Customer relation manager,

First I had not at all requested to stop your connection as you have not given me any connection. What happened is that we have applied for your Broadband service on[protected] and we have given Rs 200 as connection fee(have the proof for the same) and your executive had told us that connection will be given within 3 day as our inaguration is planed on 5 mar 08 .But the connection was not given to us when we called the executive he told us that there is no bharti line here so bharti cannot give connection here when we enquired about the money he told us it will be dispatched from head office.

On 10-5-08 we had received a letter from you with a demand draft 020110 dated 13 mar 2008 for Rs 49 You have not provided me any connection and have taken Rs 151 from me What is this? i had suffered huge loss for posponed my office inaguration due to bharati airtel, wht bharati people thinking about customers, its really cheating, they should answer for this matter, iam ready to resend them 49/- rs for developing bharati company.
NB: now iam getting internet through TATA INDICOM without any inereption.

bharati airtel broad band — JAGOO GRAHAK JAGOO

To start with there was a poster which say for broad band connection contact nagendra ([protected]) the scheme was very good pay two months advance rental 799+799 and no installation charge . 1000 extra for wi fi connection.. so far so good .. 1600 rs paid to nagendra no receipt received . 1000 rs cheque to prasanna on april 11 2009.

PROBLEM
1) JUNE RECEIVED A CALL FROM AIRTEL THAT OUTSTANDING AMOUNT IS 1300+
2) REASON CHEQUE BOUNCED SO I HAVE TO PAY THE OUTSTANDING I FAIL TO UNDERSTAND FOR SUCH A BIG COMPANY DOES THIS TAKE TWO MONTHS TO REALISE THAT CHEQUE IS BOUNCED ..
3) I ASKED FOR A DETAILS FOR THE CHEQUE BOUNCE NOBODY IS AWARE OF IT STARTING FROM THEIR EXECUTIVE TO THE MANAGERS.
4)TILL TODAY EVERY DAY THEY CALL UP AT ODD HOUR AND DISTURB TO PAY THE AMOUNT .. INSPITE OF TELLING COLLECT TEN MONTHS RENTAL IN ADVANCE BUT GIVE THE REASON FOR CHEQUE BOUNCE NOW THEY TELL THEY NEED ANOTHER FIVE DAYS TO GET THE DETAILS AND KEEP DISCONNECTING THE CONNECTION.
ITS NOT FRUITFULL TO TALK TO ANY OF THE EMPLOYEE BECAUSE I NEED TO TELL THE WHOLE STORY TO THEM AND TO THE MANAGER ALL THESE THING WHILE THEY PUT ME ON HOLD FOR LONG DURATION.AFTER LISTENING TO THE STORY.
THE BEST PART IS WHEN I CHECK WITH MY BANK THEY SAY THERES NO HISTORY OF CHEQUE BOUNCE IN YOUR ACCOUNT. IT MEANS THEY HAVE NO REASON TO GIVE BECAUSE THE CHEQUE IS NOT SUBMITTED AT ALL IF THATS THE CASE LET THEM GIVE THE CHEQUE AND TAKE THE CASH OR GIVE ME THE RESON OF CHEQUE BOUNCE.. WHICH THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO THEY KNOW ONLY TO TROUBLE THE CUSTOMER AND TAKE THE MONEY WITH OUT GIVING SERVICE.
THE WOUNDERFULL RESPONSE WHICH I GET FROM THEM

MY MANAGER IS BUSY .. ITS NOT REFLECTING ON THE SYSTEM. I[censored] WONT TELL ME THE STORY IN BRIEF I CANT CONNECT U TO MANAGER..

THEN THE MANAGER COMES AFTER SOME TIME AND SAYS I HAVE TO ATTEND 40 TO 50 CALLS U TELL ME WHAT U WANT ME TO DO.TILL NOW I HAVE SPOKEN TO ATLEAST 15 PEOPLE REGARDING THESE ISSUE THE COMPLAINT IS STILL IN THE air AND THEY tell WE NEED SOME MORE TIME..

NEED A STRONG SUGGESTION FOR THIS WOULD APPRECIATE IF ANY THING CAN BE DONE ABOUT THE SAME.

      I bought 2 calling card from Airtel vendor at the International airport in Mumbai in Sept 07. The card had a issue date of[protected]. Backside of the card was covered in Hindi instruction and we could not read any other details of the cards. when we reached our home out of India and opened the cards, we found out that the cards are valid for 6 months from date of issue. that is, when the cards were sold to us they expired alrteady!! HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN AT INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT OF MUMBAI...inside the departure area!! where not even relatives of travelers are allowed!!

      Airtel Calling Card — card is invalid

      invalid card error:
      I bought 2 World Calling Card of Airtel of Rs. 500/- each on 5th Nov. 2011, from airtel kiosk at New Delhi International Airport, while coming to US.
      I was told that i could make calls to India with this card after dialing the access number and the card code.
      However, after dialing in, i get a message that the card is invalid.

      Date of Package-10 Jan 2011
      Batch No/Tracking No- [protected] 8672 0004 and [protected] 8672 0005

      I now realized that expired card was sold to me as in side it's written first use within 9months of date of package.

      Airtel is cheating customers.

        I am a airtel postpaid customer from 27.03.2008 against plan for railway employees.according to the airtel sales executive(sanjay) told that no bill would be paid upto 2 months.but, from the first month o[censored]ses itself, I have been recieving many messages and calls for paying bill, and also i have not recieved any bill statement.as per message bill for first month was RS.191 and on date 12.05.08 bill is RS.648.
        The bill is more than the charges o[censored]ses, please send the bill statement, and deactivate my connection.
        correct the bill amount otherwise i will go to consumer forum.

        Hi, i'm a postpaid user possesing # [protected] (WNS Employeee, Panchashil, Pune). I just started using this card only 15 or more days back and the unpaid bill came above Rs.1000. How is that so? I didn't get any of the offers. I would like to see the bill satement. I haven't got it yet to the address i gave for mailing.

        I`ve lost my sim ([protected]) on 30-10-08 with handset Nokia 2600c &someone is using so i want my billing information.

        Airtel / Postpaid Connection — Disconnection. Due to wrong invoicing

        The problem I faced with my Airtel Connection([protected]) has increased to an extent that now it is unbearable.

        Their invoices are not accurate!! highly Overcharged. Eversince I hv started checking my invoices i am shocked to see the mistakes.

        *ISD rates charged on Local SMS; customer care waive off on request: authenticity on such invoice?????
        * 10 calls from differents customer care exec. for same follow up ( everytime you need to explain the story from beginning and you need to waste 1/2 an hr. everytime?? No records/updation on their system.
        * Credit limit is INR2100 and my invoice has raised to INR7000????????
        * Invoices are not delivered timely
        * HIDDEN CHARGES
        * Despite no. of complaints(one reference no.[protected], Noone reverts back. Moreover the number gets disconnected even if you hv requested for some details against your invoices???

        Looking forward for a response...
        We have one Post paid connetion No. [protected] ( passward is 1234) and we want to disconnect this number.
        Please tell us what is the procedure?

        Airtel / Postpaid Connection — Inconvinience and Severe trauma to the Customers

        Sir,
        This is a serious complaint regarding the problems Airtel customers are facing. The complaint is regarding both service and customer care.
        I will give you a little history of the issue. My mobile no. is [protected]. The due date for the payment of the bill is 30th of every month. Every month, I make the payment after I have received and checked the bill wthought any delay. The bill for the month of May was generated and a message for the same was send by Airtel. Not receiving the bill, I made a call to Airtel customer care, before the due date, to remind them that they need to send the bill, withought which I would not be able to make the payment. The customer care executive informed me that the bill will be delivered within 48 Hrs. I was also informed that the matter has been escalated to concerned authorities. I waited for the bill but didn’t receive it. Again I made a call to customer care on June 5, 2009 to enquire about the bill and what action has been taken on the same. The customer care executive replied that the bill will be send to me very shortly. I informed the customer care executive that the same problem has happened before and also requested to see that the outgoing and incoming doesn’t get barred. The customer care executive gave a commitment that the bill be dispatched soon and that the outgoing and incoming will not be barred because of non payment for the whole month. I informed the customer care executive that I will take 1 week time from the date I receive the bill. I got a message from customer care informing me the complaint no. and also that customer care will contact me on June 16, 2009 regarding the same issue.
        I received the bill only on June 15, 2009. Withought sending any message or any information, the outgoing and the incoming was barred on my number from June 18, 2009. Not only that, but I was not able to make calls to customer care.
        On contacting customer care, from other number, I was informed that until and unless I clear the payments, Airtel will not release outgoing and incoming. When I tried to contact any senior executive, Mr. Gopinath also told me the same and informed that he can’t help me in this regard. Rather, he informed me that even he has escalated the matter to concerned authorities withought giving me any information about the earlier escalation. And when I ask to atleast release the incoming so that I can atleast attend some important calls, he was unwilling to do that, citing software reasons.
        So, because of the failure of customer care to dispatch the bill on time, I need to suffer and hence pay. And this is not the first time that it is happening. The whole process from Airtel not dispatching the bill till barring outgoing and incoming on my number has happened more than twice and the same has been informed to the Airtel, but still they have not shown any interest whatsoever to solve the issue.
        Finally, I made it clear that I will make a complaint in Consumer Forum and then I will do as per what Cosumer Forum will instruct me to do. Then Airtel manager, (on June 22, 2009) started threatening me and asked me whether I am having sufficient money to afford consumer forum. He also talked very rudely and even after me telling him that once you resolve the matter, I will release the payment, he kept on pressurizing me to make the payment the very next day before 11:00 in the morning. And he also threatened and told me that if he doesn’t receive the payment, he will disconnect all the numbers held by the same name. But there is no issue with other 2 numbers. All the conversation has been recorded by Airtel for the call Airtel made to [protected] on June 22, 2009 at 19:44. He even came to my home twice and shouted and asked for the payment.

        Under immense pressure from Airtel, I have released a payment for the month of May on June 23, 2009.

        I would like you to take action as stern as possible. I want Airtel to understand what mental trauma customers are going through. And how dare Airtel can threaten and bully customers for no fault of the customers.

        dear sir,
        i am binod kumar rajak and my mobile number was [protected].I would like to put inform you that last year in 2008 i wanted a data card from airtel but your executive handed over a post paid sim card to me and told to use mobile office in that,i said that time you are coming from ageancy or direct airtel. Beacause i had talk with customer care and registered i needed data card but he said that i am coming from ageancy from maniktala branch.I agreed to it and started using the post paid but after few months my bills were quite high even that time i was not in kolkata i had went to jammu for 20days still bills were quite high again i visited relationship center at park street and i had talk with your teachnical executive regarded on these matter but i haven't got any solution.So i decided to make to settlment and discontinue the services,after the completing the formalities with your executive i stopprd using the sim.I got the settlement letter also with me and along with his visting card.and i am sending photo with this mail.But now since few months i have been geetings calls from your department abusing me and telling to pay the dues!but why shall i pay anything when i have cleared everythng?and again i have just received a leter as date on[protected] stating tht i am a disputed customer for not paying airtel bill .Where as i had already settele all my dues and i have a written proof for tht which is given to me by one of airtel executives .This is not to way to harass someone by sending a letter ,making phone etc.it would be very kind of you to look into this matter and plz sought the problem out.

        Airtel / Postpaid Connection — mobile number not activated

        On 7th May, 2010 around 12:30 pm, I purchased mobile post paid connection from Airtel's Outlet, situated at Mehdipatnam, Hyderabad. They took Rs. 500 as deposits and gave me sim card bearing No.[protected]. I have submitted all the documents required for post paid connection, they have allotted the number [protected] and guaranteed that it will activate within 24 hours. But when it is not activated after 24 hours, I called the Airtel's Office and they told that there is some error in the sim card and you will not get a new sim card until monday. I called constumer care center and lodged a complaint, the complaint number is[protected]. As they have guaranteed the activation within 24 hours, I have given my mobile number to many of my business contacts. I am going to suffer a lot as these 2 days my business contacts cannot call me.

I made a payment of Rs. 2600 by cash,Rec No. : 2418,& Dt :[protected] to an Airtel executive Vinod Naidu and got a call from Akshat Communication Jagdalpur where a representative confirmed that the payment of Rs.2600 by cash has been received.They are promise me that my number was maigrated in to prepaid with in 10-15 days ,but my number was still not maigrated in prepaid & payment was still not posted on

        I have submitted all the documents along with activation charges of Rs 300/-required for converting my CUG no [protected] to normal plan on 25/10/2010 at airtel shop on Rajkumar road Bangalore. Actual TAT as per Customer care executive is 48 hrs but even after 5 days my no is not yet activated. Pls help me

        I still dint received my mobile number yet. I think the company cheated on me. its 10 months crossed i have given complaint. Is airtel a big mobile giant, if that so then how does the team react against complaints. I think its shame on the part of customer care services, who relevantly din care at all to the customers. If this is the picture of so called "Telecomunication Giant", which din able to resolve a problem of a single customer in ten months then unfortunately i have to say that One or other day will come when slowly, when airtel's name will be rubbed off from telecommunication, as so much customer dissatisfation.
        if possible on your part take care of my number and migrate my number [protected] soon.. thank u so much...

          Dear Sir,

          I have purchased a mobile from Subhikha which is having free airtel connection along with it. This was on 11.05.2008. The mobile number given was [protected]. I was been told that within a day the connection will get activated.

          Now its almost 2 days still the connection is not been activated. Within these 2 days i have called many times to airtel customer care 121 and each time a get a different reply.

          One says that the documents are not submitted other says we are working on it and other says that there is a problem with airtel system

          hello i m Firoz Ahamad from Bihar. My mobile no is [protected] purchase in the name of Mr.Khurshid Anwar. i m using this number for last 1month . few days ago my service was interrupted by the telecom department of the airtel.i asked reason for the same and they told me that i have to submit my proof in the nearest airtel showroom....

          Airtel/SIM — dont activation sim

          Sir,
          During Feb., 2008 I have got a post-paid connection of Airtel from their Executive named Mr. Rampal in one year advance rental plan. for this I have given a cheque of Rs.699/- and the person has handed over me the sim with providing me the No. [protected]. that time i was kept this sim without using as that time i was without handset.

          on purchasing i have checked the sim and found it non-activated. I have contacted with the above-said person, he told me that due to pending of residence verification my activation was stopped.

          Now said verification has also been done on[protected], but no fruitful result has arrived so far. No concern of Airtel company is ready to hear my request as each and every concern person have never need to attend our grivence. they maximum disconnect the line or not attend the call.

          In this situation, Airtel has issued me the bill for an amount of Rs.86.40 vide my A/c No.102-[protected].

          In view of above, i am in depression and very upset that how I got refund my deposit amount or above-said connection at the earliest.

          You are, therefore, requested to consider my request and give me the justice by activitation of my sim or in case they are unable to do so, my deposit amount may be returned with interest without charging/deducting any amount for sim or other services.

          I had lost my mobile so i called airtel customer care and stopped my services. I have a corporate connection and my company pays for the bill, so i called my HR to get me a Duplicate Sim, They recieved the sim in about 1 hour and Since the it has not been activated. On repeated calls to the Customer Care they say "Sir it wil take another 2 Hours." it has been more than 20 hours since i have recieved my Sim Card and have applied for activation. I need a serious action to be taken against Airtel.

          dis is dwarak fro triplicane, chennai.i really don understand y airtel has such a bad service. . i was using an airtel connection for the past 4 yrs. and suddenly my sim wasn workin from day bfor yesterday.. i was asked to change the sim and so i did it the very same day by payin Rs.150/-... but i am yet to get it activated till now.. its been 2 days already . i dunno wat it is all bout..they 've made me walk to the nearest airtel customer care showroom (in hameeja complex)for umpteen times and whenever i go they say it will be activated within 2 hrs... the service is so poor and am missing so many important calls bcos of this..!!! mark my words.. if this kinda service is gonna continue airtel is gonna loose many costomers... this makes me to think of alternate options to switch to another service provider.
          i had migrated my pre-paid connection to post paid.. it got activated but it got deactivated.. the reason was that address verification was not done, but i already have a broadband connection and a postpaid connection in my name on the same address.. wat is the problem i dont understand when i am an existing customer... its been a week and a half and still no progress

          After taking connection the sim was rejected, only after one and a half months.Local office didn't give any reason and supplied new sim charging Rs. 170/=.Again the new sim was rejected after one month or so.On enquiry, no reson was spelt and again Rs. 170/= was demanded.

          Airtel Delhi — Partial deactivation of SIM

          I am an Airtel prepaid mobile custome for almost five years. Recently I received a message regarding address verification. I scheduled five appointments but nobody ever came to receive the documents. Each time, I would have to repeat my correct adress, and somebody would assure that it would be done within 24 hrs. Then, nobody would come and when I would call to schedule a verification, they would again have the wrong address. Now they have deactivated outgoing calls on my SIM. Airtel custome care asked me to submit a fresh SIM application at the local service centre and after doing all the paperwork, I was told by the nodal office that it was the wrong advice. I have asked the nodal office (Ms Neha Babbar) to correct the problem but again despite their reassurance, the SIXTH appointment has been missed by Airtel. This is a unfortunate example of how even the private players provide shoddy service because the consumers have no voice. a hefty fine should be imposed on Airtel for this and the relevant document collection person(s) at [protected] should be fired.

          Hi ,

          Airtel mobile services are using a very unethical marketing Approach for earnings.

          Few days back I purchased a SIM and after one week they disabled my SIM and asking me to buy a new one . I was surprised when I asked the reason, the customer care simply told that the SIM is recycled and can not be used. The only solution I got is "Buy a New SIM" ....

          This is really a pathetic and harassing situation from Mobile Providers .....

          He was totally in need for SIM as he had to attend various interviews and he could not get a single call for that weekend because Airtel had sraped off his SIM.

            (this was our complaint to Airtel company which hav already mailed but still no satisfactory action done on this complaint)

            Dear Sir,
            I would like to inform you that I have taken a new Airtel Connection (Rs. 699/- Advance Rental Corporate Plan (Postpaid), Airtel No. -[protected], SIM No[protected] on date 15/03/08, by your Airtel Executive Mr. Gagan (Channel partner code –CD038), and his R.M. is Mr. Amit Chhabra (RM Code – 883) at Delhi Region. Mr. Gagan committed to activate the GPRS plan in same connection on monthly rental of Rs. 99/- at the time of giving this connection, which is also mentioned in out Enrolment form no- 6831653.
            He has also said to me for activating of this GPRS plan within 7 days only, even after 15 days he was unable to activate this Plan, so again he committed to activate it in coming one week.
            In this way till date they have given me to many false commitments, as result till I am waiting for that, so here you are kindly inform to activate this GPRS connection within 48 hours. In case o[censored]nable to activate this GPRS plan You are kindly instructed to refund our advance rental of Amount 699/- with interest. In case of failure of this deed I’ll go to consumer forum.

            Dear Sir,

            I have been using Airtel Sim [protected] since the last 5 years and has several complaints lodged and my last complain 2 months back asking them to not allow any activation other then my incoming and outgoing inspite all complaints yester when I charged my mobile for Rs.50 by the end of the day the balance showed .49 (0) I had not made a single call.

            Sir regretably would like to inform you that your organization has also started using method like giving miss call and if we call back find we are loosing Rs 12 for each call.
            I would request you to get my balance of Rs 50 back in my account from the activated source or self.
            I would be forced to use the consumer court to deal with Airtel in the future.

            Thank you and hope that you will take appropriate action and see that this does not repeat.

              iam having airtel prepaid connection ( Mob. No. [protected]). Since, last month (April, 2008). I have, nt registered or opted messages from 58888 or from 'masti' but a' m continually receiving breaking news and contents from masti. On enquiring from customer care i discovered that the service has been activated since, 14th april, 2008 @ Rs. 01 per day. It is not known to me that how the service has been activated without my consent. I even sent SMS (HELP TOLL) to No. 58888 but in vain. On the evening of 12th May, 2008 I tried to talk to customer care executive named, Mr. Ashis but I've not been entertained. Its a great shock to me that the behaviour of the executive was so uncoperative and rude.

              i want to deactivate the service at the earliest.

              This has reference to the subject matter, I have registerd one complaint on 22 July 2009 regarding activation of new Friend & family pack (Special 5), , I made several call to your customer care & spoke to senior supervisors reagrding the said problem but every time they ensure me to solve my problem whitin 48 hours, , but till date no one had solved my problem, , now i'm dialling to customer care they every time hold my line & afterword disconnect my call.
              I m using airtel connection last three years and you can check my record also i never used another number other than Airtel, , But now airtel customer care executive treating me like that they don't want to me to use airtel number.
              I request you to please solve my problem (ref.no.[protected]) as soon as possible so that loose my trust on Airtel.

              I hav already lodged complaint regarding deductions from cell no [protected], My name is Prashant Limaye, from Aurangabad (MS), the deduction started from 12th Aug 09, at that time my balance was Rs 189.55, then after as per Airtel the message pak was activated, for your information I havnt subscribed for the same, on 15th Aug 09 after several calls there was a credit of Rs 15/- given, while I hav loosed more than that, on 13th & 14th Aug 09 calls it was confirmed that the service is being deactivated, but still after the same was not done, I again receive one message yesterday afternoon for Thought of the day, which deducted again my bal of rs 3/-, then I got a call from [protected] no, regarding clearance of the complaint stating on the message receiving for satisfaction I should give satisfied report, also it was confirmed that the balance will be returned & there will not be any harassments on the same, but till time there is no action taken will any-one take it seriously on this matter.

              I am sorry to say that I am waiting since May’2009 to get the refunds against the Security Money deposited by me for International Roaming during May’2009, with your company.

              Since 15th May’2009 number of time I have contacted to your executives over phone (No. 121), but every time everybody has promised me for an early refund of my security money, but till date I could not get the refund of Rs. 6000/- against security money deposited by me in your company.

              I will feel obliged if you could refund the above said money at your earliest, otherwise I will forced to go through the police in the court of Law.
              unnecessary cutting the money from the poor massages so please do the needful

              who attended my call. he cut the call without considering my complaint. Then i called again an agent named muthu attended my call and cut the call telling something ,,, This is not the first time ,, ni am calling airtel repeatedly for balance depletion for last four months but my complain on frequent balance depletion is not yet rectified ,, Sir Kindly help me to stop the balance depletion and take proper action against the irresponsible agents

              Airtel — not attending customers

              the aietel prepaid users are not attended by the customer care..despite trying for more than 2-3 hrs the call is not connected to the executives or even if its connected no bidy anwers...if we follow the option by dialing 121 they say we goot to sms nd for that charge..nd if dialing 121 is free why is that when there is no balance in the account the call is not connected but is disconnected saying that there is no balance in the account....i think airtel is much interested in promoting there offers than catering to the needs of the customers

              I am an existing customer of airtel broadband services,I had been happening frequently that I have been registering complaints against discontinue service of broadband.Inspite of several mails and phone calls customer care is giving excuse to send their representative and asking me to be at the residence.I had missed my office several times but no body had yet came to fix the problem.In about 30 days my net is available for 15 days.Even their manager had ensured me today to fix the problem but no one had came yet to fix it.Now from morning I had called the airtel several times but they are asking me to hold on to check the status and keeping the phone at hold and not reverting back.
              It had been very harrasing on part of airtel to treat customer.

              Complaint:-This mail is regarding customer care complaint.Sir I was having Airtel Friends 1 connection but now I am not getting services of Friends 1 connection.When i talked with airtel customer care they are not responding with me.They are telling me that will connect to there head for my problem but they cut my call all the time when i call them.i am really fedup with airtel customer care.Please take this complaint serious as I am sending the same mail to the consumer complaints also,and take the respective action as early as possible.I want my Airtel Friends 1 connection back as early as possible.

                  Air tel costumer care service is extremely bad and poor quality in Jamshedpur (Jharkhand), when I was asking about DIAL UP CONNECTION on my laptop ( for asses internet facility through Mobile office)there reply for that go and contact to your computer expert or any computer shop after that my no [protected] is blocked for costumer care center, i am not able to contact with any costumer care executive, no buddy no anything about plans, poor knowledge, poor communication skill, poor service everything is disappointing and disgusting.                   I have taken one Airtel Prepaid Number in the month of Jan 2010, but after 3 months (April) its got disconnected on (04th April 2010), I have taken this Prepaid Number after giving all necessary documents, but now company is saying that I have not submitted the Form. How is it possible, that without proper Form I was using Airtel Number for Three Months?. I was also a balance of Rs.450/- in this card but now the company is saying that I will not get this Balance and number is disconnected.

                  Again on 17th April 2010 I have resubmitted the documents as guided by the dealer, but nothing has happened yet.

                    I received a call from a person claimin hes from airtel and culd give me a post paid connection. i agree. there was someone @ my door step the next day to collect documents and the money. I paid in cash INR 1000. After 2 weeks of waiting i visited a relationship centre in Borivali spoke to the manager there by the name Prapti Bicha. she says it was a dealer and not airtel. i showed her the copy of Subscriber Enrolment form that was given to me. she claimed that with out delar information nothing can be done, its best to forget the INR 1000. She Also claims that this has happened to many people and Airtel cannot do much.

                      I purchased a sim having Airtel Friends plan, in Pune.
                      As there is an option of selection of minimum 3 numbers in same scheme to reduce internal call rates.
                      Custommer care of Airtel is saying i can avail this scheme even after i make a topup of 90 rs to reduce std rates.These two schemes have nothing to do with each other.
                      And after i say that still my group is not able to be created, then they say that may be due to that 90 rs topup.
                      I just want to say that this company is not providing me the right information through custommercare.
                      this is wrong from their side.everytime they just say anything. They dont have any sense of responsibility to solve the problems.

                        I have bought a new airtel postpaid connection in the month of April and on April 16th it got activated after verification. On May 5th without notice Airtel has disconnected the service. After continuous follow-ups it started on 9th May but again on 10th may it is disconnected. very strange!. Nobody can expect such service from Airtel.

                          I am Alex Tuscano from vasai, last month i had activate GPRS on my mobile number [protected], that time i was using Nokia mobile N70.now this mobile is damaged and i using Mobile Nokia 2600 i try to deactivate my GPRS from date of 01/05/2008 to today. every day i try to deactivate GPRS but GPRS could not deactivated and i am loosing 15th rupees every day.
                          Some time i activate and deactivate GPRS but first time i got this problem for deactivate GPRS.
                          Could you tell me how can possible to deactivate GPRS.other wise i loosing my money every day.

                            It is quite unprofessional as well as unacceptable that an organization as large as Airtel can find reasons such as IT support being on leave to keep customers waiting for urgent situations to be sorted. I hurt my arm and hand when my phone got snatched yesterday and have been chasing Airtel to unbar my number for the past 2 days. I live alone and do not have a landline so my parents can only reach me on the mobile phone. However, instead of going to the doctor or taking any rest at all, I have been sitting in the Airtel Relationship Center for hours since 10 yesterday morning till 8 in the night only so that my phone starts working.
                            Caused serious repercussions such as business calls to be cancelled.

                              Lines Busy...line busy

                              I am using airtel cellular phone service for last one year, but now a days especially in the morings when try to make a call I am hearing a sweet voice telling that " All the lines in this route are currently busy" more than three times. According to the TRAI regulation (If am wrong kindly correct me) I don't think it is acceptable and I am ending up in wasting just trying....

                              Missed Call Alert is not working for more than a Month. 5 times i have complained to Customer Care & received 3 reference numbers from 22nd April to 10th May. Each time while speaking with Customer Care officer, they commit that problem will be solved within next 24 hrs or their technical people will call me. So far, nothing happend and still i'm facing the same problem.

                              Plz explain me wats the use of complaint booking?? Will it get solved or not? Or, to whom should i contact?

                              You r lucky chap, that your missed call alert is not working with Airtel. In my case, I not even had it subscribed and they charged me for the service for almost 1 year and when i brought it to their notice they refunded back to me Rs 15.

                                I was going abroad in 2003 and wanted international roaming. Airtel told me to deposit Rs 10k and I got the service activated. Years passed...
                                Last year (2007) I came to know that Airtel had stopped charging deposit for international roaming since 2005 or something.
                                So I called Airtel and requested them to send me the money. They said it will take 45 days as per 'process' (When I wanted the connection urgently they did not accept cheque or DD, ONLY cash!).
                                I waited and waited and also forgot. After 3 months I remembered and called them again. So they said they had sent the cheque by courier and was not delivered since no one was home. (If we delay on a small bill, they hound us like anything, the question I asked them was - all they had to do was to call me and tell me that the courier cannot deliver! They have my number! They just wasted another month).
                                When I kept complaining I was told to go to their office, made to wait and then collect the cheque personally. The issue is now solved.
                                BUT there is a bigger issue here!
                                Since they had withdrawn the deposit charges since 2005, wasn't Airtel liable to tell customers and REFUND the money ON THEIR OWN, without waiting for customers to call. I wonder how many MILLIONS of customers have paid the deposit and the company is sitting on it and earning fat interest!
                                If you also have similar experiences or if you have paid a deposit and forgot, pls call them and ask for it.
                                I want to take them to court if there are more customers with the same complaint.

                                i have experienced the same thing.i have deposited 5000 rs.and on refund they have told it wwill take 45 days to refund.when they start sservice they take in cash and on refund in cheque?

                                    I am working in a MNC, pune. I took airtel corporate postpaid connection through airtel representative who used to come near to my office. At that time, he asked me only for 2 documents to open a connection and after one week my connection got barred because of incomplete documents. I again went to airtel office in pune and asked for the complete list of documents to be submitted. He asked me 2 more documents and also told me that the connction will start within 48 hours.. After 3 days I gave a call to 121 so called customer service, they said me to resubmit the complete documents.. I am really fedup with Airtel.. they don't even intimate me before disconnecting the connection.. Airtel really Sucks !!!1
