mobile connection not activated

I lost mobile handset on 15.08.2008 in the evening. 15th, 16th, 17th being holidays, I went their relation center at Lokhandwala, Mumbai on 18.08.2008 and asked for duplicate SIM card for which I had to visit again.I was informed number would be activated within 4 hours.However even after contacting their No.[protected] several times I am being told to visit their Relation center (at Lokhandawala) to get the number unblocked.I was even informed...

No proper process for disconnection of the sevice

Hi,

I am Indu, who is willing to process the proper channel of disconnection of the airtel services to avoid further generations o[censored]ndue bills, for the service which is already quited.i.e., incoming/outgoing service are already closed with effect from 9th August, 08, as per my earlier request. Airtel's policy of "Recharge Anywhere Anytime" Not Working

I've always topped up my prepaid phone with airtel via ICICI on the internet. FOr last few weeks, it's no longer available yet the AIRTEL website continues to promote this as an option. Since this past Saturday (4 days now), I've tried to top up at 5 different retail outlets in Varanasi. ALL of them have been unable to do it, stating that Airtel has not balanced their accounts and they are not able to recharge prepaid phones....

Extremely Poor network coverage in TataMotors Pune

I work in Tata Motors Pimpri Plant. This place is between Chinchwad and Bhosari.
I have Airtel connection and the network coverage is extremely bad.
All Airtel users in TataMotors face the same problem. We can hear the caller, but the caller cannot hear us.
Please install a new tower in the nearby location or increase the transmission power of the tower which serves this area.

low signals. can not communicate

I have purchased one new airtel mobile connection and have paid 1500 extra amount for selective number. But from the day one i am complaining of low signals at various locations. No proper response has been given to me even the persons who have sold me the connection are irresponsible. They have no proper reply. Now i wish to surrender this connection. Airtel is requested kindly to refund me my money and advance rental which I have paid....

Product Features changed without information

Hi,

I have been subscribing to the Airtel Online serivce @ Rs 99 pm for over 2 years now.

All these years i ve been able to access the net all sites Http & Https included. Suddenly my Gmail access stopped working on asking the customer care center they say that now the features of the servcie which I subscribed have changed and cannot access the https sites.

i surfed the airtel homepage and didnt click any chargeable link, even then i was charged the for downloading java games though m nokia 6030 doesnt even support such format.the call center employee told me that the rcord showed that transaction took place. how can it be??? i never clicked any paid link. this is broad daylight cheating. what can i do???...

Bill amount adjustment

As i am using services provided by Airtel. I opted the GRPS mobile office service of Airtel and it took a week to configure. After it was configured I found it very slow in speed and expensive. Mobile not activate , blank sim card

I took sim card from a local shop at Majiwada, Thane of Airtel on 11/08/08 havibg the mobile no [protected] but it was not activated till 15/08/08 . When I enquired from an Airtel shop, it was found to be a Blank number.
Then I took another sim card from the same shop having the number [protected] on 15/08/08 at morning hours, but till now ( 17/08/08 at 10 hours ) it is not activated.
The Airtel must explain for such harassment...

SMS from 64611001

SMSes from 64611001 assault me everyday, on a regular basis, each informing me that Re.1 has been deducted for "TextBasedServices subscription renewal on Airtel SMS".

I have not asked for any new services and I want thi to stop immediately. I've tried complaining on Airtel's customer care numbers at least fifty million times. Pre-paid doesn't have an option for complaints and post-paid only services...

DNS Poisoned - Possible Phishing or Internet Hacking Probability

To update you and to my surprise the DNS servers at Airtel are a Security Havoc for all o[censored]s, using them.They suffer with the 2008 DNS Bug of the Interent...The very basic flaw in the DNS servers that makes our Internet connection vulnerable.
