It is to complain about the data drainage on my airtel connection. Day before yesterday I recharged add on pack of 148 of which airtel gives us 18gb of data and with that data and my daily data of 3gb I watched youtube and social media for an hour or two yesterday and today and all my data of 21gb are gone which left me so confused as I keep track of my data usage and I am damn sure airtel is looting its customers in this way as it has been happening with me for a year and half and after trying their every number of customer care i am either unable to talk with a customer care or they provide some silly excuses in this regard. Please and please look into my complaint asap as I am very much fed up with this as I am not able to change my network connection either as all other network companies have weak network connections in my are. Thanks and regards.

    Airtel is cheating on data. Earlier, I used to buy a pack for 1.5 GB per day for 84 days and it used to finish very fast by just sending around 20 Whatapp messages and half an hour usage on social media. Used to send only 10 to 15 posts per day and that too, mostly images. Then I took a 2GB pack per day that also finishes very fast without I seeing any video. It’s the same as 1.5 GB per day. Yesterday also, 50% data finished at 16:15, 90% at 18:12 and 100% at the same time 18:12. That too, when I am not using hotspot or Disney Star. This is a big fraud by Airtel. Please look into the matter and resolve it.

      Hi,

      I was using airtel prepaid sim from past 2 + years and suddenly it stopped working . and i tried to get new sim with same number but near by store they are saying no data is available for my number and asking me to contact head office which is 50kms away from my home and iam unable to go due to my office hours .

            I'm on a 499 per month postpaid plan and have been facing network issues on my phone where the Airtel network gets disconnected randomly rendering my phone useless except for being wifi enabled. Despite several complaints and a conversation with an executive, AIRTEL has the audacity to close complaints saying "Resolved" WITHOUT ANY RESOLUTION. I've been suffering from this inconvenience for the last close to a month now with no proper responses from Airtel's side. Why the hell should I pay a rental for a bloody connection that doesn't work?!

                I have an Airtel number [protected] which was not operative for few months. However, after getting many SMS from airtel I recharged with Rs 99 so to continue my services but they discontinued my number even after this and now my number has been removed from all of their database and i am not able to reissue it. I am facing problems as the same number is registered in the bank.

                  Today at 2:46 pm, I have received the following message:

                  "Thanks for using ONMBLE_CNTST. You have been charged Rs 1.0 from your Airtel Mobile account. For more services, call 56789"

                  I am totally unaware of such contest or promotion and hence such unethical deduction must be stopped. Airtel has not given any prior intimation and neither the company has sought my permission or consent for the subject deduction.

                  This is for your kind attention and necessary action.

                    Activating connection from safe custody

                    My postpaid plan is changed to airtel black but fiber is not installed as there is no . Now i am not able to disconnect it since last 8 months and the airtel company is not helping

                      I had purchased Airtel xstreme fibre in nov and made a new recharge in June nearby and on end of aug i changed my room so I asked them or req to shift the fibre and while shifting internally or there mishandling lead to make my routine work improperly while before shifting it was accurately working and after shifting they asked my router got damaged and again I asked to change the router then they took a week to come back and now they are saying that your network is cancelled and I have no msgs nor call about cancellation yet even I have recharge my fibre till December kindly look forward the ple.

                        I had taken the "International Roaming World Pass" for 10 days, costing Rs 4, 999 (+ taxes). The pack was to be activated on the 26th of August, after latching on to the foreign network, and included:
                        1. Unlimited incoming calls
                        2. 500 minutes of outgoing calls (India + Local)
                        3. 100 SMS (India + Local)
                        4. 1 GB of mobile data per day

                        However, when I landed in Dubai for my transit and turned my phone on, the Airtel app indicated that my pack was already active for over 9 hours, which makes no sense, because I took off from India only 3.5 hours prior. When I reached San Francisco, the problem had not been resolved, and it remained that way till the pack was eventually deactivated many hours before I took off from San Francisco. I raised this issue multiple times on the My Airtel App, but never got a resolution/response. But this was only an issue of timing, and not the service itself.

                        The much bigger issue was was I was not able to make or receive a single call throughout my trip. I had interviewed for a few jobs before I left, and was expecting calls from them during my travel. Which was the primary reason for taking an international roaming pack from my existing provider, so that my phone would continue to be reachable. However, throughout my 10 days abroad (even if the calculation was wrong on Airtel's part by nearly half a day), I couldn't make or receive a single call (Indian or locally in the US)

                        My wife, parents, friends and several recruiters had tried contacting me during that period. I even tried making/receiving calls with people who were standing next to me in the US, to be able to give each other missed calls. But even that didn't work throughout the 10 days! Even the data plan worked very poorly, and there were extended periods when I was struggling to use even basic features like Google Maps or Google search, because of how unreliable the service was!

                        I raised the concern soon after my return, and was promised a call back within 48 hours. This complaint was made to the Airtel Customer Care (121) on the 8th of September. And since then, I have followed up with them 5 times. From 19th to 24th of September, I have been calling them and reopening tickets (that they are closing as resolved, without any resolution or even attempt to contact me) each morning between 9 and 11 AM. Each of those times, I was promised a call back within 24 hours on priority basis. I even spoke to a supervisor (Ms. Archana), and was promised a follow up call within 4-6 hours. This was 5 days ago! I am yet to get any sort of a call back from Airtel.

                        In the meanwhile, I received a message stating that they have provided a waiver of Rs 589.88. Considering that none of the promised services worked as intended, and I was not able to make or receive a single call during the period, it is only fair that the charge for the entire roaming pack be waived off. It is not the responsibility of the customer to keep following up with Airtel over 10 times for each issue, when not a single attempt is made by Airtel to resolve the problem! And each time we lodge complaints, they keep closing the complaints, claiming that the issue is resolved. There is no way for us to even get informed about it unless we try contacting them again!

                        I am terribly disappointed in this service, and would like to lodge this complaint as a serious lapse in Airtel's service.

                          Hi Airtel Team,
                          I'd like to bring to everyone's notice that i requested for an esim and it did not work. When called 121, customer care said we cannot help and visit a physical store. I visited and they did not help as well. I visited again and i had got a duplicate sim card on Sept 23, 2022 and was informed that it would be activated within 4 hours. However it is extremely disappointing to note that it has still not been activated after more than 24 hours and 4 followup visits to the physical store. The physical store guys are not giving any explanation and just trying the sim on different devices and switching on and off airplane mode and waiting for network to arrive. And when i ask them to raise official complain they reply saying its weekend and lets try on Monday again.

                          Also since my sim card has not yet been activated i cant dial the 121 number too and file a compliant with customer care. Request you to kindly look into it and resolve the issue at the earliest.

                              I have re-opened my Airtel Payments Bank which was closed, by providing ₹50 in the store. But now after 24 hours of re-opening, I'm not able to do any transactions also the app is showing a error as Safe Pay is not supported by your current sim, because of which not able to do any transaction to other bank accounts also.

                              When I talked to Airtel Payments Bank technical executive he told to upgrade my sim. They are trying to fooling customers as I've already a 4G-enabled sim card. They also told me to recharge with a pack, I have also recharged ₹209 unlimited pack, which is nothing just a waste of money.

                              Now I want a clear refund of my money total of ₹259/- (₹209 + ₹50) and request to delete my Payments Bank Account details permanently and also delete all the other documents linked to Bank account such a Pan Card, Aadhar Card also.

                              As a student, It's my sincere request to Consumer Forum helpline, to take strict actions against them and please provide me with a refund. For me my money is very crucial as a student I've no income.

                              It is again a sincere request to Consumer Forum to do the needful and request Airtel to return my money as soon as possible.

                              Still now there has been no call from Airtel about this issue, Please again it's a request to Consumer Forum to try their best to resolve their issue, I'm not able to do any kind of transfer or receive money from other banks in my payments bank account.

                                  Money deducted, recharge not reflecting

                                  Hi,
                                  On July 09, 2022, I recharged my Airtel number, with an amount of ₹118 for data balance. However as of today it has not reflected in my account neither I have got the refund. I used airtel thanks app and Made the final payment via Google pay. I also got an message from airtel that recharge will reflect in 4 hours and contained a reference number for future reference. Unfortunately the same is not even reflecting in Airtel thanks...

                                    We have two postpaid connection with Airtel for which we are billed monthly. We asked the customer support of Airtel to input our firms GST details I’m the bill so that we can submit it to our company for reimbursement. To this Airtel support confirmed on 15th August that bill shall include GST details from next month. However again they have issued a bill without GST details and when we reached out again to the support, they are saying it will happen for, further next bill. It’s a scam to trouble consumers like us and the support of Airtel shall be penalised for misguiding consumers and spreading false information just to close the case, when no improvements are offered to the consumers.
