Soon after i recharged my airtel account today (June 3, 2018) at 9:00 pm, i got a message at 9:05 pm from airtel (At-airinf) that namkeen pack services has been renewed rs. 35.00 from my airtel mobile for 7 days. Surprisingly, i never opted for or sent activation request for namkee pack service. On calling airtel, i could not get a satisfactory reply. The customer service lady kept on telling that it was activated by some web service or so, and that airtel do not have any information on that. She told that i could stop the service by sending an sms to 155223 by writing stop. I want airtel to refund my rs. 35 immediately and credit the amount to my mobile account. Airtel should also stop this fradulent practice immediately if it intends to retain its customer base.
Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
So in a way it would mean that I forgot amount of INR 4245 and take new SIM from them, so very unprofessional .
They are not ready to register the complaint too and saying that you bought it online from Airtel site so ask them only for help .
Actually none of Airtel employees are ready for help, they just want to complete target of fooling the customers .
