This is regarding, "airtel secure insurance". Airtel secure insurance, gave a false claim of providing me insurance and not provided me this insurance as they promised plan.
Because i had airtel insurance, i had applied any other insurance, due to which i am alreay in rs.90, 000 loss. And now since they are not providing me this insurance, i will have to spend more of rs.80, 000 to purchase a new phone.
Last month june 2018, my handset got damaged. For which i contacted airtel. I tried claiming airtel insurance through, airtel app, airtel website, airtel one assit link, and also airtel email to particular team who handles this.
I tried claiming this insurance, since the day of damage. I uploaded all the documents for the claim on their airtel app. I was supposed to get a call back from them within 48hr. Which i did not receive, and i called them back.
They replied to me saying documents not uploaded. Second time, i uploaded the document, and waited 48hr and not received any call back from airtel. I called them back, they replied document not upload. Third time i uploaded, and waited from then not calls from them. I called back, and they replied documents are not clearly visible. Like this they continued for a month. And finally i mailed them about this issue, they said upload once again. I had uploaded documents more than 7 times. No response from them. So i understood they are not going to provide me this insurance.
Finally, i mailed them and said i will be taking this forgery complaint into action for not providing me this insurance. Later, i got immediate call from the airtel secure team, stating one more time you upload document, we will process the insurance.
After that i uploaded the documents, once again and i received email from them on 14th july stating my insurance request claim accepted and within 21 days they will do the needful.
Immediately, next day 15th july i received email stating, claim rejected. Again, they started to blame stating i have not contacted them within 48hr.
According to their terms and condition, i have contacted airtel within 48hr of handset damage. Due to technical issue from their side i was not able to update from my end. And when i contacted airtel regarding this, and they asked me to try from airtel website.
And i tried to claim from airtel website, after which again i received and technical issue from their airtel website. For which i contacted airtel and they gave me one link "oneassit" on which i had uploaded document which did not let me edit anything apart from uploading only part of documents.
And i also contacted team regarding this, then they gave me a email id of the airtel team, to which i have sent all the documents due to their technical issue.
Now at last they have ignored to provide me this insurance. Since one month every day i get call from airtel stating i have not uploaded the required document, even when i had uploaded all necessary.
Now after wasting one month of my time, they have rejected my claim, stating delay in intimation. This airtel secure is a fraudlent scheme, fooling customers around and money looting scheme.
Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
