From past 2 months the internet connectivity frequently troubles. After I start the device it connects and works for a few minutes and then ceases to provide internet connectivity. In the app it shows network and connecivty both as good. I have to restart the device everytime. and from past one week it is happening in every ten minutes. there was no issue earlier.

    prepaid sim is not working in usa

    Hi Airtel Team,

    I'm using airtel prepaid SIM since 2008 in India
    Two weeks back, I came to the USA (Seattle). After I reached here, I'm not able to get the signal. Geeting "MM Phone Signal" error message and "SIM not allowed" message.
    The number is +91 [protected]

    I'm using Samsung S9+ dual SIM. I'm using At&T SIM in the second slot which is working.

    I ported my number from Vodafone to Airtel, last night Vodafone got deactivated so i inserted new Airtel sim but it's not being read by the phone so I'm not able to activate it by calling on the given activation number.
    Please help.
    I called the Airtel helpline and they told me I will be getting another message telling me that now the sim is activated. I believe this is wrong, since my old sim is now deactivated, my new sim should get activated almost immediately and not take another 3 days time.
    Has anyone else faced the same problem? Whats the resolution to this?

    Attached is the communication from Airtel asking me to insert sim and activate. Got this yesterday (19th June) and Today (20th June, 2019).

      I have two Airtel TV Digital TV Connection from last 6 years, Customer ID : [protected], My package was Rs.530/- p.m. for the both the connections.
      On last 30.05.19 i have recharged Rs.600/- for the entire month that means i have paid Rs.70/- extra.Now all of a sudden today at 19.06.19 they have all of sudden stopped my connection and then i have called to their customer care, they have told that now my package is running of Rs.880/- p.m., that is real shock for me because its the first time i have listen this, then i requested the cutomercare executive for the authentication details from my side which has gave to them through mail or via phone, but they are unable to provide anything.
      Now this is my heartiest request to take proper action against them.

        Am having atwo connections of Airtel dth connection which is 10 yrs old approx every year I do a recharge of 3k but after trai regulation I am calling Airtel dth customer care to split my both ids so that I can make my own plan do recharge according for the same I have called customer care so many times but till date the issue nt resolved every time they say that senior is nt available and we will arrange call back bt nothning happened when there seniors available they told we have put mail for same it will be done continuously from last 20 days I m calling them up to see the World Cup matches for splitting and generating of ids but they all are misbehaving and simply disconnect the phone. It’s really a pathetic service when I told him that I will put a complaint in consumer court they simply said do whatever u want to do really nt understand what to do with that connection

          Hello.,
          This is jayanth sharma. I have an airtel number [protected] which was ported to vodafone last year. And i didnt get the recharge so it was deactivated. But i want that number back where as vodafone service said me that after 3 months you will get that number back in mother network. So i am trying for the number in airtel office near my location. There is no response at all from the office guys. Please do need full.

            I've ported my no.[protected] from bsnl to Airtel and I've also inserted new sim but verification call to 59059 is not connecting. every time I try to call at 59059 it automatically disconnects and also I'm unable to receive incoming calls to my number, along with this there's poor network signals in our locality. I couldn't believe how Airtel is so weak in customer service.

              postpaid connection plan changed without my consent

              I had opted for Airtel postpaid plan of Rs 199. This was changed to 399 without informing me or without my consent. I never asked for this change. I just realized that I have been paying this extra unnecessary money for the last 8 months or so. I want a complete refund of this extra amount along with a letter of explanation and apology. This isn't the first time this has happened with Airtel....

              Hi, From past one week my sim card is showing no service as i am in USA ( New jersey) when i called to customer care they told that your sim and the number is active only but still i am not able to see the service? I have checked in another mobile also still the same issue.

              Can some one please help me here as it has been linked to all my bank accounts and another personal purpose ..

                I have credited for unlimited pack through online airtel recharge my amount have been taken from bank and I have got confirmation message about your number have been credited with rupees 448 but when I tried to make calls or send messages I received a message that my balance is 0 you are unable to that I have complained to customer care they told that they will resolve but nothing changed what kind of new scam is airtel trying to do I thought this is the best network but I think now this is a just number one scam network

                    My Number [protected], from last 2 months I am frequently getting problems of incoming calls and mostly not receiving any incoming calls from last few months and sometimes it suddenly starts working.

                    But from the last 3 weeks, all the incoming calls are stopped and have not received any call on my airtel number.

                    I have submitted complaint to Airtel Customer care, frequent response received from Airtel is, it will resolved within 48hrs and same is not yet resolved. No action has initialized

                    Please resolve this issue ASAP.

                      To Concern Department,
                      I have service request #[protected], complaint placed on 13 June with Airtel Broadband Customer care.
                      Though initially a Technition came and checked he said as its a Bend wire problem another Tech would come who came and informed that they need to consult thier officer to remove the wire and get new wire installed.
                      Its been a week and I am calling customer care and Technician guy with no ONE RESPONDING.
                      I have made 6 months advance payment on my plan .
                      Please help me out to reslove this issue as soon as possible.

                        I stay in DLF Capital Greens, Shivaji Marg, Delhi-110015. Its a multi Story apartments and I reside in 30th floor. The Airtel phone network here is almost nil and it becomes difficult to communicate. There has been no improvement since last one year. Please look into this matter. We have to rely on Internet calls to communicate with others as it becomes difficult when there is Internet issues. I got to know that towers will be installed and then the issues will be rectified soon, however as I have mentioned that it has been more than one year and I have not seen any improvements, i really seek your help in getting this resolved as soon as possible.

                          I would like to bring to your notice that, i have raised a request on 16th June, Sunday to re locate (installation) my airtel digital tv to another house in the same area, they said that the installation will be complete with in 24 hours, but still it is pending. They had provided a reference no 90445981, from sunday to today i.e Wednesday i have called to customer care 5 times, they had provided executive's mobile number, i had called him so many times but he was not responding.

                          I am asking that daily my burning amount is approximately Rs.12.00, still they did not resolve the issue, so please refund my burning amount until the installation completed.

                          Airtel digital tv service is very worst in Hyderabad

                          i have called to customer care no 040-44448080, they had provided their engineers for shifting, on 16th June they sent a sms with reference no 90445981 and engineer no 7013321724. I had called to him on 17th June, he said that he was not available to shift the dth, on the same day again i called to customer care, then they provided another engineer no 9701820415, i called him on 17th June, he said that he will come by 17th June end of the day, but he did not come, again i called to customer care on the same day and next day 18th June. They said that we will raise a complaint against engineer. Still the process is pending and no one called to me

                            I am trying to activate a duplicate SIM from last Friday and everytime it is getting rejected saying DOB and Father name Mismatch
                            Whitefield Airtel store tried for 1 day and then asked me to go to Kadugodi Main branch - there they tried and got the same the Error

                            According to Kadugodi Branch they cant see my DOB nor they have option to update and asked me to call customer care.

                            Spoke to Customer Care they are saying they don't have option to update the DOB and go to Store.

                            Went to whitefield branch no help--went to Kadugodi they asked me to send mail to [protected]@in.airtel.com as the SIM is deactive

                            After I send mail I got a reply saying mail Id is not matching.

                            Again called customer care, He is saying my SIM is active and he cant change the DOB

                            Am using this number 2009 ironically none of my details is matching and the details what customer care is seeing and the Store person is seeing also doesn't match.

                            Please let me know the process and who is responsible for updating my details. If store person and the customer care cant see my details who has the access and who can give me the exact details/help here.

                              I have done a recharge of Rs1699/- to mobile number [protected] instead of [protected], as the number I have entered got replaced with auto form fill data in Airtel website. I have emailed the issue to the [protected]@in.airtel.com and they have sent an automatic reply to call 121.I have made a call to customer care and explained about the issue immediately. But I have received a negative response from them. According to their rules they can neither recharge to the number I want, nor refund the amount as both the mobile numbers are totally different. I have done the recharge several times before but this is the first time this kind of mistake has happened and that is not the small amount to ignore. please help me in resolving this issue. I have read online the similar incidents with other networks and they have refunded the amount back. I dont know Why only Airtel network has these kind of rules that are not in favor of customers anytime. Please help me with this.

                                Sir,

                                There is constant Signal drop/No Signal/No 4G network in Panduranganagar, Near Bescom Office, Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore - 560076 for the past 1 year. We are not able to make or receive any calls. I am not able to make calls standing on my terrace. There has been breakage of voice and calls and some times the calls land to wrong people. I am surprised to know Airtel being a Number one network provider in India is facing these issues.

                                Request the concerned authorities to look into this matter ASAP.

                                    Hi Team,

                                    I am not sure exactly who is owning the grievances from Airtel.

                                    These are my grievances.

                                    1) I was continuously misguided over the Airtel call center that my SIM can be activated in spite of I being available in Netherlands and buying in time of 48 hours and 72 hours constantly both by emails and calls.

                                    2) I was not informed in no point of time that I would not be able to have my SIM activated which is false. I would also like to inform you that there were always false promises made to me that I would be receiving calls from the Airtel customer care to an abroad number which never happened.

                                    3) I spoke with multiple people of which I would like to name a few Vishwa and Sathya Prakash who have premised me of the above and in vain. I wasted a lot of time and some time and efforts also have been wasted because of the mis-communication.

                                    Can you please let me know who is accountable for all the miscommunication and wastage in time for me.

                                    Also I would also like to mention you the name of MS HindU U who was teaching me of Professionalism which I feel Airtel does not have each of its departments with the issues mentioned below:

                                    1) The same person would not be connected to the call each time I call the number [protected]. The people answering the calls are so incompetent that they are not able to transfer the call to the technical department nor they are able to write emails on behalf of [protected]@airtel.com nor they make proper notes in the call I speaks which makes me waste my time to talk to each of them when ever I call them.
                                    2) Each time I call the above number I was always promised of services which airtel is incompetence to provide the promised services.

                                    I have all the email proofs for which I was misguided.

                                    I would like to have my number activated against the requested SIM as pert the request raised.

                                    My mobile number to be activated is [protected].
