I was suggested by customer care agents to change my connection to a post paid services and get a beneficial plans for the usage in future, I did the same and over the years I am noticing that my bills are reaching sky high. Last week I have decided to change my network rather continuing with AIRTEL, further to which I got a call from Airtel customer care agent named, 'Ashish' for resolution of my problem, where he literally forced me to say on call that, I want to leave this network and when I said that, I'll take my decision on this later, I immediately got a second call from the same guy saying that we respect your decision and kindly say on call that you got a resolution of your problem and you decided to leave our network. Heights of hypocrisy, firstly I am termed as a valuable customer for their network, secondly they ask me to leave the network in obnoxious tone and threatening me to accept that I have got a solution to my problem. This is way to unbearable act from the service industry especially the so called network brand AIRTEL

    Hi, I bought an Airtel 3G Dongle, on 21st January 2014. I paid advance rental of INR 2550 + INR 350 (Security deposit). For two months, I tried to use it at my residence (Block-4, ODS, Lajpat Nagar-4, New Delhi 110024). But, it never managed to give me a consistent connectivity. Everytime, it either gets disconnected, or never managed to gain a bandwidth over .5 to 1 kbps. In these two months time, I haven't even used 1 MB data, as the dongle couldn't provide me with any bandwidth. I consistently called up their customer care technical team, and lodged several complaints. But everytime, I get this sorry reason, that they are looking into it and their "Backend Service Team" will call me. I never received any calls from their, so called "Backend Service Team", but their Tech team is consistent in replying that they did spoke to me, WOW. Finally, frustrated and exhausted, I called up their customer care, and give him a verbal beating. Then the truth was disclosed to me, that they are having some wireless internet service issues at my area/locality. I asked them, when will it be rectified, and they had no clue. I finally lodged a cancellation request in the last month of March 2014, and the disconnection request was approved on 29th March 2014. I again called them up regarding the refund status, and they told me that it will be done in next 60 days, as it is their corporate policy to hold in ransom, the customers money for 60 days before releasing it. And I was being told shamelessly, that two months rental will be deducted on pro-rata basis even though Airtel was incapable of providing me with any service. Today, on 25th May 2014, I called up to enquire about the refund status again, and I got the good news, that nothing will be refunded, as advance rental is not refundable. Also, no security was visible in their system. So in a nutshell, Airtel 3G Services, simply earned INR 2900 from me, without providing any services. Kudos to Airtel. I could go to the Consumer Court with my complaint, but I don't want to waste my time or energy, as we all know how efficient the system is. My simple reason for writing this post, is to bring to light the atrocity of corporates like Airtel. If they have the guts to treat customers from the nations capital like this, I can only guess the agony of customers from Tier-II and Tier-III cities. I simply warn my fellow customers, to be very sure about the service availability of Airtel in your specific locality before going ahead with any Airtel related purchases. Entry into Airtel Services is very easy, but they will suck you dry, once you try to leave their ecosystem. Arunav Talukdar...

      I would like to intimate that my Internet Service connection was not working from 23rd April, 2014 to 15 May, 2014 due to PWD work in the locality.The Modem blinked every time and when stable too it did not worked on the computer.As I had complained several times, the servicemen told me that in between the time the Internet was not working, they would cut the amount in the bill payment by sending this complaint.         My prepaid mobile number is [protected] in Dhanbad city. I had scheme of Re1/3mins for STD calls which costs Rs 29. On 19th May 2014, my scheme was over so I recharge on 20th May 2014 at 7:19 PM and TransID is [protected]. And on 23rd May 2014, I got the message from the company that my scheme was about to get over in 2 days. Since then I am trying to call the customer care but they are not taking calls. So, I want to total refund of my balance in last 5 days and compensation for mental stress that company has caused me.

          With deep dissatisfaction, I would like to lodge a complaint against the Airtel mobile Services. I own a postpaid connection [protected] connection, for which I made gateway payment through my HDFC bank in[protected]: Here are my grievances towards the process I made a payment through my HDFC account of amount 1920/ I got the confirmation of amount deduction from my bank account and I do have proof of deduction also but it gets update from airtel service that your payment has been decline by the bank although i already made the payment. This is really annoying me. These are the payment detail POS [protected] BHARTI CELLULAR POS DEBIT on 24/05/2014 reference number: 364473 amount paid by me-1940 please look into the matter so that private companies like airtel will not cheat the consumer to any other consumer

          My prepaid mobile no.[protected] was activated for international roaming on 22 april 2016 by paying Rs.2000/- as I was planning tour abroad for a period of six month.When I reached Dubai I Was able to contact some one in USA..Now I am in SAN RAMON, in California, USA. I am getting only incoming call and no outgoing call from my mobile.Can you please advice me the further action from my side in order to get the out going call activated.

          I have port my airtel number [protected] from Delhi NCR circle to UP West circle a week before, from last 5 days i am not able to use internet, in this regard I have lodge my complaint on their customer care number 121 five days back, since than i am making regular followup, and also lodge complaint at their outlet at begium bridge, despite my regular followup my issue is not resolved, there is no next level of escalation available.

            Hi... I'm using airtel number for almost 4 years now. Although I always had signal issues with Airtel but it was manageable untill past few months. I stay in dwarka and my signal goes blank every now and then. I cannot keep talking on phone for more than 30-40 seconds. The call drops sometimes even before that. I called up airtel customer care but I think they just fool you by saying that they have registered a complaint. Next day they sent me a msg saying that "network services on your airtel number has been boosted. Pls switch off and on your mobile now". I did exactly the same but there was not change in the network. My calls kept on dropping every few seconds. I have lost so much money because of this call drop problem. I am really fed up of airtel and its customer care team. Next time I called they didn't respond well. Airtel is answerable for providing such a poor service and actually eating so much money by these call drops.

              Hello My number is [protected] . I am currently in Kolkata and I am being told 3G network is not supported in Kolkata . The sim I am using is from Karnataka . I have been roaming 2 Vodafone store and no one could tell me why my device was not working in Calcutta till one person on the Dongle service desk[protected] said there is 3G in Calcutta but it doesnt support Airtel roaming . If that is the case why were some of the technician from the same helpdesk told me there is no 3G in Kolkata . And why Kolkata Airtel team never had a clue that Karnataka Sim is not supported in Kolkata . This is heights of irresponsibility from Airtel. And The most important point, help me understand the reason why a Dongle which is meant for using while travelling be suported in one part of the country and barred in a different part . I am waiting for a reply and expecting my dongle connects in Kolkata 3G network soon .

                  I recevived a msg from Airtel about caller tune song selection renewal for 15 rs a 90 days and said 'to deactivate send STOP to 155233', which deactivated my Caller tune service entirely instead of just song. I had bought a Rs 200 for 365 days pack in just last month and now they're refusing to reactivate my service back and are asking for fresh rentals for activation. While explaining this to a customer care executive, they hung up the call without giving satisfactory solution. And after some time I received a message that my internet service has been deactivated, I never made such a request but the Airtel executive has done that out of revenge and malice. When called to enquire the exec. are claiming that I made such a request on the same day which I dint and that again I need to pay fresh rentals for the same ie 155/- Rs to reactivate the service that I never asked to disable on my own. I have the call records with me to defend my case and have sent to Airtel greviance cell for a probe. Hope they bother to solve this.

                    Dear Sir/Madam, My name is N.Naveen Kumar iam booking e-ticket in irctc website linked airtel money a/c is [protected] irctc registration user id, but this PNR enquiry not come in *400# iam also talking with airtel money executive but he was telling only booking in airtel money tickets was information available. Why are you not shown PNR status details the linked irctc user registration e-tickets (only booked through airel money information allowed).                       Hello Customer Care team, I KB had issues with Airtel Billing, I tried 'n' number of times to resolve this. However, I have had . sick kind of response from airtel. I was out of mumbai for March 2014 and when in April I came back . I made a partial payment of 2000 in first week of April and wanted to resolve the dispute of the 2539 odd amount. I have never been a defaulter, and thought it was onl yfair to pay the amount at least in part and then voice out greivance. But Airtel has taken undue advantage of my forthcoming and cooperating act. My phone remained disconnected in this time all March adn April. April partiall yonly incoming was activated, which too went off. I called Airtel number of times to resolve this. many times I was kept on hold for 20 minutes plus, many times they told me Senior would call back and the call never happened. Everytime when airtel called for payment I told them my grievance which they did not resolve and made me wait for Senior to respond. Till then they added April amount to bill blowing up the bill, for a period when I had not had any service. only incoming calls for a few days only. Then some back office team girls called. I happened to resolve with them when they asked me to make a payment of 1300 and would adjust 2014/- amount. as credit. This was 6 /7 May 2014 She assured me she is not fooling around and would take 48 hours toa pply credit. I payed 1300 online (around 7 May 2014) immediately and waited. I followed up for which she picked up the call to tell me the same thing that the credit would be applied and not to worry. After few days she was not available on the number. She would cut off and at times her colleague who picked would just say she would call back. But nobody would ever would. The credit was against 1. the March and April 2014, 2. plus some credit which was pending since Sepetember 2013, (when I was out from May end to August end and not using the service ) 3. and also some calls international to UAE which were wrongly charged, as in the calls were not picked, no voicemail .just few rings and closed. 10 ...15..9..8 secs calls. multiple ties such calls have been charged over last few months. I still have paid them off thinking I would resolve this . But when it came to actually resolving Airtel people have done a foul play. The girl Reena, her number [protected] called me and had agreed to give a credit. On which I immediately made a payment from internet banking 1300/- But she never gave credit. She did not keep her word and kind off tried to fool around. This was shocking on part of a company big as Airtel. Do they give this kind of training to their so called dispute resolvers to interact with customers, who are so forth coming and willing to resolve dispute. I waited for more than1 week and called Mr Feroze . his number is [protected]. He only portrayed to be a gentleman but seems to be heading the foul play department at Airtel. . First time I foolowed up Reena picked his call saying he was busy resolving and when I questioned Reena, she said she has not done any foul play. And then 5- 6 days there was no update inspite of repeated follow up . Feroze only told once or twice ..give me some more time to resolve..he was sorry..etc.. and that he would make sure the word is honored etc.. He said it would take 8 hours to update in system and that then the credit wil l show up etc...nothing happened actually !! And then after 3 ..4 days he stopped coming on line.. he wouldcut off the call...his colleagues picked up who spoke crudely and said he was in meeting...etc !! He never ever got back till date. I see this clear foul play by Airtel and its very shameful act on Airtel part. Today May 23 2014, my family received a call probably from some other group ofcrude guys saying they would come home to collect payment. I am out of town and whenI learnt this I tried to call Mr Feroze just to know he is out of town on offical meeting without his offical phone !!. That is ridiculous. Nevertheless, I am here to convey I am ok to resolve this as long as it if fair. I have utterly dislisked Airtels approach. I only wish you take a look into this and try to resolve and not send anybody to trouble my family. When I am ready to resolve, I would not find it professional if some airtel decent person talks decently and tries to work it out, rather than giving such calls. I would ask my folks not entertain anybody at home in m y absence. If you are eager to resolve this ..communicate with me over email and let me know what you can do and we can take it from there. I cannot disclose my number /details over public forum. You can ask Mr Feroze and his team if they have initiated this collection calls to hold off till this dispute is resolved. You can contact Reena and Feroze on the numbers mentioned. I am not paying that amount. I have been not only wrongly charged, I have a complain of wrong behaviour, non cooperation, Foul Play, Threatening by Airtel and harrasment ove rphone.                         Hi, We use to received many calls from your call center, almost every day, requesting for unnecessary information. It was worst communication today I had ever my life, there were a male and a female calling from [protected], and started behaving like "Police" and asking for confirmation and verification. And the lady said she is going call me back every now and then, and threatened me to do whatever I can, she will not stop calling me. Surprise !!! Are you executive doing a "Policing" ? I have requested many times to them not to call on my number, but still I am getting calls ! I have 4 numbers one of them already converted into Reliance, balance 3 are still on Airtel (2 are prepaid and one is post paid), do you want me to convert these as well. And I will go to other vendor it you fail correct this. Please take the necessary action against them an make a system where you can exclude those number who are not interested in calling them for new offerings etc. Appreciate for a corrective action and expecting an update from you.                           Applied for Airtel broadband connection on 17th of March and it had got cancelled on 27/03/14. The representative told that they would immediately refund the deposit if the application gets rejected due to unavailability. I called the customer care and got to know that the refund process would take 20 days. I was supposed to get the refund within 20 days i.e. by 20/04/14, which I haven't received yet!. After my frequent discussions with the customer care, me and my alternate number received around 10 calls asking if we were interested in a broadband connection and the area in which we live in. Every executive who called in, tells that he will check the feasibility and get back to us!!! And we have never received back a call with the feasibility status!!. Its been around 2 months and still we have not yet got back our refund which was supposed to reach us in 20 days!! This is really frustrating and annoying.

                              Hi, My Airtel Prepaid Number is [protected]. Yesterday i.e. May 21 2014 I recharged with Rs. 38 which will give 150 Local + STD SMS and 150 MB Internet Data for 6 days. The description is clearly written in Airtel website, easymobilerecharge and paytm. I recharged through Airtel. After I got recharge succesful conformation message, I tried to browse website, opened facebook, trying to download whatsap that's only for two minutes. At that time time, my balance was Rs. 87, but immediately my balance come down to Rs. 50. After that I checked whether I got free SMS or not that also didn't work as when I sent SMS the balance deducted Rs 1.50 for every message I sent. Today morning also I tried with Internet, same issue I faced. When I tried to connect customer care yesterday it was not connected. Today morning at 11:30 when I tried to connect customer care the call was connected and Airtel people said you are recharging whatsap internet balance you can check that with *123*90# but I don't want whatsap balance as I have access of wifi in office. Intentionally I recharged with Rs. 38 for browsing, facebook and SMS. But these Airtel people are cheaters and they are cheating the customers every time. They are displaying wrong recharge denominations in websites. Now, I don't know where can I get exact information of recharge denominations for Airtel. One more thing when I asked my amount back to Customer Care they clearly denied. This is completely disgusting, frustrating, irritating, annoying. So, what I recharged is completely useless for me. Till now, I lost Rs. 38 recharge as it's of now use and balance deduction of Rs. 50+ a total of near Rs. 100. Attention Airtel: Where can I get exact information recharge denominations? Why you people are cheating customers? If any denomination is currently not available why you don't remove from website? Are you people really enjoying by cheating customers? Note: I also informed your customer care executive I don't bother about Rs. 100 which I lost during recharge and browsing but I will write as a complaint against Airtel in Consumer Complaints so that people get understood how the Airtel people are. At that time Airtel executive simply said Yes you can write. Special Note to Airtel Management: Is this the way how to organize the things? If you people change I will be happy.                                       I was called for a demonstration of Airtle 4G connection and the demo was arranged on 28th April. Airtel representative told many misleading and fraudulent information which led me to convince that I will be getting all the services that I desire. However it was not the case. Even, when I realize everything after taking the service, then I contacted to Airtle support center and after many communication via mail, it seems they are not willing to help me at all. Main grievances from my end are as below I have been offered 5GB unlimited plan and I shall get 128 Kbps speed after 5GB. Though, I think, "Unlimited" tag is misleading and cheating because 128Kbps speed is useless. This is like traveling across the world on Bullock Cart. Airtel representative told me that I shall get 3G+ coverage where 4G is not available but 3G is available. But this is totally a wrong statement and I am getting only 2G service with very low speed. One page is opening in 3-5 min. Airtel representative told me that dongle will support calling while connected to internet and I can talk using laptop's speaker and microphone. This is another wrong statement. Dongle does not even support local usage statistics like other vendor's Tata photon, Relience, MTS etc. I have to repeatedly log into the online Airtel site. The site even does not give me detail connection by connection usage statistics. This is not expected from client perspective. Airtel representative told me I can use other vendor's SIM card in this dongle as well. This is also a wrong statement. I asked to do my bill generation date on the last day of every month as I requested to start my service from 1st May'2014. This is also not full filled. I asked to provide me a xerox copy of filled form. This is not provided. Airtel representative did not inform me about two options, i.e dongle & router. I would prefer to have router but I have realized that you provide two options after purchasing the dongle. Even, speed during demonstration was 13 Mbps whereas I am getting 4 - 5 Mbps which is way lower. I have long mail communication with Airtel representative and I also recorded Artel's representative's conversation for reference. I alslo provided below options to allay my grivances which were ignored by Airtel customer support team. Option 1: I am completely dissatisfied, hence I seek total refund of payment Rs. 2124 Option 2: Replace my dongle with a Router without any additional cost Option 3: Replace the ZTE dongle with Huawei dongle which has more features than ZTE Option 4: Provide a real unlimited plan with minimum 256 kbps speed after 4G data cap limit, 5GB my case Option 5: Ensure 3G service out side of 4G area, e.g specifically at Naihati location where I stay 3 days per week Kindly take necessary action against Airtel 4G team.
