Its merely been over a month i ported my postpaid cell no. from Vodafone to Airtel, after facing a couple of network/data related issues with Voda & falling for best connectivity as well as unmatched customer experience claims made by Airtel. Since the thread under discussion is not network, so i’ll not pass on any verdict here, moreover, its just been a month i am on their n/w as of now. However, just after paying my first month bill without even having a glimpse at the itemised bill as usual, this morning i was surfing thru my mailbox & just like that i opened up the e-bill delivered to me by Airtel and i was shocked to see that they have charged me around 175 bucks for sending out some intl. sms’s to a UK based phone number[protected]. Just out of curiosity, i googled for that particular UK no. & know what, i landed here. Unfortunately, above instance certainly affirms to the fact that Airtel has been taking its customers on for a ride. Customers like me & i am sure there are thousands out there, won’t even bother looking at the monthly itemized bills, just pay whatever the amount is, are being cheated in masses by an oldest & numerouno Cellular services provider in the country which ranks no.2 in mobile phone subscriber base. Well, to my surprise it was my first bill cycle, i wish they could have been little more patient & played such gimmicks of swelling their share values by silently drilling a hole in the pocket of its valuable customers. Period. Thanks but no thanks Airtel,
Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
Quality of the service is not at all good.
It would be good if you solve it asap.
