Hi,
We have lost our landline connection and broad band connection more than 3 days ago. Also, It is more than 3 days now and their call center floor manager is saying that they cannot promise anything and if possible I can contact their senior management for this issue. Everyday we are calling them for the issue.
We are clueless and helpless now.
Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

    Its been 2 months and more I have given request to migrate my mobile number [protected] from post paid to pre paid, but still it is not yet done.

    Just because of your poor service i have paid 2 months of bill without any usage.And all my banking and other works are impacted due to this.

    I make contact with Nodal office also, they assured me to do it by 18/12/17 but not yet activated.

    I am very frustrated neither store persons are helping nor nodal office or 121 customer care persons.

    Please resolved this on highly prioritize basis.As i am waiting since 2 months

      It is hugely disappointing that the customer service center of Airtel is absolutely ###! Pardon my language but you people don't have any sense of responsibility. It you can even help your customers then why the hell have you opened a customer service on the first place? I got my number recharged with Rs 500 so that I can activate the 448 or 359 pack from my phone itself. But without any prior information or message on my number, that service is unavailable. When I called the customer service to do the same from my number, they took the matter without any concern that they can't help. In what sense is it a customer service when you wouldn't give any prior information about stopping activation of services or help your customers with it! In that case I have to recharge from a retailer and my 500 rupees gets wasted. Even when I told them that I would I rather change my number because such kind of horrible service and attitude, the customer service employ was hardly took in interest saying that it was my wish! WHEN DID AIRTEL BECOME SO IRRESPONSIBLE TOWARDS THEIR CUSTOMERS? I've never been so pissed off with you people. Really! And please teach some manners to your customer service employers. To be honest Amazon, PAYTM and others have really helpful executives, and yours were the most disrespectful ones I ever contacted with!

        My mobile no is [protected]. I hv recharged 399 pack.. But when i'm in roaming free call is not working internet is working when i am in roaming, but call is chargeable too high. My handset is mi y1 model. When i am in roaming symbol "r" is not showing in top side of network. So what is the problem let me told and please solve my problem as soon as possible.

          Recently i have migrated from postpaid to prepaid. I got my prepaid network after a week after getting network i cannot recharge my number. I have called customer service they are saying just "sorry for the inconvenience caused". They are not resolving the issue. India's worst customer service.
          These are the complaints which i have registered on airtel.

          Airtel is playing with customers. This is the second time i'm filing the complaint. Last time they just updated as "unable to reach customer" and they closed.
          Please have have some responsible when you are giving service to the customers.

            Bill payment on airtel website does not allow paise.
            The reason online payment and transactions are made is to transact in paise and decimals. However airtel website has been build in a very clever way to cheat customers. Bills are generated involving paise and when customer tries to input same in the amount due the bill amount gets rounded off to a higher denomination. My bill dated dec 2017 is for amt rs 234.32 but while trying to make payment in their website the due amount taken is rs 235/-. An excess of 68 paise is cleverly moved to airtel.
            Inspite of repeated mails there has been no change in this malpractice. As a customer i do not want to make less payment and owe any amount to my bill account nor do i want tto pay anything excess and same be adjusted in my future bills.
            As a service provider airtel cannot work like a kirana shop adjusting and rounding off bill dues of their clients,
            This is a huge malpractice as they have a large client base. The entire process is at the moment involving in few paise but if i look at the whole picture you can be handling hundreds of customers like me where you are fraudulently making money by charging extra be it in paise or rupee and in the end while closing off the mobile account you might not even return anything back as the customer might overlook this negligible amount in paise. Its fine with one customer but with 10 customers airtel is conveniently pocketed a good amount for themselves.

            I hope this is taken on a stringent note and airtel update their so called "technical glitch" else a legal action needs to be called for.

            I have receivedmail intimation from the airtel appellate team stating that only any amount over and above the completed dues of a customer for Rs25/- will be paid back if they close the account.

            "Further, if you have requested for cancellation of the number, pro-rated rental and usage charges till the date of cancellation will be payable once your final bill is generated. Post that, any excess amount (> Rs. 25) available in your number, the same will be refunded through cheque within 30 working days from the date of cancellation."

            This is highly fraudulent and not acceptable legally, On what basis can even one paise if due to a customer be pocketed by any business establishment ????? Will they close the account in similar fashion if there is anything due from customer end ?????

            Legally all financial transactions have to be fulfilled in a clear rounded manner unless if accepted mutually for anything otherwise between two parties.
            On what basis can airtel take a call and inform customers saying that only anything beyond 25 rupees shall be paid back if excess.

            This is a clear picture of airtel making money through fraudulent practices and fooling consumers.
            I'm highly unsatisfied since they are making money cheating millions of their users by such malpractices.
            Legal action will be involved as the whole issue seems totally ambiguous with no clarity.

            If airtel can bill customers in pulses and charge them in denominations less than a rupee then they need to facilitate their websites and bill receipt modes technically viable in accepting in denominations less than rupees and in decimals to accommodate bill amounts charged by them in paise.

            Totally frustrated by their loose handed response and attempts to pacify customers that technical issues will be rectified someday with no clear cut deadlines just so that they make money cunningly.
            I have not subscribe for caller tune then why money deducted from account
            I have airtel 4g connection at home. I am getting not even 1mbps speed on the same. I had complained earlier but no one visited for resolution. I am looking for Airtel to contact me to look into it.
            I am using 4G home router for this connection. Please help.

                  Dear airtel team,

                  It is disheartening to bring to your notice that i feel duped and no one is supporting me to change this belief. The incident log is as below:

                  I have recently moved from rt nagar to sarjapur, suncity gloria apartments (Bangalore) and had enquired for a broadband connection with airtel. A basic response from your team took over 2 weeks. I was given great hopes of discounts and was persuaded to pay for 6 months subscription (Inr 4100 in card: details attached) and inr 100 (In cash for which no invoice or bill was given). Further to that, i was told that the installation would take place in 24 hrs.

                  The installation team never updated me on any progress and after repeated follow up i was given some lame excuse of cables not being available. After repeated begging and pleading, the installation team (One mr. Abhishek) said that they will come for installation on 2nd december at 10:00 am. I waited for the entire day and the team came at 6:00 pm when i had just stepped out. As though this was not ridiculous enough, i was told that the team will come on 3rd december. The team came and they kept saying that there is some "back-end" issue. The team had showed up at 10:00 am and kept me waiting till 4:00 pm after which i lost my cool because i had neither eaten nor bathed since mornong. At last i had to steely tell the team to leave my premises as they were not even taking this issue seriously.

                  After they had been told to leave the premises, one mr. Muthu called me up and told that he has corrected the issue and the activation can be completed in "5 minutes", but sadly i had run out of patience and also i had to leave home for some personal work.

                  On 5th december again, as i was on leave, i requested the team to come and do the installation and activation. This time the came at 9:45 am and sat till 2:00 pm, post which they said that they are unable to provide the connection as they do not have any other lines from which an extension can be taken. I know for a fact that the family living two flats away on the same wing and floor has airtel connection.

                  I told them to leave and have requested for a refund of my money inr 4200 on 5th dec. I was told that it takes max 9 working days. We are today at 20th december and i feel terribly agitated about the fact that your company has provided me neither a connection nor a refund.

                  Please consider this as my first and final written request for my money. Beyond this i will have to approach a consumer court. I want a response and a refund within 48hrs.

                  Few points that i'd like to highlight here are:

                  A) request you to please ask your advertising team to stop airing misleading ads of amazing network. Your network is pathetic. Please invest in bettering the network instead of investing in falsified propaganda.

                  B) please ask your on-ground team to be more professional in respecting people's time and their commitment. Your team. Is neither competent nor empathetic. They are just pathetic.

                  C) when your team gives a commitment, please educate them to stand by it and provide updates from time to time. The biggest issue us that after a customer has paid up, she/he is treated worse than trash. One has to follow up to know of progress regarding a service that they have already paid for??? Don't you think this is ridiculous?

                  D) please instill some basic integrity in your team as the airtel team clearly seems to be lacking this one factor. Commitments made by you are never honored.

                  As a concluding line, i'd just want to say that customers pay through their nose for your high charges compared to your competitors because they expect better service. If this is not respected, then you will lose your customers to the competition. I'm sure that's very basic knowledge. Please remember that mightiest of companies have been ruined because of their arrogance towards customers. I hope the same doesn't happen to your company.

                  Please act on my complain and refund my money. Also, please try to improve the general quality of your services.

                    I was away from state last few months and due to inactive my sim card has been disconnected and check with airtel store, the sim card not able activate, according to store after some time airtel company will reissue sim card some where else, airtel store could not help me out!!!, as this number given to my friends and family... Its very important to get it back...

                      On 19th i couldn't use my data as well as on 20th due to some service error and i even coundnt connect to customer care to enquire about it and my data pack is of 448pack (1gb/day for 70days) is my data pack and when i called to customer care she spoke to me rude as well as when i told to check she told that option is not available and refund is impossible is this how airtel will loot money? 448/70=6.40ps were it was a loss for me in one day and i asked friends who has experienced it how much will airtel make if they stop services for few hundred people i never expected this type of setvices from airtel i hope serious actions would be taken on them

                        I've contacted airtel customer care to activate my hotspot. I've paid 3000rs to get the connection on 11th dec'17. However the device is not activated yet, and customer care is not responding.
                        This connection was taken due to certain emergency, while they have taken the amount but services can't be used. Apart that the dial time takes long time and i m not able to reach their customer care guy.

                          We were provided with the information that we would be getting the day 10 gb data as soon as we upgrade our airtel sim into 4 g data so after getting updated sim we didn't got that offer as offer possibly received in 3 days. But even after calling to the customer care also they were responsing very rudely and no positive response was there regarding our query and problems we are totally unsatisfied and feel very unjustified that we are using airtel

                            Hi one of my friends ported from airtel to idea and now airtel has blocked his incomming calls from all airtel users, means on his idea number no airtel users are able to call him, airtel i pitu you for such a worst act, before we take this matter to court i am requesting you humble ly to unblock my friends number so that he is able to receive calls from airtel customer.                               Dear sirs,

                              I want to bring it to your notice about the arrogant and care free attitude / approach by airtel. I am the customer of airtel with mobile (Data card) no [protected]. Till recently i also had another number [protected] with airtel, which i have ported out due to bad network and no resolution by airtel for over 7 months.

                              After my port out of [protected] out of airtel, i got calls from their customer care stating there is an outstanding for the interim period use which they wanted me to pay at a airtel store only by cash. I had asked them for the bill for the same, which they refused during first few calls. Later in few calls they agreed for the bill but never sent the same.

                              In the meanwhile for past one month, my other number used for data ([protected]) was deactivated without any information. But they have raised the bill which has been paid too. When i have raised the issue of no network for [protected], their executive called to inform me that "network disconnection is due to non payment for other number [protected]" for which they did not give the bill till the time of call.

                              I want to know, as how can airtel disconnect / deactivate a number which is paid regularly for a reason where customer is not at all at fault. This is height of high handedness and put me under mental stress and pain.

                              I want to know as why should i make the payment of balance, as airtel already taken full month charges for [protected] even during deactivated period.

                                As reported in the media airtel has opened airtel bank accounts without the consent of airtel users in the process of linking aadhar to the airtel mobile number. I am one of the victims and am in the process of closing the airtel bank account. I wish to bring the following to your attention:

                                1. I have a savings account with bank of india since 2007. My aadhar is has been linked with bank of india as per kyc requirements. Before linking airtel with my aadhar my subsidies have been deposited in my bank of india account without any problems.

                                2. After linking airtel and aadhar the subsidies automatically got diverted to airtel bank. How is this possible by airtel?

                                3. I have also received sms the name of my nominee for my bank of india account. Does this mean that airtel can access bank account detais?

                                I hope necessary action will be taken against airtel.

                                    I lost my mobile phone on 16.12 2017 and i had done a general diary with the police station. With these i went to the airtel office on domlur road branch bangalore to request a duplicate sim card. To my dismay the behaviour of the airtel team and namely mr gilbert madhu was absolutely shocking to say the least and actually there was passive aggression in his behaviour stating that the phone no. Has been in the name of my earlier office and they need a proof of a noc from my ex-office. As loosing a mobile in today's world is extremely critical i asked him if there is any other solution for eg. I have evidence that i am paying the post paid bills for the last 2 years, i have a gd from the police station and i could give an true copy certificate that the no. Is mine and not the company - mr gilbert looking very non-chalant without any sensitivity says straights in my face that "no" nothing works - this was the moment i felt as if i am entering a police station asking for a help and the police officer tells me its your fault and we cannnot help you! That was the exact attitude i got from a private service provider who i have been a client for 15years! However i also asked if there is a noc format which is available and he said "does not matter the company will have one" i asked him again specifically is there anything else i need to know and he did not respond to me and went to attend another customer. When i got the letter on the letter head of my ex firm by email - i took a printout and went to mr. Madhu gilbert and he said this does not work as there is no rubber stamp and he needs the original - when i reasoned with him that he did not give me these exact details when i asked for in the first place - he looked at me dismissively and said i told you all these - it was a blatant lie... And i was further shocked... And upset it was unbelievable i was dealing with a private service provider - but having no choice but to get the work accomplished this morning my colleague went to meet mr gilbert at the shop in domlur and he is again told that i would require my aadhar card and one photo and personal appearance! Again this was not communicated when i asked him if there is anything that i need to know - this is the third visit - can you imagine apart from the mental harrassment that i have to take time out from my busy schedule - what concerns more than the lack of professionalism in give me accurate and timely information is that a very passive threatening behaviour and this is indeed very alarming - if this can be done to me i wonder what must be the state of other less sophisticated airtel customers who are perhaps ignorant that they have a right to protest. If this is happening in a very upmarket locality of airtel office in bangalore i wonder what is the state of affairs in other places - in todays world for professionals loosing a phone and being disconnected is extremely stressful and when you go to a service provider to seek help and get a response as i have described above is shocking dismaying and absolutely unacceptable. I would request a written hardcopy apology on the letter head of airtel from madhu gilbert - i would want that this letter be handed over to me at the office of airtel domlur within 48 hours of this complaint and if possible at around 12.00 pm - if this does not happen i will escalate the matter to airtel top management and if this does not give a recourse then i am going to "name and shame" the company. I am fighting because this is a clear case of service provider who can have the ability to hold a huge advantage over simple citizens like us and get away - so please we need to bring this up - this is the least we can do to bring citizen rights to be protected and not taken for granted by such huge private conglemerates. I daresay that the attitude of madhu gilbert reflects the attitude of the top management airtel as well. The

                                      Very bad service from airtel. Everytime tried to connect with 4g speed but connectivity is so bad that it's shows 2g speed. Several times launched a complaint against service but nothing is happening.. Worst service from airtel nothing is happening with the complaint well there is no option have to port from airtel to different service provider.

                                        I did recharge of 198 pack on 10 dec 2017 which gives 1gb/day for 28 days. I came to know about the offer on my airtel app account. After recharge i got only 2.6 gb per 28 days. I was shocked and called to cc, the person spoke that informed that offer is available and will be activated within 4 hours, still i have not get the offer. I called cc again but no response from them. I spoke to two supervisors, no one helped me and not showed interest to raise a complaint. Supervisor farvez spoke very rudely and without respect. He did show any interest to listen to me. Need immediate assistance on this.
