another message stating that your verification is wrong and visit the airtel gallery within next 48 hrs or so. As instructed I visited the Vashi Airtel gallery again on[protected] and explained the problem. Then they advised that i will get a call with in next 48 hrs. and your connection will not get disconnected by that time.

                          I didn't got any call from airtel and irrespective my connection also got disconnected. Again I went to the same gallery on[protected] and explained the situation. Then they conveyed that you will get a verification call within another 48 hrs. and my connection will be restored. Infact I even provided an alternate contact no. as well[protected]. But nothing worked out and I am still getting the message "your call cannot be completed and submit the required documents immediately with the nearest airtel gallery immediately". Sorry to say that your reception at the said gallery is so bad and no one will dare to visit there again.

                          Then I called your customer care people and explained them about the situation. First time ie on 20.11.2008, the person informed me that there is some internal connection problem and she cannot restore my phone connection.

                          Again I made a call on 21.11.2008, and the guy is advising that he is helpless and visit the gallery and got the problem corrected.

                          The gallery people are saying always that you will get a call within 48 hrs. and the customer care people are advising to meet the gallery people to restore this problem.

                          I will highly appreciate to have your advice and restoration of my conenction latest by[protected], so that I can decide about switching to a better service provider if nothing works out by the time.

                            hi this has been a very dissappointing moment for me to write to you..that i recently changed my wireless internet data plan from 3 gb for 675 rs to 2 gb for 450 rs. I unfortunetly failed to understand that i even dont use the 2 gb completely and the airtel sends me the bill for 533 rs for a plan of 2 gb.. also its really very dissappointing because there has been instances where the internet works at snails pace while purchasing this the sale personnel told that i would give a speed upto 3 mbps..however i see doesnot go up even 100 kbps ...

Before some days i have applied for blocking my card, and finally my card is block now. after that your bank suggested me that i will receive my new card within 7 working days. Today at 5:45 i got a call from Blue dart malad that there is a credit card for me. But the courier guy has told me that he didn't stay for 10 minutes. and he told that he will put the comment that customer is not avail.And my card will go back to chennai. I want my card tomorrow between 10 to 11 am in my office. So plz inform them to deliver my card as soon as possible

                                    My problems with Airtel lies as below. In spite of my several written complaints and their assurances, these problems are still not resolved. I tried to contact customer care as well as nodal officer Mumbai and Appellate officers as well but all in vain.
                                    1. Facing severe network problem in my area and also find network problem in several other areas of Mumbai. Complaint several times, assured of resolution within 6 days each time. No resolution since about two years now.
                                    2. Not getting missed call alerts even after subscribing and getting assurance of service activation from customer care. complaint several times without any resolution.
                                    3. Unable to contact customer care representatives now from my mobile on 121 and 198. Updated to Airtel several times but again without resolution till date.
                                    4. Appellate officer and nodal officer Mumbai are not responding on numbers + 91 [protected], +[protected] and + 91 [protected] (please note these numbers are given in Airtel's website www.airtel.in). Getting no response on these numbers even after connection.
                                    5. Also subscribed for Airtel data card 599 unlimited plan. Unable to use in full due to network. During subscription I was informed about the separate EDGE network and good speed by the Airtel Outlet.

                                    This is for your kind information that, I had booked 2 post paid mobile line on 23/7/09 & issued cheque of Rs. 1000/- on the same day. I was promised that both the connection will be activated within 3 days. After 4th day till today I must have vested Rs 500/- vide telephone calls made to various officers for activation of above lines. Till today that is 30th July both the lines are not activated & I am unable to use the same. I am terribly disturbed & frustrated with your services and take the oath of never to take Airtel connection in future, and will never advised anybody else for the same. I will be discontinuing both the lines after 1 month, which please note. I will be highly obliged if you will convey this to your managing director suppose to be Mr Sunil Mittal.                                     I am Vishal Phanase & my customer ID is [protected].
                                    I had taken Air tel DTH South Value Pack on 5.7.2009 because I like the channels included in that package, also I added some of the Top ups as per my convinience where I wants to see more channels which my family like.Till 6.2.2010 all the services was good.
                                    On 7.2.2010 I got a call from telephone number [protected] at 4.38pm on which the contact person told me that my South Value Pack has been expired and going forwards it will get converted in to a South Super Value Pack in which company is going to add 30 more channels & 10 radio stations for which I need to pay Rs.121/- per month instead of Rs.110/- but when I told him I dont want this information verbally, I want a hard copy for the same but he argued & told me that this is just the information call for you & he disconnected the call.
                                    From the same day I am not able to view below mentioned channels.
                                    Bindas, Hungama, 9X, 9XM, All Teugu & Kannada Channels.
                                    I called to customer care number 12150 on 8.2.2010 but 1st Two executives disconnected the call one of them is Mr.Tyson.At 3rd time Mr.Gulam Abbas received the call & when I asked him he transffered the call to Mr.Harsha Pawar (Team Leader) but I did not got the satisfactory resolution from him as he was telling me for 9X & 9XM I need to add Top up of Rs.16/- which is not acceptable so I asked to transfer the call to his senior & he transffered it to Mr.Vikas Pujari (Duty Manager).He raised the complaint for the same on 8.2.2010 at 10.11pm for which complaint number is 1903900 and he gave me the commitement till 10.2.2010 I will get the resolution callback from Back end team or he will give me a resolution callback.
                                    From 9.2.2010 I was able to see All Telugu and Kannada Channels.
                                    On 10.2.2010 Mr.Vikram gave me a call from tel number [protected] at 10.25am stating he is from Back end team.He told me the same thing as Harsha Pawar told me.He gave me one more option that he was giving me the waiver for 9X & 9XM but it was only for 1 month which is also not acceptable.In telephonic conversation of 38 minutes finally he told me that I can change the South Super Value Pack to South Value Pack by sending some kind of SMS & for the same updations he told me that he will give me a call after 10-15 minutes but he did not gave me any resolution callback regarding the same.
                                    Today in the afternoon I called to customer care number & spoke to Mr.Pratik, he transferred the call to Mr.Harsha Pawar at 1.56pm where the call duration was 24.44 minutes but in overall call Harsha was telling me to accept the changed Package but where I was disagree he told me that he is going to arrange a callback within next 2 hours but nobody gave me a call & finally I called you on telephone number [protected] at 4.16pm for 3.53minutes where you told me you are going to give me a callback after 15-20 minutes but still...

                                    Yesterday on 11.2.2010 I received One message from TM-digitalT at 5.57pm stating "Dear Customer, Your Complaint registered with Aitrel DTH has been resolved.SMS<SAT> if you are satisfied else SMS <UNSAT> in case you are not satisfied at 53030" which is totally wrong & not acceptable.Then I called to customer care number 12150 on 11.2.2010 at 10.03pm for same compalint number 1903900, Mr.Amit received the call & told me that my complaint has been resolved so asked to transfer the call to senior executive so he transferred the call to Mr.Srinivas Raju but he also told me the same thing and told me that I can not change that package & while giving this information he was rude on call which is inadequate.I have each and every call recorded with me so if you want I can forward those call as attachment.
                                    So this is my humble request to you Himanshu please convert that South Super Value pack in to South Value Pack or I will disconnect your service & definitly I will take a legal action.

Few days back I went out of station and I temporarily shut down the gprs. When I returned I found my balance gone into -12 Rs. When I inquired airtel says your model of the day service was active and so they charged me. Actually I never started or used this service. But airtel says you have activated the service and refused to give refund. The same this is happening with my friends. Airtel activates the service like hallo tune or cricket alert, charges customer and say you have activated it. On request they deactivate the service and refuse to pay refund. I dont know why we use airtel. I am planning to shift to new operator.

                                    This is Arunava Bhattacharjee. My airtel digital tv a/c no. [protected]. From new delhi I was relocated in Navi Mumbai on 6th of November'10.
                                    I was told by ur tele caller to recharge my tv a/c with Rs. 300/- for reinstallation of the same. So I have paid Rs. 300/- + Rs. 100/- extra, i.e. total of Rs. 400/- against my a/c no. [protected] on 13th of this month.

                                    From that day to till now no engineer from your end has come to resolve my problem. Today is 2nd December'10, and I have only the next date. I was given date of 16th ref no. 4478699. Then on 18th ref no. 4478699. Then 19th ref no. 4512053. Then on 20th ref no. 4530298.

                                    More over my daily charge for this a/c is debiting on daily basis, even though reinstallation has not been processed yet.

                                    Please help me...

                                    After repeated complaints both written and verbal and scores of complaint nos., the latest being 34809121 dt. 2-12-10, i have not recieved even a single pie out of balance deposit not to mention the 3 years interest on it.

                                    I m so sorry to send this appreciation over here, infact i tried to get the nodal officer site but not been able to get there, so sorry for the inconvenience caused.

                                    This is to bring to ur notice that madam Dikshita has been able to do retention for me as an Airtel customer as i was about to switch to another network service provider.

                                    She was calm, patience n polite enough that i was whelmed at. Very rare i have come across such polished language n courteous behaviour.She resolved my query in no time which means she has got good product n process knowledge.This query of mine was not getting resolved from months n I had decided to close my connection but . . . . . . . . Ms Dikshita is GREAT

                                    Airtel — Airtel refusing to return advance after switching to another operator

                                    I had taken an Airtel cellular connection in February 2007 (reference id: [protected]). The first bill sent by Airtel contained an additional charge of Rs. 299/=. Upon enquiring with Airtel, I was told:

                                    "We would like to inform you that in every first bill (or after the bill plan change), there is always an advance charge (for next one billing month plus the current month) for the bill plan rental. In your next invoice, there will be only the advance rental of the next month and not for that particular month."

                                    I applied for MNP in June 2011. After months of frivolous objections, my request was granted and I finally got to move to a new operator on August 10, 2011. Now Airtel is refusing to credit back the additional charge of Rs. 299/= that was levied on my first bill (that they refer to as advance charge). Moreover, I'm being threatened to pay a sum of Rs. 118/= and am being overwhelmed with calls for the same.

                                    As is the case with Airtel, trying to make them aware of the facts doesn't help. They refuse to give any clear answer and simply persist with nasty calls and messages.

                                    I WAS a satisfied customer of Airtel until last month. on 30th Spet, 2011 the outgoing facility of the phone was disconnected. The payment was done the same day. After repeated complaints over last 5 days, the outgoing calls have not been activated. I have raised a disconnection order (As they say the docket number : 5112712). I am also talking to my lawyer to see if i can take this matter to the consumer court.

                                      Dear Sir,

                                      I have taken a new postpaid airtel mobile with gprs facility connection in the name of my father in law (yashwant Anant Chavan) from your excutive Mr. Devraj Vishwakarma. The name of the postpaid plan is new good value 199 and the (mobile no. is [protected]) I have also submit the all documents, except residential proof address. After six days my outgoing calls are banned. So I tell Mr .Devraj I about this situation and also I submit above docs. after one week. After 4 days my sim not working properly and there is message is coming on mobile registration fail. So I contact Mr. Devraj, he says I will give new sim. After 7 to days gone till date I have not received new sim. Why this type of service you to your customer. So I am not interested to your postpaid mobile connection, so give me my rs. 300 deposit amt.
