In compliance to trai regulations i selected a package of around rs. 450/-.
Whereas, airtel added a package of around rs. 4100/- to my above cited account.
I noticed the issue on 7th february and wrote an email to airtel at various levels as also spoke to customer care.
There was no response to the email even after repeated emails including at the level of nodal officer and appellate authorities.
Customer care had all along not been lodging my complaint on the pretext that this was due to a technical glitch at the end of airtel and will be taken care automatically once the glitch is removed.
However, the package has now been rectified but the excess charges has till not been reversed in my account in spite of repeated emails and telephone calls.
After lot of persuasion at last customer care has lodged the complaint assuring the reversal will be done in 24 hrs. But nothing has materialised till wring of this complaint.
The details of the complaint lodged by customer care are as follows. :
1. Dear customer, your reference no. Is 85917743 for balance deduction. For any further assistance on your airtel digitaltv id [protected], please call 12150 or [protected].
2. Dear customer, your reference no. Is 85953025 for balance deduction. For any further assistance on your airtel digitaltv id [protected], please call 12150 or [protected].
I shall like to add that airtel officials at the level of nodal officer or appellate authority has neither bothered to reply nor contact me leaving aside take necessary action for reversal of the excess amount charged.
On 14th february, customer care has replied to emails mentioning that package has been rectified confirming that problem was due to some technical glitch.
However, not making any mention of reversal of the excess amount charged.
At this stage feeling totally harassed and depressed, i am writing to you to take up the matter for reversal of the excess amount charged in my account dut to wrong package as also thereafter i spite of my request for deactivation
