Dear team,

I have ported my vodafone no. [protected] into airtel with porting code vd319413 which is valid till 14th may 2018.

Now i got two sms from you, one is airtel has validated by vodafone (Gsm) & second one is your services have been set, please restart your handset at ist 23:00 pm but since i am facing the problem that my number is still showing no service.

Almost 10 years i am using my number xxxxxxxxxx without any issues. But since last few days i was unable to access my number and so today i checked with customer care through my sister's number, I got a shocking reply that this number has been recycled to someone else. This is not fare, I should be given prior notice before you do something like this. I am using this number for various purpose like banking, Job seeking and even this is the registered number for my aadhar card. This cant be accepted since 10 years i am using the same number and if there is no outgoing calls from the number for 3 months you will recycle it. There will be various reasons (Accidents, sick or out of Country) for not making outgoing calls or not maintaining the minimum balance. You cant just decide that we'll not use this number. I got a Call [protected] (RtBrick India), But i didn't got a proper answer instead just repeated excuses follwed by a mail saying "

"At the outset, I regret the inconvenience caused to you.


As discussed on your number [protected], we would like to inform you that services for your airtel mobile were discontinued on[protected] due to no usage found on your number in last 90 days. Usage could be with respect to an outgoing call, SMS or data usage. Beyond 90 days period, in case of no usage, charges of Rs.20/- per month are deducted from main account towards service extension for 30 days. Due to insufficient balance, the amount could not be deducted and services were disconnected permanently.

Further, we would like to inform you that your number has been allocated to new subscriber. Hence we are unable to reactivate the number as there is no provision for the same."

Still didn't got a answer how they can disconnect my mobile without Proper Notification.

Is it cheating in the name of their Rules ?

Today Morning 7:14 AM (Qatar Time) I got a Call from [protected], saying the same excuse. I asked them My aadhar, banking details were linked to it and if someone misuse who is responsible ? But i got the same reply " I understand the point of view, i apologize the inconvenience cause. .. bla bla bla.

Again i asked before you answer me tell me by complaint number. She said she cant register this as a complaint.

What it means ? They can't register this as a complaint ? They took my rights. Is it a customer need ?

Now another Call from [protected] @10:21 am ( Qatar Time) again a lady answers me while asking her name she disconnects the phone. She said it is by process and go wherever you go and its our process. I raised some questions to her but no answers and they refuse make it as a complaint. my Questions follows:

Why i was not informed before you deactivate the number?
How you decide that i am not using this number for 90 days only for not maintaining a balance or recharging that number?
Do you know my banking accounts and AADHAR Card is linked to this number and its OTP will come to that number and what's the answer for that?
What if my aadhar card or banking transactions were misused by someone? And who will be responsible for that?
You have provision to recycle my number to someone without my knowledge and now you are saying you don't have provision to reactivate?
Is this cheating a valued customer in the name of rules?
Is this taking away the right of a valued customer ?
Don't you know the Value of a Phone Number?

    This is very sad on your service part that i have requested for an additional connection for my airtel dtv id no - [protected] for last five days and requested twice vide request no[protected] & 7390885 despite cancellation of my request from your side. I have made several calls to[protected] for the same and also requested online through myairtel app but of no use and no result.
    If my request is not entertained within 24 hours then i have to disconnect my existing connection also and there is no other option left.

    After posting my request for additional dth connection I have received several phone calls from[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected] and that is only to inform that we have received your request and shortly your problem will be resolved. Today is 7th day and my request is still pending and the SMS I am receiving is "inconvenience caused is regretted and your issue will be resolved shortly". I don't understand their definition of shortly.

      I have a spare prepaid airtel sim card for emergency use only for incoming calls. Charges are being arbitrarily deducted for unsolicited sms services such as sportsmatchday, modelmaniaw, vidiopindw, gamezine etc. As soon as the service is deactivated, it is arbitrary reactivated after a few minutes. Though i have not made a single phone call, my recent topup of rs.120/- has been wiped out in this manner within 10 days. I demand that such malpractices should be stopped immediately and full refund should be made to me forthwith.

        Dear Sir,

        I use two airtel connections (both of them 8 +yrs old). One has been moved as corporate number ([protected]) and other remains personal one ([protected]).

        I was travelling through Europe on work last couple of weeks (9th April to 24th April). My Office number had Rs 3999/- IR pack activated which was used extensively by me and personal numbers mobile data switched off before boarding flight from India and switched on after landing back in India. For personal numbers data connectivity, I have used hotspot from my office number and wifi networks wherever possible.

        However, I have been charged Rs 649/- per day where I am very sure that I have not used any data / calls from my personal number. My credit limit is also just Rs 3600/- whereas bill till 19th April is already crossed Rs 8000/-. The amount is too huge for first 10 days and 6 days yet to come. I have tried reaching couple of times to customer care but I have not received any positive response.

        Request you to please look into the matter and help to resolve this ASAP.

          Its only due to poor internet 3g/4g service inspite of recharge rs.509/82 day validity 2gb/per day

          I am facing this issue from 15-20 days ago. That is why i decided to join jio network by port my number
          Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
          Chittor (Andhra Pradesh) Airtel store officers are rude behaving with customers, they are not giving proper answers to the customer questions and they collecting extra money for services.
          My city's bad network & 4g net speed and outer villages areas not good network and Internet speed much then better from this network

I don't have any other number to contact i am having only one number and now it is not working. Its not happening its more than 8 hours and its still its showing emergency calls only and i really need to call because its quite emergency. If i was in danger or mishappening than what would i have done. Oh!...

              From last 30 days the network coverage has become worst. Very very poor response. Previously a year ago we had the same problem, but at least you people had tried to solve the issue to some extent if not completely. But now despite of complaining several times about the issue, no one has turned this side. Is this the way the airtel treats its customers..? Especially those customers who never turned towards other telecom service providers from past several years. Any how kindly consider the issue seriously and initiate the necessary action.

                  Myself puneeth, i've recently got a refund from airtel as they've given me the wrong information after that now my recharge pack ended and i want to recharge with 499₹ pack which provides 2gb data per day but i don't have any option to recharge through ivr, so i called customer care service. They said they couldn't recharge with 499pack instead they can do it with 448 which is 1.4gb per day. I called them a few times to register a complaint. I've been said that i'll get a callback from them within 3 days but i didn't get it. I've ₹636 in my main account and they couldn't do it. I talked to supervisor and she said that she can't help. And refused to take complaint and give me the docket number. There's lot of time wasted for me in the process. What is the use of refund if i can't use it?.                     I have been using airtel from last 10 years and more. But recently i am fed up o[censored]nnecessary deductions in the balance of my prepaid balance account.
                    The service funzone that activated itself automatically. Deducted balance rs. 35. Call to customer care very unfair answers given. As per customer care provide me time details at that time i was driving and not using mobile which was very surprising to me. Can airtel please stop these type self service activation and deducting balance.
                    This is one of the technique to loot people that too rural people because they will not knowing whats that? Simply they call those stored numbers and some or the other services will be activated and poor people will not be aware of this, they keep on recharging their mobile. Bad for poor people.

                    I was not able to make outgoing calls for past few days. Specifically when i make call to BSNL it says "All lines are busy". I need to try it for more than 10 time for the calls to connect.
                    There is always a network problems nowadays daily when all the airtel users don't have a network at all its been more than 4 months . i thought that this will be sorted out quickly but its been 4 months and this annoys me.

                      wear no have airtel tower for my vilage in kharuaa thsill bagoda dist jalore rajasthan
                      I opted for a international roaming. Done 779 inr pack purchase but roaming was not activated in UAE. The issue is not resolved in 7 days. Please find attached screen shot.

                      the issu is my vilage no have airtel net work and mobile user about 2000
                      so please make new tower in kharuaa wee give yu the land
                      It has been almost a week we lost connectivity to the internet and have raised multiple complaints oftne just hear that i will get resolved in 24 hours however in reality nothing has changed for a week now. Which clearly describes misleading customers and billing for the days where connectivity is not available
                      Airtel Mobile company cheated me by activating VAS services twice my number
                      It was last activated on 25th Apr2018 @5am
                      Refund my money back.
                      I have recharged my number [protected] with Rs 199 with transaction reference[protected] through online mode.But recharge was not done, money deducted from my bank account. please take action right now.

                        Airtel is such a fraud company that they do not even intend to help their users. I called therir customer care number and there was no care.in fact, i recharged from their website and app and bpth the time my money got cut and my phone wasnt recharged.

                        Also, really baddddd customer care service.
                        Plus when i got my phone balance recharged from the retailer and i was intending to opt for a pack from my available balance then this service is not applicable. I mean what kind of nonsesnse is this.

                          Network stability is the one of the major problem in area. And another one is internet speed is so dumb, speed is #. One side ookla say airtel is the fastest network on other hand is not rise's 50kbps on 4g. Please resolve this problem nither i quit airtel. See in given image 4g but where? I lived in lucknow u. P. Alambagh rdso manak nagar... And when volte services you have been started in lucknow east?

                            I am having airtel corporate plan for me and my husband. Now my husband is in abu dhabi he enabled international roaming services however company sent him bill of around 4k without permission deducted from his account. We tried to contact customer care however very slow response and no action taken.

                            Now the new issue they stop his services without any intimation.

                                Dear sir,
                                I am srinivasa mobile no's in my family are 90141713, [protected], [protected] all 3 no's are of airtel prepaid no's,
                                Issue started past from 3 months following with airtel about network issue like voice break, calls connectivity, call drops and data speed issue. But earlier it was very good this issue started from 3 months
                                Finally by sending several mails to airtel.
                                Now they are telling new site required need to wait 90-120 days to resolve the issue.
                                This is just to escape from customer by telling reasons, because i am prepaid customer. Old site is just 300 mtrs from place and no new apartment / building came up.
                                They are not ready to send dt engineer to site and survey technician to customer place optimization required in panal / antenna which transmits signals from tower to mobile devices.

                                Please give us possible solution to network issue in airtel in my area.

                                  I recharged for a sum total of rs399 which consiste of 1gb/day data but everytime i used my data upto 600-800mb a message which say your data od finished will be send i dont know what you airtel think about but i request the airtel company to fix it as soon as possible like i say today i will used only 600mb... What happend to the other 400mb airtel stop #ing around and fix it... If not am changing my sim to jio # you airtel i thought airtel is good but it is the worse i recommend every one to use jio as it never play with data like airtel # you and thank you

                                    A service called whatsmob has been activated by airtel by itself and deducted my balance of rs 35 once and rs for 25 later. How can you deduct my balance and self activate a service which i have doont know about untill a massage comes. And deducted my balance. I want my money back.
                                    Plz look into the matter and refund the amount, also try to avoid such instance and people are not so foolish as in the past and now mnp is also available.
