To Airtel Company,

Here by this mail, I would like to apprise you with few realistic facts that your valued old customers are facing, today while customers are having ample options from various service providers and numerous luring offers from other telecom companies, we have always decided to stay with oldest well known company “Airtel”. The real problem starts like this : from last almost 7-8 months we started facing issues related to signal and connectivity, majorly call drops and time again we called customer care department and informed them about our issues . Many times our problems get solved but connectivity issues was always a problem . One of our old complaint was not closed even after months passed (January, 2018 onwards and still unresolved).

Finally after various complaints last week my wife’s phone, started showing “no service” and she called up customer care, nothing happened . On 20.09.2018, I was on tour and unable to contact my family so I called up customer care myself and registered complaint for my wife’s number, the executive explained that “micro sim” is no longer working and we have to change it . Important to note here we were never provided any complaints number nor any message came for complaints we registered many times (5-6 months ).

On 24.09.2018 besides busy, I visited many company’s outlets and surprised to see, none of the outlet seems serious in attending customers . I visited Nangal Raya center at 2.45 pm they told me to come after 45 minutes as they were having lunch that time . I then visited Masoodpur, Vasant Kunj branch where I was told that I can’t get the micro sim as my wife has to be present there ( I was carrying adhaar and other proofs ) . My wife and son is suffering from fever ( 102-103 C) unable to come I told them and they refused, I callled up customer care at 5.00 Pm and some Mr.Sohail picked up with whom I discussed the issues and my problem, he assured that by 7.00 Pm I will get sim delivered at home . I was really happy to hear this and was thinking that Airtel value old customers and Going to help me out . He even gave me lead numbers : [protected].

I waited but no message or person came to deliever the sim, finally I again called customer care ( you have to try various complicated options to speak to executives ) and this time wish to speak to some senior so my problem get resolved, after waiting for 25 minutes I was told that senior person named “Mr. Promod Kumar” will be online, finally Mr.Promod came on, one and resolved all my issues (8 months old ) by suggesting me to port out of Airtel . He seems angry, he was unkind and bit harsh . He refused about any option of sim card being delivered at home . I was totally shocked and again asked him if there is any possibility of sim if can be delivered at home as my wife is unwell he bluntly said NO .

My 15 years of association with Airtel, my so called status of “old and sincere customer” status ( in my mind only ) all came to and end .

Today I then requested for port to TRAI, thinking who’s fault is it ? Should we have people like Mr.Promod Kumar on such senior position . His mere few kind words, his few extra step ( Delievering of micro sim at home if he understood my family was ill ) could have forced me to stay with Airtel .

This just could be one story for all of you, a customer with just 2 connection today you may lose . Believe me like me many are there who are not happy with Airtel anymore . Numbers then could be in million - “it’s not competitor who is strong, it is we who are weak”.

    Dear sir I have recharge pack of Airtel 4g RS 169 date 6-09-18 and I have check plan mobile no is [protected] get unlimited plan is 28 days pack but after 14 days data and calling has stopped. I talked customer care but customer care told me my unlimited pack has expired and your pack has only 14 days valid but know my ballance check this no *121# then show valid 3-10-18 and also voice customer care automatic voice calling told me 3-10-18 but costomer care has not accepted this plan please help me sir. This is fake customer plan.

      Our airtel network connection account number[protected]/[protected] username:[protected][protected]@airtelbroadband.in, had been shared in an authorised manner and all the data related to network surfing and network browsing had been accessed by anonymous users.
      This is been a high breach of security issue. Indeed its the primary responsibility of the vendor to provide secure data to the customers.
      Either you took the countermeasure within 24 hours or i will escalate this issue
      At the country head level followed by a string of legal actions in detail.
      Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
      Today i got a message that my Videoparlor Service
      is activated and 50 rupees is deducted from my account and i have not subscribed any service
      This is purely cheating customers by AIRTEL

        With utmost grief i want to bring it to the notice that on 15.09.18 i called up the customer care of airtel dth in order to remove my sony hd top up.
        after i spoke to the customer care executive and told him to remove the top up i was astonished to see that not only my sony hd top up but almost all my channels were stopped by your executive. since the call was still on i told him about it but instead of looking into the problem he disconnected the call.

        On the same day i again made a complaint with the customer care executive by again dialling the number and after a lot of reluctance i was connected to a technical team and when i told them about the problem they assured me that within 48 hours things will be resolved and all my channels will be restored.
        again i made similar complaints on 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20. But instead of listening or resolving my problem they closed my complaints. In between i even got a call from airtel and was again told that in 24 hours the problem will be resolved but to no avail.

        i requested that if the problem is not being resolved kindly give me back my money to this also they are not paying any heeds too.

        I request that either my problem be resolved and my channels be restored and if not my money be refunded wef 15.09.18 so that i can move on to some other operator.

              Am surprised to note that mygames service has been activated on my mob no [protected] without me asking for it. Rs. 35 are being deducted every 7 days. Have already lost rs. 105. You are requested to deactivate this service as also recredit the amount debited discreetly oin account of service which was not asked for, failing which formal complaint for disrobing the customers by activating services which were neither asked for or activated by me.

                Incorrect bill of 228 rs was charges for mobile no. [protected].

                I have converted my postpaid number to prepaid number by clearing all the dues. But still after a month my bank account is been deducted with rs 228 for postpaid bill.

                I have converted my postpaid number to prepaid number on 11th aug by paying all the dues for period 11th july to 10 aug.
                But now my bank account was debited for 228 rs without sending me any sort of bill.

                This is just not acceptable. Without any proper bill or intimation you can't debit the amount.

                    Airtel dth deduction rs 20 fine without notification. When i called the customer service they said it is company policy and disconnected the phone.

                    They have been doing that every month for the few years. This money is getting deducted without notification.

                    I need a refund for all these years. This is unfair deduction as it is a prepaid service and it should not have a late fine.

                      Hi on 5th sep 2018 i have done an international roaming recharge of my number [protected] for rs.2449 - order id - [protected] as i was travelling to dubai. Once in dubai, neither incoming or outgoing was working and after various attempts to make it work, i had to do other top ups on the next day for the calls to go through. I want refund of my recharge of 2449 as it did not work. Airtel cutomer care is saying u should have called us from dubai, now we cant do anything. Since i did not avail the service for which i paid, i should be refunded my amount.

                          My name is ritvik. I got my sim ported into airtel on 21/09/2018 with rs 499 infinity family plan and since then i am trying to get subscribed into airtel secure on my samsung note 8. On clicking the "subscribe now" option on airtel secure banner (On home of my airtel app), it always gives the error "something seems to have gone wrong" and a "try again" button appears. But i cant find any success. I have even tried to contact 198 but even they are helpless. I have attached some screenshots below. Please do the concerned.

Bill no.[protected] it was showing that i hd sent some international sms to the same number i. E.[protected], 2 times details below:

                            28/jul/2018 19:11:38 [protected]

                            And again i hadn't sent any sms to that number and had no idea about that number. When i checked online the same number found for fraund in vodafne and airtel for many times. I guess its a very big type of fraud from the telecom companies. They are charging lacs of rupees from many customers mentioning that "u hv sent a text to that international number" and charging for that 5rs per sms. I want to know that what the hell is this going on... Ye log customers ko aise pagal banate ja rahe hain aur log pagal bante ja rahe h and the reason is lack of time.. All are busy in their profession/business and duty... Aur usi ka benefit le rahe h ye mobile phone service providers... I just want to know that when will these types of fraud stop??? And also i want to know what is the penalty of airtel company for this crime??

                                    Hi am venkatesh i have use this network lost 3years. Now i suffer with this network calls not connected data is shows 4g but not speed is not like 2g also

                                      I am not able to make or take calls via mh airtel sim as whenever i call someone after few rings the network goes off or slighty depletes to zero and the call gets ended. Same happens when i take calls.
                                      I am facing this issue since a month or two now. And now i am facing internet issues too. I used to get nearly 2.5-3 mbps downloading speed which has gone down to 300-400 kbps along with this calling issue. I am not even able to make calls and use my internet properly which i paid for. Airtel's services are worsening day by day.

                                        I am not grtting the 4g network (Pin code area 560049) the company has promised, in my area. There is a tower nearby. Even then this is the case. I complained to their customer care several times. But they are not taking it seriously. They are saying the issue is fixed. I am getting good coverage in my home balcony but not at all inside my house. Should i need to be in balcony always??
                                        I am not getting what the airtel girl promises in her ads. So pls consider this complaint seriously and make them correct this issue as soon as possible

                                        Nobody has contacted till now to address this problem. I am losing my money just because of their ignorance. Airtel customer care used to say the range in my area is OK. There is no problem etc. but they should visit my home and see whats going on.

Even then the coverage is marked as Good instead of Excellent . I really wonder about this. Surely there is some technical issue. Please resolve the issue as soon as possible. I am even thinking of changing the data provider is this goes on.
