Hi This is pallav from bangalore i bought Samsung LCD from Vivak electronics bangalore with this i got ARitel Digital connection for 5 month free. from the very first day i m not getting any clerity or goood singles from the dish TV and Setup box. i have called morethan 20 times till now to the Customer care people but same response i am getting ... they say like our exective will come to your house by mentioned time but there exective didn't come to my house at the mentioned time..
Airtel servie for Digital Tv is very pathetic and clerity of picture is worst... customer care people are not supportive...

Pelase tell me wat to do. to whom i have to contact for this

Airtel — payment not adjusted

I A.Ramprasad holding AIRTEL post paid connection ([protected]). I have paid the bill amount of Rs.300/- for the month of August' 07 vide receipt no. 30039 on 17.09.2007. But unfortunately it was not credited to my account and the same amount is shown out standing in my Account. I am also being chrged for this 69602, , i dnt get it, why and wat for???? Rs 25.00 w/o any description...this is unfair.

I get the same charges on my airtel mobile bill every month .. I have to call 121 to get the charges credited on my next bill.. this is starting to become a big headache..!!!

This issue is with my Mobile.

My Mobile no is also charged for Rs.25/- ( SMS sent to 69602 ) for the last few month. When asked the Customer care of Airtel-Delhi, they say that the SMS has been sent.

Really a very bad from a Reputated Company like Airtel.

Yes On my mobile also I see the charge for Rs25/-.
No such SMS sent by me.

my number is also charged for Rs 25 (SMS sent to 69602) while this sms was not sent from my mobile.

Rs. 12/- (Rs 3/- four times on diffrent dates) charged against sms sent to 779 which was not sent from my mobile. These nos. not pertaining to me but charged by Airtel.

Rs 48(Rs 3 /- 15 times different dates) for sms to 779 which i never did.what should we do for this ?

I also was charged for the sms to 779.
On querying the Customer Care it comes out to be the Airtel Live! services.
When we browse and use the airtel live services it sends and recieves sms from ( 779 number ).
It is not some bug in the system. It is about payment for the Airtel Live! sim services.

Even i have also charged Rs.24 for 779.

Even I have been charged 779 to my mobile as well as my wife mobile. Looks like they are cheating us!

I was charged rs. 385 for sms send to 779 which actually was not send this company is cheating us

Airtel - Mobile — Threatening & Harassing Calls / Explicit Abuse of people

Hi,

My name is Neeraja & I had two numbers from Airtel[protected] &[protected]. From the month of October 2010, both my Husband & I, do not have jobs. Hence, were not able to make the bill payment in time. The same was explained to the executives who had called for the payment too.

However, off-late my relatives & friends have been receiving threatening & abusive calls from a person who claims to be from the legal department of Airtel. He has been using words like - [censored] & B****** (too dirty to be explicit) and more, on all people he is talking to irrespective of how they are related to me.

He had called me a prostitute to one of my relatives & told them too that he will come in person & slap them with his chappals since he has their address.

One of the last calls to one of my friends came from the number [protected] & the person claimed himself to be an advocate with Airtel & his name to be Ajay Kumar (hard to believe). The language he used was the same against my friend & when my friend had told him that he will file a case against Airtel for being explicitly abusive, his response to that was he doesn't care about any cases or complaints against him & that Airtel had authorized him to use such language to collect money.

Now this is how a customer, who had been loyal with Airtel for more than 6 long years (including mobile, broadband & DTH), gets treated in-spite of me informing them about my current situation.

Even if I had been a defaulter with out informing them, is this the language they use & is this how a customer & every one known to them gets treated ? Just because they have the list of calls made from those numbers.

Is there anyway that I can file a case against this abuse ?

Is any one from Airtel listening to this ?

I am scared to divulge any details as to where I am residing right now, since I do not know if any of these Goondas will really land up at my place & start beating up people !

my name is jagdeep singh .and i am using 3 connection of airtel ..first is [protected] which is on my name
and second is [protected] and third one is [protected] we are using but id is not my running on both lots in-case of lost or Sim fault i would going to suffer many time i inform to customer care no action taken finally they said me to go air tel office to submit ,and i did same i went there and submit my document with photo .
which is my voter id card ,after 15 days no resolution .even i asked can u give me receiving of document submit they said we don't provide and no need . after this not yet done anything .now day this is major problem with telecoms company they just want sell no customer support .even i talk with senior supervisor of air tel he shout on me .we cant help u .....and i asked give me any number or email id so i can inform there and get my resolution but nothing has given ..........i want stick action on that no verification has been also done no call nothing done bi airtel ....worst customer service for up west ...
such a rude customer-care and even senior .one client is taking responsibility but company don't want great !!!!!!!!!!!!! and even i want action on that retailer where i submit my document which is on main market on kashipur .i don't know may he will miss use my document

I have an Airtel post paid connection Mob. No. [protected].

I don’t remember if I have ever requested for starting WAP and Word service on my mobile. Quite likely I may have done so as a one-time request for something. But Airtel has constantly been charging Rs. 99 for WAP and Rs. 30 for Word service every now & than (I don’t remember how often and for how many days). Without downloading anything (picture, tone, etc.) I am frequently charged money. Yesterday, I opened a pending message in my service mail box. No sooner did I open it (had not read even one sentence) than I got an SMS that Rs. 99 are debited for downloading a tone. I don’t know if there was any tone in that message.

I have sent many messages to 121 to stop the services but every time I get a final message saying that my message is invalid. And so my fleecing continues.

I request you now to kindly stop all the services like WAP, Words or any other and also stop all promotional ads on my phone forthwith. And please stop your unreasonable charges also.

Please note that if I get a single such debit communication, I will take this matter to consumer council and to the MRTP. In fact, several hundred rupees which you have charged me for no reasons should be refunded to me if you feel what I have mentioned is correct.

I work in a company called Vodafone and do understand matters send through this media works really well and hence I am writing to you. Hope someone will read the mail and take some action.

I went to this Store in Patna (Aditya Vision) to buy a Airtel Digital TV on 24th October with my family on eve of Dhantaras. The Airtel representative explained me about the available subscription packages and I choosed one he explained to me Economy = Value + 35 channels. As per him the annual charge for the same subscription was Rs. 2000/- and I would have to pay for anything extra that I want. But little did I know I am committing a crime that I will have to pay my peace with. Thereafter started my wooes and ironies with Airtel.

I was asked to call a tollfree number to get the set installed. Same night I called up the tollfree number and they told me that they will send someone to install the set. Next day two persons from Airtel visited my home and installed the set. But due to some problem they couldn't install it properly and went back promising to visit next day again. Before leaving they gave me the shock of my life. They told me that the 2000/- that I have paid is only for the default 65 channels which didn't include my favorite channels Zee, Star Plus, Sahara One, Imagine, Aaj Tak, Zee News, O TV, ETV Oriya, Movie Channels & iNet. When I told them that I was told by the distributor that I will be getting these facilities, they told me that the same distributor has sold several sets promising false commitments to Customers. I got in touch with Airtel peoples and explained how I was cheated and requested them either to take back the handset or compensate me by giving the channels I was promised to. Local airtel officials promised me that they will look into the matter. Though more than 80 days has passed since then nothing has been done till now.

Infact, I am getting a no signal message which has been taken by deaf ears by local airtel peoples.

On 25th when the Airtel staffs left my home after installing my set, asked me to call tollfree number to recharge the voucher as the system was not working in my set top box. I called up Tollfree and recharged my account as per the instruction i received from them. But local Airtel people are saying that my account has not been recharged. Now I have simply a set top box which is simply consuming space in my home without serving any purpose thereof.

I had a lot of faith on Airtel Digital TV seeing all those ads and also after using the Airtel Connection I have been using from Airtel since last two years. Infact, even after starting of Vodafone Service in Bihar, I haven't disconnected the Corporate Connection of Airtel. Hope someone will read this mail and try atleast to resolve my wooes.

Also if someone is listening, would like to understand the escalation matrix for logging a call for any issues.

I bought the airtel digital TV on 14th Jan. Soon two persons from airtel visited my place and installed the DTH equipment and asked me to activate my account after 24 hrs. of installation. And i did the same on 15th Jan but the IVRS said the activation voucher i am using is invalid (i am 100% sure of entering correct PIN no.). So i raised a service request to the customer care service on that day itself. The customer care executive said that they'll look into the issue and resolve the issue as soon as possible and set 20th Jan as deadline to resolve the issue, he also promised that the services will not be blocked as the service request has been raised. He also took the Serial no. and PIN no. from me for reference. I believed the same and was in hope the services will not be affected. But on 18th Jan the services were blocked quoting negative balance. I tried calling customer care center many times but it returned no solution to the issue. Even now the service request is open and has not been solved. Clearly Airtel doesn't know the meaning of the word "deadline". From a customer point of view its is very simple, airtel company has received a sum of Rs 2500/- from my side and yet i am unable to get the services that i was promised. Airtel has failed completely to deliver what it had promised. Also they have no meaning for the word customer satisfaction, so i suggest my peers not to go for Airtel Digital TV as it gives u the "worst" services(worse than u can ever imagine). Tata Sky is the best in the market.

Was trying to communicate to the customer care that POGO does not have English feed but comes only in Hindi, The reply to me was it is not available in English and need to adjust with what was available, When told him to pass on a sugessition to their higher ups regarding this and also added that almost all other Service providers have got English feeds, the customer care agent did not care and did not want to take any feedbacks or sugessitions.
Hence mailed to airtel few weeks ago regarding this and they have not bothered to reply or acknowledge which is just a basic ethics which the customer support industry adhears.

I completely agree with Venkatesh above, we live in Chennai and we used to get English POGO till we bought Air tel Digital.Now my daughter complains that ll her fav cartoon programs are in HIndi, dubbed badly in adult unsuitable voices...I have complained and sent email like Venkatesh too...Too bad about this Hindi nonsense in English original programming channels

My address is J- 2/3, Telco colony near birsa nagar, .My ID No.- [protected]. before one month i m facing some problem, that one message is displaying on screen "inserted card is not an airtel view card or it may be inserted wrongly, please insert the valid view card properly again." BSNL & AIRTEL — do not issue recharge voucher

They issue SIM in our District Tirap, Arunachal Pradesh, INDIA but they donot issue sufficient Topup, Recharge & Lapu. Dealer & agents also sold recharge in black.
Public purchase recharge card to pay extra amount to recharge there mobile. I request please issued internet recharge system like dishTv & Tatasky. I also saw Internet mobile recharge system in other state like Assam also. Kindly issue these system as soon as possible in Arunachal Pradesh.

i was in roming when i lost my phone. i make an FIR in delhi where i lost it.I made a phone call to customer care in srinager about decactivating my service, which they didn't.
After 1 month i got the bill which was too much than expected. i refused to pay because i had not made these calls for which i had to pay. They deactivates my service due to non payment of bill.
i paid the bill and it was activated.
i went to delhi again in next month and they again deactivated my service due to non payment of bill.I have not received a single bill myself . sometimes i get the bill from nearby shopkeepers and sometimes i didn't. Remember it is an offical and personal document and i had never received it myself.
i refused to pay bill because i have not received the bill.

Firstly, how u deactivated my line without informing me.
secondly when i was in roming, why didn't you wait for some days.
thirdly why i m not receiving the bills.
As i m a lawer i will sue u for the above reasons.

Airtel Mobile Services — Received Monthly bill of Airtel Mobile services of unknown person

Re: Bill Number 64716218, dt. 21.7.2008 of Mr SEKHAR GSN forwarded to a wrong address.

The above said bill has to come to my residential address. The above said person is unknown to me.
The address given in the above mentioned bill is my residential address which is owned by me.
The person named Mr SEKHAR GSN is not known to me. I have been trying to contact the above
mentioned person but in vain.

I hereby declare that the above said person has never stayed in the above address and is not known to me in any respect. I request AIRTEL Authorities to take necessary action on the abvoe said person.
I request AIRTEL MOBILE SERVICES not to register my residential address to any person without
my consent and or knowledge.

I once again request AIRTEL MOBILE SERVICES to take necessary action and not to send any further bills to my residential address.

how to recharge the airtel mobile

why it takes such a long time to convert prepaid into postpaid when the company has assured that the same will be done within 72 hours. I have registered my sim for postpaid on 10th November, 2009.

I previously had a post paid connection having phone no [protected] which I later converted into a pre paid . Now to keep the mobile activated do I requre to complete all formalities as are required for pre paid connection or not.

I agree. I have made similar complain two months ago and got the same response. I am frustrated with it and closing the connection.
