I would like to thank first of all that you have created this site for consumer protection. Well I had purchased a reliance SIM and they told me to deliver it at me address within two working days but, now almost 2 months have been gone and they are are careless and they didn't deliver it to me. And the faculities of reliance outlet in jammu region in Gandhi Nagar hosted by Ismail Overseas is not co-operative . They always give date and excuses for anything. So please take a reasonable action on them. I would appericiate it if you will do it.

    I had taken SIM card(phone no. [protected]) for my grandmother in October which was blocked, saying that we have not submitted the documents.For your kind information, we had submit documents twice to the retailer.If some miscommunication is there between you and retailer the why should customer suffer.Later, I personally went to Airtel office at Vega Center, Pune, with the documents, your staff was rude, unethical and non professional.They told me that SIM was recycled and that no. was given to someone else.
    Being a law student form University of Pune, I request you to take the necessary action against the particular staff member and do something about my SIM otherwise, unwantedly I will have to approach Consumer Forum.

      I have a student plan SIM bought when I enrloled in to the Engineering college. I was told the GPRS service is available and I got a big recharge of Rs 600/- after sometime the validity of the SIM was expiring and I got the same recharged anticipating the recredit of the avialble Balance in the revalidated SIM.

      I am at a loss to understand tha the services are restored withpout the balance available and no body clearly indicates the reason for the non recredit of the balnce.

      If this is one case probably there may be many cases of cheating going unreported CAN I GET THE JUDICIOUS RECREDIT OF THE BALANCE AVAILABLE IN MY REVALIDATED SIM ON RECHARGING.

        My Internet and my connected Landline number is not working for past 3-4 days and I have ried to book a compliant and there is no resolution till date. I am facing lot of problem as I have to make calls at the time o[censored]sing Internet .
        Earlier also I had compliant regarding the internet speed .

        Plz resolve the issues because otherwise I am thinking to change the Inetrnet service provider .

        I have been facing numerous issues with airtel broadband.

        My account number is [protected]_kk and I have placed 8 service requests to rectify a connectivity issue.

        You know what airtel DID ?

        they charged me 2000 every month and I paid it. And after my last request they went ahead and disconnected the line accepting that they have a pathetic network without having the ability to fix the problem.

        I want to take them to court now for lack of service.

        This was my final email to them on dec 6th.

        I have so far raised about 8 service complaints regarding my broadband connection not working.

        so far whenever I place a complaint the airtel tech does something at the junction box located in the next building and the problem gets rectified and then after a days time the same problem is back again.

        I have spoken with numerous customer services reps and even one of your managers named mudassir who promised me that airtel had a big network backbone and will also fix the issue and not let customers face any kind of issues. I now understand that your service is nothing but .

        I have been paying around rs 2000/- Every month for not having a broadband connection from airtel which is a joke.

        I want you to immediately disconnect my connections and stop billing as you guys are in capable of fixing issues related to your own network and I have been repeatdly telling you guys that if the problem is not fixed then I will disconnect as the internet connection is of no use to me.

        I also do not understand how the service requests keep getting automatically turned as resolved even without bothering to check with the customer if he is still facing any issue or not.

        I am still not able to understand what kind of people you have working in airtel who do not seem to even understand that the customer has been complaining about the same issue over and over again so there must be some problem and someone needs to work on it and instead of sending me nonsense emails.

        I still wonder how the concern was resolved without actually fixing any problems. Do you have magicians working at airtel ????

        so as you are incapable and handicap organization which can only bill customers and collect rs 2000 but not provide any internet connection kindly disconnect my internet.

        ha ha ha instead of even bothered to try to fix the problem they just went ahead and disconnected and claim now that they will send me a final bill and I must clear my dues immediately .

        Is this airtel goondagiri now ?

        I really hope other service providers learn from airtel behavior and works on saving all the existing customers from this kinda rude torturous service.

        They did not even have the courtesy to try to resolve the issue even after 8 requests which spanned over 2 weeks. They took my money and left me high and dry !

          My son's prepaid located at Chennai was recharged by me at Devlali(Maharashtra) due to certain emergencies through easy recharge for Rs 333/-, but the talk time given was Rs 171.37 vide transaction ID No[protected] dated 14.12.08 at 5.55 PM. Tele No is [protected]. This is high time the cellular operator should put his house in order and give full talk time immediately.This may invite legal action if necessary.

          Hi,

          Iam a prepaid card holder of airtel bearing mobile number [protected], Iam using airtel from 3 years. I didnt have any problem since 3 years.

          But recently from 3 months, iam getting a messages from number 57272, whenver i recieve the message from 57272 My account balance is getting reduced by 1rupee.I have not opted for this service.

          But this Airtel is reducing my prepaid balance with 1 rupee whenever i recieve the message from this 57272. I have contacted the Airtel customer care several times and got fed up calling the customer care repeatedly and explaining the situation to each and every customer executive about my problem.But None of the executives has resolved the problem.

          The Assistant managers, The Executives everyone were helpless.

          The executives suggested me to send 121 stop to Airtel, and an Asst manager told me to Send Unsubscribe 57272, Another Asst manager said me that it is a technical problem and "your problem is going to be resolved in 48 hours" But none of them were helpless.

          Everytime i am fedup with calling up the customer care and explaining the same situation to each and every customer care executive ..

          Please resolve my problem and do needful.

          Airtel is not at all prompt in giving the talk time they promise in their sms
          Actuality this is not company problem. It's depend on offer, that was running that time. some offer are state wise and some national wise if 333 offer are applicable in Maharashtra so it's means not that work in Chennai .

          Airtel — Got less talktime

          Hi,

          My father made my recharge from rajasthan of Rs.333.00

          For Rs.333.00 & 444.00, i get full talktime.

          But this time i got only Rs.301.90

          Rest Rs.31.10, i did not get.

            Hi

            I've complained to Airtel on 121 for registering a complaint that i'm getting the anonymous sales promotion SMS.

            I got a response that it will be blocked as "Dont Disturb" service after 45 days.

            I can understand this lead time for blocking for non-airtel messages. I dont understand on why Airtel cannot itself block their own sales promotion messages.

            I'm getting at least 25 SMS per day on internet connectivity or something else even after this complaint 3 times.

            Sir, I have complained about the messages of demand for payment of bills for the service I am not utilizing. The complaint numbers are as follows:

            The customer care executive directed me to contact[protected]. There, I was redirected to contact customer care at 121. I am pained to state that I have beeen receiving demand SMS messages for fixed line which I am not using . I would be obliged if you verify the number and services before sending such messages of demands.

            I have Airtel Post paid connection, I have registered in DND. but I get Anonymous calls and SMS on ads and also few missed calls which is very annoying, when I complaint this to Airtel there is no proper response, and they say they cant do anything about it. Where can I really complaint about such service.

            Every Day, I receive marketing calls from AIRTEL with some promotional message with in a song format. It a disturbance to me while driving/ attending some important works.

              On my application and on submitting requisite papers, I was alloted mobile no. [protected] in Mumbai in Feb 09 or thereabout. The number is not activated veven now in spite of frequent request and the nokia dealer from whom the mobile was taken .Doubts, if any for genuine address or verification etc., can be baseless because I am working as an executive in one of the top nationalised bank of the country, I hold a passport and bank has also given papers re identity.But did not hear from Airtel ... To further create discomfort and agony, my daughter Gitanjali Khulbe's request has met the same fate. She is studing in a dental college in Sangamner, Distt Ahmednagar(Maharastra)and applied for a prepaid connection in Mar'09 and was allotted a no. [protected] after she gave an identifcation from the dental college. It was activated after no. of requests but was deactivared soon. The local dealer told that papers have been misplaced by your office . Nothing remains to be said on the level of the service(?) being provided by you. But can I hope to get a reply at least .

                        Respected sir,

                        I Myself Mr. Amol Dharma Kshirsagar, Airtel`s prepaid customer I have been availing Airtels valued service since Aug 2008 on mobile no +91-[protected] which comes under scheme named “Mobile compus pack”, I am from pune (Maharashtra)

                        Actually, I never wished to write a complaint letter to well reputed & established entity who really gives a wonderful service with great effort in every respect along with all possible facilities.

                        But, this is how may complaint incident started, from last few days I was suspicious about call charges so i thought to check out whether I have been charged correctly or not ? on12th Dec 2008 as per my mobile clock timing I called on an Airtel mobile no +91-[protected] at exact 3.54 pm means At beginning of 55th minutes and completed conversation at exact 3.57 pm means at starting of 58th minutes therefore sum comes like this (58-55=3) total three minutes were utilized by me but got charged by Rs 4/- for which i must have been charged only Rs 3/- in respect of scheme selected .it was really very embarrassing situation when someone make fool where you trust most for money and service.

                        Therefore, I immediately called Airtel customer care service no.121, where I spoke to a male CCE on my first call who treated me very rudely, arrogantly on the queries related charges, after deep explanation on issue I convinced him and then he replied that it usually happens by mistook and we would soon credit my Airtel account by Rs 1/- now you tell me, how it can be a satisfactory response, still he kept arguing on issue without being positive to fact & cut the line using vague language.

                        Afterwards I had to call again, to know real matter, this time a female CCE was on line, I gave her my mobile number and explained what happened, on reply she said that you called earlier and Rs 1/- had been refunded to your account and rest Rs 2.50/- would be credited soon for last extra cut charges and this is what update I could see in your Account on screen at the moment then I thanked her for action taken and heartily requested to convey this call charges query to senior authority so that they could take necessary steps and she agreed and we closed conversation by greeting each other, this time all went fine.

                        But nothing stopped at this point, again I started to receive SMS on my mobile on same day(12th Dec2008) around 6.08 pm to till 8.14 pm by Airtel, in that particular time altogether I received 5 (five) SMS which shows that I have activated following services


                        SMS 1(Airtel) –missed call alert plus is now active on your mobile received alerts when ur mobile is switched off, not reachable, to deactivate sms MCANO 501

                        SMS 2- ([protected])- congratulation on subscribing to the on demand service you have been charged Rs 30/- for 30mins of your favorite music for 30 days, to unsubscribe call 54321300

                        SMS[protected] –congratulation your MCA plus service has been successfully charged Rs 15/-on 12-12 Enjoy the Airtel service, to deactivate sms MCANO to 501.

                        SMS[protected]congratulation for starting Hello tunes (HT), subscription charges are Rs 30/- month stop HT by calling[protected], toll free,

                        SMS[protected]thank you for downloading “bhains ki pappi” as your hello tune, dail 543211 for the latest hello tunes (call charges Rs 3/-mins)

                        Now I don’t understand what kind of reply Airtel expect from me to say for service which I didn’t ask to active or asked any one to get activated and for which Airtel has already charged me Rs 47/- now there is negative balance Rs (-) 15.17 INR, I don’t want to be a victim for all charges .

                        I am terrifically suffering for all unwanted service provided by Airtel and charging me a lot, I request “Airtel Higher Authority” to look into matter and solve my extra calling charges, and balance related queries at earliest

                            I recently purchase an airtel prepaid number ([protected]). i request via message for activation of my airtel live. but i got some error conformation from airtel number(52700). i complaint about this to customer care. they ask me to resend that message again & again. i send that message 14 times & i charged 3 rup. for each meaage. But i got same error again & again. i complaint about that to customer care. they ask me to wait for 24 hours...48 hours...tomorrow..after 72 hours. but i dn't got my service activated. I lost my complete balance in this nonsense activation procedure. Ever time they put a new excuse. They ask me to wait. I m waiting from last 1.5 month & i am so disappointed from their service.

                            so i want to request vereybody to drop out of Airtel Mobile Service. This is a totally discusting company. those people are totalyy full-time excuser.

                            i am dropping my number due to their fake suggestion..

                              There are 3 problems I am facing.

                              1 Coverage issue While talking the phone gets disconnected. However I see full network. Many times call gets connected but reciever cannot hear the voice All thses calls are getting charged.

                              2 Hello Tunes : Many times the Hello tunes get changed randomly. When I have choosen a Hello tune and paid or the service how does it get changed randomly. Secondly When I am on a call and there is a second call coming, why does a Hello tune play. Waiting message should be played.

                              3. Mobile Office : I have suscribed to 399 / Month Internet usage on mobile. I cannot understand why only 100 MB is kept free. There are so many Airtel suscribers that I know are using this service for 199 / Month with unlimited download. Moreover how am I suppose to know how mucg have I downloaded. This is something that has to be addressed. If the usage at given point is not known how are suppose to limit the use

                              I hope all my queries will be addresed. I have been associated with Airtel right from its launch in Mumbai and hope for such small glitches I would not have to discontinue.
                              On 18Jul2008 Airtel mobile services are collapsed.I am not satisfied with Airtel at all .The customer service center did not give any satisfactory explanation.
                              I had raised a request no[protected] regardingnon credit of amount after recharge. They told me it will be done in 4 hrs but even in 4 days nothing has been done yet.

                                Dear All,
                                I have recently installed Airtel Broad band combo 499 plan which offers 2 mbps speed and 1 gb of data usage free per month.
                                Earlier I had prepaid connection of Hathway 512 kbps plan with 400 mb usage free per month. I am a minimal user of internet at home, and had never exhausted this 400 mb of limit.

                                Last month I got Airtel braod band installed. The speed is very good. But I am shocked as to how do they actually calculate the data usage. Last month I used internet only for 10 days just text chatting or email checking (I do not get heavy attachment files) and it showed a usage of 852 MB.
                                This month on 1st Dec on a single day it shows a usage of 165 MB plus. My usage pattern hasent changed, but my billing has changed. I had logged complaint regarding this and their engineer visited me and did not find any problem with my system or the modem. However I was surprised to hear from their tech person that even if the modem is kept switched on and the broad band cable is not connected to your computer or your computer is not on, still u will get billed. Fortunately that has never let the modem on when not in use. If Airtel is charging me for data transfer, then unless the broadband cable is connected to my computer how can datatransfer take place??? They refused to answer to this querry of mine. They told me that only their senior technical team can answer to me. I still await to hear from them.

                                I would also like to share with you people that I checked with two of my neighbours who have also taken smae airtel plan and connection. They have also experience the same - wrong/false billing by Airtel.

                                People please be aware of Airtel. They have false billing system. Please be aware before taking Airtel limited data transfer plans. They fool u.

                                Same here too but I can't understand when iam using for 1 hour they cut 300-400mb, but sometimes for 1 hour they cut 1gb wts the problem I dnt understand 2gb /day really sucks

                                  Kindly do the needful and remove me from this service and refund the amount charged to my account for the past few months

                                      can i trust this message and can i send SMS (if i want to go for Airtel-broadband) ?
                                      Please revert me back before i loose 3 ruppes for sending SMS to this number
