The two post paid connections in my name --- for Account No.[protected]Mobile No. [protected]) and Account No.[protected]Mobile No. [protected]) had been requested for discontinuation by me through the Airtel Gallery at Vashi, Navi Mumbai on 29-11-08. The request Nos. for the said disconnection were 19528959 and 19529073 respectively. I had paid all the pending dues as on 29-11-08. I request you to confirm the disconnection of the above two post paid connections. Also, I have paid the full advance rent for the period 26-11-08 to 25-12-08 but the above connections have been requested for disconnection on 29-11-08, I request that the pro rata amount of rent for the period 30-11-08 to 25-12-08 may be refunded to me by cheque. I reiterate that I do not want to continue the above two post paid connections and I have not used the said post paid connections after 29-11-08.

    Your marketing salesman visited and sold the product.Had no technical knowledge, offered me wifi connection and a cheque for amount Rs.1500/- was given in the name of company.
    Regular connection was given. On assurance of your engineer that wifi will be install in a day or two. Waiting for a week, approached to your salesman, he enquired from the office that wifi will be install right now.Engineer came with the defective wifi and showed his inability that he cannot do much.Will come after two days.HE got wifi, installed and asked for a laptop.I don't have laptop and asked this wirefree facility will I get on my PC and telephone.He explained the system and the purpose of wifi, which is not in use for my requirement.I refused and he contacted to his seniors.Explained the amount will be adjusted in my current month bill.
    Received the bill.The amount paid for wifi is not adjusted in the bill.Kindly rectify the bill and send me correct bill.

    Airtel — payment not adjusted

    I A.Ramprasad holding AIRTEL post paid connection ([protected]). I have paid the bill amount of Rs.300/- for the month of August' 07 vide receipt no. 30039 on 17.09.2007. But unfortunately it was not credited to my account and the same amount is shown out standing in my Account. Hence I request the Airtel authorities to kindly look into the matter and adjust the above amount in my account and confirm the same at the earliest.

      This is quite disgusting that ever since i submitted the request( recieved at Wega Centre with all relevent documents, Pune on 6.8.08)for the transfer of 2 numbers belonging to earlier BM of my company to my name...i have been running pillar to post for a solution.

      Despite numerous visit and phone calls ...NO Solution has yet been given.

        Rs. 25/- charges against sms sent to 69602 which was not sent from my mobile. Another Rs.3 were charged agaist sms sent to 779. These nos. not pertaining to me but charged by Airtel.
        I am also being chrged for this 69602, , i dnt get it, why and wat for???? Rs 25.00 w/o any description...this is unfair.
        I get the same charges on my airtel mobile bill every month .. I have to call 121 to get the charges credited on my next bill.. this is starting to become a big headache..!!!
        This issue is with my Mobile.

        My Mobile no is also charged for Rs.25/- ( SMS sent to 69602 ) for the last few month. When asked the Customer care of Airtel-Delhi, they say that the SMS has been sent.

        Really a very bad from a Reputated Company like Airtel.
        Yes On my mobile also I see the charge for Rs25/-.
        No such SMS sent by me.
        my number is also charged for Rs 25 (SMS sent to 69602) while this sms was not sent from my mobile.
        Rs. 12/- (Rs 3/- four times on diffrent dates) charged against sms sent to 779 which was not sent from my mobile. These nos. not pertaining to me but charged by Airtel.
        Rs 48(Rs 3 /- 15 times different dates) for sms to 779 which i never did.what should we do for this ?
        I also was charged for the sms to 779.
        On querying the Customer Care it comes out to be the Airtel Live! services.
        When we browse and use the airtel live services it sends and recieves sms from ( 779 number ).
        It is not some bug in the system. It is about payment for the Airtel Live! sim services.
        Even i have also charged Rs.24 for 779.
        Even I have been charged 779 to my mobile as well as my wife mobile. Looks like they are cheating us!
        I was charged rs. 385 for sms send to 779 which actually was not send this company is cheating us

        Airtel - Mobile — Threatening & Harassing Calls / Explicit Abuse of people

        Hi,

        My name is Neeraja & I had two numbers from Airtel[protected] &[protected]. From the month of October 2010, both my Husband & I, do not have jobs. Hence, were not able to make the bill payment in time. The same was explained to the executives who had called for the payment too.

        However, off-late my relatives & friends have been receiving threatening & abusive calls from a person who claims to be from the legal department of Airtel. He has been using words like - [censored] & B****** (too dirty to be explicit) and more, on all people he is talking to irrespective of how they are related to me.

        He had called me a prostitute to one of my relatives & told them too that he will come in person & slap them with his chappals since he has their address.

        One of the last calls to one of my friends came from the number [protected] & the person claimed himself to be an advocate with Airtel & his name to be Ajay Kumar (hard to believe). The language he used was the same against my friend & when my friend had told him that he will file a case against Airtel for being explicitly abusive, his response to that was he doesn't care about any cases or complaints against him & that Airtel had authorized him to use such language to collect money.

        Now this is how a customer, who had been loyal with Airtel for more than 6 long years (including mobile, broadband & DTH), gets treated in-spite of me informing them about my current situation.

        Even if I had been a defaulter with out informing them, is this the language they use & is this how a customer & every one known to them gets treated ? Just because they have the list of calls made from those numbers.

        Is there anyway that I can file a case against this abuse ?

        Is any one from Airtel listening to this ?

        I am scared to divulge any details as to where I am residing right now, since I do not know if any of these Goondas will really land up at my place & start beating up people !

        I would never ever recommend Airtel to any one in my whole life any more.

                i have an internet connection of airtel plan 499 unlimited speed @ 64 kbps.which is sufficient for me .problem is that, for 50 mb file it is taking more than 6 hour downloading @3.24 kbps. i talked to service executive at no. 121. they told me that there is problem in under water line from U.K. & U.s.a, & every body is facing same problem, now i just want to know that is there any provision to get any reversal of funds from the service providers to all clients those who are availing services for this kind of poor services.Consumer is paying for services commited by service provider or for the problems.

                due to some reason i want to disable my internet connection and wanted to change my plan from combo(499/-) to 180/-. connection is establised at landline no.[protected] saryu prasad singh).
                it is requested that u take action on my request as soon as possible. otherwise i wont be able to pay for that connection because from tuesday(9 june 2009 ) onwards i wont be having my computer system at this connection.

                  I had bought Airtel Digital TV connection on 16th Dec 2008 paying Rs.3500. On 18th of Dec 2008 the Set top Box stopped working totally afetr one day of installation. Please help me get my money refunded from this company. The quality of their pictue is also of inferior quality as compared to tatasky. The customer care is pathetic. I had sent them a complaint mail and has still not got any reply after 48 hours . When I called them thay said that their turn around time is 7 days (too high) for technical support.

                  I work in a company called Vodafone and do understand matters send through this media works really well and hence I am writing to you. Hope someone will read the mail and take some action.

                  I went to this Store in Patna (Aditya Vision) to buy a Airtel Digital TV on 24th October with my family on eve of Dhantaras. The Airtel representative explained me about the available subscription packages and I choosed one he explained to me Economy = Value + 35 channels. As per him the annual charge for the same subscription was Rs. 2000/- and I would have to pay for anything extra that I want. But little did I know I am committing a crime that I will have to pay my peace with. Thereafter started my wooes and ironies with Airtel.

                  I was asked to call a tollfree number to get the set installed. Same night I called up the tollfree number and they told me that they will send someone to install the set. Next day two persons from Airtel visited my home and installed the set. But due to some problem they couldn't install it properly and went back promising to visit next day again. Before leaving they gave me the shock of my life. They told me that the 2000/- that I have paid is only for the default 65 channels which didn't include my favorite channels Zee, Star Plus, Sahara One, Imagine, Aaj Tak, Zee News, O TV, ETV Oriya, Movie Channels & iNet. When I told them that I was told by the distributor that I will be getting these facilities, they told me that the same distributor has sold several sets promising false commitments to Customers. I got in touch with Airtel peoples and explained how I was cheated and requested them either to take back the handset or compensate me by giving the channels I was promised to. Local airtel officials promised me that they will look into the matter. Though more than 80 days has passed since then nothing has been done till now.

                  Infact, I am getting a no signal message which has been taken by deaf ears by local airtel peoples.

                  On 25th when the Airtel staffs left my home after installing my set, asked me to call tollfree number to recharge the voucher as the system was not working in my set top box. I called up Tollfree and recharged my account as per the instruction i received from them. But local Airtel people are saying that my account has not been recharged. Now I have simply a set top box which is simply consuming space in my home without serving any purpose thereof.

                  I had a lot of faith on Airtel Digital TV seeing all those ads and also after using the Airtel Connection I have been using from Airtel since last two years. Infact, even after starting of Vodafone Service in Bihar, I haven't disconnected the Corporate Connection of Airtel. Hope someone will read this mail and try atleast to resolve my wooes.

                  Also if someone is listening, would like to understand the escalation matrix for logging a call for any issues.

                  I bought the airtel digital TV on 14th Jan. Soon two persons from airtel visited my place and installed the DTH equipment and asked me to activate my account after 24 hrs. of installation. And i did the same on 15th Jan but the IVRS said the activation voucher i am using is invalid (i am 100% sure of entering correct PIN no.). So i raised a service request to the customer care service on that day itself. The customer care executive said that they'll look into the issue and resolve the issue as soon as possible and set 20th Jan as deadline to resolve the issue, he also promised that the services will not be blocked as the service request has been raised. He also took the Serial no. and PIN no. from me for reference. I believed the same and was in hope the services will not be affected. But on 18th Jan the services were blocked quoting negative balance. I tried calling customer care center many times but it returned no solution to the issue. Even now the service request is open and has not been solved. Clearly Airtel doesn't know the meaning of the word "deadline". From a customer point of view its is very simple, airtel company has received a sum of Rs 2500/- from my side and yet i am unable to get the services that i was promised. Airtel has failed completely to deliver what it had promised. Also they have no meaning for the word customer satisfaction, so i suggest my peers not to go for Airtel Digital TV as it gives u the "worst" services(worse than u can ever imagine). Tata Sky is the best in the market.
                  Was trying to communicate to the customer care that POGO does not have English feed but comes only in Hindi, The reply to me was it is not available in English and need to adjust with what was available, When told him to pass on a sugessition to their higher ups regarding this and also added that almost all other Service providers have got English feeds, the customer care agent did not care and did not want to take any feedbacks or sugessitions.
                  Hence mailed to airtel few weeks ago regarding this and they have not bothered to reply or acknowledge which is just a basic ethics which the customer support industry adhears.
                  I completely agree with Venkatesh above, we live in Chennai and we used to get English POGO till we bought Air tel Digital.Now my daughter complains that ll her fav cartoon programs are in HIndi, dubbed badly in adult unsuitable voices...I have complained and sent email like Venkatesh too...Too bad about this Hindi nonsense in English original programming channels

                  I ashish kumar have brought an Airtel digital TV on[protected] with 1850/- pack. My address is J- 2/3, Telco colony near birsa nagar, .My ID No.- [protected]. before one month i m facing some problem, that one message is displaying on screen "inserted card is not an airtel view card or it may be inserted wrongly, please insert the valid view card properly again." I complain to costumer care, they told that u pull the card & then insert again, I repeat this 2 to 3 times but problem still now same.I call to costumer care again 10 to 12 times & they send service engineer & he said that u have to change the setup box but they do not taking any action about change the setup box. At last i m sending an mail to u, i[censored] don't change the setup box before[protected]due date of 3 month)or not take any action, I will go to consumer court.

                    On 13/12/08 received call from 0091 [protected] regarding my request for 2 additional SIM card activation at 5.55 pm ist.I regret to inform that the gentleman on this mobile phone was downright rude and misbehaved beyond limits .He could not care less for the organisation he serves. How a renowned company such as AIRTEL INDIA can keep him on their roles. On further requesting he REFUSED to disclose his name. I have now left my complaint with AIRTEL customer complain with CHARU AT 2.30PM ON 16/12/08 AND HOPE SOMEONE WILL REDRESS IT BEFORE THIS GENTLEMAN AGAIN MISBEHAVES

                        I am having this connection when I was based at Jammu & Kashmir state.

                        I have been transferred from Jammu to other location in the month of May 2008 and in the month of June 2008 I have asked Airtel Jammu circle to cancel my connection and settle the account thru mail.
                        I have been informed that for that my physical presence is require.
                        In the mean time I keep on paying your bills thru Mcheck facility
                        When I visited Airtel Customer Relationship Center at Bahuplaza at Jammu I have been suggested that since billing cycle is not completed, so they are not able to give befit of 599 plan, So it will be better if I will surrender this immediately after completion of billing cycle.
                        The executive present there assured me that connection can be surrender any where in India, and in case of any problem I can contact her.
                        When I have contacted Gujrat Airtel helpline the executive there outright denied that this type of faculty is available any suggest to contact Airtel Relationship center.
                        When I have visited Airtel Relationship Center at Silvasa Road; Vapi at on 22 Nov 2008, the staff present there said they are junior staff and they don't have any information regarding this facility and he will confirm this from incharge of center who was not present at center though she was suppose to be.
                        When your staff contacted her on her mobile she refused to provide any help.
                        When I asked that boy to let me talk to her she even refused to talk to me, I have not been given her connect no and her name even and when I left my visiting card as suggested by staff present there so any responsible person can contact me till now no one has contacted me.
                        I have made compalin of this to [protected]@ airtel.com thru mail and I got aknoladgment that they will take care ans some represantative will call us soon after 10 day I have again made complain as my connaction was not withdrown and I have started getting SMS for bill payment.
                        Now not only SMS but I have started getting call from there collection center for bill payment .
                        When we asked for connaction withdrown they said I have to make full bill payment till date which keep on increasing for two months without any fault of mine.
                        Now I am getting threatning calls from Airtel collection center at Gurgaon and they want me to pay full amount till date while I want to pay the amount upto the date on which I make request for connaction withdrow

                        BSNL & AIRTEL — do not issue recharge voucher

                        They issue SIM in our District Tirap, Arunachal Pradesh, INDIA but they donot issue sufficient Topup, Recharge & Lapu. Dealer & agents also sold recharge in black.
                        Public purchase recharge card to pay extra amount to recharge there mobile. I request please issued internet recharge system like dishTv & Tatasky. I also saw Internet mobile recharge system in other state like Assam also. Kindly issue these system as soon as possible in Arunachal Pradesh.

                        i was in roming when i lost my phone. i make an FIR in delhi where i lost it.I made a phone call to customer care in srinager about decactivating my service, which they didn't.
                        After 1 month i got the bill which was too much than expected. i refused to pay because i had not made these calls for which i had to pay. They deactivates my service due to non payment of bill.
                        i paid the bill and it was activated.
                        i went to delhi again in next month and they again deactivated my service due to non payment of bill.I have not received a single bill myself . sometimes i get the bill from nearby shopkeepers and sometimes i didn't. Remember it is an offical and personal document and i had never received it myself.
                        i refused to pay bill because i have not received the bill.

                        Firstly, how u deactivated my line without informing me.
                        secondly when i was in roming, why didn't you wait for some days.
                        thirdly why i m not receiving the bills.
                        As i m a lawer i will sue u for the above reasons.

                        The above said bill has to come to my residential address. The above said person is unknown to me.
                        The address given in the above mentioned bill is my residential address which is owned by me.
                        The person named Mr SEKHAR GSN is not known to me. I have been trying to contact the above
                        mentioned person but in vain.

                        I hereby declare that the above said person has never stayed in the above address and is not known to me in any respect. I request AIRTEL Authorities to take necessary action on the abvoe said person.

                              Airtel Postpaid Connection — Extra Charges

                              On 2/7/09 i got so many sms of downloading games from some site... i call to customer care.. a girl replied me " sir ! it may be some system error, u will be not charge for it..." .Now i got bill of last month and i get charged Rs. 1627 for downloading games... i again call to customer care...now they are saying "these charges are ok, there was no system problem, u have downloaded the games and you have to pay this amount of Rs.1627 along the other charges of the month."
                              Now at this stage i feel cheated .. i have no clue what to do... my one friend suggested to log complain in consumer forum... so i did... Plz help me...

                              Airtel Postpaid — Charging me of downloading Games

                              On 30th dec 2009 I got a message from Airtel that you have been charged Rs.99 for downloading game,whereas i haven't downloaded any game. I called the customer care frequently about that ,but they are telling me that we can't do anything and telling me that you have clicked anywhere and the game has downloaded. I am telling them that i haven't clicked any of the thing and I don't have a need of game then why should i download the game.
                              Plz. Check for this as early as possible.

                                Please deactive cricket pack of my Mobile No.[protected], We have not requested for any cricket pack. Please deactivate cricket. A message was conveyed on 10.12.2008 to deactive the cricket pack at 2.53 p.m. The reply was that necessary action will take place within next 24 hours. After 24 hours it is still activated. On 12.12.2008, I again talked to airtel customer care at 2.31 p.m. and I requested for deactivation on[protected], and a message for deactivation was conveyed on 121 and wrote D Cricket. and it was delivered at 2.56 p.m. on the same day. Thereafter, the cricket pack remain activated. I again complained on 13.12.2008 to customer care and they assured to forward my request to the concerned office and the scheme will be deactivated. I am still receiving cricket pack message. I am heavily charged for this i.e. Rs.5/- per day, while I requested for deactivation of cricket pack on 10.12.2008 and the money be refuneded to my account from 11.12.2008 till the deactivation of cricket pack, otherwise I am constrained to knock the door of consumer court.

                                Hi i m rajeev from deoghar jharkhand i have airtel sim and my internet is activate but this is very costly to use 30paisa/50kb but there are lots of airtel custmer([protected]) which have activated internet but they are using free since 4 month so tell me its reson
                                It's the type of cheating the customer and making big profit, is invented by airtel regently...

                                Also regently, they announced another service in thier pre-paid scheme, that's "pay as use", is chargable of 30paisa/50kb.

                                      I placed a request around Dec to activate the 0 rental mobile office plan. They activated the wrong plan.
                                      On the 9th of December I called to have them change it to the 0 rental plan. They deactivated Mobile office and did not activate it again. Since then I call at least 3 times a day and they keep promising me they will get it activated. I am frustrated with their service.
