Respected sir,
I am telling you the tale of my harassment by airtel customer care and its local allahabad airtel store employees. It is humbly stated that i am a customer of postpaid plan bearing mobile number [protected] of airtel mobile network since long. Due to very poor network quality and ignorance of airtel maintenance wing towards its network quality i had decided to migrate my plan from postpaid to prepaid. For the said purpose on 21st august 2018, i visited the store of airtel situated at m. G. Marg, civil lines (Civil station) allahabad u. P. – east, where i had completed formalities like filling of form with photo and photo i. D. And also deposited rs. 700.00 including an excess amount of rs. 194.00. On that day a sim was provided to me at the cost of rs. 25.00 as prepaid sim. I was told by the store employee miss rishu keserwani, that my sim has been paired and it would be activated the next day i. E. 22nd august, till the late evening of 22nd august neither my postpaid plan was migrated to prepaid plan nor prepaid sim was activated. Feeling distress and dilemma i called customer care – 121 – and apprised my problem to the person who put the call on hold and later informed me that my work was in progress and most probably it would get completed on the next day i. E. 23rd august.

On 23rd august i decided to visit aforesaid airtel store again where miss rishu kesarwani met me and told me very rudely that she will do her job and she was not at all concerned about my problem. She also responded very rudely and in an inappropriate tone when i asked her what i could do next saying, “go and ask customer care”. I had been visiting the aforesaid airtel store on a daily basis in the lunch hour of high court and meeting the same lady and receiving the same reply and every evening i had to call customer care same as i did on 27th august when i had insisted the customer care person to connect my call with the supervisor. He told me for that purpose he would have to put my call on hold which he did for a very for a long time. I had no option but to agree on his condition and after being put on hold for about 28 minutes the supervisor came on line and he asked my problem and i apprised him my problem. Then he assured me that my problem will be resolved in the next 48 hours, in this regard a – sms – had been received by me with reference no. :[protected] but things remained on the same position. Daily visiting airtel store and calling airtel customer care became my unfortunate destiny.

On 29th august i again visited aforesaid airtel store and met miss rishu, she told me in an extremely rude manner that – i had retained my postpaid plan and if i wanted to migrate then i will have to fill the form and complete the formalities in the same manner as earlier. Then i again called customer care and asked the person who held the call on the other side to connect me with the supervisor. Having been put on hold for 50 minutes the supervisor came on the line and asked me about my problem again. I apprised him my problem regarding migration of my plan postpaid to prepaid, that person (Supervisor) also assured me that it will be migrated in 22 hours and he informed me, that some person will contact me on 30th august. I had also received a – sms – bearing number :[protected] in this regard. On the morning of 30th august one mr. Pradeep contacted me, i told him about my grievances. Mr. Pradeep asked me to visit the aforesaid airtel store and meet mr. Naveen mishra. As per direction of mr. Pradeep, i again visited the store and met mr. Naveen mishra, who told me that, “you (I) have no any other option but to complete the same formalities again and deposited outstanding“. He called one mr. Yogesh (Employee of the store) and told him to complete the formalities. Mr. Yogesh provided me with a form for migration postpaid to prepaid. I filled the same and pasted my photograph again and attached the photo i. D. Too. He again directed me to deposit rs. 100.00 as an outstanding and rs. 25.00 for the sim pairing which i did after a long exercise. He (Mr. Yogesh) informed me that my prepaid card had been paired successfully and now my plan will be migrated by the next day and prepaid sim will be activated by the evening of 31st august. But sorry to say in the same manner nothing had been done.
Aggrieved by the store i called customer care at 10.00 p. M. On 31st august and requested the person who held my call to connect me to the supervisor. After long hold of about 30 minutes one mr. Jarnail singh started the conversation with me, i again informed him about the whole situation, he asked me to hold the call so that he could update the position, meanwhile call was dropped or cut, i again called 121 customer care and again requested to connect me the supervisor, again after long hold of my call about 20 minutes, another supervisor came on the line and again i apprised him of my agony, he told me that he will follow the matter and assured me that some person will meet me on the next day i. E. 1st sep 2018, but no one bothered to meet me/contact me. Now persons working in airtel store are making mockery of me.
In this regard, an email was sent to airtel customer care and appellate authority of bharti airtel on 3rd september 2018. Then awakening from their slumber customer care called me from the number[protected]. On the other side, some gentle lady asked my problem on which i apprised her complete matter of arbitrary action of airtel staff whether it related to store or customer care. After listening patiently she asked me the name and number of airtel store employee who handled my case when i filled the form second time. I told her mr. Yogesh’s name and number. She told me that she will look into the matter. After some time she again called me from the aforementioned number and apprised me that the airtel store is overburdened with work so my work is delayed but she assured me that my number will be migrated in a day or two. After my conversation with her, i received a missed call of the aforesaid airtel store employee mr. Yogesh and he told me that from his side all things are o. K. But employee verification could not be done and it was showing error again and again and no one bothered to solve this problem from the higher side of airtel. On 5/09/2018, i again went to the aforesaid airtel store where i received the same reply.

One store employee (I do not know his name neither do i wish to disclose his identity because he bonafidely advised me) advised me, “it is better for you sir if that you port your number to another network because airtel does not migrate postpaid plan to prepaid plan, it is airtel’s policy matter.” he then introduced me to one sikh fellow and apprised me that, “this gentle fellow is also running from post to pillar for the same problem”. Now it is crystal clear that it was due to the policy matter that all these things happened and i am suffering. I did not expect these things from a network like bharti airtel. Those days are left behind when i felt proud that i am a consumer of bharti airtel. For me, it is a matter of shame that i believed in this network.

On 6th of this month, bill cycle will run and airtel will compel me to deposit outstanding again.

It is pertinent to mention here that i received a reply to my email from ms. Anjum fatima but my problem remains on the same point.

Respected sir these things were done deliberately and intentionally to harass me because i dared to make a complaint against mrs rishu kesarwani employee of aforesaid airtel store. My problem and complaint is still in the same position. Now i have no other alternative remedy but to file this petition before your goodself.

It is most humbly and respectfully prayed that your goodself may take cognizance on my complaint and pass an order to migrate my mobile plan from postpaid to prepaid and award compensation for this mental and physical torture as your goodself think proper, pass any other order and direction which may your goodself think fit and proper in this matter.

    My airtel number [protected]

    I have migrated my airtel number from postpaid to prepaid and since then i’m not able to make any outgoing calls and sms to any number, however incoming calls and sms are working fine along with data browsing.

    I have been chasing their customer support team and sometime able to connect with so called sr team as well but still after 4 days of waiting my issue is not resolved.

    I have got an sms staying that my issue is resolved and i need to powe off and on my device which i have done multiple times but of no use.

    I’m attaching the service request number and resolution message as well.

      I lost my phone about 10 days back and got a new sim for my existing number from airtel. Firstly it took about 3 days for the sim to get activated. After it got activated i came to know that the outgoing calls and sms are not going... Inspite of repeated calls to customer cars and personnel visits to airtel customer care this problem has still not been resolved.

        To whoever it may concern

        This is to bring to your notice that i am extremely dissatisfied with the service offered by airtel. Despite my constant complaints to customer care which take hours to get through, services have been activated on my mobile number [protected] without my consent.

        Recently on sep 5, 2018rs. 99 was deducted for activating sports pack which i never requested. From your own don't activate any service without my permission. I just want the number to make and receive calls.

        On aug 10, 2018 funny video store service was activated for rs. 75.

        Please revert back my balance as this has been happening time and again and despite my constant complaints it is falling on deaf ears.
        Moreover your customer care agents are very ill behaved. Last time i spoke to your agent rajesh chauhan to deactivate airg buzz india service of rs. 35 who was very ill behaved.

        This is really disappointing considering i have been using airtel for years now. You will lose a loyal customer if you don't do anything about this.

        Waiting for your action on this matter and reply on my email for the action taken.

          Dear sir,

          I have changed my sim card from 3g to 4g i. E. Mob. No.[protected] for which request was sent from the above mobile through message on 3-9-18 at around 1 p. M.. A confirmation message also came. When even after the passing of almost 24 hours it was not activated a reminder was also sent. A return message confirmed that it is under process but till now it is not activated.

            mene 22-08-18 ko meri shop ke naam se connection ke liy airtel ke promoter vinod ko phone kiya tha. 23-08-18 ko vinod (airtel ka promoter) meri shop par aaya or mene three month ka broadband connection jiska amount 2120 rs hota hai. mene usse kaha k me payment connection lagwane k baad hi doonga to usne kaha k payment aapko advance hi dena hogi or phir is promoter in kisi gopal saraf ke paytm account me transfer karwa diya jiska transection id mere pass hai. 3 din baad company se phone aata hai ke hum aapki shop ke naam se connection nhi de sakte to mene unse connection cancel karne ke liye kaha. jiske baad se ab na wah promoter mera call receive kar rha hai na hi koi meri madad kar rha hai. jab bhi gopal saraf ko phone kro to kahta hai company ka procedure hai ese hi kaam karte hai. ab yeh log mere 2120 rs nahi lota rahe hai paytm ki transaction slip attach kar rha hu

                I paid RS 4838 for Airtel broadband connection on 14 the august 2018(CAF[protected]. Amount got debited from my account but Airtel is saying they dint receive the amount. I confirmed with HDFc that the transaction is successful and money has reached Airtel.
                Inspite of calling Airtel customer care many times they dint resolve the issue .they didn't confirm me if they have received the amount.
                I am planning to go to Consumer court if they don't resolve my issue

                  I have called 6 times to Airtel Broadband for my request of shifting the connection to my new address. Still They have not done. They are coming up with some nonsense excuse everyday. The service should be done by August 3rd, 2018 but still 5th August, 2018 its not done. I have called 6 times to Customer care regarding when the technician is coming. But still they have no response.

                  This is not at all a good service from Airtel. If they have to be in competition then every customer is important but they are forcing me to leave the connection. If So, then return my remaining 2 months money and I will do it now. very bad response from the customer care team also.

                  I need the connection for my office work but Airtel is not caring at all. If any Airtel Guys are there then show me how a customer is important. This is horrible.

                  Expecting a fast response as I am fed up with everyday followup on this.

                    I purchased your broadband plan of rs 999. I got my connection but I didn't got any benefit yet.

                    In your site it's mentioned that you will get following benefits:
                    1000GB bonus data for 1 year.
                    Amazon prime membership.
                    landline with free local/std calling.
                    Now after I paid for 6 month in advance, What I got is only broadband connection.

                    I called 2-3 times to your customer care executive but they are fooling me.

                    Some time they are saying that 1000GB is credited in your account for 6 months, some time they are saying that 1000GB is credited for 1 year, while I didn't got any bonus 1000gb data.
                    It is valid for 1 year as I was told by your representatives when i was searching broadband initially.

                    Same for amazon prime membership, I downloaded Airtel tv app and checked every section, I didn't find any option in plans available section to get prime membership.

                    Same, I didn't got my landline.

                    So overall i am cheated by you people clearly.

                    Is this your service, Is this the way you treat your customers ?

                    Shame on you.

                      I have recharged with airtel 448 pack, but i am unable make outgoing call, my home network is karnataka, but now i am in chennai, seriously i am really fed up with this kind of services from airtel, due to urgency i have recharged, but now am unable make call, kindly check it out soon...
                      We should not trust the provider, since they just grabbing us, not providing proper services.. Hope ypu people will check it out soon, or else reclaim my money.

                        Hi,

                        I have ported my SIM FROM TATADOCOMO to AIRTEL. I got intimation that my sim will be ported. I lot network on my TATA DOCOMO so i started using AIRTEL. But 24 hrs has completed still not network. Shop assistant says it will activate in 24hrs to 48hrs. What the disgusting service, its main number of mine and i go not option of any online payment and money things. I didn't not get any important calls from 2 days. This is never expected. I lost my 2days of efforts.

                            Your network problem has become so severe for last two months that we are not able to receive any phone calls at my office and my residential place. Whenever somebody call me, my phone is always unreachable and after some time i get the message regarding that call and i call them back.
                            Call dropping, unclear sound while talking on phone is a regular feature on airtel network.
                            Inspite of repeated complaint on 121 no concrete solution is offered to me instead they are quite an expert is in lingering on the complaint until the customer is fed-up calling them.
                            Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                            Just now Airtel has deducted Rs 20/ from my Mobile No [protected].Please refund my money immediately. Customer care not given any reply.

                              I am not using any service from Airtel since 2016. But on date 04-Sep-2018, A Transaction of Rs.695.99 has been done on my Kotak Credit Card No.xxXXXX at www.airtel.in (PGSI). How is it possible? I have not received any invoice or Bill from Airtel since 2016. Where from did you collect my Credit Card details?

                                Firstly, airtel cheated me saying the fastest network so i got the postpaid connection ([protected]) but soon i started experiencing bad service where i am not even getting 2g network. (Note: i took connection for monthly basis rs 649/- use to pay every month 12th) i used till may and paid the bill on june 12th.
                                Since i was getting poor connection (Not even the home page of any url was opening) i called customer care and updated this issue and they said within 7-days airtel is going to resolve the network issue (Ticket number:[protected] which they didn't do even after 3 months, in this time whenever i called to customer care they use to say within next 4-5days we are going to resolve the issue and without my knowledge they changed my plan for advance rental (Where i need to pay some 3000+ rupees and use the service for next one year free) i asked them about this but they don't have any answer. Since the service was very bad and i took internet service from other vendor i asked them to close the connection but now these airtel is asking me to pay 3k+ amount to close the connection (Note: this is advance rental plan).

                                Here is my question is:
                                1. How they changed my postpaid plan without my knowledge and why didn't they changed it even after i asked them to change it to monthly plan which was there earlier?
                                2. Why i need to pay the advance rental plan for the poor service which i want to close (I paid may month bill which i used and raised an issue about network issue which they failed to resolve)?
                                3. Why should one pay advance which they don't want to use?
                                4. Why airtel cheated me saying india's fastest network where i am not getting 2g netork that to in bangalore city?

                                Please take this as serious concern as airtel people are calling and asking me to pay the bill its kind of mental torcher.

                                  My number was a telenor number. After the merge of companies, it turned as an airtel number. Now, i am not able to receive the calls. Response says number does not exist. People have been complaining that it is taking atleast 4 to 5 attempts for the call to get connected. I called the customer care and got a response that there is no issue from the company's side.
                                  Even the internet is very slow. Please resolve the issue asap. I am in two minds about going for a port to some better network. I have been facing this issue for more than a month now

                                    Our broadband telephone connection number[protected] installed at 2903 sector 46 gurgaon is not working for the last many days. Already intimated the concerned man mr dheeraj but till date nothing g has happened. My phone does not have dial tone. The internet stops off and on. For three days evenings it totally stopped working.
                                    Please rectify the fault and restore the normal working g of broadband connection
                                    Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                                      There is something called Desibeats services from Airtel which activates automatically and has been cutting Rs.15 per 3 days without my permission. Three days back i had known about this and had stopped this service but then again they activated automatically and cut the given amount.

                                        My prepaid balance of rs.20 has been deducted (11:57 pm, sept. 4, 2018). Says it's been charged for valuepack. But the thing is that i didn't do that and didn't opt to use any of the value added services.

                                        My mobile no. Is +91 [protected]. (North east circle). I did my recharge of rs. 30 at around 07:43:40 am today (Sept. 4, 2018)

                                        Everybody makes mistakes, it's okay if it's a mistake. So, all i want and also my humble request is to refund the deducted amount, if possible at the earliest.
