This issue happened at 15 jan when my bill generated. It was much hire what i used to get in last few months. New bill was 588 and old bill was 411. When i tried to call customer care. I was not getting any option to get the representative on call. So i have decided to raise complain on twiter. I got response and call only for resolve the issue. I have told just let me if you are not able to resolve the complain then i will go nearest airtel shop pay and close the service. But these guys saying we are working upon and will get back to you. Now i have got new month bill without any usage. And getting call for force bill payment.

I'm not able to access the network of airtel 4G hotspot. It shows both the green lights but iam unable to access it.

    I am an existing customer of airtel digital tv (Id: [protected]), with the registered mob:[protected] i already had an existing connection for 1 year of hd+sd channels of rs.5999 valid till 7th oct, 2019.

    Now for [protected]-001 as per government and trai regulation on new tariff packs, i was sent a link, where airtel suggested a pack for me at rs.699/month which was the closest to my existing pack and i approved it. I was told by the customer helpline that i will be able to see most of the current channels if i choose the pack suggested. So i did. (Ref id : 316864).

    But even after so many days, i am not able to see many of the channels. Most news channels are also gone.
    Many of the channels in my first connection for which i already paid till oct 2019 has been stopped. Although i had selected a new pack suggested by airtel digital themselves. Most news channels (Which is extremely important), along with many free channels, which were previously shown are not being shown anymore. The free channels like republic tv and all nowhere to be seen.
    Also, i have been kept in the dark about the plans for the connecting set top box [protected]-002.

    I have been previously assured that in time the problem will be solved but, but now they are saying i am not entitled to watch any more channels. They are even not providing me with most of the free channels. On top of that, they are calling me up to pay for extra channels. I feel terribly cheated and is cursing myself that i selected airtel and had been associated with it for so long.

    Terribly disappointed by the service meted out to me. Please help.

      I am not understanding, whom tria is helping with this new rules for dth services, whatever free channels provided with in basic plan are only hindi, please ask them to do region specific, for ex., south indians are not much aware of hindi language, instead of giving free hindi channels for them they should be provided by south languages.
      Also keep in mind of village peoples they might not be much aware of these rules and regulations, and they are not much educated to know all these things, there are chances of fraud by dealers. Please understand this and bring changes in the rules.

      I have been trying to select channels from channel 998 but due to some technical error I could not complete it.I also tried from airtel website to add new pack or channels to my base pack but again I could not succeed.There is no facility of direct talking to concern person .so How can a person do anything ? I am helpless now.
      I have recharged online for my airtel number .money is deducted but .recharge is failed amount rs 297 .airtel is cheating.my number [protected].the cutomer care number is waste.
      There is no network to my sim (Airtel) after completing MNP process..
      I do not get any password as suggested by retailer.. no network over 2 hours I know lot of people have faced this issue already.. please update your service

        Hi,

        I am a customer of airtel broadband since 2004 and have trusted airtel since then due to its customer support but the recent event has completely changed my views against this.

        My details:

        I placed an upgrade request to my current plan (Rs. 799 with 40 mbps vfiber along with 100gb data) to fiber line for which i was getting charged only 100 rupees extra @ rs. 899 per month but couldn't install the fiber line for some days as renovation was taking place on my home at that time but when i called back the customer support today they say that such discount is no longer available and no one is ready to help me out.

        Here are the issues:
        1. When the order was getting canceled there was no notification given to me which is a fault at your end!
        2. Customer support is pathetic and even your senior advisor are not ready to help me out.

        With this, i can only conclude that you take care of new customers but you disregard your old loyal customers as no one from your support team was ready to help me in this case. I was given a blunt response that "i can't do anything you have to pay 999 if you want fiber" in the worst tone which you can't expect from a professional company.

        In case this issue is not resolved, i am going to boycott airtel broadband and going to share the same experience with my friends who are using airtel in my area.

        I will make sure that i take appropriate steps to boycott airtel broadband from my area due to the lack of customer support that we are having nowadays for old customers.

        New SIM not activated even after 7 days of purchase. Airtel is such a as##@@ company. What a pathetic service!!! Bloody idiots. Shame on them.

          I have applied for a airtel broadband connection on 18th feb 2019. I was told by the customer executive that installation will be done on the same day (Airtel broadband connectivity is already available in my apartment complex). Since it was very urgent for me to get the internet access i agreed to apply for airtel broadband. I made the payment of rs 2400 on 18th feb 2019. Unfortunately broadband connectivity is not yet...

            Dear sir i have using airtel from past 16 years sometimes i have faced network problems but recently i have been facing a problem regarding data balance. I have recharged daily 1.4 gb plan so every day in the morning if i check in airtel app data balance has been deducting. How is it possible without using data.. Can go to consumer court. Please check it as soon as possible.. Or else i have to change my network to others..

                I have a bitter experience with airtel customer care, i got a pre-paid airtel sim card but my sms is not working, i was told since i changed sim card it will not work for 48 hrs, which is fine but the time has passed more than 48 hrs, still sms not working. I am not able to chat as i am not getting otp as well. I am not able to reach customercare to talk to a real person, i have been to many countries and used many service operators, if i wish to pay an talk to someone who can fix my problem i must be able to be reached, but with airtel it is not possible.

                  I would like to bring to your notice that your company has started installing a mobile tower in the next compound at no.68, 6th street, baghyathammal nagar, padi, chennai-600050 without any prior permission from respective authorities.

                  I further to state that installation of dangerous mobile towers in residential areas is not authorised by the department of telecommunication and pollution control board because the tower emits rf radiation which causes cancer, brain tumor, heart problems etc. As per scientific findings. I am already an heart patient,
                  I along with other members of the residents of 6th street, baghyathammal nagar request you to stop the tower installation work at once failing which we may be forced to approach the pollution control board and human rights commission.

                      Hello Sir,
                      I am Sushma Gupta, sir with this medium of TRAI consumer complaint. I want to draw your attention regarding my new pack in Airtel DTH TV. sir I have recharged with Rs.300 for my new pack after some min. a message came from Airtel that "YOUR NEW PACK HAS BEEN SELECTED AND WILL BE ACTIVATED SOON" but I am unable to see my recharge pack last from 8 days of my recharge. I have called customer care. and first day they said that 24hr. will be taken, then after next day they said 48 hr. and in this ways they are not taking any action regarding my complaint. they also violate the rules of COPRA.
                      So sir kindly grant my complaint. for this I will higly obliged for you.

                        While choosing channels on ala-carte basis, Airtel is giving 25 channels on their own and which cannot be deselected. Moreover the NCF charges are being charged more than what it has to be. On calling to customer care, I have been told that my complain is registered and no action has been taken till now. Now they are not connecting my call to their customer agent, later they stopped my call from being connected to their agents.

                          I have a family in rural area, in that area, airtel users are unable to cantact anyone because they are facing network issue. When i reach there, i also face same problem, in trouble i was unable to cantact anyone due to network issue. So, due to this problem many villagers are porting their airtel sim to some another sim.                               But this time my experience in airtel store was worse. I had lost my prepaid sim, so i went to airtel store in dariyaganj to get a new sim but without my confirmation the executives there, alloted me a postpaid sim although i had told them to give me a prepaid sim.
                              So i am requesting you to help me and solve my problem as soon as possible.

                                When i am calling on airtel customer care number for gujarat region,
                                After on call, the call is not accepting or recognizing my input for option selection, many times, worst experience.
                                Bad service, out dated service, the website ofairtel is also not show updated service and do not provide all function for customer requirement, the base pack and channel selection option in airtel app is also the worst functioning, i thinm i say not functioning at all and continuously showning errors for all times, they even not bother to update their app and not even get it riht functioning.

                                I am tired of this airtel dth.
                                Never use this service.
                                Other dth services are way better and cheaper and provide customer freedom.
                                While airtel dth tv is full of charges and cheaper quality of service.
                                I hate airtel dth.
                                Other big mistake of airtel dth is their annoying repeated calls for recharging the account and repeated customer abuse for recharge. Repeated customer disterbence, every day call all the year, mental harrasement.

                                Please correct that.

                                    This is with regard to the unsatisfactory experience i had with your local service provider. I wanted to shift my airtel set top box connection from my old residence to a new one (Both are within one kilometer radius) thus contacted airtel.
                                    The technician, mr shadab, sent for this task had the most casual attitude. Came in at his own time. Dissapeared for a couple of hours without even starting the task and came back after several calls only to disappear again. When i called him about his whereabouts and asked what has been taking so long he replied "kaam aise hi hota hai". When we contacted the agency regarding this i was assured that they will be sending some other technician next day. And now, after almost 1 and half months, the very next day i mailed airtel authorities regarding my issue, i received a call from some very kind gentleman assuring me that my issue shall be resolved the same day and also my dth account will be recharged with an amount of inr 350 as a gesture of goodwill. I recieved the call on 16th february around 1:45 pm. And later that evening a technician named mr sattar reached my home to install the dth at around 7 pm. And that's when i was bombarded with unpleasant surprises.
                                    First, he told me that i didn't have any cable (Not a single metre)!!! And i will have to purchase the complete length of cable which i eventually did. Now i had the equipments transferred around 2 months back when an airtel technician with the name of mr shadab was appointed by airtel to relocate my dth connection while all he did was transfer the equipments from old address to new address and vanished. Now, that rude and unprofessional mr shadab also told me that he had brought the cable from old address and that it won't be enough.
                                    Second, my set top box was missing view card!!!
                                    I don't know how my cable disappeared, and how the view card vanished. All i know is that 2 months back an airtel employee with the name of mr shadab was appointed to relocate my dth connection, he didn't complete the job, i complained about him, and things went missing.
                                    Okay, now one can expect even that much from some poor, unprofessional technician, but what happened next day (Sunday, 17th february) amazed me even more.
                                    On sunday i received a call from airtel customer service. Guy named mr zeeshan asked me if my issue was resolved. I told him that mr sattar installed the dth, but my view card is missing. Gentleman at the other side of phone promised to help me by raising a request for a new vc on my behalf. But within a few minutes i received another call from same mr zeeshan telling me that my request couldn't be forwarded as my registered mobile no is linked to 2 digital tv connections, none of which is actually mine!!!
                                    And my digital tv id is linked to some other phone no!!!
                                    Now, i will consider this nothing short of blunder!! I never could have expected such pathetic attitude from literate, professional guys sitting in office.
                                    I had high hopes from airtel. I even recharged with 1 year hd package just when i got this digital tv connection. The recharge alone cost me over inr 8500. And now the validity is about to lapse in april and i haven't been able to watch tv since last 2 months. Due to callous attitude of your employees, i have suffered a lot. I am seriously done with airtel now. I don't want any one of you to call me and come up with these petty offers like rs 350 recharge. I want to deactivate my airtel digital tv connection alongwith my airtel prepaid number. I want my complete money back. I want compensation for the frustration you guys have caused me, for every second you guys have wasted mine, for every penny you guys took from me. I am taking this issue to consumer forum.

                                    My airtel number has update to 4G pack for month but yet I'm unable to make calls. Customer care executive says i have no recharge but i can see it on my phone validity and current pack info. For reference please find attachment.

                                    From last 3-4 days Airtel data network has became horrible. The speed is never going above 1.X kb/s . Guys this is not the first time it regularly happens in every 1 or 2 months.

                                    Please do something else we have more options to switch to. Prove your tag line atleast that u use in your advertisement.

                                      I got my samsung handest insurance purchased with relation ship number 6026445 and membership id [protected], plan name:airtel secure plan (Rs.40000), imei no./serial no.:[protected] validity from 02/01/2019 - 01/01/2020
                                      I submitted my claim of damage on 23rd jan 2019 and it uploaded the images as well. They varified and arranged a pick up. After that they rejected the claim mentioning that the imei number on the back panel is mismatch.
                                      Prior to submitting the claim, this handset visited under warranty repair and was collected from authorised samsung service center on 25th dec 2018.
                                      I was shocked on my claim rejection as the handset was not opened or handled between visiting samsung service on 25th dec 2018 and submitting to airtel secure on 23rd jan. I questioned thier verification and they returned my handset. To my surprise after returning it had the display blank so that i could not challenge on the basis of imei number visible on display.
                                      However, on repeated follow up and pleading they demanded to prove my point by submitting a letter of verification from samsung authorised service center. I submitted the letter (Also attached for your reference) and they kept on mentioning that they are in process of consideration. They finally rejected again saying the same old story of mismatch in imei number finally on 19th feb 2019 and they are not willing to discuss nor give letter or basis of rejection. It is their fault that they completely turned my broken display blank and now rejecting my claim on irrelvant excuse of imei mismatch.
